Absolutely. How long you been doing the content? The poker content?

Actually trying for like five to six years. I've been playing since I was 14.

So like over 10 years for sure. But actually trying on the YouTube channel for like five years.

And did it take off the first year?

[Wolfgang]

No, it. After three years I still wasn't making more than like 500amonth.

And now it's, it's pretty good. It's very good. But in the first three years it was all setting myself up. Like, I think after like 10 videos, I didn't have more than 100 views per video.

So what was that breakthrough video for you?

[Wolfgang]

So I. I did a. A larger video. I played 2:5 at Lake Elsinore in California and I ran up a decent stack and ended up getting like 100k views. But then YouTube was like, yo, that's a violation of our terms and services. We're gonna take your video entirely down after you got the most amount of views you ever got and the most amount of subs you ever got.

[Wolfgang]

Took it.

What was the reason, though?

[Wolfgang]

No reason. I appealed it. They said no.

[Wolfgang]

So that video is down, but that got me a lot of subs. And it kind of like started my channel. Then Covid hit and I did nothing. Covid? Because of, like, health concerns and all that kind of stuff.

Yeah.

[Wolfgang]

And so I was like, no, I'm not going to play during COVID Nine months I didn't play. And then after Covid, we just went for it again.

And back then it was like, kind of looked down on, I guess, to film at the table. Right. Like, you kind of were the first batch of people doing it.

It's more like, it's not like I, I need the help to get to that point. It's like I've put in all the work to play these massive games. So why am I giving you a portion of all the work I've done in the last five years to get to this point? Right. When I play like 100, 200, a lot of people think like, hey, let me hedge a little bit in case I lose big. But I'm thinking like I've been doing this for five years, I'm confident in myself. If I lose, so be it. But like if I win, I want all the glory facts.

I also feel like the psychology of it is different. Like if you are playing with someone else's money, you're probably playing a little differently.

[Wolfgang]

Yeah, maybe I play a little bit looser, so some people criticize me for playing a little bit too tight. But at the end of the day, if you see my year end results, the last four years have always won nice. So yeah, maybe I play a little bit tight. But in these big games, like sometimes you have to play tight and you'll eke out of profit. I have a good coach, I have a good win rate. And so when I'm playing massive, like maybe five to 10 times a year when 90 of my sessions are 2 5, okay. I'm playing bigger. Like I'm playing 100, 200. Let me play a little bit tighter. Let me, let me try to get those edges, you know.
