It was a trail she knew by heart and had hiked countless times before.But during the hike, Barbara disappeared without a trace. According to the only witness, she was just 20 to 30 feet behind him when he turned away for less than a minute. When he looked back, she was gone.Despite extensive searches, investigators found no sign of Barbara, no evidence of what happened, and no clear answers.
