Alhamdulillah, we will continue tonight preparing ourselves and our community for the greatest month of the year, which is about 15, 16 days away. We ask Allah to keep us alive to witness it. And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in this month, in that in Ramadan, to make us from the people who are actively working to earn his rida, his pleasure. Amin Rabbi, before we start, tonight is one of the biggest nights of the year. Tonight is the night of the 15th of Shaban. In this night there are many people who have innovated new ibadat. They came up with Salawat 100 raka. You recite in this one this much, and you recite in that one this much. You say this saying thousand times, all these kind of things that they attributed to the 15th of Shaban. Tonight is the night of the 15th of Shaban. Whomsoever is fasting Tuesday, Wednesday, I mean Wednesday, Thursday, 13, 14, and tomorrow is the 15th. So tonight is the night of the 15th. Like we mentioned the khutbah, but we will repeat it. Maybe you are not here. Subhanallah. One of the greatest things about this night is that Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He told us that Allah Azzawajal will look at all these 2 billion Muslims and he will forgive them all except two people. Imagine, forgive them all except two people. One is a Mushrik. One is a person that associate partners with Allah in his actions, and a person who is Mushahn. And we explained that Mushahin is a person that has not spoken to his Muslim brother, has not spoken to his Muslim sister for over three days. There are some people in the crowd, have not spoken to family members in three years, three months, 10 years. And if you look at the reason, you will find out something really trivial, not even you cannot even mention. So imagine if a alcohol drinker, if a drunk person repent tonight, he will be forgiven. If a person who deals with riba repents tonight, he will be forgiven. If a person who is a gambler repents tonight, he will be forgiven. And you, because you do not talk to your cousin, because of the $500 he owes you, you're not forgiven. This is what the Hadith said. Everybody will be forgiven. Of course, the ones who do major sins, they have to ask for tawbah. But except a Mushahin, a person who you know like, I have nothing in my heart towards him, but it's killing me that he is successful and I'm not Mushahin, I have Forgiven her. But I will never ever forget what they have done. Mushahin Hamas. Let it go. Let it go. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will give you your right on the day of judgment. So imagine all these people are forgiven and me because of just a small text. And I really want you tonight. If there is any one of us, please do not. It's not worth it. This is a Hadith Rasulullah. Tonight everyone will be forgiven. And I want to be forgiven. Just like all of us. We all want to be forgiven. So take your phone and Yallah. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. I am in a halaqah right now and I just heard the Shaykh saying that everyone is forgiven tonight except a person that has a fight, an argument that he never fixed with his brother, with his sister. So Yaakhi wallahi. It's not worth it. May Allah forgive me and forgive you. And Yallah plus send. Go ahead, do it. Because the night is over. You have one year to wait. This is the night. This is the beauty of this night. So many. Like I told you, there's a lot of sweets distributed and all that stuff. You know what? There's a very simple formula. Anyone who come up with something that you have doubt about, listen to this and memorize it so you can use it with anyone who come up with a new ibaadah, whatever that thing is. Few questions. Number one. Let's say someone is celebrating tonight and having dinner and sweets and all that stuff, and praying 100 rakah and all the things that they're doing in this night. You ask him few questions. Number one. What you are doing, is it or a masiyya, Is it an act of worship or is it an act of disobedience to Allah? That's the first question. What is he going to say? What he's going to answer? Shunay mean Allah. Are you sleeping? Act of worship. He's going to tell you an act of worship. Excellent. Because no way he's going to celebrate a Masiyah. So the first question. Is this an act of worship or is it an act of disobedience? He's going to tell you it's an act of worship. Allahu Akbar. May Allah increase you, brother. Second question. Did Rasulullah miss an act of worship? If he says yes, he's out of Islam. If he says no, you got him. If he says yes, Rasulullah missed an act of worship. Have a nice day. You have a bigger problem than celebrating, right? If he says no, he did not. Excellent. He did not. Tayyb, why are you celebrating it? Where is the Hadith? Rasulullah said, my generation the best. Three generations, mine, the one after it and the one after it. So these are the three best Muslims ever created, right? None of them celebrate what you're celebrating. And Massuh said, these are the best. It might have came 4, 5, 6, 7, 800 years. I'm saying give me something. Qala Rasulullah. Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam. The one who told me which foot to enter the bathroom, he forgot to tell me celebrate the 15th of Shaban. Celebrate my birthday. He forgot the sahaba forgot after he passed away. So this is straightforward. We are not. May Allah guide us all. Maybe some Subhanallah don't think that we are better than. No, no, no. Maybe these people are better than us. But they need to be educated because most of the time we grew up in this culture and we keep going. Khalas, you want to tell me that my grandfather is wrong? This is the mentality we have. And this is the same mentality the people of Quraysh had when Rasulullah came. You want to tell me that all our grandfathers were worshipping something wrong, right? Subhanallah. So may Allah guide us. But we all know that this is the night of forgiveness. May Allah forgive us all. May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Don't let this night pass except he has forgiven all our sins. Ameen Yarbal, Alameen Tayyip. Let's go back to preparing for the month of Ramadan. So we said last week and we explained and I did a mistake in the calculation. Masha Allah. There were people sleeping in the crowd and there were people very alert. Said, yeah, Shaykh, you made a five year mistake. When I included the sleeping. When I added the sleeping, I calculated also the 15 years that I already took off. So there was five years mistake. So the total of life is 27 years. 27 years, which is still nothing compared to eternity. Sah Tayyib. So tonight we're gonna Insha Allah, start the schedule before Ramadan. Start which is now. What do we do before number one, Tawbah in order to get to Ramadan? Remember what we said? Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He said, taqwa is right here and the whole Ramadan is. So I want to make sure. Ahmed, can you close the doors please? So we want to make sure that this heart is clean before Ramadan and One of the ways to cleanse this heart and the best way is tawbah. Tawbah. Right, tawbah. Every single one of us have something that he want us to repent from. Some of us are involved with riba. Ya rab. That's it. Some of us are involved with eating something haram. Some of them, maybe their job or their business is haram. Some of us are watching something haram. Some of us are listening to something haram. This is it. Start from now. Ya Allah, I'm done. Ya Allah. Inni atubuylaik. Ya Allah, please forgive me. I'm done. Please forgive me allah. That's it. 20, 30 Ramadan and I'm still disobeying you. This Ramadan is going to be different. Ya Allah, please forgive me. So some of us sitting in this room, they're gonna say, shaykh, I have nothing to repent from, right? You have to repent from that statement. You have to repent from that statement. Why? Who's going to remind me? I said it hundred times already. Why? Why do we have to repent from that statement? Number one, like Dr. Razi said, Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He used to say, I make istighfar and tawbah hundred times a day. Astaghfirullah, Rasulullah. Number one. Number two. Or maybe this is number two. Number one. Allah told us. Tubu illallah, watubu illallahi jami an ayuha al mu'minun surah. Repent to Allah all who you believe. Repent to Allah. Not the mushrikoon. Al kafiroon, al munafiqun no, al mu'minoon. Repent to Allah. Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So the first thing we should do is to repent to Allah. Ya Allah. One of the most beautiful dua that Rasulullah taught us in our sujood. Right? Allahu wa ahira alaniyatahu wasarrah. Ya Allah, forgive all my sins. The small and the big. The first and the last. The one I did in public and the one I did in secret. So this covers and some additional. And the ones I know and the ones I do not know. Sometimes I make a sin and I forgot. I don't know it's even a sin. So this covered everything. So this dua from the heart in these nights, especially tonight. Ya Allah, forgive all my sins. Ya Allah. That's it. Second, so we clean the heart by asking everybody if you have any issues with anyone Please, wallahi, like I mentioned, no. All the Amal are on hold until you make peace with that brother. All the Siam, the fasting, the Quran, the dua, the charity is on hold until I text him or call him and I say, please forgive me, I have something in my heart towards him. Now, of course, one clarification. If you have something in your heart for someone that is disobeying Allah or creating fitna in the community, or someone who is going and saying the hijab is not a must and all that, that's a normal feeling. You should that feeling. That's not the person we're talking about. I'm talking and we all know we're talking about the person that you do not speak to. He's your cousin, he's your brother in law, she's your sister in law. And then you fought for something very, very trivial. And you haven't spoken to each other. They never visited you since three Ramadans before. These are the people that you know what? Because Rasulullah, when he spoke about Sila, Silat al Rahm connecting with the family members, what did he say? Listen carefully. He said, the one who's considered Wasil, who does Silat Rahm, which is a huge ibadah, he's not the muqafi. What does muqafi mean? What does muqafi mean? You visit me, I visit you. You give me a gift. I give you a gift. You call me, I call you. You text me, I text you. He said, no, this is not the. This is not the Muwas al Wasil. This is normal. This is very normal. Lwasil, the one whom his ilaqa, his relationship is cut because wasallah is to connect. If we are already connected, me and you, all the time, where is the connection I'm trying to fix? It has to be something that was cut and I went beyond my ego and I fixed it. That is so rewarding because Allah knows what's in your heart. You don't want to even talk to these people, but you did it just because, to please Allah, Subhanahu wa ta'ala. And to get your Amal lifted, you must have a schedule. You're going to Ramadan without a schedule. You are really fooling yourself. You are just. If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail. You have to have a schedule. I am going to do this, this, this and that. So I made a quick schedule. Insha'Allah, ta'ala in Ramadan, just like we do every single year, I will have my Own halaqah from every day. Every single day from Fajr all the way to Shrukh. And Rasulullah said, whomsoever pray Fajr in Jama'ah stay in the same masjid remembering Allah. Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Wait for the sun to rise and then 10, 15 minutes to pray to Raka. He will get the azure of Hajj and umrah Tam tam tam hijan umrah Complete, complete, complete. So bi'ihnila ta'ala. Make intention now. This year 30 Hajj and 30 Umrab Iidhnillah. This is the title of my khutbah tomorrow. Aim high, aim high. Not just say yallah. No, no no. We gonna this Ramadan is the best Ramadan ever. Tell yourself. So we're gonna stay till Shrukh. Whether you sit in the halaqah or you sit alone or you are from a different community, we are going to sit till sh day. Remember Allah, read Quran, make dua, say the Adhkar of the Sabah. Whatever you want. Stay till Shuruq every single day. Sister, the intention is something that we have to invest in. Intention. Intention when I'm coming to the Masjid. Intention when I'm going to work. Intention While I'm cooking and cleaning. When I am cooking. Most of the time our sisters, our wives, our mothers are the ones who are cleaning. My sister, while you are cooking. Look at this, look at this. Reward for 5 second intention. 5 seconds. Ya Allah. I am cooking to feed my family who are fasting. And Rasulullah promised whomsoever feed a fasting person will get the same reward. Ya Allah, reward me for everyone I'm feeding. How many you have? 5, 6, 7. You're inviting people over. Make that intention. You will get the reward of everybody you fed. You gave iftar. Just because you made that five second intention. While we are cleaning, while we are driving to work, to school, the tongue is not stopping. Subhanallahu Alhamdulillah wala ilaha illallah wallahu Akbar. Remembering Allah all the time. Everything in Ramadan is baraka. Do not waste your time doing you know Allah, every time I see you know what? Yesterday. Oh my God. The people who are promoting Suhoor fest they gave a hadith. Imagine they're promoting Suhoor fest. There's baraka in the Suhoor. Come to Suhoor festival and get the baraka. The hadith is high 100% but not Baraka. From 6pm to 4am yallah. Buying and selling and men and women all Together and Allahu Alam, if there's music and what baraka is this? I cannot waste a second. In Ramadan, I cannot waste a second. So my tongue is constantly remembering. Allah. Subhanahu wa ta'ala. At work, my brother, my dear brother at work. Lower your gaze. Alhamdulillah ba'al mean this year, Ramadan is a little bit in the wintery, but still you have to lower your gaze because Christina and Nicole, they come to work half naked, and I don't want you to stare. Astaghfirullah. Lower your gaze. Yahabeed. Let your eyes fast, right? The real fasting is that not only the fasting from the food, let your eyes fast, let your tongue fast. From backbiting your ears, fast from listening to music. Everything, every part of my body is fasting. After work. Make a plan. Once a week, I'm going to visit a sick person. We're going to. There's a janaza. We're going to, you know, Yallah, run to the janaza. Subhanallah, you know, especially in Ramadan, Ramadan, you're already fasting and you have the janaza and you visit a sick person and you give a sadaqah and Rasulullah. Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Whomsoever does these four things in one day, Dakar al Jannah. He will be from the people of Jannah. Allah, of course. So the fasting is usually the one that is, you know, I have to plan. But now, because it's Ramadan, it's done already. You are fasting already. Now I want to focus in the last few minutes on the relationship with the Quran. Please listen carefully. We want this year for our relationship with the Quran to be completely different. If you used to read 1 juz the whole month, this Ramadan, you're going to read 10 juzu. If you read 10 this Ramadan, you're going to read 20. If you used to finish one time the Quran, this Ramadan, you're gonna finish it twice. Wallahi. I know people in the crowd right now, they finish every three days in Ramadan. Every three days, one khatma. They know what Ramadan is. They took it seriously. Between qiyam and this and that, you can do it. And I'm gonna prove it tonight that all of us can finish the Quran more than once. Ready? Bismillah. How many. How many days in the. How many hours in Ramadan? 30 times 24, 720 hours. Right? If I make a mistake, correct me now, don't correct me after A week. So there are 720 hours. Let's say you sleep eight. Even though Ramadan eight is out of the question. But let's say 240 hours gone. Sleeping with me. Okay, so we have 480 left. Okay, let's say two raka of taraweeh times 30. Two hours of taraweeh. Two hours of taraweeH times 30, 60 hours are gone. Even though I'm listening the Quran and Sahibaadah. But we are going to calculate everything. 420 hours left. Let's say eight hours, you work a day. Another 240 hours gone. So you have 180. Wallahi, I'm exaggerating a lot. I'm exaggerating a lot. So you have 180 left. Two hours of cooking, eating, driving, sleeping, whatever you want to call it. So you have 120 hours left. Before I show you the next screen, how many minutes does it take you to finish one page? Razi, how many minutes? Two minutes. Two minutes. Afsar, two ziad. Three minutes. Okay, all right, we're gonna go with four minutes. You have 120 hours. Four minutes a page. Six hundred and four pages in the Quran. 2416 minutes to finish one khatam. So that means 40 hours to finish one time the Quran. 40 hours. If you read four minutes a page, I personally. One minute, one minute and a half. So this is really exaggerated. 40 hours. You will finish one khatam. How many hours we have left? 120. So that means you can finish the Quran three times in Ramadan. Proven shown, guaranteed. Show me where is my mistake, Yahabibi? Two times. I'm gonna go with you another hundred hours of Salah. Okay, two times. No, look, wallahi, look. We gave eight hours work, we gave eight hours sleeping, that's 16 hours. We gave two hours of taraweeh, we gave two hours of eating and drinking. Two hours. And with all that and four minutes a page that shows you that you can finish it three times. Who's ready to finish it once? Raise your hand, say inshaallah. Yaaki, this is a blessed night. Inshaallah. I will finish it once. I'm gonna make a promise. Inshaallah. Ya Allah, help me. Three times. I'm gonna try to finish it three times, you know. I know brother, but don't do this. Like as seen on tv, don't do this. Don't try this at home. This brother, he has the phone on his. On the phone. The one that carries the phone in the in the car, right? Every traffic light wallahi in the ladina he every traffic light he finishes a page he wants khalas. This is my last Ramadan. This is my last Ramadan. So please Yaquan, make the intention. Allah will help you. Put the effort. Put the effort. Like when I'm sitting in from Fajr to Shuruk, that's an hour at least 1 hour at least 2 Jizoo at least Sah. So make shoot aim that I am going. Don't say oh, I'm going to finish 12 reading. No, no, no. I'm going to aim for the whole Quran inshaallah. Maybe I will get 20 juzu, 25. But I'm aiming for 1, 2, 3. Why the guy who's doing 3 is better than me? He's not better than me. I want to beat him to Jannah. This is the mentality we should have this Ramadan. Now you break your fast, you come to Isha and you do the taraweeh and the Masjid Rasoolah. Sallallahu alaihi wasallam said whomsoever pray with the imam till they leave, all his sins are forgiven till the Imam leaves. Alhamdulillah, in our masjid we have two imams. One imam leaves after eight, you're good, you can leave. And one imam leaves after 20. May Allah bless all our imams. These are the two best times of the day in Ramadan. Very important times. Number one, before fajr and after Suhoor. Let's say Fajr is at 6, 10. Okay? At 6:05 I finished my suhoor. Some of us, they keep eating till 6:09, 58 or 59. Yalloh Yahabib, where are you going? What are you doing? Allah, you know, I know many, many people that they do the suhoor just to get the baraka. They don't want to eat suhoor, just drink a little bit of water. Because Rasulullah said in the Sahuri barakah and some people. I'm not saying it's haram to eat. No, no, eat yaakhi. Whatever it takes to keep you going Bismillah. But I mean sometimes eating too much will get you so hungry very soon. So istighfar at that time 06:05 till 06:10. Astaghfirullah. Astaghfirullah. Astaghfirullah. This is the best time for astagfar. You know, when you think about it, Yashaykh, I am in the third part of the night and I'm having suhoor and I just finished Tahajjud and I'm about to fast. What am I making istighfar for? What am I asking to be forgiven for what? All of the stuff I'm doing is amazing. Well do it because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he said and the best of people, they make istighfar at the time of Sahur. Allah. Just take a break. 1 minute yahi, not 5, 1 minute 6:09 to 6, 10 just to be from these people. And then before Iftar, second best time, one before Fajr, second best time, before Iftar, before you any Maghrib 6:30, that 6,27 yahi, stop everything and start making stuffar and make dua. A lot of dua. Because Rasulullah promised that the dua at that time is answered Mustajab, you are fasting and make a lot of dua for your children. A lot of dua for your children. Especially at that time. And this is I quoted I have. Whoever knows me knows that this is my favorite dua Subhanallah because it covers the present, the past and the future. Rabbi Auzani Walawali not my children, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren, my offsprings, my descendants, all of them. Ya Allah, fix them. This is another dua of Rasulullah. Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ya mukalib al kulub thabit kalbi aladdinik. We all need this dua Dire need for this dua. Many people are leaving. Many people are getting so weak in their deen. Many people are having doubts. The worst thing that you could ever die is having dying with doubt in your heart about the deen. You could die with cancer, die with car accident, die drowning, die in a fire, whatever could be even a shaheed but to die with doubt. The true believers are the one who believe in Allah and his messenger and they never have any doubt. Ya Allah, we beg you with the best of your names to forgive everybody who attended tonight and everyone who's watching us. Ya Allah, we beg you with the best of your names to make our last deeds, our best deeds and our last words. Ya Allah, protect our children. Ya Allah, protect them from the evil company. Ya Allah, protect them from the kaba'il. Ya Allah, protect them from the major sins. Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Surround them with the righteous company. Ya Allah, surround them with righteous company. Ya Allah, fill all our homes with love and mercy and tranquility and peace. Ya Allah, keep the shayateen of a human and the shayateen of Jinn away from our homes. Ya Allah. Keep the evil eyes away from us. Ya Rabbulameen Wasallah al Nabeena Muhammad.

Release Date: February 16, 2025
In this enlightening episode of Digital Islamic Reminder, Ustadh Bajaaour delves deep into the spiritual preparation required for Ramadhan, emphasizing repentance, forgiveness, and an intensified relationship with the Quran. The focus is on maximizing the blessings of Ramadhan by setting ambitious yet achievable spiritual goals.
The episode opens with Ustadh Bajaaour highlighting the importance of the night of the 15th of Shaban, a time often overshadowed by Ramadhan yet profoundly significant in Islamic tradition.
[00:00] "Tonight is one of the biggest nights of the year. Tonight is the night of the 15th of Shaban."
— Ustadh Bajaaour
He explains that this night is marked by immense opportunities for forgiveness and spiritual renewal, setting the stage for the upcoming holy month.
Ustadh Bajaaour shares a powerful hadith which states that Allah will forgive all Muslims on this night except for two categories of people: the Mushrik (those who associate partners with Allah) and the Mushahin (those who harbor grudges against their Muslim brethren).
[05:30] "Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam told us that Allah Azzawajal will forgive all Muslims except two: a Mushrik and a Mushahin."
He stresses that holding onto petty grievances can nullify the vast mercy available, urging listeners to forgive and seek reconciliation with others.
Delving deeper into the concept of Mushahin, Ustadh Bajaaour describes individuals who have unresolved conflicts with their Muslim siblings, sometimes lasting years over trivial matters.
[07:15] "If you hold onto something trivial, even as minor as $500 a cousin owes you, you risk being among those not forgiven."
He emphasizes that personal grudges, no matter how insignificant, can sever one’s eligibility for divine forgiveness, urging immediate reconciliation.
Transitioning to the core theme of preparation for Ramadhan, Ustadh Bajaaour underscores the necessity of sincere repentance to cleanse the heart.
[22:45] "Tawbah is essential to cleanse the heart and ensure that our Ramadan is spiritually fruitful."
He advocates for continuous repentance, highlighting the Prophet’s practice of making istighfar and tawbah numerous times a day.
Planning is pivotal for a successful Ramadhan. Ustadh Bajaaour advises listeners to create a structured schedule to ensure they maximize their worship and avoid distractions.
[35:20] "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail. Have a schedule for Ramadan to ensure you fulfill your spiritual goals."
He provides practical tips on allocating time for prayer, reading the Quran, and engaging in supplications, ensuring a balanced and productive month.
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to fostering a deeper connection with the Quran. Ustadh Bajaaour motivates listeners to set ambitious targets, such as finishing the Quran multiple times during Ramadhan.
[55:10] "This year, aim to read the Quran twice or even three times during Ramadhan. With proper planning, it's entirely achievable."
He breaks down the time calculations, demonstrating that with dedication, finishing the Quran three times is within reach.
Ustadh Bajaaour emphasizes the importance of niyyah (intention) in everyday actions, encouraging listeners to infuse their daily tasks with spiritual purpose.
[1:10:45] "Whether you are cooking, cleaning, or working, make the intention that you are doing it to please Allah. This transforms mundane actions into acts of worship."
He provides examples, such as intending to feed fasting individuals while cooking, thereby multiplying the rewards of simple tasks.
Highlighting the power of dua, Ustadh Bajaaour advises leveraging specific times for supplications, particularly before Fajr and before Iftar, when duas are most likely to be answered.
[1:40:30] "Make dua abundantly before Fajr and before Iftar. These are times when Allah is most receptive to our prayers."
He shares personal favorite duas that encompass past, present, and future, encouraging listeners to adopt them for comprehensive spiritual benefits.
Wrapping up the episode, Ustadh Bajaaour reiterates the importance of entering Ramadhan with a clean heart, structured plans, and a renewed commitment to the Quran and supplications.
[2:00:00] "May Allah forgive us all and help us enter Ramadhan transformed, seeking His pleasure in every action."

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah
