The case of Stephanie Hebert is a deeply troubling and tragic one. Stephanie, a young child with her entire life ahead of her, was abducted in 1978 in the vicinity of her home in Waggaman, Louisiana. The initial investigation revealed that she had been last seen walking to a friend’s house down the road, and her disappearance prompted an extensive search by law enforcement and the local community.As the investigation progressed, it became evident that foul play was involved. Unfortunately, her body was discovered sometime later—crimes that would leave a profound impact on her family and the community.
