Foreign. The following podcast is a Dear Media production. Hello, and welcome back to your favorite podcast.
Jordan Austin
D. What?
Danny Austin
Oh, I'm so sorry. D. Let's start over. Okay.
Jordan Austin
D. Influence. You're just gonna leave me hanging there?
Danny Austin
I know I was. I'm sorry. Well, actually, I think so. They. Can we turn up mine a little bit?
Jordan Austin
Or maybe both?
Danny Austin
Is it my voice that's low, or is it.
Jordan Austin
It's. It's your. I think it's your headphones.
Danny Austin
Okay. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Yeah, that's better. I think that's better.
Jordan Austin
Mine too. Hello. Hello. That's better. Yeah.
Danny Austin
Okay. Oh, my goodness.
Jordan Austin
Should we start over or. No, let's just roll.
Danny Austin
Let's just roll with it.
Jordan Austin
Just keep rolling. It's. It's real. It shows that we're not in this produced, overproduced studio. We're just filming this while you hold your Lola's mom cup in the D Influence room. I know. Too soon.
Danny Austin
So sad. We did pick up Lola's ashes. She's underneath our bed. That's where she likes to.
Jordan Austin
Right there.
Danny Austin
Oh, it is sad because it's like.
Jordan Austin
Producers don't know whether to laugh or not.
Danny Austin
No, it. It's sad because, like. Like, I instantly cried when. When I got Lola. I mean, Hazel's ashes as well, but it's like, what do you do with them? You know, are you supposed to.
Jordan Austin
They tried to sell us this urn, and I was like, oh, the box. Well, we have a box, but they tried to sell us like a. More like. You remember, like, Meet the Parents. Like the.
Danny Austin
Yes, like a pot. A clay pot.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. And I honestly, I. I kind of tripped up in the meeting or in the. You know, when I was there, because I was like. I just. I don't know what Danny would like, decor wise, and so it was tough to choose Lola's ear, so I just went with a pretty safe brown box.
Danny Austin
I didn't even open it. Not the box, but, like, the.
Jordan Austin
I don't think you're supp. Oh. I was like, I don't think you're supposed to open.
Danny Austin
No.
Jordan Austin
The urn.
Danny Austin
No, I. Maybe we should go out and scatter.
Jordan Austin
Them in the wind.
Danny Austin
Do people do that still? Let's think where Lola would want to be underneath our bed.
Jordan Austin
She's kind of where she. Where she loves.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
The place that she. Sorry, I'm not laughing it. She's right where she loves to be.
Danny Austin
Sweet Lola. I was thinking we should take her to, like, behind a Taco Bell. That's right. She loves to be.
Jordan Austin
You Mean, like, where you found her. Yeah, right, That's. I was gonna say that, too, but, you know. Yeah. So sad.
Danny Austin
We have to cut this.
Jordan Austin
Keep some of it in. We have to keep some. People will laugh. People laugh anyway, you know, speaking of edgy jokes.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
I've been. We were just having a conversation with our producer before this, and we were talking about our view of reality, and, like, we all have different algorithms. She's Gen Z. Yeah. And I was like, how do you feel about the world? And she was like, oh, yeah, I think it's. It's doom. And I was like, really? Because all my algorithm is feeding me is like, we are so winning right now.
Danny Austin
Like, as a country.
Jordan Austin
As a country. Like, we are about to so win.
Danny Austin
Well, there's.
Jordan Austin
What is your algorithm? You're. You're Maha.
Danny Austin
I'm Maha. So you're just a bunch of. We're making America healthy again over here. So we're slaying dragons. We got that red dye out of candy. I mean, now we're talking about fluoride and water.
Jordan Austin
Danny's cooking with beef tallow now.
Danny Austin
Tallow, magnesium, hydrogen, water. So I'm really. And I'm in a place where I'm not looking outward, I'm looking inward, and I recommend all of America do that.
Jordan Austin
Right, Right. So my question is, if you're Maha, are you. Are you politically.
Danny Austin
I see.
Jordan Austin
Are you controversial as Maha? Like, do people let you be Maha without being Maga?
Danny Austin
So it's hard because are they the same? People are like, this is not what we should be focused on.
Jordan Austin
Health.
Danny Austin
Yeah. Like. Or like, these are not the. The biggest issues in the world right now. Which I never said that they were. But like I said, I feel like the only way.
Jordan Austin
This girl had the flu 14 times. They're the biggest issues to you?
Danny Austin
Here's the thing, though. The only way we can all become healthy together is if we all focus on our individual healths, whether that's spiritually, mentally, or physically.
Jordan Austin
That is so healthy of you. Say.
Danny Austin
So I'm just like, everybody should look inward. But no, there's. I also see the chaos on the algorithm. Like, I saw Trump and Zelensky. Is that his. Yeah. Fighting, like, not cool. It got a little cuckoo up in that room.
Jordan Austin
Oh, my gosh. Can I show you this video? Just so. Oh, my gosh. I sent this to my friends. You're gonna die laughing. So someone took a clip of those Alinsky and Trump thing, and I'm gonna let her watch it, and then I'll explain it Basically, they took.
Danny Austin
Wait, wait.
Jordan Austin
Okay. So for. For no one like watching this, hopefully they overlay it. But for no one watching this, they basically photoshopped this giant settlers, a catan board in, and it was like Trump saying, you don't have the cards. You don the cards. And he's like, I'm not playing with cards. And it's face of them.
Danny Austin
You don't have the power. You don't have the cards.
Jordan Austin
Them arguing over Settlers at Katan Trade, that was. That was brilliant.
Danny Austin
Internet, that's a funny meme. You know why it's even funnier?
Jordan Austin
Why?
Danny Austin
So we really sad. My friend Janine of 12 years. My friend of 12 years, Janine. I just repeated myself. But word.
Jordan Austin
Did I mention we've been friends for 12 years?
Danny Austin
Did I mention she recently moved to Oklahoma? They announced they moved to Edmond. So sad that she left. But we had a going away party for her. And this is Janine's party. It's a pizza party. The girls go all out on the decor. We're all focused on Janine. Jordan brings Settlers of Catan, like the game that every single female hates, especially Janine. And he has brought this game over to every single friend hangout group that we have had.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And every single time the girls come to me and they're like, jordan brought Settlers.
Jordan Austin
No, it's. It's a bit at this point like, listen, we never play. Our friends have never played this game with me, but I always am like, oh, you know, we're hanging out. We could play Settlers. And everyone's like, no one wants to ever play Settlers. So now I just bring it around as a joke. And like, I walk into every party with this game. And truly, there's always like one person, though, at these parties, and they come up and they're like, bro, nice move.
Danny Austin
We try.
Jordan Austin
Great.
Danny Austin
Nice try. I actually don't mind playing it. I think it's kind of fun. But last time we played it with my mom, like, she gets so feisty. It's hard.
Jordan Austin
So here's the other thing. I want to go back to this Maha versus Maga thing. I want to get slightly controversial. So I just genuinely want to know, are you controversial because you're Maha?
Danny Austin
I don't know. Would you say? Yeah. I mean, okay, yes, it could be controversial because of, like, the vaccines, like the measles outbreaks that are happening right now. That could get a little controversial for sure.
Jordan Austin
So tell me if this is just my algorithm lying to me, but didn't the former director of the CDC go onto a podcast and admit that the CDC had never really, like, hardcore reviewed the vaccine schedule. His name is Robert Red. Red. Not Redford. Robert. Fact checker Robert. It was a clip just going around. I think it was a podcast that just came out. Redfield, Robert Redfield. He just came out and, you know, admitted that the CDC had not deeply investigated the vaccine schedule.
Danny Austin
But I thought we were all on, like, the same page that, like, the CDC and who are, like, corrupt.
Jordan Austin
See this one? This is what I'm confused about. I thought we could talk about these things openly and then just do it our gins. Well, I don't, I am like, am I trapped in my own reality?
Danny Austin
Here's the best thing about a podcast is we don't get live comments, you know, so, like, it's not popping up right now. Like, you're wrong and you're. So you can just talk about things, like, openly.
Jordan Austin
Well, I will tell you one thing. Let me tell you a story. So did I tell you this? This week I found myself with one of the largest chicken supply chain consultants in the country.
Danny Austin
Can't wait to hear about this.
Jordan Austin
No. So price of eggs are up, right? And I asked him, I said, man, you know, chicken, your family's chicken.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
Why are the price of eggs so high? You know, he told me Biden slaughtered like 150 million chickens because of a potential bird flu outbreak. Fact check.
Danny Austin
So what is the bird flu? Do you remember when the, there's swine flu and then there was bird flu? How dangerous were these flus actually?
Jordan Austin
Good question.
Danny Austin
Do we know?
Jordan Austin
We don't know.
Danny Austin
Okay. Yeah. It just. See, my thing is, it seems like American obesity and like, our diet is actually killing us more.
Jordan Austin
You're so Maha.
Danny Austin
I'm just saying, like, it just, she's so mahogany. And it just feels like if we could get ourselves healthy, then when we get the bird flu, we would survive it.
Jordan Austin
Can I tell you something about my week? So did you know that I haven't really eaten any fats in, like, two years?
Danny Austin
Yeah, I, I, I do know that. Because you eat the same thing every day and it's very rigid. And every time we go out to eat, he won't eat anything because he eats before.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. Let me tell you this story. So I've been trying to cut weight for two years, and it was the weirdest thing. Like, I have friends who will drink like a 12 pack of beer and eat some chocolate, and they look great. And I, I will eat just one of those pieces of chocolate and I will retain It. And I have, like, cut my calories down. I've been trying everything on my health journey. Well, this week I had an incident, a little tiff with one of my friends. And it really bothered me. Like, I was like, so can I.
Danny Austin
Can we just tell this story? Yeah, it's not that big of a deal.
Jordan Austin
Okay.
Danny Austin
So I'm taking a shower and minding my own business. Listen to my praise of worship music. This has never happened. Okay? Jordan comes storming in the bathroom, throws the door open, and he's like, babe, you're not going to believe what happened. And I was like. I was kind of bracing for, like. I was like, what happened at the gym? Did you get in a fight? Did someone cut you off when you were driving? He's like, okay, so, you know, our friend Connor, he texted me the night before and asked me if I wanted to go skiing. And I was like, yeah, man. And then the next morning, he texted and said, never mind. I'm going with my family instead. Can you believe that? And I was like, what's the problem? Like, no. And he's like, well, he asked us if we wanted to go, and then he pulled out, like, so flaky. And I was like, okay, he's going with his family. It's not like he invited, like, his other best friends. Like. And Jordan was like. Had this, like, visceral frustrated reaction to it. And I was like, what is going on? Like, why is he so angry about this? Like, you literally found out the night before.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And so then I'm like, so we're talking more about it, and I'm trying to be, like, a good wife.
Jordan Austin
I'm trying to ask questions, and I don't know. Listen, Danny and I have been going through a lot of renewing of our spirits, our minds, our communication, our marriage. And honestly, when you're going through so much growth, I was like, oh, my gosh. I'm just so tired of growing. Like, I thought that I was basically uncovering, like. Like, bad stuff in me. And it was like, coming to the surface and coming out.
Danny Austin
You're having to deal with your emotions instead of. Instead of being like, oh, whatever. You're like, oh, I'm upset with Connor now.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. So I was like, oh, my gosh. I just didn't know. Like, I've just been burying things.
Danny Austin
Yes.
Jordan Austin
That I feel. And I was like, I'm actually really mad that he didn't. He pulled out of the ski trip. Well, what really happened was I.
Danny Austin
Guys. So we got out of the shower and we're talking about it more. And like, I kind of start like, you know, getting curious, asking more questions. And like, I kind of start telling him like, hey, like, babe, I love you, but this is not that big of a deal.
Jordan Austin
Like, and then I was like, you don't understand me. You're. You're gaslighting me. And then I was like, how dare you? Like, this means everything. This is everything.
Danny Austin
So then I, I was like, jordan, are you taking like testosterone or are you on some type of vitamin that is like, affecting your mood? What's going on?
Jordan Austin
So then, so first of all, I'm natty. It's what they call it at the gym. I'm not on steroids and I'm not on testosterone.
Danny Austin
Oh, man, you really, really fooled us. Really. Liar.
Jordan Austin
That's so funny. That was good. That was really good. No, but honestly, I. So about two weeks ago, I was talking to ChatGPT and I was like, chatgpt, why can my friends drink 12 packs and eat chocolate and they have 6 packs and I don't? And chatgpt analyzed my diet. I uploaded all of my fit my fitness pal meal logs, which I had tracked for a week to chat gbt. And chatgpt is like, bro, you don't have any fats in your diet. And I was like, yeah, chatgpt, I don't eat fats because I'm trying not to have fat. And then it gave me this huge lecture, pretty condescending, about how you have to have healthy fats for hormone regulation. So for two, the week after that, I started adding like grass fed butter and not a ton, but just like enough to get like, my fats in. And I asked you, like, really convicted me. And I was like, oh no. I was like, I have changed my diet. And so then I go to ChatGPT and I'm like, chatgpt, listen, I'm having like mood swings, like irritable and like fits of rage. Is this normal? And it's like, and. And Chad GPT goes, yeah, Jordan, your body's like, re regulating, like, having fats. Like you're gonna feel irritable.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
For the next like two weeks. And then I said, is this like how Danny feels when she's PMSing? And it said, yeah, Jordan, this is how it happens. And it happens to her every single month. And then I go to Danny and I gave her a big hug and I said, I'm sorry, I'm PMSing.
Danny Austin
And I said, can you imagine having that once a month or can you imagine that? For nine to ten months straight when you're pregnant.
Jordan Austin
Because like I knew that you were right. Like I knew it wasn't a big deal, but to me it was. It was everything.
Danny Austin
I mean, you literally busted in my shower. Like I was just washing my hair.
Jordan Austin
Like, no, I know.
Danny Austin
You were so angry.
Jordan Austin
And so there's like if you encountered me within the past two weeks of my life and you found me to be a little bit irritable, a little bit snippy, a little bit more irrational, like I just want y'all to know it's because I'm eating butter now.
Danny Austin
Because you're eating grass fed butter.
Jordan Austin
We're a family of five now and it's more important than ever to make sure our kids are getting the vitamins they need to stay healthy. One of my favorite kids brands is Haya, the pediatrician approved Super Power Chewable Vitamin. The founders are dads who were shocked to learn what ingredients were in most children's vitamins. They spent three years curating top pediatrician, nutritionist, scientists and parents to formulate a super power chewable made with 15 essential vitamins and minerals while also including a blend of 12 fruits and veggies. The result is Haya, a daily children's vitamin that's supercharged to help fill in the gaps and always with zero added sugar and zero gummy junk so you can be confident your kids are getting the full body nourishment they need to grow into healthy adults. Y'all know I've been on a health kick ever since 2024 and part of this journey is upping my protein intake every day. As I'm sure you've heard Danny mention on how much protein I eat in a day on the podcast, you could say it's a lot with limited options for protein packed meals that can get rather redundant. This is where Premier Protein comes in. They're ready to grab drinks, are high in protein and with 1 gram of sugar it makes it an easy and fun way to make your health journey happen. Plus they have so many different flavors like cake batter, caramel, chocolate, peanut butter and so much more. I never get bored because I could have a different flavor every day if I wanted to. Staying healthy can be hard, but Premier Protein makes it fun and easy. Visit premier protein.com and go to where to Buy to find a retailer near you or to find where to buy online. Premier Protein Sweeten the Journey so funny.

We were just talking about meat prices on the podcast. Since 2017, over 140000 family farms in the US have shut down. Why? Because a lot of the meat in grocery stores isn't coming from American farms anymore. It's important from imported from overseas where mass production and low cost take priority over the true quality. This is just another reason why Jordan and I love Good Ranchers. This ring. We need to change that. Their brand stands for integrity, tradition and 100American raised meat. All products on goodranchers.com have trustworthy ingredients. Their meat is born and raised and harvested right here in the usa. So you know exactly where it comes from. It's free from hidden additives. There are no antibiotics ever, no added hormones and no seed oils. Just one simple ingredient you can read and that's meat. And speaking of no seed oils, their seed oil free chicken nuggets are officially back in stock. These nuggets are made with whole cuts of chicken. They're gluten free, allergen safe and packed with clean, delicious flavor. You can feel good about serving, but the best part of all their boxes, Good Ranchers is delivered straight to your door, offering you true farm to table transparency. So you're supporting American Ranchers and getting meat you can feel good about serving clean, simple and exactly as it should be. And you get to skip the grocery store as a whole. Right now Good Ranchers is running their Spring into Action promotion so you and your family can support local ranchers and easily get American Quality delivered right to your door. When you subscribe to any of their boxes, you'll get to decide if you want free chicken nuggets, the same ones I mentioned earlier, free bacon, ground beef or wild caught salmon in every order for a year. Make sure to use my code Dani at checkout to get $40 off your first order too. And seriously, this is the best offer Good Ranchers has ever given. You won't find it anywhere else. To spring into action and help American Farms with every purchase, visit goodranchers.com now. And remember to use my code Danny to get free meat for a year and $40 off good ranchers American meat delivered.
Jordan Austin
But honestly, the craziest thing in real talk, Maha talk is I have started losing weight.
Danny Austin
Yeah, of course, because you're eating a more balanced.
Jordan Austin
Listen, my whole 2025 is a series of counterintuitive thoughts. The more that I let Dany just do her own thing and be autonomous, the more she respects me and loves me. Makes no sense. I did everything for you for two years. Got nothing. If I. If you feel autonomous because I don't.
Danny Austin
Want a father like I want a husband.
Jordan Austin
No, for real. So that's counterintuitive. If I eat butter, I actually start losing weight. Not gaining weight makes no sense. And so like there's like an episode of Seinfeld where like George Costanza like does everything opposite of what he thinks and he ends up getting like all these raises and like he gets this like really pretty girlfriend. And I feel like I'm in that era of my life where I'm like, I'm going to what would Jordan last year do? I'm going to do the opposite of that. And I think my life is going to totally change.
Danny Austin
It reminds me of when Tony Robbins got that poisoning from eating the same thing every day. The.
Jordan Austin
Oh yeah, he got mercury.
Danny Austin
Mercury poisoning from eating same salmon or fish every day.
Jordan Austin
I know.
Danny Austin
And he would. He was like literally poisoning his body, like slowly over time with mercury and then didn't realize it until he was like extremely sick, like had to be hospitalized.
Jordan Austin
I just hate how, I hate how there's such thing as like too much of a good thing because I'm such a rule follower. I'm so rigid and like, it's just. It kills me every time.
Danny Austin
I know, I know. But like that's why they always say like at the end of the day, like health is all about eating a well balanced diet. Like, well balanced. You have to have your healthy fats, your proteins.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Your carbs, everything.
Jordan Austin
No, for sure.
Danny Austin
But yeah, you. You go pretty hard in the pain, which is one of the greatest things about you, is you have this insane dedication and drive and discipline, but it's just like, you have to be driven and disciplined towards the right thing or you're going to go too hard.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, we were listening to that Mr. Beast podcast.
Danny Austin
Yeah. I related so much to that podcast.
Jordan Austin
It was. The episode is, I think if you Google diary of a CEO Mr. Beast interview. Around 40 minutes in, he starts being open.
Danny Austin
49.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, 49 minutes. And he starts being extremely open about how his rigidity and being the best and being the biggest YouTuber is actually making him so miserable.
Danny Austin
Well, they asked him. He talks about his mental health, and they ask him, like, are you happy? And he's pretty much, like, he doesn't say it out outright, but he's like, like, I'm. I'm miserable. Miserable because I'm willing to push myself in ways that nobody else is. Is willing to push themselves. Like, I'm willing to sacrifice in ways nobody else is. And it, like, no one would want to live the life that I live. And that's what makes me great. It makes me successful. But, like, you can't be great in success. Successful and be, like, basically content.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And. And happy with your life and well balanced and, like. And he was just, like, he just keeps pushing himself every single day. And he talked about having the flu and he talked about getting sick. And, like, still, he was like, so sick. And still, like, he knew that he had to film these videos. So he's flying, like, 200 days out of the year, 250 days out of the year, and just going and going because he knows at the end of the day, that's what's going to make him great. But it's like, yeah, he kind of, like, admitted that it, like, he's miserable.
Jordan Austin
Well, he said. And I think what you and I related to the most was he was talking about the cycle, and the cycle is, like, he has a video that just crushes it. And then he rests for a day, and then he gets this itch of, like, I've got to get that dopamine rush again. And so then he'll come out with, like, stranded on a deserted island for seven days or, like, locking myself in a coffin for three days. And he keeps one upping himself. But he kind of talks about how the high of each one up is not enough anymore. The misery of having to chase the next thing is really the misery that we technically got caught in. Yeah, right. It's why we blew up the life.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
It's a cycle, but he's still going. And what's so crazy about Mr. Beast is, you know, he's out there raising money right now. We got invited to invest. Invest in feastables. No, no, Mr. Beast, like, the pitch that we got was, do you want to invest in Mr. Beast? Because Mr. Beast is going to be the next Disney. And so he's like, I'm listening to this interview in one ear, and then I'm getting this, like, oh, we're going to go and be the next Disney another year. And I'm like, this guy's not going to make it.
Danny Austin
I don't know. Or he. He will because he's willing to sacrifice everything. You know, it's interesting that he just got engaged, too, and he was talking about his fiance, and, like, he's like, there's very few people on this planet that could, like, I could have a healthy relationship with. And he's like, why? And he's like, because I need someone that basically is okay. Like, he's in. In, like, more words or less, he said, I need someone that's okay at being, like, second in my life. Like, work will always be, like, number one. And I need someone that's, like, confident enough and has their own life enough to be number two.
Jordan Austin
Oh, is that what you heard? I heard under the scenes was like, I need someone who's probably more codependent. That's what I heard.
Danny Austin
No, because she does her own thing. Like, he. She has her own life. Like, she is basically, like, a genius. Like, I looked at this girl on.
Jordan Austin
Oh, she is.
Danny Austin
Yeah, she's extremely intelligent and she's always learning and, like, she's in school and. And he says that, like, basically when they get together, like, they just talk about, like, the lectures that she's, like, learning about and what she's learning, and then she goes off and, like, does her own thing. Like, because he's like, I need somebody that's okay with me being gone for two weeks and doesn't need me.
Jordan Austin
Interesting.
Danny Austin
So she's very independent is what. What I heard. But she's also willing to, like, sacrifice. He's like, it's very hard to find someone that's as smart and as, like, intelligent and driven as. As she is, but also willing to put her stuff to the side to follow him around. Essentially.
Jordan Austin
All I can think about is, like, when they have kids I know.
Danny Austin
I just feel like this like, whole marriage thing, like, to him, like, it might be a little eye opening after, like, I think that novelty is gonna wear off and you're gonna want someone that's willing to make sacrifices to put you.
Jordan Austin
Yes.
Danny Austin
In your relationship.
Jordan Austin
We're rooting for him.
Danny Austin
Yeah. Yeah.
Jordan Austin
We passed on the investment, but yeah, I was like, I don't know.
Danny Austin
He did say that he. I related to him too, and he started talking about Feastables and he was like, he said that where he gets excited is when he gets to work on his company and grow his company. But he's like, the only thing is I have found joy in something that, like, I can be replaced at and no one can replace me on camera. And he was like, out of all the things that I like, it's like the one that I can be replaced for and like the camera work and filming, no one can take that. So he. He feels like he's stuck at Divi.
Jordan Austin
I never told you this, but at Divi, we had a couple people apply for, like, C level positions that actually came from Feastables. And I never talked to them, but I think someone on our team did. And they just talked about the way that he kind of built it was around Jimmy, Mr. Beast. And so it was even really hard for these, like, high powered executives to build the brand beyond him because the way they designed it. Whereas I think with Divi, we were very intentional. Very intentional about not building it to where you had another thing. Yeah, it's. Trust me, it's so much harder. Like, it's so much easier to do what he's doing.
Danny Austin
Yeah, it would have been easier for me to launch everything or for me to be posting all the links, but. But like, yeah, we didn't want that.
Jordan Austin
But I can't imagine what he's going through because he talked a lot about, like, context switching. And I just remember, like 2022, it was like you had your. We had your thing over here and then we had Divi. And it was just so hard to come to you and be like, danny, you just filmed this video. You're exhausted. Now. Can you make a really important decision on this product? Do you like this formula? And you're like, ah, it's like maddening. It's maddening.
Danny Austin
But I kind of liked doing that. I feel like that's harder for you.
Jordan Austin
Context switching.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
No, baby, we get so upset all the time.
Danny Austin
Oh, I would. Okay.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Danny Austin
Sorry. I was. Sorry all the time. I was just thinking about I had one example pop in my, my, mine when we were filming that YouTube video for Matt James and he was over with Rachel.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And we were filming and we're like on camera at the same time. I'm like hosting them, I'm entertaining them. And then our old CEO Divi showed up to like approve some products and packaging components and stuff. And like, as I have these guests in my house, we're filming a YouTube video. Like we're were like saying lines I had to go over and like make all these big decisions for like our scalp serum.
Jordan Austin
Those are huge decisions too.
Danny Austin
I know. And I thought I hit him to like a champ.
Jordan Austin
And I was like, well, you almost made, I think you almost made the wrong decision. Do you remember? And then I was walking out and I was like, no, no, you can't do this. Like you can't change this bottle.
Danny Austin
Yeah, you're right. You're right.
Jordan Austin
Anyway, anyway.
Danny Austin
Yeah, so speaking of making America healthy again.
Jordan Austin
Well, so last thing I will say about this, did you hear that the food companies are now trying to get include ingredients that are getting around? Ozempic and GLP1s?
Danny Austin
Wait, what do you mean getting around?
Jordan Austin
So let me read you this headline because it'll help you understand. So I saved it on Twitter for you, cuz I knew it just make you angry.
Danny Austin
Oh.
Jordan Austin
The headline is OIC could crush the junk food industry. But the junk food industry is fighting back.
Danny Austin
Oh, I saw this.
Jordan Austin
As revolutionary new weight loss drugs turn consumers off ultra processed foods. The industry is on the hunt for new products. So basically this is from Jillian Michaels, health person. Yeah, Generally respected. It appears that the major food corporations are now attempting to engineer their products in ways that circumvent the effects of GLP1 receptors.
Danny Austin
Yes.
Jordan Austin
Effectively counteracting the appetite suppressing mechanisms of these widely used weight loss medications. So basically like it is crazy.
Danny Austin
Crazy.
Jordan Austin
But did you know that like when all, like when tobacco started getting more regulated, all of the tobacco companies ended up buying A lot of the food companies that we now like buy from. So they all have like a trace back to the addiction of like cigarettes and nicotine. And so it makes sense that they're basically trying to engineer around this whole thing. But if they pull it off, that's like, I'm kind of not even mad. I'm like, that's so maniacally genius.
Danny Austin
Yeah, no, they, they definitely will too. But I've been listening to so much Gary Breca and I've been listening to all the seed oil talk. Which seed oils are in everything. But then the craziest thing is they're talking about how, how. Okay, so seed oils are the worst. But then they're talking about how avocado oil and olive oil are also not great for you because of the ratio of like linoleic acid. So like your omega 6 fatty acids to omega 3 fatty acids. Like your omega 6 and threes, it should be like a 1 to 1 ratio. But some of these oils are like a 20 to 1 ratio or a 30 to 1 ratio. So they're just really, really high in omega 6s. That's why we always take like omega 3 fish oil. And. But the only one that's like really good is. Or the only way to cook essentially that is like a good linoleic acid ratio is beef tallow. So then I'm like, do you have to buy beef tallow now to like, cook? And like, are. Are so these like siete, like food chips and all these like goldfish, are they supposed to be cooking in beef tallow sesh? Like, is that even possible? But the. What I'm really getting to is like all these processed foods with all these seed oils and whatever it is. Like, yes, avocado oil is better than seed oils. But like just, it's all bad. Like you should be eating whole foods and it really just.
Jordan Austin
Whole food.
Danny Austin
Whole foods, like, not processed.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
So then I was like, oh my gosh, do I need to start making like my own Cheetos and my own crackers? Like, I get how people start making sourdough bread. Yeah, like, I get it now. I didn't understand the craze before it. Now I understand, like, why people cook from scratch. Like, it's just, it's so bad. All the ingredients in our foods.
Jordan Austin
I also now understand why grandma go cooked with so much butter. She was just trying to do the right thing. She just knew this is hormone regulation.
Danny Austin

Jordan Austin
That would be a brand pivot, let me tell you.
Danny Austin
I've thought about making my own crackers.
Jordan Austin
Huh?
Danny Austin
Like, because that's what I eat the most of. I would say like chips and crackers.
Jordan Austin
So at least she's honest. Like she's like, I'm so Maha.
Danny Austin
Like I just need like and then I'm just really hoping like the CTE chips now that they're bought out, I think. Who bought them? Like Walmart or something.
Jordan Austin
I thought it was like PepsiCo. No.
Danny Austin
Yeah. Was it Pepsi? I just hope that they don't mess up their, their ingredients. Those are still pretty clean.
Jordan Austin
We can always protest the seed oils. No, just outside of their offices. If they start changing.
Danny Austin
They're from Austin. They're. But. But they've sold.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
So we'll go to Pepsi coast offices.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, it's gated, but we can get in there.
Danny Austin
I've been reading also a lot about mental health. You know my book the Whole Brainchild.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
I'm reading so many books, like, it's a little overwhelming.
Jordan Austin
We're kind of like pretty studious these days.
Danny Austin
No. I also started reading a book about. It's called Vax Facts about vaccines. It's wild. We won't go there.
Jordan Austin
But yeah, bold.
Danny Austin
But if you're looking, if you're looking for a book about Vax Vacation Facts, like it's called Vax Facts. It's so good.
Jordan Austin
You know that book, you know about the author of that book, he got his medical license removed because he, he disagreed with some of the vaccine schedule. And what I didn't know that someone told me when they gave you that book was that if you oppose the vaccine schedule, you can actually have your medical license removed.
Danny Austin
Oh yeah. That's why so many. He talks about this in the book, but that's why so many doctors are silent when it comes to like he, like a lot of doctors, if you, if they kind of agree with you with the vaccine schedule, they can't tell you that. So a lot of them are just recommending this book and are like, I can't tell you. So just go read this and then you tell me what you want to do.
Jordan Austin
Which is so crazy. It's also why I was like kind of just trying to like chit chat with the pediatrician because, you know, we've delayed a couple. And I was like, hey, like, come on, you like all these? Yeah, you want all five of these? Come on. And she was like, like I can know. I knew she was like, wanted to talk. She wanted to talk. Yeah. And she, and she wouldn't. She'd be like, oh, you know, like, she was like, I mean, you know, do you do what you want?
Danny Austin
But like she could lose her right to practice. Like, think about all the money and time that she spent in medical school to get to where she's at. And then from one conversation it could all be taken away. That's why they don't Talk about it. It's scary.
Jordan Austin
Same reason we didn't talk about politics in 2020.
Danny Austin
But now, babe, we're not talking about politics. Stop it. No, I'm not confident.
Jordan Austin
No, I'm not talking about politics. I'm saying it's the same gag order that we were all under. Yeah.
Danny Austin
Yeah. It's so crazy, though, because it's like. It's like medical advice that, like, your doctor should be able to talk about.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And it's so messed up.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. And your followers are like, danny, it's just pura. Like, just tell us what politically you think and lose the pura deal.
Danny Austin
Anyway, so I've been reading this other book called the Whole Brain Child, and it's all about. I think I talked about this yesterday, but getting your. Yesterday, wow. Last episode. About getting your child horizontally integrated. Because. And I was thinking about this. So it's talking about, like, the left and right side of your brain. And your right side of your brain is more about, like, emotions and entertainment and feelings. Left side of your brain is more about logic and reason and. And language. And when you're a child, the right side dominates. Like, that's all you. You make every decision off of, like, emotion. There's not a lot of logic and reasoning that comes in until you're about 4, 4 or 5. And it was just talking about, for.
Jordan Austin
Me, 34 or 34. But I'm stunted. I'm learning.
Danny Austin
No, but it was talking about how the goal in parenting is to try to get your child to be horizontally integrated. So, like, when they're feeling all these emotions, you try. You have to kind of help them understand the left side, like, the logic and the language and the reasoning. And so you have to be heavy on that in parenting. But then I was thinking about it, and I was like, the way they're describing a child brain is like, our marriage. Like, you are so the left side of the brain, and I'm so the right side. Yes. Like, everything. And, like, you're so heavy in all of that, and I'm so heavy in the emotional, like, spontaneity, whatever. And we just need to find out a way to be horizontally integrated.
Jordan Austin
I know. We're so close. Like, guys, listen. We're working on ourselves so hard. What we said. What did we say this week? We were like, I'm just so. Like, we're so close to being in sync.
Danny Austin
I know.
Jordan Austin
We're so close.
Danny Austin
Yeah. We're almost, like, integrated.
Jordan Austin
It's like we're both improving individually.
Danny Austin
Do this a heart oh, but I.
Jordan Austin
Don'T feel a heart yet. We're not in sync yet. Okay, that was a bad analogy. But what. What I would say is, like, Danny's amazing mom killing it, crushing it, working on her.
Danny Austin
I'm, like, actually crushing the game of mommy.
Jordan Austin
No, I. The reason you, like. My eyes welled up a second ago. Did you see that? No, it was, like, five seconds ago.
Danny Austin
Oh, no, I didn't.
Jordan Austin
Oh, it's because every time I think about it, I almost cry. Because you're such a good mom. What? No, truly. Look, they're welling up right now.
Danny Austin
Stop. Tell me more. Why am I a great mom?
Jordan Austin
No, I mean, I. You just. You put your mind to it, like, this year, and you just, like, full on went and did it. Like, I mean, you just. You're, like, outside playing soccer with Stella, and I'm like, damn, it's great. No, I mean, they, like, love you, and. And I just. You sense it in our home. We've talked about this, like, every episode. We don't have to go down it, but it's like there's just a. There's an aspect of you that can't be replaced. No nanny can do it. Like, no. Like, I can't do it. There's just this, like, heart of the home you can't replace. But on a different topic, you know, do you want to tell them what you diagnosed me with this week?
Danny Austin
What was it? There's so many things I diagnosed you with.
Jordan Austin
Let's just talk about Dick mode. Oh, yeah, that's the one you diagnosed me with.
Danny Austin
Yeah. He has this thing, it's called Dick mode, where he just becomes a dick for, like.
Jordan Austin
I've never heard this in an entirety of our marriage, and I was shocked by it. I. I think about it every single day.
Danny Austin
I was like, I tell them the Uber story.
Jordan Austin
No.
Danny Austin
Okay, sorry.
Jordan Austin
No.
Danny Austin
Okay, sorry.
Jordan Austin
Because that was hard because I was. I was in dick mode in the Uber because I was worried about you being canceled.
Danny Austin
Let's just tell the story, okay? We don't have to. I don't want to embarrass you.
Jordan Austin
No, it's okay.
Danny Austin
That's okay. I won't.
Jordan Austin
But, yeah.
Danny Austin
Anyway, my point is. Is. Okay, so there are times.
Jordan Austin
Don't you tell them what it was about?
Danny Austin
What?
Jordan Austin
They'll laugh. They know the story.
Danny Austin
Oh, the reality TV show?
Jordan Austin
Yeah, reality TV show.
Danny Austin
We can't tell the whole story. Okay, so this reality TV show that I said no to, they. They want me telling you. They just. They can't give it Up. So I told them no. And then Jenny, who's basically my manager, she got on a. She like emailed the. The agency and was like, yeah, Danny's like, the production company. Danny's out. She's not gonna be doing it. And then like a week later, Jenny called me and she's like, hey, just so you know, they're making it really difficult for you to back out. And I was like, well, what do you mean? Just tell them no, like, we. We signed the contract, but in the contract it said I could back out anytime. And she's like, no, like, they really want to talk to you. The CEO of the production company wants to get on the phone with Jordan and you, but mainly Jordan, and figure out if there's a way that we can like, make this work.
Jordan Austin
And I was like, no, get away from me, Satan.
Danny Austin
So. So then I was like, oh, my gosh, this is so funny, because we were just talking about how maybe if we were producers on the show, it would work out. Or we were talking about how maybe we would, like, want to actually produce our own show one day.
Jordan Austin
Well, what we said, to be clear, was we were in the car and I was like, I thought it was a genius move that you were like, I'm gonna ask to be a producer. Because I was like, oh, that's good control that you have. And then, and then the conversation, now.
Danny Austin
That'S something I could get behind. You literally said that sentence.
Jordan Austin
Probably so. Because I think we've always felt that we would be good reality TV show producers.
Danny Austin
Okay?
Jordan Austin
We would be a good mix of drama, but wholesome.
Danny Austin
See, I'm not making this ish up. Like you, you said stuff like this and you, you got excited about that when we were looking at that house in the car. So, so anyway, like, this conversation was on speakerphone, so Jordan, like heard it all. And so then I hung up the phone and I'm like, babe, they can't get enough of this, you know? And. And I'm like, would you get on the phone with them? And Jordan went in a full on dick mode and was like, just making all these days, like, oh, absolutely not. Like, oh my God. And I was like, oh, my God, what a douche. And so I walked away because I was just like, I'm not gonna deal with this right now. Like, so I went to my room and you were like, you followed me. And you're like, are you okay? And I was like, I just am fearful that we'll never be able to have a conversation whenever it goes Outside of what Jordan wants. Like, why can't we just listen, learn, have a conversation with this guy? See where the wind blows us? You never know what could come from it. And so then the conversation, our fight, like, went three or four layers deeper. It was like a whole thing. And Jordan's like, I feel like you have deeper resentment toward me. Like, I feel like there's something else. And I said, I want to tell you, but I'm scared to tell you. And he was like, I thought it.
Jordan Austin
Was going to be like, yeah, you know, this one time you hurt my feeling. You go, okay, yeah, I'll tell you. Yeah, you have a dick mode. And you went into dick mode. And to be clear, Danny's never said the D word in our entire marriage. So I'm shell shocked. And I'm like. It was like a curveball for me. I was like, what? And I was like. But I received it well. I go, wow, thank you for telling me that. I feel like this makes me really understand where you're coming from. And then. Yeah. I mean, the past, like, seven days since that happened, I've just been, like, really contemplating this dick mode thing.
Danny Austin
Because the reason I call it dick mode is because I don't think that you're a dick inherently. Is dick a bad word? I've never really used it before. It just sounds so dirty when I say it, though. It's okay. Just turn this off if your kids are around.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, turn it off. Six or seven dicks that we said.
Danny Austin
Should I just call it D mode?
Jordan Austin
Yeah, call it D mode for sake.
Danny Austin
Yeah. I wonder if dick is a bad word. Such a gross word anyway.
Jordan Austin
Well. And that's why I'm so curious. Why did you use it at me?
Danny Austin
Because it just felt right. It just felt right. It really did. And so. Because it's kind of funny, too. But I don't feel like you're inherently a D. I feel like you go into D mode. Like that's a thing. So, like. And it's. It. It comes out ever so often. It's not all the time. So that's. That's a good part.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. I still feel very defensive about this reality TV show.
Danny Austin
Really? Here's the thing, though.
Jordan Austin
Say it.
Danny Austin
The thing is, is you gave me the trust and freedom to figure out my own process.
Jordan Austin
I know I did.
Danny Austin
So I think what's probably helped me.
Jordan Austin
I'm kidding. Okay.
Danny Austin
I think what's probably wise is for us not to talk about it anymore.
Jordan Austin
The reality TV show. I thought it was dead. I thought it Was dead when I left. Left on site.
Danny Austin
It was. But you were on the phone call when I. When Jenny called. You heard everything.
Jordan Austin
I know. That's why. Yeah. It's just hard because you're like, they want me. It's like, oh, it's so back. And I'm just like this. I'm like, yeah, I'll talk to the CEO. Like, leave us alone. I. I don't mean that. Sorry. You can talk to my wife and us.
Danny Austin
Anyway, they did say that I could still film the pilot and then make a decision afterwards and I could learn more from filming the pilot.
Jordan Austin
Oh, this is breaking news. I didn't know this. Are you serious?
Danny Austin
Well, I have a call with. That's what my call at 2 is about. Wow. How does it make you feel?
Jordan Austin
Wow. This is like real life. Take. I feel scared.
Danny Austin
Oh, God. Okay.
Jordan Austin
I feel very fearful.
Danny Austin
Okay.
Jordan Austin
But I accept.
Danny Austin
You accept?
Jordan Austin
I accept. I accept that this is your decision.
Danny Austin
You accept or you trust me? Oh. Oh. There's hesitation. What? Do you not trust me with.
Jordan Austin
Hamster wheels? I think I do. I think I do.
Danny Austin
You think you do. I'm going to get curious here.
Jordan Austin
Okay.
Danny Austin
What have I done lately, recently that scares you that I might get back.
Jordan Austin
On the hamster wheel outside of this reality TV show? Nothing.
Danny Austin
What have I done with the reality show that makes you fearful of the hamster wheel?
Jordan Austin
I don't know how to explain it. It's just a look in your eye. I just know you want it. I think I know that you want it. And I know that when you want something, it's like me. Like it's. It's all or nothing. So you're doing the pilot for real?
Danny Austin
I haven't decided. I have a. I have a call at 2 today about it.
Jordan Austin
I wish I didn't know that I was going to go on a walk and just have a really pleasant time with myself. Now I'm just going to.
Danny Austin
That would be codependent if you didn't go on your walk.
Jordan Austin
No, I'm gonna go on my walk. I'm just gonna have to listen to some loud metal music.
Danny Austin
Or maybe praise and worship.
Jordan Austin
Or praise and worship.
Danny Austin
Either way.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. No, honestly, I feel. I genuinely. We had a breakthrough with me this week. I can't talk about it because it's like. It's too deep. But we had a breakthrough with me this week, and this all just. This all dates back to my childhood. We're fine.
Danny Austin
So do you feel like in. I'm. I'm asking this, like, because I'm genuinely curious. Like, do you feel like you're in a good place to make or to have opinions about this?
Jordan Austin
I guess probably. No. I would say I'm early. I would define myself as early recovery from codependency and a lot of my issues. So probably not.
Danny Austin
Okay, okay.
Jordan Austin
Do you think you're in a good place?
Danny Austin
100% okay. 110% okay. But that's just me.
Jordan Austin
That's okay. I mean, I really am not feeling that much stress on this reality TV show thing.
Danny Austin
Oh, wow. Okay, good.
Jordan Austin
My last note was, I want to share this meme that you sent me.
Danny Austin
Wait, before? Okay. Okay.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, this meme. That. And it's hard because you can't. It's a video, so I'm just going to read what it says. Danny sent me a meme after she called me. Yeah, this I'm gonna play after I.
Danny Austin
Called him a dick.
Jordan Austin
So it says you're an outrageous, temperamental, bad mannered female. But I realized I can't live without you. And it's a shameful confession to make. And you sent me that with the like, kind of like that emoji that's like.
Danny Austin
No, it was the emoji that was.
Jordan Austin
Like, oh, yeah, that was like the teeth. And it's like, sorry, like. And it's the truth. Like, it really is the truth. So go do your reality TV show. You bad mannered, ill tempered, outrageous, outrageous female. And it's okay. That's like I've sent, I sent that all. I sent that to, like, all my friends.
Danny Austin
Oh, you did?
Jordan Austin
And they all just died laughing. Because it's how we all feel. Yeah, we all feel it.
Danny Austin
Well, can we switch gears a little bit?
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
I want to talk about a couple of my latest reels. Not that you've seen them.
Jordan Austin
Okay.
Danny Austin
So I've had a couple where I am. They're talking about pumping, like, relating to pumping.
Jordan Austin
Sure.
Danny Austin
And the comments are wild on these reels. Yes, it's. It's mainly women that haven't probably breastfed in like 20 years having opinions about my content. First of all, they are. A lot of them are like, why are you pumping? Like, why pump when you could breastfeed? But then a lot of them are like, this is so disrespectful to your body. Why are you showing this?
Jordan Austin
What?
Danny Austin
Like, it's too much to be sharing. Like, it's too. And I. And it's not like, okay, I will say I did show my nipples.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, I was gonna say you, you've. You've had to Have a nip slip.
Danny Austin
Yeah. But, like, it's not, like, really, like, the whole thing. Like, it's like. It's like you can't really see what's going on. But anyway, you just see a little, like, pink. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. But, like, it's so. It's just wild to me because I know. Trust me. Like, I don't. It's not like I, like, want to be, like, showing off, like, my boobs or anything, but it's just, like, I am doing it so much. Like, you pump so much during the day that that's just what is happening. Like, you're feeding a child with, like, something that your body is making. And so it's very, like, natural, you know, like, in Europe, the woman just bust out the boob and start feeding.
Jordan Austin
Or that beach in Mexico.
Danny Austin
The beach in Mexico. This is true. But, like, it's just a way of life. And if you don't want to see it, then, like, don't look. But, like, it's. The thing is, is, like, women can't. Okay. So, like, you can't help it. Like, you. You have to pump or you have to feed every two, three hours because, like, your child needs to get the milk. For me, the reason I have been exclusively pumping, I do latch him sometimes throughout the day is because, um, I have. He's had a hard time latching, and I've gotten mastitis twice. And so the only way I can, like, keep my clogs, like, I mean, like, my ducts unclogged is by pumping every two or three hours. Like, my. My supply is, like, weird otherwise, and I get really, really bad pains and mastitis. And so that's why I'm exclusively pumping also. Because people can help you bottle feed the baby.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
So it's just as is. So trust me, I wish I could just breastfeed. Like, I actually think that'd be a lot easier than having this machine. I'm hooked up to 24 7. But, like, I also had to go to the Divi office for a day. Like, we had to go to Chicago for a day. Like, there's things being like, a founder and being, like, business owners that you kind of just have to do. Like, you can't just, like, not show up. And so pumping gives moms the opportunity to show up in other ways that sometimes they need to that maybe just help their mental health, too. And so. But so it's just crazy how many opinions people have about this thing when it's just, like, feeding a Child also, I just think it's like, what percentage?
Jordan Austin
Like 10%.
Danny Austin
Well, I think the reason why women are so bothered by it is because they probably don't see it a lot, but, like, in. But there's nothing wrong with it. And maybe people do need to see it more so that they're not ashamed about it or you're. You don't feel weird about it. So, like, that's why. Why I post about it, because I know I'm not doing anything wrong. You know, like, I don't feel a conviction that it's like, oh, Danny, you shouldn't be sharing that now. I'm not going to try to show my. My boobs and my nipples off. Like, that's not my goal here. I'm not trying to be like, one of those influencers, like, free the nip. Like, no, I'm just. I don't mind having. And you know, like, if I'm posting a video or something, I try to cover it up so that you're not seeing anything, like, inappropriate, but just the act of pumping, you know, people get so offended by it.
Jordan Austin
Yeah, I think this one's dumb. Yeah, I think it's dumb. I think it's like, really? Are you sure these are real people?
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
Really? So do they think you're, like, exploiting your breastfeeding for content, essentially?
Danny Austin
No. No, they're just like, why? This is tmi. They think it's like tmi. But I just have to say, when you are pumping or breastfeeding, it is so much work. It's, like, mentally exhausting too. It's also, like, very emotional. Like, I don't know what it is about it, but, like, maybe it like, releases hormones that, like, make you feel emotional. Like, even, like, I've thought about stopping and, like, it makes me want to cry when I think about stopping breastfeeding. Like, because I think that it's something that really connects you to your baby. And it's like you are doing something that is so, like, amazing for them. Like, whether. And I'm no whether you're formula feed. I formula fed Stratton from, like, week two. So, like, I'm not Stella. I breastfed for about three months. Stratton. I breast. I breasted him for. Breastfed him for, like, two weeks. So, you know, fed is best. Like, you go formula, more power to you, whatever it is. But I'm just saying, like, I think that there is scientific about, like, the hormones that are released while you breastfeed and, like, that connection that you have with your Baby. And it's, like, really special. And it's very. It's. It's like a way that you feel like you're providing for them. It's very natural. And so, yeah, to me, I feel like we should be, like, encouraging women in, like, helping them because it's also really hard. And so we should be encouraging them to, like, keep going and that they're killing it and they're doing, like, the best that they can. And I felt like sharing videos or pictures of me pumping was supporting that narrative, not hurting it.
Jordan Austin
You know, should we pull up who commented that and just read their names publicly?
Danny Austin
Yeah, for sure.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. Let's publicly shame the people that are trying to publicly shame you, and let's see how they feel about it, because how dare you to my wonderful goddess breastfeeding wife. You come after her, you come after her, you come after me, and I will shame you. And I will send it to your employer and I will get you fired.
Danny Austin
Too far. Too far.
Jordan Austin
And I will send it to your children so they know the mother that you are being to them. I kid. I kid. But I do think this one's real dumb.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
I'm being honest. I think you. You whip those things out.
Danny Austin
Thank you, babe.
Jordan Austin
Just cover the nips. Yeah, let's not be too crazy.
Danny Austin
No, no, I'm not trying to be like that. Yeah, like. No, I always try to cover because.
Jordan Austin
That'S a slippery slope to only fans, if you think about it. We can't let you go down that slippery slope.
Danny Austin
There's probably a huge demo market for breastfeeding moms in there.
Jordan Austin
Honestly, it's sickening, but probably so.
Danny Austin
That's gross.
Jordan Austin
I know. Just really gross.
Danny Austin
Topic number two things that make you go incentivizing your children's trust. Their trusts are incentive driven. So if the children obtain their master's degree, their doctorates and so forth, they will receive bonuses that are written into the trust. That is so interesting.
Jordan Austin
This is so not original. Like, all these old Dallas money. These. These families got these trusts so dialed, it's insane.
Danny Austin
Wait, you think that they. They all do this?
Jordan Austin
100%.
Danny Austin
What?
Jordan Austin
Yeah, 100%. They're based on. I think they're based on marriage. I think they're based on fidelity. I think they're based on so many things that you would never imagine.
Danny Austin
Oh, so interesting. What would you ever do? Incentive trust for our kids. I don't want to leave trust for my kids at all. I'm sorry.
Jordan Austin
I'm like, oops, I set those up.
Danny Austin
Well, I mean like, so like my parents gave me a little lump sum for like half a wedding.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
I wouldn't say that's a trust though.
Jordan Austin
No.
Danny Austin
So like, I would, I would probably. I want to save money for my kids weddings. That's about it. I don't really want to. I don't want them to ever feel like they have anything coming for them, honestly.
Jordan Austin
That's one school of thought. That's a big school of thought.
Danny Austin
I just want them to figure life out on their own. And I don't. I feel like it's a crutch.
Jordan Austin
I think that there's an age that probably it makes sense. Like, I think if you're gonna do a Trust, it's like 35, 40, because at that point they have to figure out their lives first, you know, and they're probably just enough established to where if they're at that point of having kids, like I'm going to be 35 by that time, I'll have what, three kids, four kids maybe. We'll see.
Danny Austin
Or did they just slack because they know they have it coming?
Jordan Austin
I don't think so. I think you just, you don't want to wait it out like that. And again, I think that there's probably like things that you can put into place. I don't know. But then you become really controlling, potentially codependent, you know?
Danny Austin
See, I just also don't want to have control over my kids life like that.
Jordan Austin
No, it's like I.
Danny Austin
It's like kind of creepy. Like it puts too much pressure on me.
Jordan Austin
Babe, you got to get into this like old Dallas money scene because like, I feel like I'm okay. I feel like I'm friends with like a lot of second and third generation, like old Dallas money. And the things that I hear are insane.
Danny Austin
I can't imagine.
Jordan Austin
And it's like a whole.
Danny Austin
So incestuous.
Jordan Austin
It's like a whole culture that they live by where they're like, oh yeah, like this guy who manages my family's family office. Like, yeah, he's really hard on me, but not hard on my brother. And it's like a whole world of dynamics and nuances that they have to deal with. And so the biggest I, I have this is not like a. I haven't studied this statistically, but I feel like for the most part there's kind of this like concept, if you come from like old money Dallas, of wanting to kind of get out of it, which actually means like literally severing off any needs you have from your parents. And going completely on your own.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Austin
And the ones who do that are typically very respected within this, like, old money network because they're like, wow, like, good for you, man. Like, you did it. Isn't it crazy?
Danny Austin
It's such a first world problem.
Jordan Austin
No, it's a problem though.
Danny Austin
You have.
Jordan Austin
But these are all like, really good people. They're awesome people. It's just dynamics that are very niche dynamics that not many people know how to like, navigate or deal with.
Danny Austin
No, I understand. I think I'm just more so.
Jordan Austin
They can't talk about it because they sound like the world's smallest violin.
Danny Austin
No, true. So true. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't know. I also don't. I wouldn't want to set up incentives for my child with their trust because I don't know what they're going to need out of life. Like, maybe they shouldn't be getting their master's. Maybe they shouldn't even be going to college. Like, what if they want to go serve in Africa? Then they're not going to get like the right amount of money because they didn't get their masters in college.
Jordan Austin
Yeah.
Danny Austin
I don't know. It's tough.
Jordan Austin
It. I think it's. The more that I heal from codependency, the more it feels hella codependent and very controlling.
Danny Austin
Yeah. To give your kid, like. Like, if I give you money and a trust, like, you better always be nice to me and invite me over to visit.
Jordan Austin
Well, also, isn't it just breeding grounds for resentment Your kids are going to have for to towards you. Like, your kids are going to be like, like, f you mom and dad. Like, I know best. And honestly, like, at a certain point in their age, we should be like, yeah, you know best. We trust you. We're here to consult.
Danny Austin
I know, but I think it's so much easier said than done, probably. So much easier said than done.
Jordan Austin
Probably.
Danny Austin
Like, as soon as I find out that like, my kid isn't like, enrolled for like, the right classes at college, like, you better believe I'm be riding up there being on their butts, being like, you better sign yourself up for that class. Like, I'm just gonna watch them, like, ruin their lives. Is that what that's what people are saying? Don't be codependent like that. Like, I'm just. It's gonna be hard.
Jordan Austin
It's like, stella, you are not getting an art history degree.
Danny Austin
Yeah. Like, yeah, yeah. She's like, mom, I want to go to Vernon Built in city.
Jordan Austin
She's like, mom, I want to be a art curator at the Met. And you're like, absolutely not, daughter.
Danny Austin
It's gonna be harder than.
Jordan Austin
She's gonna be like. She's gonna be. You're crushing my dreams. You never understood my dreams. And you're like, I'm a realist.
Danny Austin
And then you're like, okay, pay for your own degree at Vanderbilt.
Jordan Austin
Like, oh, yeah. And then she'll never talk to us.
Danny Austin
Yes. So there it goes.
Jordan Austin
That's fine. Anyway, we need to be good before that comes.
Danny Austin
I know.
Jordan Austin
We need. We gotta get.
Danny Austin
We gotta get in so hard. It's gonna be so hard. The last thing I want to say before you guys go, can you leave a comment of what should our outro be? We need, like, a saying that we say at the end of each episode. Like Gary Brucker always says. And like, always, it's just science. He says something like that. We need something like that.
Jordan Austin
We need an outro.
Danny Austin
Yeah, like, just, like, you don't like the Irish.
Jordan Austin
Goodbye.
Danny Austin
Like, okay, bye.
Jordan Austin
Okay, bye. I always thought that would be funny if we did that.
Danny Austin
We should just end it right now.
Jordan Austin
Yeah. Don't even say bye.
