Somebody asked me what the podcast was about. I said, no idea.
C
It's about nothing. It's about nothing. That's Seinfeld. That's Seinfeld. That's Seinfeld.
A
Elder Seinfeld. We've been going through the messages you sent us, and this season we've got conversations about grief. Love, dogs.
B
God almighty, join the human race. We're all fucked up. We all have messed up relationships. Don't try to be with a person, for fuck's sake, get a dog.
A

C
Then stay with that fear. Stay with that terror. Walk around with it, breathe with it, eat with it, play with it, and. And don't try to fix it. Sometimes we disagree. Sometimes we have no idea what the other person is talking about.

C
Zero.
A
Oh, my God, that is so off. It's so fun.
B

A
60% at least, if not 70. But we often laugh, and at the end of each episode, we just hope to feel a little less alone in this. Seriously. For cocktail world. And what does for cocakta mean for those people listening?
C
It means fucked up.
A
Okay. For cocktailed. For kakta. It's Yiddish for a big mess.

The official trailer for "Don’t Listen To Us" introduces listeners to the dynamic trio of Mandy Patinkin, Kathryn Grody, and their son Gideon as they launch a new advice podcast. Embracing chaos, humor, and sensitivity, the family promises a show that's as much about lively disagreement and laughter as it is about meaningful advice. With genuine warmth and candid banter, the trailer sets the stage for a show that’s for anyone who’s ever felt bewildered by life—and seeks solace, or at least a good story, from people who have been there.
The trailer brims with warmth, quick wit, and frankness—a testament to the family’s chemistry. They don’t shy away from humor, tough emotions, or cursing. Their banter feels genuine, their love and disagreements deeply relatable, and their approach to advice is both self-aware and comfortingly unpolished.
Don’t Listen To Us offers not only advice but authentic moments of laughter, reflection, and solidarity in the messiness of life. If you crave an advice show that acknowledges its own imperfections, wraps wisdom in irreverence, and celebrates the chaos of family, this new series is for you.
