It's time now for the Bob with Shoes and report brought to you. Infinity Bob, how we doing?
Don La Greca
Have we been waiting for this?
Alan Hahn
We have been.
Peter Rosenberg
I do. I enjoy your company.
Don La Greca
Really? Wow. Let's get out more.
Peter Rosenberg
Don't insult me. I have a very well rounded life that I'd like to include you, but you know what, I don't have to. I can move on just as easy.
Alan Hahn
By the way, well rounded.
Bob Wischusen
Do you just. Did you hear how quickly when Don said I have a well rounded life? How quickly Bob said do you do you though?
Peter Rosenberg
Well, just because I don't have five kids, just two.
Bob Wischusen
Well, that doesn't mean well rounded though.
Alan Hahn
Catch up. Don't.
Peter Rosenberg
I got a lot going on.
Alan Hahn
Be fruitful and multiple.
Peter Rosenberg
But I try to include Bob in my life now.
Don La Greca
You were smart. You started with the pair and then that limits the, you know that like that kind of cuts it off, limits the damage.
Bob Wischusen
Yeah. You guys did not see that as an option.
Alan Hahn
Listen.
Don La Greca
No, no, no. We had three individuals went for the fourth and went blamo right to five.
Bob Wischusen
Going for the fourth was a wild choice.
Peter Rosenberg
Too much blammo.
Bob Wischusen
That's the problem. Yeah, too much ammo.
Alan Hahn
Not that Bob wants the bread, but I mean, you know, blammo is ammo, right? So, so, so, Pablo. Less, less, less. We talked about a new jets head coach. Now at least the offensive side of the ball starting to take shape. Tanner Angstrom now is going to be the offensive coordinators. 42 years old, no real experience as one, but you know, comes from Detroit So certainly Glenn knows who he is. Is this like we were going, when we were talking about this, we kept saying, like, what were your options? It wasn't like Mike McCarthy was going to take a job as an OC this year. He, he's waiting to be a head coach somewhere else. Where else were you going to go in this, you know, when it comes to this hire? So the fact that they hired someone without experience can't really be that much surprising, is it?
Don La Greca
I don't know. I mean, I think also you go to the team that had success, right? Like you go to the cutting edge team, like the offense coordinator from that team, he ends up as a head coach. So you didn't think that his kind of right hand man wasn't going to end up as an offensive coordinator. That's how it works, right? Like a team that is, you know, everyone looks at as maybe the, you know, the prototype offense now, the most imaginative offense in the NFL or one of the few at the top of the pyramid. Yes. Like if you are the right hand man to that offensive coordinator and he gets a head coaching job, you're going to be somebody's offensive coordinator. So I think they went more with the innovation than they went with the experience. And really, if you look around the league, that is more where these teams go. They go young, they go innovation, they go forward thinking, they go disciple. Right? Like who was a McVeigh disciple, who was a LaFleur disciple. Those are the guys that get jobs. This guy's a Ben Johnson disciple and he was going to get a job. I don't think there's any question now.
Peter Rosenberg
Do you agree with people that because the system maybe doesn't suit Rodgers that this spells the end of Aaron Rodgers?
Don La Greca
I don't know. I mean, to me this is about a conversation with Aaron Rodgers and this is what I've been saying since the middle of the season, that if he were to continue to be the quarterback going forward, everything schematically about the offense had to change and evolve to kind of current day NFL football because it was kind of an offense that was stuck in the west coast past. And that's why it seemed like they struggled so much. I thought, you know, a smart coach told me that offenses today in the NFL, it's no longer, you know, hand the offense the playbook and it's like, all right boys, here are our plays and let's practice our plays and these are our plays and we're going to run our plays. That's the way football used to be. Now, with how much defenses have evolved, defensive athletes have gotten better. It's more conceptual now where you have your system and you look each week at the other team's defense and you're like, all right, what are their rules? When we do A, they do B, those are their rules. Okay, now, how do we change A, so that it puts their rules in conflict and we do something different every week. And the jets were doing something different every week. They weren't. They were running their plays, and teams would look at the field and see, oh, these are their plays, and then defend them pretty well. And so that's why, like, again, this is the new way of thinking. This is the younger, more forward thinking, more, you know, forward evolved offensive coach or strategy. Okay, Aaron, do you want to do that? Now, the one piece of evidence they would have to point to is that was kind of what he was doing in Green Bay before he got hurt and before he was winning MVPs, because that was the La Flores.
Peter Rosenberg
Right?
Don La Greca
Like, it's kind of that concept. And he came here and was like, I want to go back to what I was doing before the LeFlores. I want to show everybody we can still do, you know, kind of the old west coast stuff. Okay. No, didn't work. So now are you open to going back to the stuff that maybe you weren't a huge fan of, but had a lot of success running? Because that's the way it has to be now. And if he decides now, you know, that's just not for me. Okay, well, then you move on and someone else plays quarterback, I guess. But if he's open to that, I think we all saw when he was healthy and could throw the ball a little bit, he still has the ability to do it. I just think there's a philosophical conversation that has to take place.
Alan Hahn
And you consider the Lions put a lot into Jameer Gibbs, David Montgomery, like, they did use their running backs in many different ways as weapons and everything else. And I know, you know, obviously St. Brown was a huge part of the offense as well. Williams and his speed. Laporta, a great tight end, but still running game. And the Jet, I mean, I feel like the jets underrated in the backfield with Breece Hall, Braylon Allen, also Isaiah Davis is really good, too, that, you know, we saw him later in the season. There's a sense that with the jets become more of. And with the success of Saquon Barkley and what he's done and the. The running game almost seeming to make a comeback in the NFL, could the jets be set up to be able to play that way?
Don La Greca
They definitely are not in need of a running back. That will not be a position that you will see them address this 100%. You're right. Like, they have as young and talented, I think, a trio of running backs as any team in the league. And you're right about Isaiah Davis. That was something Jeff Oldbrook told me, you know, as the season evolved, especially when Breeze hall got hurt. So look, he was very quick to put the qualifier on it. Said, I am not calling isaiah Davis Christian McCaffrey, so don't think I'm going there. But he has some of those qualities, like some of the things that McCaffrey can do. You get him the ball in space, he shows a little bit of that DNA. So we're going to find out how good he is. We're going to give him the ball. And they gave him the ball and he looked pretty good. And so even after Breed Saul came back from being hurt, you saw the other two running backs. Isaiah Davis was no longer like the garbage time guy. At the end of the game, he would get like every fourth or fifth series he would be the guy they kept giving him playing time. So, yeah, I think they feel like they're really deep at that spot. And I think the other thing that helps them with this is you can make a very strong argument that they're good at four of the five spots on the offensive line, which certainly is music to not only a quarterback's ears, but a running back. Years they need a right tackle, they need depth, but they've got four starters. But I think right now you'd say yes, bring those four guys back left to right. So you arrive at right tackle and we'll, you know, we'll start with the foundation of those four. So, yeah, they should be a balanced offense. The run game should absolutely be a part of what they do next year.
Peter Rosenberg
Talking about shoes in his weekly spot here on Don Hahn and Rosenberg, any feeling for what you think is going to happen in the Super Bowl?
Don La Greca
I mean, what is this game? Feels like a toss up to me. I'm actually going to lean Eagles because I have been thinking all season that Kansas City, when they ran into the right opponent on the right Sunday, was vulnerable. Now we're down to the last one.
Peter Rosenberg
I think they could be had. I been saying it all year.
Alan Hahn
Maybe they're going to get hat in the Super Bowl.
Don La Greca
Yeah, like I think they can be had. And so, you know, I'm going to believe in the Saquon magic carpet ride. I'm going to believe that Saquon and those playmakers on offense will take enough off of Jalen hurts shoulders that I think they will be able to put, you know, 27 to 31 points on the board in this game. The question is, can you make sure the other team doesn't match you score for score? Because if they get into any kind of a track meet, if they get any kind of a shootout where I'm scoring your score and then I like the Chiefs because then I think, you know, Mahomes is impossible to stop once he gets into that kind of a rhythm. And it becomes like arena football. And now we're going back and forth. But yeah, I think their defense, I think their run game, I that combination, to me I think the Eagles win the game.
Bob Wischusen
How are you interested in this game? We've been having a bit of a debate. Allen loves the greatness. Don and I are sickened by A, the Eagles because they're the Eagles and then B, the Chiefs because we've had enough. What's your interest level for this game?
Don La Greca
Yeah, I would need to be calling this game to really care about.
Alan Hahn
Exactly.
Bob Wischusen
I love it. I love it. I love what you're saying.
Don La Greca
Yeah. Now look, I mean career dream, right? I mean I would call any two teams ever in the Super Bowl. I mean that's the, the pinnacle of broadcasting is to be the guy with the headset on calling this game. But from a rooting interest standpoint.
Alan Hahn
All right, I'm gonna give you two.
Don La Greca
Two options. Yeah, I'm gonna be in a lot of Box Bulls.
Alan Hahn
Two options on Sunday at 6:30. You got the Super bowl or you got Kraken versus Blue Jackets. What's on the main screen?
Don La Greca
Well, thank God for the dvr, but y'all probably lean super bowl in that scenario.
Peter Rosenberg
He didn't exactly really give it much of a chance.
Alan Hahn
I mean, no, I want to see how much he is not interested. Like would he just go anything hockey versus.
Don La Greca
I'll tell you, the Blue Jackets have been playing very well. They're right in the thick of the playoffs in the East. So you know, if it get. Let's put it this way, if, if the super bowl got to be a two score game, I'd flip over.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, I just saw that like awful announcing had an article flip over awful announcing that article.
Alan Hahn
I might check it. I might check in.
Peter Rosenberg
Only 175,000 people watched cracking sharks on ESPN. I'm like, oh, can you give us a fighting chance? I mean Cracking Sharks. It tends to be like, I love hockey, man, but I'm gonna go to bed.
Alan Hahn
All right? That much, you know.
Don La Greca
But Don, you know, like, there are, there are certain contractual boxes you have to check and everybody has to have an appearance. And so.
Peter Rosenberg
No, I'm just saying, like, if you tell me Rangers Bruins did 175, you know, there's a bit of an issue, but you know, Sharks cracking. Battling for lottery balls is not exactly something that's got me going nuts.
Don La Greca
Rangers Bruins Saturday afternoon drew like 1.1, 1.2 million for a regular season. February or January Saturday afternoon hockey game. So there's an audience.
Peter Rosenberg
All right.
Bob Wischusen
If, if, if Fish was doing a show. Oh, no, no, not in person because that's not even close.
Alan Hahn
I know Netflix is going to run.
Bob Wischusen
They're doing an HBO Max Fish Live concert. Are you doing this super bowl or the Fish Live concert?
Don La Greca
I would say then if the score of the super bowl got to eight, I would move. I'd be on Fish. If it's down to two, then I'm on. Then I'm on the.
Peter Rosenberg
It's not even a two score game.
Bob Wischusen
It's a two score game. Forget not even close.
Alan Hahn
It's on the phone. I'm just following on the gamecast on the phone 100%.

Taxact knows you probably don't need help filing taxes, but if you get.
Don La Greca
Stuck, we have live experts you can talk to.
Alan Hahn
And who knows, you could hit it off and become long term tax friends. Staying up late at Night talking about deductions, refunds, personal exemptions. Heck, you could even fall in love and create a little dependent of your own one day. Or they could just answer your filing questions.
Don La Greca
Tax Act. Let's get them over with.
Peter Rosenberg
In the mood for something crunchy, saucy, and boneless?
Bob Wischusen
Try Jack's new crispy boneless wings from Jack in the Box. Get them with honey garlic sriracha or smokeshow smoky barbecue sauce. Enjoy.
Peter Rosenberg
So much more. We were just talking about the, you know, the J.T. miller deal a little bit earlier on. I mean, you've been following, you know, the Rangers. It just seems like exactly what they need.
Bob Wischusen
Right.
Peter Rosenberg
We'll see if it's enough time for them take advantage of it this year. But I thought this was the deal to make. What did you think?
Don La Greca
Yeah, and because I think it's not just for this year exactly. Right. I mean, he's still. He's right in the prime of his career. He's a terrific player, and you got him for, I think, like, a pretty good price. So, yes, I'm totally on board with the Rangers bringing in J.T. miller. As you said, I do still think there is some DNA to this team that needs to be changed. Right. I don't think that, you know, like, look, they got old and expensive really, really fast, and they need that to change. But wherever they go, two, three, four years down the road, J.T. miller's still going to be a part of that. So even if they don't make the playoffs this year, to me, the deal still makes sense. This is like a rental for a guy that's, you know, hey, let's give it a shot this year. And he's going to be out the door.
Alan Hahn
That's what Dom was saying, too. It's like, you got them for a bunch of years, so it is another piece to build with instead of going through a rebuild. Hey, Bob. So enjoy the Puppy bowl and we'll text you if the game gets close.
Don La Greca
Okay, Good. Yeah, just keep me in the loop. Or. Or let's put it this way, I've seen a couple of my boxes. If, like, 5, 3, AFC east or AFC, NFC seems at least in the mix, let me know.
Alan Hahn
All right? You guys love it, man. All the best, Bob. We'll talk to you next week.
Don La Greca
See you.
Alan Hahn
All right. The Bob with shoes and report brought to you by Infinity Experience, the Infinity lineup at your Tri State retailer today.
Peter Rosenberg
Now, I'm a tough person to ask because I live in Central Jersey. There's a lot of Eagle fans There. So there's a lot of buzz around the super bowl, but here in New York, are you getting any kind of. Because I think a lot of people feel like, Bob, if you're a New York fan, you're a Giant fan. Obviously you hate the Eagles. And I'm sorry, I know you talk about the greatness. You just. I think you kind of just get tired of the Chiefs.
Bob Wischusen
Most people don't feel how Alan feels of like, oh, I can't see the greatness.
Peter Rosenberg
Michael does. There are people that. They'll take that side. But it's like, because we've been fortunate, right? I mean, we've seen. We've seen dynasties, we've seen runs. We just came off the Patriot run, like you say, oh, I love greatness. Well, you just witnessed greatness. You just witnessed the greatest quarterback.
Bob Wischusen
It went for decades.
Peter Rosenberg
You know, we've seen the great coach.
Alan Hahn
No, I.
Peter Rosenberg
We've seen it in the NBA. We've seen it like, you know, recently in baseball with the Yankees winning four championships in five years. It's not. It's not nothing new.
Alan Hahn
I can't argue with either one of you about this because I think you're right. What I've noticed as now we're in super bowl week, is there's no buzz. There's no buzz. And anybody you talk to or, you know, when they see you, they know you do sports. So it's always like, the who you got in the Super Bowl. No. And then when you try to get into a Super bowl conversation, there's just nothing there.
Bob Wischusen
I'm telling you.
Alan Hahn
And it's. People are watching out of the fact that it is a national holiday.
Bob Wischusen
The Super Bowl. The super bowl died. The super bowl died this year on that championship Sunday when the Commanders and Bills both lost. Those were the two stories that would have made the casual excited because trust me, guys, I was wearing my commander's gear everywhere. Everyone wanted to stop me to talk about Jaden Daniels. Everyone was so like, oh, my God, the kid's so good. This is so interesting. And then everyone else. I just want to see the Bills get a win. It would be so cool if the Bills. And then you get the two teams. The Eagles, third time there in eight years.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Bob Wischusen
And the Chiefs going for a three peat. It's just there's no judge there, isn't it?
Alan Hahn
While the NFL, which is built to have parity, yet it seems to be the same teams in a cycle because.
Peter Rosenberg
It'S built to have parity. But what's happened over the last few years is if you don't have an elite quarterback, your chances have been reduced to almost nothing.
Alan Hahn
Right.
Peter Rosenberg
And there's only a handful of really elite quarterbacks. When you look at Josh Allen. Josh Allen's an elite quarterback, Right. But just hasn't been able to get there. And he still not only has to get through. If Mahomes retired after the super bowl, he's still got to get through Lamar Jackson. But then that's really it, right? I mean, burrow. So you talk about four in the afc. There's really none in the NFC to that level. Right. So that. That's why the NFC's had a little bit of turnover, I guess. But you listen, Mahomes, you got. You got elite coach, you got elite quarterback. That's a difficult combination to upend. And so they're going to run it out. And we saw it with the Patriots and Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. You had the elite coach, you had the elite quarterback come get me. And there were a couple of times they were gotten by the Giants and the Eagles and the Chiefs, the one time by Cincinnati and Tampa, who also had an elite quarterback in Tom Brady. But that's what it's come down to, is give me the quarterback. If I have the quarterback and the coach come get me, try to knock me off.
Bob Wischusen
God, do I have to. Do I have to start acknowledging that Nick Sirianni is a good coach?
Peter Rosenberg
He's a. It's.
Bob Wischusen
I feel like I.
Alan Hahn
We're going to have Sal Palantonio on, I think, Thursday, and he's spent a lot of time with Sirianni. I like. You know, when you asked. I thought it was a great question that we asked Jeff Darlington, which is. Tell me about Patrick Mahomes.
Bob Wischusen
Right, right.
Alan Hahn
The guy like, you know, he's not a nozzle, is he? Because in some of the commercials and you get sick of it and he told you just not. He's incredible. Travis Kelsey. No, he's actually more normal now than he ever was. The more popular he's getting, the more normal he's getting. And I really want to hear. Because I trust Sal like no one like Sal, Pal. He keeps it real. He'll tell you. If Sirianni is like a guy where you're like, yeah, I don't really like that guy. He'd tell you.
Bob Wischusen
Listen beyond that, though, because he does annoy me. But again, maybe he's a great guy. I just think when I look at this Eagles team, don't get me wrong, they're very stout, right? Up front on both sides of the ball. Right. Which, by the way, you want to show me a great championship caliber football team. Show me a team that's stout up front both sides of the game, line of scrimmage, that's a Super bowl team. But, you know, they have great wide receivers. They added Saquon Barkley, their quarterback. Over the last couple of years, we've learned. We thought he was going to be like elite. Looks like he's not quite elite. He's a nice quarterback, a good quarterback. But Don, as good, as good and as talented as this team is, this coach makes them better. They're a well coached football team.
Don La Greca
They are.
Peter Rosenberg
They had a load of dysfunction last year.
Alan Hahn
Yes.
Peter Rosenberg
All right.
Alan Hahn
And he was early this year and he was in the middle of it.
Peter Rosenberg
Remember, he was in the middle of it. And he's the one coach that stuck around. Right. They changed that. They changed coordinators. So they obviously saw something in him that, hey, whatever we do, don't change that. Now, he might be a nozzle, he might have been the reason for that dysfunction, but there must be something in his coaching ability they felt like they had to keep. And you got an elite offensive line, you've got an elite defense. So the one thing that can compensate for the lack of quarterback play is having the ability to protect them. I'll never take anything away from Hertz and Saquon, but God, I see the protection that hurts gets. I see the holes that Saquon gets. I just say that's what makes that offense go. And if you win the battle of the line of scrimmage, which they do most games, it may not look pretty, but at the end of the day.
Alan Hahn
They find a way to win. And there is something compelling in playoff time, when your line is dominating, like there is something that's a lot more that you get into. It almost like fires you up when your line is physically dominating the other team.
Peter Rosenberg
And I know the Giants and Jets haven't had quarterbacks. They also haven't had great offensive lines either.
Alan Hahn
The last time the Giants won a Super bowl, it was great defensive lines, great offensive line.
Peter Rosenberg
And D line.
Alan Hahn
Yes. 800 now. 193776. Anthony's in the car. What's up, Ant?
Caller
I just want to say, Allen, when you and Bart were together, I love the show. I love this show. So I guess it's. I love them both. It's just different. And I'm learning to love them both. Jalen Brunson is out of his mind. He's plays like his absolute. Like, there's just no words for him. He's incredible. Die hard, Nick fan. I bleed orange and blue. But what I really called to say is really towards Don. I love you guys to death, but you guys keep saying, we've seen dynasties, we've seen the Patriots, we've seen the NBA, we've seen this. We've never seen a team win three Super Bowls in a row. You've never seen it.
Peter Rosenberg
So what? Never.
Bob Wischusen
Is it that huge difference?
Peter Rosenberg
Is it that big of a deal to make me want to care?
Alan Hahn
Yes. Why?
Peter Rosenberg
It doesn't.
Caller
Maybe not you, but I think that's something that gives people a rooting interest.
Peter Rosenberg
But it has people in New York.
Caller
Well, maybe it has for me. And on the other side, you want to see Saquon is a guy that's hard not to root for. I'll hang up and listen, guys.
Bob Wischusen
Well, I think we all agree with that about Saquon, But I'll tell you what makes it easy to not root for him. The. The jersey he's wearing makes it super easy for me to not root for.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, that's it, you know, all right, that's the semantics.
Bob Wischusen
The Patriots won in 01, 03, in 04. Then they won in 14, 16, and 18. So I'm supposed to be so much more amazed because there's no year off between.
Alan Hahn
Yes.
Bob Wischusen
I'm not.
Alan Hahn
It's so much harder.
Bob Wischusen
Why three out of four?
Alan Hahn
I think you can easily explain.
Peter Rosenberg
But wait a minute.
Alan Hahn
Because every single year for three. Three straight years, you didn't have any issues with the cap. You didn't have any issues with injuries, you didn't have any issues with players leaving. You had the perfect season three straight times. And it's so rare that the last time it happened was 25 years ago.
Peter Rosenberg
All right, but. But that's a big deal in any.
Alan Hahn
Sport, not just in the NFL, but it never happened in the NFL.
Peter Rosenberg
You're arguing that it's impressive. I don't disagree. It'd be very impressive. I still don't care. So you're trying to convince me to care about something I don't care about. I am not arguing that it's not impressive. It is certainly impressive. But maybe, maybe because I'm 57 years old, I saw the Yankees win three straight.
Alan Hahn
So you don't know what you see.
Peter Rosenberg
I saw the Islanders win four straight. I've seen the Bulls win three straight. So it's. It's never happened in the super bowl, but we've seen dominance. And hey, maybe. Maybe The Chiefs lose this and then they go back next year and win and then win and win four and five years. Is that make it any less that they didn't win three in a row? Hey, I'm not saying it's not impressive. I don't care anymore. I would rather see the Lions and the Bills, two teams that have never won. I'd be totally engaged and entertained by that.
Alan Hahn
I think when. Peter, when you said the super bowl died, I do think it's when the Lions lost. No offense, because I know that was your greatest day that you talk. They never won. Ever.
Bob Wischusen
No, it would have been dead.
Alan Hahn
Never, ever.
Bob Wischusen
It would.
Alan Hahn
Heartbreak Hotel, man. Like, this was. This was a. That's the team of destiny. And destiny said, no. Like, think about that. They were home, that one seed playing against a young team with a young quarterback. And he walked in the building and said, no, this is not your party. This is my party. And if you're a Lions fan.
Bob Wischusen
No, listen, let's rip your heart out.
Peter Rosenberg
Sad.
Bob Wischusen
You're right about what you're saying. It would have been a big deal to see Detroit. But, Don, hear me out. I'm not just being like Homer boy. I don't think here. The league, by the end of the year was fascinated by the Daniel story, and I think it would have carried.
Alan Hahn
The Lions are a historic franchise. They would have forever.
Don La Greca
No, no.
Peter Rosenberg
Lions are way more sexy, national story wise.
Alan Hahn
Oh, yeah? Yeah.
Bob Wischusen
But. Okay, let's call. Let's call the Lions a 10 in sexiness. Let's call the Commanders a 7 in sexiness.
Alan Hahn
Fair.
Bob Wischusen
The Eagles are a 2. I'm sorry.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't know.
Alan Hahn
You're right.
Don La Greca
I don't know.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't know how people outside of New York feel about the Eagles. I hate the Eagles. I'm sure they hate the Eagles in Dallas. I'm sure they hate the Eagles in Washington. I don't know if people in California.
Bob Wischusen
Oh, I think they're hit everywhere.
Peter Rosenberg
In Des Moines.
Alan Hahn
I don't know.
Bob Wischusen
Maybe.
Peter Rosenberg
Maybe Philadelphia is. Hey to the perception. But I don't know if it goes to that level, the way people hate on the Cowboys or the way that people hate on the Lakers.
Bob Wischusen
Team doesn't have a ton of sexiness. Their famous play is pushing each other's.
Peter Rosenberg
Asses into the end zone.
Bob Wischusen
It's just not a sexy.
Peter Rosenberg
But the thing.
Alan Hahn
But.
Peter Rosenberg
But the thing about Detroit is, to Alan's point, it's been forever for that team and the Commanders. There's a new field. They're going to get there. Bills but the lion since 1950, last year when they won their first playoff game in 30 years. They've had what, like three playoff wins since 1957? It's ridiculous. No, it would have been worse than the Browns. At least in my lifetime. I saw the Browns playing a couple of championship games.
Bob Wischusen
That's right. Shouts to Bernie. But no, all of those were major hits. Lions out. Bill's out. Commies out. Now we're left with this drek again.
Alan Hahn
So how do we feel? Super Bowls coming and there's no buzz. At least we don't think so. And it's a Super Bowl. It's supposed to be buzz. And we're going to have a Super bowl live show on Friday celebrating the big game. We can't even say Super Bowl. It's just the big game. And I'm going to say the big game is Nick Celtics on Saturday night.
Bob Wischusen
Oh, you're. You're jazzed up.
Alan Hahn
Where's there more buzz?
Bob Wischusen
Is that a 8:00 tip? 9:00?
Alan Hahn
It's a 8:30, so we're probably looking at 8:40 something by the time they actually throw the ball.
Bob Wischusen
All right, good, because I. I'm doing some work on the road that day. I should be in back in my room by like 10. So I'll get the second half.
Alan Hahn
We trash talked texting.
Bob Wischusen
Oh, I'm done.
Alan Hahn
Are you into that? Sure, sure.
Bob Wischusen
For a regular season game like this, no problem.
Alan Hahn
Look at you. Look at you patting me on the head. Oh, isn't that cute? This is a big game.
Bob Wischusen
No, you guys are pumped.
Alan Hahn
Wow, look at you. Thanks for listening to the Don Hahn and Rosenberg podcast.
Bob Wischusen
I didn't listen to anything you just said.
Alan Hahn

Dodge Shop 24 7@securitydodge.com during their President's Day sales event. Are you gonna wear like a. Are you gonna wear like commander's gear? Like, what are you gonna do? You gonna gear up? Big Jersey day.
Bob Wischusen
What? Friday?
Alan Hahn
Yeah. With a show. Nah, nah, we're not playing, man. What do you mean?
Bob Wischusen
My team's out.
Alan Hahn
But it's like you rep your team, rep your squad.
Bob Wischusen
Nah, my team is out, man. It's over.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, that's the time you want to show support. It's easy to show support when everything's going well.
Bob Wischusen
Not the super bowl weekend though. It's lame. The next week, sure. But like I'm not going to celebrate my team while they're not playing.
Peter Rosenberg
How about.
Alan Hahn
Well, how about the Celtics? Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
Rep for the big game the next day.
Alan Hahn
Celtics.
Bob Wischusen
Oh no.
Alan Hahn
Next night.
Bob Wischusen
Now you're having a conversation.
Alan Hahn
Yeah. All right.
Bob Wischusen
I'd consider that.
Alan Hahn
Okay.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, like, shorts, jersey.
Alan Hahn
Give me the full Larry Bird short shorts.
Bob Wischusen
I do have a. I have a. I have a.
Alan Hahn
You're a headband guy though, I bet, right? Oh, sure. Headband.
Bob Wischusen
Oh, all the time, every day. I do have a plethora of my. My Celtics jerseys. I could pick from would be. I have a Bird all star Mitchell Ness.
Alan Hahn
That's pretty good.
Bob Wischusen
I have the. I have a Reggie Lewis green Mitchell and Ness. I have my now Marcus Smart jersey.
Alan Hahn
Mac is my favorite. One of my favorite players, you know, me too.
Bob Wischusen
Why do you think I have the jersey?
Alan Hahn
No, I'm saying like.
Bob Wischusen
And then he's gone the next second.
Alan Hahn
I've legit told him many times like you how you would play in New York. So. Well, he's like, I know he knows. Drop. Just saying. I'm just saying.
Bob Wischusen
Don, you saw that, right?
Alan Hahn
Yeah. That was very good.
Bob Wischusen
It was just the one word.
Peter Rosenberg
I told him.
Bob Wischusen
That's all I did.
Alan Hahn
Yeah, I told him, hey, game time is brought to you by. Tell him I do Irish whiskey because when it's game time, it's telly time. I was just telling Rick Pitino this. Drop. Speaking of Rick Pitino, St. John's Marquette at the Garden tonight, 6:30. No, no, it's 12th ranked St. John's 11th ranked Marquette, 6:30 tip off. Look at that at MSG. The way it ought to be right it's stuff you dream about. So. And for St. John's it's been a hell of a year. So get caught up in it because we are going to be. As the college basketball season starts to heat up when we get into March, the Knicks also back in action because why not go back to back and why not just send them up, you know, to Canada to play after this slugfest yesterday?
Peter Rosenberg
Not good. What's the number on that they've got.
Alan Hahn
Good question. Right. Are they still. They still favored Raptors. Knicks coverage immediately following us right here on 8080 at 7 and of course on MSG at 7 as well. I'll be there with Bill Peto on the pregame show. Devils visit The Penguins at 7. Nets and the Rockets. So the Rockets also got to go back to back. That's at 7:30. And the Islanders take on the Golden Knights at UBS arena at 7:30. What a busy night of sports here in New York. So that's game time brought to a Telemore due the original triple distilled, triple blended, triple cast matured Irish whiskey. Be sure to grab a Tullamore Dew or try the new Tullamore Dew. Honey, during tonight's action, glasses up to enjoying Tullamore Dew responsibly.
Peter Rosenberg
Knicks are giving five and a half. So they're five and a half point favorite.
Alan Hahn
Well, you know the Raptors. Raptors 16 wins, but they won a lot lately.
Peter Rosenberg
Second of back to backs, Canada. It's. That's not an easy trip. It's a quick trip, you know, but.
Alan Hahn
It'S a pain in the neck.
Peter Rosenberg
It's a pain in the neck.
Alan Hahn
Like they left I think last night around like 11 from the garden just to get to the airport to get on the plane. Just go through customs. Like who knows what time they got there.
Peter Rosenberg
Probably maybe three.
Alan Hahn
Yeah. You taking the Raptors? Give me those five.
Peter Rosenberg
I mean they're not good, the Raptors.
Alan Hahn
No, but they're playing better lately though.
Peter Rosenberg
If I, if I had to bet it, I would probably bet the Raptors. I think the Knicks win the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being by less than five and a half.
Alan Hahn
Last I checked, RJ Barrett questionable. Mike Greenberg's gonna join us in the five o'clock hour. Greeny talking some super bowl and everything else. So you want to certainly stay tuned for that. But right now, may I introduce you all to an SUV where everything for every passenger feels just right.
