Yeah, man, I was one of those people two years ago. You know, Alex was there when we all first got to msg. I kind of feel like that was our class, right? Like Alex, you can tell when we first started working there, the RJ barrister, OBI toppins, Emmanuel Quickley's, Randall's. Like there was never like a special connection for that team, the we here Knicks, because you know, like they got us out of the doldrum. They got us out of the joke we were as a franchise and RJ Quickley were beloved in this, in this city, especially Quickley, you know, he was electric here. And RJ Barrett, you know, there's always a fondness for a guy that you take high in the draft and really have a belief in him. So trader for OG Anunoby. I mean a great player in Toronto, you know, and won the NBA championship with them even though he wasn't on the floor due to injury. So there was definitely lots of questions there, especially about his health and his ability to stay on the court. But for the most part, as a Knick, anytime he's on the court, the Knicks have a chance to win. I think. I don't know what the exact stat is, but I think he has like something like a 77% like win rate when he's on the court and starting. And like it's probably one of the top plus minuses in the history of the franchise because he's the true definition of a two way player. That was the trade that legitimately, ultimately for the first time, let me say I will never ever, ever distrust Leon Rose ever again. Like it was the definition of. You ever see that meme where like, you know, like Jesus is like holding a teddy bear and he has like a bigger teddy bear behind his back and the kids like, why are you taking my teddy bear? Like, yo, we have something great for you. If you just sort of trust me then OG Anunoby has been that you know how hard it is to have consideration as an NBA all Star when you're a third option on the team. Like it is. He's been unbelievable for the Knicks. He's, he's, I, I call him Diet Kawhi Leonard and the certain nights in the Garden. He looks like Kawhi. Absolutely. He's and same personality and everything, but I just think him and, and just it goes to show you that not a lot of players and teams, you can't go by the numbers. Like, he is such a. A chemistry and glue guy for that team that, like, you can look at the numbers and. And look at the highlights and just think he's good, but not until you see him every day. And what he brings as far as, like, shutting down other team's best players and hitting shots and being athletic enough to go and climb the mountain and dunk on whoever it is. Like, he's an unbelievable player. And I love me from RJ Barrett and Emmanuel Quickley, but when you have these trades like that, it has to go like this if you're gonna trade fan favorites. Like, the player you get back has to be fantastic. And I don't want it to sound so bad or be like a so loser. But, like, the guys you trade away kind of have to fall off a little bit. And unfortunately, RJ and Emmanuel Quickley haven't necessarily, you know, lit the world on fire in Toronto, even though they both got paid a ton of money. So you'll never hear Knicks fans comparing, complaining about what we gave up for RJ and Emmanuel Quickley. You'll never hear Knicks fans complain about what they gave up for Mikhail Bridges. Because the chemistry that this team has put together results in games like we saw last night, where they could play anybody, it seems like, and they have a fighting chance because they have the most clutch player in basketball and they have an identity about them that you got to kill them dead to beat them in an NBA basketball game. Because if it's any sort of coach and number 11 has the ball, it's over. Like, he is taking. He has a Derek Jeterness about him where it's like, if that dude is on the plate or has a chance to make a play to win the game, more than likely than not, he's gonna do it. And OG is a big part of that. So happy, happy trade anniversary to all the. The OG fans out there. And how about the Knicks guys? Let's go.
