Teresa and Steve look back at what would prove to be the last traditionally animated film from Disney to date. The Princess and The Frog was to be the triumphant return of traditional animation. Our duo discusses what happened, how the movie was received, and how much they liked it on the latest episode of Disney Vault Talk!

Teresa is BACK!!! She and Steve have watched the 2008 Disney animated film Bolt and now they’re gonna talk all about it. First though…they’ve got to catch up! E-mails, news about all the happenings at Disney, and the usual antics all lead into a fun discussion about a fun movie. This is BOLT.

Steve and Teresa count down their top ten favorite Disney TV shows. This episode was part of the GOLiverse marathon for CURE. Find out more about CURE by going to www.curechildhoodcancer.org and donate to the marathon before January 31 by going to www.geekoutonline.com/cure. Teresa and Steve discuss the movie that led to big changes for Disney and Pixar. In fact, this movie may have shaped the company as we know it today. The duo also fields some e-mails, tells you where to find some good cheese, and talks a little Rogue One. It’s The most magical podcast on the internet discussing Chicken Little!

Steve and Teresa discuss the 45th Disney animated feature – Home On The Range. Before they do that, there’s some discussion about the Disney Vault, a TON of Disney Watch news, and Teresa reviews TWO MOVIES AND A TV SHOW in less than five minutes. Steve and Teresa discuss one of the last 2-D animated films from Disney – Brother Bear. They read your e-mails first though, and talk a little bit about some news around the Disney-verse. Also, Steve has finally seen Jungle Book. Featured also in the show is some talk about Shamanism in Native American culture, and the fact that no bears were love slapped in this movie…which kind of ruins Disney continuity for bears when you think about it. This is Brother Bear.

It’s the 50th Epiversary of Disney Vault Talk. Steve and Teresa look back a little on a few favorite moments, take some e-mails about the 50th from the listeners, and then after a Disney Watch or two our intrepid duo tackle 2002’s Treasure Planet. This movie is Treasure Island in Space. In fact, you will learn that THAT was an actual working title. You will also learn that all that Steve knows about the classic Treasure Island he learned from The Muppets. Cyborgs, morphs, and goo goo dolls abound in this one. This is Treasure Planet.

Teresa and Steve dive into one of the favorite Disney movies of the 21st Century – Lilo & Stitch! Is this the most “real” Disney animated feature? How much Elvis is gonna get thrown in? How much does that Lego Cinderella’s Castle weigh? All of these questions and more are answered as Disney Vault Talk watches Lilo & Stitch.

Teresa and Steve take a look at what turns out to be a highly underrated if not unfortunately overlooked film in the Disney canon – ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE. The two also share thoughts on Mary Poppins, The Rocketeer, and Channing Tatum…if Steve can say his name correctly.

Teresa and Steve return with stories of Disney trips, movie viewings, and one of the greatest Disney movies of the early 21st century! It’s The Emperor’s New Groove on this episode of Disney Vault Talk. Quotes, impersonations, and a lot of laughs ensue as the dynamic duo of the most magical podcast in the GOLiverse are reunited to discuss one of Steve’s new favorite movies.
