All right, so we got a private treaty preview, and these two have come to you by someone that we've just brought onto the platform, Mr. Clayton Trammell. It was an idea that he put together that is so far been working out really well. I'm extremely excited to do these private treaty previews just due to the fact that I think it should draw some traffic, provide some clarification. And honestly, it's just something that I enjoy just talking cattle with other people, regardless if it's on an online platform or not. So today we have the Woodley family and Cannon, and then Clayton is on here with us as well. And so what we're going to do is, Matt, I'm going to have you introduce yourself. Jaden Cannon. Y' all can talk about what y' all got going on. Clayton, obviously introduce yourself. You're new to the platform here and making strides as well. Obviously y' all are calling this thing the built to climb. Y' all got nine lots of private tree calves y' all want people to hear about and. And come check out. So in my mind, let's get started.
B
Yeah, and I'll get started. You know, Jaden came to me back sometime a couple months ago and you know, for you guys that it's kind of followed cases and what we do with our Americans with three kids showing, you know, by the time you take those cattle and figure out which one you're going to show, you still got some good ones left over. And you know, you really struggle selling those cattle when you've got a pin of that your kids steers are in and you've got some steers you're trying to sell. And I'd reached out to a good friend of mine there at Colton Thigpen and Clayton Trammell as well about, you know, selling some of those cattle. And for a few years, it was great for me. You know, I. I like the industry, and there's things about the industry I don't like. And one of those personally for me is I don't like selling steers. You know, Clayton will get a kick out of this, but, you know, I go and try to buy these cattle and I don't like spending a lot of money on them. I try to be pretty tight and pretty frugal about it. And at the same time, the thing that I have the hardest thing doing is when a family comes to our pens and, you know, I may think a cast worth 10,000 dol struggle getting that amount out of my mouth. You know, when I'm looking at their kids and in the project. And, you know, I may price them at 5,000 bucks. And so I really enjoyed, as bad as it sounds, sending those cattle elsewhere and letting them kind of handle the whole sale process. Because the other reality of it is, is with three kids and you've got three fat steers at a stock show, it's hard for me to do, you know, what guys do and cater to other families when you're selling these cattle and answer the phones and deal with them throughout the course of the year when. When you've got, you know, we validated 16 steers this year. You know, it's a lot for us as a family to just focus in on them. And so it's been a great opportunity for me to send those cattle elsewhere. You know, Jaden is graduating. Cannon's also graduating. They're both going to tech or seniors this year. And. And she just approached me, and she said, hey, would you consider me selling the calves? And at first, I was. I was pretty blown away with it, that she would even want to take on the responsibility and to try to do that. And, of course, a dad of a daughter, you really have a hard time saying no to anything. And so I talked to Clissa about it and decided that, you know, hey, why not? You know, let's. Let's give them an opportunity. And we visited with Cannon Buckner about it, too, and he was all on board with it, because the reality of it is, so many of these kids, they really get enamored by this industry about the time they're getting out, you know, then they go to college. And for a lot of them, they're three to four years to where they're kind of removed from it, but yet they still have the passion. And to me, this is a way for them to step into it from a. From a different aspect. And, you know, next year, when these. These cattle sell and they've got to be clipped and families have questions, well, you know, they'll be in college. But they also know that they've got a responsibility to cater to those needs and help them. And so I think it's a unique opportunity they have, and it's one that we have no idea how the sale is going to go. It may be great. It may be a learning experience for the two of them. But, you know, I'm 43 years old, and every time I try to sell one or buy one, I learned something at the same time. That's kind of how we handed the reins off. And I've had a Few guys call me and ask me, and I just say, hey, you just. You need to talk to Jaden and Cannon. This is kind of their sale, and they're going to run it and do it how they want to. And they've clipped everything and broke everything in between fat stock shows. They've been coming down, putting in all the work. And so we. We've turned it over to them. And here tonight, you're going to hear Jaden and Cannon. They're going to talk about the cattle because it's their sale.
A
Awesome. Well, Jaden, Cannon, how about y' all talk to me as to why y' all wanted to take on the responsibility, why y' all decided to do this, and what either your customers will get the benefit out of, and y' all as well.
C
Man, we are super blessed. I mean, with the opportunity from cases that. And Matt and Kliss have kind of taken us under their wing and kind of set us free with the reins and just seeing what we can do. Like Matt said, as we seem to age out of this show and deal, I mean, you kind of start to figure things out. And that's kind of what I've been telling the people that have came to see us today. I mean, like, we're just now getting the barn all rigged up for show steers. I mean, that's how it is. But, I mean, man, we are super blessed with a good set of calves, a good set of teachers, and, you know, I can't wait to see where this thing goes. For sure.
D
I agree kind of with what Canon said. And then from my side of things, it's just different because I've been watching these calves grow up since they hit the ground. So it's really just exciting to get to do all the things that my dad's got to do for so long and help actually sell them and get to learn a whole lot of new things about how. How fun it is to be in the industry and to get to sell them and. And just be a part of it all myself. So I'm definitely very excited about it and to get it going for all the people that are coming to look awesome.
A
Well, I hope that we can get some traffic headed yalls way, for sure. Clayton, go ahead, introduce yourself. Obviously, you're new to the platform. You got a lot of things to offer. I want you to go ahead and do so. And then after that, we'll go through the lots. Yeah.
E
Clayton Trammell here. Very excited for the opportunity that UN EmpowerU has provided me with. I Think it's something that not only that I can bring value to the platform and what you guys are trying to do, but at the same time, vice versa with you guys and my family, we've relocated to Oklahoma and had a lot going on. Been raising, selling show steers, so for probably 15 plus years now and just been looking for something to add to my life and to what helps provide for our family and be able to continue to provide for the sellers and consumers in this industry. It's an industry that I'm extremely passionate about and look forward to everything to come. The nothing excites me more as far as doing this and starting tonight than to be a part of the Woodley family's private bid off here. The Woodley family is a family that's extremely important to me. Their friendship has been incredible. Watching Jaden, Genly and Weston grow up to the fine young humans that they are is, has been nothing short of amazing. And if you know the Woodley family, they do the thing, they do things the right way. Matt and Calissa have instilled a great foundation in those kids and their program. And anybody that buys an animal from them will be extremely lucky to be a part of what they have going on. And before we get started, just want to congratulate Jaden on that big red Angus win there at San Antone. Sure was fun to watch from afar. I don't know who talked your dad into that calf, but he must, he must be doing something right.
B
I think it was his curl toad. When I saw him for the very first time, I was like, that's, that's a breed champion at San Antonio.
A
That's awesome. Well, to start off, Yalls built to climb. You Obviously start lot one off being tagged. 323. He's the gold American out of a Holy Ghost. One of my favorite colors on an American steer, in my biased opinion. I love this one's presence from the side and I absolutely love his hip and hind leg posture. Y' all kept him clipped out. I think this one's a big, big, big time contender at Fort Worth. I can't gauge how his size is to the video that y' all sent me, but if I could be a betting man, I'd have to say he's an awesome middleweight at Fort Worth. Could be wrong, but I think in the end, if that doesn't work out, I do feel as if just in terms of his shape up high, he'd be a real nice looking calf as well. This would be an American. He's A September born, y'. All. In terms of how he's bred. It'll be a Holy Ghost out of a gert cow. What I'd like to know is what the gert cow is and how y' all have acquired her, why y' all decided to pair her to Holy Ghost. Obviously, this would be the silver calf that is, in my mind, extremely proportional, extremely balanced. He has a big, stout, burly hind leg that flexes at the surface. And obviously y' all have him quartered there, but he reads to have some pretty nice hair that I think an individual would have utilizing over the summer as well.
B
Yeah. So we had the opportunity when Jaden was going to be a senior, I reached out to Brandon Horn and just told him. I said, hey, I need to look at using a bull that's going to be a cleanup bull that are better than ours. And had no idea that he would give us the opportunity to use not only a good bull, but one of those name bulls. And so we sorted through them and. And I'll be honest, on the ph DSTH side of our cow genetics, you know, I don't know them in and out. Through trial and error, we have a pretty good idea what they are. And when we were sorting through those, I was like, I can't have a pH. I don't want a DS. And he was like, hey, let's try the Holy Ghost. Like, I. This thing is working. He said, but we need to turn him out and breed cows, all different type of cows. He said, I'm getting a handle on this. And as you both know here in the last two years, it seems like that's been a bull that's been around for a while, but, man, he's really dialed in and figured out how to breed those things. And so just, you know, just an opportunity that we had and very fortunate for horn livestock for allowing us to use that bull. And it's been nothing short of a blessing on the bottom side of that cow. She's one that goes back to a bull that we call Panda, which was a checks in the mail deal. So she's not a full girt. She's going to be a half blood gurt. So bulls down. Maybe she's, you know, three, 16, maybe a quarter at most. A cow that you look at is in just shaggy built right square pin, like, really good cow. One that you've always think, like, that ought to make like a fort Worth one. And it really, to be honest, kind of struggle to find that niche with her. Had some good calves man, when this one hit the ground and he took about two steps when he was about two weeks old, I was like, good lord, we've got something here finally. And that's the 323. And I'll let them talk to you more about him.
A
Man.
B
I agree.
C
I got a couple of calves myself that are have that same holy ghost on the bull side. I mean, I really love that bull. I think he pulls and throws a bunch of positive traits, whether it's extra mass, dimension or power, no matter if that if those cattle are slick or haired. But at the same time, I think they maintain proportional balance and that attractive look up front for what it takes to be competitive in the show ring.
D
Yeah, for sure. So I'll just go ahead and kind of talk about what we've seen in the lot one. 323. He. He was the one for me and Cannon, personally. Whenever we look through this set, he was the one that we were like, wow. Like, he just brings the look. He. He's really cool, cool made and he just came to the top of the lineup. Pretty simple for us. But this calf is just extremely soft bodied. He's big, ribbed. He still maintains a really good look from the side. He's square built, stands on good feet and legs, and he still has plenty of shape down his top and quarter. We think he could be a really scary good one for Fort Worth and just super, super gentle. He's definitely one of the nicer ones that we have in the barn. When it comes to first time showman looking for one that's just super nice. He's definitely up there in that proportion.
A
Absolutely. Anything else y' all want to tack on to that calf before we move on to lot two?
C
Man, Just something that we really believe in. And whoever gets a hold of that one, I think we'll have a sheer winner.
A
Awesome. Lot two will be next. And this will obviously be yalls no tag shorthorn calf. Uh, he is the oldest of the group. He's an on the rocks out of a cow. Y' all call 1532. I got a feeling that this is a canon ordeal just due to watching poles and all kinds of things. Knowing what calves you show, I could be wrong, but that's kind of just a first thought process in my mind. Obviously y' all sent me the video of him. I think that is a really dense haired calf that's got an awesome set of feet and legs Burley made. I think he's an extremely big time contender there at Fort Wayne Worth.
C
That's kind of what I'm thinking too. Me and my brother actually raised this one. And like you said, he sired by Non Rocks which is truly brings a lot of power to the table. I do believe that this calf is one of the safest options that that cow has thrown. Like you said, I think this one is big bone, big footed and extremely square. Square built while carrying a lot of shape down his top. Like you said, man, I'm a big fan of that cow. I mean I don't think she's thrown one at Texas Majors that is placed outside of the top three and at least got a brand. But like you said, I think this one's a really good Fort Worth calf. And whoever gets this one will have really fun time feeding and competing down the road.
A
Jaden, how about you? You got any thoughts on the calf?
D
Yeah, he's. He's one that came to us a little bit later. Cannon came, came up to me and my dad and just kind of asked if the calf could come down, if we could look at him and just see what our thoughts were on him, if we thought he was good enough. And we were very much more than impressed to see him for the first time and think that he was. That he was definitely more than ready to. To be in our sale. And he's. He's one of my favorites. That's why I think he's a good lot to position. He's. He's a shorthorn and you can ask my dad. We've never been shorthorn people, so it's definitely something different for us to get to see. But I think he's, he's definitely a very, very good calf.
E
Yeah. From. From somebody that had a. Had a good run here at the this last year's Fort Worth show. I think this calf is one that. That reads to be that guy's kind just. Just ultra big backed did big, big legged. Just one that. That reads to be a real easy feeder. Awesome hair coat. Just think that the guy has a. Has a world of future as far as Fort Worth. 20 for sure.
A
Yes, sir. Well, obviously lot three is next. This will be tag 70, which y' all label as an exotic. He was an August born. This is another one out of Holy Ghost on the in God gold dust. Cal Yalls talk to me about him. Obviously in the video I got to see him a move around the pen. Y' all kept him clipped out. In my mind he reads just a little green, but I think that doesn't work to his demise. It's a really good Structured calf that I think with time feeding a little tl, he could be an awesome, probably lightweight, possible, possible middleweight there at Fort Worth, but also reads just from over his back shape over his pin set. Could be the real nice slicking calf down the road maybe at Houston or something like that.
D
Absolutely. I totally agree. For me personally, we've always been ones to just look at the Americans and see the Americans. And this year we were very impressed with this one from when he hit the ground especially he's out of a bigger white Charolais cow and she's always had hairy ones, but never anything that we were just in love with. So this year we were very excited whenever he hit the ground. But this white calf is probably one of the more attractive calves we have in the set, especially from the side. He's long necked, clean chested, he ties really high out of his shoulder and then he's just square built and extremely good bodied. And he still carries plenty of shape down to his topping his hip. He's also pretty good haired and I think he could be really fun to look at in the show ring. And he is definitely another one that is puppy dog gentle, just super sweet. From the first time we tied him up, he just had no problem with it. Totally gets around and just all the good things. So we've been very excited to look at that one grow for sure.
A
Cannon, any thoughts on him?
C
I like, like y' all said Matt was talking about earlier, I mean, I've kind of always been the guy to go out there and pick the most punchy, I mean, high dollar looking calf. But I mean, being, being a part of this and around this Woodley family, I mean, you, you start to learn things about how one should be fed. And I think those green calves, I mean that you got to take a chance on them because those are the true winners. I mean, when it's all said and done, I think this one is really good. Very balanced, very good. He just needs a feed bucket. And I think that whoever owns them, I mean, I think the banners, the picture.
A
Yes, sir. Well, next will be lot four. Y' all label this one tag 310. This would be an American. He's a September born, y'.
B
All.
A
In terms of how he's bred, it'll be a holy ghost. Obviously, this would be the silver calf that is in my mind, extremely proportional, extremely balanced. He has a big, stout, burly hind leg that flexes at the surface. And obviously y' all have him quartered there, but he reads to have some Pretty nice hair that I think an individual would have utilizing over the summer as well.
B
You want to talk about slick shearing, that calf is absolutely incredible. Candice got some stuff to say on him.
C
I agree. That calf is one that we really like and he's he sure he for sure catches your eye out of the group. We really like that calf because of how flexible he is when he gets out and moves. We believe that that calf is extremely comfortable on the go. Like I said, big bodied, soft made while still carrying plenty of shape and being square built.
D
Yeah.
A
Jaden, you got any thoughts?
D
For sure. Whenever me and my dad had this one and we pulled him in there and we decided we're going to quarter him just he didn't have the craziest bulls hair coat and we were like, well, we can see what he looks like better whenever he's quartered. And my first impression when we took the hair off his back was wow. Because I was so impressed by his top shape being so young and green. I was very, very impressed with the kind of body that he had for being, for being just so green and young. That was my first impression. And ever since then he's been definitely one of my favorites for sure.
A
I'm glad. So lot 5 is tag 14. This will be a silver quartered American. He is a holy ghost over a stock option. In my mind reading the video on this calf. Old ribbed, big hit, awesome hind leg that utilizes it well. I think he's got great character. I think in my mind this cap's an awesome San Antonio prospect or potential at Houston as well. Y' all talk to me what Yalls thoughts are.
D
Yeah, absolutely. So this one for me, my initial thought whenever we quartered this one too was that he looked a whole lot like the one that I had at Dallas. That was the reserve heavyweight American. He was a bigger gray calf and in my opinion they have a lot of similarities. And just being one of the stoutest calves that I've ever shown. This one looks very similar. He's big, bone, big bodied, he's extremely square out of his hip and then he's also deep ribbed and soft made which makes him really manageable to feed. Whenever we take a look at him and just think about him, we think he brings a lot of power to the table and he's definitely one that when people have come by today they wanted to see him out just because he, he's definitely one of the bigger, bigger bodied and cool looking ones that we've, we've gotten our set Weston, I'll
E
chime in on this one or go ahead Clayton. Yeah, I had a, like Mr. Bloomberg said it, San Antonio and I don't have much of a poker face either. I had a good talk with Matt about this one. This one, this one caught my attention and I from a very early time when I started studying these cattle. And you talk about one that might get overlooked because of his color pattern in a, in a pen with a soft yellow, soft haired yellow one and a soft haired white one and a big old barely shorthorn but, but one that you sit there and study him. He just really doesn't have a hole. And one that reads to be a real easy feeding type. That's awesome on his feet and legs. Big rib shape today. Awesome look from the side. Just scoots around that pen with just the utmost comfort. I like this calf quite a bit and I advise everybody to pay attention here because this one could be a real, real good one.
A
Well, lot six is next. Y' all call this one tag five. He's obviously another great hided American. This one is a holy ghost out of an in God we Trust cow of yalls. Talk to me about him. I, I do think that of the entire grouping he's from what I see on the video, a smaller calf that's a little greener or a little more behind. But again I don't think that takes away from his quality. That's a really big haired calf that I think will be an awesome lightweight at Fort Worth or if someone wanted to push him hard and get him to the backdrop at Houston or Austin. He could be an awesome big time ABC as well. I love his structure, I love his balance from the side. He hits me as a really nice quality calf, man.
C
I agree with that 100%. I mean he, he is actually one of my personal favorites in the set just because of how well built and complete he is. Just like you said, he just needs a feed bolt and needs to get out there and go. Although he may be a little bit greener and younger in his kind right now, we really think that that's going to benefit him as he continues to grow and mature. I mean I think like you said, if you want to push him, get him Fort Worth or I mean I think that that's a great Houston slicking calf as well. He's extremely well built from the ground up, square made through his hip and carries a lot of natural shape down his top while still having that freaky front that you want to see a show steer have. I Truly believe if you want to be at the backdrop, this is definitely one that you need to study.
A
Jayden, you got any thoughts?
D
Yeah. So kind of like what Canon said, this one's definitely a very, very, very fun one for me to look at. I think he's a freak show, in my opinion. And he's actually got back. He's got fancy genetics in him, which is what, in my opinion, I, I think that that's what makes him so cool looking. That will be on the cow side. So I think that helps a lot with how freaky looking he is and his character especially. And I think he's just really cool when everyone that's asked to see him out today, he comes walking out of the pin and they're like, wow, he's got that look. And I completely agree with that. I think every time he turns the gate or a corner at a show, that's going to be the judge's thought every time.
E
If you know the Woodley family, you know, the fancy cow and she needs no introduction, she's been incredible for them and their kids success. And this calf here, it's just so hard to make an American have the character that he has and just be so ultra clean and tight, you know, in his jawline all the way down to his chest floor and that necktie so high. Just a real, real incredibly built creature that, like they both said, just needs a feed bucket and stand back and watch him do what he's going to do for sure.
A
Well, next will be lot 7. This will be tag 78. This is another lighter gray American. He will be a holy ghost over one of one of the cows Life fest. He's bring us. Y' all kept this one clipped out. You didn't quarter him. And I, I think that's a very big highlight. To show of how dense hair he is, I think this is an awesome Fort Worth prospect. I absolutely love his build. I think his hip and hind leg posture is. Is extremely sought after for what's going on right now, especially there at Fort Worth. I think with the right time, especially working hair, I think that that calf could look really, really awesome out there. But as well as just being slicked off, he's got awesome character as well. Talk to me about what y' all think about him and what y' all think his best endpoint would look like.
D
Absolutely. So, I mean, out of all the calves we have in our group, you do look at this one and think he's maybe a little bit greener, and that's definitely true. But that's okay in my opinion. I've always looked at him and they've always been green as babies. So for me, I can see through that. But I still think he's a really good built calf that just needs the gas put on him. He's square hipped, he's big bodied, he's really good balance from the side, and he's got a sporty hind leg. He was out. Had a lot of people looking at him today too. And he's still got that same freak show that I think the the last slot has. He's super cool fronted and we think once someone gets him home and puts him on feed that he's going to be a really good one to come on and be a cool look for Fort Worth or even at Houston Slicked. I think he could be cool anywhere that you see fit for him to go.
A
Cannon, any thoughts?
C
Just like you said, I mean, you think Fort Worth on that calf and after listening to the Yalls podcast on the post game interview right after Fort Worth, I mean, that's something that I think about is that sporty hind leg. I mean, being something that that guy looks for as soon as Kaf comes in the ring. I mean, I think that that that thing is built for Fort Worth and fits that guy to a tee. Absolutely.
A
Well, lot eight will be next. Y' all call this one tag 21. It's another American. He's a holy ghost out of one of Yalls. Unstoppable females. Girt females, y'.
B
All.
A
Y' all quartered this one. I do love his rib shape. I mean, that's a really big ribbed steer. That's got an awesome hip and hind leg posture. He gets out and goes. He's long necked, high tying. In my mind, I think he's an awesome potential heavyweight at San Antonio, depending on what area of Texas he gets in. But talk to me about what y' all think about him.
D
Absolutely. So this one's also been another favorite of mine. He's got fancy genetics in him as well when it comes to the cow. And that'll be actually out of the fancy's mom cow. So that one's. That one's definitely real close when it comes to those genetics. And so that's really exciting to get to see one of those get to come out and let somebody be a part of. So this one, we actually kind of decided to add this one a little bit later. Me and my dad stepped back and looked at him in the pen. He was kind of like, why not that one. He doesn't have a whole lot of holes. He's really cool looking. So we quartered him and we were. We were a big fan. Like you said. He's really big ribbed. He's another one. We. We went to quarter him and his top was just impeccable in my opinion. He's extremely stout, made of his hip. He opens up with a lot of shape down the top and he carries that power all the way to his lower quarter. And we think he's just the kind that's going to keep improving as he continues to get fed. I don't think he gets any worse. I think he gets better and he's going to. He's going to be a really fun one to see feed out for sure.
C
For sure.
A
Can any thoughts?
C
Man, y' all hit the nail on the head on that one. A really good calf like, like they said. I mean, we decided to throw this one in the group a little bit later, but I think that that's a really good fault. Free calf that is hard to find a hole in. Man 1 Whoever gets this one, I mean, they just need to put the feed bowl to him and like most of these calves, I mean, he'll just get out there and do what he's made to do for sure.
A
Well, lot nine's next. Y' all call this one S Dash one. This would be an exotic calf that is a little smoky on an mab girt cow. Maybe tried to make him an American but didn't quite get there. But I think as an exotic, he's just as competitive. I think with this hair quality, especially coming from the bull. I've seen the bull in person and I've seen a lot of his calves as well. That is a really dense haired calf that's got an awesome hind leg on him. He utilizes his lower joints really well. I think he's an awesome Division 1 there at Fort Worth, but in my mind, I think he's on awesome dual purpose calf as well. Reads to be wide pinned, big hip. They could slick off real well.
C
Yeah, this calf is actually in a consignment that we're excited to offer with a group of K sift cavs. Matt could probably tell you a little bit more about this one than I can, but I think that this one's extremely good haired, really attractive through his front third and square built from the ground up while standing on a solid set of feet and legs. I think this calf looks like the kind that should really come on as he continues to mature.
B
Yeah, and he's one that, you know, definitely not comfortable at this stage calling him American. Made some rounds this week and had some guys call some calves from Americans that would make me think, this one can be a Brahmin. You know, the way that calf is bred and the fact that he does, you know, have a shot on both sides, I would not be surprised at all if that one sheared off and you kind of stand back and go, hey, let's make them tell us. No, but definitely one right now. We don't want anybody stepping. Stepping in and just assuming like, hey, we. We bought an American. Go the first jackpot show and get classed out. Realize charolay is where we need to be. Good calf. The stone family raised this one. The cow is. Is phenomenal to look at those little smokies. You know, they come small and they just get bigger in time. So good calf. There definitely could be an American at some point in time, but just not comfortable calling that today.
C
Awesome. Awesome.
A
Well, that rounds out Yalls sale. Is there any other extra comments or. Or anything you'd like to let the listeners know in terms of the lots as a whole or anything, Any cool stories on anything that y' all would like to elaborate on? And then after that, we can kind of come to a conclusion for sure.
B
You know, I would just tell you for one, thank you for the opportunity to come on and. And letting these kiddos get experience into what it's going to be like in selling these calves. And I just want to reiterate to the families that are, you know, used to having somebody kind of not hold their hand, but take this journey along with them that Jaden and Can are both dedicated to do that. Whether it's, you know, giving some feeding advice or whether it's even clipping them, showing up to a show and supporting them, they're ready to develop those relationships. I think the cattle speak for themselves. We did not bring any. Any problem cattle this sale. We brought. We brought good sound cattle that we stand behind. It's a very good group. And I think without a doubt that, you know, throughout the sale this. This West Texas weekend, there's going to be a lot of high cattle bulk, and some of them are going to turn out, and some of them maybe not so much. But I feel extremely confident in this group of cattle that they're offering, and I look forward to seeing these two develop the relationships with the families moving forward.
A
Absolutely. Jaden Cannon, any thoughts?
C
Man, we are super thankful to be on this podcast and be able to talk our Set of cattle. I mean, growing up in the industry, you got to look forward to what you're going to do next and how you can leave your impact and mark on those that are falling after you. And I think me and Jaden have talked about this many times and raising show cattle and being sellers to the beef industry. I mean, and that's just something that I think everyone should dream of and something that we're very thankful and blessed to be a part of with these cases, genetics, and that we're super thankful to be on this podcast once again. And we inspire and hope that everyone comes to listen on this and hear our thoughts on this set of cattle and our thoughts on the industry for sure.
A
One thing I'd like to ask before we wrap this up, y' all call it a private treaty kind of foam bid off. So talk to me about the layout of that and how that's going to go. So everybody that is interested knows what to do or how to do.
D
Absolutely. So I can kind of talk about that. So we're calling it private treaty kind of foam bit off. But we've had people. You're more than welcome. Come take a look at them all weekend. We're going to kind of close off bids. Monday at 5 is when we're starting and we're going to do where we have a online deal, we have an online setup where the people that come by, we can just shoot you a text and you can open that up and put your name, your phone number, and then whatever cabs you're interested in, just go ahead and put their tag number down and then put the bidding price to start off what you think that they start off of. So Monday at 5, that's when we'll start calling everybody back that we have on our list. Just whatever you put down that you are interested in, we'll start calling people and letting you know what our. Our starting bid is. And then from there, we'll just let it go and see. See who. Who's really interested in the calves that we have for this set.
A
Clayton, you got any thoughts to kind of wrap it up as well?
E
Yeah, I just want to thank the Woodley family for coming on, and I'm extremely thankful for being able to be a part of it. Anybody with interest in these cattle, I encourage you to jump full in. The Woodley family is somebody that you would want to associate yourself with that's going to be there from start to finish. Jaden and Cannon have, like I said, got a great foundation started with them, and I know how hard they work at it, and I think they'll do the same for every buyer in the sale. So bid with confidence. The cattle are great. The reputation and genetics speak for themselves. So jump all in.
C
Awesome. Awesome.
A
With that said, once again, I'm very grateful for the opportunity to do now my second private treaty preview. I think that this is a really deep set, awesome set of cattle with some two intelligent young minds that are trying to do big things. I'm glad that we were able to push you all to get on here and expose kind of what you all are trying to do and what the main goal is. So with all this said, empowerment's here, and thank you all for tuning in.
