I wasn't happy with what I was seeing on social media, i didn't think people felt comfortable enough to ask real questions. I was newly diagnosed at 14 and have spent most of my teenage life with IBD, now I live my life with an stoma. My goal is to complete an Ironman with my bag and mum! I was always active before IBD I was so close to my 2021 olympic dream, I played football and 7s Rugby for the UAE but my passion was always surfing, the water makes me feel free. Having cancer made me realise how short and unexpected life will be.
