Awesome. So it's close to 10 o' clock this morning on Sunday, December 21st. This preview is going to come out Monday the 22nd. I got another real neat opportunity to sit down with Mr. Charlie Wilson. He runs that Wilson Cattle Company and they have a bread heifer and cow sale on December 27th on SC online sales. To be able to have this opportunity is pretty neat because the cattle that are being offered are very high quality and very diverse. So with that said, Mr. Wilson, if you'd like to introduce yourself and what Wilson Cattle Company stands for and what Yalls goal is, after that we'll dive into the lots.
B
Yes, thank you very much for having me on. Wilson Cattle Company is, is myself, Charlie and my wife Devon. Our boys, Hendricks and Riggins have multiple sales throughout the year selling steers and open heifers. But this is one that we really look forward to. Been building it up here now for five years. I'm with a good buddy of ours, Ginsini's down there in Illinois. Just like to to be able to sell high quality stock for other people's operations. Club calf and maternal. There's a little bit of everything. And this year, honestly we dug a little deeper than normal just wanting to make this sale something special. Added a few genetic lots, few semen lots. I think it's a pretty stout offering.
A
Absolutely. For sure. Well, there's not necessarily a better way. You can start off like lot one. I mean she's an in God We Trust extra special monopoly bread Heife. Talk to me as to why you decided to AI her to Jackie Moon and kind of give me a brief summary of the heifer and what you think she'll be able to raise.
B
Yeah. Yep, very good start of the sale here we did, as you'll see through the offering on them colored breads, we decided to use Jackie Moon, a bowl of Ty Webster's that I've heard good things about. I guess the main reason was, is mating these colored ones, the black bulls. I didn't want people to get them rat tails, so we went with a the colored bull. But this heifer I think is very special. Extremely, extremely powerful. Really good on her feet and legs. Honestly. Somebody called the other day, I said it looks like one that could win the state fair market efforts. I mean that's how she's built. I think we did, I will say on all these, we did DNA test them. We don't have that back yet, but we'll have it here in the next day or two. So that will all get posted So a few of these if they get come back clean and get lucky, I think really good opportunity.
A
Absolutely. For future reference for anyone is interested in buying or what bulls would you think that she made sue real?
B
Well, I mean honestly, I would say my first go to would probably be how great. I guess I live a little more on the edge though. Whether she's a carrier or clean, I think it's worth the try. And if, if not that, I think there's a plethora of colored bulls southern bred genetics that you could raise some show steers out of her. But I, I think how great would be the way to go on the first flush.
A
Awesome. Awesome. Well then lot two, you got a bankroll a Huda man. She's a fall of 2023. Another bread he. We all call her a simmental and you're retaining 50% embryo interest on her. So talk to me about why you're offering her and what you think her potential is.
B
Yes, this one's special. Very special. As you'll see also through the offering, we do have a handful of falls that we held around. This heifer has a little more maturity to it. Obviously. These are some embryos I purchased from Sullivan's 1602 y would be a Huda man back on that 6640 that was supreme in Louisville for them has raised a bunch a bunch of stuff across the country. This one, from the day she came out, I knew she would be perfect for the bread heifer sale. Didn't even try to sell her as an open. I mean I think this one is pretty versatile in terms of being able to raise some show steers or go back maternal. I think, I think there again, here I am. How great would be awesome under a steers or if you want to go kind of on that inside like a bull, like one for all. Really well to make you a female.
A
Yes sir. Absolutely. Well, with that said, you got lot three Next, another colored club calf type female. She's a red Rocky. Loving the business. Also. AI to Jackie Moon. What do you think? What do you think of this female and who do you think she pairs to well for future progeny?
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this one, a handful of these I, I, I picked up or purchased as opens and a handful we raised this one as I wrote in the footnotes, Dalton Lind out there in Colorado posted her I think off Snapchat or Facebook and I gobbled her up real quick. That one, she hit me pretty hard. A lot of people wanted to buy her last fall for a market effort and I just hung on to her. Probably not quite as far along in terms of condition as a few of these. But I mean her pieces are absolutely out there. I mean, I'd say go back to the king and read her to in God. I mean, I think that's the best club Cap Boulder is out there and I'd say that would be a home run.
A
Well then in lot four, you're offering a bread main Angus. She's also bred to May we all. She'll be a garth over that KD108Y. If you want to talk to me about her just kind of genetic backing and. And what you think she'll be able to provide in terms of cattle.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So there is actually this one and the next one are two show heifers that are our son Hendrick showed there at Junior Nationals last year. This one was a fall that we found down at Nick Fitzsimmons in Oklahoma. I think this one has a bright future ahead of her. She is a full sib to one Fitz sold to Sullivan's a couple years back for 200. That heifer actually just sold a daughter out of hits different. I think ended up bringing 80 or 85 on Fitz's live sale he just had. So this tower would be a full sib of that one's mother. We are keeping half of this one. I see this one down the road. We love the main Andrew breed and I think this one to generate some main females and even some main bulls. I think could be pretty interesting for a Garth. Lots of power, really good sized. I think again, one for all all me. I mean there's a bunch of bulls that I would try this one too and genetically goes back. I think she was originally raised up there at Priors in western Iowa out of that Luton Cal. There's. It's done real, real well.
A
Well then, Lot 5. Another special one to y' all that that your son showed. He said she's a do what's right Monopoly sp bred to the Jackie Moon bull. Talk to me about what you think she'll work to in terms of sires and what you see her future as.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this is one that we found from Jason Minnert last year. Pretty special animal. He went and Hendricks actually went with me and picked her up as an open and when we got her home, he let her ride off the trailer. We knew she would be just a perfect fit for him. This heifer we showed just a little bit there last spring. She is moderate in her kind, extremely big Footed, stout, really, really good bodied, real nice haired. As you can see, she's got a little bit of different pigmentation in there. Not pure white. Kind of got some spots on her. This one we are offering 50% with option to double. I mean I wouldn't be mad at all if they didn't want to double. I think this one for Asian show steers could be pretty fun also there again I'd go back to N God, I do think how great. Could probably raise something pretty cool. Maybe get something a little different colored. I do think this one for show steers could be real, real fun.
A
Well then in Lot 6 you got a maintainer female that is bred to may we all. She's a sweet willy comfort zone. Talk to me about what you think. I mean her presence and feature to me is pretty impressive.
B
Yep, another fall got some exercise to her. Extremely, extremely big footed. Like I wrote in the footnotes for this heifer's length, length of body, length of neck, length of front. It's crazy how much body and just dimension she's got when you get behind her. Another one kind of like a few before I think is dual purpose. I think you could be this one the main bulls and raise some really nice main females. I think you could go cub calf, downsize her and raise some show steers that are very high quality. This is one that if you were to walk and actually see this offering, darn sure sticks out. She's got that headed presence, huge feet, like I said, real, real nice hair. And honestly, this one should be clean by pedigree as far as the thpha.
A
Well then you got a off colored. Here I am in Lot 7 and she's also out of the business. Done right man Amongst Boys. Also AI to that Jackie Moon. She'll be a spring of 2024. I mean absolutely insane color wise to be a here I am definitely unique and different.
B
Yes, good buddy Nick Schroeder from Ohio sent us a group of opens there last fall and this one was in there. Honestly, I could have sold each one of them as open show heifers. They were high enough quality and looked good enough. But I knew they would be sale highlights for this bread sale. And this one was darn sure one of them. Like you said, unique terms of color pattern for here I am. This one is so unique in terms of her smoothness, her structure, her length. Honestly for me, in a good way, she's a little more maternal in her build and not club cap, which is very interesting. With three shots at club calf in her pedigree, I think you could breed this one to the stoutest, most pulled apart club calf bull. And she's still going to handle it. Her joints are awesome. She's good at the ground. Her shoulder sets in her nice. I think this one could be pretty cool down the road just being able to handle anything you throw at her.
A
On lot 8 you have a full tilt data bank. Whiskey. She's a fall of 20, 23. Be a high main female that is AI to May we all. What do you see the future looking like for her and what do you think she needs to be paired to. To make like some maternal females?
B
Yes, yes. Very, very intriguing effort. This was one I found from Fabers out there in western Iowa. Come out of their program another fall. Got a little extra size maturity to her. Really good looking joints and feet and legs are, I mean as close to perfect as you can get. I think for a high main. I think the only high main in the offering. But for one of them I think has got the parts and pieces in the main breed right now that you can breed on. And there's a handful of bulls that would really click up. I would go to one for all right off the bat. I also think something like a made man could work really, really well or a game on them bulls that are a little bigger, real rugged. I think she's pretty enough, smooth enough, sound enough that it'll all click up good.
A
Well then in Lot 9 you kind of got some outcross genetics. In this female. It's a follow me Ferrari tamale. She's a spring of 2024 and bred to may we all. What do you think she works best on? Like obviously you put how great here I am type stuff, but she's definitely different for sure.
B
Yes, yes, this one is interesting. Another one like that sweet lily Willie above. When you walk into the pen, you're drawn towards her. I mean she's walking on her leg hair. Her body is tremendous. Her pin set and back is huge. I mean, I think just looks like a creature. I mean you could go her build. Her build reads show steer her pedigree. I think you could go maternal. Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong. It will be very interesting on the new owner which way they decide to go on this one. I also believe this one should be clean. Like I said, it will be posted. I did test everything here. Should be posted in the next couple of days. But yeah, this one's, this one's interesting. Good sized. Like I said, really, really good Bodied and I mean hair for days.
A
Well then in Lot 10 you have a maintainer simmental female. She's a top secret broker. Spring of 2024 she was obviously AI to the May we all. What do you think that she looks like in the future?
C
Yep, yep.
B
Another one that come from buddy Nick out there in Ohio. Really maternal in her built really nice, structured, really smooth shouldered, good sized. I know sometimes these the people that don't come and look at them, it's. It's hard to read size. This one is right in terms of size, not too moderate. I think honestly if you could for me if you can find a maternal bull to take a little bit of that color off for to raise show heifers, I think it'd be awesome. Or if you go show steer wise I think colors may be a little more accepted. You could go in and breed her to two or three of the most popular ones and I think it would be just fine.
A
Well then Latin 11 you got a chosen one over that 138E cow. She's a hard whiskey 138M it's a fall 2023 she's AI demay we all. What do you think that she works to on like club calf stuff.
C
Yep.
B
So this one another creature, big ball out, ginormous legs. Everything works right. Joints are good, ankles are good. I mean this thing is built like a 1500 pound show steer. She is doubt obviously got club calf on the top side for them guys that want to hit home runs. I would run it back right there and do her to how great in God. I mean I would guess this one's probably a carrier. Like I said it'll be posted. I mean just one has such out there pieces that I can't see how it won't work. If that makes sense.
A
Absolutely.
B
For sure. Big and stout for sure.
A
Yeah. Well then in Lot 12 you have the first red one that you're offering and she's a dream maker for that. Lucy's gym 7690. She's a spring of 2024. You have her AI to sweet Willie, talk to me about why you paired her to that bull and what you think her future looks like for the shorthorn breed.
B
Yes, yes. So hired man Jordan, new to us here this year, doing an exceptional job. Absolutely love shorthorns and has brought a handful into our herd. Not the biggest fan but he has brought the right kind. He brought some shorthorns with some muscle, some bone and cattle that can survive and don't have to be Baby. This one, extremely high quality. As you see, they are retaining 50% embryo interest in there. I think shorthorn that has some power, has some width, as some body structure. Still really, really nice. I'll be honest, we don't have any shorthorn semen in the tank, so we bred it a sweet willy. In my eyes. Sweet willy has the red gene. If you can get yourself a half blood shorthorn, half blood mane, dual registered, I think that would be 100% for sure.
A
And you'll be retaining 50% embryo interest on that one, correct?
B
Correct.
C
Yep.
A
Awesome. Well, then in Lot 13 you have a promise keeper, primo fullback, and this one will be a maintainer. And she's been AI'd to full tilt. What do you think that calf will look like? Why'd you decide to go that route with that bull? And what do you think her future looks like?
C
Yep, yep.
B
Like we said in the intro, this sale has not been possible without our good friends the Janinis from Illinois. This is one that they had brought to the sale this year. Extremely big bodied, very maternal or build still plenty of power. Really, really nice hair. Goes back to their. I believe that's their China cow, purebred Angus that has done big things for them. Full tilt. Like you can see above. We have one of them in the offering, I think is a main bull that maybe has gotten underutilized but is a Cavanese option. I think that'll click up really, really well with this one because of her extra substance, extra body. I think that could be a really nice first gap.
A
Well, then in lot 14 you have an icon 300 which is an exit ramp rumor mill. This will be a spring of 2024. She's a maintainer and a demaywee all. What do you think of this one? I mean, obviously it says the first of the two icon 300 daughters. So what do you think of her future looking like?
C
Yep, yep.
B
And I'll pair these two together. Soon we get to that other lot. But two full sibs. 300, if you know our operation, I mean, has done big, big things. We can't thank that cow enough. We actually raised that cow, sold her, bought her back, and she's been a great donor for us. Icon on her, worked really, really well. Both of these daughters are moderate in her kind, extremely powerful, extremely good structured, really good bodied. I think versatile cattle that you can go man and jewelry. You could go club calf. Both of them obviously are baldies. A little bit of white in their flank. I think just cattle that are going to be easy keeping cattle that are going to be around for a long time and cattle that are going to.
A
Generate well in lot 15 you have a brilliance walks alone. RJ, 420 or 422. This will be a spring of 2024. She's a bread. She is th false from what you've said and she's not been AI'd but she's been exposed to a bull that y' all call Herbert. So talk to me about kind of just her general background and what you think that she can do.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this one is one also that Joe brought to the sale. But we actually own this one's mother together. She's a walk sloan out of RJ's 422 that we're going to get to start flushing on here in the next year. I think is going to be a big time donor. And this would be that one's first calf. Luckily enough, as you said come back th free. I mean I don't know how you could get a much cooler club calf pedigree in the bread heifer. Brilliant.
A
And not be th go. Yeah.
B
And goes back to the great 422 you throw. Here I am. How great? Something on top of that. I mean that's about as sweet as you can get. This one again, modern or kind has that extra punch when you get right in behind her. Wheels are really, really nice. I mean I'll be honest, I was surprised Joe didn't call and say hey, we're keeping this one. But at the same time we gotta sell bread heifers and we gotta have high quality animals for sure.
A
And this is just my imagination kind of running. But I think her on New World Order would be really, really cool.
B
Yes, that is. That'd be another one I'd throw in there that could click up really, really well.
A
Yes sir.
B
Like you said. Also this one is bull bread. They decided to run a handful of these just with their bull. He's a full sib to safety first that they bought from Oklahoma or in Oklahoma City from Tlox there a couple years ago. Bull is very, very nice in person. A really good heer bull.
A
Lot 16. We got a colored exotic in here. She's an in God we trust monopoly spring of 2024. She's AI to the Jackie Moon. Honestly. Just looks like a really stout, dense made female. What do you think she pairs to well in the future and what do you think she can provide?
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this one is really, really nice. A little different in terms of size she's not small by any means, but she is more moderate. Something that I think raising show steers will be just fine. She come from Steve Landman out there in Ohio where me and a buddy Jesse Hoobler have gotten a pile of show steers out of. This is one I decided to keep back, not sell as an open honestly. We have another female that is we started flushing on here that me and Jesse own together. That come from Steve. That is an in God and had got done to. How great. That was one of Jesse's high sellers this past year. It was kind of a yellow color. So I think how great on this one. I think you could hit some home runs. I mean her structure can handle anything. Obviously you can see her look and presence is really, really nice too.
A
Well, lot 17 would be that second female of the Icon 300 daughter. And in my opinion, just looking at picture and video, she's definitely like the more presence oriented, freaky one.
C
Yep, yep.
B
A little more. Little more extension. Front third chest sits in it a little bit more. But same power, same body, same structure, same moderate build. I mean honestly, them two are very, very much alike. Another one I think is dual purpose club calf or main. I think a guy can't go wrong.
A
Absolutely, for sure. Well then lot 18 we change it up with a may we all chosen one milkman. She is a th carrier bread heifer and she'll be a maintainer just from her. From her genetics. But she's been exposed to that herbert bull that we talked about before. What do you think she works to in the future and what do you think that she can provide to someone that ends up with her?
C
Yep, yep.
B
So I mean this is kind of a full circle here is as you can see, we bred a lot of are bread heifers to may we all. I'm pretty sure this one is out as a first calf out of a bread heifer they chose to keep back. I think may we alls have made really, really nice club calf cows. I mean there's some of the best places in the country. Some of their highest donors as grossing donors are may we alls this year. I can think of a guy down in Blakesburg that has made a lot of money on one called 960. But I think this one really good looking, moderate in her time. Stout got that shot of club calf back on the bottom side. But when you mate how great here I am on the top side. You have that may we all in between them there to tone it down. I think. Yes, she is A carrier. If a guy wants to go with a few clean bulls, you can. But if you want to try to hit that home run, I'd run it right at her.
A
Well then you got a lot 19. She's a Memphis mafia out of that 300 cal that we've talked about. And she's also a maintainer. AI deme we all. What do you think that she can do for people that end up with her? I mean she's a full sib to a lot of high sellers. From what it looks like.
B
Yes, very intriguing. Like we said earlier that 300 has done a very good job for us. This would be a full sib do a couple of high ones. Paulson sold there a couple of years ago. Our high selling, excuse me, open heifer last year on our pasture sale was an all me 300. There's been multiple ones across the country that have sold really well for different firms. This one I would utilize to raise main end juice. I think her look is second to none. She is really, really nice haired, really nice structured. I think a guy could go like a one for all a data bank come back on her and I think it could click up really, really well. I, I like this effort a whole bit.
A
Well then lot 20, you have a little bit of a change into a colored exotic female and she's out of that Amazing grace. And then man amongst boys on the bottom side. I'm a huge fan of Amazing grace cattle. I love the way that they're able to move and their body shape. But she's a spring of 20, 24. Also bred heifer and she's AI to that Jackie Moon. What do you think that she compared to? Well, in the future.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this heifer, if we rewind a little bit is built almost identical to that lot 16 in God. Even though they're not related at all in terms of size. Look, body power. Like you said on Amazing Graces. This one structure and joints is second to none. I mean I think that is very unique. When you have a club calf bull or club calf bread heifer that you can still go back clubby and not have to worry about joints. If they're on the edge and you're. You're kind of worrying about it, it usually doesn't work out very well. This one will be interesting when we get to th status back. I would almost say she's clean. That's just a guess. Like I said, we'll have it posted here in a couple of days.
A
Well then lot 21, you have the first female that you have to offer that's out of here I am on the bottom side. She's a broker. She's a spring of 2024 Red Heifer Guide to Mae we all what do you think that she can be paired to in the future to make good show steers?
B
Yes. This one here is very, very solid. Very complete stout, good haired, really nice structured. Honestly, I would probably go back to in God. I think that would pair pretty well. I've seen that that mating in God on here I am has worked pretty darn well. I would say her may we all first calf could be pretty high quality. That could make the bread bread maker for the next year if you get lucky enough to get a heifer. But this is one that's just really square built, big back pulled apart and got some muscle.
A
Well, in lot 22 you got a simmental up for grab. She's a relentless out of a cow that's called D13. She's a pace to believe Steel magnolia which I think's really neat. Relentless cattle in general have always been extremely maternal and extremely functional. But what do you think she can do for the simmental breed moving forward?
C
Yep, yep.
B
As you can see, not high on simmental genetics in the sale. Maybe something we really don't strive for. But when I came across this one as an open I thought she was very, very unique in her build. This one is so stout, so big backed. But as you can see, neck, chest, shoulder, everything sets in there really, really nice. I'll be honest, this animal is good sized. She is not little, she is a fall but she does have frame to her. But I always remember people telling me it's easy to make a good little one. It's hard to make a good big one. There's plenty of bulls that can moderate this one. For a purebred scimitar, I think this is a very unique animal.
A
Well then in Lot 23 you got to maintain her up for grabs. She's a twofold over in Angus cow. She's obviously been AI to that full tilt bull and was exposed to the Herbert there that we talked about for Ginsini. What do you think that she can do in the future? I mean she looks like just a moderate, easy flesh and low input cow that can just roll her out anywhere.
B
Yeah, exactly. Exactly what she is. Probably one of the biggest centered ones in the offering. Easy, easy doing. I don't think think will take much feed at all to keep her in condition. Structure is so nice. Very, very maternal. A bull like Full tilt, I think could freak her out a little bit and could be really, really nice. Obviously a little more maternal in her build. Two foldable that we owned with Blaine, Rogers and Jenseni I think is a bull that can raise some females that can generate, have a little extra substance to them and a shot of mane in there. I think this one's very high quality, but one is going to be low input is going to stay around for a long time.
A
Well then in Lot 24 you got another maintainer up for grab. She's a follow me I 80 monopoly. It'll be a spring 2024. She's been AI'd to may we all. This one's pretty intriguing in terms of just her picture. I mean she looks like a real presence oriented. Big back, big pin, female.
C
Yes.
B
Buddy Clayton Walsh from up there in northern Wisconsin set her down as an open last fall. Said he had one that he thought would fit really, really well. And she does. She showed up again, like multiple ones in here. I probably could have sold her as an open, but I needed to keep her around for some high quality stuff for this sale. Structure is awesome. Like you said, big back, stout body's really, really nice. Love this one's pedigree. How you got Angus main club calf all in there, you throw back on the top side of that, you got Angus in between it. I think that type of pedigree really, really works. Tames down the club calf on the grand dam side, but yet you can throw anything to them. They'll be able to handle it.
A
Absolutely.
B
I think this one is, is, is darn darn nice. I would go to here I am on her. I think that would be a very, very good match.
A
The, the potential of her making Angus show steers to compete is really neat and that'd be a really cool idea for sure. 25 next and another maintainer. She's a top secret over monopoly. Over monopoly to pride. It'll be a spring of 2024. She's bread heifer. Been AI to may we all. What. What do you think that she can do in the future? Because honestly, her build and look is very similar to the lot we just talked about.
B
Yeah, I agree very much so. Another, I think this is the final of the four that buddy Nick Schroeder sent out. And the only solid black one, but modern kind, stout sound real good looking. Top secret is a bull that's been just kind of dabbed in there a little bit here and there that people are here about and they always say, you know, what is he? Obviously we put that on there for him. A little more maternal pedigree. Got some key in there. Got some mane in there. I think this one pedigree is very interesting. Kind of like. Like you said the one before maternal club calf on the bottom side has a shot of shorthorn back in there. For the shorthorn lovers. I think this one is destined to raise club calves because she's moderate and her kind. She's stout and she's really, really nice structured well.
A
In Lot 26 you change it up with a. With a colored exotic female. She's an exit 174 over safe and sound. Spring of 2024 to the Jackie Moon bull. What do you think that she can breed to in terms of club calves? I mean obviously you state how great or in God even something in terms of like, like that trust and obey or that greater good I think would be really neat too.
B
Yes, yes. This one's interesting. Hired man Jordan brought this one in also. We ran her through and sheared her and I was joking with him because I couldn't tell what color she was. She's kind of gray, she's kind of smoke. She's a very interesting color pattern when you get right up on her. But this one's build is pretty awesome. Her wheels are very good. Her power is very, very nice. Shoulder sits in there nice. Really good looking. Moderate in her kind. I think you go a lot of ways when it comes to breeding her for club calves. I think you could. A bull that come to mind for some reason on me is. Is like holy ghost. I think that one could raise some shifters and I know this is speculating but maybe something that you could slick because this one is pulled apart. Got some muscle. I think for southern guys. I think this could be one that could raise some pretty nice shift steers down there.
A
Well then Lot 27, another kind of club calf indicative. She's a game on main man amongst boys. She is a TH carrier. Spring of 2024 she hadn't been AI'd from what it looks like, but she's been exposed in the pasture. But what do you think that she pairs to in the future and what do you think kind of cattle that she can make?
B
Yep, yep, I'm very functional. Very sound, very easy doing big bodied. Has that extra shot of muscle and hair and bone with the mab on the bottom side. For me being a carrier I would probably tend to go to club calf bulls. In the main Andrew world that th carrier status is a little frowned upon and you'll have to kind of dip and dive around that. And when you're breeding, if you want to go maternal on her, I mean I go with a couple of the well known ones on the club calf side. Here I am. How great. Like I said, I think her structure can very well handle.
A
I also think that her on King of Kings would be pretty neat.
C
Yes, Yep.
A
I think that'd be.
B
I mean and like there's, there's multiple clean bulls out there. If a guy wants to go that way and play it safe. That I think could work on these ones that come back as carriers.
A
Well then in Lot 28 you got a loaded red general solid gold. I mean bout is loaded up of a genetic that you can offer. She's a follow 2023 with Jackie Moon. And it says that you went out and got this one found there at that Striker ranch. Luke's freaking awesome. I love Luke, he's a great guy. But what do you think that she pairs to in the future? I mean, obviously we think in God, Amazing grace, King of kings or something of that nature. But what do you think?
B
Yes, I mean those would be the ones. I would say this one's interesting. And like I wrote in the write up, I love going there every year, but I just never know if we're gonna come with an empty trailer or a full trailer. They like to keep them and I. I can very well understand why. Snuck this one out of there, I guess. I didn't sneak her, but I got her out of there.
A
There you go.
B
Very good looking. I mean this one's back is so wide. She is so stout. When you get behind her structure still really, really nice. I mean you really can't paint much nicer of a picture of a future donor than what she took. I mean it's kind of what she is. I mean there's nothing to hide there. I mean that's just a good beef animal that I think you could raise show steers on for years to come. Throw whatever colored bull you want at her. I think that one's very high quality.
A
Well then in lot 29 you got another twofold female out of an i80 cow. She's bred heifer. Been exposed to the Herbert bull like we talked about for Mr. Genocide. But what do you think that she can do for the maintainer breed in general? Because she looks like she can make some awesome females.
B
Yes, yes. If anybody ever saw Twofold when we had him there in Oklahoma City or saw him stud at one of our places, his feet were ginormous he was really nice at the ground. Carried it onto this one. I think she is very nice structured, has that extra feature to her still good in her shoulder and her neck. Like I said, I think Twofold is gonna raise some females that can generate down the road. Got i80 on the bottom side there. So this one is gonna be a little higher main injury percentage. I think a guy could go on her and raise raise some main females that are pretty darn nice.
A
Well then we get to Lot 30 and I looked through the sale last night and this is when I wrote down to be one of my favorites personally. But she's an in God we Trust. Sim Angus Spring of 2024 I did the Jackie Moon Smoke female. That is really neat looking. I mean she just looks super neat jawed, tidy throat and chested huge bodied. But what do you think that she'd pair too well just being an in God like what other outcross sires that you made her to?
C
Yep, yep.
B
So there's a pair of these. This one in that amazing grace that I got from Denies out in South Dakota as opens and really didn't know what to expect when I got them in. But both of them have turned into very, very nice bread heifers. Both of them structurally were very, very good. Both of them moderate and are kind but yet have enough growing that are going to be able to go on and produce this one for an in God is very maternal. Very maternal in her body. Very maternal just in her shoulder design and her head and everything. I mean probably other than being smoky, you wouldn't guess that she was out of an ingot.
A
Right.
B
I think another one that is so safe in terms of her build that you can go to some of them more juked up club calves and she'll be able to handle it. I mean really throw what color bowl you want at her. I mean her wheels or joints are nice. I don't think you can go wrong.
A
Absolutely. Well then you got Lot 31 and 32 are similar in terms of their genetic script, both being out of the Sweet Willy bull on a Primo. But on the dame side it's Primo Tammy on 31 and Primo Fullback on 32. So one being a maintainer, one being a Main Angus. Describe what both are different in terms of their type and kind and kind of how they relate to what you're trying to accomplish.
C
Yep, yep.
B
And I wrote it in an earlier lot up there on the Sweet Willy. But I'll say it again on these two Sweet Willies probably A bull come out in a hard time. There's a bunch of main bulls come out at the same time. Then I do think you're going to see more of these cows show up in pedigrees. It might take a couple of years, but I think it's going to happen because I think they're going to be able to generate and produce because of their structure, because of their look, because of their extra power. Both of these are very good looking. So both of them are very nice structured. The 31 female goes back to a primo Tammy that would be a maternal sister to one Leclay. Won the bread and owns with junior nationals a couple years ago. The 32 is out of that China cow primo fullback purebred Angus 32 with paper up as a main Angus. Both of them I think are very high quality. Both of them are about peas in the pod in terms of build. I think stuff that can generate some main injured females down the road.
A
Well then lot 33 you go to databank style. Red Thunder, she's another maintainer was exposed to the Herbert bull from that your consigner Mr. Genoci. What do you think that she can provide in terms of making females?
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this one white footed female databank goes back to their mia donor that has done big things. We have sold so many cattle out of her show steers, heifers, she can do both sides of it. This one's moderate in her kind, really nice structured, got a splash of color on her. I think this one is another versatile one. Could go maternal race. Some mains could go club calf. She'd be clean th free. I mean moderate sound, really, no holes.
A
Well then probably the most unique lot of the group in the last live lot you have to offer in 34. She's a Dakota Gold Turton. She's a spring of 20. So she's a little older but she's been AI to how great thou art and then pasture explode, explodes exposed to trust his plan. Talk to me about the trust his plan bull and then what you think that she can do in the future.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So trust his plan. We found him this year at Brad Onions and Malone's. An in God little red that was th free kind of same as the the sweet Willy deal. Bunch of in God little reds came out the same year. We'll see which one surface here and the years to come. I thought this justice plan structure ferning God Little red was absolutely incredible. I thought his body and his power was really, really good. Came Back th free. Think he can be utilized down the road on some carrier cows. Back to this lot. This cow is very, very nice. We have not utilized her probably as we could. We did flush her one time to in God. We've only put in two out of the ten she had made. We sold one half her for 7500. I think this cow could do very, very well to In God. I think she could do very well to how great. And raise some colored show steers. I mean, to look at her in person, it's pretty impressive. She is stout. She is sound. I mean, she is built. Awesome. Still have plenty of life in her. I was on the fence only selling half, but I decided to let her go. I think this one is very, very high.
A
Awesome. Well, then you got some embryo lots coming up. And that's 35 next. These would be a flush out of your Matilda female. Talk to me about what she's done for y' all and what you think someone should flush her to when she. When they end up with it.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So this. This heifer here was actually our high seller out of our pasture sale last year. The Long family from Southern Iowa there selected her, had a very nice show career goes on and wins the FFA show at the Iowa State Fair fair. They do an exceptional job back on our 300 cow, like we talked above, has done big things for us. This one is very nice sized. Extremely, extremely good. Structured, has that extra punch and muscle that got her across that day at the show. They have flushed her a few times here, and she flushes pretty darn nice. I mean, personally, I'd probably go back to like a data bank, but at the same token, I would be okay with filling club gap on her, too. She can handle it. Her structure is so nice. She's got that extra size. I think this is a very unique opportunity that. That Clint. Clint wanted to put on here. I think a guy could go many ways there.
C
Yep, yep.
B
So, like I said, they have flushed her a few times here. You got data banks made man's or Kimo Sabe. Very unique opportunity here. Like I said, I think data bank is going to click up really well on her. Them other two bulls, though, if they hit a home run, I'm not going to be surprised. I do think this cow is going to generate and is going to be one that you're going to hear of for years to come. They're not going to offer these very often or if at all. So this is your time to get them.
A
Well, Lot 37's pretty neat opportunity kind of run through me. What is. There's a lot of embryos that people could pick from what. From what it looks like.
B
Yeah. So this idea just came to my head. I was like, you know what? I'm going to offer it because I have so much confidence in this cow that whatever you want to flush her to, I'll do it. She's open right now. We're going to take her in and start flushing on her, get her warmed back up. This cow flushes absolutely incredible. I just did the numbers, I think two nights ago, and in her lifetime, I think she's flushed over like 550 eggs. Flushes averages about 16 or 17 of flush. Has had flushes up to like 32, 34 eggs. As you can see in the comments, we've had all me's. We've had mafias. The new decade that fit Sold was actually a natural calf. We did a Colt 45 on the club calf. We done it. A chosen one. We did her late last year. Two more club calf holes have not put them in yet. That would be kind of the first of them. We typically stay more on the main side. We will have a pile of different stuff coming this year. We've done her to databank. We've done it at Kingston. We've done it. A crossover. You. You name it, we've pretty well done it. But if someone else has a different idea, I'm up for it. Because I think.
A
Absolutely. Well, then you have 38 and 39 with a neat opportunity on the same cow, but four different sires in total. So perfection and golden ticket and lot 38. How great thou arter and God we trust in 39. What is that cow done for y'?
B
All?
C
Yep. Yep.
B
So this one was interesting. Buddy of mine, Jesse Hoover and I go out east every year, look for club calves. We saw this cow at a guy's place out there and we're like, hey, we don't have anything that color. We figured out what she was, where she came from and knew we had to try to get her. So we bought her, flushed her to in God first. And then we've done Howgate Perfection. Golden ticket. I think one more attached picture is actually a. That's right out of her. That was raised from who we bought her from that Jesse sold. That's done real nice. I mean, I'm pumped for all the matings. I think they all could work pretty well.
A
100%.
B
We'll have a couple of them coming this year. We did the perfections earlier, and we did all the club calf ones for some march april stuff. But first time ever that we're selling eggs on this cow. So, I mean, dive in and pick which ones you want.
A
Well, then lot 40 through 42 is all semen units. All have quantity of 10 for offer. And that's the bull that we talked about earlier on that last live lot that she was covered by. What? I mean, the bull looks awesome for me. I mean, huge feet and legs that can move. And he is a An in God Lil red. Correct.
B
Correct in God. Little red. That's th free. Like I said, one that we own with brad, onion and malone. It'll be interesting. We got a little bit of that semen out this past year. He didn't make it till a little bit later, but we did get it out to some good firms. And like I said, an option when you got some carrier cows. I think that bull could do big things for an ingotville red. I think his structure is second to none.
A
Well, with all this said, we went through all the lots and the sale happens on December 27th. Today is the 21st. The preview will be out on the 22nd for anyone that's interested. Charlie's number is up there. For anyone that wants to contact him and talk to him about anything. I'm sure he's willing to answer the that fact phone and give anybody anything that. That they need. Grateful for the opportunity that I was able to do a preview on these cattle. They look awesome.
B
No, thank you very much. Like you said, if you have any questions, give us a call. We got a few days if you want to come out and take a look at them. But like I said, there's something for everybody.
A
