After attending the National Ag in the Classroom conference, Allison found a wealth of inspiration for agriculture lessons. She applied for the mini-grant program and received funds to help bring some of those ideas to life. She shares those success stories and some of her goals for the future! In this casual conversation the pair discuss a wide range of issues important to Missouri farmers and ranchers, including the upcoming vote to renew the Parks, Soils & Water sales tax. The one-tenth-of-one-percent tax has helped Missouri preserve more than 192 million tons of soil since its initial inception in 1984, and it continues to provide free access to our state parks and historic sites.
