It's definitely wild. I was not expecting any of this. Like, I'm just feel like I'm a normal girl from Kennesaw, Georgia. I just have a. I drive like, 2013 Lexus. Like, I call her Beat Up Betsy. I lock the front doors myself. Like, I can't even listen to music on there. I listen on my phone. Like, my radio don't work. Like, I'm just like this nursing and nannying, you know? It's just like. When you got your phone back, what conversation surprised you the most?

[Kenzie]

Probably just kind of just being exactly, like, sincere and stuff. That. That kind of threw me for a loop. And then also just the hate comments on Dylan. I was not expecting that, because he's been nothing but amazing, and I was like. I was just. My jaw was on the floor for him, and it. It hurt my heart so bad to see him upset.

[Alex Cooper]

Well, I want to get into all that because I feel like, yes, a lot of people either were like, you were so messy, or they thought you were misunderstood, or they were like, this is the only person that's actually doing the experience completely. Right.

[Kenzie]

Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

I want to go back a little bit, though, before we get into the details of Love Island. How did you even end up on this show? Like, what made you want to apply?

[Kenzie]

So I actually had never watched the show. I've watched the UK Love island, like, once. Love them. Huge fan. But my best friend in nursing school, Hannah, she, like, told me, hey, you should apply for Love Island. And I was like, okay. And I'd been studying all day, and I just, like, did a 90 questionnaire, talking. I was eating dinosaur nuggets in my coffee. It was like, 4pm right after my hot girl walk. And then I'm like, I. I did that. And then after that, I failed nursing. Like, failed my last test in nursing school, you have to get a 75 and above. I got a 74 point, like, 96. So it was 0.04 off.

[Alex Cooper]

And it was the 2030 thing.

[Kenzie]

Yeah, it was 100% the 2030 thing. That's what fucked me fucking over, bro.

[Alex Cooper]

Like, oh, fuck.

[Kenzie]

But I ended up having a break. I went to. I got my hair done and, like, all different. And, yeah, I took a breath for myself and then got back in the game and finished on December. Or no, when did I graduate? It was, like, literally right before January, March. Like, March 12th. And then I was sent on the 13th, like, the day after.

So your friend was the one that was like, maybe you should do this.

[Kenzie]

Yes.

[Alex Cooper]

And. And is this like, typical Kenzie fashion where any of your friends surprised you were doing Love island or were they like, oh, that's so classic.

[Kenzie]

No, it's actually crazy because they. My dance friend, like, right before I went on, she's on the Hawks dance team and she messaged me and was like, I think you would be amazing on Love Island. And I'm like, literally about to go on. I'm like, haha, you'll see me on your tv. Like, okay, girl, I love you.

[Kenzie]

Yeah.

And did you get the bangs for Love island or you just got it because you were changing up your.

[Kenzie]

Because I was changing up my look. And when you're in clinicals, you have to have your hair all the way pulled back. So I was never allowed to have like hair pieces, so I did that. And then I was like, what else am I going to do with the break? And I'm like, I've always wanted tits, so I'm like, I'm going to buy boobs. And that's what I did with my time off. So when I came back to nursing

school, they were like.

They were like, who is this?

And it was not for the show or anything. Like, it was just because, you know, like, growing up, you're like, what do you want? You want to be. You want boobs as a woman? Like, I wanted to feel like a woman. Okay. I got like 4, 400cc.

And were you a relationship girl before Love Island?

[Kenzie]

I was, but I got my heart broken like three one big time. And then for two years I was single and I did not talk or text in anyone. Like, no one.

Okay, well, yeah, I remember you were like, I haven't had sex in a year and a half before you entered the villa. Was this by choice? Like, how did you feel about being celibate?

[Kenzie]

It was definitely by choice because for I, it was four for a while, and it was only, like, my boyfriends, like, the guys that I had very seriously talked to. And then for a year, I was like, I. For. It was three guys, three more guys. And I. It made me just feel like I needed that connection. I need that connection with someone. And you're saying you had slept with

only four men in your life?

[Kenzie]

Yes. And then a year I slept with three. Okay. Like, and it just made me feel kind of icky. I was just like, I like to be a relationship girl. So I stopped. And because I wasn't talking to anyone, I wasn't gonna do it. And then I'm like, well, I'm going on love island. Like, I'll just hopefully find my man there.

I feel like so many women are going to be watching this. Like, actually, like, we. I fudge with you because you're just so honest. Like, most. I think most women are, like, scared to even be, like, what's your body count? How many people you slept with? Because there's so many, like, weird negative connotations. And you're like, oh, so four then three that love it.

Let's first start with the roster thing. Yes. You came in, you said, I'm not a roster girl. I can only talk to one guy. Then you end up being one of the only people that had a roster. Obviously. Now, in hindsight, what are some things that you wish that you had known about managing a roster? Kenzie?

[Kenzie]

Yeah. I have no idea how to manage a roster at all. I think it's pretty obvious and clear, but everyone's surprised that I've never had a roster. It's just like, I was going on the show to find my best connection, and that's what I was there for.

[Alex Cooper]

But do you think now that you have a better idea of how to manage your roster? You're like, I'm never doing that again.

[Kenzie]

I don't think I ever want to do that again. But, like, I don't know. It was fun. It was like, the best experience experience ever. But, yeah, like, even on Snapchat, like, I've never done that. I never could text or talk to any more than one guy and I never understood how. How other people could do that.

It's a full time job.

[Kenzie]

It is definitely a full time job. Like, I. And how much. How much is a girl allowed to talk about with another guy? I am like, can I not talk about my family?

I know we're gonna get into that because it was interesting seeing, like, you got backlash for certain things. And that's why I was wondering, like, what was your understanding of Love island etiquette when you first got in there of, like, how you're allowed to move with multiple connections?

[Kenzie]

Honestly, I didn't know any, like, Love island etiquette. I'm just more just, like, I'm just gonna be me, have a connection, see if we connect really good. I did want to be upfront, honest every single time, like, and I tried. The only thing I didn't say was that one kiss with Corbin, and I do regret that because I feel like that really led Caleb on in a sense.

Also, I don't know if you've seen this online, but so many people are, like, the way that Kenzie would have thrived of on Love Island UK this season, because everyone on this season of Love Island UK is moving like a Kenzie.

Oh, you would have it. You would fit right in. Kenzie, do you think the, like, closed off somewhat? You know, like, playing it safe mindset hindered any of your other castmates experiences? Because obviously, you moved a lot different than a lot of other people.

Yeah, I moved a lot different than them. But also, I feel like the people that came in, they were able to connect with them immediately. It just so happened to be that my person came in later and at Casa, but I don't fault them for it. If you like someone, you like someone, you want to stay, you want to stay with them. I just. I. My person just didn't come in too later.

Yeah. I was like, just telling myself, you know, I love who I am. I'm in love with myself, and whatever guy is here, like, he's to love that too, but it just wasn't. Wasn't going to be him, and that's okay.

And prior to the villa, just like in normal life, how would you describe your confidence and your self esteem?

[Kenzie]

I. I do eft tapping. Like, I'm always like, I'm a goddess. I love myself. Like, I pray and, like, pray that he God gives me, like, all that love and support. And I just. That's how I feel about myself now. And it hasn't always been like that. I went through really hard times when I was broken up with, and I was so down on myself. But you can pick yourself back up, like, with all the positive energy, like, it's just all. It's all you.

And I think we saw that truly, like, your confidence. As much as you kept getting kind of like, oh, this isn't working, or this isn't working, you kept it moving in a way that was really refreshing to see that you didn't get too down on yourself. Yeah. I feel like naturally it does make you compare yourself. It made me feel, like, not as beautiful, you know, to a point. It did suck because I was thinking that I was gonna have like, a Aaron and Kayla situation where I just met my person and seeing that happen right in front of me, and then, you know, like, Zach bringing Kada back right away. And then they're in the bed next to me and they're, like, making out and stuff. And then I only just laid on his shoulder like he didn't want to cuddle or anything. I'm like, yeah, it definitely made me feel a certain type of way.

Outside of the villa, would you say, though, that you're someone who has a good read on guys?

I was really excited to get into bed that night. Of course, I find him very attractive. We had great conversations, but I did miss being with him, being in a connection with him. No. The connection that we had, I. He even said it too. Like, our chemistry was crazy, but there was definitely sexual chemistry. We'd never done any of that. I mean, I loved it. They're girls girls. They're supporting me and they always support me. I love them so much for doing that. They knew I was kind of talking about a cowboy wanting a cowboy to come in. But also, that was right before I had A connection with Corbin. I'm like, can you please bring in, like, a guy for me? And then I'm like, oh, I'm kind of settled down now. But also seeing Caleb, I was like, I mean, he's fine. He's fine. And then he. The first thing he did was he came up, and when he kissed me, he's like, hey, Kenzie. And I was like, like, stop. I'm dead. Okay, we.

Have you dated a cowboy before?

[Kenzie]

Yeah, kind of like, if you guys ever heard about Georgia Southern, that was, like, the guy that I was really in love with, and he was kind of like a cowboy. He had boots and stuff like that.

[Kenzie]

Yeah. You were hot sometimes. Yeah.

So we were really excited when Caleb came in, but again, you were a little torn. But I do have something now with Corbin. Yeah, Something I want your take on that. But then she was also the first person to pull Caleb for a chat.

What do you think was going on there? What were her intentions?

[Kenzie]

I think her intentions were good. She was my best friend. She knew I was wanting a. A cowboy to come in. I don't know if, like, I know she did really, really like sincere, but I don't know if she kind of also liked Corbin maybe a little bit. And both can be true. So.

[Alex Cooper]

Yeah, I was gonna say. Can you clarify? Because people online thought it was a bit hypocritical when you got upset at Melanie when she later then went and pulled Corbin.

[Kenzie]

Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

Can you talk more about that situation? Your perspective, I would love. Okay, tell me.

[Kenzie]

When we had that kissing challenge, when she went back and forth to both of them, I had a conversation. I was like, so did you know that you were kissing him? And she said she had no idea she was kissing Corbin or sincere or who was who. And to me, I told her that was really hard for me to believe because you've been kissing sincere for how long? And. And Corbin's a lot bigger.

[Alex Cooper]

Yes.

[Kenzie]

You know, but we talked about that, and then she told me that. That she was not into Corbin, that Corbin was her type to a T, but she's very much into Sincere. She said, you have nothing to worry about not pursuing him. I'm not gonna talk to him. Like, we're good. So then the next day, we're, like, pulling and, you know, like, beaching, whatever, and then she pulls Corbin for a chat to talk to him. And then I didn't get to talk to her until later that night, and I pulled her for a chat, and I was like, hey, I'm just confused because 20. Not even 24 hours ago, like, last night, you told me that you weren't going to talk to him, that you weren't pursuing him. So I'm like, I. There's a disconnect there. I'm confused. And she said, yeah, well, that was yesterday. Like, me and sincere are not good anymore, so I am going to pursue Corbin. And so that's why I was so upset, because I just felt. I felt blindsided, and I felt like if she was interested, just say, you know, I am interested in Sincere, but also, I do still want to kind of chat with Corbin, and I would have been cool with that. It would have been. It would have been different.

I don't think we saw that initial conversation between you and Melanie for being like, I'm not interested in Corbin. Like, me and sincere are good. So all we saw was me getting

[Kenzie]

upset, you getting upset, which makes total sense. Like, I understand why everyone's going crazy, because it is, like, double standard kind of thing. Like, but I wouldn't have been upset, but she was my best friend in there.

[Alex Cooper]

Yeah.

[Kenzie]

So.

And she had approached you saying, I'm not gonna go for that.

[Kenzie]

Yes.

[Alex Cooper]

And then her and Sincere get in a fight, and then she's going for Corbin. And I'm sure to you it kind of felt like, wait, hold on now. Is this just, like.

Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

To make. Since you're jealous or whatever, because I actually feel like I have a real connection with this person.

[Kenzie]

Yeah. And I'm, like, getting finger blasted right before that. So it's like I was. I was kind of liking him to

a point, and his finger blasted the same as French fries.

[Kenzie]

I was. I was. Was. I was having fun. It's French fry.

I feel like you're having fun every single night, Kenzie.

I mean, I'm there. I'm at Love island for the summer. What are we doing? What's going on?

Holy shit. It did seem like you and Melanie had a few ups and downs this past season. What were some other moments when you look back that kind of, like, tested your friendship?

[Kenzie]

It was definitely that. That. And then right after that, Seoul came in, and Sincere, they had a thing going, and Seoul was very much like, she just felt isolated in there. I don't want to, like, speak for her, but she. She was having a hard time. She was crying a lot, and I just wanted to be there for her. So I started pulling her for chats and I just said, hey, I want to let you know you have a friend in here and I'm here for you. And I think she's beautiful and amazing person, but also at the same time, you could. There's only so many hours in a day. You can only have so many chats with so many people. And Melanie was pulling Trinity and Anaya more often, so I could only as well talk to so many people as Melanie also. So it just so happened we didn't have as much time together. But of course I wanted to be there for her as a friend. So that's why I was so emotional later when we had that conversation and she was talking about that.

Right. Did you feel like there was an unsaid dynamic in the villa, that if you were. Were friends with Soul, you were kind of also then going against Melanie to some degree?

[Kenzie]

Yeah, I don't agree with that. I like to, like, I was just trying to be there for someone who needed someone. And I think Soul's an amazing person. I think Melanie's an amazing person. But Melanie had a ton of support already in the villa where I just saw Soul, and I just wanted to comfort her and be there for her.

[Alex Cooper]

Did it feel like Sol was being treated fairly in the villa?

[Kenzie]

I think that it was really hard for her to come in when she did. I mean, she's a bombshell. She really bombed. I. I don't know. I. I did feel for her on a couple of days, but I think she ended up, like, getting along with people, like, after that. But just I felt for her.

[Alex Cooper]

Yeah. Where do you and Melanie stand now?

[Kenzie]

Well, right before I left, I don't know if they showed this because I haven't seen it, but she pulled me for a chat. Chat, and we talked like we're really great friends. I love her. Since the day before I walked out. I remember holding her hand right before the door opened, and she's like, don't worry. They're just as nervous as you. And like, she was my comfort and she'd had been that comfort. I know we went through our ups and downs, but I love her down and I'll always support her. Like, she is the best. The physical attraction was definitely there. After we had a kiss, I was very much into him.

And once you guys had that first kiss, were you still more into Corbin or Caleb?

[Kenzie]

Yeah. So after that first kiss, I. I still had more of a connection with Corbin on different levels other than just, like, attraction and just, like, one initial, like, I. I fall in love by someone speaking to me, like, in my ears. I have to have time with you. So on that initial chat with Caleb, he was like, who do you like more, me or Corbin? And I was just like, I'm like, oh, my God. I have a really great connection with Corbin. And I told him I still wanted to pursue that with him and that I was very unsure. But I. I, Corbin. And I said, I'm very interested in also getting to know you.

So this was essentially the first love triangle you experienced, not only in the villa, but in your life. You said, I'm a one person kind of girl. I'm confused as right now. What do you think was the most difficult part of managing these two connections at once?

[Kenzie]

Probably just like, stepping on other people's toes in the villa. There's other girls there that also want to explore them as well. Not knowing, like. Like what I can and can't say to either of them. It's like, it's kind of weird. I grew up watching the Bachelor, like. Like what? He says, I love you to how many? Three girls. And I can't talk about my family. It's kind of wild. Like, I'm on a Love island dating show. Am I supposed to be having conversations with other guys? I don't know. Like, it. It's confusing and it's so hard because I'm like, I'll be kissing Caleb, and yeah, it's a great kiss, but I have a great connection with this other guy and that's why it was so hard for me. I'm like. Like, my mind can't compute. I'm like, well, it is.

So I agree with you, Kenzie, because what's so weird is I'm also watching UK right now and, like, everyone's talking about being at home. Like, everyone's like, this is what it would be, and this is my mom. And they're saying that to most of their connections. So I also feel like a lot of it is dependent on the cast per season. Kind of shapes the etiquette around what's appropriate.

[Kenzie]

Yeah. Because, like, the season right before that was nothing like this season.

[Alex Cooper]

Nothing, Nothing. So it is interesting that, like, you were kind of moving what you thought was right, and then people would be like, what do you mean? You talked about your family and you're like, oh, yeah.

[Kenzie]

Everyone was actually like, maybe just don't do that. And I was like, okay, but, like, I was just trying to talk about things outside of here that. To see if it would work outside of here because it was real for me. And that's. That's why I was trying to see what our lives work outside of here.

[Alex Cooper]

I think that makes so much sense. Also hearing it even more from you now because you're like, like, if we're going to actually work, we need to somewhat talk about our circumstances outside of here. We're not going to be in this villa forever.

[Kenzie]

Why are we chatting about everyone else's couple in here? How is that going to bring me any closer to you? It's not.

[Alex Cooper]

Okay. The Internet then was like, you know what? As America, we're deciding to break Corbin and Kenzie up, and we're going to put her in a couple with Caleb. And I think America, at first, by the time the voting was happening, really thought, like, she should try with Caleb.

[Kenzie]

Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

And then I think they were like, like, our life. Wait. It feels like she actually really likes Corbin. We just did her dirty. And I remember seeing everyone online being like, wait, did we just fully Kenzie over by voting her into a different couple? In hindsight, do you think that up your experience a little bit because it really put pressure on you to give Caleb an even bigger shot than maybe you were going to intend to.

[Kenzie]

I don't think it like me over in a way, because I was also interested in Caleb, and I like that we got that chance to be together and talk and see how. How it would go. But I was still feeling Corbin a lot, and I missed being in a connection with him, and I wasn't understanding why Corbin, like, we were very kissy and touchy at the pool and all of this. And then right when he was coupled out with Melanie, he's like, let's not do any of that. And so I was very much confused. And then, like, the night on the dock, I was like, I want to kiss you. And so it felt so weird. And then Caleb was also, like, watching me. Me out in the dog, which I was like, that was a lot. And we didn't even kiss. And then, like, the whole house blew up.

[Alex Cooper]

No, no, we know you didn't kiss, but the looking from the kitchen, we're getting there. We. And to clarify, would you have chosen to say in a couple with Corbin had it been your choice for the recoupling?

[Kenzie]

I probably would have stayed with Corbin. Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

Okay, let's talk about the doc moment, because you're on the dock, you tell Corbin, I want to kiss you. He's like, oh, like, I don't know if we should be doing that right now because we're both a new couple.

[Kenzie]

Yeah. He said he wanted to stay, like, true to Melanie. Which is, which is. It's nice. Like, that is. And she's my friend, so I understand. But like, at the same time, how are you supposed to go from kissing, making out, doing things in bed to all of a sudden nothing?

[Alex Cooper]

That's what I think was confusing about this year because it was like, like, so are you closed off? Like, or. Or now you're just in? Because again, I'm watching UK just comparing it and it's like the minute that they flip couples, then they're still making out with the other person they're talking to.

[Kenzie]

Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

It's just having some respect and over communicating.

[Kenzie]

Yeah. And just communicating with them.

[Alex Cooper]

Because you guys didn't kiss and you're saying obviously there was this moment where you're like, what are we doing? Do you think at all that the separation and the forbiddenness in a way made you even more pulled toward?

[Kenzie]

I mean, I think that is 100 probably true. Like you always want what you can't have kind of thing. Yeah.

[Alex Cooper]

Caleb was convinced you guys kissed and he started telling everyone that you guys had kissed and you went and reassured him that literally never happened. You did seem really frustrated and even upset when this accusation kind of started and you said it's hard cuz I feel like I'm supposed to be exploring both connections when I am feeling like I kind of can't. Did you. You feel in any way like this was hindering your experience and you couldn't be. You almost like didn't want to be honest in a way. Yeah.

[Kenzie]

It did make me like, be like, can I even be honest with him? Because I felt like he would probably take some steps back. And all of our conversations right before the one like that they showed on movie night, that was our best conversation and that was. That was the deepest we had gotten. And I wish it was like that the whole time because when he got back from casa, he's like, he even told me he. We were playing volleyball together. And he's like, all the guys are saying I really changed and came out of my shell and like, I am who I am, like. And I'm like, I wish it was like that the whole time because it just, it. It wasn't.

[Alex Cooper]

You know, shortly after this, you end up kissing Corbin and you did feel like you needed to keep a secret. What was your main reasoning behind that?

[Kenzie]

I Didn't want the whole house to blow up, and neither did he. Melanie was sleeping in Soul Ties, and I think that it was because she would hear that we kissed and made her feel weird, so she would sleep in Soul Ties. She also missed Sincere. And then Caleb, it was like, you know, he was watching me already at the dock. He didn't want us to kiss, and I was telling him the whole time that I still wanted to pursue Corbin. So I. I was communicating with him. So I just didn't understand, but I didn't want him to take steps back because I just wanted to move forward. If we kept. Kept talking about that would just be going in circles, just talking about me and Corbin with him all the time.

[Alex Cooper]

Why do you think Caleb was not exploring any other connections when you were so clear that you wanted to explore multiple.

[Kenzie]

I don't know why he didn't explore other connections, because I was telling him, I'm exploring. Please explore. I just think that he was coming in for me, and that's awesome. I did say I want a guy that's all about me, so maybe he just thought. Thought that it would have worked.

[Alex Cooper]

Okay, let's clarify that. Movie night moment. You just said movie night. We, as viewers, saw more context that we didn't originally see. The next morning, after your secret kiss with Corbin, you had a chat with Caleb where you told him, I just want to be more focused on you and growing our connection and getting deeper, because that's the only way we're going to get closer. I think that outside of this, our lives would collide very easily. And then you and Caleb can kissed. Talk to me more about the intentions of that conversation, especially after what we saw is that came right after you kissed Corbin and kept that a secret the night before.

[Kenzie]

Yeah, I did. Just. I had no idea there would be a recoupling that night. And I did still very much want to pursue Caleb and I after we had that conversation. That was at the ending of it. And I'm like. I'm like, wow. I'm actually getting this energy from him that I had not gotten. So I did. I was like, like, I was like, I'm. I'm feeling him, like, a lot more than I had been for the past couple days. And then right after that chat, it was like. It literally was, like, recoupling. And then it. It was me taking a couple of minutes being like, who do I like more? And it. My heart was still with Corbin. It's just. I wasn't able to tell him that. And even after I. I talked to him after the recoupling and I was like, I want you to know, like, none of that was fake. It was all genuine. I. I do still have feelings for you. And he just said he was like, well, that doesn't matter, I guess.

[Alex Cooper]

Like, what mistakes do you think you made within that dynamic?

[Kenzie]

I think I. I told him that I did just want to, like, pursue him and talk to him, which I definitely shouldn't have said. Like, that was, like, that's not fair to him at all. And it made him think that I was going to pick him that night, which I feel awful for, cuz he wrote the sweetest letter to me. And it broke my heart, like, to be standing there in front of the mailboxes and see how it went down and just, like, everything.

[Alex Cooper]

Well, now he's In Vegas, like, DJing and, like, hanging with Harry. Like, he's fine. He's fine. He's in that next elimination round where you and Corbin did recouple with the mailbox challenge. Solon. Gabe went home, but Corbin let you know that your name had been considered for elimination. And when you confronted the boys, Casey told you that the reason you are considered is because of you kind of giving similar reasons to Gabe. You seemed upset by that comparison. You said, I have been as lustful. Like, Gabe has been moving. How do you think you and Gabe moved differently in the villa?

[Kenzie]

I think Gabe's an awesome person, but he likes to kiss more and, you know, get into it faster. And I do tend to move a little bit slower than him. And I don't feel like any of my connections were lustful. It was based on actual communication and talking. Like, me and Corbin. I wasn't fully into him until after having a conversation with him, him, me and Caleb. It took a minute for me to be like, oh, I actually, I kind of like him. He's cool.

So, yeah, that was such a big conversation in the villa this year of, like, lustfulness. Like, what is the definition of lustful in the villa?

[Kenzie]

What did you expect to be Corbin's experience when you realized he had left before you saw the live stream?

[Kenzie]

I thought he definitely wouldn't hold back. I didn't think he would. I think he would have explored, but I thought our connection was really good. So I was. I was feeling good about our connection in a way. Yeah. Yeah.

We loved the live stream as viewers. We were like, oh, hold these men accountable. Dude, you got yourself in another pickle, because basically, you eventually had the opportunity to chat with Gaul. The vibe was there. You two kissed pretty soon after you told Dylan this and you admitted this to him. But I do think it's important to clarify. You had told Dylan and basically every single person in the villa that you wanted to explore Gaul and see if anything was there, and there was no dishonesty this time. There was nothing of that sort. And then when you told him, Dylan started to cry. What was your reaction to him getting so upset, even though you had been so honest?

Yeah, I think that me and Dylan just had an amazing day that day, and we got really deep in the conversation, so I don't. I don't fault him for. His feelings were so valid. I was wanting to have that conversation with golf days before it happened, but we got so close, and seeing him emotional like that, I was like, wow, this guy actually cares about me. I was just in a relationship a week before with Corbin where he flipped on a dime. So it didn't. I. I didn't know if this was real for anyone else. Like, it was for me. And then that helped me let down my guard with him, because I was like, damn, he cares about me. Yeah, dude.

How did you feel when you saw that? All of America thought that he was giving fake tears.

[Kenzie]

I know. That actually crushed my heart. It really, really did crush my heart, because I don't think anything about him is fake at all. And even since we got off, like, the first thing I said to him was like, do you still like me? And he's like, yeah, of course. Like, I was honestly scared. And then in our hotel room, we've basically been in the hideaway, like, every single day. And he is exactly the same as he is off camera. And even his friend Brandon said that, and that helped so much on Family Day when he. I was like, oh, my gosh. Like, finally, like, this guy's true. He's real. He's not doing it for the cameras. What was going through your head when you had to watch this in front of all of your peers?

Oh, my God. I was like. Like, no, literally, I was like, this is about to be so. But honestly, seeing it, I was like, okay, that was. That was shitty of me, and I shouldn't have gone about it and said certain words that I did, and I could see more of why Caleb felt so let on. And it. It did make me feel awful. And I just. Well, I think it was refreshing because you took accountability right away. But I think something that rubbed people the wrong way was it felt like Dylan was kind of just, like, adding on to the fire because he was like, I just felt like I watched the entirety of last night on repeat. What was confusing is, from what we understood, the Casa boys, like, saw a lot of this season prior to them coming in. So he was fully aware of how you had been moving in the dynamic with Caleb and Corbin. What. How did it feel to kind of have your character be questioned by someone you were in a relationship with?

[Kenzie]

Yeah, definitely. It. Yeah, it didn't feel good. I had conversations with him, and I was like, that hurt that you did jump in on that. But at the same time, it was in front of his face. Face. More like, that was just in front of my face, and I could see how I was doing that. It's different. I feel like when you're just watching it. And also, I knew he was scared because he doesn't want me to do that to him. And I probably would feel the same way if I was watching it on

the other side and he kept harping on it. But I do think now, again, I think we all, as viewers have to recognize there's such heightened emotions in this villa, and there's so much going into it. That it's. It's like seeing it in 4K. Yeah, it's gonna cause a lot of emotions.

The girls in the villa really let you know they did not approve of how you were moving. Kada went as far to say it's giving Sincere. What did it feel like to hear?

[Kenzie]

That definitely hurt, but I. I listen to them. Like, I hear them out. And if that's how everyone was seeing it, then I'm gonna take it with a grain of salt. But, yeah, it hurt. I was very emotional, crying in the shower a lot, like, just feeling hurt. Jaden was the only one that came up to me and was like, I don't think you did anything wrong, babe. And I. I lost her later during the compatibility challenge, and that sucked. And then, like, Jen, she tells me straight up how she feels, but she always supported me. And, yeah, it was hard.

Aside from the one secret kiss you had, you were so upfront with Caleb Club Sincere was repeatedly lying to Melanie and essentially everyone in the villa and casa more through his entire experience. What are some examples that you can give that highlights how different your situation was to Sincere's?

Yeah, I feel like he did lie a good bit to not only Melanie, but, like, some other girls and his guy friends. Hence why Corbin picked him in, like, the challenge too. I never called them any names like, fake promises, and I tried to be as open as possible to who I was talking to. And I know he said something about, like, when he was in Casa about, like, it was a test for him a little bit, which I don't ever feel like any of my connections were at me testing another connection with someone else. It was just me seeing if we could. Could connect on that level. There was never any who's better kind of thing.

Who, you know, quickly after movie night, we saw a lot of the women in the villa support Sincere. Even being like, I'm team Sincere, like, fully supporting him even after watching him on 4K. Why do you think the girls were holding you to a different standard?

I don't know why the girls were holding me to a different standard than Sincere. It's especially like, after getting out, it does feel, like, sexist almost, because I'm like, I'm not a male, and it's like, I can't move like them, maybe. And I don't know. Yeah, it felt. Is there any moment that comes to mind from your Love island experience where you felt like. Like you were being judged for exploring completely unfairly considered what the men were doing in the villa, like another double standard that you can think of?

Probably just like my love triangles and just getting on and me feeling like I couldn't talk. I wasn't allowed to talk to two people at once. Talk like it just made no sense in my mind. I'm like, where are we right now? I'm. I'm very confused and feeling like I was just getting on over and over for exploring when no one was closed off. So it's like that's.

I want to do that and then continue nursing classes.
