An attack breached Telemessage, a company that provides modified versions of encrypted messaging apps like Signal and Telegram for US Government use, exposing archived messages, contact information and back end logging credentials. Cabinet officials Messages were reportedly not compromised, but data tied to U.S. customs and Border Protection, Coinbase and Scotiabank was accessed. Tele messages Archived chat logs appear to not be end to end encrypted Waymo said in a blog post that it plans to add 2000 more Jaguar I Pace Robotaxis to its fleet next year, bringing the total to 3,500 across San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Austin. It also plans to expand to Atlanta, Miami and Washington, D.C. in 2026. The company is also testing new models, including the Zeekr RT minivan and Hyundai Ioniq 5, and aims to ramp up production at its Arizona facility to eventually build tens of thousands of robotaxis annually. As expected, Apple is appealing a court ruling that bars it from charging developers fees on purchases made outside of the App Store. The judge found that Apple violated a previous anti steering order, accused an Apple executive of lying under oath, and referred the matter for potential criminal investigation. Apple was also sanctioned for abusing attorney client privilege to delay proceedings. South Korea is developing its own hyperloop system called HyperTube, with an $8.8 million research budget and plans to hit speeds of over 1200 km per hour. The project is backed by existing rail infrastructure like KTX and gtx, with researchers building technologies including propulsion control and superconductive magnets. The standard iPhone 18 could also be delayed until early 2027, launching with a follow up to the iPhone 16E. The foldable is reported to feature a book style design with a 5.7 inch outer and nearly 8 inch inner display under display face ID and be under 5 millimeters thick when open. And finally today, Reddit plans to integrate its AI powered Reddit Answers feature directly into its main search bar. Or at least that's what CEO Steve Huffman said during the company's Q1 earnings call. It was previously in beta and housed separately, but Reddit Answers is meant to summarize discussions across the site and now sees 1 million weekly users, says the company.
