Oh, they made a mistake. I'm not buying into that. Guy's a really good coach. It's just there's a lot going on here and one of the things going on here is Malik Neighbors. He is their best offensive weapon and he is the security blanket for Jackson Dart, who everybody is high on. The question is, will he be ready right away? Will he be ready Week 1 Sunday Night Football, MetLife Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys. Well, Jordan, Ron on filled in for Rick D. Pietro this morning on dnr and he expects neighbors to Be ready for week one.

It's one thing for Malik Neighbors to be on the field, just do a little basic running. Like he could have just been running on the side, you know, maybe running some routes on the side. No, he's actually doing significant amount of, like, individual drills, which doesn't seem like much, but the fact that he's able to run routes and run them, like, looking pretty good. I'm not saying he's his normal explosive self. He's probably still a decent ways away from that. No limp. Like, running seemingly pain free pretty freely. Being able to run and cut. Like, we. We hadn't seen that. Right. The last time we saw him, the last weekend in May, we saw him and he was limping badly and his leg actually looked super stiff. So it was like one of those old guys, like, dragging his leg. And two months later, now not only is he running freely, he's running routes. So the fact that he's able to do that is a great sign. And I'd be very surprised at this point, barring any sort of setback with his rehab, if he. He's not ready for week one.

Now, here's what's interesting. Jordan said that in the morning, obviously before the Giants had taken the field. Neighbors rested today. Now, that's not a big deal.

Yeah, part of the plan.

[Don McGregor]

They said that's part of the plan. But it's. He still rested, meaning. All right, he looked great, but because he's still very early on in the process here, you're not going to put too many days in a row. You're going to have to rest. How does he feel? It's part of the plan because they probably planned on him being pretty sore putting. Doing that much activity for the first time in a long time. So now after the day off tomorrow, how do you feel? You feel 100% go back out there? Do you go halfway? Cause you still don't feel 100%. The process is still ongoing, so I'm not trying to knock down what Jordan said. He's a lot closer to it than me. He's actually in West Virginia. Apparently all of these media guys are all, like, hanging together because there's probably, you know, not. West Virginia is not exactly the biggest place on Earth.

Pat Leonard. They said Pat Leonard was gonna have a hard time getting an Uber. This from their little palatial estate they're staying at.

[Don McGregor]

Yeah, well, you're getting an Uber. You know, the Uber's probably coming from Pittsburgh, so you might have to wait a while for that. But that's the thing is that yeah, he looks great, but it's all about the recovery and now he rests. All right. How does he feel after he rests? So I love that Jordan is optimistic. I'm optimistic too, because everything that we're hearing is in the affirmative. But we're still very, very early in the process here and, and we're going to have to wait and see how it goes. I, I don't think it's necessary for him to be ready week one. I'd love it, but I don't want to rush him back and he's at 75% and affects his ability to perform the rest of the year. So if he comes back week to week three, but he's 100% week two, week three, we've got him all year. I'm good. The Giants first two games are beasts. You're home. You're home against the Dallas Cowboys. You never beat the Cowboys. You never win in primetime. Okay, so. And Dallas I think is going to be very good football team. They're going to improve from their 7 and 10 record last year. In my opinion. That's a tough one. I'd love to get it, but I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't, especially with Neighbors out. Then you're going to be in la. Now the Rams are going to be coming off the Australia trip, but they are going to get 10 days off. So they'll be a little well rested. But they're coming back from Australia. So maybe you catch the Rams at a good time. But heck, the Rams are favored to go to the super bowl. So you've got two Beasts to start. So I would not be surprised they start owing to and then the schedule softens up to where you should be two and two for week five at the Commanders. That's what I'm hoping for. So I want this team to be moving forward, playing meaningful games. Heck, never mind after Thanksgiving. I'd like to play some meaningful games after Halloween. It seems like the jets and Giants seasons have been over before. The kids are putting masks on and collecting candy. So I'd love to get him back for week one, but to me it's not the end all be all of their season. Jordan talked about Neighbors and Dart needing reps together.

Malik Neighbors has no time on task with Jackson Dart. They haven't spent any time together working together. Last summer the Giants prepared to play Russell Wilson as their starter. They took every snap together. They did everything together because Malik Neighbors and Russell Wilson are trying to get on the Same page. And Jackson, darts rookie. So they've spent none. He spent one week, the lead up to the game against the chargers and then 23 snaps working with Malik Neighbors. So the two of them working together, getting on the same page, getting their timing right is going to be important. And you see after practice, the first day, Jackson darts throwing after practice on the side, who's he throwing to? Malik Neighbors.

[Don McGregor]

Yeah, that's going to be very, very important. I think Neighbors is special and I think Dark can be special. So I don't think it's going to take a lot of time for them to kind of get going. But that's, that's another thing that you need to talk about getting ready for week one is what happens between now and week one. And that's to me, what you're going to be paying attention to. Camp sometimes could be a little boring. Preseason games, you're twiddling your thumbs. Will he play in any preseason games? Does he need to play in any preseason games? Can he play? And any preseason games. These are all the things that we have to wait and see on. And it's still very early in the process. So again, look good in camp rest day today, which was part of the plan. In fact, there's still a crowd watching me, not realizing, why am I not hearing this person talk anymore? Because we're no longer doing the wrestling program. We're doing the Don Hahn and Rosenberg vehicle. But very happy to be here, Don.

Don't worry. Things went swimmingly while you were gone.

It wasn't that. Come on. This is that. That's the Anthony brand, though. That's the brand. The name. Now, I will say this. I just heard you chatting about Malik Neighbors. I guess I don't want to be dubious because obviously everyone is hoping that Malik Neighbors is ready as early as humanly possible. I guess I'm just confused, Don. Like it's so rare that you see someone's timeline start as, like, hey, we hope to get them, like, by week six. And then within, like, a week of training camp. The expectation is now week one. Am I crazy, or is that, like, an unusual change in a direction that I'm not usually accustomed to see?

[Don McGregor]

The thing is, when you get these reports, is it. Is it people that examine him or. This is usually the timeline for players who suffered this injury. If it's the latter, then I'm not surprised because everybody's different. You know, a guy might come back week six, other guys come back week 10, other guys come back week one. You know, all I'm living in is in the. Now that he's out there. If he's not out there, Peter. And they're talking, oh, he might be back week one. I'd say, all right, they're full of it. But he's been out there. He had a scheduled rest day today, so no big deal. We'll see how he recovers from not actually playing or how he's felt after going out there and exercising for back to back days for the first time in a while. But he's out there, and it's the beginning of camp, and we got a long way to go before we get to opening day. So I'm with you. It did seem kind of odd, but the timeline, at least what you're seeing, kind of makes sense. No,

no, you're right. You're right on. On that. In that sense, it does make sense. But I'm just like, man, you just sort of base things on how you always see them historically, and that's just not how you generally see these things going. So listen, God bless me. The way that I would. Having met him and saying that I don't think he's a runner. If I'm seeing him running, I'm assuming he's being chased. Now, as you see anybody following close behind anybody else running in opposite direction,

it's a room full of wrestling fans, which means there's not a lot of scary people. Oh, maybe. Maybe they're suggesting maybe Obafemi Might have just shown up. That would be cool. I would love to get Obafemi on this show. Are you open? Let me ask you something, Don. Are you open to. I have an entire setup here. Not only do I have a Comrex, I have like multiple headsets. Like, if I could get cool guests who randomly show up here. You open. You open to it? I don't know. Would you be open to it?

Why not like proper a really? Dude, I gotta tell you, the board being used here is the coolest on the road board I have ever seen anyone using. It's Gorgeous Gorge, a Behringer board. It makes me want to become an engineer. That's how good a piece of equipment I'm looking at. So, yeah, we have options if people show up. I'm going to see if we can try to find and get someone on the show. It is. It is happening here, being in Minneapolis. And let me tell you, I looked from the second I got here to see if I saw any like blatant Prince like accoutrement, you know, from the second I got to Minneapolis. And so far I have not been bombarded with Prince the way I wanted to.

Well, you said yeah, because you wanted to be in the feels for Prince at this point. Said the only thing you want to feel is purple rain. Are you feeling purple rain?

[Peter Rosenberg]

I'm feeling rain. I got news for you. Oh, I'm feeling rain, baby, but I don't know if it's purple.

I have not seen Roman. I have not felt Roman Reigns. I have not felt purple rain. I've simply felt. Felt constant rain, you know.

Well, it's gorgeous here in New York for the first time in a few days. So that's the trade off, I guess. Now, since we're on the topic of wrestling, I want to just throw out a promotion for my brother because part of the WWE Radio is that they're actually going to be doing live play by play for a lot of these events. And both days of SummerSlam are going to be on Sirius XM with my brother doing, you know, a lot of the commentary during the course of those broadcasts. He's going to be doing some pre and post.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Well, your brother. Let me, let me, let me fill you in. Yeah, let me, let me fill you in. As far as I know your brother is hosting the kickoff show, which will air tomorrow from 5 to 6 to get you ready right before the show actually starts at 6. In addition to that, he's doing Busted open earlier in the day, so he's, he's stacked tomorrow. And then they're doing. They got a busted open post show that he's not hosting because he's too important for that now. Don. He's above, he's above these post show. He's Post show Michigan. That's not what your brother's doing anymore. No, but he will be doing. Oh, the great Becky lynch is walking by. But he will be doing another show live from the convention center on Sunday and then another kickoff show. It's. I got to tell you, it's pretty awesome to watch. You know, I've been watching your brother do this whole thing since longer than I've known you. And, and to see where he's at now has been pretty, pretty cool to see.

Now, how is wrestling play by play on the radio?

[Peter Rosenberg]

It's. There's almost no precedent for it.

[Don McGregor]

That's what I was going to ask. Is there, is there any precedent for it at all? So there's never been been any kind of live radio play by play of wrestling events anywhere.

[Peter Rosenberg]

So I think that would probably be inaccurate. Right. Like, I, I bet if we were to dig. They, they tried it very briefly in WWE. They did a thing like in the 90s where they like gave it a, it was a. They did something, I think with Jim Ross. I believe they like gave it a shot. But there's essentially Don. No real precedent to it happening. So I was talking to the play by play guy, my buddy Vic Joseph about it, about like how he's going to go about it, and he was, you know, trying to get any feedback and help he could from people because, yeah, there really isn't, there really isn't some sort of specific precedent, Don, on how to do it. Like normally when you're calling wrestling, everyone can see what's happening. So, like, laying out is a big part of it. It's going to be really interesting, I think, to see how they, how they do it as a, as a, as a radio and wrestling nerd. That's probably what I'm most excited about for this whole WWE radio thing is the idea that you can have play by Play on your. For your actual wrestling broadcast. And they're airing Raw and Smackdown on the channel as well every week. So it's pretty cool for nerds like myself.

[Don McGregor]

Well, if there's any precedent for it that I guess could be. Even though it's a different sport, but the same style would be. There had been radio play by play for boxing. Well, before there was television. Don Dunphy was doing play by play for boxing. And matter of fact, his play by play was used in. In Bull Durham, Not Bull Durham, Raging Bull. Like, they actually took the radio calls and put it in the movie. So I guess if you could do it for boxing, you could do it for wrestling. So I guess that would be the precedent that I would look back if I. If I were going to do play by play for wrestling, I would probably go back to those broadcasts and see how those were done.

[Peter Rosenberg]

That's a really good point because it is the closest you can get. But the thing is, you don't call action quite the same way in wrestling. Right. Like, there are just moments where things aren't happening in the same way. But, you know, that happens in boxing, too. There are full rounds in boxing, Don. We can go back and watch history, radio and television. I'm sure there are rounds when there's just not that much happening, so you have time to tell the story because they're just feeling each other out. So I think you're right. That probably. I think that probably is the best way to approach it.

[Don McGregor]

Now, before Peter joined us, we were talking about the Giants and Malik neighbors. The other bit of news that came out of Giants camp today, or just sound actually, was from Cam Scatter, but we had a chance to hear him post backflip, and he spoke about his backflip.

[Cam Scatter]

Yeah, I mean, obviously I do some dumb things here and there, you know, but I learned from it. You know, my coach talked to me and told me how he felt, and I learned from it. And will I go do that backflip again? Probably not. So, I mean, we live and we learn and, you know, we move on.

[Don McGregor]

Well, probably not.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Look at. Look at that. Yeah, but look at that. He's. He's doing the job. He's doing the work.

So does that mean no more backflips during games?

[Cam Scatter]

When gamecom comes around, we'll see what game time comes around. But right now we'll. We're focused on training, camping. We'll keep the backflip off the field for now.

Listen, I think you got to take it. But do you know what? It kind of feels like I'm trying to think of an example of someone, don't you?

It's kind of. Well, I guess the example I would use for the audience to relate to is Dave Rothenberg. It's like Dave's behavior as a Giant fan is deemed acceptable because he's out of his mind. It's like, well, that's Dave, you know? So when he pours salad dressing on his wife's laptop, forgive him. He's Dave. So it's kind of like that too. Like, yeah, I probably shouldn't do the back, but I'm stupid, you know, so you got to give me a break.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Because I break my wedding video because I'm a lunatic. That's what makes me charming.

[Don McGregor]

So, like Cam's trying to tell you is like, listen, don't judge me like a normal human being. Judge me as somebody. That's stupid.

[Peter Rosenberg]

I want to do backflip.

[Anthony Gargano]

But he also did it as a celebration for touchdowns. So I think what he's saying is, after you can't. I don't know what's going to happen after I celebrate. Because no one complained about the backflips when he was scoring touchdowns last year.

Yeah, but. But then he got hurt. We haven't seen him since he got hurt. Nobody cared about the backflips.

He's not thinking that far.

But at Fanatics Fest, having not seen him since that catastrophic injury and then not land just didn't hit right. But it'll probably hit right after a long touchdown run or after he's shown you that he's 100% back on the field. All right, how do you feel?

But like there's a generation of athletes who believe this just kind of comes with being a professional athlete. I, I do backflips. That's what I do. Like, to me I just think that you don't have to do them. It's not part of. You've already scored the touchdown. Like the celebration shouldn't matter, but it does matter.

Yeah. You got the job. Yes, like, like so, but, but I think to certain athletes that's part of it. I don't want to say it's an act. It's part of who he is. So one. One automatically comes with the other. So once he comes back to playing football, then that's what's going to come back, you know, Then that's just the way that it works.

We have one from Matt and he says, I'm a 50 year old Yankees and Giants fan with a 16 year old son. Poor kid has never seen a winner. Unfortunately, we really aren't basketball fans. Probably because the wife might leave if I didn't give her a couple of sports free months each year.

That said, we actually found ourselves watching the Knicks run with the same amount of anxiety we have when we watch the Yanks and the Giants and we could not be happier that they won. We still don't purport to be fans and wouldn't pose as such, but wanted to ask would we be frauds if we flaunted the win toward our Boston friends? We hate all things Boston sports and haven't had the upper hand since the 201112 Giants. Would love to be able to gloat, but does that make us frauds or does Boston hate, supersede fraudulence and give us a special dispensation?

Thought on this, but I have a thought. Can I just ask a question before you rule, please? My question is like, isn't this how fanship begins? Like to me the fraudulence is, are you guys gonna go through the whole thing and as you put it, you were as nervous as if it were the Yankees or the Giants. And now next year is gonna come and you're not going to be interested in the team again. Don, that's to me, it would be. To me it's more fraudulent if they don't care moving forward.

[Don McGregor]

See, this is such a great discussion point. If all of a sudden, before I rule, if now next year starts and they're just not interested anymore because they're not basketball fans. They just got caught up in the moment because they hadn't won in a long time. The city was into it. They got caught up in the fever. I'm sorry. Maybe there'll be a little excitement, you know, raising the banner, but games in October and November are not going to hit the same as the games against the San Antonio Spurs. Right. So they might not be into it. And now they go through and they're in the playoffs. They may not be as interested because they kind of been there, done that. They're not basketball fans. So I think just getting caught up in the moment is fine. It's fair. And I wouldn't call them frauds if they weren't into it next year because it's not the same if they win again. All right, well, they won again. Then they're done that. If they don't win, well, it's not as interesting. They're not basketball fans, so I can't hold them to fraud standard. But I'm going to rule on the original part. Can they gloat to Boston fans? I'm going to call fraud because if I'm a Celtic fan. Now you're a Celtic fan, Peter, but let's say you were from Boston and you were friends with this family. If all of a sudden they started gloating to. You wouldn't be like, shut up. You're not even a fan. I'm a fan of the Celtics. I watch every game. I live and die with the team. You didn't even care five minutes ago. Now you're gloating to me. No, no, you can't. Can't do that. If you're gloating to somebody who's also a casual, then. Then it's casual on casual crime. And it. Maybe it doesn't matter.

But. But you can't. You can't gloat to a fan. As a non fan, I call fraud.

I love what you've done. I've never been prouder of you as a judge. Because you're right. You're right. Casual on crack. Casuals, whatever. But you can't now all of a sudden pretend like you're in a. And also when people said they got into. On the run, my question always is, like, what phase of the run was it? Because it wasn't the first round. Right. It wasn't against Atlanta.

When did they get in? Like, after they beat Philly, I think after the conference finals and the finals.

You know, if I had to figure that. That's a great question, Peter. That's a great topic for like a dead.

When did the cat. If you're. If you're a casual. When did you get in? I start to say, I gotta watch.

I think it was after the game fell 4 win against the Cavs, blowout win. They're in the finals for the first time since 99. I think that's when it started. Because, remember, they had gone, you know, the conference final the year before, so it. And I didn't see the city. The city was excited, but not to that point. Not to that level. I think once you get to the finals and I Was probably right after the game four win the way they won't. That. That was probably the line where I think everybody was. If you weren't on by then, then you weren't getting on.

If you don't know me by now you will never, never, never, never know me. Anthony, what's the chance that our singing lined up? Because I have a whole second and a half to delay. Did we hit it?

It hasn't happened, so you obviously don. You can't rule on something that hasn't happened. But remember, we took to court a good friend, Mariska Hargitay, earlier in the year.

Because she was courtside of the Laker game. And then, of course, we know that Brunson and her are great friends and she's a big Knick fan and she was at a lot of the Knicks. She was on a float. The Brunson's invited her on a float for the championship parade. I now pose the question. If Mariska Hargitay shows up courtside of the Laker game again, is that fraudulent?

[Don McGregor]

Well, what is she doing? Is she just watching a game or jumping on down like a.

[Anthony Gargano]

She didn't have gear on, if I'm not mistaken, at that Laker game. Is even being courtside Celebrity row at the Laker game fraudulent?

[Don McGregor]

That's the question. Okay, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on. Let's make this official. Let's make this official. No, it's not. Dagostino, she's a woman of means. If she wants to sit there and watch a game courtside when she's in la, I'm not gonna deprive her of that. Now, if she's got Laker gear and jumping up and down when the Lakers score, then that would be a fraud. But I'm allowed to go to other events and Of a team that's not mine. Right. Peter's done that.

[Peter Rosenberg]

I'm gonna tell you this right now. You guys know, listen, I hope my TV show gets made. I hope it becomes a big success, and I hope to leave you all in the dust and move to Los Angeles.

If that were to happen, I. I just. Yeah. You guys know, if that were to happen, in all. In all seriousness, I would absolutely be like, a regular at Lakers and Dodgers games. And I. I don't think I'd ever be, like, pretend that, like, now in your 50s, you're not going to say you're a true fan, but I'm sure I'd still enjoy going.

You ain't going to a sofa like a big. You ain't going to ram Sofi games. I'll tell you that right now.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Well, no, no, yeah, you are, because it's a beaut. Unlike the. The hunk of tin that they have in our backyard, the Venetian block people Want to go to Sofi? Yeah, people want to.

[Anthony]

That.

[Peter Rosenberg]

That's the craziest thing, Anthony, because you're right. I would never be caught dead going to a random Giants or Jets game when we have to do that for our show. Well, we don't have to anymore. Thank God we're not in business with the Jets. But when we were and I had to go, I dreaded it. It was a waste of my Sunday. The pushback I would give is. And Don, I think I'm right here. I think Sofi is so dope that people like, do like going to random Rams games because it's a fun experience. So maybe.

[Don Hahn]

But.

[Peter Rosenberg]

But the one that I would definitely say I'd be going to is Lakers and.

[Anthony Gargano]

But you wouldn't be wearing Rams gear.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Why not?

[Don McGregor]

No, he wouldn't be wearing gear. And he'd be a fraud. If he were at a ramp, if he was at a Ram Jaguar game while the Commanders were playing, then that would be fraudulent.

[Anthony Gargano]

That's what I'm saying, Don.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Oh, yeah. Oh, oh, oh, yeah, you're right. No, sorry, I'm not doing that.

[Don McGregor]

But is he. Okay, here's what. But here's something that's very interesting. Is that just a football thing? Like could she go to a Laker game? And let's say also at a 10 o' clock tip, Knicks, Sacramento Blazers and she. And she's missing the game. I think one out of 82. You're good football. You can't miss one of 17. Every game is so vitally important. If she was at a Laker playoff game when the Knicks were playing a playoff game, that would be fraudulent. But you know, in a game in February, some random game, and she missed the Knick game to go to a Laker game rather than sit at the hotel and watch it on tv. I don't think that's fraud.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Fraudulent. Do you also, we have to be. We have. No, I don't. We have to be realistic too, about what these celebrities experiences are at games. Like when, when you're going as an invited guest who's sitting courtside.

[Anthony Gargano]

Right. I'm sure she's being asked, getting free.

[Peter Rosenberg]

You're being. You're getting free tickets. Then when you get there, see this? And this is what Don. This goes right back to our conversation yesterday. Okay. My friend Don says, do you want to go to a random Lightning game and sit in section 113, pay for beer and eat with your arms pushed up against someone else? I might rather go to Hooters. Hey, do you want to go to an NBA game, sit courtside and you eat and drink for free during every break in a little backstage club with other select, with celebrity types. It's a different, you have to admit,

it's a different, hey, listen here, here's the answer. Super bowl in Tampa with Don in regular seats. Lightning, Canadians. No. Dallas super bowl, go with Don to stars. Canucks in a suite.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Yes, that's exactly right.

Yeah.

So, like, that's why I can't, I can't blame Hargitay for saying, hey, I'm not going to watch the Kings, Knicks on MSG at home tonight. I got offered tickets to, to sit courtside, you know, to Lakers, Celtics and like, because, because frankly, the reason I, like, have enjoyed our time at MSG so much, even if I go to games that don't relate to and this, this is Rangers games. I've gone to Knicks games. Yeah, I enjoy it because the suite is a great time. It's a place to have a great meal, drink. It's just a social experience.

But here's the thing, we're up against it. I've got something to say about that. A caveat, if you want, Will. Oh. To what you just described. They'll be on Fox tomorrow and then wrap up the series on Sunday. So here's the caveat on the Harkitay stuff, right. And we all agree if she goes to a Laker game while the Knicks are playing in the regular season, considering all that comes with being courtside and being invited to a Laker game, you're not going to kill her. If the Knicks are playing at the same time in Sacramento against the Kings. Right. What, how would it hit? How would it be for her being Nick Superfan, if that's the night Brunson scores 100 and they're talking to all the celebrities, they obviously none of them would be in Sacramento say, but like all. Or what if the game were at the Garden? I don't know. Like how would, how would it be for her as Nick's superfan if one of the greatest events in the history of the franchise had taken place and she was at a Laker game? I'm still not going to call her a fraud. But how would that hit? They're interviewing all of the, the famous Knick fans. Where were you when Brunson hit 100? Oh, I was listening to it on the radio on 880 ESPN New York or, you know, I was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Hollywood watching it. I was hanging with Kevin James watch it. You know, and she's like, oh, I heard about it. I was at the Laker game courtside.

But okay. But now I don't want to ruin a good thing because you've, the setup here has been tremendous. But I, but I do have to throw this out.

The thing is about though, hockey and basketball, you can be a pretty hardcore fan and still miss a big moment. Like it can happen.

[Don McGregor]

No, it's okay to miss the big moment. But where were you all because.

Because I was on the set at csi.

Okay. It happens, right.

I was at the Laker game fair.

Or a football game. Yeah, yeah. Or a playoff one is pretty unacceptable as well. But like, yeah, you invite me to a football game at a time when the Washington Commanders still exist in this league. Now listen, let me. I suppose I could throw a caveat there too. You know, I never happened to me. Maybe the commanders are 2 and 14. And, and, and I'm just, just hear me out. Commanders are. I don't know if I'd say yes to this, but the commanders are 2 and 14. I'm still living in the D.C. area. And the Ravens are playing the Chiefs like fighting for home field position. Lamar versus Mahomes. And a friend says, want to go to the suite in Baltimore? Maybe at that stage you go, sure. I don't care. My team sucks. I'm out. Yeah, I want to see my homes play. I could probably give you a version of that and be okay with it.

Yeah.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Again, Don, it's all imaginary because I don't have that option anymore. I hate the stadium in our area. But like have you been to Baltimore for a game? It's terrific.

[Don McGregor]

But you hate the stadium in MetLife. But if you, for a Jet game, if you were invited to the green room and you, you're in a suite like. Well, even though we're not big fans. Oh.

[Peter Rosenberg]

And they're playing a meaningful game, they

[Don McGregor]

can take, they know how to take care of you there. I mean, when I was doing jets pre and post, they, they, they, they, they fed us. We would go to the green room before the pre game. Now they, they've got some really luxurious stuff there. So if it's a big, big game involving the jets, you might do it well.

[Peter Rosenberg]

But the, the double whammy is the hard thing that's hard to picture about that is the stadium stinks. And then you're also forced to pitch. Imagine a Jets game that mattered. Which, which since I've been here, Don. I mean, sorry, not since I've been here. Since I've been on the radio up here. That's been impossible to imagine like that there'd be a Jets game that matters. So maybe I would feel different if that were the case. And obviously I got no interest in a Giants game that matters.

[Don McGregor]

Now the only one that would have been if, let's say 2015 Todd Bowles first year jets win. They're in against Buffalo. If that game were at MetLife and the Commanders were playing a meaningless weeks, you know, 17 game. You might. You might have got. You might be there for that if it was in the green. You know, go to the green room and be in the suite for win and in game as opposed to sitting in your apartment watching a meaningless commander's game.

[Anthony]

Maybe.

[Peter Rosenberg]

Maybe. I just. I just have no interest in seeing Giants fans celebrate, you know? And I say I have lots of people in my life who are Giants fans.

What about saying the jet? I'm saying Jets, Bills.
