Don Hahn
That sounds like heaven to me.
Podcast Host (Don Hahn or Rosenberg)
Listen live weekday afternoon starting at 3 on 8 80, ESPN, the ESPN New York app, and your smart speakers.
Don Hahn
Game time is brought to you by Telemardu Irish Whiskey. Because when it's game time, it's Charlie time.
Alan Hahn
That's well timed.
Peter Rosenberg
It's totally time.
Don Hahn
Diamondbacks are up five nothing on the Mets in the top of the four. Peterson didn't have it again. That's gonna be a talking point as we get closer.
Alan Hahn
He's still in the game, by the way.
Don Hahn
Gotta do it, man. Because Peralta didn't get you through five yesterday.
Alan Hahn
Six hits, five runs, four strikeouts in a walk. 57 pitches so far. Not good for the old era.
Don Hahn
But you know what? Because it's just 57 pitches, I need you to rest the bullpen. I need you to get through five.
Alan Hahn
Yep. You gotta own this.
Don Hahn
So we'll see if the Mets can eventually catch up here. The Yankees, they're going to be continue their series of the stadium versus the
Alan Hahn
A's at 7:05, Mets being no hit. Figured I'd throw that out there.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, but they're only down five zip.
Don Hahn
And it's only. And they haven't even batted in the first inning.
Alan Hahn
But you know what? You're welcome.
Don Hahn
Why?
Alan Hahn
Because I already said it.
Peter Rosenberg
So it's over.
Alan Hahn
So it's over.
Don Hahn
Yeah, but you can't say in the third.
Alan Hahn
I can if I want to see it end.
Don Hahn
I guess you don't want to see it. And you want to see him no hit.
Alan Hahn
Do I?
Don Hahn
Yeah. Yeah.
Alan Hahn
I can't see it. It's behind me. You guys can see it.
Don Hahn
Well, I don't know what to tell you.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, listen, Lindor doesn't have a hose. Huh?
Alan Hahn
Excuse me?
Don Hahn
I've never seen it.
Alan Hahn
What happened there? We were just talking about a no hitter.
Don Hahn
We lost. Don't.
Peter Rosenberg
Because he knows perfectly well I. No, listen. That's baseball terminology. He knows that. Yes.
Alan Hahn
Is it?
NHTSA Safety PSA Announcer
Yes.
Peter Rosenberg
It means an arm. It means A big arm.
Alan Hahn
Sure. Does it? Certainly.
Peter Rosenberg
And Don. Don knows.
Alan Hahn
No, I don't.
Peter Rosenberg
I've never. You've never heard he's got a hose.
Alan Hahn
Just the way you knew what you were doing.
Don Hahn
I knew exactly what I was doing.
Alan Hahn
I'm talking no hitter, and you just decide, well, no, no. How can I. How can I take this up a notch?
Peter Rosenberg
No, Lynn, I watched Lindor. Oh, I bet you did Make a play. And it was. It was a. It was a nice play.
Don Hahn
Well, then, if you're talking about his arm, I have seen it.
Caller or Listener
And.
Peter Rosenberg
Okay, yeah, I've seen it. And what I'm saying is it's not a big one.
Alan Hahn
Okay.
Don Hahn
All right, now you're trying to.
Peter Rosenberg
Now he doesn't have a big arm.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
It's not overly. How do I need to say it? They'll make you comfortable.
Alan Hahn
Just what you just did.
Peter Rosenberg
No, honestly, I do not know how I would say what I'm trying to say. Strong arm.
Don Hahn
It's got a gun.
Peter Rosenberg
Gun and hose are that different.
Alan Hahn
Or an arm.
Don Hahn
Big time. Anyway, in that moment.
Alan Hahn
Yeah, anyways.
Peter Rosenberg
What's the answer to my question? Because I didn't mean it that way.
Don Hahn
I don't think he's got a cannon. But he's an A plus defender.
Peter Rosenberg
No, no. A plus defender. But, like. But it's.
Alan Hahn
Can we just.
Don Hahn
It's a shortstop. You're going to have to have some sort of an arm.
Alan Hahn
Can I hit? Like, can I hit fast forward?
Don Hahn
Well, I got a sponsor.
Peter Rosenberg
You that uncomfortable talking about a guy's hose?
Don Hahn
I. Listen, maybe I'm missing something. I've followed baseball my entire life. Entire life, I have never, ever heard someone's arm described as a hose. That doesn't mean you're. That doesn't mean you're wrong.
Peter Rosenberg
No. Well, listen, if I were younger, I'd fight tooth and nail all day and
Don Hahn
say that sometimes things miss you. Well, no.
Peter Rosenberg
And also, I'm younger than you. Maybe it wasn't a thing I played 12 years after you. Maybe it became a thing.
Phil Simms
You.
Don Hahn
Allen, because we're around the same age.
Alan Hahn
Listen, I'm here to support Peter, but I'm also here to agree with you, Donna. That one.
Peter Rosenberg
Anyone? No one's heard.
Rich Eisen
Jacob, you're younger than Peter.
Alan Hahn
Oh, wow.
Don Hahn
I've heard hoes, but gun is usually the one I hear more often. Yeah, I think you avoid hoes for the reasons that we just saw.
Alan Hahn
Or just say arm. I don't know. I don't really have an arm.
Don Hahn
I've never heard anybody say he hosed him down. Because that's.
Peter Rosenberg
No, you wouldn't say, you wouldn't say that. No, he hosed him down. But, but you say he's got.
Don Hahn
But you would gun him down.
Peter Rosenberg
That's what's interesting.
Alan Hahn
Oh yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
You've got a gun and you can gun him down.
Caller or Listener
Down.
Peter Rosenberg
You still got him down. You got a hose, but you gunned him down. I'm seeing support in the chat.
Don Hahn
I know. I, I, again, I'm not.
Alan Hahn
We're with you. We're here for you.
Don Hahn
I am not.
Peter Rosenberg
Canon safest.
Don Hahn
Canon safest.
Peter Rosenberg
You know. Yeah.
Alan Hahn
You made a choice.
Peter Rosenberg
A bowl made a choice. No, but, but hose was. We, we did it. We, we said hoes. Yeah, it was the thing.
Alan Hahn
No, no, we didn't.
Don Hahn
We went through this on the chase move.
Peter Rosenberg
Weighs in. Peter is right. Very common baseball.
Alan Hahn
Sure.
Don Hahn
Now I did this on the K show and I got, and I've heard it before, What'd you do when you describe somebody running very fast? And I would say he's booking.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, he's booking it.
Don Hahn
But I remember getting resistance when I said that on the case show because Kay said he never heard that.
Alan Hahn
He never heard that.
Peter Rosenberg
Right? No, no.
Alan Hahn
That's a thing.
Don Hahn
I thought so.
Peter Rosenberg
But you know what?
Don Hahn
Hey, listen, some things miss you. All the times it was described as a hose, I was not in earshot.
Alan Hahn
The hose did not miss Peter.
Don Hahn
The Rangers host the Spur. The Sabres. Excuse me. And that's going to be on 1050 starting at 6:30. Tullamore Dew. The original triple distilled, triple blended and triple cast matured Irish whiskey. Be sure to grab a Tullamore Dew or try the new Tullamore Dew. Honey, during today's action, glasses up to enjoying Tullamore Dew responsibly. All right, so Allen's been talking about this for a while. Knicks are playing the Celtics tomorrow.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Don Hahn
And the game's probably not going to mean anything. I think everybody's kind of locked in to the point where we may not see some of the stars play, which really stinks. I think it's a peacock game, if I'm not mistaken. Right. Is it a side by side? I think it's a peacock.
Peter Rosenberg
Thursday is.
Don Hahn
I think so. They've been promoting it. Celtics, Knicks. Are you working?
Alan Hahn
Okay. Yeah.
Don Hahn
So it's a side by side.
Alan Hahn
It's a side by side. We, we've got. It's probably why, I don't know. Because. Right. So Sunday's a peacock game.
Caller or Listener
I see.
Don Hahn
Prime.
Alan Hahn
It's prime. Okay. Well, it is still a side by side.
Don Hahn
Nick is prime tonight, by the way.
Alan Hahn
See? Really sorry.
Caller or Listener
I didn't mean to upset you.
Alan Hahn
You just did.
Don Hahn
There's old age homes right now that are in rioting. They're throwing their applesauce.
Alan Hahn
Where's the Yankees?
Don Hahn
I don't see the Yankees app. I don't want an appetizer.
Alan Hahn
All right, press the button. Put the Yankees on.
Don Hahn
But Jaylen Brown's been a little chatty, and here's what he has to say about the final in season matchup against the Knicks tomorrow.
Jaylen Brown (quoted)
Knicks game coming up tomorrow. You know, it's a great game. I mean, obviously, we're still building in the direction that we want to go in. We just got to take. Have the right mentality. Just keep getting better every step. I'm looking forward to it. It's always a great environment in the Garden. Big rivalry always between New York fans and Boston fans. So we just, you know, come out and do what you got to do.
Don Hahn
Not overly chatting. It's fine.
Alan Hahn
Yeah, he's. He's been chatting, so he, you know, Donnie Wahlberg went from it. Does Boston Blue now another cop show have to.
Don Hahn
Okay, right now, the difference between Donnie and his brother is Donnie was the one in Sixth Sense. They got shot in the bath that shot and killed Bruce Willis. But we didn't find out till the
Peter Rosenberg
end of the movie.
Don Hahn
That's Donnie, right?
Alan Hahn
Donnie is New Kids on the Block.
Don Hahn
What's the other one?
Alan Hahn
Mark.
Don Hahn
No, Mark's New Kids on the Block.
Alan Hahn
No, no, Donnie. Donnie is.
Peter Rosenberg
Donnie was New Kids. Marky.
Alan Hahn
Marky. Mark.
Don Hahn
I'm very proud that I know.
Alan Hahn
Anyways, but he was. He was also. He did the.
Don Hahn
Donnie's the one from Six Sense.
Peter Rosenberg
Correct? Donnie's in Six Sense.
Alan Hahn
Yeah. So he's doing this show, and Jaylen Brown is a guest star on the show. And in it, there's a scene where Jaylen Brown finds out that the character that Donnie plays is from New York, transferred right to Boston and says, you're not a Knicks fan, are you? He said, I am. And Brown's reply is, I'm sorry for your loss. So it's funny. And then when he was asked about it, he said, I didn't write the scene, I just acted it. But anyway, so there's been a lot of this, though, going on because Jaylen Brown talked about how much he couldn't stand dealing with Knick fans after losing to the Knicks. There is. I'm telling you, the league has to hope this is a series in the second round because there's so Much buildup to it, the revenge factor, the comeback factor for Tatum, There's a lot building into this potential postseason matchup. So tomorrow night's like, the last time they play each other before it gets real. And it's Tatum's first time back at the Garden since, of course, he suffered the Achilles. So there's a sense that tomorrow night means a lot to the Celtics.
Don Hahn
Right.
Caller or Listener
But.
Don Hahn
But.
Alan Hahn
And again, Jaylen Brown. So he said what he said. He's not saying anything in San Diego, but the injury report for tomorrow has Jaylen Brown questionable and has several other players questionable, but not Jason Tatum, who already gave it away last night that he's playing.
Don Hahn
And he talked about his return to msg.
Jason Tatum (quoted)
I mean, yeah, I thought about it. Not, like, thrilled to go back and play there. You know, last time I played there, obviously, it was a traumatic, you know, experience for me. Obviously, I knew at some point I would have to get over that hurdle and, you know, play there again. So it's gonna have to be this Thursday. But it's not like I'm thrilled about it. It's part of it. You know, I decided to come back and play. So, you know, not necessarily, like, skipping certain games. You know, I can't play back to backs right now, but, you know, I decided to come back and play. So just another game on the schedule.
Alan Hahn
Just another game on the schedule. You buying that? I'm not.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, he said he's not playing back to backs, so it's not a back to back.
Alan Hahn
Right. It's the first of one.
Peter Rosenberg
So it's the first one. So he's going to play it. I think maybe that one party could be leaving out is he wants to. If there are any weird feelings about it, you just want to get out of the way. Yeah, Like, I want to get back to the scene of the crime. And just. That's why he should.
Alan Hahn
Yeah, that's why he should play in this game. Because it just, to me, get on the floor and just playing it lost. And now because, you know, you don't want a game two or game three, I should say, at the. MSG, to feel weird because it's the first time and now it's in your head. Because I was watching his exchange with the reporters after the game last night, and it was interesting. First of all, he's gone six straight games scoring 20 or more points.
Peter Rosenberg
Now he's, knock on wood.
Alan Hahn
He's looking pretty right all the way back now. And what's interesting is it felt like at first, the questions he was trying to like downplay it, but because they kept asking him, he got more and more uncomfortable about having to talk about returning to the scene of the crime and what it felt like and all that stuff. He's been doing this documentary about his comeback, so, you know, he's been talking about a lot. So I think for him it's going to be important to just get back out on the floor. But I don't know how the Celtics are going to handle this game other than him just getting that over with. So when the playoffs come. All right, I've already played there. It's, it's, no, it's not a looking down at the floor going, that's the spot. I, I hurt myself. Right. So I don't know. But, but Boston listing all these guys as questionable is very interesting. Are they looking at this game and saying we're, we're pretty much locked.
Don Hahn
And then him saying it's just another game tells you that maybe the Celtics are not going to really push you tomorrow.
Alan Hahn
But he'll play to get, get that
Don Hahn
part over because that's just the way it falls. Boba Shet had a single, so that breaks up any. No hit it bid bottom fourth inning.
Alan Hahn
You're welcome.
Don Hahn
Met still down five nothing. Got a little bit of a mild threat. Runners at first and second and two outs. And that game can be heard on 880. Let's get back to the phones. 1-800-919-3776 Thoughts on the Knicks, thoughts on the Yankees start to the season. My list, whatever you want to get into. Enn's, of course, coming up at 6:00'.
Caller or Listener
Clock.
Don Hahn
Let's go to Steve in Middle Village. You're on ESPN New York. What's up Steve?
Caller or Listener
Yeah, hi Don. Thanks guys for taking the call. You were talking about fans that are, you know, that are really positive and not negative. And the one I always remember is I was lucky enough to get free tickets to go in 2003 when Clemens got his 300th win and it was against the Cardinals, the St. Louis Cardinals. It was the first time the Cardinals were in at Yankee stadium since the fifth game of the 1964 World Series. Ironically, I was a 10 year old kid in the bleachers. Long story. Anyway, the people there all dressed in red. I was going to the seats and my wife was with me and I finally turned around, I said, these are great fans. I turned around and said, welcome to Yankee Stadium. Welcome to Yankee Stadium. Several people came over to me and shook my hand and said, thank you very much. I said, we're going to beat you tonight, blah, blah, blah. From all I've heard, those are great fans and they're not negative. Well, maybe they are now. It's a different world. It was 20 years ago, 23 years ago, but there were always great fans that always supported their team. And I'm a Yankee fan saying this. I'd like to hear what you have to say.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, I.
Don Hahn
You know, when we were talking about it, Steve, and thank you for the phone call. Like, in New York, who were the nicest fans? But, yo, you go. I remember LeBron James in Miami. He lost a tough game. And you. There was a kid on the microphone. You got it. It's okay.
Alan Hahn
Good job. Good job. Good effort. Yeah.
Don Hahn
You know, different world.
Alan Hahn
Cincinnati, that's a baseball town. They love St. Louis. It's different.
Don Hahn
I remember the Clemens pursuit of 300. And he mentioned it was 2003, so the Yankees interleague play was with the National League Central. He had a chance to get his 300th win at Wrigley Field. It was like a Saturday afternoon game. It was like, beat, like, maybe he'll get it. Yankees playing at Wrigley Field for the first time since, you know, Ruth pointed for the home, like. And he ended up not getting the win. Ended up getting a little later on in the season. And that day, I did a morning show on Saturday and someone called to talk about Clemens pursuit of 300 at Wrigley Field. And first he says, donny, you're the best. And I did the phone call, found out later it was Scott Gomez. When they won the Stanley cup, he said to me, I called the other day, talked about Roger Clement.
Alan Hahn
Was it Scott from Newark?
Don Hahn
No. I don't know if.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't know if that drop ever.
Don Hahn
I know that drop is probably stolen by Joey Salvia, because again, the drop is literally 23 years old. If it's a day like, hey, Donnie, you're the best. Oh, thanks. It was Scott from wherever.
Alan Hahn
That's tremendous.
Rich Eisen
That is great.
Peter Rosenberg
From Jersey, but it was about Clemens,
Don Hahn
about Clement, because he's a huge baseball fan. Scott Gomez, who right now is the. I think he's a general manager of a. Of a junior league team out west. But I always think about that. That was like. That was a big deal. Like, Roger Clements could get his 300th win. We don't even think about that stuff anymore because interleague play has been around for. Next year will be. What do you think next year will be? The anniversary of Interleague play well.
Alan Hahn
Oh, he's not just a. He's not just general manager of any junior team. Chicago Steel.
Don Hahn
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
As one of the premier USHL 23 program.
Don Hahn
Next year will be the 30th anniversary of Interleague.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, it started before the World Series 97. I forgot that it started before 2000, the Subway Series.
Alan Hahn
Yeah. Remember they Mets and you had played each other, so the novelty wasn't.
Don Hahn
Remember the reason with the bat throw. Piazza got hit earlier in the season. So think about that. Think about the jet. Like there are people that are in their late teens, early 20s. This is all they know is that's it. But back in the early. And that was like.
Alan Hahn
It was the mayor's trophy game. Remember? That was the only time that was
Don Hahn
a big deal for.
Alan Hahn
Yes. For the Mets.
Don Hahn
It was a big deal.
Alan Hahn
Well, it was a big deal for George too, you know.
Don Hahn
Oh, he. He went crazy. I'm telling you, George hated the Met, especially when the Mets, like won the World Series in 86 and they were getting all the shine and he went nuts.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Don Hahn
Let's go to Jim. He's in New Jersey. You're on ESPN New York. What's up, Jim?
Caller or Listener
Hey, guys, I got to disagree with that caller about the Cardinal fans.
Okay.
Don Hahn
No, he said Cardinals.
Alan Hahn
He said.
Don Hahn
I thought he said Cardinals.
Caller or Listener
No, no, no, Cardinals.
Alan Hahn
Okay.
Caller or Listener
Yeah, the Cardinals fans are extremely arrogant. And you know, if it rained and they were looking up, they might drown. I was out at Wrigley Field for Cubs Cardinals game on a Friday afternoon in 2017. And the way that the Cardinal fans were talking about the Cubs fresh off a World Series and knocking out the Cardinals. I believe in that postseason, it made no sense. Just totally arrogant.
Alan Hahn
They invented baseball there. One of my friends is a longtime baseball writer in that town. And it's like what he has to put up with because it is. It isn't. I thought when I heard him say
Don Hahn
red Reds because they were wearing their red.
Alan Hahn
So I did. I misheard. So my bad.
Peter Rosenberg
Let me ask you guys a question, please. Ballard and I have been discussing this is in your opinion, April the best month for sports?
Alan Hahn
No. October is.
Peter Rosenberg
You think October is better football?
Don Hahn
It's hard to say. The best sports doesn't include. Unless you're going to say the draft.
Peter Rosenberg
So. No, it doesn't. No, no. Well, that's the thing, though. It doesn't have the. It does have a football nerd. Well, hear me out. It has the draft. If you are a football nerd. And again, I don't love the draft.
Alan Hahn
And playoffs with both of hockey and basketball.
Peter Rosenberg
Hockey and basketball both go to playoffs, Right. March Madness culminates draft barely.
Alan Hahn
But yes, Masters.
Peter Rosenberg
In my case, I'll throw in WrestleMania,
Alan Hahn
but.
Peter Rosenberg
But for a lot. If you're a very diverse sports fan, the fact that you get hockey playoffs, basketball playoffs, masters draft, that is a lot of weekends. Oh, and then the first weekend of the month will have the. The Final Four. That's a strong.
Alan Hahn
No, you can make a case.
Peter Rosenberg
But October, you can make a case. You're getting World Series.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
You're getting four weeks of football, you're getting hockey regular season. And at the end of the month, you're getting basketball starts.
Alan Hahn
It's. Yeah. And I mean, there's also. There's got to be. No, golf's done by October, right?
Rich Eisen
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
The championship.
Peter Rosenberg
No, no. You might have FedEx cup in early November. So I don't think it's done now.
Don Hahn
Listen, November, you're in New York. All right, so there's a chance that at least the Yankees are going to the playoffs. So they'll be. There'll be postseason, but there's a chance they both don't go. And now it's done. Because here's the thing.
Peter Rosenberg
You can't really make it local, though. Kind of be on the. Overall, I've got to.
Don Hahn
I don't like the Masters, but people do all right.
Peter Rosenberg
Like even people like me who don't watch every golf tournament.
Alan Hahn
The unofficial start of spring, though, the
Don Hahn
Final Four championship game, I don't know, does that.
Peter Rosenberg
But the whole four you get. It's. It's Saturday, too. Not always. It could fall in March, but usually.
Alan Hahn
But this year. This year it was what? It was the fourth and the fourth, and it was both.
Don Hahn
It's hit or miss. Both. Like. Like the Masters. If you're a golf fan, the Masters is always going to be huge. Doesn't match. But the Final Four really depends. So maybe you don't have an attractive Final Four. Maybe the games aren't that great. You know, I don't. I don't know if the Nation. Listen, Michigan, UConn was a really good matchup.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, but. But now you're now getting too specific because, like, I don't know, the October part of the football schedule might not have really found their way yet. What do you mean? They're not even playing good football till November 1st anymore.
Alan Hahn
Right.
Peter Rosenberg
I mean, you look now we go back and look at October.
Alan Hahn
It's still an event. It's still a Final Four. It's still an event.
Peter Rosenberg
I know it's an event, but a
Don Hahn
week in the NFL schedule is a big thing.
Peter Rosenberg
It is.
Alan Hahn
Could be.
Peter Rosenberg
I care and you can.
Don Hahn
It's a monstrous thing.
Peter Rosenberg
So when you take October, you could
Alan Hahn
toss in also in October is when the college football season actually starts to have their real games. And you get out. You get.
Peter Rosenberg
That's rampant.
Alan Hahn
We know September is always these like
Don Hahn
not being a big college basketball.
Peter Rosenberg
Are we forgetting anything real quick though, Don? Are we forgetting? Because hold on here.
Rich Eisen
Hear me out.
Peter Rosenberg
January, you are getting playoff football playoffs, you are getting NBA in full swing. Hockey in full swing. College football championship. There's a lot in January. January has a. They're in there.
Don Hahn
January would be in there.
Alan Hahn
February Super Bowl. Right?
Peter Rosenberg
Yep. All star.
Alan Hahn
February has all star. Used to be something Daytona. And then on top of it again. The winter sports are fully swing.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. College basketball is fully in swing. Conference sets. It's getting into.
Don Hahn
But you think about March.
Peter Rosenberg
Okay. Oh, he wants to throw March. Think about it. All right.
Don Hahn
Because then you're getting the best part of March Madness.
Alan Hahn
Right?
Don Hahn
The Thursday, Friday first two weeks.
Phil Simms
That.
Don Hahn
That. That's big.
Alan Hahn
Okay.
Don Hahn
All right. You're really deep now into the regular season races in the NBA and the NHL, which this year, not big in the NBA, but certainly big in the NHL. So meaningful regular season games in March and now. And now spring training. And now you actually have an opening day in March.
Alan Hahn
Opening night.
Don Hahn
Well, but there's still both.
Peter Rosenberg
You get both.
Don Hahn
But you.
Peter Rosenberg
Opening night and opening.
Don Hahn
Sure, but you did get like everybody playing in March.
Alan Hahn
You know what?
Don Hahn
Opening weekend in March.
Alan Hahn
There's a list. It's still Wednesday.
Peter Rosenberg
It's still Wednesday.
Don Hahn
Still Wednesday.
Alan Hahn
Top five months for.
Don Hahn
That's a good but no, that's a very. Was that Ballard?
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Don Hahn
He deserves.
Peter Rosenberg
He hit me up and said nothing better than April and I only started
Rich Eisen
having a bit little.
Don Hahn
It's.
Alan Hahn
It's.
Don Hahn
It's interesting because all. With the exception of the masters March gives you because it's the first round of NBA and NHL, which again, it's still playoffs.
Peter Rosenberg
It's better than regular season does give you something.
Alan Hahn
Come on.
Phil Simms
Playoff.
Don Hahn
I want to think about this a little bit more.

you're sitting at a red light or stuck in traffic and your phone lights up. Maybe it's a text, a video call, a new post, or a quick notification you think you can check in a second. It feels harmless. But the truth is, once your eyes leave the road, you're not really driving anymore. And traffic doesn't pause just because you do. That split second of distraction can throw off everything. Your reaction time, your awareness, your ability to avoid someone else's mistake. You could damage your car, injure yourself or hurt someone you care about. Or you could get pulled over for a reminder that your phone isn't worth the risk. Don Hahn
You know, Wednesdays at 4 o' clock we have Monica McNutt, but every Wednesday Bart and Carlin have Phil Sims on.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, you bet your ace they do.
Don Hahn
And as we get closer to the draft and certainly during football season, he is going to be a great get. So he was on earlier today with the boys and he was asked the question, could you see the Giants trading Dexter Lawrence for a Quinn and Williams like package?
Phil Simms
These big guys? It's hard to find people or players that have the size, the skill and everything else. And to draft a young defensive lineman like him if you, if that's what you turn out to do. You know, I remember hearing this from the coaching staff many times. Besides the quarterback position, playing interior defensive line is the hardest thing to learn and to do in the NFL because in college it's pretty much straight ahead. And the pros, hell, they're hitting you from everywhere and you don't know which. What's going on sometimes. And I hope they keep him and settled it. And you know, there's one way to settle. That's money. If they can get an unbelievable package coming back, if they do trading, then I understand. But to me, it has to be really big time. Look what we got for this. That's why we did it.
Don Hahn
And that's why you don't shut down any trade talks. Because maybe there is a team that will give you just too much to say no to. Like what Seattle did for Jamal Adams back in the day. Like, that was. That was amazing. That was amazing.
Alan Hahn
Coup for Douglas or what Indianapolis did for Sauce Gardner.
Phil Simms
Right.
Alan Hahn
They weren't, they didn't want to give away Sauce Gardner, but once you got too far, like, are you kidding?
Don Hahn
Okay, we got to do it now. He's coming off a tough year. A lot of the defensive metrics, especially against the pass, were very poor for the Giants last year. That needs to improve.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Don Hahn
But you've been saying it all along, Alan. It's. He's going to get paid.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Don Hahn
And I think there's going to be a song and dance that goes on, especially now, this early in the off season. And we'll see once camp opens how far he's willing to take any kind of a holdout. And I would think coming off the way last year went, he is not going to do anything that's going to damage him balling out in 2026.
Alan Hahn
Right.
Don Hahn
Because it's really going to affect it. Because he'd come off with two poor seasons or God forbid, he gets injured, then he's got no chance of getting paid again.
Alan Hahn
Remember, John Harbaugh is all about the line of scrimmage.
Don Hahn
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
And it's all about winning the leverage game. And no one helps you win a leverage game more than the big fatty in the middle. Those guys are. You heard Sim say it, incredibly valuable pieces that no one ever wants to talk about. But all the great teams have one.
Don Hahn
Phil was asked or talked about the possibility of or just about Lawrence's trade
Phil Simms
request he wants more money. Probably deserves more money as you look at the market. Was it a good year for him last year? No, it was not. But he was coming off for a big guy. I can't imagine anything worse than having a foot problem. So, you know, I was at training camp. He really couldn't do any work there, I'm sure. Motivation, wanting more money, all that I'd be very surprised at. The Giants trade him, keep him there. You got a new organization going. Keep one of your really good players and hope that this new organizing, the coach, the general manager, everybody, you know, we can quit talking about some of that and have a successful year as a football team.
Don Hahn
Yeah, I don't think he's going anywhere. And also remember, I don't either. Remember, not only do you have to trade a lot for him, you're going
Alan Hahn
to have to pay him right now.
Don Hahn
You know, the Adams situation came at a time where Seattle felt like he was the missing piece to a Super Bowl. Does anybody think that Dexter Lawrence in April is a missing piece to their Super Bowl? No, we haven't even drafted yet. Free agency still has to happen. There's a lot of that's a trade where maybe somebody blinks, like, what happened with Sauce Gardner during the season? Like, hey, I think this guy can get us over the top now. And then everything fell apart for Indianapolis with the injury to Daniel Jones. Yeah, like, if we're sitting here, Giants aren't paying him, he's going to play. We get to the trade deadline, the Giants are kind of out of it. There's a team who's like, man, if I'm. I feel like I'm nose tackle away to winning a Super Bowl, I'll give you two first round picks, then maybe you do something.
Alan Hahn
But by then you don't even know what he's doing. Right. Like, is. Does he hold out all that stuff? All I think is, is it's kind of late in the go to be saying this because the draft is in a couple of weeks and if you're the Giants, here's some Captain Obvious for you. If you're trading them, it's draft night. Before draft night. Well, yeah, if he's still on your roster after the draft, what are you doing? What are you gonna. You're not trading them, then?
Peter Rosenberg
No, that's it.
Alan Hahn
That doesn't do you any good. So you'd have to trade him by the draft, Right?
Don Hahn
Or like I said, you get to the deadline, you get to October, you're out of it.
Alan Hahn
You force him to Play So he can't hold out.
Don Hahn
He can't hold out because he's. He would be killing his career if he held out. Miserable year in 25 and then you got to hold out in 26.
Alan Hahn
Guys have done it.
Don Hahn
No, I know. And when they do it, they lose.
Peter Rosenberg
Usually.
Don Hahn
They always.
Alan Hahn
Chris Jones didn't.
Phil Simms
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
No, but Chris Jones wasn't coming off. What was he coming off of?
Alan Hahn
I thought it was an injury.
Peter Rosenberg
Was Chris Jones coming off an injury?
Alan Hahn
I thought it was an injury.
Don Hahn
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
Then he sat out a whole training camp and I think the first week or two.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't remember that because I do think you're right. He was coming off an injury.
Alan Hahn
I think he was. But it's.
Don Hahn
You go to Lev Bell. Like it never.
Alan Hahn
Those guys are the skill guys.
Peter Rosenberg
Levy on that did not go well. We know that. But I go back to what I said originally. Looking at it from the Giant standpoint. Whatever you can do to shorten this and make. I know. They downplay it and everyone will say they're fine. And Harbaugh, of all people. Oh, we're not thinking about that. We're thinking about football. And the guys. Everyone thinks about it. It becomes a distraction. The player ends up not being as prepared. Whatever you can do to sit down with him and say, hey, we don't want to posture. This is. What can we do here to have you playing? You have to figure it out. Because, guys, this is a year where for the Giants, everyone sees this as a step forward kind of year. Oh, yeah. We're already talking about. And I think this is. Has a lot of validity. We're already talking about concern about when Malik Neighbors is going to be available. Will that impact the way they draft? Because they certainly don't have Malik Neighbors all summer. And now they're already saying, we hope to have him around the start of the year. That could be all of September. We don't know.
Alan Hahn
We don't.
Peter Rosenberg
So what I'm saying is it also
Alan Hahn
means, you know, lack of reps, all the things that are.
Peter Rosenberg
You have to minimize. This is a season, your second year with this quarterback.
Don Hahn
You.
Peter Rosenberg
You're drafting high. You have to maximize growth this season wherever you can. Avoid things that are going to slow things down, which is exactly what the Dexter Lawrence thing would be. You have to avoid it. I'm telling you, these things that start off as a. Don't worry about it. They're gonna get it done. Okay. They get it done. It doesn't mean it comes without a cost. You want to get it done.
Don Hahn
Now, the jets were also a topic of conversation this morning with Phil Simms.
Peter Rosenberg
You bet.
Don Hahn
Should the jets target Carson Beck?
Phil Simms
Carson Beck. As time goes on, you know, I have not talked to anybody about it, really, but I just think it makes more and more sense that he's going to be the guy that the jets should target. And for many reasons. One size, he is a big dude. He moves around a little better than people give him credit for. He does have a big arm. And he's going to run an offense. If he goes to the jets, he's going to run an offense that's kind of similar to the University of Miami, which they ran. Carson Beck was kind of going through everything in Georgia. He gets hurt, it's taken away from him. That had to be emotionally just killing him. He goes to Miami, he turns into me like a new guy. You could see a little more enthusiasm, body language. And he had to run an offense that had to be really precise and read and do the right thing. And I think he answered all those questions, so we'll see where it goes from there. But I'm one of these guys. As time has gone along, I'm thinking more and more about Carson Beck, you know, being a really good, solid NFL quarterback.
Alan Hahn
Many from Staten island is.
Peter Rosenberg
Nick, I just say this is based on nothing, but tell me I'm wrong. Tell me before him, before he even plays a second. Tell me Carson Beck doesn't already sound like a failed jets quarterback. I didn't know this based on nothing but name. I just hate how it sounds. I. There's nothing. I have nothing to base this on.
Alan Hahn
Okay.
Peter Rosenberg
I just. I can picture it on the list.
Alan Hahn
So it's names system that he's comfortable in.
Peter Rosenberg
Yep.
Alan Hahn
He is one at the highest level of college football.
Peter Rosenberg
Yep.
Alan Hahn
And he was in college for about eight years.
Peter Rosenberg
Yep.
Don Hahn
I.
Alan Hahn
He's got like. He's not small.
Peter Rosenberg
No, I'm not saying this based on anything except being in this market for 10 years and just hearing and seeing the things that happen. And I picture that jersey in five years costing $4.
Alan Hahn
This is not Christian Hackenberg. This is not that.
Peter Rosenberg
I mean, listen, maybe I'm also biased because I don't know if you recall the Redskins had a little backup quarterback named John Beck. Didn't the jets, too? The jets never had John Beck.
Alan Hahn
Maybe they've had a million quarterbacks.
Don Hahn
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
No, I'm basing it on nothing.
Alan Hahn
Oh, I'm not. And I'm not trying to make the case that this would be great.
Peter Rosenberg
No, it's on paper, you're right.
Alan Hahn
But if you think about like, hey, take a quarterback. Don't waste a high pick. Like those who think taking Ty Simpson with that first, second round pick, that's still too high. Fine. If Beck is there and it's like the fourth round or whatever, like a third and you're like, all right, you know what? We can use one here. Have a guy. If things go really bad with Geno, we throw him in there. If he doesn't hit, all right, you're back in the draft and you try again. Right. That seems to be the easiest play for the Jets.
Don Hahn
He played the national championship game too. We weren't blown out. All right, The John Beck. Strange poll, by the way.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, what am I doing? I'm sorry.
Alan Hahn
I was waiting for it.
Don Hahn
Very odd NFL career. Oh, he appeared in 17 games.
Alan Hahn
Started at 13. His whole career.
Don Hahn
Whole career?
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
How many years?
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, not long.
Don Hahn
Well, his Rookie year was 2007. As a 26 year old, he started four games for the Dolphins, lost them all. His next appearance was in 2011 with Washington. So four years off. Well, started three games, lost them all.
Alan Hahn
He could have been a practice squad guy for a couple of years.
Don Hahn
He's got a record of.07 in the NFL. Three touchdowns, seven interceptions. But what a great poll.
Peter Rosenberg
Thank you. I've been through a lot of bad experiences. Now they are saying, by the way, they, the powers that be are saying the rumor in the streets is that Carson Beckman is. Is dating famed adult film star Abella Danger and known Miami Hurricane fan. They are supposedly.
Don Hahn
Well, she was at champion.
Alan Hahn
That was the thing.
Peter Rosenberg
She was at many games. God bless. So that can either show a reason to give, you know, respect to Carson and think this guy makes some good decisions.
Alan Hahn
He's not Lindor.
Peter Rosenberg
Or it. Or it makes. Or it makes you think he makes some bad decisions. It's all beholder.
Don Hahn
It's either way. There's no, it's not. It's not a mid thing.
Peter Rosenberg
He did well and further right. No, it's not mid. Although I will say this. The key word in the rumor is dating. If it had been like proposed on national television to a Bella Danger, I go, I don't know if I love this dating sound. Dating, college kid dating a bell. It sounds pretty good.
Don Hahn
I mean, then there's a guy in the industry going, we're not dating, we're just filming. Well, same thing's happening. So, you know, I'm getting paid well.
Peter Rosenberg
But he didn't say the word dating. Remember this Is rumors. So he could be thinking of it the same way the people in the
Don Hahn
industry think of it.
Alan Hahn
Do you ever wonder, like, trying to change her in that industry?
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, sure.
Alan Hahn
Because it's work. It's almost like when you're a chef and you come home, go ahead. And your family's like, hey, you can make dinner tonight. Like, I've been cooking all day. You think I want to make dinner now?
Peter Rosenberg
Now, listen, I'm sure in some cases it is like that.
Alan Hahn
Or do you just love to cook so much?
Peter Rosenberg
You know what?
Alan Hahn
I cook even more better because my family.
Peter Rosenberg
I think it's both.
Don Hahn
The way you sell it, if you're a porn star to your husband is when I'm at work at Stakehams. When I come home, it's filet mignon.
Alan Hahn
So I'm working at McDonald's.
Peter Rosenberg
I love this version.
Don Hahn
I was doing my job.
Peter Rosenberg
I love this version that Don created.
Alan Hahn
Are making. We're making steak.
Don Hahn
Put burger here. Like, that's it.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, let's put burger here.
Don Hahn
We come home. We come. I. We come home. It's. I got a sous chef. We're.
Peter Rosenberg
No.
Don Hahn
Everything's flying.
Peter Rosenberg
Isn't that about the best comp has created?
Alan Hahn
But that's the best comp.
Peter Rosenberg
But think about what you guys are even saying. I like you're saying in most of these situations, the porn star wife, her husband just, like, works down at the office. When he gets up, and he's like, hey, babe, how was your day? And she's like, oh, crazy. And as opposed to, like, they met in their line of work, you know, or could be one's a celebrity and, you know, I don't know how often it's this version, but maybe your version exists.
Alan Hahn
Hilarious movie.
Don Hahn
You know, we should ask who. And he follows me. I can just send him a dm. Go ahead. Is iced tea.
Peter Rosenberg
No.
Don Hahn
Oh, that's not a good idea. Why?
Peter Rosenberg
Because it's not accurate.
Don Hahn
Why is it inaccurate?
Peter Rosenberg
Because it's not.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Don Hahn
He's not a porn star.
Peter Rosenberg
I would I just say we go to break. Wow. I don't know.
Don Hahn
That's what I heard. I don't know.
Alan Hahn
We're gonna dump that last part.
Peter Rosenberg
Really? Why is that? Because she's not. But I thought she was.
Don Hahn
Who's dating a. Who's married to a porn star?
Alan Hahn
Okay.
Peter Rosenberg
I'm sure a lot of people.
Don Hahn
I don't know.
Peter Rosenberg
I thought you were going to say we should just ask Lisa, and that's a good one.
Don Hahn
There you go. Is she married?
Peter Rosenberg
No, but the conversation I guess she risking that she goes hey by the way I've never been a porn star we know for a fact that I
Don Hahn
don't know listen I have follow I guess my apologies I have no idea no I wasn't judging I just a
Peter Rosenberg
model I don't know she was never she was never a nude model and she's never in porn.
Don Hahn
Then how did that happen? Just my stupidity or all right, quick time out.

Love E N. Got tons of calls to get to at 1-800-919-3776. Let's go to Marcus. He's in Springfield. You're on ESPN New York. What's up Marcus?
Alan Hahn
Hey guys.
Caller or Listener
First off, Alan, pleasure to finally be able to talk to you. The first couple times I've been able to call it, you haven't been there.
Alan Hahn
Likewise.
Caller or Listener
But I got a month for y'. All regarding best month of sports. It's gonna be the month of May.
Don Hahn
Okay, what do you got?
Caller or Listener
So we got so obviously you got the conference finals for both football and hockey. You'll have the US Open in golf, start of the French Open in tennis, and then you'll have one of my personal favorites, the best Sunday in motorsport, which is the date for Memorial Day. You'll have Monaco in the morning for Formula One. You'll have any 500 in the afternoon. And in the evening you have the Coke 600 for NASCAR.
Don Hahn
That was always a big deal.
Alan Hahn
Did you say U.S. open in golf? Yes, I double checked. That's June.
Peter Rosenberg
U.S. opens.
Don Hahn
June.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Caller or Listener
You know what? I got the PGA and the US
Alan Hahn
Mixed up is always going to fall on Phil Mickelson's birthday.
Peter Rosenberg
That's how I always remember Bill's birthday. But the PGA is a big deal. The PGA is a big deal.
Alan Hahn
PGA is still a big deal.
Peter Rosenberg
And the French is a big deal. Yeah.
Don Hahn
And you know, and I don't get into it as much anymore, but it was a big deal when I was first dating in the married to Nancy that day where you get up and there's Monaco, which I think is just so underrated. That's a bucket list place for me. Morning Formula One. Just all the yachts and the. It's really cool. It's so aesthetically pleasing. The tunnel, everything about it.
Alan Hahn
Yeah. It's celebrity for racing. The master is the same thing. You get that.
Don Hahn
Then you go into Indianapolis 500, and even if you're not a big racing fan, it kind of something.
Alan Hahn
Yes.
Don Hahn
And then you'd have the Coca Cola 600 for NASCAR, which also became cool. Like when Tony Stewart was trying to do both, there were some racers. I think Juan Pablo Montoya might have done it, too. Where you do the Indianapolis 500 and then go to Charlotte for the race. I don't know if there's as many drivers that do it anymore, but if you get that. All right, you're into baseball. A little deeper into the baseball conference finals. NBA, NHL. Not bad. The more I think about it, though, guys, January, because you've got hockey and basketball regular. Okay, but we all say the championship weekend is better than the Super Bowl.
Peter Rosenberg
That's right.
Don Hahn
And then the divisional rounds. Not nothing either. So basically, January, you've got the entire.
Alan Hahn
And both postseason, you've got.
Peter Rosenberg
Before the Super Bowl.
Alan Hahn
Playoff.
Don Hahn
Playoff as well. Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
And unfortunately, you'll have like week 18, maybe week 17 of the playoffs. I mean, of the regular season, which kind of stinks. Those are two. Like. Yeah, New Year's.
Alan Hahn
New Year's it starts, though. But by the end of the month, though, you're rocking.
Peter Rosenberg
It's rock.
Don Hahn
Yeah, but if you get wild card, divisional and champion.
Alan Hahn
But you don't have baseball at all.
Don Hahn
Not zero baseball.
Peter Rosenberg
And don't even. You bring up meetings. I'll put you right in the face.
Alan Hahn
Right. Right in the face.
Don Hahn
No, you're right.
Alan Hahn
Right in the throat.
Don Hahn
What if your meetings are in January when I do get excited about winter meetings.
Peter Rosenberg
Winter meetings are usually, what, like December,
Don Hahn
Couple of weeks before Christmas.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
And you said. You said people get excited about the
Don Hahn
winter meeting, the baseball fans. I mean, are you kidding?
Peter Rosenberg
You have to be beyond.
Don Hahn
There's a lot of people that are beyond.
Peter Rosenberg
No, but it's. They're dying off. They're in their 80s.
Don Hahn
It's not what it used to be. But there were times where, like, that's where all the free agents signed, all the big trades used to be.
Alan Hahn
Now, Boris doesn't let that happen. No, he only lets one or two.
Phil Simms
I've been a Yankee fan since 1949.
Don Hahn
He does his toolbox, you know, whatever.
Caller or Listener
I'm in.
A yaqui fan since 1955.
Alan Hahn
This is the crowd that's excited about the winter.
Caller or Listener
Yankee fan since 1961.
Peter Rosenberg
You don't hear that one.
Alan Hahn
Is there anything that compares to the winter meetings.
Caller or Listener
I've been a Yankees fan since 1944.
Peter Rosenberg
That one has a Don K in the middle of it.
Don Hahn
44?
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
Nothing.
Don Hahn
But there's nothing like the winter meeting I've been in.
Alan Hahn
Active fans in 1938. Oh, that's.
Peter Rosenberg
You gotta love that.
Phil Simms
You wanted to.
Don Hahn
You hate to say this, but you wonder if he's.
Peter Rosenberg
No, I don't wonder.
Alan Hahn
I don't. Don't do that. I want to believe.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, he's in a fan since 38.
Don Hahn
That drops seven years old if it's a day.
Peter Rosenberg
All right, so 30. Well, let's do the math. He's been a fan since 38. So 62 plus 26. Right. So that's 88 at birth, minimum. So depending what he meant by I've been a fan.
Don Hahn
Right.
Peter Rosenberg
If he meant 4, 92, 5 years old, whatever.
Don Hahn
Alan. Alan. He's gone.
Alan Hahn
I don't want to believe it.
Don Hahn
Let's go to Alex and Lynnbrook. You're on ESPN, New York.
Caller or Listener
Oh, hi, guys. How you doing? I want to talk about Women's Hockey League.
Don Hahn
Sure.
Caller or Listener
I wanted your opinion on the point system, but Mr. Hahn was right. It was a great night. Saturday night, Maxwell Garden, 18,000 people.
Don Hahn
It really did a lot.
Caller or Listener
Of course, I watched you call the Devils game. Then after it was over, I switched over to the women's game. And I was entertained. And I did some research. They got eight teams. They're going to go to 10 and 12.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Caller or Listener
And hopefully half in Canada, half in the U.S. but it's really good. And then the biggest thing is I went online because I'm becoming a Simons fan now. I went online to buy a T shirt jersey, and most everything was sold out. So that's a good sign.
Alan Hahn
Yes.
Caller or Listener
But I want to ask you, just so you know, Deep Purple is going to be at Jones beach, if you like Deep Purple. Anyway, that point system I love is three points for regulation win, two points for an overtime win, and one point for overtime loss. Now, I'm not a mathematician, but I like that better. Do you think that would. If the NHL used that system, would have changed the standings and the.
Alan Hahn
Dramatically.
Don Hahn
It would change it dramatically. It would put, obviously, a lot of weight in winning games in regulation. You take a look at.
Alan Hahn
Let's do the math.
Don Hahn
All of these teams, like the Los Angeles Kings, we talked about it yesterday, are going to go to the playoff. Right now they're a playoff team with 19 regulation wins.
Alan Hahn
That doesn't make sense.
Don Hahn
So under the system you have, that would give them just 38 points. Then you would be taking the two points for the overtime wins that they have, which I'd have to take a look at the standings really quick.
Alan Hahn
Who do you got? The Kings you're talking about?
Don Hahn
Yeah.
Alan Hahn
So the Los Angeles teams have 19 overtime points.
Don Hahn
19. All right. But they've got 32 wins. But only 19 of them are in regulation.
Alan Hahn
Right.
Don Hahn
27 are in overtime or the shootout. Right. Of the 32 that they have.
Alan Hahn
So.
Don Hahn
So then. So you tack on five more. This is a team that. So those would be two points. We'd have to do the math. They would.
Caller or Listener
They.
Don Hahn
They're right now a point back of Nashville for the final playoff spot. As it's changing very fluidly, it would completely change things. But my argument has always been about now we're great.
Peter Rosenberg
We're right.
Don Hahn
We. Right now we grade losses. Did you win an overtime or the shootout or regulation? Now we're grading wins. And is it fair that let's say Vancouver Canucks go into Colorado and beat the Avalanche in overtime? Best team in the NHL, Worst team in the NHL. They get just two points for that. But the reverse happens. Colorado beats Vancouver in regulation. Easy win. They get an extra point. Like you're grading with. I don't know. We could try it. But it definitely would change the standings. I just wish we'd go back to ties. Honestly, I don't know why people get so freaked out about ties.
Alan Hahn
So what?
Don Hahn
I fell in love with the sport with ties.
Alan Hahn
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
I never mind it.
Alan Hahn
At least you know, when it's over,
Peter Rosenberg
a tie is like kissing your sister.
Alan Hahn
No,
Don Hahn
but you do realize the person that came up with that phrase should be institutional.
Peter Rosenberg
No, but.
Alan Hahn
No.
Peter Rosenberg
The mic.
Don Hahn
How did he know that?
Alan Hahn
Had to be a sportswriter that wrote
Don Hahn
that and someone that kissed his sister.
Peter Rosenberg
But the mic. Well, everyone kisses their sister.
Alan Hahn
Kiss your sister.
Peter Rosenberg
The question is, why do you enjoy. Why are using as a kiss?
Alan Hahn
But no, no. The. The saying goes. It's basically, you're getting nothing out of it because it's like you gave her a. Like it's kissing a girl, but it's your sister, so you get nothing out of it. That's what it's supposed to be.
Don Hahn
But you're not getting. Now you get a point. You're getting something.
Peter Rosenberg
Can we just. I just wanted to hear the Michael Drop. I don't. It may have been banned from the system because you know what I'm talking about.
Alan Hahn
He said something.
Don Hahn
Oh, yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
You don't know the famous Michael Drop. It.
Alan Hahn
If I hear it I probably will.
Peter Rosenberg
It didn't get as much play in recent years, but in its heyday it was one of the early drops.
Don Hahn
Do we have it? Jacob? Well, maybe. For enn.
Alan Hahn
Maybe.
Peter Rosenberg
When we say good evening to Michael. All right.
Don Hahn
Yeah, we'll say good evening, Michael.
Peter Rosenberg
I like what you're saying.
