The Dallas Cowboys learned they couldn’t make the postseason yesterday afternoon and proceeded to go beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (who are very much in the playoff mix) last night. CeeDee Lamb is doing some serious narrative changing with the toughness he’s showing down the stretch. Mike McCarthy is making a final push to remain the head coach next season. Jourdan Lewis is continuing the best year of his career and making a strong case to get the biggest contract of his career. Cooper Rush had a career game. Micah Parsons and the rest of Mike Zimmer’s defense are in a groove. The season might be ‘over’ but the Dallas Cowboys refuse to play like it.
