Danny Austin
Foreign. The following podcast is a Dear Media production. Hello, and welcome back to your favorite podcast, D Implants.
Jordan Ramirez
Does it look like I'm crying?
Danny Austin
I. I was just gonna say I'm worried about you. I feel like something is off with you. Are you mad at me?
Jordan Ramirez
No. Not at all.
Danny Austin
No. I think you are mad at me.
Jordan Ramirez
No, I think I just have dust in my eyes. Does it look like I'm crying?
Danny Austin
No. But even outside of that, you've been off today.
Jordan Ramirez
Today?
Danny Austin
Yeah. Or all weekend. Are you sad?
Jordan Ramirez
You're the one who's been off. We literally talked about this.
Danny Austin
No, I know, but is something else bothering you today?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. That you're distant because you're hormonal. I told you, I've been very clear.
Danny Austin
Well, what happened was you said you.
Jordan Ramirez
Had anxiety or postpartum anxiety.
Danny Austin
So this is what happened. I quit breastfeeding. Or I. I weaned off breastfeeding. And so that's typically whenever. You know, the postpartum. The D word. Not Dick. I called him that one time. You'll have to listen to a different episode. It's an inside ship. But that's when the postpartum anxiety hits me. And we were at the lake, and we were. The kids were swimming, and we have this, like, little screen for mosquitoes, and Jordan closes the screen for mosquitoes while our kids are in the pool. And I'm just sitting there, and I'm like, this is so nice. Like, we're blocked from mosquitoes. But if one of my kids needs my help, I'm gonna have to find. Run around, find the remote, then click the up button and wait while the screen rises while my children is in need. And I was just sitting there in so much anxiety, and I was like, babe, listen, I. I don't know if this is, like, legit or if I'm just having postpartum anxiety, but, like, we gotta raise the screen. And he's like, danny, like, the kids will be fine. I'm like, no, no, I. I can't take a deep breath because I'm so anxious about.
Jordan Ramirez
But five minutes prior to that, you were worried that summit was gonna get bit by a mosquito and get infected with West Nile.
Danny Austin
I know. I did. I did. And I was, like, trying to protect him. And so there's really just. That's the thing about postpartum anxiety. There's just no winning. Everything is out to get you and your babies.
Jordan Ramirez
It actually started. I remember the day it started. It actually started not last Saturday, but the Saturday before that.
Danny Austin
Yeah, it was a Switch that turned on. I was like. It was like, postpartum is here.
Jordan Ramirez
It was on the way. It was directly after Stratton's birthday party.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
It set in. And remember I gave you that pep talk in the car? Cause you were spiraling, and I was like, this is gonna ruin our whole weekend.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
Because you were spiraling. Your feelings are valid.
Danny Austin
Yes.
Jordan Ramirez
But I was trying to get to the root of the.
Danny Austin
Well, there was a lot going on. We had Stratton's birthday party. We were hosting, like, 10 people at our lake house that we had just purchased on Wednesday. So we'd never even spent the night at the lake house. Our friends got to the lake house before we even got there. So it was just. I was very stressed. I was very stressed. And Stratton doesn't swim yet, which is, like, another thing that keeps me up at night. So I called this, like, swim teacher, because I've been trying to teach him how to swim myself, and he doesn't trust me. So then I'm like, okay. And so then I called this swim teacher, and she's like, I can't start for two weeks. And I'm like, listen, lady, I need you to come over. Yesterday, I was like, stratton, we are around other kids that are swimming. We have pools. I'm so scared. And so, anyway, there's just a lot. A lot.
Jordan Ramirez
So has it subsided at all since two Saturdays ago, or is it. It's. It feels from my end, like, it's been pretty consistent.
Danny Austin
I have been so loving these past couple of days.
Jordan Ramirez
No, no, no, listen, it's okay. I can just tell you are. It's like. It's like your mind is moving a thousand. And I see it, and it's like, there's really no stopping me. There's no room for me. Oh, it's okay. No, it's okay. You've been great for our kids. But, like, I just know it's one of those seasons where it's like, oh, there's a lot on your mind.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
And I am not your priority right now.
Danny Austin
No, no, no. It's not that you're not my priority. I'm just like, what? The way it feels is. I'm just trying to keep my head above water.
Jordan Ramirez
That's. That's how I feel around you.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, you remember when you were like, this is so funny, but, like, I was setting up the Starlink, and I was, like, repairing something.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
In the front yard. You have something in your teeth.
Danny Austin
Oh, thank you for telling me.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, it's big. Okay, you got it. We just had green, and you came back by the house, and I was like. I mean, I was working in the yard.
Danny Austin
Yeah, you were.
Jordan Ramirez
And you just were like, hey, babe. And then you, like, came in and left, and I was like, oh, she's got things on her mind. Oh, when I came back, and then I also made. I made breakfast. And then I very. I pointed it out to you. I was like, hey, I made you breakfast. And you were like. You said, thank you. I know you're appreciative. I don't think it's personal.
Danny Austin
No.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. I don't think it's personal. It's just a season. It happens.
Danny Austin
It happened.
Jordan Ramirez
One would say once every month. But this is what's crazy about this one, is that this is the pre to the once a month. So really, I'm gonna. I'm. This is what I've been thinking about, just as the male.
Danny Austin
That's so true. Maybe it's not postpartum anxiety. Maybe it's that time of the month that's coming.
Jordan Ramirez
That's next week. Which means that I counted. It will be three weeks of distance. This is what you asked if I.
Danny Austin
Was sad of goodness.
Jordan Ramirez
There's one week of goodness. You asked why I was sad, and.
Danny Austin
I was like, you know, men just have it so hard.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
It's like, how do you guys do it?
Jordan Ramirez
Hobbies.
Danny Austin
Oh, you think I'm serious right now?
Jordan Ramirez
Hobbies. I'm just like, okay, that's not going to work for me right now. So I need to go over here, and I need to entertain myself. It's the same thing. When you were preg, I just played Settlers of Catan on my iPad.
Danny Austin
Yeah, well, how was I in San Antonio? Because we just got back from San Antonio. What did you think about our time there?
Jordan Ramirez
You were busy, but you were like. You were working. Actually, I was going to ask how you felt today because you had, like, a very old Danny day where you went from, like, a photo. You. You had glam this morning, and then you went to a photo.
Danny Austin
I woke up early to shoot my intro to, like, my. My vlog.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. So you were, like, up and at them right away, and then you had glam, and then you went to a photo shoot, and now you're here, so. But you seem excited, which makes. I'm just curious how you're feeling.
Danny Austin
Well, but always happens after this excitement is a crash.
Jordan Ramirez
Yes. You know, I feel that.
Danny Austin
So I actually do really well in the chaos. But then it's Just like the next day, I'm like. But actually, what was so crazy about the last five years of my life is that every day was like this. So then when I crashed, it was for two months.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. No. What? The word that came to mind when it came to San Antonio and or today is distraction. It's like. It's like you're, like, so busy, and you're on, like, such a grind right now that you're distracting yourself from the postpartum anxiety. Oh, and then you crash.
Danny Austin
I know. I tend to do that with my feelings, too. When I. When I have an uncomfortable feeling that, like, requires confrontation, I'm like, just get busy. You'll forget about it.
Jordan Ramirez
No, for sure. And that's how I feel like you are right now. You. I know that you have feelings in there, but. Oh, she's totally distracting herself for her feelings.
Danny Austin
It's. I'm. It's eerie how good feel to have.
Jordan Ramirez
A husband that just gets you.
Danny Austin
I know. You even get me because, like, he's been hugging me very tightly lately.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Because here's the thing about.
Jordan Ramirez
Can I be honest? That's not about you. That's about me. That's me saying, hey, I want to be loved. And I literally hugged her last night, and she said, you're smothering me.
Danny Austin
No, you were hugging me really tight. Okay.
Jordan Ramirez
Like, at that point, I knew you're frustrated, so I just, like, laid on top of you, and you were like, get off of me.
Danny Austin
That's the one thing. When I'm busy being busy, I don't like to be held down. But Jordan, sometimes he likes to hold me down, like, a little. Well.
Jordan Ramirez
So honestly, the reason I've been so lovely to you is because I've been like, you know, there's always. There's all these, like, rabbit holes that go down, like, theories that I have. Whenever you're distant, I'm like, okay, maybe she's not feeling good about herself. So I'm gonna go. I'm gonna give her a bunch of compliments and love.
Danny Austin
I will say. Never mind. I shouldn't talk about it.
Jordan Ramirez
What's it.
Danny Austin
No, because I don't want to get hate. I'm just, like, not the mood, you know? And you're just not in the mood.
Jordan Ramirez
What are you gonna get hate over?
Danny Austin
I just. I didn't really like my belly in that green Jess in San Antonio.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, I knew it.
Danny Austin
And I knew. I don't want to say anything because I feel like whenever I talk about stuff like this, you were like, Stop. Stop talking about it. But, you know, it's just.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. I gave you a hug then, too. And I said. I said to your videographer, haley, I said, haley, doesn't Danny look so beautiful?
Danny Austin
Why? Because you notice the belly?
Jordan Ramirez
I know. I didn't notice your belly. I noticed that you were not feeling good.
Danny Austin
Yeah, yeah. It's okay. It's like.
Jordan Ramirez
It's like, you know, you can't turn around.
Danny Austin
You birth three humans. You know, it's like, everybody's like, just remind yourself that I'm like, yeah, I do.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And then you see other girls on Instagram that birth, like, seven humans, and they have, like, a six pack. And you're like, okay. Not relatable.
Jordan Ramirez
All those Mormons. Literally something in the water up there. I don't know.
Danny Austin
That's what I was thinking. I'm telling you, it's all this. No. And I honestly don't care about it on, like, a daily basis. But it is hard when you're, like, filming and taking all these pictures because it's like, a constant reminder, you know? And so it's like. But no, like, truly, I am in that phase of, like, I'm just like, embrace it. But that's why I also like to put my sweats on because I feel good about myself.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. So you're feeling good today, though? We're good.
Danny Austin
Yeah. Yeah. It's. I've had a phenomenal day. You want to hear about my day?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, I do.
Danny Austin
I woke up and started filming the vlog for kind of like a Day in My Life video. But I had a photo shoot or got glam. I had a photo shoot with Architectural Digest. I don't know why.
Jordan Ramirez
Architectural. Oh, I didn't even know that was happening today.
Danny Austin
Literally. I'm not even kidding you. So Anna came over doing my hair, and Kristen was doing my makeup.
Jordan Ramirez
And, like, you're going to be in the magazine.
Danny Austin
No, listen, listen. First of all, I don't know, but the funny thing was, is she was like, what do you get? Or like, no. Kristen was like, okay, what style do you want? What do you want your hair makeup to look like? And I'm like, whatever. Like, I'm just going to wear this green dress. I have a photo shoot for, like, the Divi offices today.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And Anna walks in. She was like, are you excited for today? And I was like, yeah, it's just like a photo shoot. She's like, architectural Digest, Danny. And I was like, what? What are you talking about? Like, I didn't know. I had heard, like, Pro. I think I knew like five months ago that was thrown around. I didn't know that's what the shoot was for today for ad so then I was like, oh, you guys better get to work. You better make me look good. But before I was like, just whatever.
Jordan Ramirez
Wow, it's so crazy because we're actually. So we own the building and we're upstairs now and we're looking for a tenant downstairs. Shoe in. Yeah, I can just say it was in Architectural Digest. Yeah, well, that's all I'm thinking about is I was like, how I'm gonna find a new tenant. And we didn't shoot the.
Danny Austin
The bottom floor. Well, yeah, but. Yeah, so. I mean, her office is so cute. It looks so good. So. So I did that and that was a lot of fun. Then we came home and my mother was here and I was like, hi, mom, what are you doing? And she got a brand deal with Barbie and she was filming a brand deal for Barbie at our house. And I was like, hello. So then we had lunch as a team. Sweet Green. And then I just came up here. And then I also, on the way home, got an email that Stratton's soccer game that was rained out from like two weekends ago was rescheduled to tonight at 5:30. Can you also just make a mental note and remind me of something? Don't ever sign. Like, I'm never doing soccer again with our kids.
Jordan Ramirez
Danny, I tried to tell you, like.
Danny Austin
It is so dumb because every single weekend is rained out. Every single weekend is rain out. Also, our kids don't like it. Yeah, they just sit on the sidelines.
Jordan Ramirez
Every year we do this.
Danny Austin
They.
Jordan Ramirez
They don't like it.
Danny Austin
But then Stella scored that one goal that one time and I was like, she's the next Mia Ham at practice. So practice makes perfect. I'm telling you. I was like, oh, my gosh, my girl's going to be a soccer player. No, I. Princeton, here we come. Do they have a soccer team?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, I. I totally agree. So are we just gonna.
Danny Austin
I'm not doing it again because it's.
Jordan Ramirez
Honestly, we gotta finish out the season because.
Danny Austin
Because we don't give up.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, we don't give up.
Danny Austin
The Austin Ramirez family does not give up. So, yeah, we're.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, I quit a lot of sports. The Austin side, Ramirez's, Jordan. I. I gave up on some stuff.
Danny Austin
Well, and then it's been hard because sometimes their games are the same times on the weekends. And so we have to like pick one or the other.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
But he. Yeah, so that's been my day. I also have just been going, you know, chatgpt. I upgraded to that 4.0.
Jordan Ramirez
You should read your bio.
Danny Austin
Yeah, so I was like, you know, I hate to text the team on the weekends, but, like, I upgraded to the 4.0, and it was like, hey, Danny, wait, wait.
Jordan Ramirez
You're. You're saying it wrong. Oh, you didn't Upgrade to the 4.0. You upgraded to the Pro, and you got all the models, right?
Danny Austin
What does that even mean?
Jordan Ramirez
So do you have 4.0 beast mode?
Danny Austin
It says chap chat gpt4o.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, but let me see. Look.
Danny Austin
Wait, I need. I can get B Zone.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, there's so many models. Look, if you go here and then you click model, there's more models, and there's like, four, five.
Danny Austin
Well, give me the best one.
Jordan Ramirez
So this one, the. Oh, wait, you don't have Beast Mode. I only have it. Sorry.
Danny Austin
Are you paying, like, super extra?
Jordan Ramirez
No, I have the same. Sometimes they roll it out, but Beast Mode, it literally. I asked it how to grill, like, how to marinate or, like, a good marinate for a steak. It truly thought about it for 20 minutes.
Danny Austin
Oh, wow.
Jordan Ramirez
It's like.
Danny Austin
I don't like that. I like it heavy. Like Google.
Jordan Ramirez
No, but it goes deep, like Beast Mode. It's crazy. Yeah. Danny got a new cell phone necklace. I think it's.
Danny Austin
It's, like, the best asmr guys, are you really.
Jordan Ramirez
Are you really gonna wear that around your neck?
Danny Austin
So at Ulta flc, all the ladies, the managers, had these on their phones, and they were wearing their phones like bags. And I was like, where did you get that? And they all said, Amazon. So I got up on there. It was like, 7.99. I bought two. Isn't that crazy?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, they're cool.
Danny Austin
So excited. I'm gonna wear it around the house like this because, you know, I'm always losing my phone.
Jordan Ramirez
No, this is what you're always doing. Oh, my gosh. I left my phone, and then I just keep driving, and I'm like, no, she didn't. And then three minutes later, she's like, oh, I found it. I'm like, yeah, here's the thing.
Danny Austin
I never actually lose my phone, but I lose my phone every day.
Jordan Ramirez
But I lose it for both you and your mom. It's truly insane that y'all have not lost more things in life.
Danny Austin
I'm a goldfish.
Jordan Ramirez
Mean, she did leave you at a Payless.
Danny Austin
She didn't. It was a fabric store she left me at.
Jordan Ramirez
And She, I could just imagine her reaction. She was like, oh, oh my gosh.
Danny Austin
My daughter, she got in the car and, and started the car and, and backed out of the parking spot. And then, and then she like, y'all.
Jordan Ramirez
Are like living examples of like it always works out like both of you are just living examples.
Danny Austin
She went back into the fabric store goes and the ladies working there were like appalled cuz they, she like left this like 1 year old in the, in a car seat. She's like, I haven't had her that long. Like I'm sorry she's new, I forgot. It's okay.
Jordan Ramirez
And they probably loved her after.
Danny Austin
Yeah, yeah. Y'all know I've been super open about my breastfeeding journey and how personal it's been for each and every mama. Funny story about that. And then it just randomly asked me. It was like, hey, Danny, like, do you want me to describe you? And I was like, chatgpt, like, sure, why not? Like, what do you think about me? Like, because, like, I was a little scared because the night before I was chatgpting, like, who is Charles Manson? And tell me more about MK Ultra. Yeah, which we'll get into that in a second. But. So I was kind of like scared because, like, ChatGPT, like, knows a lot about me. Like, I'm always like asking crazy questions and. But then this is what I said and I was like, I think I like this person. Not me, but chatgpt. Danny Austin is a powerhouse of heart and hustle, a vibrant mommy influencer, entrepreneur and podcast host who's building a beautiful, faith centered life. She's a lake house dreamer, a puzzle solver, a tennis player, and a Mexican food enthusiast with three little adventures by her side. Between creating honest content, steering her brand vision, and deep diving into life's biggest, sometimes funniest questions, Danny blends authenticity, ambition, and a love for family, faith and friendship like nobody else.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, it didn't mention me at all. I mean, it was like three adventurers by her side, which I'm assuming means the kids. So you don't. You don't ask many questions about me to chatgpt because that's.
Danny Austin
I don't use it as a therapist. I have a real one. I know you. You ask a lot of therapy questions.
Jordan Ramirez
Sure.
Danny Austin
And then it said, it said, will.
Jordan Ramirez
You ask it just really quick if. If you're married.
Danny Austin
Am I married? Am I married?
Jordan Ramirez
What does it say?
Danny Austin
It's gonna be like you have a horrible memory. Yes. Based on everything we've talked about, you are married. Your last name is Austin, but your husband's last name is Ramirez. And you've shared that you and your husband are both entrepreneurs who love Mexican food, traveling, puzzling tennis, reading, and raising your three small kids together.
Jordan Ramirez
Now it's just reverting back.
Danny Austin
You two sound like a power couple who also know how to have fun. Would you like me to write you a cuter, funny couple bio too? Just for fun?
Jordan Ramirez
Ask it. Say, I need you to be honest with me, even if it's hard to hear. What are my blind spots? It's hard.
Danny Austin
It'll nail it with me. Even if it's hard to hear. What are my blind Spots, question mark.
Jordan Ramirez
See if it gets it.
Danny Austin
I love how real you're being.
Jordan Ramirez
Look, she's reading them before deciding whether she can share this vulnerable side of her weakness.
Danny Austin
I just don't know if this is accurate. Okay, you have a huge heart and crazy drive, but sometimes you might spread yourself too thin. You balance. You're balancing.
Jordan Ramirez
Basically, it's saying, jenny's here. She said absolutely.
Danny Austin
It says, basically, you're balancing a lot. You over commit before checking if it's healthy for you.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, for sure.
Danny Austin
Okay. Okay. You feel like you're failing all the time.
Jordan Ramirez
I'm like, you weren't going to read these. You literally go, I don't think these are accurate.
Danny Austin
You push burnout signs aside because you want to show up for everyone.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, my gosh. How does it know?
Danny Austin
Blindspot. You might underestimate how much rest and margin you truly need. Not just physically but emotionally and spiritually too. That's probably true. Next. You have a gift for authenticity, but it might cause you to over explain or try to justify yourself when you really don't need to.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
You feel guilt for having boundaries. You seek unnecessary permission from others when you already know the right thing to do.
Jordan Ramirez
Mm, so true.
Danny Austin
Really?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Okay. You over explained decisions. Okay. Okay. Number three. Your optimism and faith are powerful, but they could cause you to underestimate how complicated some problems really are.
Jordan Ramirez
Wait, read that again.
Danny Austin
Your optimism and faith are powerful, but they could cause you to underestimate how complicated some problems really are.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, like you're. Yeah, yeah.
Danny Austin
When some. When. See when people. Okay, so it says. But it might be sometimes harder for you to see when people or projects really aren't salvageable and just let them go.
Jordan Ramirez
Is that true?
Danny Austin
Oh, my God. That is to me.
Jordan Ramirez
And what. Which project where people.
Danny Austin
Are not salvageable. I can't let them go.
Jordan Ramirez
Like, who.
Danny Austin
Are we even married?
Jordan Ramirez
I know, but. Wait, whisper.
Danny Austin
I'm not talking about anyone on the team. Okay, I know, I know, I know, but who?
Jordan Ramirez
Don't say it on the pod. What?
Danny Austin
No, no, just tell me. I'm.
Jordan Ramirez
I'm trying to think like who you have, not who you haven't.
Danny Austin
Jordan, you literally tell me about this every single time that we've ever had couples therapy. You're like, danny, you have to learn to let them go.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Danny Austin
Like about literally everybody in my life.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, yeah. Okay. For sure, for sure.
Danny Austin
You are brilliant at pursuing big dreams, but you might second guess your gut when it's time to take a step. Scary leap. I think everybody does that. Bottom Line. You're deeply capable. Your heart is pure. Your life's mission is bigger than any pressure or criticism you'll face. You don't have to prove, over, deliver or carry more than God asks of you.
Jordan Ramirez
Wow.
Danny Austin
It's beautiful. I'm like chatgpt, like, are you a believer?
Jordan Ramirez
No, don't, don't.
Danny Austin
Why?
Jordan Ramirez
It'll pray for you. It's very weird. It's weird.
Danny Austin
It's giving Antichrist. I really think that Chat GBT will end up being the Antichrist, some form of it one day.
Jordan Ramirez
Really? Like a. Yeah, it's like a super intelligence.
Danny Austin
Yes, super intelligence. Uhhuh. But could like perform miracles and stuff.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, speaking of intelligence, we were listening to a podcast on the way home from the lake and I just have a question. It was about MK Ultra, which was like a secret CIA program.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
And there's a theory out there that. So the CIA opened this clinic, what is it called? Hate Ashbury.
Danny Austin
Hey, Ashbury. They hate Ashbury. It's actually not a clinic, it's a. It's a neighborhood in San Francisco.
Jordan Ramirez
But they opened the clinic, it was funded and run by the CIA.
Danny Austin
Yes, it was. This is a fact. This is not conspiracy.
Jordan Ramirez
Right. And they're back in like the 70s, 80s and Charles Manson, who committed all the murders, flowed through there.
Danny Austin
Yes.
Jordan Ramirez
Do you want to tell them or you want me to tell them?
Danny Austin
You can keep going.
Jordan Ramirez
So basically, Charles Manson, he had a really weird history where he was let. He was released from jail or prison many times when he probably shouldn't have been. And he flowed through this Hate Ashberry Clinic. And that is a clinic that is proven where they were basically using lsd. The CIA was using LSD to experiment with mind control, Right?
Danny Austin
Yes. So the CIA would use prisoners, random people like on the streets, felons, like people that were in like mental institutes and they would give them all these drugs. They were really big on LSD and try to basically mind control them and, or study their brains and see like if they could convince them to basically totally switch their personalities, tell them to do crazy things. So yes, there was a neighborhood in Haight called Haight Ashbury in San Francisco where they opened a clinic and they just had people basically coming in, volunteering. Because that's also when Everybody started doing LSD. It was in 70s, 80s and so you had all these average Susans going in and they're testing drugs on them.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. And so there was this book that came out by this guy who did like 20 years worth of research on trying to connect the dots. And he never takes a position, but he's trying to connect the dots between the Charles Manson murders, the CIA, and this, like, Haight Ashbury Clinic. And the book is called Chaos. I forgot who wrote it. But anyway, we're listening to a podcast about this, and you. You were kind of, like, lurking, and you were secretly asking ChatGPT about the podcast.
Danny Austin
Yeah, I do that every time I listen to a podcast.
Jordan Ramirez
I know, but why weren't you. Why were you hiding from me that you wanted to learn more?
Danny Austin
You want to know why? Remember my throat was hurting. Oh, the right side of my throat was hurting. And I was like, I can't talk right now.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, I thought you were hiding from me, that you were interested in the topic. After the telepathy tapes, you're like, I can't.
Danny Austin
No, I was there with him laying down because I was tired. Number one.
Jordan Ramirez
Got it.
Danny Austin
I didn't want to talk because my throat really hurt.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Yeah. And I just didn't want to talk.
Jordan Ramirez
Wasn't it interesting, though?
Danny Austin
No, it's fascinating.
Jordan Ramirez
I told you so fascinating.
Danny Austin
I go down every, like. I'll tell you what else was in my chat. GPT. I went down MK Ultra. I mean, that was just, like, it really.
Jordan Ramirez
Gotcha.
Danny Austin
That one really got me. Because here's what's the craziest thing about the Charles Manson thing is they probably got to him while he was in prison. Okay. Yeah, he's the CIA, and he had always kind of been, like, a bad kid, but he never, like, did anything crazy until he went through that program and they started giving him all these drugs. So, like, the theory is that it wasn't really him. It was, like, his brainwashed version of himself.
Jordan Ramirez
Totally.
Danny Austin
Because he ended up. Because Charles Manson didn't actually kill anyone, but he had, like, the Charles Manson family. So he had. Basically, he was like, a cult leader. And you have all these people following him, and they say that he brainwashed them the same way that the CIA brainwashed him.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And he basically just did what the CIA did to him and then told everybody to go kill all these people.
Jordan Ramirez
Because, like, most of the people who committed the murders were, like, normal.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
Like, no.
Danny Austin
Well, he definitely took it. Said that he took advantage of the vulnerable.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Like, typically they were, like, financially vulnerable. Maybe they were, like, on drugs already. It's crazy stuff. Lsd. Like, what does that do? Like, do people do that recreationally?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, I think a lot of people in, like, the 70s did. Right.
Danny Austin
Would it, like. But no, like, these days, like, what are the kid, the kids.
Jordan Ramirez
Is it the same as mushrooms? Lsd? Different.
Danny Austin
So like what happens when you take lsd?
Jordan Ramirez
I think you like, you just trip.
Danny Austin
Did I ever tell you about the one time I took a Xanax? No, not Xanax. What's the one not on, not like drugs, but the one that makes you sleep.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, Ambien.
Danny Austin
Yeah, did I ever tell you about that?
Jordan Ramirez
Did you fight going to sleep? Apparently if you fight going to sleep on Ambien, you do some crazy stuff.
Danny Austin
So my roommate my sophomore year of college gave it to me because I was having a really hard time sleeping. So she just gave me one. You know, I was like, thanks. Like I really need to get.
Jordan Ramirez
She was a little pharmacy, wasn't she? I've heard a lot about this roommate.

Danny Austin
Well, and I was like, you know, my. Like, I had known people, when they take, you know, a flight to Europe or something, they take an Ambien. Yeah, right.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. I mean, yeah.
Danny Austin
Like, people take it to sleep, you know.
Jordan Ramirez
Sure.
Danny Austin
But I had never taken it before because I didn't need help to sleep. And so. But I was having a hard time sleeping. She's like, this will knock you out. I'm like, thanks. So I was, like, getting ready for bed, and I didn't know that you have to take it, like, when you're in bed. Like, I didn't know.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
And I was studying by myself in my room, and I started getting ready for bed. So I took it because I'm like, this is going to take forever to kick in. Like, you know, I mean, the closest thing I'd ever taken was melatonin, you know, and so I was brushing my teeth and washing my face, and all of a sudden, this black figure, you know, like. You know, like when you're watching one of those spy movies, and, like, the guy with, like, the pipe shows up, and he's like a hidden. He's just like a figure, and he has, like, a trench coat and, like, the secret hat. Well, a shadow just like that showed up behind me while I'm washing my face. So, like, I have, like, mascara all down my face. And he puts his hand on my shoulder, and I'm, like, talking in the mirror, and I'm like, hey, look. Oh, bro, I got to go to bed. And I do not remember anything after this, but Amy came back to our room, and she sees me, and I am talking to myself in the mirror with mascara all over my eyes like this. I am making circles with my mascara covering my face. And she comes home and she sees me, and so she puts me in bed with my shoes on, and I slept with my shoes on all night. That is all I remember. I never took one again.
Jordan Ramirez
Did this man have a top hat?
Danny Austin
No. He was like. He was? Yes.
Jordan Ramirez
He had a top hat.
Danny Austin
Yes. But he was, I think this is.
Jordan Ramirez
Like a known figure.
Danny Austin
Oh, my God.
Jordan Ramirez
Will you ask ChatGPT?
Danny Austin
I've had a lot of spiritual experiences like this on drugs. I mean, I'm just saying I haven't done a lot of drugs, but the times that I have. No, sorry. These are not drugs. Like drugs. It's like somebody gave me an ambient.
Jordan Ramirez
Pharmaceutical products. She's had some crazy trips on pharmaceutical products.
Danny Austin
No, no, no. And so I literally. No, that would actually make sense as ChatGPT.
Jordan Ramirez
I'm pretty sure this is, like, a known figure. It's.
Danny Austin
And he wouldn't let me go to bed, and I was like. But he didn't have a face. It was just like a shadow of, like, almost like a mannequin.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay, at what point do we say it's a demon?
Danny Austin
What?
Jordan Ramirez
I'm just saying.
Danny Austin
You think everything is demonic.
Jordan Ramirez
No, but, Danny, you also had that girl that tickle my toes. Tickle your toes?
Danny Austin
I know. Have I told the podcast about this?
Jordan Ramirez
No. Guys, she's had a demon tickle her toes.
Danny Austin
No, Y'all, it's actually not even funny. Do you want me to tell the story?
Jordan Ramirez
Well, can you see if top hat man is a known figure first?
Danny Austin
I'll tell you about that one.
Jordan Ramirez
Here, I'll. I'll look up that.
Danny Austin
No, it's okay. So what do I say?
Jordan Ramirez
Like, hey, do people on ambience see the top hat man?
Danny Austin
I'm just going to say, see shadow figure?
Jordan Ramirez
No. Say with a top hat.
Danny Austin
But it. The top hat wasn't. But that wasn't memorable enough, so I don't want you to say that. I'm telling you it was a hallucinate. Oh, my God.
Jordan Ramirez
I hallucinated, but so crazy. Do people see the same figure?
Danny Austin
It says some people taking Ambien, the sleep medication, also have reported seeing shadow figures or experiencing weird hallucinations. Here's why. Ambien is supposed to help you fall asleep fast by calming brain activity. But if you take it and still and stay awake, your brain can go into a strange half dream. So, yes, you might see shadowy figures or shapes out of the corner of your eye, hear whispering or voices, feel like someone is in the room, experience sleepwalking or strange behaviors.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay, so when that demon girl tickled your toes, were you on Ambien?
Danny Austin
No. That's the only time I. Girl Scout honor I've ever taken Ambien. I've never taken it again.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay, we believe you. You don't need. It's okay. Just saying that several millions of Americans take it.
Danny Austin
Girl Scout honor is when you know I'm not lying.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. Okay.
Danny Austin
On my honor, I will try to do. What's the Girl Scout pledge? On my honor, I will try to do good, blah blah. And to live by the Girl Scout way.
Jordan Ramirez
I said, is there a known top hat figure people see when tripping? Yes, and this is super interesting. There's a very common type of figure people report seeing during hallucinations. Whether it's from sleep paralysis, heavy psychedelic trips, or even drug induced states like Ambien. One of the most famous is called the Hat Man. That's why I asked you if he had a top hat. People describe him as a tall shadowy figure wearing a wide brimmed hat. Sometimes it looks like a fedora, a top hat or a cowboy hat. He's usually seen standing in a doorway, corner of a room, or watching but not always moving or attacking.
Danny Austin
No, he wasn't moving.
Jordan Ramirez
Sometimes he's described as completely shadow black with no face.
Danny Austin
That was it. That was it. That was my name.
Jordan Ramirez
People often feel an intense sense of fear, pressure or being watched when they see him.
Danny Austin
Yes, it's exactly. He wouldn't let me go to bed. I was like, let me go to bed and he wouldn't let me.
Jordan Ramirez
When do people see the Hat Man? Sleep paralysis episodes, psychedelic trips, extreme sleep, parents deprivation, Ambien, high fever, hallucinations. Yes, a top hat or shadow man figure is absolutely a known phenomenon. Not just on drug trips, but also across tons of cultures and experiences. It's creepy. So many people around the world describe seeing almost the exact same figure even without ever hearing about him first. The same thing is there's called. I think they're called the tipsy elves. People who do like mushrooms or LSD all report seeing like it's either the geometric or tipsy elves. And they all see the same thing.
Danny Austin
They're just like elves that.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, but it's like everyone's seeing. So that's why I'm like, at what point do we call it what it is?
Danny Austin
Right, right, right. Well, here's the thing about that one I was on. I was on a drug for that one. So like I don't know.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay, but tell the story when you weren't on a drug.
Danny Austin
Have I really never told you this before? It's really creepy.
Jordan Ramirez
I'm really trying to get Danny. She, it's so funny. She won't admit the extent of spiritual warfare and yet a demons tickled her toes. It's the craziest thing.
Danny Austin
So when I moved out to la, I would go there Every summer. This was the first summer that LA for me has just always been a very dark place. Like, I was so lonely in la. Like, it was just really, really dark. And I had no friends, no community. I tried to meet people. It was just really hard. I was also 19 when I moved out there. So I was a sophomore in college and like, work wise, I was doing really great, but I couldn't. Everyone would go to like a bar after work and I wasn't even old enough to get in, so, like, I couldn't hang out with anyone and that I worked with. And it was just. Yeah, it was lonely. It was lonely time. I would literally just go and film videos and edit by myself 24 7. So while I was out there, I started experiencing sleep paralysis where. I don't know if that's ever happened to y'all, but basically you, your consciousness wakes up and this is. This is all so real, y'all. Like, I am not effing with you. Like, it is craziest thing. And it's happened to me multiple times. I would say five times total. And you wake up. So your consciousness, like, I would say your eyes even wake up, okay? So your eyes are open, but your body is paralyzed. So your body's still asleep, but your mind is awake. And you cannot move your body. Like, you cannot move it. And. But you can see everything in your room. You can't look around, but, like, I could see my room. I'm exactly where I fell asleep. And this demon girl, I literally can, like, think of her face right now.
Jordan Ramirez
Did it look like the. The grudge? Like the.
Danny Austin
Yeah, kind of like that. Like that. And she had really long fingernails. I remember that. And she was standing over my bed looking through. She comes up through the covers, tickling my feet. And here's the craziest thing about sleep paralysis. Like, I swear to you guys, you, they will tickle you, scratch you, hit you, sit on your chest. And when you wake up from the sleep paralysis, you will have the scratches. Like, you will feel where they were pinching you or hitting you. You can feel the pain when you wake up. It is the craziest thing. And so she comes up through my covers and she comes up and she just, like, stares at you, looks at your face, like, just kind of like haunts you. And she's super creepy. And so that happened to me one night and I was like, oh, my gosh. Like, and here's the thing. You're telling yourself, like, wake up and you're trying to move your body, but you can't. And so I looked it up, and Khloe Kardashian had. At the time, this was, like, probably back in 2014, 2013, she had experienced something similar. And so she described her experience, and her experience was exactly like mine. So then I went down this whole rabbit hole of all these people that had the same girl, like, looking like demon, do the same exact thing where they're just. They just kind of stand. They sometimes sit on your shoulders or sit on your chest, whatever. The craziest thing, which I feel like sometimes Lena doesn't remember this, but this was back when Lane and I used to do, like, a lot of, like, Collabs together on YouTube. And he was out. He had just decided to stay out in Nashville. So he was filming. Like, he was doing music. He was. I called Landon that night, and I was like, for that day. And I was like, landon, I just had the craziest, like, weirdest experience. And he was like, me, too. Like, I just had that last night, too. Danny.
Jordan Ramirez
So same night, two siblings.
Danny Austin
Yeah, he had the same thing, but his was, like, a guy, I think, like a male. And so anyway, while I was in la, y'all, that happened probably four more times. I was scared. I would be scared to go to bed because. But then I started reading tips and tricks of, like, there's, like, this whole form of, like, what you should do, because I. It's so scary that, like, they're like.
Jordan Ramirez
Holy water, Rosemary, Exorcist.
Danny Austin
So it was so, like, they said that what you should try to do was, like, touch two fingertips together to try to get out. So I started doing that, or to try to, like, look back and forth. Like, look, you know, get your eyes moving to wake your body up. But I swear, sometimes it would last five minutes. Like, that's how long it would be. Where I would be stuck in my body for five minutes is. It's crazy. But here's the thing. It only happens. And then I remember, like, the next summer, like, I went back and it would happen again. It was only in la. I have never had it, like, in Texas.
Jordan Ramirez
So what do you look back and.
Danny Austin
Describe that, you know, demon girl. It's horrible.
Jordan Ramirez
Little rascal.
Danny Austin
Little Rascal. But here's the thing. I also, like. I don't know. I'm not afraid of her.
Jordan Ramirez
Good.
Danny Austin
Because I really, like, ever since I was a little girl, my mom, like, they. They say in the Bible that, like, demons shudder at the name of Jesus. And so anytime I'm scared, like, whenever I'm in My room. Like, I still do this this day. I used to do it when I was a little girl, and I told Stella to do this. I'm like, anytime you're scared, like, you feel like a presence or you. Whatever, you just say Jesus. And, like, all the demons will. Just because they're scared. And demons are. So here's the one thing about, like, spiritual warfare. Warfare that people forget is that Jesus is stronger. Like, he is stronger than all the. Like, yes, there is a war, and if you allow that war in. But I don't feel scared because I'm like, I have Jesus on my side, and he is stronger. And the demons, like, literally, they're not even. The devil isn't even, like, omniscient or whatever. Like, God is like, God knows.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, like, omnipresent.
Danny Austin
Omni. Omniscient and omnipresent. Omniscient is like, all knowing. All knowing. Like, omni present, omnipresent. All the. All the omnis.
Jordan Ramirez
That's why they had to send a male demon to Landon and a female Dan.
Danny Austin
No, literally, no, I'm totally serious and, like, serious. So demons are like. They're nitpicky. They're like mosquitoes. And if you let them into your house, they will nitpick you, and they will. And that's why people say, you know, don't mess with the Ouija boards. Don't mess with all that stuff. Don't. Don't read that stuff. Don't watch those movies, because, yeah, they're. That's where they are. And then they're gonna come and hang out, but I don't feel scared because I just don't let them in.
Jordan Ramirez
Did you see that new study that connected heavy marijuana use to, like, schizophrenia in teens? It's like, it. It's like the. It was like a long study, and now it's like, I think, like, Scientific American and all of the science publications are now talking about it. And it's basically like, you know, teens specifically, like, if you. You might have to look up the stats. I think it's like.
Danny Austin
I just want to say one thing really fast about. I always. I always go back to this because I thought about this. The reason why I know that drugs are. Are negative and gateways into, like, the spiritual warfare, the spiritual realm, is because why in all of these experiences are they scary? Why are they always bad? Like, why isn't it that I'm having. Why do I not have sleep paralysis and see an angel or rainbows and beautiful teddy bears and all these. It's always negative. It's always evil.
Jordan Ramirez
Well, I think some people do.
Danny Austin
Well, I guess in my experiences is what I'm saying. Like, every single experience I've had, it has been demonic. But that's another way that the devil is deceitful, is that sometimes he'll hide it in something that is good. Good. Like these. Like, people say sometimes on these drugs, they've seen colors they've never seen before. And that's just, like, very. Let's. He's. He's a smart guy. He's a smart guy.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. So they always say, like, oh, weed is. Schizophrenia is like, kind of seeing shadowy figures and stuff. So it's like, that can't be good. I know. So everyone thought they could just puff, puff, pass, just have a good day. Now they're puff, puff, passing and seeing demons. It's tough.
Danny Austin
Okay, but don't you think. Sorry. Just like, think about the science here.
Jordan Ramirez
The stat was 2.4.
Danny Austin
That's also, like. Really?
Jordan Ramirez
Kids who use cannabis before 18 are 2.4 times more likely to develop schizophrenia.
Danny Austin
Okay. Not to be like. Like that, but, like, if you're using cannabis, you're also probably already in a certain demographic that would end up getting schizophrenia.
Jordan Ramirez
I don't. I don't think I.
Danny Austin
You know, I just have to see the study.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay, well, go. Go read the.
Danny Austin
I don't know. I just have to see this.
Jordan Ramirez
It's so weird. You're so selective about what you get dicey about.
Danny Austin
Because I took a research class in college and we even in college discussed how corrupt the WHO organization was. Like, I had a whole class that was like, world Health Organization.
Jordan Ramirez
But these. Not these flags you plant. I'm like, okay, so.
Danny Austin
Because I just don't believe these, like, general statements that people say. I'm like, what? Like, according to Hill. And, like, even if you did a study, it's also biased anyway. It's like when people say people that floss live longer. It's like, no, people that take care of themselves and floss live longer. It's not because of the actual floss. And, like, maybe it is, but I'm just like. There's a correlation there.
Jordan Ramirez
So you're. Yeah. So weed doesn't cause schizophrenia. You're born that way.
Danny Austin
No. People that. That probably smoke weed also don't take care of themselves in a lot of different ways, which probably causes their minds to have issues.
Jordan Ramirez
Degrade.
Danny Austin
To degrade. Yeah, because if you're smoking weed every day, you probably aren't exercising every day.
Jordan Ramirez
See what I'm saying tomatoes. Tomatoes.
Danny Austin
I'm just saying. I just, like, you know, I don't know about this. Just. I'm a skeptic. I'm like, a little.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, it's so interesting what you decide to get so combative over. It's been fascinating. It's been a new chapter of me learning about you.
Danny Austin
Do you think I'm turning into eight on Enneagram? No. No. What's the five? Maybe I'm a five. A challenge.
Jordan Ramirez
No, no, that's. That's a researcher.
Danny Austin
Well, maybe I'm a researcher.
Jordan Ramirez
Or it's investigator.
Danny Austin
Or investigator.
Jordan Ramirez
I don't think you're. You're an eight on the Enneagram with me, but no one else.
Danny Austin
No eights like confrontation. I don't like confrontation.
Jordan Ramirez
Babe, you love confrontation with me. I mean, our whole telepathy tapes.
Danny Austin
No, I just. Honestly, I. No, I. I don't like conversation with you. I just can't believe that you believed that.
Jordan Ramirez
Right? Just like.
Danny Austin
It's so scary.
Jordan Ramirez
It's like. That's what I'm saying, though, babe.
Danny Austin
I wasn't alone in that. Everybody was on my side. They were like, jordan's losing it. They were like, he's losing himself.
Jordan Ramirez
I'm just saying, on one hand, you're saying demons are tickling your toes, and then on the other hand, you're saying, yeah, telepathy and these kids aren't. Don't have a deeper relationship because, like.
Danny Austin
It'S literally not talked about in the Bible. Like, literally ever. Jesus never was like, let me give you the gift of telepathy. So, yeah, I'm a little skeptical.
Jordan Ramirez
But you're right. You're right, you're right.
Danny Austin
No, it's honestly, like, scary how much you. It's scary to me how much you, like, you build. It's like, what do they say? It's a turtle on top of a turtle on top of a turtle.
Jordan Ramirez
Who says that?
Danny Austin
The people that are atheists.
Jordan Ramirez
What?
Danny Austin
Guys, y'all have never heard this? You're kidding me. Oh, my God. I will tell you. Let me ask Chatgpt. Because it will.
Jordan Ramirez
Now everyone's gonna, like, know when you're chatgpt with the stupid clink of your little new necklace. They're like, oh, no, she's pulling out her phone.
Danny Austin
Okay, guys, a turtle on top of a turtle. Hold on, let me just see. It says, ah, it's a turtle on top of a turtle. You're touching something really deep, and it's symbolic. Don't you worry. Oh, this is the same that people say it's turtles all the way down. You never heard of that?
Jordan Ramirez
No. Actually, I think someone at DIVI said this.
Danny Austin
Okay. It shows that sometimes explanations never really end. Every answer leads to more questions. Why was I saying that?
Jordan Ramirez
I think you were riled up about telepathy again.
Danny Austin
No, but why did I say it's a turtle on top of the turtle? Anybody remember? I know. Me either.
Jordan Ramirez
That's a d.
Danny Austin
It's true.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, but no one knows why you said that.
Danny Austin
I know I said it because.
Jordan Ramirez
Including you.
Danny Austin
No, but we were talking about telepathy tapes. Oh. Oh, I remember. I remember now. It's so good when I remember. Okay. I was like, dory, it's like, remember, I'm back. It's me. What I was saying is, it's a turtle on top of a turtle for you. Because it's like you build explanations on top of each other, but you never actually go back to, like, the where did the turtle actually begin? Which for me is typically the Bible you usually use. Well, this podcast said this, or this person said this. So you build all these theories on top of each other. Like, for example, you say, it's all kids with certain types of disorders or whatever have deeper faiths than people that don't. I'm like, I don't really believe that because. But I do believe because in the Bible, it did talk about how a lot of people that were, like, less fortunate did because they. It's. It's like. So I'm like, yes, that makes sense. But sometimes the. I don't know. Just some of the things you say. I'm like, where did you get this from? You're like a podcast.
Jordan Ramirez
The words. The words get you tripped up.
Danny Austin
No, not the words.
Jordan Ramirez
God gave you the gift of telepathy. The prophecy, telepathy, you know, tomato, tomato, babe.
Danny Austin
They literally, in the tapes, are talking about how they read people's minds from these letterboards.
Jordan Ramirez
Did you listen to them?
Danny Austin
Yes, I did.
Jordan Ramirez
I was finished last episode. I watched the videos.
Danny Austin
I watched the videos. I'm just like, no. It's just like, you're so annoying. The story goes something like this. A scientist gives a lecture about the earth and the universe. A little old lady stands up and says, that's wrong. The world actually rests on the back of a giant turtle. The scientists ask, and what is the turtle standing on? She says, another turtle. The scientist asked, and what's the turtle that. That turtle standing on? She smiles and says, it's turtles all the way down.
Jordan Ramirez
And then the atheists were like, yes, yes. So succinct.
Danny Austin
It's turtles all the way down.
Jordan Ramirez
They're like, oh, man. Yeah.
Danny Austin
No matter how far you go looking for the ultimate foundation of reality, there's always another layer. Yeah, see, I don't believe that. Anyway. Anyways, who wants to hear this again? Oh, it's so good. Okay, so let's get into the episode for today. This have been about an hour. Okay. I do want to talk about one thing because do you know this guy named Bill Belichick?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, babe.
Danny Austin
Everyone knows he's my dad's age. I just want everybody to know for sure. So this is something that will make you go, Bill Belichick, 73. CBS interview on April 27 quickly turned awkward when his girlfriend, Jordan Hudson interrupted to shut down a question about the relationship. Hudson, who was present during the interview, interjected with, we're not talking about this. After the interviewer asked Belichick how they met. The interview also touched on Belichick's exit from the New England Patriots in the absence of Robert Kraft in his new book, is Kraft the owner further contributing to the awkward, awkward atmosphere? So here's the thing for me, you.
Jordan Ramirez
Know, he's like famous for, like, he's always like this with the press. He gives like one word answers. He's like, he's like famous for managing the press like this. They'll be like, they'll be like, hey, you know, Tom Brady did something really controversial and he'll be like, I didn't see it. Like, his press interviews are always like this. But I guess the controversies that she interrupted.
Danny Austin
Well, yeah, because it seems like 26 year old girl. Yeah, I don't, I don't know what, what we got our panties in a bundle over. But it, I did watch the clip and it does seem like she's kind of running his online Persona and she's kind of like running his Instagram because they've posted some kind of. You see this different kind of softer side of Bill. They're doing yoga positions and they're like, he's hiking up mountains with him.
Jordan Ramirez
Literally 10 minutes before this episode, you go, guys, have you ever heard of Bill Belichick? Apparently he's a really good coach. And now you're like, she's showing a softer side of old Bill.
Danny Austin
Well, here's the thing. I can only imagine, because he's a Super bowl winner winning coach. Yeah, he's this like, like, I would assume a lot of money in the guy world that he's probably a pretty intense guy. Like, he's a football coach.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Yeah, right. Like, so, like, wouldn't that be weird to see your football coach, the guy that's yelling at this, all these old men on the field doing this like straddling pose with a 24 year old?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, I think he's just on top of a mountain. So, like, I think he's probably going through a late stage crisis because he left the New England Patriots.
Danny Austin
His wife.
Jordan Ramirez
He went to coach a college football team, University of North Carolina. Now he's dating a 26 year old.
Danny Austin
And he went through a divorce. His wife that he had before was smoking hot. You know, she was like, I actually didn't know this. Oh, she was gorge.
Jordan Ramirez
And like, how long were they married?
Danny Austin
I think they got married in like the 70s, I'm pretty sure.
Jordan Ramirez
You want to, you want to pull out your little dangly.
Danny Austin
Oh, yeah. Here. This means chat. GPT. I'm gonna brainwash you guys into. Great job.
Jordan Ramirez
She's 24, not 26.
Danny Austin
I'm so, I'm so sorry. That was offensive. So I'm pretty sure Bill. Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't talking ex wife. I'm pretty sure they got married like 1973, 1977. They divorced in 2006. I mean, 2006. She's a smoke show. I mean, gorge.
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, yeah. Like, she's pretty.
Danny Austin
She's so pretty. And she's like.
Jordan Ramirez
Well, he's been divorced since 2006. That's like almost 20 years.
Danny Austin
But it's just kind of sad, you know, it's kind of sad. So do they. I wonder if they have kids together. Bill.
Jordan Ramirez
And I think he's. He doesn't give the press anything about his private life, which I think is the biggest.
Danny Austin
180 with Jordan Hudson. Now he's like managing his social medias.
Jordan Ramirez
Can you just help me understand the psychology? And I'm not trying to offend anyone.
Danny Austin
Of a 24 year old that goes after a 73 year old.
Jordan Ramirez
Yes.
Danny Austin
I would say it's like someone that wants, like to be taken care of by like a father figure, really, that they have to make out with.
Jordan Ramirez
Yikes.
Danny Austin
Oh, oh. Oh, my gosh. Can you tell me the psychology? Oh, just kidding.
Jordan Ramirez
So, yeah, yeah, I would say it's.
Danny Austin
Someone that probably just wants to be taken care of. I mean, who knows? Maybe that's true love, you know, but.
Jordan Ramirez
Like, he's like, he's real old.
Danny Austin
I know, isn't it?
Jordan Ramirez
I mean, can I ask you a question? Like, do you find Bill Belichick to Be a good looking guy.
Danny Austin
No, it's not. It's my type.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. Okay.
Danny Austin
Not my type.
Jordan Ramirez
Subjectively speaking. I feel like he's not like a catch.
Danny Austin
No. No.
Jordan Ramirez
So it's got to be something else. Driven, money.
Danny Austin
I wonder what it could be.
Jordan Ramirez
Power.
Danny Austin
I wonder. I'm so confused.
Jordan Ramirez
Interesting.
Danny Austin
No, I mean, if I was writing in private. No, there's really nothing that would get me to do that I was like, if I was wearing head to toe, Chanel riding in. No, I still couldn't.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
No, there's just really nothing for me that I. I don't. I don't really understand it. But, you know, I. I think I could understand it if I felt like I was on my own my entire life. I still wasn't married and I just wanted someone to take care of me.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. So you're like, you're like almost like searching for like a father figure, 40.
Danny Austin
Not like a partner. Like someone just like, literally take care of me.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
But, you know, you just don't know. Okay. So I do also want to talk about the Biebs.
Jordan Ramirez
I know I don't think he's doing well. Well, but people say he is.
Danny Austin
I know. It's so like, 50. 50. So. In a viral video, Justin Bieber documented his experience with the paparazzi, capturing them persistently photographing him while he's. His security tried to create space. The video, shared on his Instagram, shows the pop star being surrounded by photographers, some of whom were flashing lights and clicking cameras. Despite repeated requests to back off, Bieber captioned the video. This has to stop promoting prompting fans to voice their concerns over the intrusion. You know, this is definitely giving, like, Britney Spears before her breakdown.
Jordan Ramirez
Don't they call the paparazzi?
Danny Austin
Not every time. No. No, no.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay.
Danny Austin
No, the. There are like, scheduled paparazzi shoots when. When like you're. Let's just say you're like launching a new album or new product. Then yeah, you'd be like, hey, listen, Danny's about to walk outside. We're launching Divi. Whatever I want her to be wearing. Not that. I'm just saying strategically, that's what brands where people will do. The Kardashians do it all the time. Bieber. Hailey Bieber has probably even done it. I think that's why with this Justin Bieber situation, like, I really feel for him. I feel like he's very stuck, like, in where he's at. Because I think what he doesn't realize is there is a way to get out of it. It's like, you are in a hub. You live. You're living and spending so much time in a place with the paparazzi. Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
Why doesn't he just move from.
Danny Austin
Like, why don't you just escape it? Like, go do what John Mayer did or go do what Post Malone does. Go post up in Utah. Like, you're not going to have the paparazzi going out to Utah or, you know, Wyoming or whatever. Like, there are ways to escape it, but I think mentally you get trapped and you feel trapped and you convince yourself that you're trapped. And maybe because he has, like, his community out there or whatever, but it's also, like, if you don't want to be filmed, you don't have to go to, like, these places. Like, la. Hollywood is known for being that. And so if you want to get out of it, then get out of it.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, didn't he, like, didn't people encourage him to do that? And he posted. He was like, why would I flee from the darkness? Like, I need to be here, boots on the ground. Like, he kind of, like, justified.
Danny Austin
I don't know that, but I feel like it's destroying him. And the reason why I know that it's destroying him is because the constant negativity that he's putting out about his life right now and what's happening. Like, not to say that he's victimizing himself, but, like, let's be real, he has a lot to be thankful for and a lot to be grateful for. Like, he has a healthy baby, he has an amazing wife, he has great success, he has fans that love him. And when you put yourself in unhealthy situations, it starts to. To, like, you're blinded to all the great, the good that you have in your life, and all you focus on is this negative energy that's draining you from it. And my one thing for Justin Bieber is I'd be like, dude, you got to learn how to set some boundaries. And, like, if this is taking the life out of you, you have to be wise enough. Like, you have a family now. And, like, you need to remove yourself from. From that situation because it's affecting your mental health. Look how much it's affecting you. I do feel for him. It's hard. The paparazzi, they're like. But that's just the name of the game with. When you live there and you go out, like, that's what's gonna happen. So, like, leave. Like, leave. It's. It's not a good place. Do you think I had demons when I was there. So, like, I'm telling you, it's not a good place. I'll tell you that. They've never come back to Dallas, Texas.
Jordan Ramirez
Do. Do you think he's on drugs?
Danny Austin
No. He definitely smokes weed.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Who knows what else is in that stuff? But yeah, I mean, it's just. And it's. It's hard for people to, like, relate to celebrities like that because it's like, dude, you really do. Like, you could have it all, you know? But I think that they just get sick in this. In. In their minds. Like, in this world. Been there, but not like the same.
Jordan Ramirez
She's a blow up his life.
Danny Austin
That's what I'm saying.
Jordan Ramirez
Just call us. I'm like, call Danny.
Danny Austin
Listen, listen. We got a lake house. You would love it.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, bring Haley.
Danny Austin
Bring Haley. Call me.
Jordan Ramirez
We'll trade product.
Danny Austin
But that's the. That's the hard thing about being mentally ill or being depressed or whatever. You can't see the good things that are. That you have. It's hard.
Jordan Ramirez
You think he's sad about. I wonder if he still talks to Carl Lentz.
Danny Austin
Oh, I doubt it. I mean, honestly, it doesn't seem like his faith is like, I don't know where he's at in his faith. Like, who am I to say? But I would feel like if that happened to me, like, if Carlin's situation happened to me, it would.
Jordan Ramirez
It would shake some things up.
Danny Austin
It would shake some things up for me. It would be hard. It would be hard. I still love the Biebs. Did you see his posts he posted? Like, he was like, me and Haley are like the Joneses that you can't keep up with.
Jordan Ramirez
Like, he was being funny.
Danny Austin
No, he's being serious. He was like, he's like, I have all these haters, like, people hating on me. But, like, I would too, if I saw me and Haley were. What did he used to say?
Jordan Ramirez
Oh, he was like. He was trying to say, like, we're good.
Danny Austin
He's like, I'd be jealous of me too. I got this, like, amazing wife and we're always so breezy. So then I had to, like, look up the word breezy and I had to understand, like, what that meant for the young. The young Judd these days.
Jordan Ramirez
This is kind of mean. But should people still care about the Biebs? Because he hasn't released any music in quite some time. Right?
Danny Austin
I think people will always care about the B's because he gave us so much, like, during those, like, key parts of our life.
Jordan Ramirez
Got it.
Danny Austin
And, like, honestly, it's like a gratitude thing. Well, not only that. Like, we watched him grow up, you know, like, we watched him become a man. Do you remember, like, whenever he went through puberty and everyone was saying that he wasn't gonna have a good voice anymore?
Jordan Ramirez
Oh. And then he was just like, no.
Danny Austin
Then he was still amazing.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
People were like, oh, my gosh, he's not gonna be able to hit the same notes because of his puberty voice. It's like we kind of feel like we raised Bieber together, but now.
Jordan Ramirez
But now we're destroying him. We should care less about Bieber.
Danny Austin
Or are we destroying him? Or is he destroying himself?
Jordan Ramirez
Tomato, tomato.
Danny Austin
Did Britney Spears get destroyed or she. Because here's the thing that I look at. I look at all these celebrities that you don't hear about.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Why don't you see all these other people being photographed all the time and put out? And, like, because they protect themselves from it. They remove themselves from the situation. I think it's like, it's like a wisdom that comes.
Jordan Ramirez
You know what I. You know, it's wisdom. It's turtles all the way down. That's what I know.
Danny Austin
It's turtles.
Jordan Ramirez
That's all I can answer.
Danny Austin
Right. According to new reports, the White House is considering incentives for Americans to get married and have children to help raise the country's birth rate. Because birth rates are declining. Right. Like, people aren't having babies anymore. This comes. Except for me, a lot of them.
Jordan Ramirez
She's doing her duty.
Danny Austin
This comes after new. New reports indicate the US Birth rate has continued to slow. The baby bonus is a proposed financial incentive, like a direct cash payment, aimed at boosting birth rates in the United States. The Trump administration has considered a $5,000 bonus for every American mother after she gives birth. Okay, what's. Like, we need more than that. The idea is being explored as a way to address the declining birth rate in the U.S. there have also been rumors of a national medal being awarded to those who give birth, which is so funny because I literally. My video that I made about if you give a unmedicated birth, we should all get medals. I'm just saying, like, we can all get them. Even if it was. Even if it was medicated, we can all get medals. I was kidding. But, like, we. We should. Okay. The birth rate hit a low in 2023, when just under 3.6 million babies were born in the United States. That year's total was about 76,000, less than 2022, and was the lowest one year total since 1979, according to the S. Or the CDC. They're totally corrupt, too. And prevention. A declining birth rate could have implications on the US Such as a smaller workforce. Honestly, Never mind. As someone who has been through birth, do you think $5,000 would incentivize you to have a child? I think all that baby gear. The baby gear is outrageous. And so knowing you had $5,000 to spend on, you know, the diapers and all. Yeah, for sure.
Jordan Ramirez
I think the core issue they're trying to solve for is that, like, we're not giving enough societal recognition to the job it is to be a mother.
Danny Austin
So true.
Jordan Ramirez
Because I think they're modeling it off of.
Danny Austin
And you know who did that to me?
Jordan Ramirez
Can you Google this? I think it's Hungary because Hungary has a really high birth rate. And I think it's because they hold a lot of prestige for the idea of motherhood.
Danny Austin
Love that.
Jordan Ramirez
And so a lot of people are probably laughing at this idea, but I think that they're. I think they're true.
Danny Austin
Are people laughing at it or do people. Why? Because it's, like, not good enough.
Jordan Ramirez
Well, but they're also laughing at the metal idea, probably.
Danny Austin
Wait, wait. People, wait. People don't want to have kids for financial reasons.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, like, they're. They're.
Danny Austin
And they're laughing because 5,000 isn't enough. No, for sure. To me, I'm like, it's better than nothing.
Jordan Ramirez
You know, that's optimistic. I'm just, like, overly optimistic. I mean, sometimes missing the practicality blind spot.
Danny Austin
No, but like $5,000 to get the stroller and to get the car seat and to like. I mean, I'm not saying it's going to help you raise the child, but it's. It helps with the birth of the child is like coming home and having, like, the monitor and all of that.
Jordan Ramirez
I mean, you know what I've realized about females? Can I tell you?
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
We talked about this. The airport.
Danny Austin
Totally.
Jordan Ramirez
I feel like men have always been pretty steady.
Danny Austin
Yes.
Jordan Ramirez
In their societal roles. It's like, provide, protect. I wish there was another P. But provide and protect. That's the gist. And women have always, like, if you look at, like, 1920s, provide, protect, and populate. Yeah, true. And so 1920s, roaring 20s women get the right to vote, and then they, for the first time are like, oh, I can explore independence outside of the home. So then they go through that cycle, World War II. Women typically come back home and. Or are working while men are away. And then it's like, 70s 80s feminism, and now it's. I feel like. I feel like we're on, like, a trad wife shift back a little bit. Maybe it's just in Texas, but it feels like it's shifting.
Danny Austin
Well, obviously not. Look at the numbers of, like, yes, you might feel that within.
Jordan Ramirez
I think it's like, yeah, I think it's, like, now social sphere.
Danny Austin
But no, overall, women are not trad wives. They are working women because it's so expensive to live and to just be. So they have to go work. And then. Honestly, my. The reason why I think that this is happening, why people are not getting married and not having babies, is because of apps.
Jordan Ramirez
I agree.
Danny Austin
Actually, it's 100 to me, and I.
Jordan Ramirez
Think it's mostly male driven.
Danny Austin
I have. We know so many single people that, like, want to get married and, like, especially female. And I don't know if it's just a Dallas thing, but it's like, these men just have the pick of the, like, the. Like, they just can just keep on swiping. And they have one issue with one girl. Do you remember the time that we went out and I threw a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at you? That was, like, pretty early on in our dating. If the apps would have been out, you'd been like, this girl's psycho. I'm just gonna get back in that app and find a better girl. But thank God we didn't have apps. So he was like, I'll just make this one work.
Jordan Ramirez
It's like, I love her all over. She's a little crazy.
Danny Austin
I love her and. But, like, think about it. If that would have happened today, you'd have been like, you know what? It's. I'm okay breaking up with Danny. I'm not saying you. But, like, this is the thought that I'm okay breaking up with her because I got 30 more to choose from. So then it just prolongs and prolongs and people don't get married, and then they don't have children. Like, I truly think that's.
Jordan Ramirez
No, I totally agree. And I think people are getting married later outside of their, like, birthing years, which makes sense. And so. But even the married people. Like, I was talking to one of our divi employees at flc, and we were in, like, this ironically, like, deep conversation about, like, her struggle with identity of, like, she has her firstborn, but she, like, knows she wants to work, and she's like, I just feel pulled and ripped in half. And I was like, oh, you should talk to Danny. I was like, I feel like she struggled with the same thing. And, like, men have never really struggled with that. Like, we've never really struggled with, like, our role in society and, like, our identity in society. And I've really felt for you a lot as you've gone through this journey. And I think what this policy is trying to do is trying to acknowledge that mothering children is a job and is one of the most important jobs and, like, bringing more prestige back to this idea of motherhood. Because weren't you raised in, like, the you can have it all generation for females, where it's like, oh, I can work and be a mom? And I think the more we've tried that, it's been, like, decently unsuccessful because something has to give, right?
Danny Austin
No, it's not that you can't work and be a mom. It's. It's just hard to be, like, excelling.
Jordan Ramirez
That's what I'm saying. Like, something has to give.
Danny Austin
Yeah. You just. It's like the strive and the excelling part of it is. It's. Is what's tough.
Jordan Ramirez
And I think it's rare to meet a female that's like, hey, like, I am so passionate and excited about, like, doing nothing but being an excellent mother to my children. Like, I'm the CEO of this home. I'm the CEO of my kids, which really should be an ideal that's raised up more. It's just not happening. So I think that the metal thing is probably getting a lot of memes and a lot of.
Danny Austin
I love it.
Jordan Ramirez
A lot of hate, but I kind of agree with the underlying heart and sentiment of what they're trying to do.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
Maybe Bad execution, I guess.
Danny Austin
I don't.
Jordan Ramirez
Or not. I don't know.
Danny Austin
Maybe.
Jordan Ramirez
Do you want a medal?
Danny Austin
I mean, I'd rather have cash, but if it's, like, if the cash is going to be 5,000 and the metal, I'm like, yeah, why not? Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
You know what? I also told this girl, can I. I. I actually created a corporate policy.
Danny Austin
Oh.
Jordan Ramirez
I told her that When Divvy crosses 100 million in revenue, I said, because this has always been my dream. Divi Daycare.
Danny Austin
I know, Sam.
Jordan Ramirez
Divi daycare. And the reason for it. It's, like, kind of a funny concept, but we have a 95% female workforce. They're all starting to have kids. So we had to, like, create our mat Leave policy.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
If we were to subsidize or create a daycare for those kids, like, we're effectively giving the moms of Divi the ability to not have to wrestle with that identity because their kids come to work with them. And also, we're subsidizing their childcare costs as a company, which I just don't understand why more private companies don't do that. It makes economic sense.
Danny Austin
I think Shana said she had it at her old law firm.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Yum, yum.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. And I think that, like, for me, I always. I always question when the government is trying to do something that I feel like the private sector should do. And I feel like, as business owners, we should have a greater responsibility of, like, taking care of the flock of females within the workforce.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
So anyway, I'm gonna have to sell that at the ladder to the board, but I'll get it done.
Danny Austin
I love it. I love the idea. I've always envisioned that, too.
Jordan Ramirez
I know, right? So it's like. And we can just do it on that bottom floor. I don't even need a new tenant.
Danny Austin
That's so true.
Jordan Ramirez
Just put them, Jackie.
Danny Austin
And we. We do have, like, a somewhat smaller team, so it wouldn't be, like, overwhelming, you know?
Jordan Ramirez
No.
Danny Austin
Yeah. There'd probably be, like, five babies in their max.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. Have you seen a little gym?
Danny Austin
No.
Jordan Ramirez
They buy some playmats, and they're like.
Danny Austin
40 kids running around.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, they buy some playmats. Some, like, basic material, like monkey bars.
Danny Austin
Like one of those padded rooms. Everything.
Jordan Ramirez
Now, liability waivers. That's gotta be big.
Danny Austin
Yeah.
Jordan Ramirez
That's gonna really sign up.
Danny Austin
Yeah, I know, but when we have to bring in, like, really, really, like, legit.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. But think about it, like, you know.
Danny Austin
Well, the nice thing is you're just upstairs, too.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. You find some teachers?
Danny Austin
Totally. Teachers don't like being teachers these days.
Jordan Ramirez
No, they want to be.
Danny Austin
No, they want to be. They want to be a divvy taker Club.
Jordan Ramirez
Divvy.
Danny Austin
Club Divy. That's insane. You know?
Jordan Ramirez
Wow.
Danny Austin
I know.
Jordan Ramirez
Look at us.
Danny Austin
Should we just.
Jordan Ramirez
Are we saving America?
Danny Austin
Start schools? What are we doing? No, I mean, I.
Jordan Ramirez
We also will give out medals.
Danny Austin

My. My thing is it. It does kind of feel. You know, it does kind of. It's giving, like, it's never good enough for people that are upset about this, you know? Like, at least it's a step in the right direction, you know, the $5,000 bonus.
Jordan Ramirez
It's like, that's why if you're in government you just can't care. You're like, you're never going to please everyone.
Danny Austin
It's like, of course it costs, like, a bajillion dollars to raise kids, and it's like. Okay. Realistically, though, can we be giving everybody a bajillion dollars each? No. Like, 5,000. That's a. That's a good amount for the beginning. The first year of. Of all the baby gear it covers. Baby gear?
Jordan Ramirez
Totally. What time is it, guys?
Danny Austin
Well, you got. You got a hot day or something?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah, I got to get a haircut.
Danny Austin
Really? Yeah, really. What time is it? Is it?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
How much time do you have?
Jordan Ramirez
One minute.
Danny Austin
One minute?
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah.
Danny Austin
Wow. I had so much more I wanted to talk about.
Jordan Ramirez
Okay, let's go.
Danny Austin
No, it's okay. If you got somewhere to be. Jordan's got somewhere to be. Who you trying to look good for?
Jordan Ramirez
Honestly? Probably you. I'm trying to get out of that doghouse.
Danny Austin
Why is it that, like, you cut your hair every time I, like, start to love it.
Jordan Ramirez
You love it because it's been windblown today.
Danny Austin
Babe, you look so hot this weekend of the lake.
Jordan Ramirez
Really? See, I didn't even feel that energy from you. I thought so too, but I was like, man, no.
Danny Austin
We were meeting this new couple, and, like, I was like, damn, he looks so good right now. Like, this is a perfect time for them to come over. And then Jordan goes to the. To the bathroom and puts a hat on because you're, like, trying to get ready for them. I'm like, take that off. You look so fine right now.
Jordan Ramirez
I appreciate that.
Danny Austin
Yeah, just don't touch me.
Jordan Ramirez
Yeah. No, for real, it's like. It's like, hey, you look good. But, like, stay away.
Danny Austin
No, we can wrap up, because I was gonna go into, like, a whole other thing.
Jordan Ramirez
Like what?
Danny Austin
I mean, we didn't really talk about old flc. We didn't talk about bringing Stella to work. We just had so much more we could talk about, but Jordan's haircut.
Jordan Ramirez
So why don't you finish?
Danny Austin
He's got somewhere to be.
Jordan Ramirez
Why don't you finish?
Danny Austin
No, I don't like it. I just feel like I'm talking to myself. Okay, well, thank you guys for listening to this podcast. We love you guys, and we'll talk to you later. Bye.
