Evan Rugen says he accessed $1.65 million at 0% without providing tax returns or bank statements. In this Digital Social Hour episode, Sean Kelly sits down with Evan Rugen to discuss business credit, 0% funding, credit repair, international funding, real estate, SBA loans, remote teams, and how entrepreneurs can gain access to capital. Evan explains how promotional credit offers can be stacked across multiple banks, why a strong credit profile matters more than most people realize, and how funding can help business owners invest in marketing, payroll, real estate, or acquisitions. The conversation also covers building credit with an ITIN, helping international clients enter the American banking system, removing inaccurate negative items, avoiding common business credit mistakes, and why some popular online credit advice can hurt your chances of approval. Evan also shares how he built his finance community, why he prefers online businesses over real estate, and why access to cap...

It's so nuts because people spend their whole lives trying to become millionaires.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Right.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You were able to borrow 1.6 million with how long?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And that's also without ever broughing a document. We have our biggest guy. We've got a German guy who's never stepped foot in America. We got him 160,000 at 0%. I was talking to this girl last night, daughter of one of my students, and she's 17. She's like, I want to get into real estate. I'm like, okay. She's like, I want to get the real estate credit. I'm like, choose credit.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay, guys, we got Evan here, the goat of funding, number one community on school in the finance space. Thanks for coming, man. We've been talking for years.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
For years, bro. Great to finally be in the flesh. Baby at the table.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Let's go. But dude, welcome to Vegas. How's it been? You lose a lot last night gambling?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
You know, it's so interesting. It's like Facebook ads has ruined gambling for me and all this other stuff. It's like when we invest on Facebook, on average we get about a 7x ROI. And you just, you hear that number, you're like, oh, okay, 7X. You know, but truthfully, it's like if you bought a house for 100,000, you sold it for 200. That's a 2X. You'd be really happy if you sold a house and you made 2x your money. Every time we deploy money onto Facebook, we make 7x. So it's like gambling. It's like what? It's like, I would rather just put this money on Facebook ads, but I'll go for fun and lose, lose some money, you know, but it's all good.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Have a good time. Yeah. Seven to one. It's because your offer's so good that it's just hitting right.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I mean, you're basically help people get access to capital. That's the main offer.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. So I myself have gotten access to $1.65 million at 0% without ever providing a tax return or bank statement. And I use that same exact framework on all of our clients credit profiles. So you don't need any tax returns, don't need bank statements. The most common thing, you know, that we work with, we work with like the, you know, the three main people. If I was going to pick three is like real. A lot of real estate guys, because money is everywhere in your pocket with real estate and the more money you have, the more deals you can do.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
So in buying a business, you know, let's say you want to buy a Laundromat, you want to buy a Turo rental fleet, whatever. You need access to capital. And number three is that person who's already in business and they need more money to supercharge their business for marketing, for expenses, for payroll. We fund all these people at 0%. And again, you know, if you're a viewer seeing this, it's not. I'm not letting out my money. I'm helping you get access to the bank's money. And again, what is that? You know, everyone from, you know, middle America, zero percent. It's a scam. What it is. It's a promo period. The same way you can get 0% on a motorcycle for 36 months. 0% APR. It's the same thing on business funding. Yeah, exactly. We just figured out. Out. We figured out that. I don't want to say hack. We figured out that loophole because, again, they need a reason for you to walk through the door. So when they give you that 0% for, you know, 12 months from, you get 50,000 from Chase, 50,000 KeyBank, 50,000 from citizens before, you know, you have $150,000 at 0% for your next fix and flip. And, like, I don't know if you've ever done any real estate stuff. A lot. These guys, they tell me, they're like, yeah, we're in and out of our flips in six months. So, like, you're actually cyclist money twice.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Exactly. So 0% is not a scam, guys. It helped keep my business alive, dude.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So when I was first starting the
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Poisey Limits, by the way, I remember seeing those back in the day.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah, Yeah, I had 50 on some cards, but basically when I was first. Yeah, Chase. Chase is usually how you get the 50. When I first started the show, I invested 100k for six months, and I wasn't able to monetize yet. So zero percent cards help keep the business alive. It gave me 12 months of Runway. So about six months into the show, I got about 100, 150k and zero percent credit cards.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Let's go.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And that helped save the. The podcast. Now that I got it, bro.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And. And that's what it's there for. That's why I truly like business funding. Because if you did that on a personal credit card, your utilization would have go. Would have gone up, and your score would have been, you know, in the. You know, in the 500s. But with business funding, you can max out a card again. I have a card right now. I'm not going to show the numbers. I get old old reliable right here. Actually, technically, technically, this one. I'll show an example here in a second. But this card is $100,000 card, zero percent.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I have another nine months. It's maxed out.
SelectQuote Representative
Damn.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You got 100K.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, well, I'll tell you the, the lineage of how I got that in a second. But I, I'll go backwards. But yeah, this card's $100,000 at 0% and it's maxed out, but my credit's still in 830 because it's on the business side.
Oregon Lottery Announcer
So.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But, oh, you have a max up credit card. Yeah, I do because I just told you I get 7x return on, on, on my capital. And if you're watching this, make sure that you're putting into real estate or something smart where you get the return back on it. But yeah, this is going to, the balance is going to stay in this card for another 10 months until, until the, the, the promo that runs out. Guess what? I just borrowed 100 GS for a year for free and I'm going to pay it down to zero. No, and here's the, here's the, actually the exciting thing, man. And, and this is why I have old, old reliable here. I don't know if you can see it's old. This is like, you see how tired this thing is? So this is my former Card. This is $70,000 at 0%. I use this in 2025.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It was maxed out the entire year. At the end of the year, I paid it down to zero. Okay, follow me here. The next card, I went back in the Chase. I'm like, hey, I'd like to, you know, get another business card. This card was 30. So I transferred the limit from this card to this card because now this card is useless. I don't pay credit. I don't pay interest. Now this has a 25% interest on it. I don't, I don't use it anymore. I just, you know, pretty much throw it away. So transfer the limit from this card to this card. So, so this went from 30 to $100,000. What am I going to do in a year, Sean? I'm going to pay this card down to zero. I'll have, I'll have $100,000 available. The, the zero percent promo will run out. I'll go back in the chase. They're like, hey, Chase, I'd like to get a new car. They'll probably give me another $30,000 limit. I'll transfer the limit from this card to this card, because this. Because at some point, the 0% will run out. Then I'll have $100,000 for another year at 0% to grow and scale my business.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Insane. Is that the same llc, or do you have to make a new llc?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It would probably, in my scenario, be the same llc, but you can put it to a different llc, too. Yeah. So I just keep pushing it down the road, keep reinvesting, and. And that's how I've gotten to 1.65 million. Because, again, like I always say, the bank is a person.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I go to borrow money from you, Sean. I'm like, hey, man, Let me borrow 30 GS. Borrow from you, pay it back, no problem. In a year. I'm like, hey, can I order 50? Like, yeah, sure.
SelectQuote Representative
No problem.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
It's bro. Yeah. It's so nuts, because people spend their whole lives trying to become millionaires.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Right.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You were able to borrow 1.6 million with how long?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And that's also without ever providing a document that was in. I'd say, over the course of 36 months.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And I'll be. I'll be a 2 mil by the end of the year.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And. Holy crap.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And otherwise, if you had to work for that money, it would have taken you decades. If you worked a job.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, if you worked a job. Exactly. And really, bottom line, man, how. How, you know, I think about. Is that when my head hits the pillow at night, I'm like, okay, I have access to a million dollars. You know, like. Like, at any time, I could withdraw right now, and I could deploy towards an investment. And decisions in. In. In life and in business come from two spots. You know, I call opulence or fear.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Right.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
These are the two different things. And so when you're moving in, fear. You know, you can only think a week, two weeks in advance. But when opulence deals just come to you, you know, the amount of real estate deals that are just come to me because they just know I'm sitting on a million dollars. They're like, yo, this deal is about to go into foreclosure. We need someone to close in a week. I'm not even a real estate guy anymore. I'm like, sure, here you go.
Capella University Narrator
Boom.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Just made $150,000 in equity. And because no one can close that fast.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. Because most people go about credit cards.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Wrong.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Because the monthly interest is 2% on average for them. Right.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Well, these are. They're. They're. They're zero, but the payment is 1% towards the principal.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Got it.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. And then there's also lines of credit which have interest.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But again, that's easier. Access to capital. And then business credit cards. You can liquidate as well.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Are you playing around with the lines of credit, too?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I mean, I have them. I mean, I have a. I, I have. I. A little bit like I think I have. Of the 1.6, probably 700,000 is. Is. Is in line, which, what that is is just like I just got approved for Key bank last week.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
$50,000. I'm like, if I need $50,000, you just move it from the line of credit to your bank account and then you have $50,000.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I just took one out. Yeah. QuickBooks.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. Yeah. How much did QuickBooks give you?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
They gave me 60. I did the math. It's. It's. If you pay it off within three to six months, it's actually not that bad.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
What was the interest?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
15, 16, something like that. But it's lower if you pay it off quicker.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. So the good thing with that, Sean, with QuickBooks, actually, QuickBooks has given me 300,000.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Nice.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
So what's good there, man, is you're. You're gonna pay that off whenever, three, six months. You're killing here, obviously. And then the next line they give you will be larger. So you said the first one was

Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And by the way, when you get it, you know the button you click.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Is let's get funded. Let's get funded.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You got a trademark?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It is, it's pending, but yeah, that's another story. But yeah. So what you're doing there man, is that that's technically speaking a merchant cash advance, which I've never done one in my life. But whenever I hear that that's 50, 60, 70% interest, that is the most afford affordable advance in your money you could get is through QuickBooks. But what will happen is after you pay that 60 back, the next loan they'll give you the, it will be, it will be larger and the rate will be lower. So I remember my first one was 60 and I think 17. And the next loan I got was 150 at 10% and you click, let's get funded. I got a term load just in your account the next day.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Next day. I just got it this morning. I was like, what the hell? Yeah, crazy. Being an American is amazing. You also help non Americans too, correct? I want to get into that. Yeah. I feel like living here, we just have so much opportunity.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, man. Yeah. I mean, to segue into that. I mean, like I was telling you, you know, offline is that. Oh, yeah, my dad, you know, we, we also have, have segued into helping a lot of Canadians, a lot of Filipinos, a lot of Mexicans who don't have socials. I was walking around the Philippines about, about a year ago with my guy Franco, who by the way is on a flight right now to America.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Shout out to Franco.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, shout out to Franco. So for all you people are like, oh, I can't get credit. I got bad credit. I have a guy who doesn't have a social. He was able to get an itin Individual Tax identification number and we're able to build out his profile and now he's flying for free.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
No way.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Jet setting everywhere. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
He's from the Philippines.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. I was walking around with the Philippines with him about a year, year and a half ago. And we're downtown Manila, or maybe it was Quezon City, one of the two.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And I look up and the tallest tower, Sean, in, in the city there was American Express. I'm like, bro, you have that over here. He's like, yeah, man, what are you talking about? And we went sort of down a rabbit hole and now we sort of helped a lot of international people get itins, which, what that does now they get, they can get funding. We have our, our biggest guy. We've got a German guy who's never stepped foot in America. We got him 160,000 at 0%.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Holy crap. Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And again, the mindset there is like, whoa, I didn't know I could get this, you know. So what that does is one, they have funding. They don't have 30 year mortgages in Germany. Number one funding. Number two, they can fly for free. Number three, it shows to got a n right here. It shows to America. It's like, hey, if you are paying taxes in, in America, you get citizenship a lot quicker.
SelectQuote Representative
Right.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
So now that they have American funding, they're buying businesses, they're starting to, you know, start their journey and get citizenship that much quicker.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's smart.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Some guy In Germany that had no credit score, you were able to get 160k.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. I'll give you another visual representation here. Okay, let's see what cards I got. Okay, so this is great. Two of the exact same AmExes. Okay, so let's say this was formed in the Philippines, is a Filipino American Express guard. And this is an American American Express card. So what was. Let me, Let me explain that again. So this is a Filipino. This is. This is Franco. Let's say Franco formed this, this card. He's in the Philippines. He got it through an itin, but because he has an itin, Individual Tax Identification Number, even though he's in the Philippines, he's classified as an American. Okay, but let's say this card is just a Filipino amex. Okay? So on this card he gets a hundred thousand points. Okay. Everything is the same on this card other than the fact that he formed it through an itin. Guess how many points he gets on this card. So 100 for this, everything is the same.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
100,000 for this in the Philippines. How much does he get for this card? How many credit card points you think?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
How much?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yes.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Is it more?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
500 more? A million?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
800,000.
SelectQuote Representative
Holy crap.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And the reason is because in the Philippines, again, they're like, whoa, 100 credit card. 100,000 credit card points. I didn't even know I could get that. But Americans, you know, they're like, consume. Consume more debt, more money. So they have to push us harder, motivate us more to spend on their credit cards. So the reward system in America is that much bigger.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
How many flights can you get for 800, 000 points, you think?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
A ton.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's a lot of miles, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Because that's. Because you would have had to spend 400,000.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
800, that I, I believe, if I'm not wrong. I think that would be four flights round trip from the Philippines to New York City.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, dude.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Just for signing up for a card.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Just for signing for a card. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And for somewhere in the Philippines, that's like life changing.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Life truly life changing and life changing in the way that we've now proudly brought one of our. My CEO Franco. He's like the star of the show, by the way. By the way, his mom's 75th birthday yesterday, he came over here and it just really interesting to watch the mindset just shift like, like, like that, you know, because they're, you know, in third world country, they come over here and they, they see all this Stuff they're exposed to an environment and, you know, they, they become monsters. They go back to the Philippines. It's crazy. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Because the average income there is three an hour. Right.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
$4, something like that. I don't even know anymore. We, he makes, you know, well into the six figures.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You know, I'm over there. That's probably like boss lifestyle sprinting, bro.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, man.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Why do you like hiring over there specifically?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I started over there. We, we definitely. I don't want to say we've graduated, but we've gone. We started a lot in Latin America and Brazil. We have a couple Peruvians. It's a good like starter Pokemon, I'd say there's a lot of like Charizards out there.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But if you want the Charmeleon, you know, I think you had that in my bag. I'd go Latin America. I'd say culturally it's a little bit closer, but we even have, you know, I never thought we'd have people in other countries. We have a Guatemalan or Venezuelan. One of the, one of the other sales guy, he was like an attorney, Like a Venezuelan attorney. He just got into remote sales. He's in Venezuela, like printing. So I'd say we started with Filipino and a lot of like the, the, the, the, the, the clerical work, like removing inquiries, disputing stuff like that. Maybe buildings. A lot, like a lot of the marketing side. And then we've brought in a lot of people from Latin America, like on the. More of the client facing roles.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Got it. Yeah. Because with what you do, there's a lot of admin work involved. A lot of applications.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, exactly.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
A lot of tedious, lot of handholding.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
You know, and my, my rule is if someone can't get through your company drunk, it's not good enough.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So whatever.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. Someone's like, oh, I'm just gonna send the link. I'm like, okay, if I was drunk and I'm not talking like a Coors, like, I'm talking like six or seven shots. It's late at the night. I'm like, if I see the link, I'm like, look at that, you know, so, you know, if someone, you know, her mosey call to call someone pays you immediately, they get on the next call. You know, people closely associate the value of something with how quickly they get results. We get, we get removals on inquiries the same day.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
A lot of people we can fund again if they have a completely clean profile. They're speaking to a funding manager in, in one Day. So, you know, speed loves success.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's impressive.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Or success love speed.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah, because there's a lot of these credit repair guys, but sometimes it takes months to see results, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. And again, man, just, just to dispel that, I mean, you have rights as a consumer in America. You can remove all these negative items for sure. God bless Dick Cheney's America. But at the same time, it's a credit report. You miss payments, you know how hard it is to miss payments. They're calling you seven different times, emailing you certified mail. So like, you miss payments, we can remove it. It's just going to take a little bit of time. Anyone who's what to look out for with credit repair scams, is anyone guaranteeing results or anyone with guaranteed timelines. Those are both, you know, FTC violations and also just not true. But there's so many cool things you could do. Like for example, we've started with FCRA violations. Like let's say you have a repo reporting on your reporter bankruptcy. We actually now send it off to attorneys to where they'll spot if there's a violation there. You would even get money back for the violation. You get, you know, we've had people get a thousand, $2,000 because they did the wrong date on their bankruptcy. So the bankruptcy gets removed and they get a check for 2,000 bucks.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Interesting.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
There's even some crazy cases. You know, again, these are very, very rare. But people get a hundred thousand dollars for, you know, the incorrect identity, someone else's information purporting in their report. You have all these things through the, you know, the FCRA that are protecting consumers. And if you spot that you bring an attorney, they'll just settle. They'll write you the check for, you know, from either, from $500 all the way up to 100,000. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Do you need an 800 to get good funding?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yes, yes.

In business, I'm always trying to get the best outcome for the best price. So it's kind of crazy. I haven't looked at my life insurance in years. I don't even know if what I'm paying is competitive or if I have enough coverage. With how things have changed. That's why I started looking into select quote. Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
you can get it with 750, Sean, but I'd say you get it with 720. I'd say it's more about the strength. So again, I can go down to Fremont by the way. By the way, that area is horrifying lately. If I go to Fremont and steal, you know, do a survey and like, oh, what's your social, what's your information? And, and then get their information and open up, like create a synthetic credit profile in their name with a bunch of credit cards, right?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It's a lot more difficult to do that with real estate or with cars. Right. So if you have that on your credit score, you're a lot more solid. You're like, all right, that person didn't identity theft their way into a house or a car so you can have a 720. You have a mortgage on their car. Like, all right. Because again, what they. At the end of the day, they just want to make sure that you're not identity theft.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Got it.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And that's why I pay $6,000 a month for Lexus Nexus, too. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That much?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I didn't know that.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
The only people that have it are, like, banks, private investigators, and myself.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Holy crap.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it was.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Most people pay for, like, credit, karma or experience.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. And then that's good to check your credit. But again, like, what the bank's risk is if they give you lending and you're not who you say you are. So what I go in is I will pull their Lexus Nexus, which, again, I told you, you know, before we started, I pull your. Your height, your weight, your mom, your dad, any LLC you're attached to, any tax liens you have, anyone you're related to. And it's actually saved me from a lot of, you know, you know, people have been considered doing business with. I'm like, let me look at their past. And then you find some. It's ever everything. It's your life on a document.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's smart.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
People out quick.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. But a practical use is, like, people will come to us all the time, and they'll be, oh, I work with someone else. I didn't get any funding. We. This guy, I think his name was Mario, and he had 780, great score for out of Boston. And he's like, all this funny. It doesn't work, you know, you know, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, all right, I don't get it either, because you have a 70 credit score. And I pulled his Lexus Nexus. Like, Mario, who's. I think his name is Jameson or whatever. He's like, oh, like, what? He's like, that's my business partner. I'm like, okay, what's up with him? He's like, oh, he died, like, six years ago. I'm like, okay, your company, according to LexisNexis, the. You know, the way that the bank verifies, your company is owned by a dead guy. So that's why you're not getting a dollar funding yeah, we fixed the articles of incorporation, we redid it, and then we got him the $150,000 for his fix and flip. So, you know, we just want to provide the most value possible to our customers.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. When you die, you're still on the hook for that credit bill.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, exactly. Especially student loans. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, really? Yeah. I didn't know that.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. They follow you, bro. It's crazy.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Student loan interests are crazy. Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Fortunately, I. You go to college?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I went, but I. My. Thank God my mom paid for it. Okay.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Where'd you go?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Rutgers.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Okay.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Jersey boys. The Camden campus or.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
No, no.
Capella University Narrator
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
No, New Brunswick. Where'd you go? You went to. Me.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I went to community college for a year and just dropped out.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, man. I was. I was. Sorry. I went for a year and a half. I went for a year in the city or upstate New York, moved to Manhattan. That was the deal with my parents. I'm gonna go to college in the city. And like, it was the. The. The. The first day of my fourth semester. So I did one more semester. I would have got an associates. And I'm sitting there, and it was a public speaking class with Carrie Ruff. And there's. There, all right, what do you want to get out of, you know, life? Whatever. And there's two people in front of me, and there's one guy, and he was like, I want to start an llc. And everyone's like, oh. The crowd went wild. And then the second girl was like, I want to make six figures.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It was 2016, and I'm like, I'm doing both of those things. So I just like. Well, I sat through the class, but I just went home that night and just, like, went on the site and just unenrolled, like, just clicked through all of them.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And then just never went back.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So you're already doing six figures in community college?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow. Yeah. So real estate stuff or was it.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, Yeah. I didn't get into credit until, you know, that was 28.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
So, yeah, start. Start off with real estate.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That transition makes sense, though, because you probably saw a lot of people struggling to get the loans they wanted to get.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I was more so renting apartments, so I didn't even get to the loan process. I was like, renting apartments like 22 year old NYU girls and, like, partying with them later.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Got it. Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
The. The New York Times call me the frat whisperer.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Damn.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You're in the New York Times? Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Like, completely blew up and that turned into a doc A documentary that was in that just got nominated for an Emmy, by the way.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
No way.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it's called Slumlord Millionaire. Check it out on Amazon Prime. And then that turned into a repost from Elon Musk. So. Really? Like, really, you know, you're living two
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
lives out here, spiraled out of control.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, all this real estate stuff keeps coming back like, dude, that was 10 years ago.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Damn. But so you've, you've turned the table around. You're living a. A wholesome life now, huh?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, I mean, it wasn't like I wasn't, you know, going. I. It wasn't going. I mean, look, there's a time and a place for everything. But, you know, real estate's tough because, you know, I meet people all the time. It's an unfortunate trap that a lot of people come go into. Young people, they're like, oh, I want to make money, I want to get into real estate. I'm like, there's so many better things you do being a real estate agent. Well, it's not even slow. I'd say it's too fast because you're. Yeah. Cuz you're in perfect competition. Meaning that you've no differentation over anybody else. You're doing the same job as everyone else. So that means if you miss one phone call, boom. I'm gonna go with another realtor.
SelectQuote Representative
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
There's so many.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, there's so many, man.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And it's just stats on like 80 of them. Don't even make a living or something. Yeah, something crazy.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I don't know. Yeah, I just see like all those people. Like, no, like, don't. Like again, I don't, I don't give advice because like, my brother always tries to give me advice. Like, I don't want that. I asked him first, do you want advice? Like, yes. I'm like, there's way better ways than if you want to just make money. Like, think about. Okay, I was talking to this girl last night, was like a daughter of one of my students. Yeah. And she's 17. She's like, I want to get into real estate. I'm like, okay. She's like, I want to get the real estate credit. I'm like, choose credit. She. I'm. She's like, why? I'm like, well, what if you want to go to a girls trip to Mexico, then say goodbye to your business because it's so location based.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So location freedom is a real thing.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It's very real, Bry. And we're from a laptop, man. It's it's unbelievable.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
It's the best lifestyle in my opinion. Yeah, I'd rather make less, but be able to go wherever I want. Right. And to be tired.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, man, I don't own a car, I don't own a watch. No pets, no kids. I'm just free, man.
SelectQuote Representative
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I mean, what do you spend your money on then? Because you're making almost a million a month right now.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Reinvesting in the business. I say my guilty pleasure is going courtside. I was courtside of the Lakers game last a couple of weeks ago. That was gangster.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Nice.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But yeah, just reinvesting the business, man. I'd say, you know, I'm sure you probably feel a similar way of. Did you have other ventures before this?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yes.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
What else did you try?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I tried E Commerce. Margins were too thin. I tried B2B sales.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Just slow process, slow cycle.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. You know, that's the beauty of that. I'm sure once you got momentum, you're like, oh, I need to keep pressing this button. And you move with urgency. Yeah, I was the same way I did, you know, seven or eight years in real estate to where when I found credit, I'm like, whoa, I can get paid off this. And then school came out and then AI is in our back pocket and then I have a really, you know, solid C suite of people. So my. I need to go as hard as possible for as long as possible. Make, make hay while the sun shines. Carry a big umbrella, you know, when it rains. Cuz like, I don't know how long this industry will be here.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But again, in the meantime, let me just print.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Absolutely. Yeah. Let's dive into school. Cuz Horosi actually pays you six figures a month, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
How did that happen?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
If you look at a bell curve of things, again, back to the real estate, like at one time, like, like the, the first two and a half people. Two and a half percent of people. And I would say you do, you're, you're on the, an innovator on YouTube. The first two and a half percent of people that do something, you're, you're, you're an innovator. And then, and then early majority and then late majority and then laggards, you know. You know, for example, late majority is like an Airbnb or getting the Amazon Automation or whatever. I saw school, I'm like, this is a brand new thing. I'm going to hit this as hard as possible because again, it's super new. That's when you make the most money.
SelectQuote Representative
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And I started in 2025 at $0 in recurring revenue or maybe I think I had one or two checkouts. So let's call it $1,000 in reoccurring revenue in 2025. And then the game I'm sort of playing, man, is that yeah, we're $800,000 a month, but we're also at 175 in recurring revenue. So we're, we're adding on at this point about $25,000 a month. So you just do the math. Okay. In a year, 25 times 12 is 300 G's. I'm at 175. So next year at this time if I'm at 475 in reoccurring revenue, that's through school, that's through.

so a lot of our affiliates do credit monitoring. Let's say everything changes, everything crashes. Okay, well I still have that 475 that's coming in. That's going to continue to trail off to find the next thing.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And that's a $50 million business by the way. What's that if you get to 4:75amonth?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Oh, that's good.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah, because you get a 10x multiple on MRR.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Nice.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So you're at least at 50 mil.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Cool.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's crazy.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It will it will be higher than that. Because what people don't realize about school is that it's not going to get smaller. It's like in the same way, you know, again, like if you were on tick tock in 2020, look at those megastars, those, those early, early adapters, how big they are now. You know, it will just morph into bigger things and get bigger and bigger and bigger.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
People will always need what you offer, I feel like.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Right.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Because finances is an issue with, for a lot of people in America. Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
One through six. Level one, we, we fix the credit. Negatives, late payments, collections, derogatories, bankruptcies. You're in check systems, maybe you can own a bank account. Okay, that's level one. Level two, we fix their credit or so. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Level one is fixing credit. Level two is building out the file. Let's say you've paid for everything, cash. You've never opened up a credit card before. Maybe you just don't have a lot on your credit. And that's the most overlooked thing I would say is building out your credit. Because like people come to me all the time, they're like, yo, I want a quarter million dollars. I'm like, yo, the only thing on your credit report is that you finance the Chipotle burrito bowl for $30. That's, those aren't comparable credit. So we need to build that out. And back to the ITIN that was talking about. Even if you don't have a social, we'll build out your credit to the itin. So all my people that don't have socials, you can still get access to the American credit system. Level 3 is non doc funding. Okay, let's get you some. You don't have to produce any tax returns. You know, let's get you some money so you can start that business. Level four is bank statement loans. You're doing more than 10 to 15,000amonth. That's where people like QuickBooks start to open up. They'll give you money.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Level five is tax term based loans. So let's say you're doing 2 million gross, not net, 2 million gross. They'll give you 20% of your growth.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So they'll give you $400,000 even if your net sucks.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, like a bank. You should go to your easier LSA form in Nevada. Yeah, I can give you a repro. You should go to Western Alliance.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh yeah, they're great.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Local credit union, they gave me 200 GS. No doc. Yeah, this is actually this Is. It's so funny. I pulled these cards. People have their amexes, all the. I'm like ugly credit card club. Right. This is like, this is heinous. Right. But it's $100,000.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I mean, that's a flex unknown bank with 100,000 limit.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. And I have $100,000 line of credit with that.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow. So you can do that because I did 15 last year, so they would give me 300.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
SelectQuote Representative
Holy crap.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, And I'll give you my bank. Obviously I'm not going to charge you. Just get in touch with the guy and. And you're also interest on that 8%. Oh, that's not bad.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. Because guys like us can make more than 8 cent a year and it's
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
better than the QuickBooks loan.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah, yeah. QuickBooks was like almost 15, I think.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'll put you in touch with my guy at Western alliance and they're gonna love it because you're actually a Vegas based business.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. So your recommendation is to work with local banks for people.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Depends. It depends on your industry, what you're doing. You know, for example, Wells Fargo likes real estate more. Bank of America, they like technical consulting. Citizens bank, they like, they like email marketing. So it really varies on what you're doing. But I know with, with digital marketing, with this, Western alliance would be the play.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Hell yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah. Because you're. Why, because you have bank statements, you're Nevada based and I have a banker there.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That makes sense. So that's level four, you said level.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
That's. Level five is tax term based loans and level six is SBA lending. I think with this point we've brought the numbers, either 38 or 39 people from the 500 credit scores to getting them a line of credit for $500,000 from the SBA.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So SBA is giving out money like that?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
They are, but it's a longer process. I'd rather just go through the bank, man. It's like they're asking for like your blood type.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Actually.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
No, no, no. But like everything about you, bro, and it's just like, it's a lot of documents. A lot of people don't have patience for it. So I'd rather, Instead of taking three months to get a $500,000 SBA, I'd rather take, you know, three weeks and get two lines of credit for 250.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. Because then you could pay that off and then get another one. And yeah, it's only a one time thing.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
You definitely get a UCC Yeah. I'm not a. I'm not a SBA expert. All the people in the comments will yell at me. But you get a ucc, which is essentially like a.
Capella University Narrator
More.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It's like a lean against your llc. But a UCC from the SBA is different from a UCC for a line of credit from a bank. So I think you can get. I've heard of people getting two or three SBA loans.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Really?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow. And the interest is low on those, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it's super low. But again, they're the highest default rates. And with Trump coming in, he's like, all right, we're gonna. We're gonna cut that off. We're gonna turn off that. That. Well. And so they're tightening up for sure, because there's. The default rate is so high.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. What's the most common reason people get denied for funding for credit cards, for all this stuff?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I'll give you, like, the five misconceptions that people shill online. That just, like, isn't true. And I think that will alleviate a lot. A lot of those questions. Number one, they have a virtual address. People online. Oh, you need a virtual address. That Information is from 2020. I work from home. You probably do some work from home. I've gotten access to $1.6 million. Never met anyone who's got more funny than me. And all the funding is for my home address.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow. They didn't actually care.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
No. Because I'll tell you, man, is when you have a virtual address, how it looks like on LexisNexis, the. The internal, you know, ranking for the bank is that. It will say. It will say. It's a yellow flag. And I'll say, address is attached to a post office. So do you really think you're doing a million, $2 million of revenue from a post office? Probably not. So that's level one, or that's. That's one thing. I'm going to try and remember them all 5. Virtual address. Don't do that. People going to be with authorized users. You get an authorized user on your credit profile, and it's. It's like nothing but authorized users, which, again, you don't actually have any of your own credit, so you're not going to be verifiable. That's not going to work. Age Corp. People are. Oh, buy an Age Corp. Again with that. You're not verifiable. There's no data points connecting to that. So don't get an Age Corp. That's just someone making money on You a trade line, right? Yeah. Trade law. No, no, sorry. Age Corp is you can buy like you form an LLC today. You know your LLC is zero days old. You can buy like an aged LLC that's been sitting around for three years. So. So it used to be. Okay, I have an LLC that's older. I can, I can get more funding. But again, it will show up as you're non verifiable. So level. Another one is build out your business credit. I've never built up my business credit, but I focus on my personal credit. Right. People, there's people showing online. Oh, you got to build your business credit, your job to people. Yeah. To be able with a 400 credit score, it's like, dude, you can't, you can't finance a pencil. It's like, why are you focusing on the business side? Yeah, so that's four and then five. Oh, here's another one. Lexus Nexus. A lot of people are telling them, yo, opt out and that, that again, truly like you won't be able to get anything. We're playing footsie down here.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, that's your foot.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
We're both like, you're six five, I'm six three. Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
So if that was the table.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, no, no, it's. It's all good, man. And, and the fifth thing is LexisNex is people tell mentors online, they go opt out and again then they can't verify you're a human being. So you're never like. The way to fix your license taxes is correct. The incorrect information on there never opt out of license.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
See a lot of people talking about that. Wow. So business credit score doesn't matter. That's interesting.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And what matters is the verification of are you who you say you are? But it really doesn't. Again, take it from me, I've gotten $1.6 million of funding. I'm aware of it. And I'd say if you're watching this, you want to do something to make your profile stronger. I'd go to experience small business. Buy the package, that's 199 a year and create a profile for your LLC. And all that information will syndicate the LexisNexis so that you're more verifiable. If there's no activity on your LLC for the last year, that starts to become a red flag for the banks.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's some gold advice. Yeah. What's the most you've seen someone get other than you in business?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Funding and combined?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I mean, people just like lie. You know, so people have told me they've gotten a million. I haven't seen it. They told me they've gotten 800,000. And again, I don't need more funding. I just do it to be my own, my own client first. Right. To just pave the path forward. So I've seen people get 800, see people get a million. And again, that's not overnight. That's, you know, probably a year. Yeah, A couple years of raising limits, stuff like that.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I think 100k is realistic for most people, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. Getting 100k. If you're a new LLC, you can still get 100k funding with a good credit score. 100,000. 0%.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Which is huge for a first time business. Yeah. Kick things off, gets you off the
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
ground, gets you running.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
For me, it covered the podcast equipment, the editors for a year.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Right.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Helped me scale this thing. Yeah, 100, man. You just got to use it, right? That's where people mess up, I think. Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And it's the amount of people, Sean, that I help that are financing their business with a personal credit card. I tell them it's like, oh, like you max it out, you know, you don't get paid on time, whatever. Their score goes down. They can't get more debt because they have high utilization. All we're doing is remove that personal debt from the personal side of the business side. And the issue with using personal credit cards is you can't even write off the interest. It's not tax deductible. Yeah, no.
Oregon Lottery Announcer
Damn.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah, I didn't know.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It's also just like not, you know, compliant from an accounting perspective. I put everything on business and even if it's a personal expense, I just mark it as personal.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That makes sense. Have you ever liquidated your credit cards?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I have, yeah. We have people in our community that will liquidate cards for the people, trusted sources. Because you don't want to have someone liquidate and they just run off. Right.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
And they take like 2% or something.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, something, something like that. Two, 3%. And it's a job I wouldn't want to. Still thankless.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
It's risky, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Thankless work. I mean, think about it, man. It's. Let's say you liquidate. Let's say you liquidate 10 cards for $100,000. Okay. That means your gross income is a million bucks. It's good for vanity. Oh, I made a million dollars. But your net ON that is 30 GS. And now you're, you're thinking about your tax liability. You're definitely on the IRS's, you know. You know, vision board. Yeah. So, people. Oh, you should start a liquidation. I'm like, no, it's all it takes is one guy to charge back on your money, and then you just. There goes all your profits. But we do have people that liquidate in our community, God bless them. And I've. I liquidate my. Myself, my own cards because I have so much money coming through my processors. I can liquidate a card fairly easily.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Sense. Yeah. If you have a solid plan in place to make the money back quick, I guess it makes sense, right?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it can. Or if you need money for a closing or you need money to buy a business or, you know, I mean, I don't know why people have cash on Instagram. Like, if I see you flexing cash on Instagram, like, all right, you're poor.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I'm never doing that again.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, you did it when I was younger and dumber in LA and.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Right.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Got robbed the next day.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah. It's like, when you flex cash, the only thing I can think of is going to the casino or going to the strip club. Other than that, why do you need
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
cash next to a target? There's so many robberies.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Can you tell me, Is there something I'm missing here?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
No, I hate having cash. Yeah. I'll have, like, 10k cash, just in case I need it for rent.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And I call them poor intentionally, because broke is temporary. If you're flexing cash, you are a poor person.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Because that's forever.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
It's losing so much.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It's a mindset.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. Cash is the worst thing you could do.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Anyway, inflation and interest these days, but
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
just flexing online, I'm like. I don't know. I never really understood it.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. It's a phase, I think, for younger people trying to fit in China. Like, you never do that at all.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
A little bit. No, I definitely went through it. You know, what I always do is you actually buy money from the US Treasury. Like, uncut.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Uncut sheets.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Cool.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Flex.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it's cool. You can get it in 1, twos, fives, tens. I think to get. I think there's a. Like a little markup. So if you. Because, again, there's still the value of the money.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Right.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
So if I was going to get $3,000, I think it would cost, like, 4,000 bucks.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That makes sense.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But I actually said some art delivered to my apartment where, for the background, she used sheets of money.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Is this. Is this fake? Like, no, you touch it like, oh, that's real.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Can you use it?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it's real money. You have to cut it off the sheet.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's cool. How many points do you have?
SelectQuote Representative
Right now?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I fly all my guys out, so not very, very much. I'm not a points guy. The travel act, there's a guy in my community. So every Monday in Inner circle, we have a guy who shows how to fly for free.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Every Tuesday we show you how to get the best virtual talent. And again, there's 190 million people in the Philippines. By the way, what is your nationality?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I'm half Chinese, half Irish.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Okay.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
What a combo.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Combo.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Where did the height come from?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Irish, my dot. Six, five.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
That's rare.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It was only one Irish NBA player ever.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Who is it?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
His name was Pat Burke.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
What a fun fact.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Feel like that. He's like a seven foot tall, just green jolly giant. Pat Burke played one year, I think for the Suns. That's some ball. Ball knowledge right there.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
There's only been three Chinese, I think Jeremy Lynn, Yao Ming, and one other guy.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Jeremy Lin, Yao Ming and one of the. Yeah, Again, we're just full of stories today. I have podcast burn. I've talked about business credit so much. We can just fucking talk, man. NBA's, bro. Yeah, bro. I can still dunk. Can you dunk? You should be able to. Okay, good.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
If I couldn't, that'd be a disgrace.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, I'd be kind of sad. That's like my barometer of health. Like, if I can't dunk, I'm doing something wrong. But actually in high school, believe it or not, I grew up three hours outside of the city and I actually grew up with Jim for debt.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
No way.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like a couple of towns over. You know, he was years older than me, but I got another story on that too. But we'll save that. But anyway, senior, junior year of High School, 2011, 2012. We're like, yo, we're gonna see Jimmer in the city. It was one of my first times in the city.
SelectQuote Representative
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And so we got tickets, we came down and before the game, there's this buzz about this guy. And it was Kings versus the Knicks. It was. So we went down there and all the buzz was Jeremy Lynn. So me and my boy, Kevin LeClaire, shout out, Kev. We saw Jeremy Lynn. We were like 10 rows back, snuck out of school, went down to the the Garden. Core memory for sure. And insanity Lynn. Sanity, bro. So saw live and we were wearing linsanity masks. And again, you're in high school. We bought the tickets for, like, 50 bucks. They're offering us 500. They're the highest tickets in town. We almost took the deal. Or $500.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's a lot as a high schooler.
SelectQuote Representative
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Thank God we didn't. But as we were there and people were trying to buy our tickets, we were wearing Jeremy Lynn signs or Jeremy Lynn masks, and we got under the COVID of the New York Times, like, in the sports section.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And this is really dating myself. But, like, we snuck out. Like, I got in trouble. My parents like all that. Yeah. Everyone was, like, the buzz in, like, my hometown of a thousand people. Like, yo, Evan and Kevin went to the. The Knicks game. Like, I got in trouble because I was in the COVID of the New York Times in the sports section. Not the. Not the main section, but it was
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
a flex back then to be in the New York Times.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
I feel like I'm in twice now. Frat whisper, you know?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Now you'll get into credit funding.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Three times a time.
Oregon Lottery Announcer
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You an ex fan?
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
No, I'm a Celtics fan, believe it or not. Yeah. Yeah. But again, business is my sport. I'm not, like, hardcore. Like, I don't want to put my fate as a man and some other man, you know, I have my own destiny.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
But.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
But, yeah, I grew up in upstate New York, so, like, I just went to Macy's with. Oh, you grew up watching the Nets. That was a. That was a good era.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
New Jersey Nets.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Let's say you went to Brooklyn. I was.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
You got to add Richard. Richard Jefferson to your dream guest.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
That's a. I've been on his show.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Okay. Oh, really?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay. So in Shannon Fry.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Those guys are dope. But, yeah, I just remember. I remember being, like, 4 years old. Macy's, my mom's. Like, all right, like, what do you want? Do you want a Knicks? Like, I didn't even know what it was. It was blue or green. I like green, you know? So I grabbed the Celtics jersey and Celtics went. Ever since.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Jalen might leave next season.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Jalen Brown. Yeah, yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
It's all good. It's all good. Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
He's very. He's brilliant, by the way.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah. As long as you update them, you're fine.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
They're saying they're going to trade Giannis for Jalen Brown, though. Wow. So you might have Giannis next season.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
It's a lot of cash.
Oregon Lottery Announcer
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
NBA money, baby.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You know how it is. Your core side. Yeah, bro. 10, 20K.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
You got. You gotta go, man. It's unreal.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You meet some good people, though. It's probably worth it.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, J.C. honestly, it's good for Jay Shetty. That was with him. I was right next to the lead in. What's that? Jonah Hill skateboarding movie.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I don't know that one.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Well, not dog town, mid-90s.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Sitting right next to him. You know, I was talking with Danny Green, like, a lot of it. Yeah, that was gonna be a really good move for you, bro. And also, it's like, there's. If you want a boat, you know, if you want a nice boat, you can rent one. If you want a car, you can lease one. If you want a fat ass, you can buy it. You know, like, courtside is kind of aura. Like, I. The way people responded to it. People, really. And it was LeBron, too. Yeah, dude, we've been watching LeBron our whole lives. Go spend ten GS. Go by yourself. Sit in the court next year and just be next to LeBron.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Oh, you went solo Dolo. Yeah. Wow.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
No, girl, no.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Okay.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it was actually. It was actually a flex. There's a. There's a. There's a company I used to work with, and I found out they were going, yeah, and they're all up in the rafters. They're all up in the, you know, whatever. And the corporate suite. And I didn't tell anyone.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
I'm like, I want to go to
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
a Lakers game, too.
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
Yeah.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
And I went down there. They're all looking for Will Ferrell. They're. Oh, my God, there's Evan. Like, hey, guys, have fun being broke?
Sean Kelly (Interviewer/Host)
You know, Flex on them.
Evan (Credit Funding Expert)
Yeah, it was. It worked out perfectly.
