B
All right, guys, Philip Wilson here, founder and president of Relax Saunas. Thanks for coming on today.
A
Thank you. Yeah, actually I'm the founder of Relaxed Saunas of Momentum. It's the marketing company for the Relax Sauna.
B
Nice. Yes. Yeah. You're the mastermind then.
A
Well, I'm a good communicator. I've been doing this for a long time. I, I had a, an interesting experience in 1970, again in 71, and I, I got tuned in.
B
Yeah, we're gonna dive straight into it, huh? Let's do it. Out of body experience in 1970.
A
That's right. That's what happened to me.
B
Yeah. What sparked that?
A
It was great. What is that?
B
What triggered that incident?
A
A trauma with a girlfriend finding another boyfriend and realizing that he could actually fulfill her needs and I couldn't. Yeah, as well. And so I went through about two, three days of being, being depressed. I wouldn't call it depressed, but I was just like a zombie. And then I had a realization that I needed to get involved in music, art and dance. Three years later, I looked back and it wasn't a realization. It was actually an out of body experience where they took me out of my body two or three beans. And they showed me the overhang of about the size of six indoor handball courts. In a 3/3 of the portion, women were doing dance. The other third they were doing music. And the other third they were doing art. And they were saying, you are so left brained, having an honors degree in mathematics. You need to start feeling, man. You need to start feeling. And so I had to pick myself up by the bootstraps and start. I mean, to me it was like I thought the secret of life is all you had to feel, not realizing. It's the balance between feeling and thinking. And that's really exemplified very well in one of Herman Hess's books, Narcissus and Goldman. And I read that book my first year of graduate school for about a month and a half. And I'd be walking back to the classes and it consumed me. And that's what life's about. It's finding. I was talking to a dancer friend of mine, I said, all you have to do is feel. She said, I don't know. I've been a feeler all my life. I think I need to think more. And so one of my favorite sayings is actually, it's a Paul Twitchell quote. He said, thinking without feeling brings about woe, like Hamlet. Oh, woe is me constrainted in thought. And feeling without thinking brings grief. And so, you know, having been almost sort of like violating that principle for my first 20 some years, it is just. It's driven me. Another famous quote, another one by Paul Twitchell, is that being for or against anything exiles you from the God consciousness state. Now I've softened it. I say being for against anything locks you into duality and then exiles you into the God from the God consciousness state. Because the secret in life as. As we all know or eventually realize is to be in the present moment.
B
Yeah, present. Super important. And it's important to both have both feeling and logic.
A
Yes, exactly.
B
I was similar to you. I live very logically.
A
Yes.
B
Yes. When did I do psychedelics? Yeah. Probably like 20 years.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, I remember when I was teaching honors calculus as a. As an undergraduate, Indiana University. I remember one of the students, one of the best students in the class, he would just be gazing right here, right through his third eye, you know, that's before I even knew what a third eye was.
B
Wow.
A
Yeah.
B
That's incredible. You were teaching honors calc.
A
Yeah. As a. As a. As a junior. As a. As a senior in, in college. Yes.
B
I could not pass that.
A
Well, I wasn't. I mean, I was a TA for it.
B
Okay. Yeah. I couldn't pass precoc. I could not do it. And I needed to pass that to get into the business school at Rutgers.
A
Yeah.
B
And I just couldn't pass. So I failed out of college. Well, could have Been a good thing in disguise.
A
Yes. Like I was going to be a PhD in math and then because of the out of body experience and because of the Kundalini awakening a year and a half later.
B
Wow.
A
Where all my cells in my body were, were like. I mean it's sort of funny because when I go back to those days when I was meditating and just all my cells were vibrating, I said oh my gosh. When I'm in the relaxed sauna, it feels just like that.
B
Wow.
A
Like I'm. It's.
B

A
Like a step down version of Basking in Divine Love. And I said oh my God, you know.
B
Yes, you're vibrating in the sauna sometimes.
A
Yeah. I mean it's like you close your eyes and then, and then and see what happens. Is the, the relax on a company. It took 10 years from 1987 to 1997 to create a certain vibratory rate, a certain frequency of light, certain wavelength. Turns out it's between 7 and 14 microns and it took them 10 years. They were, they were wanting to get hot springs energy in southern Japan where people would go to be healed.
B
Yeah.
A
And so they somehow. And it took 10 years to figure out how to take electricity and have it to generate that same frequency of light. Now after the fact, that's the same frequency that Dr. Yamasaki, Toshiba Yamasaki, she wrote a book called the Science of Foreign Food Therapy. And she says when you give the 714 micron frequency, it vibrates the water, weakens the ionic bonds and helps release toxic poisonous gases and heavy metals out of the body.
B
Wow.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's what they figured out for the sauna.
A
Well, it's sort of like, I don't know how, how it all happened, but we sent the relaxed sauna and two other portable saunas to Harvard MIT Science and Technology Lab about six months ago. They came back and said the relaxed sauna, the frequency they have, you know, sophisticated measuring tools, was between 7 and 14 microns.
B
Whoa.
A
And we sent it to Polytech University in LA about a year before. Same results for 60 Minutes, all between 7 and 4.
B
Dang, that's impressive.
A
And what was interesting is, you know, I've been saying for years, well, we have 100% foreign, and the other saunas have 20 to 50%. We don't know, they don't tell you. But the two other saunas we sent came back. The frequency was 1 to 6 and 0.95 to 1.32. That's 8% far infrared ray on the $1,300 portable sauna and on the 250Amazon, 100% near. But what was more important was, you know, first of all, we had 1/12 the EMF of the. And 180th of the EMF of those two saunas. But the, the important data was we had 3 1/2 times the penetration, depth and intensity than the other sauna.
B
Damn.
A
Four and a half times the Amazon.
B
That's impressive.
A
And so I've been going around, and now I'm, I'm just. I say, hey, the Relax sauna is a $20,000 sauna selling for $1500. In 20, 25, it'll be selling for 1700, and it's three times more potent than any $8,000 wooden saw.
B
Whoa. That's incredible.
A
And that's because that light between 7 and 14 micron, that's the magic frequency where, where it, it penetrates and absorbed by the body because you don't resist it because you are 9.4 microns, you. The water is 8 microns, so you can't tell it's not you. So if you can't tell it's not you, you don't have your defenses up. And it penetrates and absorbed.
B
Yeah.
A
Yes.
B
I'm glad I'm talking to you because you got to do your research with saunas like you see them at Costco or Amazon. And you can't just base it off the price, right?
A
Well, you know, every again, when you get a, a B supplement or a zinc supplement or vitamin C, you find out what's the dose, how many tablets, you know, what are the Excipients and all that, but. But not all saunas are alike. There's a detox specialist in Las Vegas who had that $1300 sauna. She had the higher dose blanket.
B
Yeah.
A
And they left her depleted.
B
Yeah.
A
When she got the relaxed sauna, it left her revitalized and detoxed even more. So she just gave them away, you know.
B
She gave away our sauna?
A
Yeah.
B
That's hilarious.
A
Yeah, that's, that's, you know, it's like you cut your losses.
B
Yeah. You brought some books with you. What's going on with these?
A
Oh, well, this, this is, this one is Detoxify or die. This, this spawned the far infrared sauna industry. Dr. Sherry Rogers was an environmental medical doctor and she. People with multi chemical sensitivity and environmental concerns were left to dead by the medical establishment. And she got them all healthy by using far infant saunas in the 1990s. Wow.
B
Far infrared. So what makes that one so much better than the other forms of light, I guess?
A
Well, she calls the far infrared sauna the superior sauna. See, because the, this guy, Dr. Bill Akpenar, he's a cancer doctor, an acupuncturist, a qigong master, he has a center of spiritual healing in New York. He uses ozone. He's amazing. And he's been using the relaxed sauna for about 10, 15 years.
B
Nice.
A
And he's been promoting it and he says this sauna creates more heat shock proteins than any other sauna by far. And he has talks about the history of saunas they've been using, whether the Finns were using it or the Greek baths, the Turks, the Amazon Indians, the American Indians, every culture has found a way to raise body temperature a little bit. And Hippocrates, the Greek guy, the father of modern medicine, he said, find me a way to create fever and sweat and I will cure any disease. Wow. So, you know, it's like, you know, again, people have no clue. I got a degree in math and my book forthcoming is called Pictures of the Mind. Freeing yourself from beliefs that no longer serve you. And so I'm aware of pictures and when people think of a sauna, they think of a wooden sauna. They don't think of a portable sauna where your head sticks out like this.
B
And that's what the relax ones are, right?
A
Yes. This is a portable sauna. And people like Rebecca Harder, I didn't bring her book. It's called Gastro Girl Healing the World One Colon at a Time. And she said that for 10 years she'd go by the Shows when we were having booths every year, and she just turn her nose and say, well, I have a wooden sauna. This certainly couldn't do with that, what my sauna does. So it's like my cell phone couldn't certainly do what a desktop computer did 10 years ago. It's like people just. They just don't understand, and that's okay. And so I'm. I'm an educator. That's what I do. It's my fun, because I'm always challenged. And, you know, I. You know, it's funny, whenever I talk to people and I've put probably 150,000 people in the sauna at. Since for the last 22 years at about 500 professional and consumer shows, and I've seen about 30,000 minor or major miracles.
B
Whoa.
A
And I never know what I'm going to say because I insist on being in the present moment so that I can say what they need to hear to make a change so their life can be transformed. Now, we all know that the relaxed sauna will transform any house into a home, because where there's a home, there's a hearth, a place of warmth.
B
Yep. You could put in an apartment with this one. You can't do that with a wooden one.
A
No.
B
Be tough.
A
You know, we had a massage therapist from Dallas call me and said, hey, my landlord won't. We won't let me have saunas. I said, hey, the relaxed sauna is not a sauna. Prairie dog's not a dog. You know, I. I hear that if you, if you call a koala bear a bear in Australia, they'll actually lynch you.
B
What?
A
No, that's kidding. I'm just joking.
B
Damn.
A
But they're offended.
B
Yeah.
A
Although I don't believe in being offended.
B
Yeah. I don't. I don't try to let my emotions control how I react.
A
Yeah. I quit doing that. I quit being embarrassed.
B
Those things are long gone.
A
Yeah. You experience them and you get the lessons and you finally realize that it's not very.
B
Doesn't matter as much as you think.
A
No. Pythagoras talked about the law of efficiency. You know, he's one of my heroes. He was a great. He was the father of modern mathematics. But he was also a spiritual teacher. You know? You know what they called him?
B
What they call him?
A
They called him the son of Apollo.
B
Son of Apollo.
A
Wow. You know what that's like? That's like calling him the son of God.
B
Yeah. High expectations.
A
Yeah. That's how he was revered in ancient Greece when he was Teaching. And he divided mathematics into four categories. Numbers in motion, Numbers at rest, Figures in motion. Figures at rest. Numbers and rest is called number theory. Figures at rest. Geometry. Figures in motion is called stereometry or astrology and astronomy. And numbers in motion is called harmony or music. Wow. Yeah.
B
So he invented all four of those?
A
Well, I don't know if he invented, but yeah, he also did a musical scale and everything. It was a spiritual practice and he called it the music of the spheres. So when you meditated, you could actually hear the inner sound. And that's how you travel back into the heart of creation on the sound. And the light is for you. So you can see. That's fascinating what's going on. It's a mental understanding, but it's a sound that you travel on.
B
Damn. So you've studied a lot of history, a lot of ancient.
A
Well, you know, I was having all these out of body experiences and all these while meditating.
B
And so is that astral projection you're experiencing?
A
No, no, it's not. You're just getting to the present moment and see, you know, reincarnation is a very clumsy way of saying everything's happening at the same time. So if you get in the present moment, wherever you want to be, if you want to be in 1906 at the, @ the San Francisco fire, you just, you just put your attention there and there you are. See, there is no time and space. That's one of my mantras whenever I get all messed up. Okay, there's no time and space. You know, here I am. And so, but, and this is. So I've been, you know, basically every moment of my life focusing on being in the present moment because there's nowhere else that you really can be. And so, you know, this is just what I do. And I just pretend I'm a merchant because it's, it's the way I, you know, make my way in the world. I have to make sure that the body gets fed and have I have it housed. Yeah, but I'm not, I'm not this body. I'm just in the body, you know, as a, you know, we need a clay shell to communicate with. That's, that's the law of this world. So I use this body to communicate and I just make sure I have fun.
B
That's fascinating.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
You can't live in the past, can't live in the future.
A
No, there only is the present moment. And, and so it's, it's, it's, it's fun talking to you because you understand my language because you yourself have had experiences that, that are similar to what I'm talking about.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
That's why we can relate.
B
I used to have bad anxiety and I realized I was living in the past too much. You know, I was thinking about old memories that were irrelevant. So, yeah, I would have terrible anxiety. They put me on Xanax. Yeah, terrible, right?
A
Well, you know, I had, when I had that Kundalini awakening, I, I ate meat. Three days later, a steak, and, and it's like, oh, my God. I was like, I could not. It took me about seven hours of meditating. I felt like I was on Thorazine or something. I've never been on Thorazine, but I've seen people on it. And so that, that was one of the experience. And then I was doing these yoga exercises way back, and I think that was 71. And then, then I had a whole lot of other experiences. I've been very blessed, have many dreams, and I'm actually, you know, sometimes you get out of sorts. The last couple years I've been out of sorts, but I'm, I'm just now getting back in tune and having good meditations again. You just have to, just have to accept and honor what's going on, and then when you honor it, it passes.
B
So the stake affected your meditation, though, at that time?
A
No, it didn't affect the meditation. I had to meditate to feel, to be able to feel, to feel alive. Wow. Then three days later had some ham and the same thing happened. So, So I just had to change my whole diet. And it was like, for. I was basically. This is, I mean, you know, it's just what I needed to do. I was living on dates, cashews and figs, as about 80% of my diet for about nine months.
B
Oh, so now you're back to eating meat?
A
Yeah. That was like 71.
B
Okay.
A
Yeah, I can eat anything now. I was vegetarian for a long, long time, and now, you know, I can eat fish or chicken or, you know, I eat steak about once a year, pig about once every three years. You know, I, I, I, you know, whatever I do, I'm willing to pay the consequences.
B
Yeah, pigs are a tough one. I feel like a lot of the, like, the way they're raised matters. Right?
A
Yeah.
B
So with pigs, it's, it's tough to have a good quality pig.
A
Well, it's just, you know, sometimes, you know, I, I've realized all these years that the, it's a pleasure principle. If the, if the pain of doing something finally is more than the pleasure. That's when and only when I stop doing it. It's like, you know, that's, you know, I think after everyone checks this out, it's pretty much true.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, but at the same time, the, the true sucker is when you can be in the present moment and you can feel totally free. And then, and then when you're totally free, you can, you can truly love. And. And this is why I love the relaxed sauna. Now. When you go out into the sun on a hot day and that searing sun, you close your eyes and it goes through your clothes to the bone. That feeling you have. That's a nice feeling, huh?
B
Yeah.
A
That's what it feels like being in the relaxed sauna because we give you only 100% of the FAR infrared light that resonates with the water and your body. And that's the difference. Like, we were talking about different supplements. You know, the, they're all like the, the detox lady was saying, all sub. All saunas are different. They all have different doses and no one even thinks of looking. You know, they never think of saying, well, what frequency is the light? And then, and then people are going around saying, well, full spectrum. That sounds pretty impressive because I used to, I studied John Ott, and he had, he wrote a book, Health and Light. And he. There was a situation where in a. In a fourth grade class, four of the kids had come down with leukemia and they were, what, what's going on? It turned out the teacher would close the blinds every day or the, the drapes, and they wouldn't get any real sunlight, so they only had the fluorescent light. And so, you know, I. I've been selling in my health food store that I opened in 1980 because I couldn't do math anymore. Because after that experience, I. When you, when you experience a form of reality that I experienced, doing math is like, mundane. You know, it's like they're greater problems. Like when I'm meditating, you know, just problems get solved. Yeah, that was my specialty as, As a. In high school, I was published solving problems in national high school magazines.
B
Yeah, you were number two in the state of Indiana.
A
Number number four. Number three. Number two. Yes. Number two in college, number four and number three in high school. Wow. Yeah.
B
Yes. You were on pace to be one of the top mathematicians in the world.
A
I went to a summer program in mathematics at University of Illinois with 33 gifted math students. That was my trajectory and all got waylaid and, and, you know, and when I lost interest in math. I said, Damn, I wasted 10 years of my life doing math. And then so I had to read about Bertrand Russell. I read about Lewis Carroll, and I had a read about Pythagoras. I had to do all this studying to. And here's what was the clincher. Socrates said, there's a purification of soul that occurs when you do mathematics. Yeah. And so I, I finally accepted the fact that I did not waste 10 years of my life. Okay. And, and, and in the, you know, in the learning of mathematics, I, I gained a lot of experiences and, and I, I apply those. Mathematical solving, problem solving to problems we all have in our everyday life.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Well, I think everything happens for a reason. I was addicted to video games growing up as a kid. And most parents would say, that's terrible for you, but I learned a lot from it.
A
That's right.
B
You know, absolutely.
A
That's, that's what. You know, a couple of years ago, I realized that, you know, you, honor, you don't just honor your mother and father, you honor everyone. And that, and that means you're not judging them. And the worst thing we can do is to judge people, you know, because when you judge someone, what, judge you not, lest you be judged. And I discovered the antidote of judging.
B
Yeah, I try my best not to do it. I used to do it a lot.
A
Yeah.
B
I think it's common to do it growing up.
A
Well, it's like, it's like a light switch. You turn it off and you turn on observation. You observe, which comes from the word serve. So when you're observing a sunset, you don't say, the purple should go where the, the orange is. You know, you just appreciate it.
B
Right.
A
And so there's a, There's a dark lining I discovered in every judgment that distinguishes it from, from an observation. It's called the complaint.
B
Yeah, that's, that's the next level. Right?
A
Complaints. So this is what I do. And on the side, I promote the relaxed sauna. Because when people get in the relaxed sauna, I'm at shows all the time. And about 20 years ago, two young women in their 20s, one said. And an hour later, the other lady said the same exact thing. Oh, my gosh, I feel like I'm being hugged by my loving grandma. And. And then the. Two hours later, there's another lady said the same thing. And today I have a cough. Okay. That's just part of what I have to experience and accept, you know, and so it's getting in my way a little bit. But I'm not letting it bother me, but I'm not. I'm normally not like this, just so the audience knows.
B
Great mindset to have, though.
A
The what?
B
Great mindset to have, though.
A
Yeah, I appreciate that. And so the, The. The far infrared light. And when you're in the relaxed sauna, it's only fitting that it feels like your grandma's giving you a loving hug. You're in the presence of a qigong master, a great spiritual being giving you unconditional love. You're in a beach in Hawaii, or you're basking in divine love. And that's. And those all four things have in common, unconditional love. Which means that the energy that you're experiencing in the relaxed sauna. Now, the relaxed sauna is different than any other sauna because they don't have carbon panels or that I can't even think of ceramic something or other. They have computer chips, semiconductor chips, and we have a double radiator, not panels. And see, this is a $20,000 sauna selling for $1,500. You can do what? I mean, I say it's more powerful than any wooden sauna. All saunas are going to be good. You know, if you live five miles from a grocery store, someone gives you a bicycle, you're excited, you're telling everyone, when you get a Mercedes, you can actually take the groceries back. You know, so everything has its value, and you don't want to be for or against anything. You know, everything is a lesson that gets you to where you are now.
B
Agreed. So with this one, your head sticks out, right?
A
So your head.
B
Do you feel like the head needs to be detoxed too, though?
A
Well, it does, because the blood circulates all over the body. Now, I. I mean, you're sort of tall.
B
Yeah.
A
But even though you're tall, you conduct your head.
B
Okay.
A
And I put my head in about 50%, 60% of the time sometimes, you know, for 30, for 25 straight minutes.
B
Got it.
A
Other times, I don't want to. Sometimes I meditate. Sometimes I'm on my cell phone checking my. My texts, you know, so. But. But it's like when I put people in conferences. And I mean, this one plastic surgeon, you know, he was just raving about it because, my gosh, I can put people in while they're doing IV therapy. I can put people in before they get a. Any kind of massage therapy. But he said, when he came out, he said, my gosh, my shoulder doesn't hurt anymore. And if. I mean, I'd be rich If I had a dime for every person who said my pain went away. And so I've got two things I say to people before they go into the sauna, at conferences or this is how I get them in. These are my, my, my claws or whatever, my hooks. I say, it feels like your grandma's giving me a loving hug. I get half of them in that way and the other. And other people don't budge. So I say, well, guaranteed 50%, 100% of your pain without sweating, five to seven minutes with your clothes on will be gone every time. Every time.
B
Wow.
A
And so people who are not going to go in because they're, they're sitting there in pain, but they're not letting anyone know because, you know, I'm surprised how many people have pain.
B
It's common these days, right?
A
Yeah.
B
Inflammation.
A
Yeah, right, exactly. Inflammation. So when people go in, all of a sudden, I mean, miracles after miracle after miracle.
B
Yeah.
A
We sold like 20 saunas this weekend at the day for.
B
I didn't even see your booth there.
A
We were in 9 041.
B
Oh, you were in the 900. Yeah. There were 700 booths.
A
Yes.
B
It took me like four hours just to get through half of it.
A
You know, I forgot to contact you. Said, hey, do you need a ticket? We're here. And I. But anyway, I saw Charlie.
B
Oh, nice.
A
You know, and this friend of mine says, hey, you know, this guy's pretty impressive. Go talk to him. And he's wearing your T shirt. I said, hey, I'm being interviewed tomorrow at. At what a time? Two o'clock.
B
Small world.
A
Yeah. So we had a good connection. He said, boy, that sauna was amazing.
B
I love it.
A
But we have about 900 testimonials on YouTube. You put in relaxed sauna testimonials and a lot of them come up. Then you go to the website. Yes.
B
When I was doing research for this episode, I couldn't stop scrolling. It was so many testimonials. You had all sorts. Back pain, arthritis, weight loss, improving digestion. Yeah. All sorts of testimonials.
A
Yeah. And about a hundred of those are people. Like, I got a guy from Louisville, he said, hey, we've been using your sauna for 20 years. You know, there's no sauna like it. The relaxed sauna is by far, you know, and then. So can I do an interview? So he gave me a 30 second interview.
B
Yeah.
A
And this happens all the time. Dr. Billica was there. He gave me his third interview. We met him at a cancer conference about 15 years ago on Thursday Night before the show started, he was in his, his gym clothes doing a 25 minute sweat and when he got out, said, we're going to sell this sauna now at my, at my health clinic.
B
Wow.
A
Yeah. Night and day. Then there was a while where, you know, he was busy and his staff decided another, this 1300 sauna was, was better because they have a, they have a good spiel. And so for a while they were selling that. And then, and then Dr. Billock came in and tested it one day, said, my gosh, the energy is clean. You know.
B
Yeah. The emf, Right.
A
Yeah. And the other one wasn't. And that's what, that's what Harvard MIT said. We had 1/12 the EMF of that sauna. Wow. And they're, they're a low emf. Full spectrum sauna. See, but full spectrum is a myth. Full spectrum means what natural means? It means nothing. Full spectrum means it's just infrared and.
B
Say, you know, all these labels are misleading.
A
Well, yeah, this is, and this is again, what, what, what's humorous. And that's what I. You just have to laugh.
B
Yeah.
A
Because otherwise you're going to cry and the tears need to come out to let them come out as laughter.
B
Well, usually the best company in any industry just has the best marketing. It's rarely the product.
A
Yes.
B
You know.
A
Right. And so we're working on getting our marketing up to stuff. But, but we do, we do have by far the most therapeutic sauna. We have five cancer clinics selling it. We have Dr. Robert O. Young. He's been using saunas for 35 years. He's got $30,000 saunas, but he uses the relaxed sauna.
B
Yeah.
A
I got two testimonies of his.
B
I might keep one at the studio while guests are waiting, you know, Absolutely. Wouldn't be a bad idea.
A
Five to seven minutes.
B
That's not bad at all. And no sweat. That's the sell. That's the selling point right there. Because people don't want to get in before because they might sweat.
A
Well, also the instant on, I mean, I've had doctors said what we like best about you is instantaneous.
B
My wooden one takes an hour to heat up and I haven't even measured the EMF on that one, to be honest. So it could be pretty high.
A
Well, you know, I've got a guy in Oklahoma, he's got 12, 14 EMF protectors that he's tested. He's selling two of them and he says the relax sauna radiator is more effective than any of those emf protectors. Whoa. Yes. See, a lot of people don't realize far infrared ray energy. According to Dr. Yamasaki in her book the Science of Far Infant Therapy, that far infrared antidotes negative effects of microwave emf. Like this one guy have an interview with him, he says these things are microwave devices and they are 100 times more dangerous than any household appointment.
B
Oh, I can see it. I just had to turn off my facial recognition.
A
Yes.
B
Because I met someone at the conference yesterday. EMF rocks. He had a booth and he said if. If you pointed at your face or whatever, it's like way stronger, right?
A
Yeah.
B
So I turn that off, but I need to find an EMF protector.
A
Well, use the Relax.
B
Yeah, yeah, but I bought a Faraday bag. You can't use your phone while obviously while it's in it. But.
A
Yeah, well, you know, by using the Relax on it. See, it's like I tell people, you know, people come to my booth and I say, hey, if you've got. If you've been damaged by emf, and most people haven't, it's the fear of emf. Like Harry Potter, you say voldemir. And they're afraid, you know, but just to mention them, EMF just puts fear into people's minds, you know, and hearts. But it's the. If. If you, you know, like I said, the. Dr. Yamasaki said, the far infrared energy antidote, the ill effects. And I tell people, if you've been damaged by emf, get a relaxed sauna. It will undo the damage.
B
That's cool.
A
And yet people accuse, they think, they look at the relaxed sauna. Is that. Does that have dangerous emf? And they don't realize that. And that's why, see, near infrared and mid infrared are good. They have their place. The near infrared lasers are good. The near infrared light bulbs we tested in 2004, they can't do it. The far infrared energy does. We are significantly more in penetration and in helping circulation. Near infrared penetrates 1 to 2 millimeters. The relaxed sauna, the far infrared penetrates 40 to 50 millimeters, or 1 1/2 to 2 inches. So if that's the case, how do you think turtle eggs hatch? Oh, the chicken lies that know. The chickens don't do that. Neither do the turtles. The far infrared sun. Okay, far. And light from the sun goes to the sand 2 inches and resonates with the water in turtle eggs. And that increases the body temperature.
B
Wow.
A
And the turtle hatches.
B
That's crazy.
A
Yes.
B
And it's like just from the sunlight yes, Interesting.
A
Yeah. And when, when they have premies, they shine far and fed light on the little babies. And when they get normal, stupidly, they stop instead of letting them all babies. What a wonderful way to come in the world. Being embraced by divine love. Yeah, you know, by, by loving light. We call it loving light. We have 100% loving light. That's the ingredients of our product.
B
Yep.
A
It's like curcumin is the active ingredient in, in turmeric. And people have saunas. No sauna tells you this is our frequency. They say, oh, it's, it's, it's, it's this temperature. Yeah, well, you know, and they talk about the temperature as if it's important because in the finished saunas temperature is important. But the Mayo Clinic says 2004, if you're a heart patient of ours, do not use a finished sauna, do not use a hot tub. Far infrared saunas, however, extremely therapeutic because they raise body temperature. Now see, the heart has to race to find an equilibrium between the inside and the outside temperature. And if you raise body temperature, raise core temperature, there's no racing of the heart. Now a golden measurement of how effective and how therapeutic a far infrared sauna is or an infrared sauna is how much it increases heart rate variability. So in 2017, in February, this guy, I don't even know him, he, he, he says, look at this research on, on infrared saunas, these wooden saunas. Oh my God, if this $250Amazona can do that, I'm sitting pretty. So he ordered one increase body temperature a half a degree only in 25 minutes. Heart rate variability. It didn't do anything close to what it was supposed to do in the research. Okay. And again, you know, we sent one of them to, to Harvard MIT Science and Technology Lab and the report came back that they were 100% near. You know, which I was shocked because I always, you know, and you know, and the other sauna, the 1300 dollar, was only 8% FAR, 37% MID and 55% NEAR. And so at any rate, the energies coming from these saunas, what you want is, you want the far, because the more far there's a guy, his name is Matt something or other, Matt justice, and he says the more far you have, the more therapeutic your sauna is. And we have 100% far between that magic frequency. And that's why we're able to get results with Lyme disease, with chronic pain. You know, I don't want to say the C word, but, but we get results and we even have two women who got the shots. 20, 21. And they cried after going in the sauna for five to seven minutes because they had feeling in their fingers for the first time. Wow. In two years.
B
That's crazy.
A
And the other one could feel the circulation in her legs for the first time. Yeah. So we have. We. We were in Detroit for a conference, and the lady was in a wheelchair, and she got in and she said, I've been having. I got a flu shot, like, 13 years ago. And she'd had shooting pain in her feet for 13 years. In 10 minutes. Gone.
B
No way.
A
Gone crazy. A year, a month and a half later, she called, she told me she's out of her wheelchair.
B
Holy crap.
A
And we did the same thing in Dallas about eight years ago. Put a lady in.
B
And that's beautiful, man.
A
Out here changing lives, right?
B
That's incredible.
A
Transform and see. And like I said, it transforms your house into a home, because where there's a home, there's a hearth. But it does. I tell people, this will transform your health and your life in three days to three weeks, guaranteed.
B
Yeah. We'll put a link in the description below along with a code, guys, for a little discount. Anything else you want to close off with, Philip?
A
Well, the website is Relax Saunas. With an S dot com. We have seven. I mean, about 900 testimonies. I've been interviewed like this about 15, 20 times. We have a web page for that. We have a web page for all the talks I've given. And the Relax sauna truly is different. And we have, like I said, About 100 different testimonies from people saying, I've been in many saunas. This is the one that I use. It feels better. We get better results at our clinic. And, you know, you honor all other saunas. And sometimes it's just so hard when someone's got a wooden sauna and they think they've got it, you know, but there's always another. There's always something greater in the horizon. And it's always important to be open because I run into people, you know, on every level. You know, well, I already have a sauna. I said, that's nice. You know, it's like. Like the 2008 presidential debates. But you're no Jack Kennedy.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, it's like, yes, but you don't have a relaxed sauna. And I don't know how to convey to you that this is different than. The only way I can say is experience the difference. And then you can feel the momentum and people come away. Like one of the testimonials, we got this lady, she's from Alaska, and she said after three minutes, after she got out, oh, my God. She was like, so, so clear. So tuned in. It's like, it's magical. And so the relaxed sauna is the magical sauna. It's the spiritual sauna. It's. It's a sauna that gives you the pure, loving light. All the saunas are good, but if you haven't tried the relaxed sauna, you're missing the boat. And, and you're going to give a special discount code, right?
B
Yeah. We'll link below, guys, stay tuned. Thanks for coming on.
A
I've been using it for 22 years, almost every morning.
B
There we go.
A
And it's, it's amazing. And, and it's, it's like such a blessing. I have so much fun. And like, we had eight people working at the, at the A4M show. And it's so cool when someone comes out and says, God, you helped transform my life.
B
That's incredible. Yeah. Guys, check it out below. Check them out at a future trade show. Thanks for coming on, Philip. That was awesome. See you guys.
Digital Social Hour: Harvard Study Reveals This Sauna's Hidden Advantage | Phillip A Wilson DSH #1099
Host: Sean Kelly
Guest: Phillip A Wilson, Founder and President of Relax Saunas
Release Date: January 14, 2025
In this episode of Digital Social Hour, host Sean Kelly engages in a deep and insightful conversation with Phillip A Wilson, the founder and president of Relax Saunas. The discussion delves into Wilson's personal journey, the science behind Relax Saunas, notable research studies, and the transformative benefits these saunas offer.
Wilson begins by sharing his transformative life experiences, including an out-of-body experience in the early 1970s triggered by personal trauma. This pivotal moment led him to balance his logical, mathematical mind with a newfound emphasis on feeling and spirituality.
Notable Quote:
"Being for or against anything locks you into duality and then exiles you into the God consciousness state. The secret in life is to be in the present moment."
—Phillip A Wilson [03:30]
Wilson emphasizes the importance of living in the present moment and balancing cognitive reasoning with emotional intelligence, referencing influential figures like Paul Twitchell and philosophers such as Pythagoras and Socrates.
Wilson provides an in-depth explanation of the unique technology powering Relax Saunas. He highlights that the saunas emit far infrared light within the 7 to 14-micron range, a frequency proven to penetrate the body deeply without triggering defensive responses.
Notable Quote:
"The relaxed sauna emits light between 7 and 14 microns, which resonates with the water in your body, allowing it to penetrate and be absorbed effectively."
—Phillip A Wilson [06:45]
He contrasts this with traditional saunas and other infrared saunas that emit a mix of near, mid, and far-infrared rays, often resulting in lower efficacy and higher electromagnetic fields (EMF).
A significant portion of the discussion centers on the validation of Relax Saunas through rigorous scientific studies conducted by prestigious institutions like Harvard and MIT. These studies confirmed that Relax Saunas operate within the optimal micrometer range and exhibit significantly lower EMF levels compared to other saunas.
Notable Quote:
"Harvard and MIT verified that our saunas consistently operate between 7 and 14 microns and have 1/12th the EMF of other models on the market."
—Phillip A Wilson [07:56]
Additionally, Polytech University in LA corroborated these findings, reinforcing the superior penetration and intensity of Relax Saunas’ far infrared rays.
Wilson contrasts Relax Saunas with conventional wooden saunas and other infrared saunas available on platforms like Amazon. He points out that while traditional saunas may rely on higher EMF levels and mixed infrared spectra, Relax Saunas focus solely on far infrared for maximum therapeutic benefits.
Notable Quote:
"Unlike wooden saunas that lock out their heads and have higher EMF, our portable Relax Sauna allows for 50-60% head exposure and operates with much lower EMF levels."
—Phillip A Wilson [09:16]
He also mentions that competing saunas often fail to deliver the same depth of penetration, which is crucial for effective detoxification and overall health.
Wilson shares numerous testimonials from users worldwide, highlighting the profound health transformations achieved through Relax Saunas. These include significant improvements in chronic pain, inflammation, circulation, and even cases where users have reduced or eliminated their reliance on mobility devices.
Notable Quote:
"We have about 900 testimonials on YouTube demonstrating benefits like reduced back pain, arthritis relief, weight loss, and improved digestion."
—Phillip A Wilson [29:49]
One particularly moving story involves a woman from Alaska who regained circulation in her legs after just minutes in the sauna, ultimately leaving her wheelchair after consistent use.
The episode delves into the myriad health benefits of using Relax Saunas, supported by both scientific research and user experiences. Key benefits include:
Notable Quote:
"Our saunas are designed to increase body temperature without making the heart race, promoting heart rate variability, which is a key indicator of cardiovascular health."
—Phillip A Wilson [34:15]
Wilson also touches on the sauna's role in counteracting the negative effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF), positioning Relax Saunas as not just wellness tools but also protective devices against modern technological stressors.
Wilson discusses the challenges and strategies in marketing such a specialized product. He emphasizes education and evidence-based promotion, leveraging scientific studies and authentic testimonials to build credibility.
Notable Quote:
"We have to educate people that not all saunas are created equal. The science behind our frequencies and low EMF levels sets us apart."
—Phillip A Wilson [31:33]
He also highlights the importance of experiential marketing, where potential customers can personally feel the difference, often leading to immediate sales and long-term loyalty.
The conversation concludes with Wilson reiterating the unique value proposition of Relax Saunas. He invites listeners to experience the transformative benefits firsthand and provides avenues for further engagement and acquisition.
Notable Quote:
"Experience the difference with Relax Sauna, and transform your health and life in just three days to three weeks, guaranteed."
