Andrew Morales
I told him, I let him look at me. Punched him right in the face. Nastiest black guy he's ever had in his life. And he said to himself, your parents
Podcast Host
beat your ass, like what would happen?
Andrew Morales
Like, stop eating. But really it means stop eating.
Podcast Host
Do you think that Clav might have shot that gator because you were low key mogging him?
Andrew Morales
Maybe the gator was mocking us and that's why we both did it. Let me wipe my ass with it. Just paint it on them so I can save my career, bro. I'm sorry. You're 40 years old, living at your parents house, not bottle girls. Gotta be a superstar, bro. Work harder.
Podcast Host
Andrew Morales, the Cuban Tarzan from Miami. Out here in la, welcome to the west side.
Andrew Morales
Thank you very much. I appreciate it. It's a different world.
Podcast Host
This is the Creators Inc. Podcast. I try to interview the most viral content creators on the planet, hoping the people at home might hear something from you that they can apply to their own content. So we make it about them. Because eventually you want it to be about you, right? Absolutely. All right, I want, I want to hear your story. Son of Cuban immigrants, grew up in Miami. What was, what was life like for you growing up? What's kind of family mentality? Give me a little bit of a big picture of what you hope to accomplish financially and why, from being a content creator, where you're at financially, and then we'll get into it. I got some questions I want to ask you.
Andrew Morales
Absolutely, absolutely. First of all, I really appreciate you having me here. It's a pleasure being A. S. Son of two Cuban immigrants. I have a lot of pressure on my back. I'm also the youngest of four siblings. So I'm the last shot here.
Podcast Host
Right.
Andrew Morales
If the first three couldn't get it done right, then it's definitely me. And that's all the pressure comes down to. So I grew up very firm, very firm household. There was no sneaking out, there was curfew, there was no drugs, no alcohol, nothing inside the house. Even now, present day, I never dabble into any substances. I'm also very firm on my schedule. I start my day at 6 o' clock in the morning every single day. Nothing changes with that. And I just have a drive for success that not a lot of people have. In high school, I was a National Honor Society. I was a student athlete. I never received anything below a B in any class. I was in honors college at FGC as well. And this is something that I all had to juggle while having parents that couldn't really help Me with homework because one, their English wasn't too well or they had no experience. None of them went to college. And high school back then was just, you show up, you pass.
Podcast Host
What was. What sports did you play in high school?
Andrew Morales
I played baseball.
Podcast Host
Got it?
Andrew Morales
Yes, sir. I was a catcher.
Podcast Host
Nice.
Andrew Morales
Yeah. Loved it, Loved it. And then I just had a coach that just absolutely used me for every game. Burnt out my knees, my elbows started going. Knees, shoulders. Already had a shoulder reconstruction. And you're only 22 and I'm only 22.
Podcast Host
You like Cuban food?
Andrew Morales
I love.
Podcast Host
You like a Cuban sandwich, a Cuban coffee. Like, what is Cuban food?
Andrew Morales
Cuban food. When I think Cuban food, I think of pulled pork on a nice Cuban tostada bread and just taking a bite and just literally just listening to the music, the smells, smells of the cigar in the background, you know, the sounds of the dominoes hitting the table. That is just something that is just an incredible experience and is just home to me. Those sounds, those smells, the taste, all of it.
Podcast Host
You've been to Havana in your lifetime?
Andrew Morales
No, I want to go to Cuba. I want to be the first person to actually live stream Cuba.
Podcast Host
Wow. You know, I saw Nick Shirley recently went to Cuba. You saw?
Andrew Morales
I did, I did. He put a lot of fear into it. So yeah, honestly, it just makes me want to do it even more. I feel like it definitely takes a different breed. I think he didn't have, you know, enough of the backbone to really stick it through because he didn't have the willpower, the history behind it himself. Right. I'm going there to really document the truth. A lot of people show that, you know, Cuba is. Is great. You know, there's this side, this. This side. That's just the Taurus part. So I really want to get in there with the families, showcase, the culture show, showcase what's going behind the scenes. And there's actually a zoo in Cuba. They just had a bunch of tiger cubs or lion cubs just give birth on the premises. And it's all volunteers, no money being made, no access to the public, nothing at all. And I do have a connect to go inside of there.
Podcast Host
I also think just because like Nick Shirley is clearly like a white like journalist looking who's known for exposing corruption and things like that.
Andrew Morales
Yeah.
Podcast Host
That, you know, that regime is probably very not does not want him around. And you of Cuban descent and probably going more to showcase the country.
Andrew Morales
And I have been on their news a few times.
Podcast Host
So now to go to Cuban. Can. Can you go to Cuba on your passport or do you have to have permission? How do you get.
Andrew Morales
So I have an American passport. Right. So there is a few hurdles that you have to run through, especially if you want to document it. It does count as journalism. So I actually partnered with somebody in the motocross scene called the Cuban Missile Ivan. And we're actually able to do a non. A non profit event inside of Cuba based off of motocross. And that's how we could get inside of Cuba. And then from there, that's where people are either going to back out or they're going to document it. Like me.
Podcast Host
Do they run flights daily from Miami to Havana or you have to charter?
Andrew Morales
I don't know if they run flights daily, but I definitely will charter just to ease my way into it just a little bit easier. Yeah, for sure. Because it's going to be close flight from.
Podcast Host
From.
Andrew Morales
It is a very close flight.
Podcast Host
20 minutes, half an hour, probably.
Andrew Morales
Half an hour.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Andrew Morales
Half an hour. Yeah.
Podcast Host
Cool. All right, cool. Let's get into the meat of this.
Andrew Morales
Let's do it.
Podcast Host
I guess I knew you without knowing it was you because Clav got in trouble for shooting a dead alligator. And I guess you were sitting next to him and you caught a lot of heat for that. I mean, a. I just want to hear about, like, that and like, what went down and what you learned from Clav. I mean, I feel like right now in this world, it's the streamers and the only fans, people who are moving the needle. So I want to talk about streaming a lot, but, like, kind of break that down for me. Like, just what that was like for you. I mean, was that. Did you get through that? Kind of. Was that water off your back? Was it stress? Was it stressful? Were your parents putting like the fear of God into you during that time? Like, tell me the whole story and maybe back up just a little bit before we get there and kind of talk about how you got into wildlife content. I mean, I like, I assume, like, you didn't start chasing iguanas from day one on Instagram. You were probably a good looking fitness type influencer. And then it you figured out you got views from certain things, but take us through that journey.
Andrew Morales
So as a young kid, I used to really just hound in the YouTube videos and watch all these fishermen, all these sportsmen doing what I love and getting paid from it. And I thought, there just has to be a way I could do this. So my neighbor was actually a gentleman named Franklin Sieber. 8 million on YouTube. Raw fishing, crazy fishing creator and just Seeing all these people around me in my hometown. And I was born in Hialeah, Florida. My.
Podcast Host
When you say doing what you love, though, like, as a kid, you wanted to be out in the swamps, like, oh, yeah, frogs and fun fact gators and all that shit. Yeah.
Andrew Morales
I never owned a console in my life. I never had a PS3, PS4, whatever. How do we. Maybe to watch a movie and that's it. I've never played video games. I've never had a PC. I just bought my first PC and that's to stream and make more money off the casino deals, you know. And before that, never was online. I literally don't even know how to use Discord. It's very hard. I'm just an outside guy. I love it. I love it outside. I would prefer to be outside in the swamp, you know, getting a sunburn, getting eaten by mosquitoes than sitting in a chair, having neck pain and just looking at a screen all day. There's just no way I could do that.
Podcast Host
But what do you love about like, like, like, when did you start with reptiles as a kid?
Andrew Morales
So I actually filmed YouTube videos on my own. My parents bought me my first camera. My mom would actually drive me around to fishing spots, hold the camera for me, literally learn how to edit with me on imovie.
Podcast Host
Shout out, Mom.
Andrew Morales
Yeah, shout out, Mom. I would definitely would not be here if it wasn't for my mom and my dad. My dad is the person that got me outdoors in the first place. And at a very young age, I just surpassed them in the knowledge. I was just consuming so much knowledge and educational videos on wildlife that I was able to educate myself and go out there and do it on my own. And my mom would drive me around, take me to these spots, and we would go ahead and go looking for these animals. So I actually got bullied in high school for making the videos. They thought it was cringy. They thought it was corny. I was also kind of nerdy because I was in National Honor Society. Yeah, I played sports. That was the only thing saving me. But I was also a late bloomer. I was always the youngest in my class. I graduated high school at 17, you know, and I was always the youngest, the. The late bloomer, the smallest guy in the class, and everyone was just picking on me for it. So I stopped doing the YouTube videos. I stopped doing content creation. And I. I just had in the back of my mind the whole entire time. So I would continue fishing. I continue catching animals. Once after my first year of college, I Left college and I was like, okay, there's some. I have to do something. My family does real estate development, and that's what I went into. I hated it. They had me working, pouring the concrete, sweeping houses, learning how to patch drywall, all this. It sucked. There was no way I was going to do this for $20 an hour. And then one day, I just posted a video of taking some people out to go, honey iguanas. And it went viral. And I was like, okay, you know, maybe let me just post another one tomorrow. Post another one went viral on Instagram or on Instagram. So I said, you know what? I got to do this every single day if I want this to work.
Podcast Host
How old are you when this. You're posting this iguana video?
Andrew Morales
So I started a year. I started 13 months ago.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Holy shit.
Andrew Morales
Yeah. Just started 13 months ago. And I've been able to take it over because I've been consistent and I carry that conviction.
Podcast Host
Is this the video where the branch falls off the tree?
Andrew Morales
No. So this is the video where two iguanas jumped out of my hands at a public pool. And I was jumping in the pool, grabbing them. There was a snake in the background that I don't know how. People were screaming as absolute chaos. I actually titled that video Pool Mayhem. And that was just crazy. That video did over 70 million views. Worldstar paid me to put it on their platform, and that really was just the catapult to success. So one thing I didn't have was a lot of videos for those people. Those new followers to look at on my page only had two, you know, and. And they didn't know what I was about. They just thought I was a regular person. It was Morales, underscore, Andrew one. That was my. That was my username. They didn't know who I was or what I was about. So I saw that is my niche. It's a very saturated niche to do girl content, do the things like that. And I wanted to be unique. I wanted to stand out. And one thing I want, I always told myself, was I was not going to be a sellout and I was going to stick to my. My morals and principles, which get tested every day. Now, as I've advanced, as you can see, I got in trouble with Clive and things like that. So once I posted that video, I had to post two times a day. Now I need those people to go to my page and see that I'm consistent. Those followers are seeing new things. So then I quit my job. I said, there's no way I could do this anymore.
Podcast Host
What were you doing for work?
Andrew Morales
I was actually a veterinary assistant.
Podcast Host
Okay, cool.
Andrew Morales
Yeah, I specialize in. In dentistry. Wow. So I was cleaning a dog's teeth and everything.
Podcast Host
Holy.
Andrew Morales
Yeah. Gingivitis. Nasty. It was disgusting. And I told him, I said, hey, I'm quitting. I'm not making money on social.
Podcast Host
It must have felt good when you were scraping the plaque off a dog's tooth.
Andrew Morales
Oh, it was great. And then smelling the breath. Oh, yeah, great. Loved it. And when it sprays back at you, you know you're in the right profession for $20 an hour. So the video went viral. I started posting two times a day. I know that you have to be consistent in anything you want. So then it went from two times a day to three times a day. And then I started reaching out to companies. I. Even today, I DM50 companies a day. I try to DM50 companies now it's like 20 to 15 companies. I DM every single day. I have no manager. I've been doing it all myself.
Podcast Host
Put the people on game. So when you're reaching out to a company or a brand, what's. What's a way that actually makes it feel personal and seen and not just like. Because you know that 75 other thirsty Instagram people are like, what makes me stick out?
Andrew Morales
Why me?
Podcast Host
Yeah, Not. Not just that, but how do you. How do you actually logistically approach it? Like, is this an Instagram dm?
Andrew Morales
Instagram DM and an email.
Podcast Host
So a lot of ever copy and paste. Are you always very, you know, looking at the brand and telling them exactly why you want to work with their products?
Andrew Morales
I have somewhat of a. Of a template. Right. Just, you know, hey, introducing myself, letting them know I average anywhere from 60 to 150 million views a month. I can provide analytics if needed. You know, don't just send over your analytics. And you need to give them an average because they're going to ask for those analytics. If you're averaging 20 million, 30 million views a month, they're going to see that. And you're already starting off on the wrong foot of lying to them. Brands want transparency.
Podcast Host
You know, I get a lot of brand deals.
Andrew Morales
Really?
Podcast Host
I get a lot of brand offers, really. And I probably only have like 20 million views a month, but they think a lot of other big creators look at our page absolutely like that.
Andrew Morales
And they do. One of the first I've seen your pages. The moment I started, you know, I was like, you know, I'm going to be There one day, last time I came to L. A. All these people were coming to the creators income. I'm going to do it. And this trip I finally was able to. To patch it. You know, keep.
Podcast Host
But, but, but yes, other creators on game. Just in terms of how you 6. So when, what's your conversion rate? If you hit up 50 a day, how often do you hear back?
Andrew Morales
Wow, hit a 50 a day. Maybe 10 respond to me.
Podcast Host
That's a really good. That's 20%. Yeah, that's really good.
Andrew Morales
Maybe 10 respond to me. And then after the, after they respond, you realize maybe five of them are automated messages and then the other five, you're going to keep just shooting at them, shooting at them. They don't want to pay you, they'll just send you something for free. Or they'll say, okay, do a trial for us. Seven days, you know, seven posts for free. Nothing's free.
Podcast Host
What about doing, what about doing like a fake? Like, you ever think about doing like, like a Dunkin Donuts video that feels like a brand deal, but like it's not to make other brands think like big brands?
Andrew Morales
Well, with you, what I did in the beginning was I was taking any brand deal, whether it was free product like that. It was free product, $50 a post. Even UGC videos, I would post them on my main account just to show that I am working with brands and that, you know, I want to explore, I want to expand. You want to show growth, you want to show expansion, and you want to show that you're, you're a person, right. You're not just trying to be a snobby influencer and you want to work with these brands, you want to help them grow. As much as you want to grow, they want to grow as well. So if you have that mutual partnership where you're looking out for the brand, they're going to look out for you and they're going to bless you. At times sometimes they ask for just a video and I don't want to post. And also out of goodwill because I want to earn the business.
Podcast Host
All right, let's get into the fucking good stuff.
Andrew Morales
Let's do it. Come on.
Podcast Host
Where did you meet Clive? Going to Bacara or you Just around Miami.
Andrew Morales
So I met Clive through a mutual friend named Braden Carter. Another live streamer.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
We, we met, we went to, um, Tailgate. We were just talking to girls, doing our thing. And then after that he reached out to me, he said, hey, love what you do. Let's go do some wildlife content. So we set up a whole entire live stream to go catch animals. We got in the Sprinter. He said, I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm not touching any guana. And, you know, he lives in Miami, a little 35 minute drive. I said, so what are we gonna do? He goes, we're gonna go buy some suits and mob in Miami. So, all right. I mean, this is out of niche, but whatever, we're gonna do it. I go ahead.
Podcast Host
Yeah, but it was good because his audience was seeing you doing what he was comfortable. Comfortable doing.
Andrew Morales
Exactly. So it was like a soft launch into it. And in. In that time, that one was like, strictly business. But in between, Clive is such a different person off camera. Such a good, genuine dude, and takes care of his whole entire team. Takes care of people that don't even bring value to his team, just to make sure that he's looking out for them. And that's something that I really respect him about. And a good thing that he does also is I set up that whole entire collab with him for the wildlife content. Obviously, I reached out to other people. There's a lot of moving parts. He said, hey, I know I canceled, but I don't want you to lose the connection with those people, so let's go ahead and, you know, give them something out of gratitude. So he actually tipped out all those people as well, just so that he wouldn't burn the bridge on my end. Yeah. And that's something he didn't have to do. A lot of creators don't care about that.
Podcast Host
Okay, so you guys went and did Riz Content. You picked up girls.
Andrew Morales
Yes, sir. Riz Content picked up girls. And the relationship just blossomed from there. And it was like, you know when you have that friend and you like to do bad shit together? That's what we did. We started doing bad shit together. And then later on, we went paintballing. We were with Armand. Armand choked out one of our friends, put him to sleep, and Clive was like, you know what, Tarzan? I think you should choke me out next. So that's another viral clip. A lot of people twisted the media and says he overdosed and seized. No, they cut out the beginning of the clip and it was me choking him in a rear naked choke.
Podcast Host
That was in the restaurant or a different time.
Andrew Morales
It was at a restaurant. It was at a rooftop.
Podcast Host
Wait, when he got carried out.
Andrew Morales
No, that one. That was something. I don't know. Yeah, but with me, I choked my.
Podcast Host
Was he sitting on. Was he sitting on the ground and you were sitting behind him in a chair on a couch.
Andrew Morales
That was me. Yeah. And he completely passed out. Started seizing. Honestly, you can't.
Podcast Host
You can't leave a rear naked choke on someone for too long. If you squeeze a rear naked choke for five full seconds, people are going to be seizing a little bit.
Andrew Morales
Yeah. He sees a little bit.
Podcast Host
And, bro, I went to a bad high school. I got to tell you, High school was a tough time for me. Kids used to do that in high school. Like, I would be in the lunchroom and like, kids in my grade.
Andrew Morales
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Like, it was a thing. They called it the dope fiend. You would. They would just sneak up behind you while you're eating lunch.
Andrew Morales
And that's so bad.
Podcast Host
Choke you out. And like, you.
Andrew Morales
You.
Podcast Host
Like, there was no tapping out in high school.
Andrew Morales
No.
Podcast Host
Your whole. Felt like letting go. And I got. I got. I got put to sleep a couple times. And dumb. I'm not even gonna say their names. I remember, like, they just let go and you drop and you smash your head on the.
Andrew Morales
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Floor on the gym. Fl.
Andrew Morales
Super dangerous. Super dangerous. And at the moment, I was like, okay, this is very bad. We're on live. You know, this is not good. And my friend is literally sees in front of me.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Andrew Morales
So I'm like, shaking him. I'm talking him in his ear, making sure he's not choking on a saliva. He came back, he was like, oh, that was great. He's smiling it off. Oh, my God. This guy's freaking nuts.
Podcast Host
But he's probably happy for the clip.
Andrew Morales
He was happy for the clip.
Podcast Host
He understands.
Andrew Morales
Absolutely.
Podcast Host
He.
Andrew Morales
He's a genius. A lot of people think he's just doing stuff just to be a dumbass. He honestly is a genius. And he didn't get so far into this by not being consistent and also looking at the game and seeing what's going to work.
Podcast Host
Yeah. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to ask you some questions about the game. Let's do it. But I want to hear more about the gator incident. The gator incident, absolutely.
Andrew Morales
So the gator incident has never been addressed. And it's still. It's a closed case now. Right. But we're obviously feeling the repercussions for it. We do have to do community service a few hours. Few community service hours, as well as the courses. FWC courses and fire firearms courses. Right. So we're doing all of that at the moment.
Podcast Host
You shot the gator, too, or just cleft?
Andrew Morales
I did.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
As you guys can see, in the live stream, I asked the captain, hey, there's a, there's a dead gator. As you can see, he's been dead for three weeks. They did an autopsy on it, believe it or not. And it was dead for three weeks. It was rotting, it was upside down, bloated. And I asked the captain in the live stream, hey, can we shoot this? The captain is a professional. Years on the water, he knows this management area like the back of his hand. And he's known for taking people out there to go shoot guns. So we didn't think it was illegal. He does it all the time. He does it every day. Right. So we're out there, I asked him, can we shoot it? He said yes, we shot it, didn't think anything of it. And then we go ahead and we continue shooting at just in the brush with Baby Alien and we all get pinched. Baby Alien, myself and Clive, all on probation now. And we're all over the news. The news loves to spin the narrative.
Podcast Host
Well, I mean, listen, Clive, especially in Miami is very polarizing. You know, the Jewish community does not like him from the Hail Hitler. And so like, and people, you know, you know how people feel about animals. Just watching people unload a clip into an alligator, like, obviously, obviously it's just, it's not obvious. Like, I mean you're 21 at the time. 20, 21. 22 year old kids popping guns in the Everglades. I could see how you guys feel. Like it's harmless, you're shooting a dead thing. But yeah, it just, it just turned into something.
Andrew Morales
Absolutely, I turned into something. And what it turned into was a learning experience. Absolutely. People say they're professionals does not mean you should trust them on their word. Right. Educate yourself first and honestly, as the Cuban Tarzan, someone that's in the Everglades, I should have educated myself on that before I even.
Podcast Host
Anyway, so what happened? Like, obviously when you guys get back to port, like the, the law's not there. Like how many weeks later did this turn into a summons?
Andrew Morales
So we get back to his house and he gets arrested.
Podcast Host
Oh really? That day.
Andrew Morales
And I ran up the stairs, I was like, there was no. But it was, I honestly think to this day was a setup. Because his friends told him to walk outside first, step outside. They cuffed him up and his friends were talking to the SWAT unit, but he got arrested for something completely different.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
And that's the mug shot that they use for that clip. And then FWC was notified by the trending news with that mug shot and everything. So they said, okay, it's time to press charges. So about a month later, that's when they press the charges.
Podcast Host
So what was he arrested for at that, on that day? What incident did that relate to?
Andrew Morales
I think it was something with his ex girlfriend on a live stream.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
With Jenny Poach. I don't know. I don't know. So I can't speak on it. But he was arrested. I thought, okay, I'm next. I'm out here. It's time to get out of the county. And obviously, you know, it's illegal to evade the county, obviously, when you're under, you know, prosecution. So I never did that. And then I got out of there. A month later, I get a call from my lawyer. Hey, shows that you got charged with something. Never got arrested, never got notified. Nothing in the mail.
Podcast Host
Got it.
Andrew Morales
Baby Alien didn't know either. I helped Baby Alien get an attorney for it. No one knew what was going on. Paperwork.
Podcast Host
Paperwork.
Andrew Morales
So Clive's attorneys, my attorneys got in.
Podcast Host
This is in Dade or Broward.
Andrew Morales
This is a Miami Dade. Okay. Yeah, it was Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
And the charge was not for anything about a gator, is for discharge of a firearm in a management area.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
Which that captain's known for. So how does that make any sense?
Podcast Host
But he's able to gun that. You have a license or this was.
Andrew Morales
It was my. My legally obtained firearm. Yes.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
And then he had a firearm as well.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
I believe it was one of the securities. Got it.
Podcast Host
And he probably can't be shooting his security's gun. That's the problem.
Andrew Morales
Probably. I don't know.
Podcast Host
And the guy knows Florida law.
Andrew Morales
Yeah, I don't know as much.
Podcast Host
Florida law is actually more relaxed than like, very places.
Andrew Morales
Yeah, very, very relaxed. And the captain even brought firearms also to shoot. And, you know, he just. He was just fine with everybody shooting. And he's supposed to be knowledgeable in the law, took no responsibility. He said, you know what? Let me wipe my ass with it. Just paint it on them so I can save my career. And obviously it was a learning experience. Obviously. Didn't want to be on the news for that. I've been on the news for great things prior to that, and it does ruin the reputation a little bit, but it only ruins it if you don't turn into a learning experience. Right. Any entrepreneur tell you there's no such thing as a loss?
Podcast Host
You know what I call mistakes?
Andrew Morales
What do you call them?
Podcast Host
Tuition.
Andrew Morales
Tuition.
Podcast Host
And at my age, the only mistakes is not making mistakes. There you go. So that's okay. Like I said. Listen, I can tell you're very driven. I can tell you're principle based. You're a good kid. You will look back someday and you will not trade that experience for anything. Because. And it's those experience where you really have to develop real character. For sure. You can't just like, watch a Tony Robbins YouTube and change. Like, you have to actually go through it for sure. Anyway, your parents beat your ass. Like, what? What happened?
Andrew Morales
Oh, Lord.
Podcast Host
They supported you. What?
Andrew Morales
So my. My mom was the first person to call me and say, you are an idiot. Like, this is. This is on you. Fix it. You're a grown man. Fix it. So perfect. My pops, he didn't really care too much. He said, you're. You're a grown man. You got to fix it. That's it. We all make mistakes. It's how you. They spell you in English or Spanish when she's mad. Spanish and when she's calm.
Podcast Host
English.
Andrew Morales
Okay.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Andrew Morales
So it was definitely in Spanish. She called me a few things, you know, like, I'll call me Pinga. You know, everything. You know, all that. So I. I handled it. I handled it myself. You know, obviously, I'm making my own money, I'm taking care of my own things, my own bills, and I paid my attorney.
Podcast Host
Regardless of my being a dick eater.
Andrew Morales
Yeah. Yeah, it's dick eater.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Andrew Morales
Binga is a very versatile world, especially for Cubans. So being I could be like, oh, fuck, like, binga means dick or. But I come up and like, stop eating shit. But really it means stop eating dick.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
You know, it's very versatile. Where it's good, you start using it more.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
Yeah. So, yeah, parents told me, handle it. This is your issue. You know, I handle it. Fixed it and did everything I need to do.
Podcast Host
Do you think that Clav might have shot that gator because you were low key mogging him?
Andrew Morales
Maybe the gator was mocking us and that's why we both did it, so he could be it.
Podcast Host
Okay. You gave them the judge, you know, you gave Clav a really good endorsement by saying off camera. Good, good person. Takes care of the people around him.
Andrew Morales
Very good person.
Podcast Host
He should feel really good about that.
Andrew Morales
So.
Podcast Host
And. And he understands the game, obviously. He's at the top of the streaming game for sure. Talk to me about what makes a successful live streamer on camera versus off camera. I've started to consume live streamer. You a little bit or streaming.
Andrew Morales
Streaming University.
Podcast Host
Yeah, Streamer University. I'm the live views. I mean, I'm in such unk mode right now. Do you hope to go to Streamer U next year?
Andrew Morales
I would love to. I would love to, but we have to see if streaming is still going to be around in a year.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
I think it's interesting turning into a saturated market, right?
Podcast Host
I want to talk about that.
Andrew Morales
Absolutely.
Podcast Host
It's so saturated right now.
Andrew Morales
Super saturated.
Podcast Host
I mean, are you, are you streaming for live viewers? You're just streaming for viral clips that grow up your, that blow up your Instagram, that, that, that you then back out to brand deals?
Andrew Morales
So I'll tell you this.
Podcast Host
What would your parents say if you did onlyfans?
Andrew Morales
Honestly, my mom would say, get that bag.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Andrew Morales
100%. My pops would say, make sure you, you're cracking a few baddies on there too. 100. And as long as I'm taking care of them, you know, what's, what's, what are they gonna say? They brought me here, you know, they started a new life for me here.
Podcast Host
I love it.
Andrew Morales
And what I'm supposed to do is plant those roots for the next generation. Right?
Podcast Host
Okay, so I need you to explain something.
Andrew Morales
So let's. The stream, right? Let's talk about the streaming.
Podcast Host
Here's my specific question. When I watch streamer, you. Yes, it's now I know a lot of those kids who are there. And so when they come into the dean's office with Kai, I'm now noticing what I call streamer acting, right? It's like you're not full blown acting, reading a script, but you're also not yourself. It's like a very purposeful, like, I know this is a clippable moment. It's like you, when you bark, right. Explain to me for myself, for my own education, easy, what the, what the on, off, switch about streamer acting is
Andrew Morales
so it's acting and it's also a high. Looking at the chat, seeing the viewers and seeing how fast it's going, it's a high. So whatever you're acting as, you don't know the threshold of how hard you're taking into the acting, you know, and that's why you take it to the next level. That's why you play HH in the club and you don't think of any repercussions. That's why you shoot a gator and you don't think of any repercussions. You're reading that chat and you're in an actor mode, right? Essentially you're not an influencer, you're an actor and you're Putting up an act for all these people. It's a live movie. That's essentially what you're doing. You're larping live action roleplay. That's what you're doing. So these people, once they hop on the camera, completely different person off camera. You're asking, what does cloud do? We all don't sleep. I don't know if maybe that's what we're not supposed to do. But none of us sleep. We probably get two hours a day and caffeine all day. I don't use any substances. Maybe I should start. But only caffeine. That's all I do. No Adderall, no anything.
Podcast Host
So when clavs off camera, he's Brayden. Right. And then like on camera, like that dopamine, I've got tens of thousands of people watching and potentially hundreds of millions if a clip goes viral.
Andrew Morales
Yeah.
Podcast Host
And that dopamine energy just carries you into this altered state.
Andrew Morales
It's. It's an amazing high. When it's super good, sometimes you can have a bad trip. Right?
Podcast Host
Tell me about a bad trip.
Andrew Morales
A bad trip. I'll give you an example. I'm the first person on kick to get banned for a thousand years and the first person to come back within four weeks of. Without getting banned. Coming back from a ban.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Andrew Morales
Right. The reason I got banned, I. I let it get to my head. They loved not Tarzan things, but they loved the club content. So we, we were. Obviously had hundreds of girls making out with us, girls coming on the camera. You know, I would get in trouble for them flashing us. Some girls obviously, you know, were hooking up with me on camera, you know, doing a few extra things. And that's just the name of the game. You know, you get in those viral clips and you're getting sucked in. Sometimes you forget the camera is there and the girls forget the camera.
Podcast Host
That's probably when streaming's really good, though.
Andrew Morales
And that's when you. Streaming is good.
Podcast Host
When you forget the cameras.
Andrew Morales
And then you get carried away. You drink a little bit too much on the camera, you read the chat too much, you start believing that other creators are talking bad about you. For example, at Baccarat opening night, I had this creator saying that they were going to leak my mom's address and pistol whipper, you know, I saw him there. I told him on stream, if I see you again, I'm gonna hit you. I promise you. A few minutes later, I saw him outside. I had no conversations. I told him, I let him look at me, punched him right in the face. Nastiest black guy he's ever had in his life. And he said it himself. And that's just because a lot of these streamers don't think there's repercussions, you know, I'm a year in the game. I'm not really an influencer, I'm just another guy trying it out. You're gonna mess with the wrong guy and it's gonna ha. It's bound to happen. And that's a bad trip. Repercussions for my actions, obviously. My homie Clive owns the club, hooked it up, you know, really didn't get too much in trouble. That's a bad trip.
Podcast Host
You know what happened with that fallout with the Bakara?
Andrew Morales
Yeah, it's just, you know, I can't speak on his experience with it, my experience with the management. It was an absolute shit show, man. The manager that's in charge of getting the talent, he would give us free bottles, free everything, and wouldn't even give it to his Clive's own people, which was kind of up, but he would give it to us just because we brought a lot of girls. And I had a falling out with him because he really wanted this bottle girl. Bottle girl threw herself on me. I fucked her there at baccarat and he got mad and told me, yo, you can't come back. You fucked the bottle girl? I wanted, bro, I'm sorry. You're 40 years old, you know, living at your parents house, not bottle girls. Gotta be a superstar, bro. Work harder, simple.
Podcast Host
That's the, that's the manager of the club though. What happened with his business relationship with that club?
Andrew Morales
His business relation, I believe that he, he just, you know, had a good return on his investment that it was time to pull out. And when he pulled out, Bachra just crashed and burned.
Podcast Host
I'll tell you off camera what happened.
Andrew Morales
Oh, I know.
Podcast Host
What's your prediction for the evolution of streaming? Because it's getting saturated. There's a lot of streamers, I don't know what channel to go to. You know, I'm watching streamer you and there all these streamers there, trying to get subscribers. And you know, Kai and some kid got in a fight and they fell in the pool and that guy got 50,000 new followers and a thousand subs or some shit for sure. I'm still learning kind of the, the economic game of it.
Andrew Morales
But so live streaming is just, it keeps growing. It's like Prime YouTube when you had Logan, Paul, Jake, Paul, it was great. Now it's such a saturated Market, they really. You guys can't even name any new YouTubers that have come out this year. You can only name streamers for real. So now it's. That's what stre coming into. It's the same thing. Streaming University is great. You know, they're bringing in smaller creators, but no one's watching those smaller creators. They're going for the bigger creators and they're just clip farming. They're getting those clips. A lot of people love short form content. That's all they're getting. The clips is what is going to make you a big streamer. If you have a lot of capital, you pay for clippers, you will become one of the biggest streamers. If you don't have capital, you will stay at the bottom 100%. You need to get put on.
Podcast Host
What's your prediction for Buzz Star?
Andrew Morales
My prediction for Buzz Star, I was actually able to see it live action today. It's nasty. It's good. A lot of companies like banter, you're texting somebody. Everyone knows that chatters really aren't chatters on there. You don't know who you're talking to. Being able to see the creator, different level. Also being able to not have to, you know, sell your soul to make money as you're speaking to your, you know, your fans, your supporters. Different level. I like it. I just watched someone make 250 bucks in one minute.
Podcast Host
When, when do you think that will, when do you think that will become more prevalent in the market? What needs to happen for creators to really lean into something like that?
Andrew Morales
More Marketing 100 the power of marketing isn't is is a, a man's game. You know, the more marketing you have behind it, the bigger your app's gonna be, the bigger your program is gonna be. Whatever. You know, when Twitch and kick, you know, going at each other all about clips, you see more kick clips, okay, I'm gonna go to kick. See more Twitch clips. I'm gonna go to Twitch, you know, showing, you know, testimonials of the actual creators on Buzz Star. Showing the projected earnings, you know, transparency with, with your clients, client relations, showing the people that have purchased those, those video calls, sharing their experience. That's something that you want to show out there to the market, right? Because it shows that the creators actually care about their people. If you post those videos, speaking to your supporters, you know, without your supporters, you're nothing. If your supporters twist turn on you tomorrow, you're not an influencer anymore because you have no influence. You're done. So Being being able to speak to your supporters not only for obviously monetary value, but building a relationship with them. You never know what's there to come. And also these supporters should be companies reaching out to you and pitching you in that time frame that they buzzstar.
Podcast Host
There's something called an offline offer. The concept is my parents are in their 80s. If I'm eating dinner with them and you want to call me for a $5 conversation, I'm not interested. My time with my parents is more valuable. But if it's a $5,000, you know, oh yeah, business decision, I'd say, mom, let me, let me take this call and I back. What's your number? Where if you're walking around, if you're on stream like what's the number where you would want to know if someone really wanted to get you on the phone for a minute.
Andrew Morales
Is there a way to see how long the call is going to go?
Podcast Host
It's one minute. Only one.
Andrew Morales
Only one minute.
Podcast Host
Only one minute phone calls. Neon gets offers for 2,000. Sophie Rain gets thousand dollars offers all the time. I think, I think her number to pick up the phone is closer to 10,000 because she's just.
Andrew Morales
That's insane.
Podcast Host
I mean, but she's liquid, right? She's. She'd rather not have the anxiety of coming face to face with a fan probably like for a thousand bucks for sure. A $10,000 one minute call, that would probably be too hard to say no to.
Andrew Morales
So I'm in the jungle going after an animal and I get a notification and I don't want to pick up the phone.
Podcast Host
What's the number?
Andrew Morales
Honestly, bro, 250 bucks. 500 bucks. It's a minute.
Podcast Host
Honestly, 100 bucks, bro.
Andrew Morales
Taking a call.
Podcast Host
But, but everyone's got a number, you know, like money is. Everybody has a different. They're at a different place in their journey and it means something different. I'll tell you another interesting thing. I know you're friends with Owen and Camilla, right?
Andrew Morales
Yes.
Podcast Host
Okay. So I grew Camilla from Camilla. No one came to Creators Inc. Early on. You know, she. We grew from around $10,000 up to half a million dollars a month on OnlyFans.
Andrew Morales
Wow.
Podcast Host
And then they went off on their own and kind of did their own thing, but they never left the OnlyFans platform. Right. So one of the reasons I started BuzzStar was because the company I built that was successful was a. We needed OnlyFans. We're built on the OnlyFans platform. We help and manage content creators who are on OnlyFans monetize that content. And I wanted, I was always looking for an opportunity to become the house, right? And that's why I really wanted to get into that. My goal now at 43 for the next five years is I actually want to build an industry, not a business. And I think this could become the next industry. And another thing that I think is really interesting about it is I think we're going to discover Buzz stars, meaning sometimes the huge Instagram person isn't getting a shitload of calls. And then we have these micro niche, pickleball viral people or running club people who people are obsessed with talking to. And so I think that we've discovered a new playing field that there will be stars on that may not be the people you'd think just because they're so clouded somewhere else.
Andrew Morales
I love that you said you want to build a platform. So let me ask you on buzzstar, is there any way that you can maybe, you know, in discord, you have a community, right? You can share a video to them. Is there anything that you can maybe have a community maybe on a monthly subscription or anything like that, for those Buzz Star supporters to where they get exclusive content or maybe behind the scenes?
Podcast Host
So I'm a big believer in staying in your own land. I think that if we deliver a really incredible product that's just a widget that gives someone like you to make money and you deliver that to the world, the human beings will figure out what to do with it. There are platforms that have won the exclusive content game Buzz Stars. In the App Store, we are safe for work. If you pull out your dick on Buzzstar, you're going to get a $10,000 fine and that call recording is getting turned over to authorities. Why do we do that? Because we want to protect any content creator that is on the platform and keep them safe from that. It's, you know, and also, like, there's plenty of apps where you can do that, right? But that's not what we're our place is for. I told you this.
Andrew Morales
When?
Podcast Host
Last night. When I look at a creator like yourself firing off 50 brand deals a day, you're like, hey man, I'm Cuban Tarzan, if I use this product, you're going to get sales. Da da da da. You're selling someone else's shit to your audience. You have to figure out a way to sell you to your audience. Either you go vertical with your own product and sell that to your audience, or you use the subscription paywall sites like the only fans, the fanfics the passes, you know, a buzz star so that you can monetize your contextual relationships with your audience. Because I think more than anything, the people, the kids, the family who are fans of you would love to just interact with you more. They give a shit about the energy drink or getting addicted to chicken cross or whatever it is.
Andrew Morales
Yeah, parents want to pay for a five minute call for their kids little birthday party, you know, and all the kids get to see me on the screen, you know, talking to them, maybe having a snake on me, something like that.
Podcast Host
Anyway, I have a prediction.
Andrew Morales
Yes, sir.
Podcast Host
I think you're going to be one of the biggest content creators on the Internet in the next two or three years.
Andrew Morales
Thank you.
Podcast Host
That's based on your principles, your sobriety, your discipline, your judgment. And I see a lot of people come here who are young kids and they're very impressionable, they're very confused. There's logic and there's limbic. If I take your food, air and water from you, you die. If I take away your chain, if I take away your car, your T shirt, your fancy streaming kits, you don't die. Nothing happens. Most people here in LA and most content creators, their limbic brain drives their logic. I'm going to do some dumb shit because I really want that Lambo to impress a whole bunch of people that I actually don't even know and don't even like. The people who say I'm going to wear this Audemars because I know young kids are very impressionable. So if it's their first time seeing me, that might equate with some vision of success. They might listen to me and look into me more and then build a contextual relationship. That's your logical brain driving your limbic brain and I think you have that. And obviously you've got big cojones and you understand viral media and I think you're going to do really, really, really well. And I also encourage you to keep making mistakes. I think a setback is really good for a guy like you. I think you're a guy who needs to be tested. You're a good looking kid, you clearly have a lot of confidence. Probably did not have a period of your life where getting girls was really a tough time for you. You're happy, go lucky you're an athlete. I think those, those terrible things that have happened to you or may continue to happen to you that create stress on your NER live streaming and you're putting yourself slightly in harm's way, hopefully not in like too much of A catastrophic state. I think those are going to be the really good things for, for you and I would encourage you not to shy away from it. As long as you don't die and you don't go to jail.
Andrew Morales
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Or kill somebody.
Andrew Morales
Agreed? Agreed. Absolutely. And I really appreciate that. Starting off, I was actually watching a lot of the tips that you guys post. You know, a lot of people, social media is such a valuable tool and having a plat, having an account teach you tips and tricks about how to use platforms, it's, it's, you know, value in your hand, you know. So I was able to take some of the tips and tricks that you were able to show me without really even knowing that you're showing me incorporate into my world and it's what got me here in the seat today.
Podcast Host
Another thing that is a key reason that you're going to be super successful is because you're doing what you like to do. Yes, I'm doing what I like to do. I made a lot of my money three years ago. I've had like the brand you see today. I did not need that to make all the money I made. Everyone was like, oh, I work with Andy, I work with Andy. 100,000 million dollar a month clients, they were falling off trees early on and then my industry got very saturated and I had the vision to build this, this kind of premium brand named agency that brought in mainstream people that if you were around us you were relevant. But it's expensive and so my industry is more saturated, it's much more competitive to get clients and I have to spend more money to be in the game where I'm at. You know, I probably, you know. So you make half as much money as you did in 2022 and your costs are twice as much.
Andrew Morales
Absolutely.
Podcast Host
And however, with that being said, I love it so much. I love being the old head. That is a name and brand in this space that's around young kids like you who are figuring things out. You know, I get anxiety all the time that I'm not watching enough TikTok live battles and favorited in streams because you've got to have a good feel. Like if you're building something like buzzstar you have to build a good UX ui, no problem. You can go hire a sick designer and build you a slick user interface for anything. But even to this day I worry our product at this early state. I have the opposite problem of most startups. Most startups are young kids, they're in a silo, they build something great for Three years, they come to market, nobody gives a fuck. Like, you know, I have the opposite problem. Ddg, Blueface, Sophie, Ray, Neon, all these people on this app and the product, I still, to me, feels a little bit like a T shirt with three armholes. And we're figuring out really, like, what's going on in streaming, what's going on in TikTok live, what's going on on these other sites where. Where we fit in, in. Someone's on Instagram Live or TikTok Live and saying, all right, hit me up on Buzz Star and how do we fit into that? And if I didn't love it, I couldn't do this because Creators Inc. Is a very profitable cash flow business. Buzzstar is a startup. It's. It costs me money. I'm the financier. It's cash burn for me every day, hoping for this big asymmetrical upside one day when Meta buys it for $10 billion in stock. Right? That's my dream. So whatever. A little bit about me. I love it.
Andrew Morales
I love it. It's inspiring. At the end of the day, you didn't get here without taking a few risks, right? Learning experience. Like, you tell me all the advice you're giving me. It's from your knowledge.
Podcast Host
You got so far. You went from zero to where you're at now in 13 months. We're going to check in in a year and we're going to see where you're at. But Cuban Tarzan.
Andrew Morales
Yes.
Podcast Host
Thanks for coming out and I look forward to hanging out with you. We'll catch some iguanas in Miami soon. I'm from Miami. Well, I'm not from Miami, but I live there now. I live in Miami. I live in Sunny Isles Beach. But I think one of the cool things about iguana content is, like, they're everywhere in Miami. Everywhere. But people from all over the country and world, they don't see iguanas. So when they see you catching this big dinosaur looking, like, reptile thing, like, that's a big deal. But to us, I mean, iguanas are relatively harmless, I guess. Unless you're letting them whip you with their tail.
Andrew Morales
Yeah, that. That's no fun. And also, they have a strong bite. I've got nicked a few times. I had to get like eight stitches.
Podcast Host
Oh, shit.
Andrew Morales
Just a little. Just the four teeth. Got me that many stitches.
Podcast Host
Wow.
Andrew Morales
Incredible. Incredible. Thank you very much for having me. I appreciate it.
