Have you ever wondered what it’s like inside the head of someone with ADHD? Have you ever looked at someone with the disorder and wondered what makes them tick? That person with the attention span of a golden retriever. That one person who is great in a crisis but is easily distracted by shiny things. Have you ever wanted to know what it is like to have ADHD? Well in this episode we will be discussing just that. I will be joined by my good friend and fellow ADHDER, Jessica for this engaging discussion. Check it out. For this episode of Coffee And A Car Ride, I figured we needed a little levity, so this one features dad jokes—dad jokes that are corny, stupid, idiotic, and just plain bad but somehow always funny. So enjoy. Trauma changes you permanently. It affects you and forever alters how you interact and engage with the world. While that is terrible, there is good news, like a fresh cup of coffee after a good night's sleep good. You can heal. The damage to your brain, which trauma does cause, can be healed. There are many ways to mend, such as with medicine or therapy. There is one area that I think we need to look at as well, spiritual. On this episode I am joined by a very special guest, Ashley Brothers. A motivational speaker, an international life coach, and a teacher and practitioner of shamanic healing and energy medicine, Ashley takes us deep into the process of healing from things like trauma on a soul level. We will explore how spirituality can help to heal those wounds that seem to always reopen, and fester in other areas of our lives. This is an episode that you don’t want to miss. Hi, and welcome back to another episode of Coffee And A Car Ride. I know it’s been a while, but I had to take some time to think about the direction of the podcast. After careful consideration, though I love politics, I decided I wanted to cover something that I feel is truly important: mental health. So for a little, the podcast will be laying off the controversy and focusing on mental health. In this episode, we will be talking about an issue that affects everyone; that is anxiety. Yes, the dreaded feeling that stops you in your tracks and makes you question everything. Anxiety. Oh, and we’ll learn about the history of mental health. Joining me for this discussion will be the wonderful mental health advocate, content creator, and future therapist, Sara Potter. So tune into this exciting episode to learn about the history of mental health and anxiety. I know I said that we were going to be moving on from the topic of “What America Means to Me.” However, someone recently sent me a recording and, due to its compellingly honest message, I thought that it needed to be heard. So here is one more perspective on the idea that created a nation. A big announcement! The next episode is going to be about two very important issues, loneliness and anxiety. So, start panicking and feeling alone. Just kidding. Be on the lookout for it.

On this episode of Coffee And A Car Ride we continue to exploration of the question of “What America means to me?”. I asked dozens of people that question and got both surprising yet somehow familiar answers. After hearing those perspectives, I was left wondering if what America means is really factual.
