DJ NicoTean is a Deep House, Progressive House and Deep Techno DJ based between Malta and Thailand, with nearly three decades of experience behind the decks. Since 1996, he has been dedicated to underground electronic music, developing a distinctive sound that combines deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms and melodic textures. His sets are carefully crafted journeys, balancing atmosphere, emotion and dancefloor energy while staying true to the roots of underground club culture. Influenced by the electronic music scenes of Berlin and Europe, NicoTean blends Deep House, Progressive House and Deep Techno into seamless performances that evolve naturally and create lasting connections with audiences. His approach focuses on musical storytelling, dynamic progression and a deep understanding of crowd energy developed through years of experience in clubs, festivals and underground events. As co-founder of Team Orange Malta and Deichrocker Bremen, he has been actively involved in promoting and supporting electronic music culture for many years. Throughout his career, he has performed at renowned venues across Europe and shared line-ups with respected artists from the international electronic music scene. Beyond the club environment, NicoTean has contributed to various radio projects, event concepts and residencies, continuously supporting authentic underground electronic music and emerging talent. In 2026, NicoTean celebrates 30 years of DJ culture — a milestone reflecting a lifelong passion for electronic music, dancefloor experiences and the global underground community.
