Alhamdulillah Salatu salaam ala rasoolallah Allah. We ask Allah, teach us what benefit us, benefit us from what he taught us and increase us in knowledge. Alhamdulillah Rabba alameen. Last Thursday when I reminded myself and I reminded you of the dua of Istftah Masha Allah, many brothers, every time they see me outside says allahu akbaru kabira Alhamdulillahi Kathira subhanallahi bukratan wa al sila Mashallah. Everybody memorized it. Alhamdulillah. That's great. Tonight, inshaallah ta'ala an amazing, amazing dua, Subhanallah. But before I tell you the dua, I want you to think who's asking for the dua and who's teaching the dua? Who is the best sahabi ever? Yalaya Shabab? Abu Bakr Siddiq. Without any doubt, Abu Bakr Siddiq. And the hadith is in Muslim and Bukhari, the highest level of authenticity. Abu Bakr Sadiq came to Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. And he said ya rasulallah alimni dua adawhu fi salati. Ya rasoolallah. Teach me a du'a that I will make in my salat before I continue. What are the two positions where you are or where it is highly recommended to make dua? Sujood. And when is the second time? Before Taslim in Sujood, Rasulullah said make a lot of dua because you are the closest to Allah and before Taslim also the hadith is in Bukhari in the hadith where Rasulullah taught us the tahiyat. He taught us how to say the tahiyat at Tahiyatulillah all the way. And then he said at the end of the hadith said before he makes taslim, anybody let him choose what is their favorite dua and make it. Rasulullah said that. So now let's go back to the hadith. Abu Bakr. Yeah Rasoolallah. Teach me a dua to make in my salat. That means this dua either in sujood or before you make taslim. Okay? Most the people know that Abu Bakr used to make it before Tasleem Rasulullah said allahumma in. Now everybody's saying, oh, Allahu akbar was so easy compared to this. It is a little bit, you know, long, but wallahi it is amazing dua. Now listen, go Back to what I told you in the beginning. Who's asking and who's answering? Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam is telling Abu Bakr. The first Khalifa guaranteed Jannah, the father in law of Rasulullah. The best Sahabi, the best human being after the messengers. He's telling him to say. Say Ya Allah. I have wronged myself excessively. Rasulullah is telling Abu Bakr to say this Dua. So if I ask Rasulullah to teach me a Dua. If Abu Bakr is saying he wronged himself. If Abu Bakr is saying he wronged himself. So what do we say? And the source you know from his wisdom. He teaches everybody according to them. You know to who's asking? Person came teach me said right? Another person came to teach me. He taught him something else. So Abu Bakr is saying I have wronged myself a lot excessively. Look at the beauty and the etiquette of Dua. And no one, Ya Allah. No one forgives the sins except you. No Wali, no Maulana, no Mufti, no Shaykh. Nobody forgives the dunoob the sins except Allah Azzawajal. No one forgives the sins other than all Maghfiratan Min indik. Forgive me or grant me a forgiveness from you. What does that mean? That means Ya Allah. Me myself, I do not deserve to be forgiven. But because you are so forgiving and so merciful, give me a maghfira from you. All the etiquettes of Dua is in this Dua. This is what made Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr understanding the deen. Look how much he is humbling himself before he asks. And this is something that we should always do. Anytime you want to ask Allah Azzawajal for anything, humble yourself completely. If Abu Bakr is wronging himself, what do we say? Tell Allah Ya Allah. I am so sinful, Ya Allah. I've been so behind in my duties. Ya Allah. I have so many shortcomings. Ya Allah. Ya Allah. Ya Allah. And then you ask and then use. So he humbled himself first and then he used Al Ghafur Rahim asking Allah with his names. This is the best form of Dua. Imagine your son coming to you and saying Baba Allah, I'm very sorry. I feel so wrong. I did this and I know I should have been better immediately. As a father, with this much rahmah we forgive and forget everything. How about Ar Raham Rahimeen? When you come to him and you already humbling yourself and you're saying and you're admitting that you are a sinner. So please memorize this Torah. Rasulullah used to for example, he used to make this dua before Taslim you could as simple as Allah. Allah became nanna any dua but this dua. Subhanallah Abu Bakr, the best Sahabi, asked Rasulullah to teach him a Dua. So please learn this dua inshaallah. It's in Bukhari and in Muslim and if you want this dua, I would be more than happy to share it with you. Repeat it before you make the Taslimidun Majid Allahummain and then you make the Taslim. Tomorrow is Friday, our weekly Eid. Come to Fajr in jama at 6aM so you can be protected the whole day. Make a lot of Salat on Rasol Allah Salah la Salem. I'll see you at Fajr inshallah.
