Competition Commission of India or CCI has initiated an inquiry into Google's restrictive policies for real money gaming platforms, prompted by a complaint from the online gaming platform Windsor, which claims discriminatory treatment, the CCI order stated, quote, by granting preferential treatment to select app categories, Google effectively creates a two tier market where some developers are accorded superior access and visibility while others are discriminated against and thus left with a competitive disadvantage. X could soon roll out labels for parody accounts the social media platform is apparently developing a new label for parody or fan commentary accounts so they can more clearly identify themselves as such. If rolled out, parity accounts that adopt them will see a parody account label below the username on the profile page and on their posts as well. This means that there is less chance of someone mixing up a post from a parody account with the real person's account. And finally, bluesky replies will now default to appear by hotness as part of the social media app's 1.95 software update.
