So 25, 30 years ago, I started to study. I was hired to study the health benefits of a plant. You may know about it. Plymouth Lake. Blue green algae.

And one thing leaning to another, trying to understand how it was working. I discovered that it was working by triggering the release of stem cells from the bone marrow. I mean, it's a big debate if you want, but if I, if I put that into the greater context. 20 Some years ago, in the early days of stem cell research, the idea is that if you inject stem cells, they will behave like stem cells, meaning they will go into your organs and tissues and actually repair. But we know today that not. This is not what is happening. When you inject stem cells, they don't survive into your body. They die fairly quickly. But. But that in this process of cellular death, they release tons of growth factors and compounds that actually stimulate your own ability to repair. So the. The common denominator is that it still depends on your own ability to repair.

Yeah.
Dr. Patrick McGeer
So if you coupled the two, if you couple an injection with our product, which releases your own stem cells, this is when we see, even in a study that we're doing right now on heart disease, that's. That's where we get the best benefit. But if you wanted to look. Look at it from a distance, the difference between a daily release of your own stem cells over time. Let's say do two capsules twice a day for six months, then that is now, what, 3, 3 billion of your own stem cells. So suddenly, like, it starts to become of a magnitude that cumulatively, I believe, is superior to injection. But we're doing studies now to actually quantify it and show it.

That'd be impressive because that was always the biggest drawback for me. You know, you got to fly to some country, you got to get injected. It's pretty expensive, you know, but this seems more easily accessible.

There you go. So it's happening. So you were at this inflection point like this threshold right now where you start to not have enough stem cells to handle the excessive things. Release. So the idea. So originally, if you look at the whole science of stem cells, what matters most is how many do you have in your bloodstream? I'm talking here hundreds of studies in the scientific literature like this is very, very clear. More stem cells in circulation you can repair better. But it happens that you get people just like with stem cell injection. They get an injection and they come back and they say, I haven't seen anything. So one of the main obstacles is just once they are released, they need to. They need to be able to see where in the body there's a need for repair. So what will kind of dumb them down like. Like deafen them is systemic inflammation, because the signal for repair is, like, everywhere in your blood. We're using a lot of AI on. Well, actually we do so a lot of AI in all the messaging, but I. I am using a lot of AI. Like, I'm working on a book now for my second book for about what 10 years.

But I now decided, like I have to sit down and really write it because that information is novel and nobody else talks about it, which is the fact that the, that decline in the number of stem cells in circulation and stem cell function is actually the fundamental cause of aging and disease formation. We hear inflammation, we hear free radicals, we hear mitochondrial dysfunction. I mean, I'm not saying that they're not relevant. They are very relevant. But above all of them, the fundamental cause of aging is that decline in number of stem cells. So as I'm diving back into the scientific literature now with AI, I mean, I'm doing in a week what I normally would have taken six months of reading the scientific literature. It's amazing. So I'm using it a lot for that and identification of potential new plants that would have an effect on stem cells.

So theoretically, if you could keep your stem cell count really high, are you kind of reverse aging in a way?
Dr. Patrick McGeer
There is no doubt in my mind that if you take a 70 year old that is healthy, strong, still running marathons, and you compare that to, let's say a 30 year old that is already starting to struggle with, with their health, the main difference is that the 70 year old naturally just happened to have more stem cells in circulation. The range between somebody who has low stem cell and high stem cells in the blood can be 100 fold.

Wow, that's, it's fast.

It's a, like take your red blood cells, it's between 8 to 13,000 cells per, per, per microliter, I believe. But in any case, 8 to 13,000. So it's not even 2x with stem cells you can have a hundredfold difference.

So you look at society and we need to do this work. And that's, I, I'm, I want to get, do fundraising and start these big projects because I think it's going to reveal a phenomenon in medicine that right now is unseen. And yet it is probably the most relevant in medicine, which is the fact that how many stem cells you have determines your health in society. Those who have fewer stem cells are those who develop all the health problems. So if you simply allow them to release their own stem cells, they then you can live longer. Now the big question you just asked, how can you maintain more stem cells as you age from a longevity perspective? Right now, our product is it. So you just release every day more stem cells. But how can we make the bone marrow on its own to start to get stronger? Like when it converts from red marrow to yellow marrow as we age, how can we slow that down or even reconvert your bone marrow into red marrow? You just have various bones that all together contain your bone marrow. As an adult, it's your pelvis, it's your sternum, your rib cage, your skull. Pretty much, yeah.

It's probably of everything that you would go to a hospital and get a treatment for. Stem cell injection is probably among your safest.

So the Question is, the terrain was not ready to, to, to really do something with that signaling. So the question is, how can we prepare the body in the best way possible to really get the full impact of that regenerative treatment? For sure, when, when we're, there is no question it will have changed medicine.

Yeah, that'd be exciting. Yeah. I got exosomes, which are different, right, than stem cells.
Dr. Patrick McGeer
Yes and no, because they're different. So historically they're completely different. A stem cell will go in your body, will repair and will regenerate organs and tissues. We know today that actually none of the stem cells that are injected survive. They die fairly quickly. When they die, they release all these exosomes and secretomes that boost your own repair system. So at the end of the day, a stem cell injection can be seen as a time release, delayed release exosome.

That makes sense.

Instead of getting them on one day, they slowly are secreted in your own body within the period of, let's say, three, four weeks.

Yeah, yeah.

I'm still very open minded even though it didn't work because I've heard so many stories, like life transformational stories. Rob Gronkowski, he was, he couldn't move. Like he had so many football injuries and now he's like a new man.

And, and, and for example, that, that was seen like in the heart, for example. It was studied. You inject stem cells, exosomes, you boost the repair power of the heart. Without a heart injury, you see zero impact on the heart really. But if you create a heart injury now, you see the repair process. So, so what you're talking about, if somebody has an actual injury, then the treatment gives you much better outcome. There's a physiology that is taking place in the body between stem cells, exosomes, secretomes and, and what an injury does in terms of signaling that really makes that treatment much, much more powerful. Which means then if you don't have a big injury, but you want to improve an area of your body, stress it before the injury. If you say, well, I have a little bit of a pain in my knee, but it's not that big of a deal, well go and work out on that knee a lot on one day you're not enduring it, but you're really like flaring up that little thing that you have and then you get that treatment now you will get probably.

Yeah, I never would have thought of that.

Yeah.

And you add our product because, because the impact of that treatment will matter more if you have more of your own repair system in the picture.

So we've, we've demonstrated in double blind, placebo controlled crossover studies that the ingredients in our product really act as stem cell mobilizer. We've started one on Parkinson. So on about 10 patients, Parkinson, between 40 and 80% recovery on the different parameters associated with Parkinson's. Sleep disturbance, tremor, balance, anxiety, depression, and so on. So, and we're starting one on COPD and, and liver, liver fibrosis. So we're choosing conditions for which medicine normally cannot do anything. You have copd, you get on oxygen. That's it. You just get on more oxygen until you die. And now we have cases where we see people dropping oxygen. Like this man that we just finished his case recently and now he's walking five kilometers a day. He's 85 right now. No, no oxygen, no. No remedy, no nothing. He's just a very normal, actually a Very healthy 85.

So the door is open for pretty much like, so seeing anything and everything. I have seen pretty much everything. The question is, is it going to do it for you? Because everybody is different. Everybody has a different terrain. There are multiple reasons for a problem, so sometimes you have to dig a little bit deeper to find other cause. But fundamentally, stem cells are your repair system.

Yeah. How do you measure your stem cell count?

Is that in a blood test?
Dr. Patrick McGeer
Usually it's a blood test. I mean, it's not available. I'm working right now to really bring this technology to like LabQuest and, and all these different labs. So anybody can go and count how many stem cells they have. There's some work to be done to validate the test and make it. Make it, like, feasible for that kind of application. But from a research standpoint, the technology is available for decades.

So it's a flow cytometer and you basically passed a sample of your blood in the machine. All the cells line up one behind the other. It goes in front of A laser. I'm simplifying it here. But as the laser is shown on, on these cells, there's a photosensitive plate behind that is going to identify what kind of cell that is that just passed in front of that laser. And it will in this way count which one are stem cells. And that's how it's done.

That's it. Okay. Yeah. Because I like measuring my before and afters when I do stuff, you know,

but, but, but when we talk about stem cells, it's hard. I mean, you count a super small population of cells that can be like 0.5% of your lymphocytes. So statistically the thing to measure is not so much the number of stem cells after taking the product or after an event. It's going to be your repair, like your range of motion, your grip strength after, after, like intense exertion. Or if it's your diabetes, it's your glycemia, your HbA1c, whatever it is you look at. Like on the hard study, we look at ejection fraction, how much blood is pumped out of the of the heart with each heartbeat. So you look at the factor that documents the efficacy, the efficiency of an organ or a function and you. And you target that.

the research here on, on. So we're documenting the heart. Parkinson, we want to add lung, we want to heart to add liver function. So this is a big thing right now completing in this research and more fundamental research not right now linked to a product, but more fundamental research counting the number of stem cells in population so that it can really become understood for what it is, which is a risk factor for longevity, probably the most relevant risk factor for longevity. And then is there something that we can do to help the bone marrow slow down or reconvert? Because if we do find this, it's going to be the biggest thing in longevity.
