Employees at a bar in Key Largo, Florida called the sheriff's office for help in May 2026 for a man they said was drinking while his young daughter was playing in the water. Monroe County Sheriff's body-worn cameras recorded Luis Del Ra Ortiz's encounter with deputies. The video shows Ortiz cursing at deputies as witnesses described what they said happened at the bar. Arizona woman Laura Owens was indicted on seven charges after prosecutors alleged she falsely claimed she was pregnant with “Bachelor” star Clayton Echard’s child.
