Episode 46 - Thinking Differently About Dyslexic Strengths This week's epsiode is a Rewind of one of our popular episodes, episode No.2 'Dyslexic Strengths'1 don't like to refer to dyslexia as a "Superpower". I feel that terming dyslexia as a "Superpower" alienates people, I think it sets the bar too high, and I don't believe it truly highlights the reality of dyslexia in adults. I like to look at dyslexia strengths alongside the challenges and weaknesses. This is important as I believe it helps to recognise that the challenges and our strengths go hand-in-hand. Key topics: - Talking about Dyslexic Strengths, - Not looking at Dyslexia as a "Superpower", - How we can discuss dyslexic strengths in a better way, and - How you can find your dyslexic strengths.
