Jacob
Kind of went on this. This journey of trying to seek deliverance. And everywhere I kind of asked was like, what are you talking about, dude? Like, you're a Christian. You can't have a demon. First one I did ineffective deliverance, seeked another. I was like, no, I got to keep seeking another ineffective deliverance. Finally, I'm reading this book, Holy Spirit Led. It is one of the most true books I've ever read and the most impactful book of my life. This chick that wrote this book, Eleanor, is the only person that's going to be able to help me. If Eleanor cannot help me, no one can help me. And I don't have demons, and that's there. Sure enough, demons can't cash out of me left and right.
Sean
All right, guys, we got Jacob here from Arizona. Thanks for flying in today, man.
Jacob
Thank you for having me. Sean, this is amazing.
Sean
Yeah. And I know you're crushing it on a business and you're getting started with your social media journey, so this is good timing to get your message out.
Jacob
Yeah, seriously. I'm eternally grateful for you having me. And that was just like, the first question. I was curious, like, what made you me attracted to, like, be on the show?
Sean
So, yeah, I stumbled across your content and I felt like what you were providing on the videos was valuable. And we'll dive into that.
Jacob
Thank you. Dude.
Sean
What compelled you to start posting on social media?
Jacob
It first transpired when I was doing my music project, Triton, that was ended at like 2023. I was really posting a ton of content, like to drive traffic to my music. And then I determined it wasn't really a good fruit in my life. So then I kind of veered away from the music project and then started kind of coming back to Christ. And then I realized I looked at my social media page and I had nothing on there about Christ. And I was like, hmm, that was a big wake up call for me. So. Yeah.
Sean
So you wanted to make it in the music industry?
Jacob
Yeah, I was slowly making my way up. I got to about like 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. I got like 8,000 on Insta. And slowly was growing. Just determined it wasn't a good fruit. You can do music the right way. I just clearly wasn't. So then I turned and stopped from it.
Sean
So were you making Christian music?
Jacob
No, I was making really heavy, heavy electronic dance music.
Sean
Oh, really?
Jacob
A lot of dubstep side trance, which not all of it's bad. It's just you got to use a lot of discernment in that and I think over a long time, the Lord kind of showed me that the stuff I was making wasn't a good fruit in my life. So.
Sean
Yeah, because that's a totally different lifestyle than what you got now.
Jacob
Oh, yeah, yeah. And I do think you can go to music festivals, you can enjoy it, have a good time, and it's totally healthy in some areas, just not all so. Right. A lot of the music I was creating dealed with a lot of like, spirit of heaviness, anger, wrath, murder, all of this stuff. And yeah, it was later revealed to me down the road, but after I deleted it. But yeah, some heavy stuff. Heavy, heavy stuff. Yeah.
Sean
See, I knew those topics were present in hip hop and rap. I didn't know that infiltrated edm.
Jacob
It's every genre of music. So there's good stuff and there's bad stuff. So I think one of the things that really frustrated me in the beginning was a lot of people would be like, all electronic dance music is demonic and that's clearly not true. Like, that's. You got to use discernment and what is, what isn't. And so I don't know all the answers. I just know that mine wasn't a good fruit and it wasn't impacting the people that I wanted to have an impact.
Sean
Right.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
So I'm big on frequencies, so I actually, if I sense the music is kind of not a good frequency or demonic or whatever, I stop listening to. Yeah.
Jacob
And you've got that like almost like that sixth sense that's kind of whispering to you and you're like a gut feeling about it. It's just not it.
Sean
Well, most people aren't even aware of the frequency of the damage that certain music can do to your subconscious.
Jacob
Yeah, the ignorance is not good. Yeah, that's what I mean. That's what I was. I was ignorantly creating it and I was like, oh, I just looking back on it is so stupid.
Sean
Well, you didn't know at the time. It's. It's a lesson right now. You can reflect on it. Some people never reach that stage.
Jacob
Exactly. And I. I felt like I had to do some major repenting because like one. Not only was I making it too, I was Also then having 30,000 people listening to it as well too. And I was like, oh, gosh. Yeah, that was.
Sean
So when you say repenting, what does that process look like?
Jacob
Primarily like confession to the Lord, like acknowledging first that like, hey, that was wrong, and then asking for forgiveness and being sorry for it. And I do Think that you can have a personal confession with the Lord, which is really, really good, but also with your. Your brothers and sisters is good too.
Sean
So. Wow.
Jacob
Yeah, I got a nice. We call it Jesus Club. It's once a month. It's like a little roundtable that we do. We just meet, talk about the Lord, share, do life together, break bread. It's wonderful.
Sean
So you had to get vulnerable and confess to your fellow friends about it. And you were probably uncomfortable about it, right?
Jacob
Oh, man. Yeah, I broke down in tears, honestly. Yeah, I was so, like, I was. Yeah, I was really. I was broken by this for a long time. It took me a really long time. I stopped listening to, like, all music. I was like. I went super legalistic. I was like, all music is terrible. All music is demonic. This is terrible. But then I kind of cooled back from it after that. So it was like. At first I went super legalistic and then I kind of moved from there and I'm like, oh, okay.
Sean
Wow. Appreciate the honesty, man.
Jacob
Oh, of course. Yeah.
Sean
Yeah. I think a group of people around you is important. You guys meet up once a month. It's important to have people you could trust.
Jacob
Of course. We got the. So I got Jesus Club. That's a once a month thing. And then we have Happy hour. That's our weekly men's Bible study, which shout out to all my guys on there. I love you guys. And then just Daily devotion as well, too. But those are the two, like, kind of men's group that we got going on.
Sean
Nice. What's Daily Devotion?
Jacob
That's just. I use this term. It's called happy and happy out. So from Aqua Dots, it's happy and happy. I was checking in with the customer. It's creating that Aqua Dots experience, and it's really making everybody feel heard, valued, and appreciated and welcome into the space. And I kind of just take that same concept and principle and applied it to my relationship with Christ. And he just. He wants to check in with you in the morning. He wants to check out with you at night. Right. He created the whole cosmos. It's the least thing that you can do is spend some time when first thing you wake up and then when you go to bed as well.
Sean
Right. So that's like a prayer.
Jacob
Yeah, it could be prayer. It could be reading, it could be listening, prayer sitting, and just breathing. It could be just an acknowledgment, anything. So, yeah.
Sean
Nice. I love that. Yeah. I think it's important just to reflect because I was talking with the last guests. Such fast Paced lifestyles as an entrepreneur.
Jacob
Oh, yeah.
Sean
You sometimes just go through your day and just work all day. And then you could repeat that for weeks, for months.
Jacob
Exactly.
Sean
And not sit there with your thoughts ever.
Jacob
And I. I do think that he's the one that allows us to do all of this work, so it'd be a good thing to. For us to spend time with him. You know what I mean? So I just, like, I couldn't do it. I couldn't build my crazy schedule without him, so it's the least honoring thing I can do.
Sean
Absolutely. And I study a lot of successful people, and I notice that they spend hours either reading or reflecting.
Jacob
Mm.
Sean
It's not just work. 24 7.
Jacob
Exactly. Scheduled rest, scheduled recovery. Yeah. You got to put it on the calendar. It doesn't happen.
Sean
Yeah. But unfortunately, on social media, they promote this hustle culture of materialism. And working, you know, 18 hours a day, like, that's a cool thing. And a lot of people fall for that trap.
Jacob
Yeah. Working hard is really, really cool. But working smarter and harder is the best way to go. Go about it. And I do think, like, I mean, there's people out there that are working two hours a week, four hours a week, and their output is way more extreme and way farther than anyone could have ever IM. That's working 12 hours. So.
Sean
Tim Ferriss.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
For our work week, baby.
Jacob
Yeah. Yeah.
Sean
Classic Richard Branson, too. I feel like. You feel like he's chilling. He's not working as hard as he used to.
Jacob
It was just smarter work. That's all you got to do. So. Yeah. I do love those guys, though. They're. They're great.
Sean
Yeah. That's my goal down the road because I am, in all honesty, working 80 hours a week right now.
Jacob
Yeah, I do. That's epic, though. You're crushing it. Yeah. Dude, I see you cranking out all these episodes. It's cool.
Sean
Yeah. But my logic is I don't have kids yet. I don't have a family other than my fiance. So I want to put in that work now, build up some resources. That way, when I have kids, they're not stressed.
Jacob
Providing and protecting. That's amazing, dude.
Sean
And I've had. I think it's important to have these conversations with your significant other beforehand, make sure they're on the same page.
Jacob
Of course.
Sean
Because I see a lot of couples fighting, and I think that's lack of communication for the most part.
Jacob
Big time. Big time. How many kids you want?
Sean
I want at least two. Man.
Jacob
Two.
Sean
What about you?
Jacob
Oh, gosh I. I originally wanted three. That's where I started. And then I started was like, you know, I think back on times when we were at the cruise, we're on a cruise with my family, and, like, how fun it was with my older brother, my younger brother. And I was like, imagine if there was, like, five of us, you know, like. Right. And then I was like, okay, well, what if there were seven, yo? And I was like, okay, what about seven to 11, though? So that's where I'm sitting right now.
Sean
Seven to 11?
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
You got to start early then.
Jacob
Yeah. And I got to find a wife first. I got away for God to bring someone. So that's like.
Sean
How old are you?
Jacob
24.
Sean
24. Yeah. You could probably pull it off still. Yeah. If you find one in the next five years, I'd say it's doable, right?
Jacob
Inshallah. God willing. Yeah. We'll see.
Sean
I love that, man.
Jacob
Yeah. But, yeah, dude, when you get your kids, you got to bring them to Aqua Dots, though. Okay. No other show. All right. All right.
Sean
That was a smooth.
Jacob
I got to put it in there.
Sean
Yeah. We got to talk about the start of Aqua Tots, your swim schools. How did that get going?
Jacob
First job, family business. So it was, like, about to turn 16. 2000, end of 2015. 2016. Started as a swim instructor, and then kind of from there climbed the ranks. Right. Surrounded myself with good mentors, leadership. We called it Aqua Dots Master Water safety Instructor. So they helped train the other instructors as well, too. Assess, do all that fun things. Front desk train. And then I was assistant aquatic manager, aquatic manager, general manager, and then partnered with the right families to then get the first couple of locations, and now we have five.
Sean
So you had to work your way up.
Jacob
Yeah. So been about eight, nine years now.
Sean
So well done, man.
Jacob
Thanks. Yeah.
Sean
Why is it important for kids to be swimming at that age?
Jacob
Oh, my gosh. I mean, the younger you do, the better, because the neuroplasticity and the brain is so fluid, so they catch on a lot easier. Right. And they don't really build these, like, strongholds of fear around the water, and it's a lot easier to break it earlier on than later on. And, I mean, drowning is just such a. A painful. Painful thing to watch and happen in somebody's life. So that's why. I mean, I saw how impactful it was, and I just wanted to be, you know, helping impact the community. Saving drownings.
Sean
And you witness a drowning?
Jacob
Not actually witness, but this is coming up a lot sooner than I Thought I actually almost drowned saving someone in 2019.
Sean
Oh, wow.
Jacob
And that was a very traumatic experience. I was living over in Oman, Musket, which is right next to uae, right in Saudi Arabia, Yemen. And I, we were out and about. I was working at Aqua Tots, actually, over there. There's Aqua Tats in Muscat. And we had went out with all of the staff, all of our friends and everything like that to this place called Salalah. It's a very beautiful place. Like, seriously, a hidden gem oasis in the jungle or in the desert. You're just driving in the middle of nothingness, and then all of a sudden, you do these beautiful waterfalls, everything. It looks so good. We had a great time. We were all swimming, kind of. What's the word? Like, you're just kind of hiking through the waterfalls, swimming through the waterfalls. And one of our friends there, his name was Haschel, he wasn't the strongest swimmer. We determined that we were gonna take a picture up on the waterfall, and we were all sitting there standing. Everyone was gonna jump off the waterfall for a picture, except for Haschel. He was gonna just stay back. He was just going up there for the picture. Well, I don't know what it was. We all jumped off. Haschel decided he would like to also jump off as well, too. And I was like, oh, man. You know, like, at the time, I didn't see it. We all jumped off, kind of swam away. You know, the kind of water pushes you out the current. I popped up, and I looked around, and I was like. I heard all this commotion and screaming, and I was like, what the heck? And I turn around, and I see Hassle drowning. And I'm like, oh, my gosh. So instincts kick in, Kind of dive in, straight in, kind of swimming against the current. My friends Abdi and Nadam also jumped in as well, too.
Sean
Yeah.
Jacob
And we started swimming. I was the only one that broke through the current. And, yeah, so it was a. It was a very kind of. Yeah, it was very traumatic. I kind of went to go grab him, but I don't know if you know what drowning people do. When they are drowning, they're freaking out. So they are grabbing onto you. They're shoving you under the water, trying to save themselves. Right. So I kind of go up to him. We're getting pummeled by this waterfall, and I'm trying to help him, but he's just shoving me underwater. I'm like, okay, well, this isn't helpful. So I kind of get a big breath of air, swim under the water kind of just put my hands up because I don't know what else to do. And I'm kicking like crazy trying to hold him above the water. And. And yeah, then I started to start sucking in water because I'm like, I don't know how long I can do this for sucking in some water. I try to get up some more water or get up some more air. He shoves me down again. I'm like, okay, well, that's not. Obviously not the plan. Kind of get shoved, like, spit out on the backside of the waterfall. If I hold it like, this is the waterfall and like, this has a lip. We were kind of got stuck behind the waterfall, and now we're getting around, pushed around the other side. Finally got to reach up, grab onto a rock. Like, I think it was God saving me because I, like, was trying to reach and grab for stuff. I couldn't grab anything. And then I was like, this is it. I'm literally dying. Grabbed up, grabbed onto a rock. He grabbed onto my back instead of. Because he was trying to shut me down. But I. Since I was holding on, I was okay. Monkey walked all the way across. And then. Yeah, that was.
Sean
Oh, what a story, man.
Jacob
Yeah, that was one of my four near death experiences, so.
Sean
Four.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
Oh, my God.
Jacob
I was trying to save this. Or like, we can get into the podcast, but I guess we're going straight, straight into it right now, man.
Sean
We move quick on the show. I appreciate you sharing that story. You saved a life, though. That's. That's crazy.
Jacob
Love, Hashel. Great guy. And we. Yeah, I was just talking to my friend Nalam about this recently because it was. It was a crazy, crazy experience. And it was just even nuttier that, like, I almost drowned as a swim instructor. I was like, oh, gosh, that cannot be. Sorry, parents, I failed you.
Sean
So there's the importance right there. You were able to save a life being a good swimmer.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
I mean, that is massive. There's. There's a lot of people that don't know how to swim, so.
Jacob
Oh, my gosh. I was so shocked. The more that, like, I got into Aqua Tots, the more I found out. Like, I mean, my great grandma, she's 97, 98, she just turned, can't swim.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
So even in my own family, I.
Sean
Wonder what the percent is. It's got to be pretty high.
Jacob
It's got to be high. Yeah. Because I also, I think we have six adults doing swim lessons at our Paradise Valley location, so.
Sean
Damn. Yeah, there's a lot that's impressive, man. I've had four near death experiences too.
Jacob
Oh, the coincidence is crazy, dude. You got to tell me about some of yours.
Sean
One was a Xanax withdrawal.
Jacob
Okay.
Sean
So I was having a mental health problem at the time. Bad anxiety, bad depression. And the thing with Xanax is you can't just cut it off. You got a taper off. No one told me that. So when I cut it off completely, I think within a couple of days. Yeah. Seizure. Ambulance to the er.
Jacob
I'm sorry to hear that.
Sean
Was thinking about calling my parents. Goodbye. Like that was. That was a rough one. Second one. I used to sell candy in elementary school.
Jacob
Hustler since the start. Dude. Let's go, let's go.
Sean
So in Jersey, where I grew up, there's a store called Wegmans.
Jacob
Okay.
Sean
So I would walk there. It was like a mile or two.
Jacob
Sure.
Sean
And I would have to sneak out because I didn't want my parents knowing that I was doing that. I was ashamed. And I would sneak out at like 11pm So I came home one night, the front door, guns pointed at me.
Jacob
Oh my gosh.
Sean
From my dad.
Jacob
Oh.
Sean
He thought someone was breaking.
Jacob
It was just.
Sean
And my dad was like at the time dealing with some drug stuff.
Jacob
He was really.
Sean
He was hallucinating so he almost. He almost shot. His finger was on the trigger. So that was at like 10 years old.
Jacob
Got your hand on you, bro. Yeah, dude.
Sean
Crazy. What were some of yours though? Four is impressive at 24.
Jacob
I'm sorry dude. But that's kind of crazy though that we have both at the four. But yeah, I. Not that I can relate to. The Xanax withdraws. I just quit nicotine a hundred percent on Thursday at 4:30. And man, those withdrawals had me feeling like Smeagol from Lord of the Rings. I mean I was seriously was like, ah.
Sean
I actually heard nicotine's one of the hardest.
Jacob
Oh, dude. Rough, rough. Super rough. But nothing like this. An accident. I can't even imagine. So I'm happy.
Sean
Thank you, dude.
Jacob
Happy you're doing okay.
Sean
Yeah, yeah. Nicotine's no joke. I heard that's one of the toughest in the world. Based off studies.
Jacob
Never, never touching another cigarette. Another Zinn, another vape, another. I call them the Chinese air conditioning. Yeah. So never again. But yeah. No other near the near death experiences. 2016, I flipped a soft top convertible Mustang because I fell asleep driving at the wheel. Like, whoa. Idiot. Yeah. Sneaking out. Being a dummy. Hanging out with a girl where I shouldn't be. And Driving on the way home. Fell asleep driving. So both of us walked away without a scratch. Car was crumpled, completely fat. Really crazy. Yeah, no scratch, no scratch. I mean, I had, like, a seat belt burn, and that was about it.
Sean
That's God's work, right?
Jacob
Yeah. Just say, seriously. And I mean, in a convertible, too. I mean, these pictures. Do you want me to pull up a picture?
Sean
Yeah, we'll throw it on the screen. Just text me it. We'll throw it up.
Jacob
There's that. So, yeah, the. The Mustang falling asleep or. Yeah, falling asleep. Drowning. And then I also got hit by a red light. Runner. Crumpled again. The front. Whole front of my car.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
Walked away. Nothing. Let's see, what was the fourth one? Oh, yeah. And then the fourth one was super, super crazy. We were. We purchased. Me and my dad and I purchased the home across the street to do a rental property. And we were going over there, just doing some, like, work on the pool pumps and the pump. I don't know what happened. What exactly happened, but the pump where, like, kind of turns off so you can, like, backwash, and all that stuff broke. So then it. The handle turned and basically caused up a giant. I don't know, what do you say? Like, basically, it exploded. Okay. So actually. Actually, I take back what I said about the nicotine, because nicotine in this scenario actually saved me. This is crazy. Okay. Oh, my gosh. Full circle. So at the time now. Not anymore, though. Me and my dad were over there fixing the pumps, doing all the thing, backwashing the filters, all the fun stuff. And I was craving the nicotine, but didn't want to hit it in front of my dad. So I walked across the street to go hit my brother's nicotine device. And then I came back, and when I came back, the entire backyard was about this full of water.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
And it was, like, only, like, what, 60 seconds of me walking across the street, hitting the vape and coming back. I told him I had to pee. And I came back, and my dad's just standing there, kind of dazed, soaking wet, head to toe, kind of just like this. And I was like, oh, my gosh. What's going on? I didn't think electrocution, like, when I first walked up, but I was like, hey, you okay? He was incoherent, was slurring his words, and I'm like, this is very, really weird of my dad. Like, he's never like this. I come up to him. I walk through the water like an idiot. Thank God, though. The breaker kind of went off. And so did get electrocuted. Walked over to him and was checking him out. And I mean, he just. When you look at someone and, you know, eyes are the window to the soul and you don't see anybody there, that's kind of where he was. And I was like, oh, gosh, what's happening? Checked him out, make sure everything was okay. Notice he had. He was bleeding at the top of his head in one spot and then another spot, but no cuts, just blood seeping out. But basically, long story short, the entire. Gosh, words. The filters for exploded. It wasn't a sand filter. It was a cartridge filter. Cartridge filter exploded, caused the water to go everywhere. There was a cord that electrocuted him. And then I think he was electrocuted for about 120 seconds or something.
Sean
Holy crazy crap.
Jacob
Yeah. His survival rate was like God saved him as well too. So it was crazy. And I would have been in it with him if I didn't go and hit the vape. So, like the one time nicotine, I'll say was a good beneficial portion of my life is then, but can't argue that then. Yeah. So, yeah. And then I came, called the ambulance, kind of cooled him off, sat him down in the chair, went to the hospital. He lost like all his sight. Every, like, for a while, his face was drooping, all this stuff. And then God willed it. A couple weeks later, he was 100%, like, full recovery. Yeah. Full recovery, nothing.
Sean
So that's so nuts. When I look at these near death experiences, like the one with Trump a month ago. That has to be God. It has to be something. The odds of him just. That whole thing turning.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
Was crazy.
Jacob
Yeah. And what's crazy is there's these miracles and these God given crazy things happening all around us every single day, but we just don't open our eyes to see it. We like to choose to put, like to choose to look at the negative stuff.
Sean
Right.
Jacob
But there's miracles happening and gifts happening and all this stuff going on all the time all around us. But we just got to be attuned to seeking that and not the negative news. You know what I mean?
Sean
Yeah. I believe in miracles. You hear all these medical stories of doctors saying you have a zero percent chance and then they make a full recovery just like that, and they call it a miracle.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
But it's. It's something more than that, right?
Jacob
Yeah. Are you a believer?
Sean
I would say right now I am.
Jacob
Okay.
Sean
Before I started the show, I was atheist, though.
Jacob
Yeah. Okay, cool.
Sean
Crazy, right?
Jacob
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean
Yeah, I've had on some guests that have really shifted my decisions.
Jacob
Nice. And any one specific God, like Christ or just God in general so far.
Sean
God in general. Okay, cool.
Jacob
So agnostic.
Sean
Yeah.
Jacob
Okay.
Sean
I wouldn't label myself yet, but I would say I believe in a higher power.
Jacob
That's. Hey, dude. From atheist to that, that's a massive growth step. So, like, my encouragement to you is just keep seeking and you'll find.
Sean
Thanks. Were you your whole life Christ about Christ?
Jacob
Almost. So I grew up in a perfect Christian household. My family, my mom, my dad, my brothers, every, like, perfect role models. Right. However, I think just like most people kind of veered away from. Not most people, but veered away from the faith and from there started getting into drugs, women, all the stuff the world has to offer. Right. And from that kind of, you know, sin separates you from God. So I kept getting further and further and further and further away from God until the point to where I was just a hot mess. I mean, depressed, anxious, all the different things that you could imagine. Mentally ill, physically sick. Until then I went gnostic for a little bit until. So I was like, I believe in God, higher power. Right. But I'm not going to label it and specifically say it's Christ. Jesus. Right?
Sean
Yeah.
Jacob
And this pluralistic culture, I can't singly say it's just Christ. Right. Because that means everything else is wrong. And that's a bold thing to say.
Sean
Right.
Jacob
And so I just kept seeking, kept going down, and eventually I was like, you know what? I've been a Christian my whole life, said, I'm a Christian. I've never read the Bible from start to finish. I'm going to read the Bible start to finish. But I started reading it with the mindset of disproving it. And I wasn't hearing from God. And I read, I was like, I was like 800 pages in or something like that. And it wasn't until I got to Proverbs and, man, it just hit me like a brick one day, like, God showed up and he was just like, I felt so convicted or repented of all the things I was doing. And that was like the starting point to where I was back in the faith with Christ. And after getting back in the faith in Christ, well, then this led me on this long journey to what my message, what I really wanted to talk about today, of deliverance. So I basically was, I came to the conclusion that there was a lot of spooky stuff happening in my life that was supernatural, that shouldn't have been Happening. And I kept reading books and doing my own research, and it led me to, I think I need to be delivered. Right? However, deliverance is not really talked about in a lot of churches across the world, and specifically in America. So Satan by nature is a creature of darkness and he doesn't want his activities exposed. And with that, he's kind of lulled a lot of the churches into this sleepy state where deliverance is a thing of the past, right? That was in Jesus time. That's not it now. But it's equally as now as back then. It's just not talked about. It's a forgotten ministry of Jesus Christ. And so I kind of went on this. This journey of trying to seek deliverance. And everywhere I kind of asked was like, what are you talking about, dude? Like, you're a Christian. You can't have a demon, right? Like, that was the big major thing. And it was like, theology says you can't have a demon. And I was like, okay, okay, okay. Kept seeking, kept getting this prompting to keep going forward and keep seeking. Met with some spiritual mentors of mine, wonderful people. He was like, hey, let's try it. First one I did, ineffective Deliverance. I was like, okay, this made me think, I'm even more crazy, right? Like, this can't happen. So I went along three more months, seeked another. I was like, no, I gotta keep seeking another ineffective deliverance. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Okay, now I'm really going crazy. Then I get recommended from these people. That or the second one. People that do it on a weekly basis. They're going to be effective. I'm like, okay, great. Go there to do this deliverance. Nothing. Finally, I'm reading this book. It's called Restoring the Broken Walls of Past Generations, the Discovering the Forgotten Ministry of Jesus Christ. And it's by Eleanor. Amazing, amazing book. Holy Spirit Led. It is one of the most true books I've ever read and the most impactful book of my life, obviously, outside of the Bible. The books of the Bible. And from there, I determined this chick that wrote this book, Eleanor, is the only person that's going to be able to help me. She gets it. She knows what she's talking about, right? Like, everything in this book is lining up so well with my life. I know I have demons, so I got to get them out through a chain of people. I asked Mark who? Mark asked Justin, Justin asked Dwayne, and Dwayne gets Eleanor's number. Finally, we get to meet up with Eleanor. And this is in. I think December of 2023. I'm like, thank God. Like, if this. If Eleanor cannot help me, no one can help me, and I don't have demons, and that's the end of it. Super long story short, we get to go to Eleanor. And she's like, hey, I can do it on Monday in person, or I can do it Friday over FaceTime. I was like, you can cast out demons over FaceTime? Like, you gotta. You're kidding, right? Like, you're joking. And she's like, no, seriously, I can do it. So I'm like, hey, you know what? I want this done now and not in person. So let's do it over FaceTime.
Sean
Yeah.
Jacob
Super long story short, nothing happened. Over face. I'm like, oh, my gosh, dude, are you kidding me? Nothing happened. She's like, hey, this is not. This is an unusual case. I need to see you on Monday fast for a little bit longer. And let's all fast, too. My assistant will fast, and we're all gonna meet up on Monday. Meet up on Monday. Sure enough. Demon skin cast out of me left and right. Yeah, it was crazy. Yeah, but it was wild. It's still wild to say. Now it's become a little bit more of a normal thing in my life. But, like, back then, like, I mean, I was just left after. Eyes wide open, jaw drop. Like that just happened. That's crazy. Coming back to telling my family about, like, what happened, and they're thinking I'm an absolute lunatic. Love you, mom and dad. Love you, Adam. Lovely. Love you, Luke. But, like, seriously, that they. Everyone was thinking I was crazy. It was crazy. And then. Yeah.
Sean
So wait, so you saw them coming out of you?
Jacob
I didn't see them. I. Oh, my gosh. They can come out coughing, sneezing, belching, weeping, crying, throwing up, wretching, screaming. The feeling like, yeah, it's.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
Yeah, it's fine.
Sean
How did you know they were in you? Like, what. What was so compelling that you knew? You tried four different people out.
Jacob
The symptoms. Yeah, yeah. When you have, like, mental, like, you can have bad thoughts and not be demon oppressed. Okay, let me be very clear. We're not, like, getting all demon. The thing that with deliverance, ministry, and deliverances, everyone likes to go so gung ho on the demon, and then you get confirmation bias thinking, like, ah, that's a demon. That's a demon. That's a demon. Okay, relax. Calm down. It takes a lot of, like, we got to take a lot of discernment with bringing these spiritual matters. Like, in Front of us. And when you just keep having this insane mental oppression, this insane depression, this insane, like, spirit of heaviness on you, anxiety, all of these things, this is not the abundant life that God came to bring for us. Right. It's not what he intended for man. And I was like, that makes sense. Okay. But the issue is with the world is what happens is they're trying to deal with a spiritual root issue with, like, the physical, the. The fruit of it, right? So the fruit of it is anxiety, but the root of it could be a demonic entity. Not all the times you can definitely have them, you know, side by side, But a lot of the times that's what it was for me. And as soon as, like, for me, my physical illness, I grew up, I was that weird kid with allergies, asthma, gut issues, everything I couldn't eat, left, right. All this stuff to all the different ailments after I got delivered and I started obviously changing my diet, all that stuff definitely feeds into it as well too. But the real turning point was getting delivered. I got no gut issues. I've got no allergies, I've got no asthma. Crazy.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
Black and white. All that craziness.
Sean
Mind blowing.
Jacob
It is. It really is. It was a miracle. My God. Yeah.
Sean
Yeah. I never would have connected physical elements to that, to a demonic possession.
Jacob
And it's very. They're very sneaky, though. That's what they like to do. They like to. Because they're creatures of darkness, they like to hide behind something. So that's what they usually do. So either mental illness or. Or a physical ailment, they always hide behind it. And there's a big difference. I heard that word, possession. There's a difference between demonic possession and demonization. So possession implies complete ownership, which you can't happen to a Christian because God owns you, right? God owns his own. Demonization is just little bits of legal right from the inside influence, not the outside. So demonization versus possession, that's good to know.
Sean
Thanks for clarifying that. Do you think you're born with demonization, or is that something that's acquired through life?
Jacob
O, this is a. That is a really good question. So part of it is casting the deliverance is casting out demons. The other side of the equation is generational curses. And this is where it gets a little. Little weird, right? So in Exodus, it talks about that the sins will be laid down on the father and the children of the children, and then the ones who. I'm paraphrasing, unfailing love, those. The Blessings will also be passed down generation to generation. So you have both. The demons can enter. You can give legal right to your own sin in your life. That can give legal right to the demons in you or. Or vice versa. Something that your parents said on your mom's side of your dad's side of the bloodline going back to beginning of time as well too. So.
Sean
Really?
Jacob
Yeah. It's really crazy. And Eleanor's book, if you guys are more interested in the read this highly recommend is Restoring the Broken Walls of Past Generations, Discovering the Forgotten Ministry of Jesus Christ. She goes into depth. I'm summarizing it right now. There's also Derek Prince is another author as well too. But they go into depth on generational curses and how it happens at the time of like conception. Right. And you're born with it. And so it's.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
Interesting.
Sean
I wonder how common these generational curses are in families.
Jacob
My thinking is if I just look around and how evil the world is today and just like the evil generation and the stuff and like I'm equally of a sinner and I'm not holier than thou. Hear me loud and clear. I'm like literally the worst of the worst. So I'm saved by Christ Jesus and it's all in his name and his glory. It's nothing to do with me. I just look around and I think the demons are having a heyday because they are so undercover right now, but so in the face at the same time. I think Satan uses his twin tool of ignorance and fear comboed to then just open the door for his destructiveness.
Sean
Wow.
Jacob
And I think he's having a heyday right now, which is so, in my opinion, backwards because everything's been finished at the cross of Calvary and Jesus Christ has done everything and defeated Satan. Just the enforcers have sucked. And the enforcers being us humans enforcing this provision, what Christ made at the cross for us, it's just right. Very interesting. So I believe, I don't know, I think in three years we could totally flip the world upside down.
Sean
Nice.
Jacob
100.
Sean
Yeah. Well, when you study ancient civilizations, they seem to be very attuned to this kind of stuff.
Jacob
Yeah, they weren't dumb. They weren't dumb. I think we're the dumb ones.
Sean
No, I think they were very much more spiritually evolved than we are right now.
Jacob
Yeah, everyone's so disconnected. And then you can go down the route of like just the food people are eating, right? The chemicals being sprayed in the air, all this stuff that just like this slowly Severing your connection to God. So, like, that's the ultimate goal of it.
Sean
Well, that's their goal. Right. Sever that connection.
Jacob
Sad.
Sean
They don't want us to know that we have these abilities.
Jacob
Exactly, exactly. And the. I guess the power that comes from Christ Jesus is. It's amazing. It's unmatched. There's no every niche about. Right.
Sean
So it's like, yeah. Wow. This is why I had you on, man. I love it.
Jacob
Thank you.
Sean
In a thousand two hundred episodes, I've never had someone talk about this kind of stuff.
Jacob
Yeah, that's. But that's the issue. That's the problem. No one's talking about it. No one's bringing awareness to it. And the, The. My main hope with this is not to bring any type of fear. That is the worst thing to do is be like, sean, you have a demon. No, it does not work like that. I can share my testimony, the things that I related to and see, and then invite you into this and be like, hey, Sean, here's what I was experiencing. If you're experiencing some similar stuff, let's have a discussion and see if we can get you the help. But yeah, yeah, most, it's just the awareness. Satan has lulled everybody into sleep, that this is a thing of the past when it is alive and it is active. And it's just people need help. I mean, they're seeking counseling, they're seeking community, which is all a great piece. But that comes after you get the root out, Right. With the deliverance. So you got to get the stuff out then, the community and the connection and all that stuff. Absolutely, yeah.
Sean
So do you envision a society with no demons? Because here's where we might differ. I believe in yin and yang. I believe in good and evil. I think there needs to be a balance.
Jacob
Sure, sure.
Sean
So do you envision just no demons at all?
Jacob
That's a good question. I, I don't. I don't know. I don't know. I think that the more that you can kind of. Well, evil is never going to stop. Right. It's always going to push and push and push until it's met with an equal or greater force.
Sean
Right.
Jacob
And pushing that back. And so I think there's always going to be that kind of tension like you were talking about the yin and the yang until Christ comes back or whichever. Yeah. That. That comes first. And so I, Yeah, I just, I. I would love that. That'd be amazing. But we live in a broken world, and it's a fallen world.
Sean
And so, yeah, I'm with you on that, dude. Because you hear these talks of world peace, right? And it sounds great, but is it actually great if everyone had world peace? Yeah, you know, yeah, big time.
Jacob
I, I mean, it would be epic. But I don't think that's ever fully going to be the case until the coming back of Christ Jesus. So has anyone explained the gospel to you, like, in super simple terms?
Sean
Not really, no.
Jacob
I just like, I usually like to break down in four pieces. It's super, super easy. So you have creation, fall, redemption and restoration. And so the creation is God created the heavens and the earth, right? You got the whole genesis after that, man rebelled, sinned, Satan deceived him. Right. That's when Satan became the legal kind of ruler of this earth. God's still sovereign. And then you move to redemption. That's what Christ did at the cross, right? He's died for everybody's sins, for all of us. As simple and as, or as complex as the gospel is, it's so simple at the same time as well. And then we're kind of in between this redemption and the restoration phase. So Christ already died on the cross, rose from the dead, he's coming back. Restoration is going to be when heaven comes to earth and earth comes to heaven.
Sean
Got it. And are they saying a time period that's going to have potentially happen or.
Jacob
No, I try to stay away from this. I try to like, not. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, it is. I mean, I do feel like with how evil the world is getting, if I just open my eyes and look around, I'm like, I hope it's soon. Like, I mean, it could be tomorrow. I'd just be thrilled with that. Like, I mean, yeah, sad. I don't have to have my 7 to 11 kids, but I'd rather just be in heaven. Like, amen.
Sean
But yeah, so I do sense evil. I've become more sensitive being able to talk to so many different people and kind of feeling them out. And I do sense a lot of evil when I'm just walking about these days.
Jacob
Yeah, you can see it in their eyes too.
Sean
You can. There's certain celebrities we don't have to name drop any, but you see them and you just don't see like a soul almost, if that makes sense.
Jacob
I mean, you could talk about aura, right? Like, I know that's like that hot word that goes around right now, but it's, it's, it's a weird, it's a thing like you. And I think as you grow in the discernment as well, too. It makes it more evident about, like, was a demon. Who was that? Because, like, I try not. I. My goal is I walk around and I look at everybody like they are God's loved one, beloved children, and that their soul is more valuable than mine. And I want to make everyone feel heard, valued, and appreciated and just love on people. And then if I hear something in a conversation that might trick and I'm like, ooh, that's not a. That's not. That's not too good. Let me help. See if I can educate or inform you and see if deliverance is fit for you. Then I got to go down that route. And so that's how, like, my first. When I did my first deliverance on someone else, that's kind of how it came to be.
Sean
Oh, so you're doing them now on.
Jacob
People on a weekly basis now.
Sean
Whoa.
Jacob
Yeah. It went from. It was like an anomaly in my life. And then it was like five months later, six months later. Then it was like, okay, here's one person that needs. God brought me one person that needed to be delivered. Then it was like a month later, two months later, and then it was like, one more, and then it was like, okay, three weeks, two weeks, one week. Now it's like, yeah, regular.
Sean
Wow.
Jacob
But all glory to God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus name has nothing to do with me. I'm just like the kind of facilitator.
Sean
Dang, that's fascinating. And everyone that comes to you has demons at this demonic demonization at this.
Jacob
Point so far, was it I'm five for five or six for six? Not in, like, just in. In terms of effective deliverance. Because then this is where you get into another weird space, is there's a lot of ineffective deliverance out of there and effective deliverance as well, too. And ineffective deliverance drives people to believing that it doesn't work. It's a God of the past. Right. All this stuff.
Sean
Right.
Jacob
But, yeah, it's just been effective every single time so far. And I think it's just because people have lack of knowledge, misinformation. And I think those two things are better than no information. It's worse than no information. Right. Because now you're just. Yeah.
Sean
So what causes it to be ineffective? Because you tried four different people. Right. So what do you think it was? Do you think they were just too strong or.
Jacob
A multitude of reasons. There's a couple of different reasons. I think the first one is I don't think it was God's timing. I think God Wills everything God has to will it. Right. The second is, I think those people didn't quite know exactly what they were doing. And like, as I went through deliverance and went through the actual process and I compared it to what it was, I was like, that's not that. Not doing it. So got it. And then third, I think obedience has a big play into it. So I think your. Your spiritual authority is directly linked to your spiritual intimacy with Christ. And I don't think maybe they had like as much of the authority. Right. It's the Holy Spirit's power. But obedience plays a big factor into that and fasting does as well too. So you got to kind of break these. These things and fasting before the deliverance helps. And so I did a big, big old fast before the other one as well.
Sean
Wow, dude, it's fate. I've had you on today. I'm going to an energy healing session after this. And I could have had on any guests before, but it was you.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
Isn't that crazy?
Jacob
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean
I'm pretty excited. I've never done anything like this.
Jacob
Heck, yeah. If you ever want to try a different type of healing, you know the guy to call. Yeah, I. Yeah. Dude, I'm so serious. I'm so serious.
Sean
I might need to hit you up, man.
Jacob
Yeah, it's a. Yeah.
Sean
Anything else you want to get off your chest? Maybe where people can find you and potentially talk to you if they are dealing with some stuff?
Jacob
Yeah, I mean, right now we're working. I've called Operation Restoring the Broken Wall, influenced heavily by Eleanor's book working on creating a school community. Shout out. Alex Ramosi on just bringing a one awareness to deliverance and then most importantly, above awareness to deliverance that there is a heavenly father that loves you and supports you and is there for you more than you could ever imagine. And I think the enemy rejoices when he gets. When God gets blamed for all the evil stuff happening in the world. So I want to advocate for God. He is a good, good God. He Heavenly Father and all this evil stuff, he doesn't want it to happen. There's a enemy that's kind of framing him badly, so.
Sean
Absolutely.
Jacob
Yeah.
Sean
Well, we'll link your site below, man, if people want to get a session with you. Thanks so much for coming on.
Jacob
Of course, dude. Thank you. Pleasure.
Sean
Absolutely. Thanks for watching, guys. See you next time.

Host: Sean Kelly
Guest: Jacob Sciarro
In episode #1035 of Digital Social Hour, host Sean Kelly welcomes Jacob Sciarro from Arizona. Sean commends Jacob on his thriving business ventures and burgeoning social media presence, setting the stage for an in-depth conversation that intertwines spirituality, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
Jacob begins by sharing his profound spiritual journey, detailing his quest for deliverance from what he perceives as demonic influences. Initially met with skepticism, Jacob persisted despite unsuccessful attempts at deliverance through various channels.
[00:01] Jacob: "I kind of went on this journey of trying to seek deliverance… really, really good, but also with your brothers and sisters is good too."
His turning point came after reading the impactful book Holy Spirit Led by Eleanor, which guided him to the realization that he needed a specific form of deliverance that aligned with his Christian faith.
[00:16] Jacob: "This book… is one of the most true books I've ever read and the most impactful book of my life… If Eleanor cannot help me, no one can help me."
Jacob delves into the concept of deliverance, distinguishing between demonic possession and demonization. He emphasizes that while complete possession isn't possible for Christians due to God's ownership, demonization—where negative spiritual influences subtly affect one's life—is a real concern.
[28:07] Jacob: "Demonization is just little bits of legal right from the inside influence, not the outside."
He discusses his methodical approach to deliverance, highlighting the importance of proper technique, spiritual authority, and practices like fasting to enhance effectiveness.
[36:06] Jacob: "Obedience has a big play into it… fasting before the deliverance helps."
Jacob shares his success rate with deliverance sessions, noting that unlike his initial attempts, his recent efforts have been consistently effective.
[35:28] Jacob: "It's just been effective every single time so far…"
Transitioning to his entrepreneurial side, Jacob talks about Aqua Dots, his swim school business. He underscores the critical importance of early swimming education for children, citing neuroplasticity and the ease of overcoming water-related fears at a young age.
[09:10] Jacob: "The younger you do, the better, because the neuroplasticity and the brain is so fluid…"
Jacob recounts his progression from a swim instructor to general manager and co-owner, expanding Aqua Dots to five locations. His dedication stems from personal experiences, including a near-drowning incident in 2019 that reinforced his commitment to water safety.
A significant portion of the conversation revolves around Jacob’s harrowing near-death experiences (NDEs). He shares four such incidents, each reinforcing his belief in divine intervention and the presence of a higher power.
2016: Jacob almost drowned while saving a friend from a waterfall in Oman. Despite battling strong currents and almost being overwhelmed, he managed to survive, attributing his survival to divine assistance.
[10:58] Jacob: "I was really trying to... I think it was God saving me…"
Second NDE: Involving an electrocuted father during a home improvement project, where Jacob’s quick actions prevented further tragedy.
[17:30] Jacob: "The entire backyard was about this full of water… I think the breaker kind of went off."
Jacob contrasts his own NDEs with Sean’s experiences, highlighting their shared encounters with life-threatening situations.
[15:02] Jacob: "I've never had someone talk about this kind of stuff."
The discussion shifts to Jacob’s personal aspirations, including his dreams of a large family. He humorously contemplates having seven to eleven children but recognizes the need to first establish a stable family structure.
[08:17] Jacob: "Inshallah. God willing. Yeah. We'll see."
Jacob also touches upon his support systems, mentioning his monthly "Jesus Club" and weekly men's Bible studies, which provide a foundation of community and spiritual growth.
[04:07] Jacob: "We just meet, talk about the Lord, share, do life together, break bread."
Jacob and Sean engage in a philosophical discussion about the nature of good and evil. Jacob believes that while evil will persist as long as humanity exists, the power of Christ has significantly diminished its hold.
[30:18] Jacob: "Everyone's so disconnected… severing your connection to God."
He expresses hope for a transformative shift in society through spiritual awakening and deliverance, envisioning a world where divine influence actively counters evil.
[29:43] Jacob: "He thinks Satan uses his twin tool of ignorance and fear…"
Sean shares his belief in the balance of good and evil, referencing the yin and yang concept, to which Jacob agrees, acknowledging the ongoing struggle until divine restoration.
[32:25] Sean: "Because you hear these talks of world peace, right? And it sounds great, but is it actually great if everyone had world peace?"
As the episode wraps up, Jacob emphasizes the importance of awareness around deliverance and maintaining a strong relationship with Christ to combat negative spiritual influences. He advocates for combining deliverance with community support and personal growth practices.
[37:13] Sean: "Anything else you want to get off your chest? Maybe where people can find you and potentially talk to you if they are dealing with some stuff?"
Jacob mentions his ongoing projects, including Operation Restoring the Broken Wall, inspired by Eleanor's book, aiming to build a supportive school community and raise awareness about deliverance.
[37:19] Jacob: "Above awareness to deliverance…"
Sean concludes by promising to link Jacob’s resources for listeners interested in exploring deliverance further.
