Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Turn with me, if you would, to Romans chapter 4. Don't you love the word? I said, don't you love the word? Takes our life and sets it on course. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Romans chapter 4. I want to remind you for a moment about something that happened in a vision that dad Hagin had of Jesus. Dad Hagen tells of the time he had fallen. And injured his arm and he was taken to the hospital. And this was years ago as a young minister. While he was being driven to the hospital, Jesus spoke to him and told him of his injury, that it wasn't broken, but he had only dislocated. And he says, but don't worry about it, and I'll tell talk to you about it later. So as dad Hagen sat in the hospital room, he heard footsteps coming down the hallway. He assumed that it was a nurse. And when the door opened and that person came in, it wasn't a nurse, but it was Jesus. Jesus took a chair in the room and pulled it up next to dad Hagen's hospital bed, spoke to him for an hour and a half. And in the course of that, Jesus said to him, it's my will that none of my children ever be sick. Now think of that, he said, it's my word. None of my children ever, ever, not ever since. That's his desire. Set yourself in agreement with. He went on to say, it's my will that none of my children ever be sick. Never have accidents. He was saying this to dad Hagen, Not any of my doing. I was not a participant. I wasn't trying to teach you. God is not an author of it because it's his will. None of his children. But then, of course, he said, if they do, I will accelerate the healing process. Amen. But then he went on to dad Hagen saying this, but very few ever walk in my best. Think of that state. Very few ever walk in my best. I would say his best was. Never have any accidents. Gave three reasons, he says, because number one, most of my children don't know what belongs to them. If we don't know what belongs to them, to us, then we don't experience his best. But he said, number two, the number two reason is even if they do know what belongs to them, many don't have enough faith to receive. And then he said the third reason why many don't walk in his best disobedience. And he told dad Hagen that's the reason you had this accident. And then he went on to talk to him about that. Well, if any of us this morning, if we're in disobedience right now, just in a moment. And then we can close the door. By having a. By having a pastor. The first reason he listed is addressed in your life. The first reason gave why they don't experience his best. So you can say this learning what belongs to you. But this morning I want to address number two that even if we do know what belongs to, we still have to have faith enough to receive. I'm becoming more skillful. Amen. So we're going to look at something Abraham's life to see what he did receive God's best. Amen. Amen. It says in Romans, chapter 4, verse 17. God was speaking of Abraham as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations. Now God said this to Abraham, of course, while he was still childless before him whom he believed. He who quickeneth the dead, who calleth those things which be not as though they were. And that phrase is the definition of faith calls those things which be not as though they were. That's how faith behaves does when something isn't there, You call it not as it is. Faith calls them those things which be not his own. So we take this definition for faith, put it in to a scripture. When we see the word faith. Let's put the definitions which be not as though they were. The just shall live by faith among those things. Amen. That's how we live. We're talking about. I mean Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Verse 18. This is what Abraham did. Who against hope believed in hope that he might become father of many nations. Verse 17. See said that God had made him. Abraham brought his faith to become what God had made him to be. God has made us. But we must bring our Father. Me. You understand that we have to call those things which be not as though they were become what he has already made us everyday experience. He has already made us to be. Amen. He has made us the healed. I'm not trying to get healed. I am the healed. He has made us rich. Jesus was made poor that we might be made rich. Where was he made poor? On the cross? He wasn't poor in his earthly lives. Why did he take on poverty? When were we made rich? When were we made rich? Not when money showed up at the new birth. At the new birth we were born a child of. Our job. Calling those which be not trying to get rich. Who I Already Amen. Amen. Amen. So you say I don't understand what you mean by becoming what I'm made to be. When a child is born born with natural talents and abilities, born with a musical ability but he won't become fully developed in that gift. Brings his heart by your chestnut born with the ability. But as we call those things which and we develop in our lives what we were born with at the new birth. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Then it goes on and says in verse 18. Believed in hope he might become father of many nations according to that which was spoken so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body. Now, when he was about a hundred years old neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. Strong in faith as he gave glory to God how come he was strong in because he considered not and he gave glory to God and being fully persuaded what God had promised God was able also to notice. Fully persuaded. When is your answer going to manifest? When you are fully persuaded. Not when you're partially persuaded, but when you're full of the revelation that which you have been born to be will become. Get full of the word full of what he says shows up when you're fully Amen. Notice it says that Abraham didn't consider his own body. How does someone weaken their faith? They consider or put their teeth. Goes to and stays on the wrong thing. To keep your faith strong. That my God shall survive. Christians need to make sure that they're not need minded what your attention is on what will flow in your Abraham did not put his attention. Yes, When symptoms show up, when light tries to. That which tries to trouble you. Abraham protected the strength of his faith by keeping it off the wrong thing. Says he considered not his own body. His body producing a child of its own. Amen. I mean, it's not even faith to believe you're healed because your body shows health. A lot of people say well, I'm healed because my body is operating correctly. But notice this. It says that Abraham considered not his own body. But it also says and he didn't consider the body of his wife. If your faith is to be strong, consider anything about yourself and you can't consider anything about someone else when you go to believe. He did not calculate his miracle based on her body strong someone else's inability, someone else's failure. Faith dismisses. That has nothing to do with me. Against me. Amen. I mean hallelujah. Hallelujah. If you don't consider your body. If you won't consider, God will be able to bring you into your health. You will dismiss yourself from receiving what He I want to read to you something dad Hagen said How many of you know you have to practice considering not you have to practice holding your attention off the wrong thing. Unless you practice every day. Practice, practice not being afraid. Matt Hagen said this the words consider not are blessed words. They are an unfailing refuge from all the fiery darts the devil casts. Fiery darts strike with force, authorize. Ignore those. Take those thoughts and consider them place for you. Dad Hagen said about these words consider not. These words are a heavenly atmosphere. If you will learn not to consider the wrong thing, you will enter into a place that is a heavenly atmosphere. Even though circumstances may surround you, you are completely unaffected by that because they can't get your attention. God prepares a table before us right in the presence. It's not the job of faith to get rid of the devils that try to be that try to surround people. It's the job of faith to ignore that surrounds to be unaffected and not considering not occupied what bring you to feel? These chandeliers have been here the whole time. None of you have sat here going like this. It's not your job to get rid of devils, it's your job to be be unaffected by their presence. How can is it possible when you refuse to consider Let your mind think about. And I so appreciate Psalm 23, verse 5 he's prepared a table before the presence. Victory is not the devil leaving you alone is you ignoring the devil that is present. Enemies are present, but they're not eating at the table. Make the devils watch you eat your victory. How do you do that? Don't consider them, turn around and give them your attention. And dad Hagen said these words sit or not heavenly atmosphere, no germ or to see Nikka. And he says do not to the physical symptoms. Problem. If you consider your own body your own problems. Hold your attention on that's the food they look for. That's what holds them. But when you ignore that so full of pride. Abraham became the father of many nations. He learned that he will not become I love what Paul said in that Philippian prison. Paul said I have learned how to be content satisfied. I am not disturbed or disquieted. Gospel. To hold your attention on the. We trust you've enjoyed this message.
