Dan Casey

We will wait. Okay, that's enough. Let's get into the episode. Becca, we're so stoked to have you here.
Becca Scott
Thank you for having me.
Amy Vorpahl
Also, wow, that intro. Oh my God.
Danielle Radford
I know, I just locked in. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Dan Casey
That'll be a flashback to a previous life.
Danielle Radford
It's just who he is.
Amy Vorpahl
Can't help it.
Danielle Radford
Yeah.
Dan Casey
So what was it like for you just stepping into this world when we're coming off the heels of meeting our Lord and savior Unzoog in a. A role that has a name, with a lot to unpack, which we'll get into in future episodes?
Danielle Radford
Yeah.
Amy Vorpahl
Well, I'd say not at all intimidating. The amount of lore Amy sent me ahead of time was absolutely a normal amount of lore.
Danielle Radford
Sorry. I'm like, I'm so glad I know Becca, because this could look pretty manic. I loved it.
Amy Vorpahl
I read it all. I gobbled it up. Just like Scott Skeletons cannot do.
Dan Casey
Just falls right through us.
Amy Vorpahl
It's always scary to jump in when you guys have been doing so many episodes, but then getting to see the top of the episode and really just fall in love with your characters and get really into the world and become a fan for this thing that nobody else can see yet that isn't working on it. I was so excited to sit down and jump right in and was so excited that you had given me so much to work with until the moment I found out we were Scottish.
Danielle Radford
Oh, yeah.
Jason Wynne
Yeah. You came in hot.
Danielle Radford
Yeah.
Busy
That was a surprise to us all. That was fantastic.
Danielle Radford
Yeah. You know, I think. I don't. I wish I had told you before, but I don't. I think the sleeper cell sleeper agent of this is actually Danielle, who was like, whoa, you're Scottish too?
Dan Casey
Yeah.
Busy
Let's go.
Danielle Radford
Yeah, yeah.
Busy
Busy. Got to do a little bit of code switching. She went back home. She's back in her hometown.
Danielle Radford
That's right.
Busy
You know, she just. She turns it off and on. I telling Amy during the break, it's like, Danielle, me, when I. I mean, I obviously, I'm part of pop nation, so I will never change that about myself, no matter what state I live in. But when I do go home, I do. You know, you go home and you start getting your old accent back. And so. And then after a while, I was like, I have to. Because busy isn't Berygny. But it's still really fun to do. It'll probably come back next episode a little bit.
Dan Casey
I really hope it does. I want to see Busy back in her baggas when she's visiting home.
Busy
Busy back in my baggus. But, yeah, so that's one. And also, yeah, it's been really fun. Cause I actually have been able to do a bunch of accents in this, and I never do accents, so.
Danielle Radford
Yeah, you did that colare accent that one time. Oh, my goodness.
Amy Vorpahl
And yet you're very good at this. Thank you.
Danielle Radford
You nailed it.
Busy
You came out of the gate.
Amy Vorpahl
The Confidential world is definitely way closer to almost an Irish accent than closer to any sort of Scottish. But I'm okay with this. You should be too.
Dan Casey
I like to think that Fitfiddle Delve contains a wide variety of rich neighborhoods that have developed different accents and linguistic stylings just over the years. They've been doing that for centuries. Language changes.
Amy Vorpahl
That's the beauty of fantasy. It's not tied to a real world place. So my accent is the correct one.
Busy
There it is.
Danielle Radford
There's no accent.
Jason Wynne
What's Scotland? I only know fit Fedaldevil.
Amy Vorpahl
I only know Dill.
Danielle Radford
But it is. She's doing perfect. Perfect upper crust Fit Fettaldelvian.
Jason Wynne
Yeah.
Danielle Radford
And you're doing lower crust Fettledelvian. That's right.
Amy Vorpahl
I worked my way up.
Danielle Radford
Yes, exactly.
Dan Casey
Well, yeah, you gotta work up to the. Because otherwise you're closer to the center of the earth.
Danielle Radford
That is right.
Dan Casey
I do want to talk about the sort of the world of Fitfellow Delve. And you coined a term right before we started rolling that I loved. If you could repeat it, started with G.
Amy Vorpahl
G. Wait, you said.
Dan Casey
Talking about the.
Amy Vorpahl
Oh, you said we talk about geopolitical and yeah, yeah. The geode. Political climate here. Thank you.
Dan Casey
Thank you.
Danielle Radford
Yes.
Dan Casey
Yeah, it's. I love that we just sort of walked into this world and you were instantly fomenting revolution. Yes, I loved it. I'm so curious to learn more. And yeah, I'm just curious for you. What's it like? What was your reaction when you were like, okay, I'm trying to overthrow the.
Amy Vorpahl
Ruling class look, that wasn't something Amy gave me necessarily.
Busy
That's even better.
Dan Casey
That's even better.
Busy
That rules spoilers.
Danielle Radford
I did say, look, I've got this world, like, do what you want with it. And like, here we go.
Amy Vorpahl
You said anything I didn't write in this email is not yet decided. And you can make choices. And I made choices.
Dan Casey
I love to hear that.
Amy Vorpahl
So what we know is that I'm going against, I think, thoughts that are not mainstream for this Fit Fiddle Delve. And to me, that means we gotta do something about that.
Jason Wynne
I love that you're like a chill boss and a revolutionary. It feels like an awesome combo.
Amy Vorpahl
I care about.
Danielle Radford
She hides in place.
Jason Wynne
I can't tell now I can't tell.
Unnamed Guest
I can tell who's who.
Amy Vorpahl
One in the same.
Danielle Radford
I do like a character that. Yeah. Hides in plain sight where, you know, by all rights. And she's high acclaimed too. I mean, she Carries the Berygneus Burfist name, which I didn't make that decision until I knew that Becca was playing this character. Oh, cool. That Berygneus has a lineage.
Dan Casey
Obviously we were just gonna have to deal with Gottfrieda Opal born.
Danielle Radford
Yep, that's true.
Jason Wynne
Thank you for writing that down.
Dan Casey
If I make you say a name, I will write it down.
Busy
That's my first name.
Danielle Radford
Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, she has a last name as well. Yeah. Got Frieda is Brignius best friend and brings her down to Earth and is just like, yeah, yeah. Hehehe.
Busy
I got questions, but we'll see if they have answers as we continue.
Dan Casey
Yeah. What was your reaction when you heard the name of our esteemed guest character?
Jason Wynne
Yeah, it was a big moment.
Busy
Yeah. Yeah, big moment. I obviously will hear some more things. It's interesting because we did flesh fibs did accidentally burn down our memory palace. And so mistakes were made. Mistakes were made. But there is still, I think even without it being a thing of coming in and there's these memories of any descendants or anything like that. There is still this connection to, you know, dwarven culture specifically. Busy's really obviously like she comes home and there is, there are still these cultural things of like this, you know, it might not be that I remember and you're of my lineage and it might not be at that point yet, but it's definitely like you are the most capable person I have met so far since we have left the dungeon. And Busy is just like. And it's like that's where it's Bizzy's like I see so much of what I love.
Danielle Radford
It is bizarre, like, because I put, you know, it's just, you know, I say these words and I'm describing as.
Becca Scott

Busy
It's me, Angel Reese. You can't beat the post game burger and fries, right? Know what else you can't beat? The Angel Reese special. Let's break it down. My favorite barbecue sauce, American cheese, crispy bacon, pickles, onions and a sesame seed bun, of course. And don't forget the fries and the drink. It's gonna be a high C for me.
Danielle Radford
Sound good? All you have to do to get.
Busy
It is beat me in a one on one.
Danielle Radford
I'm just playing get the Angel Reese special at McDonald's now.
Busy
Ba da ba ba ba.
Dan Casey
I participate in restaurants for a limited.
Danielle Radford
Time statues of literally you and Freezes and just this almost worshipping of Berygneus Burfist. And what you Danielle the player. And what Berygnius or what Busy is obsessed with is literally a table of contents on a scroll.
Busy
So because that's the legacy. Statues are fantastic. Like great. I'm glad that y'all spent all that time and all that stone. But the legacy of Berygnius is an index on a scroll. That is her legacy. It's not statues. It's not any of that other stuff. It's great that you have my name, but it's most important that it was shown that efficiency was carrying down ergonomics.
Dan Casey
People and respecting 23 taxonomies in me.
Danielle Radford
Ergo, er, gymnomics.
Dan Casey
There we go.
Danielle Radford
Yeah.
Busy
So that's again like the statues are like fantastic. But really it was that they respected. They respected and carried forth how important it is to have an index scroll in easy code.
Amy Vorpahl
You know, story question. Does Busy know that's her?
Busy
At this point, Bizzy does know that that's her, but met herself and it did not go well. It turns out that Busy does not f. With other. With past busy. We had a little bit of a kefluffle. It was fine. Like no big deal. She just wanted to kill me as I am now. And all the experiences that I went through after I came back from the dead and replaced me in the real world. And then I would have then been nothing and meant nothing to anybody. Busy took A lot of offense to that, but. So that's the other thing too. Was like, I see those statues and it's like, ugh, this bitch. I was punching you in the face last time I saw you.
Danielle Radford
But that's not what the dwarves of Fit Fettel Delve remember of Bizzy. They remember her as the number one fatekeeper that fulfilled a destiny.
Dan Casey
Yeah. Well, I think we see that interplay between reputation and reality really play out in this episode. Not just with busy, but also with our first face to face meeting with Eunzu.
Danielle Radford
Oh, that was this episode too. Yeah, that's right. Most of this episode.
Dan Casey
Also, Tippi kissed Pekara. A lot happened this episode.
Jason Wynne
Yeah, guys, it finally happened.
Danielle Radford
It finally happened. Big moment. Oh, my gosh.
Amy Vorpahl
Beaked her.
Busy
Really?
Jason Wynne
Yeah, I beaked her. So was it. Did it count? Did it count?
Amy Vorpahl
There it is.
Jason Wynne
My first pet.
Danielle Radford
Okay, but you did get the confidence up enough.
Jason Wynne
I felt like there is now no excuse. Right. Like, his biggest excuse was he didn't feel like he deserved to have a kiss with her. And now he's the Goblin champion and his boss is back and, like, he's kind of like the top of the mountain for Tippi.
Dan Casey
Right.
Danielle Radford
It's all downhill from here.
Jason Wynne
It's all downhill from here. And so it's like, if I don't kiss her now, I don't know when I'll get a chance to do that.
Danielle Radford
Yeah. It also did culminate, not from a heartfelt speech, but from a bit of a fight. Like they were just arguing with each other. And I think that's actually very goblin y.
Jason Wynne
Very goblin y indeed.
Danielle Radford
For sure.
Jason Wynne
What are you waiting for, a failed sidebar? A failed sidebar.
Danielle Radford
Take to it.
Jason Wynne
We have a lot of sidebars. A few things.
Amy Vorpahl
Can I. Yeah, that's a really good idea.
Jason Wynne
Thank you so much. Yeah. All right, we're done with the sidebar.
Danielle Radford
What was it like for y'all to get to witness and talk to Unzoog? Did he live up to expectations or what's the vibe?
Busy
Talk about cool boss. We get there, and of course, Unzoog, the terrible Unzoog, the master of the undead. And we get there and he's like, all right, everybody. Papa squat. We just want to go ahead and just. Everybody, we're going to catch up. We're going to see what's going on. How are you? How's your day been? I do want to hear that story later. But for first, we do have to get down to business. And so that, I think, was. I was very Surprised. Cause I was definitely expecting Dark Lord of Terror, and he can still be a dark Lord of Terror, but so much of it was also very chill. We're working on something and we're a team and he.
Dan Casey
Yeah.
Busy
Very great team building skills.
Jason Wynne
This one's hard for me because this one is really like, I have to separate myself as a player and not metagame and not.
Busy
Danielle's suspicious. Busy as.
Jason Wynne
I'm so suspicious. Cause I don't trust no boss. But Tippi does. Tippy does. Tippy really does. But it is strange how, like, he's the great dark lord and we were so scared of him, and now he's like, yeah, Papa Squad.
Dan Casey
Yeah, I'll fire Crandall for repeated HR violations. Absolutely.
Jason Wynne
I was like, what? I don't like this. So I have a hard time trusting him.
Danielle Radford
Hedging your bet.
Dan Casey
Yeah. I mean, I'm suspicious because he gave me some very powerful magic items.
Busy
Damn, y'all got out. That is wild.
Jason Wynne
Yeah. Yes.
Dan Casey
I'm have to review what the staff of Roll Bear does. In addition to my lovely head of hair that's attached to my hat that also, apparently it's just a head of hair.
Jason Wynne
No other word to describe it.
Dan Casey
Yes, definitely. The only word I would use is my sweet fit.
Danielle Radford
Yeah. Between y'all, you have three of the five articles of the champions of Tsundar.
Dan Casey
So we're missing the circlet and the final one was a ring, correct?
Busy
Yeah.
Danielle Radford
Ring of Sigbrida. Ring.
Dan Casey
I remember. Correct.
Jason Wynne
So ring, circlet, staff, goblet and tattoo.
Danielle Radford
Okay.
Dan Casey
Hair.
Jason Wynne
Okay.
Danielle Radford
Hair.
Jason Wynne
Sweet tat, gray hair. The weave.
Danielle Radford
The weave. Those were the furs things I wrote in this when I was doing this game.
Jason Wynne
You were making this?
Danielle Radford
Yeah. And it was a lot because you have to guess what.
Jason Wynne
Welcome to the White Lotus in Thailand.
Dan Casey
It's a wellness center.
Becca Scott
You should get a facial. The lady in the airport thought you were my dad.
Danielle Radford
My God.
Amy Vorpahl
The Emmy award winning HBO original series returns.
Unnamed Guest
There has been more crime on the island.
Becca Scott
I'm a little freaked out. What happens in Thailand stays entitled.
Amy Vorpahl
What does that mean? It means we're not dead yet.
Danielle Radford
Amen.
Unnamed Guest
Amen.
Amy Vorpahl
A new season of the HBO original.

Danielle Radford
Come up with names. First and last names. No. Well, they do have last names.
Dan Casey
I was a big fan of the names this episode, especially Boone. Ruby Throat.
Jason Wynne
Ruby Throat, Yes.
Busy
Ruby Throat. Ruby Throat is definitely Boonefish.
Dan Casey
So long. Oh, pronunciation.
Danielle Radford
Yeah. Yeah.
Dan Casey
There's a lot of dust that can form, which is why they want it swept up, because it aggravates the ruby throat. It's ruby in color. Because it's aggravated.
Danielle Radford
Okay.
Dan Casey
Yeah.
Danielle Radford
I mean, that's why he works outside now. I mean, maybe that's why you wrote.
Jason Wynne
Down I was in the mirror in your email.
Danielle Radford
That is the hyoid. That is the hyoid they're looking for. It's a ruby throated dwarf, actually, not a goblin.
Jason Wynne
So in your lore, like, Becca, I'm curious, do you get notes about us? Do you know much about, like, what these guys are about it? You really just come in, local idiots approach you.
Amy Vorpahl
Yeah. As it pertains to the story. I know a bit about your death and unmaking and remaking as skeletons and. Yeah, just, you know, the summary of this date, which was a lot.
Danielle Radford
It's like, we get to this level of episode and it's like, well, two hours of an email later, that's why.
Dan Casey
Unzik was like, I have to hear this story another time.
Busy
That's good. It's like, oh, Becca, you will be hanging out with Three Dip. And then also you'll be hanging out with Busy and Vic.
Danielle Radford
Well, that's like I told Becca. I was like, I'm so glad I know you, because I don't know, I know that. I'm like, oh, it's better for me to just send you everything instead of going, these are the things that are important. Because at this stage, I'm like, it's all important.
Amy Vorpahl
I love it.
Danielle Radford
How do I leave anything out at this point?
Amy Vorpahl
Yeah. All I had to do was read it. And then I feel like I know what's going on. Cause being thrown into the deep end if someone else is. When you don't have that much information because people are trying to be nice to you, it's like, no, no, no, no, no, no. I am already playing catch up. Give me everything.
Danielle Radford
Well, you're a dungeon master too, so I knew I could just drop it on you.
Dan Casey
Well, we're about to go from deep lore to deep gore, because next episode we're going to have to face untold horrors just sitting there in a pile in a mound. I don't know what they are, but we're going to find out together in a brand new Sagas of sundry Goblin mode. You can watch the latest episode on Geek and Sundry or wherever fine podcasts are served. Thank you so much for joining us and we'll see you next time. Bye Bye.
