Nushy Rose is currently Senior Digital Content Manager at Save the Children, and was previously Managing Editor of opinions platform Parlia, where she investigated why we think what we think using experimental multiplatform content. She was on NBCUniversal's prestigious Future Leaders Programme, and spent 2 years at Sky writing and producing viral conspiracy theory videos. https://www.theeggshellspodcast.com/team-1/nushy-rose Nushy has featured heavily in recent Eggshells episodes (Identity x3, Power & Privilege and Social Media) so it's likely you have already heard a lot of the content of our conversation. Good to hear the tales in context though (along with our witty banter)! This episode was recorded remotely on 4th May 2021. There’s quite a lot in this conversation that dates it (although “most people are mad at this conservative government” has sure stood the test of time)! But in this episode, Hannah and Lizzie find reasons for serious optimism. *Since the recording of this episode Twitter has been bought by Elon Musk. We touch on Twitter and whether or not it has a responsibility to monitor or better regulate “free speech”.
