Crime Stories with Nancy Grace Tonight, live to San Antonio, an absolutely stunning young mom of three seemingly walks out of her home and is never seen again. I don't believe it. Good evening, I'm Nancy Grace. This is Crime Stories. I want to thank you for being with us.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
Bianca Carrasco was known as a devoted, hard working mother of three living what appeared to be a picture perfect family life. But after a heated argument with her husband, Bianca vanished without a trace.
Nancy Grace
Joining us, an all star panel including this beautiful mom's sister, as well as those working desperately on her search. Straight out to Crime Stories, investigative reporter Dave Mack. Dave, what happened?
Dave Mack
Nancy it was that night around 10:22pm when Bianca and her husband got into a bit of an argument and Bianca left the house. She left on her own because she just to clear her head, whatever. We've all done that. But Bianca goes out on this walk, Nancy and she doesn't return. So we don't know.
Nancy Grace
Wait a minute. DAVE Mack Let me Understand something. You're telling me this young mom at 3, leaves her home, walks out the front door around 10:30 at night in the dark to go for a walk, leaving her children in the home. Is that what I'm supposed to believe?
Dave Mack
That's exactly what happened, Nancy. She just needed to get out and clear her head, you know, going out for a walk, 10:30 at night. She's got three children. She's a registered nurse. This is a woman who is a loving mother, very responsible, doesn't leave her kids alone, just stepping outside at 10:30 at night.
Nancy Grace
Dave Mack. Okay, put him up, please. You just said this is what happened. We don't know that is what happened. Because I'm having a really hard time believing that Bianca would just walk out in the middle of the night when she's got to go to work the next morning. She's a registered nurse. Their hours are very long. She has a great reputation at work. She's not one to drag in exhausted, dragging her tail to work to be a nurse. Okay. And she's a full time mom and, and a full time nurse. Find it really hard to believe at 10:30 at night she's up for an evening stroll. Yeah, I'm not buying that. So don't tell me this is what happened. This is just a report of what happened. Isn't that more accurate? Dave Mack.
Dave Mack
This is the story we have been told. So I think that's probably the accurate way to speak.
Nancy Grace
Let me ask you this. Where did Bianca live?
Dave Mack
San Antonio, Texas. Nancy. She's living in a neighborhood, single family houses. And in a neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas. An area that other people live and are active and moving around. I mean, you've got neighbors that know what's going on. You see the map and you know where San Antonio is. Just a regular neighborhood. There's nothing dramatic or special about this particular place.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
We will not give up until we find the truth. If we work together as a community,
Nancy Grace
we are able to perhaps share Bianca's
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
story far and wide, to encourage those to come forward with those with information. We will continue to share her case, her story, talk about her, look for her, do everything we can to find her.
Nancy Grace
From our friends at Kens5. Now joining me, special guest Abel Pena, former FBI special agent, 26 years, worked in the San Antonio and Houston FBI divisions and he has been investigating this case. He is now a private investigator with Project Absentee. Mr. Pena, thank you for being with us. First of all, I want to take this step by step. That's what you have to do when you prepare for trial, you start at A, you end at Z. Tell me about the area where Bianca went missing.
Abel Pena
So Bianca first went missing. What we know is she went missing on May 1st of 2016. The area is a typical San Antonio middle class neighborhood. It's single family homes. There is a small little wooded area just past the residents, but each house is next to each other. There's nothing. It's not like a large area of land. Now, there are conflicting accounts about why she left or who she left with or what she was doing that's not known right now. These are stories that the husband has told the police. We don't know that. And whether she actually follow through on the plans to leave or whether she left with somebody, we don't know that either. The timeline, based on what we've learned, really just don't align. They don't align because it raises really some serious investigative questions to Dave Mack,
Nancy Grace
crime stories investigative reporter. What about her cell phone? DAVE mack, I also find it hard to believe that this mom of three would go anywhere without her cell phone. I mean, I never am without my cell phone. What if the children try to contact me? What if the school calls? I mean, I have to be able to be in touch with him constantly.
Dave Mack
One thing we know about that cell phone, Nancy, is exactly what you just said. With three children, she was always in contact, constantly available to know what was going on with her children, with her family. But in this particular instance, 10:22pm that phone was turned off.
Nancy Grace
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Dave Mack, you can tell when a cell phone, when somebody's just not picking up or it's been turned off. So you're sure her phone was turned off?
Dave Mack
Correct. That is what we've been told, is that her cell phone was turned off
Nancy Grace
at 10:22pm I am not buying into that. Straight out now. Just joining us is someone we've been waiting on to hear from her. This is Bianca's sister. It's the closest thing we've got to Bianca Jovana. Bernie is joining us. I know that this is painful, so let me apologize in advance for asking you to go back through this. But Ms. Burney, could you explain, could you describe when you learned your sister is just vanished? She's just gone. She went out for a walk at 10:30 at night and turned her cell phone off. That's B.S.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
first of all, thank you for saying that and having compassion because it's not easy to say the story over and over again. I'm just trying to get her story out there. So thank you for that. From my perspective, I spoke with her Sunday, early on in the day, and then Monday when I tried to contact her, her phone was off, which was not normal. So I tried to call her all day, told my siblings, tried to get a hold of her, tried to make contact with her husband, and I didn't get a hold of him until Monday afternoon. When I got in contact with him that afternoon, he explained to me that he had traveled to Odessa, Texas, which is five hours from San Antonio, and that my sister left the night before, Sunday, May 1, and they were in an argument. I asked him if he made eye contact with her, that she knew he was leaving, so that. So that it was clear that she could go back to the house. And he said yes. And of course, it was the kids immediately that upset me. I started asking, asking questions, where are the kids? Find out. They were left alone at home and he doesn't know where my sister is and that she left. So the whole thing was really upsetting from just thinking about the kids. From there, I asked my sisters to get on social media and put something out because her phone is continuously going to voicemail. I call her job. She was an oncologist, nurse at the time. And when I called her job, they sounded concerned, said that there was no show, no call from her, and that it was unlike her. Another red flag for me. So I made the decision Tuesday. I told her husband that if I did not hear from her Tuesday, if I called her work, that she was not there and they still hadn't heard from her, that I would be calling the police. And at first he told me not to, that I needed to leave her alone. And I told him, absolutely not. This is not normal for her phone to be off, for no one to be able to be in contact with her. She worked so hard that she would not just not show up at her job or call in. It just wasn't like her that Tuesday, of course, I call her work, still nothing. Call the police department in San Antonio. I live in Houston, Texas. So they transferred me to Houston PD first, made a report with them, and then they transferred me back over to San Antonio Tuesday night. She was listed as a missing person.
Nancy Grace
It seems to me you went through a lot to get her listed as a missing person. I want to go back through exactly what the husband told you. Can we just. Just pinpoint that.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
When I called, he sounded very calm, which was a little odd to me because leading up to Sunday, they were arguing a lot. And he was in an uproar, just thinking he's going to lose his wife and, you know, his family. And so his calmness, his tone was. Was very odd to me, but I. I guess I didn't think anything. Immediately he said that Bianca left last night. And I said, what do you mean that she left? He said, she just left. And then I started asking questions. She left on foot? She left without her car? And he said, yeah, she just left. And I said, you saw her walking? He said, yes. And I said, and she saw you leaving in your. In your car? And he said, yes. And I asked him, what about her items? Did she take anything with her? And he said, no, that he found her purse in her car. And I said, was her ID in there? And he told me yes. So that. I just. I just couldn't believe it. I was asking, does she take her makeup? My sister was big on her makeup. She would not go anywhere without makeup. Did she take her makeup? Did she take her hair straightener? And he said, no. I just couldn't accept what he was saying. I heard what he was saying. And then this was another thing that he mentioned. He said she probably left with one of those guys. And I was just, what do you mean? What guys? What. What guys are you talking about? And then I'm upset because I'm thinking, well, if she left with the guy, you don't know this guy. I don't know this guy. So. And how do you know? And he said, well, I don't, but she probably did. So that's the just of what he told me.
Nancy Grace
So what again, did he say regarding her purse and id?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
He told me that it was in her car.
Nancy Grace
She chose to go out on Foot at 10:30 at night.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
I'm not sure about the timeline. He just told me it was at night.
Nancy Grace
And he dissuaded you from calling police?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
He attempted, yes.
Nancy Grace
What did he say exactly about calling police?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
He told me that I needed to leave her alone, to just let her be and that she'd probably come back. And I just. I couldn't take that answer.

Dave Mack
It makes no sense when you have a car and you have all of your pertinent items inside the car. But, Nancy, there's another twig to throw on this. The youngest daughter turning 5 years old in the days after she disappeared. So do you really think Bianca, this loving mother of three beautiful children, would leave on foot before her daughter's fifth birthday? The baby of the family? Really? That's what you have to buy into to believe this. So I'm not buying it either, Nancy. Why would she be walking down the road? And why would we believe that she would leave her three children at home and leave on foot? It makes no sense.
Nancy Grace
Abel Pena, who has been out searching and investigating with Project Absent Us. Abel, tell me about the searches for Bianca.
Abel Pena
So far, we've done some minimal searches in the area, in the neighborhood. We also took a trip up to Odessa just to check up, check out some sites. Really what we've done is looked at the case itself and looked at the conflicting accounts of, of what happened to Bianca that night. One version says she was picked up, and another says she just walked off entirely. So we're looking at that and trying to determine, based on those accounts, possibly what could have happened. There were questions about, you know, if she allegedly left with somebody. We've spoken to that person, that, that other person that she was talking to, and we've cleared him. We've taken a trip to Odessa. There was a. A suggestion that she, she left Odessa, but there was no clear reason or confirmation that she even had ties up there at that time. Third, and this is, I think, really, really critical. Again, that phone being left behind, that tells me that, you know, she. There was nothing planned. It was just inconsistent with somebody that voluntarily left. And finally, if she leaves her child behind, her children behind, including the youngest child or the young child, and that's really just not behavior that aligns with a planned disappearance. And so when you put all that together, you know, we searched the area. There's again, there's a wooded area near the house. If there was, if she was extracted somehow by somebody or taken somewhere. Again, we did take a trip to Odessa. We drove around. We went to different, various addresses just to kind of get a lay of the land up there.
Nancy Grace
What is in Odessa? What leads you to Odessa?
Abel Pena
Joe? Daniel Carrasco, that evening, did drive up to Odessa with, with a child, the youngest child. He left the other two behind. But he did drive up to Odessa, Texas, that evening. He must have left probably at about 10:30 that night. There is a claim that he makes that. I understand that as he was driving away, he saw, he, he saw Bianca Carrasco walking. That's, that's what he says. Again, that's a conflicting statement. But there, what we learned is that he did drive up to Odessa, Texas that evening. The claim was that he went up there for work, but our understanding is that he was no longer working up there. He does have family there, so he could have been going up there to visit with family. We just don't know.
Nancy Grace
Joining us now is a special guest, colleague and who I consider to be a longtime friend. It is Tim Miller. He is the founder of Texas Equisearch. He has devoted his life to finding missing people after the disappearance and the death of his beloved daughter. Tim Miller, founding and running Equisearch, and he and his team have participated in multiple searches for Bianca. You can find tim@texasequiseearch.org Tim Miller, I can't thank you enough for joining us tonight. You know so much about this case. Why instead of me asking you questions, you just start at the beginning. Tim Miller, I typically would have said, what did you do to find Bianca? But you start at the beginning, Tim, from your first involvement in the search for this gorgeous Texas mom.
Tim Miller
Well, we actually got the call on May 5th in 2016 at 1:22 in the afternoon. Four of our people went over there, met with the detective, we met with family members, and, you know, we got a lot of information. Of course, there was a lot of concerns about, you know, her and her husband. That relationship just didn't seem to be as stable as anybody would have wished it would be. And, and of course, there was questions about cell phone, there was questions about where he went and everything. And, and I think that we've got some information how much of it is true or not. Nancy, you know, when a lot of it comes from the husb, certainly a person of interest and stuff, you know, how much is true and how much is not. Without a cell phone, you know, they couldn't do any tracking. And, and so, you know, there's certainly a lot of questions. And I think when we first got into it, there was a lot of questions and there wasn't a lot of cooperation. I actually went to their house. I spent a little bit of time with the husband. Again, things just didn't add up back then. And, and we're no closer now than we were the day we started.
Nancy Grace
Tim Miller, you stated that you went to the family home and your words, quote, there was not a lot of cooperation. What do you mean by that?
Tim Miller
Well, I mean, the stories were all over the place. He would never really look us in the eyes when he was talking. We asked him about this supposedly trip that he made to Odessa and everything, and. And we just didn't get a whole lot out of him. Now, we did work with the detectives, and I remember that Detective Trevino was his name. And I think that he was just as frustrated as. As we were. You know, I've got a lot of stuff on the report, but none of that makes any sense. I mean, everything in a report that, that we ran areas that we search and we searched a lot of areas. We got information, several areas between there and Odessa with possible sightings and vehicle and stuff. We. That we actually went and searched, and we actually had a helicopter up a couple times on some areas that we thought were high priority from, you know, from information that came in. But we, again, we put a lot of effort into it, and. And again, you know, 10 years later, we're. We're no closer.
Nancy Grace
Okay. You stated that when you went to her home, you got a lot of conflicting stories. Your words, the stories were, quote, all over the place. What were the stories? I'm trying to get a timeline here. I do know that on May 1, it is reported her husband took her cell phone and drained all the money out of her account.
Tim Miller
I did not have that one in my report. Now that you mentioned it, I remember hearing that, and according to ours, that the cell phone was turned off and lost. And to my knowledge, that cell phone has never been found to this day.
Nancy Grace
Hold on, hold on. Tim Miller. Let me go back to Bianca's sister. Joining us tonight, Giovanna Burney. Again, Giovanna, you are speaking out on behalf of your sister and her children that she's left behind, although I believe, not willingly. What do you make of claims? Just claims. He has not been convicted of draining your sister's bank account and taking her cell phone. It would be a cold day in he double L that a man would take my cell phone away from me. That's my only way to reach my twins, for Pete's sake. What do you make of those reports?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
So I know for a fact that the days. It was the days before she actually went missing, it was either the Wednesday or Thursday. They got into a huge fight and things just started erupting. He did take her phone, and she did go get a phone in her name, and she was really upset when she talked to me because he did take all the money out of their bank account.
Nancy Grace
What were they Arguing about. Is it true she gave back her wedding band and wanted a divorce?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
I'm not sure what exactly happened with the ring. I think those stories came from him. I do know that she was. It's hard to talk about, but they were already living as if they were divorced. They weren't really on speaking terms. And then he found out that she was talking to another guy and that really, really just set him off the edge. He wanted the kids, he didn't want her to have the kids. And there was just a lot of that kind of fighting going on.
Nancy Grace
Okay, wait a minute. Let me understand something. Giovanna Burney. So he wants to take the children away from her because. Because she finally finds a man that will treat her better and that's somehow her fault. That is not a grounds to take the children away.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
No, there was a lot leading up to that also. It was just so frustrating.
Nancy Grace
What was leading up to it? You said a lot was leading up to it. For Pete's sake, she's a full time nurse. She works her rear end off, she raises children. What led up to it?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
I think because she was already separating herself from him, he just wanted to paint this picture that she was a bad mom, that she didn't care about the kids, and that he put her through school, things like that, all these years. And I'm not sure who paid for it, but she did the work.
Nancy Grace
She certainly did. And amongst her peers, she was very highly valued as a nurse. Was she an oncologist nurse?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
Yes, ma', am. She was. She was a great nurse.
Nancy Grace
That's not easy. That is not an easy job. You know, who signs up to be an oncologist nurse? That is hard. You're dealing with people's heartbreak every day and seeing them through some of the worst times of their lives. But your sister was doing that.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
You know.
Nancy Grace
Abel Pinion joining us in addition to special guest Tim Miller from Equisearch Tonight. Tonight. Abel, thank you again for being with us because someone needs to speak out for Bianca. This case in my mind is going cold unless we light a fire under it. What do you make of reports her phone was lost, that she left with it, that it, quote, went dead? Reports her husband had taken her phone from her, that he drained her bank account. You hear Tim Miller, he spoke to everybody. He said that all the accounts of what really happened that night are all over the place. They don't match. Isn't it true you have called on her husband to take a polygraph? Any luck with that?
Abel Pena
I've called on him. I posted on social media, I challenged him. I said, let's clear your name, take that step forward. Let's take a polygraph. The costs will cover the cost free of charge. We can select a certified polygraph examiner of your choice. I've got a couple that I use. But if he's got somebody that he wants to use, we can certainly talk to his polygrapher and get them on board. But we've offered that. I've yet to hear back from him. And again, I want to say this, that he is a person that we'd like to talk to. And I think just based on his behavior, his the timeline, which we believe is severely fractured with his inconsistent statements, he deserves more scrutiny here in a polygraph, while it's not admissible in court, it's a way to have him step forward just to clear his name.
Nancy Grace
Well, another thing is very, very hard. Abel Pena, as you well know, Abel, joining us from Project Absentis, it's very hard to beat a polygraph. And if the polygraph is administered by a respectable and qualified polygrapher, such as someone from the crime lab or someone that had been at the crime lab and I would know the questions that were asked. You can't ask questions that are irrelevant to the case. I would pay attention to a polygraph. Of course, they're only admissible in court in criminal cases if they are stipulated to ahead of time without knowing the outcome, both parties say, yes, we'll let it come in court. They are allowed in civil cases. Remember, OJ Simpson made what, a negative 43 on his polygraph? That said, why won't he take a polygraph? Why is he afraid to take a polygraph?

Sequences shortened and simulated crime stories with Nancy Grace. I want to go back to Tim Miller joining us from Texas Equisearch. You performed multiple searches for Bianca. Where did you search?
Tim Miller
Well, we started out in that area because he's claimed that she took off and went for a walk. They got into an argument and I think one of the things that set him off is I believe back then on her Facebook page she indicated that they were divorced, which he said, no, they weren't divorced. So I think that's one thing that set him off. But of course they were other issues that were going on. And you know he allegedly told her not to leave because he was leaving and he was going to work. And then supposedly when he pulled out, he claimed that he's seen her walk.
Nancy Grace
Okay, Tim, hold on. I don't understand something. There are still minor children at home and his story is that she, his wife leaves on foot and then he leaves leaving children behind alone in the home. Is that actually his story? If that is his story, he's opening himself up to child neglect charges.
Tim Miller
Well in his words were as he was driving off down the street, Daniel claims that he drove past Blanca walking down the street. That was his words.
Nancy Grace
Okay, Giovanna. Bernie, is that correct? His story? And again, he has not been named a suspect or a POI in Bianca's disappearance. So his story is that she left after they had an argument on foot at 10:30 at night, even though she has a car, and then he left the home, leaving the minor children alone.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
Yes, that is the same story I got.
Nancy Grace
What else can you tell us tonight? Giovanna Burney. Guys, we are trying to reignite the search for a gorgeous young Texas mom. Is she alive or has she been killed? What about her children? They don't have any answers. If you know or think you know anything, the tip line is 210-207-7660. So, Giovanni, what else can you tell us?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
It's such a long story. I know you mentioned child neglect charges that actually prompted CPS to get involved with everything that was going on. Sadly, I. At this point, her children, they believe their mom walked away from them. That is what they've been led to believe all these years, and it's just heartbreaking. And no, her husband has not been named a suspect. But I still don't understand why he's not cooperating, why he hasn't cooperated all these years, why he won't take the polygraph test. Why tell your kids that their mother left? I mean, even if she did, why would you tell them that when they were so young, when this happened? Why did you tell me that you didn't know what she was wearing, but then you told the police this full description of what she was wearing? There's just a lot of questions that need to be answered.
Nancy Grace
Jovanna. Bernie, this is Bianca's sister. Isn't it true one of her daughters turned five one week after she went missing? Do you really think she would have missed that birthday?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
No. And it was Mother's Day, and she was very close to the young one. They were making Snapchats that day, you know, together. And she wouldn't have done that. She wouldn't have left the kids at home alone. I know that because when she was going through nursing school, we lived two hours away, and she would bring them to me to study for a test or. Or things like that. So I just don't believe she would just leave them.
Nancy Grace
So, Giovanna, you're telling me that her children have been raised to believe their mother just left them?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
Yes.
Nancy Grace
I don't believe that. I don't believe she would ever have left her children willingly.
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
No. And I think the picture he was trying to paint of her that she was a neglectful mother, that she didn't want the kids, those kinds of things. Okay, so say those things were true. If you still take her character with her life at work, she would not have not called, she wouldn't have not told her co workers anything. It either way, it does not add up.
Nancy Grace
Have you tried to convince her children otherwise?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
I have. I want to be careful with this in the opportunities that I have been able to speak to her oldest, which has been maybe two times, I've encouraged her to seek answers, to go to the San Antonio Police Department to ask for those files herself so that she is not overwhelmed with information when she gets online and that she just starts her own searching.
Nancy Grace
Dave Mack, Crime Stories Has San Antonio PD just stopped working the case?
Dave Mack
Nancy it seems as though that they've just let it go cold. There's no follow up on anything, no communication really happening. It appears that they have allowed a number of possible interviews that could be done to find out what really happened that night and. And they just let it go away. I cannot explain why they don't follow up and get Daniel somehow interviewed and under on a polygraph or something. Nancy. But no, they're just sitting there with nothing right now.
Nancy Grace
Wait a minute. You said that there may be other leads. Abel Pinna, are there other leads that are not being investigated?
Abel Pena
I think in every case like this, this is a cold case. There are definitely leads out there. They can generate leads. They can go out there and start interviewing neighbors. They can talk to other people that were friends or associates of both Bianca and Joe Dano Carrasco. I've done that. I've gotten a good picture of what was going on within that family. Again, there are a number of things that still can be done. When I was with the FBI, part of what we did was we went out there, we consistently ascertained the public, we talked to people, we generated people that could provide information to us. And that was part of what our job was, is to generate intelligence and also generate potential leads that could lead to finding out what happened at Bianca.
Nancy Grace
Tim Miller, the founder of Texas Equisearch, have San Antonio PD just quit working the case.
Tim Miller
I think that they quit working the case until they get some more positive leads. Unfortunately, this wonderful world that we live in with defunding law enforcement, it's in other way. Cases are spread so thin. They got so many cases and unfortunately they don't have the people and the funding to go ahead and work these case like cases like they need to be worked. And I Think we can thank everybody for defunding our law enforcement right there. And we go through this with many, many cases, many cases. Unfortunately, that's the world we live in today.
Nancy Grace
Giovanna. Bernie, agree or disagree?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
I disagree with, with the way that, that the entire case was being handled. I, I have full respect for any authority for our police officers, firefighters, our military. I am so grateful for those willing to put their life on the line for, for Texas, for our country. Very thankful. But I did not say much in the few years after she went missing about this, but just trying to get her to be listed as a missing person was a problem because I was told that she was doing high risk activity, which I guess having an affair is high risk, and that I needed to be patient for them to get her listed as a missing person. Also, throughout these years, I have had to call over and over again asking why the Texas Rangers have not been involved. If they know that she's not in San Antonio and there's a five hour drive between San Antonio and Odessa, why have we not gotten help to look in those areas? Yes, I understand that there's other missing persons. I understand that the funding defunding, I understand all of that. But I think it's important that they take this case seriously so it doesn't happen again. They need to understand what was done wrong here.
Nancy Grace
Two special guests joining us in addition to Bianca's sister speaking out tonight, Giovanna Burney. Nina Brook is joining us from San Antonio. Nina is the president of Search and Support San Antonio and she has been leading searches and searching herself for Bianca. Ms. Brooks, you have been supporting the family throughout the searches for Bianca. What have you guys at Search and Support San Antonio been doing?
Abel Pena
We handed out flyers in Bianca's neighborhood. We were talking to neighbors just handing out flyers raising awareness that Bianca is still missing.
Nancy Grace
Abel Pena, what's left that we can possibly do to help find Bianca?
Abel Pena
Well, what we're doing is we're looking at all the facts, looking at the behavior associated with what happened. And again, it's just very inconsistent. In any missing person's case, the timeline is extremely, extremely important because it tells you number one opportunity, it tells you movement and also intent. And right now, the timeline in Bianca's case is just not very clean at all. And as I mentioned, it's fractured. And when timelines are fractured like that, the investigators should look at the people really closest to the timeline. And in this case, it's going to be Joe, Dana Carrasco. Again, I'm not making any claim or accusation. All I'm saying is that he was a last known person that saw her alive. He was a last known person connected to her. And if I could go back, we did speak to an individual whom Bianca was in contact with, and this individual stated this, that he was in contact with her up until May 1st of 2016. And his regrets are that he, he told me this personally, that he wished that he had been able to do something to protect her because he knew that her life was in danger.
Nancy Grace
Tim Miller, what can we do now? If anything, there's got to be something we can do to reignite the search.
Tim Miller
Many, many cases, new information comes out and stuff, and we've had some success here literally in the last couple, couple years. I don't know if Daniel's going to say anything, you know, and again, another one question was, you know, where was her identification and in her purse and everything? Was that ever found or not found? One story. What, she took it. Another story was that she left it. And again, these, these stories were all over. Do we know whether that person or ID was ever located?
Nancy Grace
Do you know the answer to that, Abel?
Abel Pena
I believe what I've heard, and this is unconfirmed, what I've heard is that her purse was left in her vehicle.
Nancy Grace
So she went on foot without her purse with her cell phone dead. Is that the story?
Abel Pena
Well, the story is she left without her cell phone. That's the story. And her purse apparently was also left behind. So she left on foot at about 10:30 at night. Again, last seen by Joe Daniel Carrasco as he drove past her.
Nancy Grace
What is your message tonight, Giovanna?
Giovanna Burney (Bianca's Sister)
I don't know what anyone can do except pray for my sister and her children. I would like San Antonio Police Department to figure out more ways to talk with her husband. It just doesn't seem right not to have to answer these questions and just go on with your life and that she's missing.
Nancy Grace
Well, it seems to me that they would at least, at least investigate child neglect because by his own admission, he leaves that night and leaves two of the children alone at home, leaving them behind, according to him, on his way to Odessa. That would be a great place to start. No one has been named a suspect. No one has been named a person of interest. If you know or think you know anything about the disappearance of this mom BIANCA, please dial 210-207-7660. Repeat, 210-207-7660. Nancy Grace signing off. Goodbye, friend.
