Tracy Andresen
Well, when we put that in somewhere that's an erogenous zone like the clitoris or the G spot, we're able to get better sensation, better blood flow, better libido needle. So we have women that come in to restore sexual function. It's incredible. Very popular procedure. Very, very safe. Scary for people when they hear about a needle going anywhere near there. But yeah, we have dialed it in.
Haley Elder
Yeah, it's incredibly comfortable.
Podcast Host
All right, guys, we got Tracy and Haley here from Rise Rejuvenation center, and you guys are killing it. So thanks for coming on, taking the time today.
Tracy Andresen
Thanks for having us.
Podcast Host
Absolutely. We were just talking about some fun topics before this. Yeah, stem cells is a big one these days, right?
Tracy Andresen
Stem cells is major. I think the biggest thing about stem cells that has been big for us is that a lot of people still think that the only place to get stem cells is out of the US but we offer them and love them, and it's like futuristic medicine. It's fantastic.
Podcast Host
Is that your top selling service right now?
Tracy Andresen
No, it's kind of been like our secret menu.
Haley Elder
Secret menu item.
Tracy Andresen
You know, there's a lot of regulations on stem cells that makes, I think most pretty practitioners kind of weary about marketing and just offering them in general, widespread and being loud about it. But Utah specifically has some interesting regulations about it. They released a statute in May that allowed placental stem cells to be utilized basically unbarred and FDA unapproved. So it's kind of interesting. Kind of a dicey topic, I'd say. But what's incredible is that we have access to it in the United States. The pricing is so much better, the efficacy and the stem cells that we get. Are incredible quality. So it's just nice to have that.
Podcast Host
What makes placental stem cells so special?
Tracy Andresen
Well, specifically in Utah, we can only use placental stem cells. The great benefit of placental stem cells is the amount of testing that goes in the ones we have. Specifically, Utah's kind of a special place.
Haley Elder
A little different.
Tracy Andresen
We have a lot of healthy young moms having babies, so they're only taking them from planned C sections, so there's none of the stress hormones that are circulating around. And these women are at least from the stem cells that we use in our clinic. Again, the regulations are kind of nuts. So not all are created equal, but the ones we use, they go back three generations. For these women, for hereditary things, they have no drug or alcohol use. This is pre Covid. It's. There's no third party. So the people we get it from are the people who have relationships with the ob gyn. So the quality and by viability of the stem cells that we use are, like, top notch.
Podcast Host
Got it. Got it.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
You guys said earlier, Utah is a special place. I want to talk about the beauty standards here because, like, the woman really care about that.
Haley Elder
Incredibly high. They're incredibly high.
Tracy Andresen
It's difficult to hit. Yeah. Yeah.
Haley Elder
It's difficult to hit, Difficult to maintain. And I think that's where people kind of fall down a slippery slope of trying to maintain a certain ideal.
Tracy Andresen
Oh, for sure.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Tracy Andresen
I don't know what it is. She came from Nebraska.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Haley Elder
And I always joke that, like, I'm a Nebraska 10 now. I'm like, a Utah 7, you know, so it's still, like, I'm not quite hitting it.
Tracy Andresen
Yes. Yeah.
Podcast Host
I wonder what makes it so high here. Because you hear that about Miami.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Podcast Host
You know, because of the Latina woman. So everyone wants to get the surgeries on their bodies to match their.
Tracy Andresen
Their physique. Yeah.
Podcast Host
Yeah. So I wonder what it is about Utah.
Tracy Andresen
I think our culture really sets a high standard for women to, like, present.
Haley Elder
Themselves well in every aspect of life. Not even just looks like the house, the car, the family. Like, you've got a happy marriage.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Right.
Haley Elder
Everything is, like, keeping up with the Joneses a little bit of, like, oh, I want to be better than my neighbor, you know?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. As great as it is to have so many beautiful people, it's also super toxic, you know, because people have this bar that feels unreachable, and everyone's faking it, really. But that's one thing we love about why and why rise started the med spa portion of our business. Was to kind of rewrite that in Utah and allow people to have a space where it doesn't feel like they're coming in and trying to hit a societal standard more just trying to hit their best and feel good and feel empowered and uplifted and not feel like.
Haley Elder
Like you have to change everything about yourself to look like exactly like the person next to you.
Tracy Andresen
Yes. And people in Utah, the women are starting to look the same, starting to look similar. Everyone's blonde, everyone's got the high achie cheeks, the thinny chin, the big lips.
Haley Elder
And now everyone's really skinny.
Podcast Host
Well, that's the peptide, right?
Tracy Andresen
Yes, for sure.
Haley Elder
Which is also amazing and is groundbreaking. So we love it.
Tracy Andresen
We love it. And there are still a lot of level headed people in Utah, which is definitely the clientele we attract. We have people that are owning their uniqueness and promoting their health. And yeah, we offer weight loss program. We have a ton of regenerative and restorative programs. I just feel like we have to do it ethically and not. I mean it's like social media. Utah's like a little microcosm of what we see being promoted for women to hit a certain mark. And we just want to do it differently. When you see influencers promoting a bunch of services, we want to do it right. We have a big ambassador program. Most of our business is built off social media. And so we love our ambassadors to be kind of like our billboards. Like they look normal, they talk about it naturally, they don't, they don't have unhealthy relationships with their body or food. Like those types of things are important to us so.
Podcast Host
Super important. Yeah. Because you could take it too extreme, Right. Some woman get too skinny.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, well. And we have the responsibility, honestly of being the providers in that space to not create that, you know, people are coming in and trusting us.
Haley Elder
Create a complex within someone about how they look or you know, the amount.
Tracy Andresen
Of times we've had people come in for consultations that are like, wow, this was totally different. I went to a consultation once and realized I had a crooked nose, a recessed chin, I needed lip filler, like I looked tired, I had eye bags. It's like, oh damn.
Haley Elder
Yeah, it's like, well, I just wanted my Botox and now I need like $30,000 of surgery.
Tracy Andresen
I just had a zit. It was all.
Podcast Host
But yeah, because these surgeries add up, right? They get expensive.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, it does. And I think it's just, it's just too much. Honestly. I think people look better like Less is more. I think you get it too far. And now you're just. We always say it is good to look. I would rather look old than odd. Good to look normal.
Podcast Host
And you were talking earlier about dissolving. So now these women are getting so many procedures, they need to dissolve what is in their face, right?
Tracy Andresen
Yes, yes. Unfortunately, we see a lot of it. We have ultrasound technology in our office to handle big dissolving cases, so we can actually see where the filler is. But it is traditionally known as pillow face. Yeah. People take it a little too far, and they just look odd. And everyone thinks that's what filler is. That's not what filler is. That's what, like, unethical med squads, they're, like, overfilling women because they'll pay for it, you know, or taking advantage of insecurities or body dysmorphia. And then they come to us to get dissolved. And it's so sad, but it is an incredible thing to do for them.
Haley Elder
Yeah. We always say the. The filler that you see is bad filler. Like, filler should be undetectable. It should enhance your features. It should never be like, yeah, oh, that's.
Tracy Andresen
You know, you can touch. Holy shit.
Haley Elder
Your lips are coming into the room before you are. Like, that is bad filler.
Podcast Host
The lips one is wild.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, I know.
Podcast Host
I don't know how people are personally attracted to that.
Tracy Andresen
I don't get it. We do get.
Haley Elder
Not your thing.
Podcast Host
Not my thing.
Tracy Andresen
No, no. We do get the occasional. Like I said, we don't really attract that, which is really nice, but we get the occasional person with really big, overdone lips, and they're in there. I'm like, please, God, don't tell me you want lips. And they're like, I'm here for lips today. I'm like, yeah. So what we're gonna do is switch it up. We're actually gonna dissolve everything.
Haley Elder
And most people are open to receiving that and hearing that, because I feel like people don't realize once you start down that process, you kind of lose sight of normal. When you have someone who's willing and open to bring you back down to reality and give you, like, a hard truth, it's like, oh, okay, yeah, let me. You're right.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. And let me reel it in. Not just see the patient as a dollar sign, because a lot of offices will do that, because, like, shit, okay, I want to pay for it. You might go down the street and get it all. Just do it. And I'd rather make no Money and feel like sleep at night and feel good about what I'm doing and not misleading people. And sometimes people take it well, and sometimes they're like, what the hell? Yeah, I'm giving. I want lips.
Haley Elder
I'm like, not.
Tracy Andresen
Maybe lip gloss, maybe a lip plumper. Yeah.
Podcast Host
I don't even know what that is.
Tracy Andresen
It's a whole world, isn't it?
Podcast Host
Yeah, it's fascinating. Oh, shots. That's a whole nother perspective I just learned about today.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. Oh, yeah. This is new to you? Yeah. O shots are incredible.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Tracy Andresen
O shots are for women sexual function. And it scares everyone when we start talking about that. But what we do is we draw their blood and we are pulling out platelet rich fibrin, which has tons of growth factors. Kind of the same reason you'd want stem cells and exosomes. You want O shot for all of those little building blocks that go in and restore tissue. Well, when we put that in somewhere that's an erogenous zone like the clitoris or the G spot, we're able to get better sensation, better blood flow, better libido. So we have women that come in to restore sexual function. It's incredible. Very popular procedure. Very, very safe. Scary for people when they hear about a needle going anywhere near there. But we have dialed it in. Yeah.
Haley Elder
It's incredibly comfortable. Rel. Painless procedure.
Podcast Host
And there's another one for guys, too.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, the pea shot.
Podcast Host
Good old peashot.
Haley Elder
That one's been on the rise. I feel like that's the buzzword.
Podcast Host
That was smooth.
Tracy Andresen
That was smooth. Yeah, it has been on.
Haley Elder
It's. It's on the rise. The buzzword is pea shot. I feel like everyone's just started talking about pea shots.
Tracy Andresen
Everyone wants a super dick. What can I say? It's true.
Haley Elder
It's true.
Tracy Andresen
They hear about it and they're like, sign me up. It works the same way, except usually men are looking for it for increased sensitivity, girth, length, performance, and they see it.
Podcast Host
Wow.
Tracy Andresen
Products work great. We love using exosomes for that too. It's incredible. And very niche. Not a lot of people are willing to do so. It's a very intimate procedure, obviously, but we always say it's only weird if you make it weird. Yep.
Podcast Host
It sounds like there's good benefits to it as a guy, you know?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, totally.
Podcast Host
And every guy I've talked to that's gotten. I've talked to a few guys, they speak very highly of it.
Tracy Andresen
Rave reviews. Yeah. We have yet to have a man that doesn't like, return For a treatment. It's just good. And honestly, people always wonder who's a candidate. And I feel like the biggest hang up is people don't want to admit that they're not sexually optimized. No one wants to say, well, my erections are not as hard as they could be or whatever.
Haley Elder
No one wants to say, oh, yeah, I could use some improvement.
Podcast Host
It's an ego thing for sure.
Tracy Andresen
It's an ego thing for sure.
Haley Elder
Yeah, yeah.
Tracy Andresen
So I always say, well, you can always take your baseline up, but the reality is like, as we age, that just happens. Blood flow is lessened and your performance is lessened and you don't know what you're missing until you get it back. I think that's the most popular thing. People are like, damn right.
Podcast Host
Because you get used to your current status. Yeah.
Tracy Andresen
It's your new normal.
Haley Elder
What about the teenagers in the back of the car again?
Tracy Andresen
Wow.
Haley Elder
They're like really into it.
Tracy Andresen
We've called it the couch breaker.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Damn. How often do you have to go.
Tracy Andresen
There's variability, of course. There's some people that are like, they need to do a couple treatments, but there are some after one that are like, hot damn, I'm telling all my friends about this.
Podcast Host
That's impressive. Wow. How often do you have to get it? Once you get it the first time.
Tracy Andresen
We do a series of three, typically, unless somebody has really severe symptoms, like once a month times three. And then after that you get it like once every six to 12 months just to keep up on it.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Tracy Andresen
Maintain.
Podcast Host
Not bad at all. What about the P long? What's that one about the P long?
Tracy Andresen
Okay. This is new to us as well.
Haley Elder
Yes.
Tracy Andresen
And not something we offer, but it is fascinating. Kayleigh, why don't you.
Haley Elder
Well, I just barely stumbled upon the P long recently. And it's something like, I don't know if I'm happy about, you know, it's. It's new information.
Tracy Andresen
We're going to let it resonate. Yeah.
Haley Elder
We're sitting with it. But the P long is basically like they inject, like basically prf, but they involve a traction system and a penis pump as well that you do during the night. And the studies are showing that it's like an inch in length is gained.
Podcast Host
Wow.
Haley Elder
A half inch in girth. So.
Podcast Host
Holy crap.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
So why are you guys on the fence about that? That sounds amazing.
Tracy Andresen
You know, the traction is sounding barbaric.
Haley Elder
The traction is sounding like a lot. You also have to do the penis pump during the night. Like you have to have multiple Erections in the night to see the results. So I don't know, I feel like the P shot and other modalities might be just as good without needing a traction system.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. The pump we're all on board for, we recommend that those actually work. Yeah. Well, especially when you're doing injections like this, because what you want is to get the exosomes spread so when you can plump everything up and open the blood flow, you have better. She's so immature.
Haley Elder
The word plump threw me off. Sorry.
Podcast Host
Yeah, I used to see ads for like, those pumps, but I always thought it was like bs, honestly, you know?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. I don't think you need to be using it around the clock every day, but when you're in a series of doing these P shots, I recommend it. The traction, I think we need to sit with that.
Haley Elder
Yeah, the traction's a lot to think about.
Tracy Andresen
We always say, like, listen, if we're going that hard, we're feeling that desperate for length, maybe we ought to focus on being more performance based. No motion of the ocean. Yeah.
Haley Elder
Get some new work.
Tracy Andresen
Get some new, you know, new moves. New.
Podcast Host
Yeah. That's more important, right?
Haley Elder
That's exactly.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. I think the world knows that now.
Podcast Host
Yeah, I think so too. Well, you guys just had the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives come through, right?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. That was so fun. Yeah.
Haley Elder
That show came out in September, so we filmed with them earlier in the year and didn't know if we were going to be on it or anything. And then ended up taking off with this laughing gas controversy that we put.
Podcast Host
A little too much laughing gas.
Tracy Andresen
They got a little wild, you know, the controversy. Well, first of all, it all started because a bunch of those women that are on the show, the ambassador program I was telling you about, they've been on our ambassador program. They're great billboards, stunning women, amazing. And then they came and filmed on site to get Botox and laughing gas, which we offer laughing gas in our practice. It's totally elective, just like Botox is. Yeah. And the craze that it brought of people saying, like, oh, you won't drink alcohol, but you'll go get high for Botox was insane. Because the whole show is fun about, you know, kind of the culture of that. Yeah.
Haley Elder
And about the double standard of Mormonism and all the things.
Tracy Andresen
But there were people on TikTok saying, this nurse practitioner needs to lose her license. She's giving people laughing gas unnecessarily. I'm like, and in which world is laughing gas necessary? Wow. You know, but it blew up.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Damn.
Haley Elder
People were not pleased, but, like. But I don't care.
Tracy Andresen
There were also a lot of people who were pleased and they're like, why is my Botox girl not giving me laughing out? You know, so you can't win them all, but. Yeah, but that's definitely caused some controversy. We did some dissolving on one of the girls that has been interesting to see. And she's so stunning. So stunning.
Podcast Host
Well, you know what they say, all PR is good pr, so.
Tracy Andresen
Exactly.
Podcast Host
You could probably turn it into a win.
Haley Elder
I've always said that.
Tracy Andresen
And that's what we're doing.
Podcast Host
I mean, you're number two in the country in plastic surgery. Surgery, right?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. Utah Salt Lake is. Yeah, that's impressive. Not crazy.
Podcast Host
Yeah. Especially with your ethics, because you're not just giving it to everyone like, you said. So. Yeah, that's impressive. Was that because of the show or were you blowing up before that?
Haley Elder
I. I feel like it was before.
Tracy Andresen
Totally.
Haley Elder
Like, I feel like we just have a different, like, you know. Yeah, it's like, different than most med spas. So I feel like people gravitate towards that, the authenticity, the.
Tracy Andresen
The laid back vibe. The interesting thing in Utah, too, that there's this status people want to achieve status, kind of like keeping up with the Joneses. And we just have completely eliminated that from our space. So you don't walk in like, oh, my God, I should be dressed a certain way or I should spend a certain amount of money to be here, or I should know a certain amount of things. Like, it's laid back. And I think that's what attracted, like, has attracted people to us and why we've been so successful. I think people don't know that that's what they wanted. You know, they're like, yeah, just kind of doing what the med spa space was creating.
Haley Elder
And we're also incredibly open. Like, I feel like most med spa spaces are not open to talking about whatever and being, like, really, you know, personable. It's always very, look a certain way, act a certain way, and we don't do that. We're shameless in every sense of the word.
Tracy Andresen
Very authentic. Yes, Shameless.
Haley Elder
And so I feel like that really brings down people's barriers totally. And then they can fully open up to us.
Tracy Andresen
More relatable. Like, all of our clients are like, die hards. They're like, good friends. You know, they get in. There's a camaraderie. Like, it's not transactional at Rise. It's very, like, relationship focused. And Ethical and just fun, laid back vibes. Yeah.
Podcast Host
That's cool, though. You guys are authentic. I think people want that these days. I remember going to my doctor for physicals. I didn't want to tell them anything, especially about my sexual life.
Tracy Andresen
I know.
Podcast Host
Psych.
Tracy Andresen
Embarrassment. It's very personal to break that down. To like, walk in and feel like I know nothing about these people and I'm gonna go tell them about my sex life is so vulnerable. So when you can lead with a really laid back, open mind, people are just like. They gravitate towards it.
Podcast Host
Yeah. People trust you guys. They're getting labia surgeries.
Tracy Andresen
Yes. Yeah. We refer people out for that. That was Utah's number one rising surgical trend was labiaplasty, which. Do you know what labiaplasty is?
Podcast Host
You basically. I don't know, to be honest.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
You should explain it.
Tracy Andresen
Just to do a little. So just a little snip snap downstairs for women. But it's. It helps women who have excess labial tissue who want things to look better tighter. So it's interesting like that Utah was. But you think about all the young moms we have and the high standards we have. It kind of. It adds up.
Haley Elder
It's all adding up.
Tracy Andresen
It's all adding up.
Haley Elder
Mommy makeovers or mommy takeovers, as they call them now, you know, Very popular. Everything is very popular here.
Podcast Host
Another term I just found out. Pleasure. Playoffs.
Tracy Andresen
Oh, yeah. So that's.
Podcast Host
What's that about?
Haley Elder
So that is a term that we created. We have a podcast, and one of the things that we talk about is women's health and all.
Tracy Andresen
Intimate health.
Haley Elder
Intimate health. Yeah. And so we decided to do a March Madness style bracket of vibrators.
Podcast Host
Oh, wow.
Haley Elder
And rate them 1 through 10 based on a number of criteria.
Tracy Andresen
We had a fully objective.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Podcast Host
How are you objective?
Tracy Andresen
So we would rate, like, battery life.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Tracy Andresen
The aesthetic. Yeah. Noise level. Portability.
Haley Elder
Ease of use.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Cuteness.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Like, is it cute? Is it ugly? Does it look like a penis?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Like, I don't know if I want to be toting around, like, something.
Tracy Andresen
If the TSA unzips this shit and you have to present it and how do we feel? Is it a 10? Where you're like, that is a beauty blender.
Haley Elder
Like, I could justify that all day long. Or does it look like a dildo?
Tracy Andresen
You know? Yes.
Haley Elder
So that's what we kind of rated it on. And then we took. What was it, like, 10, 8, 10.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Different. Different styles, different types from all different.
Tracy Andresen
Companies people voted on.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Haley Elder
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Oh, people voted on, like, we were.
Tracy Andresen
Getting people to give us recommendations. So many. And then we took those eight. Did research. Very diligent research.
Haley Elder
We, you know, we took one for the team. We did a lot of work. To the ladies, and you're welcome.
Podcast Host
And who ended up winning?
Tracy Andresen
What ended up winning was the Lilo Ida wave.
Haley Elder
The lilo Ida wave.
Podcast Host
Got it.
Tracy Andresen
Which plug? To them, it's still a winner.
Haley Elder
It's fantastic.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
And it doesn't look like a penis.
Podcast Host
So that's a benefit.
Tracy Andresen
The GSA finds it, like, no big deal. Yeah.
Haley Elder
Or, like, if it's hanging out in your room and you have, like, people over and they see it, it's like, oh, my God.
Tracy Andresen
You know?
Haley Elder
But this one is very discreet. Could be anything.
Podcast Host
You might have to start selling those out the center.
Tracy Andresen
I know.
Haley Elder
We did a collab with them, so we had a code for a while. Maybe they would, you know.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Like us to less shame.
Tracy Andresen
We recommend it. We send the link to every patient. Yeah.
Podcast Host
I love it. Are you gonna do it with other sexual products now, too?
Tracy Andresen
You know, we've talked about it. Yeah.
Podcast Host
I don't know what else. There is another.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
I mean, there's a lot of stuff. I feel like there's a lot of options.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Lubes.
Podcast Host
I'm not a fan of lube.
Tracy Andresen
Really?
Podcast Host
You guys are like, well, why aren't.
Tracy Andresen
You a fan of lube?
Haley Elder
What's the hold up with the lube?
Podcast Host
I just don't use it. What do you mean?
Tracy Andresen
He doesn't need it.
Haley Elder
Doesn't need it.
Podcast Host
Like, I feel like if you're good and you're, like, in the moment, you don't need it.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
I feel like. Yes. But also some. There are some lubes that enhance.
Podcast Host
Okay.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
And when you're using products like vibrators, sometimes you need a little lube.
Tracy Andresen
Right. You know, for the solo business. Yeah.
Haley Elder
Otherwise it's got too much friction.
Podcast Host
Yeah. I just. A lot of them, like, aren't, like, natural products, so I'm not a fan of that.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. Yeah. Our favorite is coconut. It's all natural. Like, it's edible.
Podcast Host
Oh, wow. It's edible.
Tracy Andresen
That's the one we sell in our clinic. Yeah.
Haley Elder
And they're local. Yeah, They're a local company.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. Really cool.
Podcast Host
Shout out to them. But I've changed my mind. I might have to try that one out.
Tracy Andresen
I'll grab you one. We'll rate it. We'll let you know.
Podcast Host
All right. What do you guys think of Brian Johnson?
Tracy Andresen
Oh, my gosh. We Just watched that.
Haley Elder
We have so many. We disagree. So we have, don't we?
Tracy Andresen
I don't know.
Haley Elder
We disagree because Tracy thinks that he's fantastic and like doing all this, you know, amazing research. And I don't disagree with that. I think he's. I think he's great and doing a lot of, you know, good for the community. But also I feel like at some point I'm like, you're just an entrepreneur. Like the fact that he's selling olive oil to these people and it probably.
Tracy Andresen
Doesn'T do anything, you know, actually his.
Podcast Host
Has been thoroughly tested. I'm a consumer of it.
Haley Elder
Do you like it?
Podcast Host
I like it. But so he publishes the third party results of all his products. So a lot of olive oil has seed oils in it, the ones you see in the grocery stores, like poor quality seed oils. But his is really high quality, so I'll vouch for him on that.
Haley Elder
Do you feel like it's bringing longevity into your life?
Podcast Host
I think it's a healthier olive oil compared most. Yeah. So if you're new to that regard.
Tracy Andresen
Yes. So when we watched the documentary, this is the part where we started disagreeing because I think we agree on the fact that like that's the amount of education that's coming from what he's doing is fantastic and he's basically being a guinea pig on everyone's so got to give it to him. But we started disagreeing on the business side and I thought like, well, if I was like putting my body through that and then giving everyone this information, I would want to monetize that. Like my time is worth something. And all this research that he's doing is worth something. But yeah, we were like, yeah, I also struggle with.
Haley Elder
I think it's great that he's doing all the research, but it's in such a controlled environment, like something that cannot be recreated by the average person. So it's almost like, is there really as much benefit to that being in such a controlled, calculated way that a normal person could not recreate?
Podcast Host
I could see that. Yeah. Because he sleeps at the same time every day, eats the same thing every day.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
I think the information and research is valuable, but probably not to the extent that we think it is.
Tracy Andresen
Well, you know what I think though, about longevity, the biohacking world, A lot of people just wanna hop on and do the easy stuff. And I think all of that will do very little for someone who doesn't do the basics. Start with diet and exercise and look for what's going to kill you. First, if you have a history of heart disease or you have pre diabetes or something, get that in line, get your diet and exercise in line, and then you can start doing things like exosomes and peptides and all these other helpful tools. But I think society is getting really enamored by the idea of like, oh, I can just take this and it gives me health. Like, well, magic. Yeah. Maybe if you, like optimized your body, then it will do a lot of good for you. But like exosomes, for example, we do exosomes for wellness and regenerative med rise. And we have people who come in to do it for an actual ailment or an injury. Right. So they want repair, whether they have like a torn mcl or whatever it is, or Crohn's disease, different systemic things. Or we have people who just want it for regenerative medicine and health benefits. And the people who want it for health benefits, I always make sure to have an interview with them and say, what are you doing right now? What's your lifestyle right now? Are you getting enough sleep? The basics. What's your environment? What's your stress? Your daily stress? I think his results are going to be a lot better than somebody who's like sedentary. High stress. Yeah, like the American pitfall. Right. They're not going to be able to like take olive oil and then your whole life is transformed. Right.
Podcast Host
Yeah. I do agree, though. He does some crazy stuff.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, it's fascinating.
Haley Elder
I loved watching it, and I think it's crazy to. To witness, but I didn't see the.
Tracy Andresen
Show, but I felt like.
Podcast Host
No, I interviewed him before the show came out. I want to watch it. But yeah, I was aware of the blood transfusion and he mentioned that's where.
Haley Elder
He loses people, where it's like, oh, the blood boys. A little freaky, you know?
Podcast Host
Did they show that in the document?
Tracy Andresen
Yeah, where they.
Haley Elder
It was the. It was like the three generations.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
That's wild.
Tracy Andresen
It is wild.
Podcast Host
There is some new technology that. What's his name? Ben Greenfield. Do you know Ben? He's like a biohacker. But you put your blood in one tube, it filters out all the microtoxins, the microplastics, heavy metals, and then it goes back into your body.
Tracy Andresen
Yes, I've seen that.
Podcast Host
Blood transfusion or something like that. Yeah, that was interesting to me.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. Yeah, it's really cool.
Podcast Host
But I don't think I'd want someone else's blood in me.
Tracy Andresen
Right. I know. I can't. I don't I don't.
Podcast Host
Even if they were younger, like.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Haley Elder
Even if they were related to me, I'm like, no.
Podcast Host
Yeah.
Tracy Andresen
I know. It would take some. Yeah, yeah. To change my mind. Because right now I think there's so much available to have a healthy body and to biohack without doing that. Like, meh. Yeah.
Haley Elder
But I mean, he's going to the extremes and it's working for him.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah. And that's what makes it fascinating. Right. Like the fact that he's doing that.
Podcast Host
I think he's in that positive.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Overall.
Tracy Andresen
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Because I know he gets a lot of hate, but I think overall he's doing good for society.
Tracy Andresen
Well, people say he's like a cult leader. Yeah. And he was joking about it in the show. Like when he shows up to all these people, he's taking on a hike. He's like, all right, is everyone ready in the cult? You know, like, literally, even if this is a culture. Yeah. He's helping people live a healthy way out and about.
Haley Elder
It's just interesting about their health and wellness and stuff. So I think it's great.
Tracy Andresen
But when you get to that level, though, you're not going to please. Everyone's going to hate about what you're doing.
Haley Elder
So.

Digital Social Hour: Biohacking 101 – Revolutionary Treatments You Need to Try | Rise Rejuvenation Center DSH #1219
Release Date: March 5, 2025
Host: Sean Kelly
In the 1219th episode of Digital Social Hour, host Sean Kelly delves into the intriguing world of biohacking with Tracy Andresen and Haley Elder from Rise Rejuvenation Center. The conversation explores cutting-edge treatments, ethical considerations in the med spa industry, and the societal pressures influencing beauty standards, particularly in Utah. This episode provides a comprehensive overview of innovative biohacking treatments aimed at enhancing both physical health and sexual function.
Sean Kelly opens the discussion by highlighting the growing interest in stem cell therapies.
Tracy Andresen emphasizes the uniqueness of Rise Rejuvenation Center's approach to stem cells:
“Stem cells is major. I think the biggest thing about stem cells that has been big for us is that a lot of people still think that the only place to get stem cells is out of the US but we offer them and love them, and it's like futuristic medicine. It's fantastic.” (01:35)
The conversation reveals that Utah has specific regulations allowing the use of placental stem cells without FDA approval, positioning the state as a hub for advanced regenerative therapies. This regulatory environment enables Rise Rejuvenation Center to offer high-quality, affordable stem cell treatments sourced from healthy, young mothers undergoing planned C-sections.
“We have access to it in the United States. The pricing is so much better, the efficacy and the stem cells that we get. Are incredible quality. So it's just nice to have that.” (02:56)
A significant portion of the episode addresses the intense beauty standards prevalent in Utah. Haley Elder and Tracy Andresen discuss how societal expectations drive women to seek various cosmetic procedures to achieve an idealized appearance.
“Incredibly high. They're incredibly high. It's difficult to hit. Yeah. Yeah.” (03:41)
The hosts explain that the cultural environment in Utah fosters a "keeping up with the Joneses" mentality, pushing individuals to maintain not just physical beauty but also success in other life aspects, such as career and family.
“As great as it is to have so many beautiful people, it's also super toxic, you know, because people have this bar that feels unreachable, and everyone's faking it, really.” (04:38)
To counteract these pressures, Rise Rejuvenation Center aims to provide a space where clients can focus on personal wellness and empowerment rather than conforming to societal standards.
The episode delves into specialized treatments designed to enhance sexual function, namely O Shots for women and P Shots for men.
O Shots involve injecting platelet-rich fibrin derived from the patient's own blood into erogenous zones to improve sensation, blood flow, and libido.
“We're able to get better sensation, better blood flow, better libido needle. So we have women that come in to restore sexual function. It's incredible. Very popular procedure. Very, very safe.” (09:16)
P Shots serve a similar purpose for men, aiming to increase sensitivity, girth, length, and sexual performance.
“Everyone wants a super dick. What can I say? It's true.” (10:23)
The hosts highlight the confidentiality and efficacy of these treatments, noting strong client satisfaction and repeat business.
“We've had yet to have a man that doesn't like, return for a treatment. It's just good.” (10:56)
A recurring theme in the discussion is the ethical responsibility of med spa providers. Tracy Andresen emphasizes the importance of honesty and patient well-being over profit.
“I'd rather make no money and feel like sleep at night and feel good about what I'm doing and not misleading people.” (08:42)
The duo critiques practices that overfill clients with procedures, leading to unnatural and unsatisfactory results. They advocate for a "less is more" philosophy, prioritizing natural enhancements over extreme alterations.
“Like we always say, it is good to look. I would rather look old than odd. Good to look normal.” (07:07)
The conversation also touches on emerging treatments such as P Long, a procedure combining PRF injections with a traction system and penis pump, aiming to increase penile length and girth. However, Tracy and Haley express reservations about the practicality and invasiveness of the traction component.
“The traction is sounding barbaric.” (12:15)
They suggest focusing on performance-based improvements rather than solely on physical enhancements.
“If we're going that hard, we're feeling that desperate for length, maybe we ought to focus on being more performance based.” (13:55)
Sean Kelly and the guests discuss the impact of media appearances, such as their feature on "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives." While the show brought both positive attention and controversy—particularly around the use of laughing gas—the hosts remain committed to their ethical standards and community-focused approach.
“But you can't win them all, but that's definitely caused some controversy. We did some dissolving on one of the girls that has been interesting to see.” (15:19)
The episode concludes with a debate about influential figures in the biohacking community, specifically Brian Johnson and Ben Greenfield. Tracy praises Johnson's dedication to research and education but remains skeptical about the commercialization and accessibility of his methods.
“His information and research is valuable, but probably not to the extent that we think it is.” (23:27)
Haley echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of foundational health practices like diet and exercise over complex biohacking techniques.
“First, if you have a history of heart disease or you have pre diabetes or something, get that in line, get your diet and exercise in line, and then you can start doing things like exosomes and peptides and all these other helpful tools.” (24:58)
In the final segment, Tracy and Haley provide information on how listeners can engage with Rise Rejuvenation Center. They offer a discount for podcast listeners and promote their website and social media channels.
“We're gonna do $100 off. If you mention the podcast. Message us on Instagram or through the website.” (27:40)
They also introduce their in-house podcast, "The Spill at Rise," which covers a broad range of wellness topics.
Tracy Andresen on stem cells:
“Stem cells is major... it's like futuristic medicine. It's fantastic.” (01:35)
Haley Elder on beauty standards:
“Incredibly high. They're incredibly high." (03:41)
Tracy Andresen on ethical practices:
“I'd rather make no money and feel like sleep at night and feel good about what I'm doing and not misleading people.” (08:42)
Tracy Andresen on O Shots:
“We're able to get better sensation, better blood flow, better libido needle... Very, very safe.” (09:16)
Tracy Andresen on media influence:
“We can't win them all, but that's definitely caused some controversy.” (15:19)
