Foreign. We are back and we are going deep. Deep into season eight of Love island usa, and it is family night. Danny is now a mainstay on the show. We've lost Sean because Sean is too
B
behind, but he's gonna come back.
A
Sean's coming back to the finale, but he's just. He got too behind, but he did it.
B
He went on an east coast vacation. Forgot to. He forgot. Love island airs every night. Yep.
A
The greatest news ever is at long last Love island reviews. We are joined by the OG number one, Day one homie. Producer of Empty Nurs Emily Binder.
B
Which means it's really here.
C
Day one of Empty.
A
Almost Friday pod back on the show. This is the best thing in the world.
B
It's family night, dude.
C
My. My guys left me, so I need to be back with my actual. My real guys.
A
That you're back with your uncles.
C
This is like Uncle Dan and Uncle D and baby Chris.
B
I forgot about that uncle.
C
I also apologize for how heinous I look on today on this broadcast.
A
I think you'd be surprised how many people love you got. You've got a late night hang vibe. Look right at.
D
I think we all look great.
C
I just came from beach tennis and I ran in here barefoot.
B
She speaks Italian at beach tennis. Did you know that?
A
Yeah.
D
Do you really?
C
Wait, how did you know? Oh, I did tell you.
A
It's a new era of M, which is fantastic.
D
How similar is Italian and French?
A
Pretty?
C
I'm not sure.
A
Romance languages.
D
When I look at them, I'm like,
C
Spanish and Italian are very much more similar than I thought.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay, that's good.
C
Well, folks, wait, can I just say one thing? Italian?
A
You can. Oh, please.
C
Il tupen piccolo.
A
Oh, do you know what that means?
C
You.
D
You have a small penis.
B
Yes. Wow. Really good. Do you have an uncle from.
D
There was just a lot of.
B
Do you have a grandfather? Do you have a Italian grandfather?
D
No, he's Swiss.
B
Yeah, but they speak everything. They speak everything.
D
My other one's Missouri, so. Yeah,
C
that means Chris farted and it smells.
D
Wow.
C
Because I've just been, like, picking up random. I just been.
A
You're playing beach tennis with a bunch of Italian guys who are farting and have tiny penises.
C
I looked that one up just to be funny. Okay.
B
Oh, and they loved it. I bet.
C
All right.
D
That was good.
A
That was good.
B
All right.
A
Well, folks, it was family night. We have got Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and now Thursday night to discuss of season eight, Love Island. We're gonna get all into it. We're so happy to Have Em here with us, and I will always this. We've been caveating the beginning of every episode, Emily, with saying, let's all remember, folks, we're here to have fun. These are real people we're talking about. And we're also talking about a reality TV show.
D
And I'm a real person, too.
B
And I'm a real person, too.
A
Nothing is too serious, so.
B
Except for my hatred for some of these real people.
A
Whoa.
B
Yeah.
A
Christopher.
B
Dude, I know we don't go linearly. No, no.
A
But let's.
B
But I would like to do. I would like to start with karaoke night, because that was that the first episode of this week.
D
And yes.
B
Before we go anywhere else, and no matter what you think of the man, the way Casey sang. Listen, baby, those two words. Those two words to start, that song was phenomenal. Was phenomenal.
A
Yeah.
D
Oh, my gosh.
A
I. You know, I think what's fantastic about this show is that we have all these cast members, and we really know nothing about them. And something like karaoke night. I was actually very excited. Cause I was like, oh, yeah, we might see a few people, several people here. We might have some belters of voices.
D
And they all sucked.
A
Literally everyone on the show had one of the worst voices I've ever heard. Except Kenzie, who would have been my guarantee. You have the worst voice of all time. And then her voice was great.
D
She had the voice of a literal angel.
A
It was incredible because she started it by going, oh, right before I came here, I was singing in the shower, and my dad was like, your voice is terrible. And I was like, shut up, dad. Yeah, that was. And that was just another classic grift by Kenzie to get us on her side.
D
And she started off so, like, shy with it, you know? Like, the first line was like. It was good, but you could tell, like, she was kind of talking.
B
Yeah.
D
And then as she got a couple good reactions, she was like, no, I'm gonna give these what they want. And she just started, like, really airing it out.
A
She was awesome.
D
And other than Casey's couple lines, those first two words were golden.
A
Yeah.
D
And he had a great performance overall. But just him and Kenzie, everybody else sounded like complete dog.
A
It was unbelievable.
D
TT sounded pretty good.
A
She sounded okay. Zach sounded okay.
D
Yeah.
A
But you know what I love about every single one of them? They all fucking went for it. They really went for it. No one was awkward and holding back. I mean, Zach and Kada, like, did a love performance. It was so awkward. But they. They fucking committed.
D
I don't know who those two thought they were. They were expect. Like, they clearly think they. And it showed with the voting. After being shocked that they were in the bottom. They thought they were.
B
They shared a mic Villa. They were endless loving.
A
Like, yeah, that was crazy.
D
They thought they were mom and dad. That was a terrible song to pick. Like, everybody else was having fun and they picked a lovey dovey, like, we're the shit song. You guys. You guys blow.
C
Who was it? Kenzie and Dylan were, like, switching mics.
B
They were like, I think so, maybe. Oh, yeah, No, I think you're right.
A
I think they were because they were getting pretty intimate towards the end. Yeah, Dylan was trying to do his, like, hips thing.
D
I wish Dylan took it more seriously because it would have been a way better performance because Kenzie was genuinely special and Dylan was over there doing this big clown thing. Like, he's the. Like, Dylan, Kenzie.
A
Or Dylan was clowning and Kenzie was like, I'm on the Voice.
B
We're done with Dylan over here, by the way.
C
Oh.
D
Oh, he's a. He's a special.
C
I also have something to admit. I did have not done this more than like twice on this show, but I. I fast forwarded this entire challenge. I saw bits and pieces as I stopped my fast forward, but I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't do it. I am sick and tired of these pointless, meaningless challenges that do not stir up any drama. Where's the. Where's, like, where's the other shit that we were talking about earlier? Like. Like, where's the. I pick a card and you have to find out who fucked someone else's boyfriend. Like, I'm sick and tired. Like, what was this for? Who is this for?
D
It was production's way of saving Kenzie.
B
He knows Danny.
D
Production.
A
Hold on. I haven't watched a full challenge since about episode four.
B
Really?
A
Every single time there's a challenge, I either fast forward or I put it on times 2.5 speed.
C
Did you watch the karaoke, though?
A
Yep. I actually did fully watch this one and that towards the end I did like a little bit of a fast forward. But I was like, weeks ago, watching the challenges, I was like, every single challenge is 30 minutes of the most wasted time ever.
C
Yeah, you can't get those minutes back.
A
The only times I turn it off 2.5 speed is when Ariana Maddox goes, oh, Ariana. Okay, Anaya, how did you feel about that?
B
Yeah.
A
And I. Then I go to one time speak because I'm like, they're about to say some out of pocket here, so.
B
Dude. Well, then maybe you two didn't get to experience this. But Danny, and if you did chime in, how funny was Parmita yodeling?
D
Yeah, dude.
B
I don't know if you guys saw this, but Parmita was like, oh, I'm a great singer. And then started literally like, she's a special girl. And then everyone was kind of like, what are you doing?
A
I'll go one further. She. It. It was truly. She was sitting there with Corbin and she was like, I'm a great sinner singer.
B
And then Yoda.
A
But then Emily, they come out and sing. Her voice is horrendous.
B
And she didn't yodel. I'm like, dude, at least was.
C
Okay, good.
A
Her performance was like. If you had pit mute.
B
Yeah.
A
And like, the way she, like walked out and was like dancing and singing, you would have thought that Shakira was singing. Like, her stage presence was unbelievable.
D
It was a rough.
A
That's. That's the best type of karaoke person.
B
Yeah.
A
Someone who comes out there and looks like they are Beyonce on stage and they suck at singing, but they're having fun. I'll take that person.
B
Over Zach. No.
A
Well, yeah, over the person at karaoke who thinks they're auditioning for, like, they're like, every karaoke night is my time to show everyone in my respective city that I'm an amazing.
B
They're the Angela from Little Drummer Boy from the Office. Yeah. That was crazy.
D
Pointless challenge. It didn't add anything to the show.
B
Listen to Danny's theory. He's right.
D
If you think these producers didn't know Kenzie had the voice she did before she got put on this show. Like, they knew setting up this challenge would let her and Dylan, like, be in a position to get saved basically
B
so they could save her.
D
They were the least voted couple.
A
Oh, you know, I love this.
D
And they were clearly. It wasn't even close.
B
Oh, it's. It's.
A
I don't even think it's a take.
D
It wasn't even.
A
Danny last or like two weeks ago has called out that Kenzie has been dead in the water for weeks and production is just doing everything they can to keep her alive because she's good tv.
D
She's must see tv. She's not just good. She's not good. She's great.
C
Wow.
B
She's not awesome.
C
Danny, you should like, but you should be. You would make bank as a Love island producer. I agree.
B
It's insane.
A
Oh, I think Danny should Just start a secondary channel that is like breaking down the, breaking down the production schemes of Love Island. She's all over.
D
And it put Corbin a Parmita on an island and they got voted off because.
B
Okay, let's talk about that dude.
D
Cuz they're going to ch over I.
B
You. You were texting right after. I was kind of in real time. I was kind of having fun with the app. I was like I was karaoke, whatever. And then it started to hit me what was happening. I could read the tea leaves where
D
I was like oh wait, wait, they're
B
going to be, they're about to save Ken. They just gave Kenzie immunity and then obviously they're going to.
D
And I was like the bottom two couples.
B
No way this is happening.
D
Corbin and Parmita have to go against Zach and Kada who are the most protected couple on that island because they're friends with everybody. Zach likes all the guys cuz he's, he's gay. Secretly into it. And then K's like queen. You know, K came in being she
B
was at this point she's not anymore.
D
She's the boss girl around other girls but around men she's just falls right back into Zach every time. It's the worst kind of girl to be around.
B
So that, that killed me. I was really upset. That's actually the most upset.
D
I've been weak around men but strong around women. It turns off other like nobody. Like, like same with, same with guys too. The guys that are like oh big macho men in front of like, like the other rest of the guys. But then you're like weak around girls or you treat like mistreat with girls. That's very K esque. She's a, she's very dickish to the girls and very standoffish when she wants to be. But Zach says nothing to this woman and she's like oh my God, you're perfect. You're perfect for me.
A
Yeah, Zach's got to be because you
D
have dark features and you're the Prince of Egypt.
B
You're the Prince of Egypt.
D
Yeah.
A
He is so the Prince of Egypt.
D
I mean he is so handsome. I mean he really is.
B
He's from the Bible. He's from the Bible.
A
His, his face is so symmetrical but
D
if you have like a, if he had like an unattractive accent, you know, dead right. He, he's, I don't know.
A
He does, he's given her what's an unattractive accent.
D
I think Australians don't do it kind of funny. I Don't think it's, like, as romantic. It's a cool accent, for sure.
B
But, like.
D
Yeah, it's kind of tough to tell.
A
He's got Australia. Birmingham accent.
B
Yeah.
C
Here's what I will say, regardless of the order of the dumpings, like, Kenzie and Dylan are gonna go next.
A
Oh, for sure. I think we.
C
It was a matter like, Corbin and Parmita would have been dumped next if they were still.
B
Yeah, that's probably true. But I thought they were a great couple.
C
I do think that they may last on the outside.
A
I think they have the most chemistry of anyone in the villa.
C
I think they're holding on to the fact that they, like, knew of each other before the villa.
A
I also think they're just like. I mean, I loved how they started calling him the coordinator.
B
Dude. Did you hear that Bryce goes the coordinator.
A
Well, how about when he left when he was crying and then they were
C
like, oh, the robot.
A
Yeah. They're like, we broke him. And I was like, oh, wait, you guys are in on this joke too.
C
That's what I was confused.
A
Those are the times where I'm like, you guys do have access to the Internet.
B
Do you want to hear producers?
D
Yeah, the producers.
B
You know what I heard? Maybe you guys know this, but this was actually devastating for me to hear. The. The. On Wednes, two things. On Wednesday, they. That's the no episode, right? Yeah. On Wednesday, they clean. A cleaning crew comes to the villa and they all leave. So, like, they go. Do they, like, get to go rip Fiji and, like, do. But they split up. Boys only go together and girls only
C
go together, and they're not allowed to talk about anything.
B
Like, to miss good interactions while they're not filming. And the reason we only see them eat breakfast every lunch and every dinner because of union mandates that the crew has to eat. So they cook them catered dinners and they have to split up again because they. They can't miss anything. So the, like, for example, and the girls spend so much time.
A
They're, like, out in, like, the city in Fiji, dude.
B
And that's why they don't leave.
D
I don't think they don't leave that they don't. Like, there's other areas around this compound.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's why they're like boys. Like, Caleb's like, this is the best experience of my life. And to us, the viewer, we're like, was it you kind of got grinsed by two girls? But he's like, no, dude, I've been ripping with the fellas yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
For six weeks in Fiji. Yeah. They're not allowed to talk about their relationships and stuff, so they have to like find other common.
B
So that robot. Well, I'm sure they had. The boys have been having jokes about Corbin together like for weeks.
D
But yeah, production does tell them a
B
ton of like that.
D
Like that's why Zach and Bryce like revved up the, you know, the handsy stuff.
A
There's stories I might be like mixing this with like a fake reality TV show, but I'm pretty sure I read a once, whether it was UK or US where one of the girls hooked up with one of the production dudes on one season.
C
Whoa, that happened.
B
That guy must be such a wheel.
C
Some bachelor. Some bachelorette or bachelor producer. Just wrote a book on how Peter Weber, the pilot Pete Bachelor and her had a connection.
A
Yeah, interesting about that too.
B
Also, also in this episode, Bryce and Trinity fucked. Like Trinity was like, I have a secret.
D
We fucked.
A
Yeah.
B
And I can't believe. I guess you have no choice because you don't get sent to the hideaway, but I can't believe your first fuck is like a silent spooning. Next to 12 people, she's got the
D
most to say about lust.
B
Yeah, good point.
D
Casey's the only male contestant that has not had sex on this show at this point. I'm just saying the guy got called.
A
You are a puritan.
B
No, he's. He's right.
D
Well, the dude got dragged. We. We had. We had literal licensed te making me too videos on this dude Casey.
A
Like he was racist. Yeah, I burn. Yes.
D
Like they drug him. Shut the up. Like, yeah, he said stupid things, but I mean it just was gross. And it's still going on on Twitter like, you guys are all racist pigs.
B
Hey, do you like Corbin? We all want Corbin to take over the world now, I think. Do you like it?
D
He's going to be the most successful guy brand wise outside of the couple. Is going to be core.
B
He should be on every reality show.
D
He's the most honest dude we've ever met. Is he a bit of a, you know, should he stop?
A
Can you at least agree that he's. He's the fucking hottest dude you've ever seen.
D
He's perfect.
C
It's so weird because I have a really good friend who looks just like him.
A
He's from Miami. Is it Corbin?
C
No, no, he's actually a model who. And he's friends with Jeremiah from last season. They're in the part of the same modeling agency.
D
Jeremiah looks great too.
C
Jeremiah is Crushing. Oh, my God. My roommate works for TikTok and had a meeting with him the other day and to hear the amount of, like, brand deals that he has up his sleeve right now, I was like, you're crushing Jeremiah. Sorry.
D
He's a guy from last season who look perfect, like Corbin.
C
But, like, yeah, that's Emily.
A
Corbin is like the hottest dude I've ever seen. You don't like him?
C
I, I don't. I know. I don't, I don't. I don't know. I just can't with a. When he was there, every other second was a bruh.
B
Yeah. Yeah, bruh.
C
I'm not joking.
B
I didn't like that.
C
I'm not joking.
A
I like this recorded season of the show has made me feel very old.
B
Yeah.
A
Which, which I am. But I mean, fuck, when.
B
Remember when he got voted out, they go, can we get one more fuck, bro?
D
Yeah, fuck, fuck, bro.
C
I'm not kidding.
A
I, like, started to make is so it's like a burp.
B
It's like, did you make an edit of this?
D
I look you a couple, bro.
A
Bro.
D
Yeah, bro. I just remember, like, I'm in a
B
couple and Kenzie out the window, bro.
D
Kenzie out the window.
B
Okay. While you look for that.
C
No, I have it.
B
Okay.
C
By the way, this is only 5 seconds. 5 seconds. And mind you, like, the amount of bras I got.
B
Energy, bro.
D
Everything, bro.
A
The, the times where Kenzie says bruh, I'm like, yeah, so what are we doing here? The bros are taking over. I. Oh, what was I gonna say?
B
I don't know. Okay, take a take somewhere else. In the next episode. I actually just really. Even though it led.
A
Oh, wait, I got it.
B
Yeah. Great.
A
All of these people need to work on how much they say. Oh, Dan. Literally.
B
Oh, oh. I thought I'd say, like, the likes are insane.
A
That, I mean, that is. We all do it, but some do it worse than others. And I, I honestly, I, I, I try to always. As a reminder, I do it to people in this office.
B
Yeah, Yeah.
A
I, I, I do it to locks all the time.
D
What does it say?
A
I. To tell people not to say, like, as much. It is one of the most unattractive habits you can have. And, and listen, I, I do it sometimes. It is our.
B
You would.
A
It is our. But I think it's a good thing to do.
C
You want to hear. You want to hear the opposite take that I heard recently? More like this is like a sad take. I don't know if this is, like, I don't know how I feel about this take, but I'll share it. Someone said that the reason that girls say like so much is because they are so used to being interrupted that when they say like, instead of pausing, they are still speaking, essentially. And so they're less likely to be interrupted, whereas if they pause, it's room for an interruption.
A
I don't know anything about that. If there's any research behind that, I think that that's fascinating.
B
Good take.
C
I mean, I'm not sure. Personally, I am someone who says like a lot and that would not be the reason. I think I just, I am very ADHD and my thoughts need to come out very quickly. I'm like consciously not trying to say it right now. If I speak slower and think before I speak, it's easier to not say like. However, it's very hard for me and I want to take a speech class.
A
Well, first of all, I think you're doing a great job.
C
Well, but it's hard.
A
Yes, I know it is.
B
Slowly.
A
The only reason that I wasn't quick to jump and go, wow, I agree with that. That's probably right. Is because I. I don't think it's a female thing. I think everyone does gets interest. I mean, I have one of the smartest guys I know and I don't want to say his name because I don't want to insult him. Says like more than anyone I have ever met. And it's definitely because his brain is firing at all times and he just needs to fill words and he just is like, like, like, like, like, like. So I will never fault every new young generation for doing it because we've all done it. I think our generation probably started it.
B
Yeah, Correct.
A
It does need. We need to stop doing it. But this group of islanders says literally all the time. It's how they emphasize something. If you make a good point, literally, one of the other islanders goes, literally.
C
I just, like, I feel like I sometimes do that.
B
That's okay. They just do it a lot.
C
But it's the same way that when I say period, like, I mean it as a joke. Like, the only reason I started doing is cuz like flag was doing it, but now I've been joking about it so much that I can't stop.
B
And it makes real do that. Yeah.
A
You start saying something as a joke and then it's just it. You do it.
B
Yep.
C
I just feel like some people in this office who don't know me think that. Like, I genuinely.
A
I promise you they do. They go, emily says, period. All the time and.
C
No, I know. And they think that I'm. They think I'm being serious, but low key. I am because I've been joking about it.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
C
So you're like, I don't mean it,
B
but like, yeah, it's your real life now.
C
And now people, period.
B
It's your real life.
C
No, it's bad.
B
I wonder if UK does this. M the. Even though it led to nothing, which was kind of stupid, I really enjoyed the Secret Mission. The girl, Scott.
C
Oh, yes. They do this stuff like that around the villa. Is cool.
B
Who did do games and stuff like that?
A
I thought they all smashed their. Their task.
B
That was really. That was. But unnecessary. It's like, everybody can see.
C
It's like, we all know you did your part.
A
It felt like something out of kind of a corny but awesome action movie.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, I loved it. I thought Titi demolished her kill. It was the perfect. Two perfect people to get. And the way she did it was awesome. And I got it. I have to give the golf clap. The way Kenzie got a double back massage. She was the perfect person to have that.
B
But, dude, I can't believe she said her. Because with her history, when they go, this girl has to get up two back rubs. She goes, I'll do it. I was like, not you.
D
But, you know, it was so funny.
A
Well, that's why it's her.
B
Yeah.
A
She's like, listen, I know what I'm good at.
D
Her way of doing it was to, like, go to Carl first because he's the PT guy.
A
Yeah.
D
And like, without, like, she didn't even really have to ask Dylan because Dylan's a jealous piece of. Yes, he was.
B
He was jumping.
D
He, like, jumped. He, like, was trying to move.
C
I'll help.
D
He's like, no, babe, I got it. Like, why are you asking?
A
When. When she goes, dylan, you can. You can go. You know? And he was like, oh, I was. I was gonna wait for Carl, but I mean, okay.
B
She's like, no, hit that.
D
Oh, it's so good.
B
And then. Yeah, go.
D
He just stinks.
B
Yes. We're. We're out on.
D
I've never seen a more clear, like, I'm on a TV show than. Yeah, that guy's gonna be. I'm gonna see that guy at jmos, like, all the time.
C
1 million percent. Could not have picked a better spot to spot him at. Oh, man, it's gonna be that. It's gonna be waterfront. It's just.
B
Yeah. Hey, Dylan. How are you, buddy?
D
I. I feel like I know you so well.
C
There.
A
There are. There have been a couple. Dylan's hanging with the fellas, and I thought you. You again. You have X ray vision on this show, which is why you were instrumental to these chats. But there have been a couple of times where Dylan just hanging with the boys has said something or done something that has kind of made me smirk and been like, I bet he's a nice guy. I bet I could have a fun. I could have a beer with them.
B
But I think you're right. He's performing. The Dylan on the TV show is awesome.
A
So I think that's okay to point out, but I'm just, you know, being Danny Green Jeans, I'm just pointing out. I think Dylan's probably a fun hang.
D
But Danny Green Jeans, you shouldn't defend it, because you can have a beer with anybody. I feel like I could have a beer with anybody, too. Like, and I'm not gonna defend the guy.
A
I could not have a beer with Sincere. I could never.
D
Well, that's a little. It's a little different because we've. We've diagnosed him already. If we didn't know who Sincere was,
A
like, Sincere is not of this planet. He is a literal Batman. The.
B
You brought this up in that episode. Sincere. This was the episode where Sincere goes to Melanie. When I look at you, I see a life outside the villa. I see my wife. I see the mother of my children.
C
I was like, dude, absolutely not.
B
What are you doing legitimately, though? Emily, how could you. How could you say that to.
A
And I was like, did this man just say wife?
D
It took him 31 episodes to start love bombing, Which I was very like, wow. Like, normally a guy would drop.
B
He kept that in the holster the whole time.
A
Emily, we need the female point of view on that. Like, we are. We have been watching this man mentally torment this poor woman for weeks now. And when you were watching that episode and he's saying those words, what are you thinking?
C
I have, like, two. Two things to say on. One is when someone says, like, I can see you as my wife. Like, we all have imaginations. I can picture anyone as my husband. Like, I can look at everyone in this room and be like, oh, yeah, like, there's a. There's like. Like, yeah, I could, like. Like, imagine it. Cause we all have imaginations. Like, what do you mean? Like, you can see. Like, also, I don't know if it's because enough of this wasn't. Like, enough of their connection wasn't captured, but where did this strong Bonnie and Clyde type of connection come from between the two of them. I'm just confused the amount of times that Sincere fucked her over. There's no way this woman could keep going back to him unless there's something we're not seeing on the other. There's something that they've talked about that they both are going to the grave with or something.
D
She's being abused not just by him, but also by Trinity, Anaya, Cayda, and all her close friends on the show. None of them are honest with her, and they continue to choose Sincere over her. And why does her sister comes on the show shout out.
A
Well, I was. I was gonna say or shout out, Anaya's sister.
D
Oh, yeah, yeah.
A
Anaya's sister. Yo, you are. Or maybe it was her mom.
D
I think it was her mom, too.
A
But both her mom and sister rocked. And them being like, you are not being a good friend.
D
You're not being a good friend at all. You're trying to your friend's relationship. Like, you are choosing. You are actively. You. Like, you cannot be both. You cannot act like. And she's always rushing to first, like, oh, I want to look like the comforter. I want to. I want to be there for Anaya or Melanie. And then she's the first one to talk to Sincere.
B
Yeah, correct.
D
I just want to go and talk to Sincere the next day and be like, listen, like, you know, I. I. And then also their conversation today, they sit there and Melanie calls it out just like, you just told me. Being like, you know, why did. Like, I feel like five seconds ago, you were team Sincere. Why?
B
You know, dude, that was incredible. I don't know if you guys caught that, but we'll get into family night in a second. But when Melanie goes, Melanie pulls Anaya and goes, yo, my sister came in fucking guns blazing. And Anaya goes like, yeah, dude, I totally get it. Sincere's been playing you, blah, blah, blah. And Melanie goes, it's just kind of weird for you to be saying that to me right now, because five seconds ago, you were going, I'm team Sincere.
A
Give him another chance.
D
Dancing with Keda.
B
And now you're seeing this. And that's kind of hard for my brain to process. And I was like, finally, dude. Finally you're seeing again.
D
She, like, this dude showed up with a plate of eggs and petals, like a rose. And Keda and Anaya started breakdancing. I'm team Sincere. Like, what are you doing? Like, this is like, Melanie has no other. Like, she's going to feel Crazy. If she sees like, three. Like, we talked about it, like, three or four separate times she's tried to run away. She, like, gets out of the. This, like, this spell that Sincere has over her. She's like, okay, I. I don't like this man. I don't trust him. And the first person in her ear is either Anaya, Trinity, or Kada being like. But, like, he keeps picking you. Like, I. I feel like you guys have something. I feel like, like, what? You guys have a special and even. And even an eye on Trinity tonight. Were sitting there after they talked with Melanie after she left, and it's just an eye. And Trinity, she's like, like. But I'm, like, rooting for them.
B
Like, crazy.
D
Like, bitch, we know what they have. We know what they have. Shut the fuck up.
B
Yeah. They go, what did. What did they say? She goes, they're not seeing. She's talking about America. She goes, they don't see what we see. And. And you go, we see more than you see. Like, we are seeing everything. Yeah.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
D
Diagnosed him. Episode two. We diagnosed him.
A
The thing that's so crazy about that is so when. If you're a guy dating a girl and the thing. The relationship is horrible, and you go back, you're with your boys, and you're like, okay, I'm out of here. And the boy's like, where are you going? You go, I'm going to see someone.
D
You know.
B
Yeah.
A
Blank girl. You're. The way guys work is. Your guy friends are like, really?
D
But that's how girls work, too.
A
Well, that. So I'm. I'm asking m. Like, do girls do that too? Because I assume they do.
D
It's always that dude.
A
And that's why this behavior is so weird. They almost why Melanie feels crazy because she's like, oh, my God. I feel like I'm thinking that this dude's not treating me well.
D
Yes.
A
And then when I'm with my closest friends here and I start talking about him, they're like, yeah, but give it another.
D
Like, you're crazy for not going back.
A
Yes. Like, she has been. She has no help.
D
Girls are all like. I feel like that's. Guys do it too. But, like, girls especially, it's like that dude, dude, like. Like, I've never. Like, you know, my ex's friends are the last person I want to see because they're going to tear me a new dick. Like, tear me a new one.
A
Part of Family day has been that we've gotten more support for Melanie.
B
Okay. But I have Question. I have a question for you, especially at what point? Because Melanie, we were sitting right next to each other talking about this. At the end, because all this has happened. Melanie gets it from her sister, which I loved. But then at the end, Melanie sits down with Sincere after she's received all the information. Yeah. Her sister and mom are bawling, crying. Her mom didn't even speak English. She's hammer in Spanish at her bro.
C
Her.
A
We. Emily and I had a moment about with her mom.
D
Her mom's a poet, dude.
B
Melanie sits down to Sincere and says, this connection is so special to me. I owe it to myself to gamble and just risk it, roll the dice, see if you hurt me in the real world. So don't. At some point, we have to put it on Melanie because, like, she's. Yeah, like, she's the one going back to this.
D
She got herself into the situation.
C
We.
D
Sorry.
C
Let.
A
Let Emily talk.
C
No, that's so. Okay. I genuinely enjoy your takes more than mine. I. There's something I want to bring up that I meant to say earlier. Where the. Is the energy that, like, Kenzie had towards Corbin for Melanie? I know in this scenario.
B
Yeah, yeah.
C
She seems like the only human being who won't let a guy fuck her over. So why is she not being a, like, sounding board for Melanie? I don't understand why she hasn't said a fucking word about the situation. Bizarre to me.
B
I love this.
A
Yeah.
D
She probably isn't a reliable source, and the girls probably treat her that way. Like, they're like Kenzie, like the adults. That's how the Core 4 works, right? These big bully girls, they don't let anybody else.
B
Like, yeah.
D
Also like Melanie, like, yeah, her sister came and, like, defended her and gave her all this talk is as great as that is. And of course, she's way closer with her sister. Her words are cheaper than the girl's words because in Melanie's mind, like, that's my sister. She's always gonna have my side, and she needs to hear it from one of these girls on the island.
B
Great.
C
Danny.
B
Yep.
D
That Sincere is not for you. And she's never heard it, not once.
B
Great.
D
It's constant reassurance. You're crazy. He picked you. Go back to him. He might be dumb, but he's trying.
A
He's trying.
C
Nothing pissed me off more than when Anaya, when she was, like, cheering for Sincere, yelling at Melanie, being like, you have to stop complaining about him, because if you're gonna go back, Tim, you have to stop complaining.
D
At least he Picked you. I didn't get picked. Yeah, like, they always followed up.
A
The use of by these women is astounding.
D
She slept this up. He slept inside.
A
She slept outside.
D
That was by herself.
B
That we.
A
We said that a million times herself to sleep. Did any of you else. It was not this latest Family day episode when Melanie and Kenzie had their talk where Melanie kind of called Kenzie on some of her, and Kenzie looked Melanie in her eyes and said, you're my best friend in here.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
I almost walked off my balcony. I almost walked off my balcony and then into oncoming traffic.
D
Dude, you remember?
A
I was like, it was awesome. Melanie was like.
B
She goes, really? You haven't spoken to me in three weeks.
A
Correct.
B
And I was like, damn, dude.
A
Immediately called her out. But I was just like, kenzie is on. Like, the producers are in her ear too clearly, because the run around she's been doing the last few episodes having talks with all the girls, and she's going like this. I love you. Oh, my God. Calling people her best friend. And I'm like, we have not seen you speak to this human this entire show.
B
Yeah, dude, that was hilarious. Dan. When tangent. But when during the scavenger hunt when tt's getting dragged around and Zach walks up to her for the next clue and she goes, you haven't spoken to me once. And Zach was like, it is so funny to think that some characters just don't talk.
D
Zach doesn't do much at all.
A
I know.
D
And then after the whole news came out of them, like, K. Like, they have that talk about not like, oh, we're like, we're exclusive, but we're not boyfriend and girlfriend. K gets bullied.
B
Oh, dude, this is the next big beat I want to talk about. So go here.
A
Get us back on the rails here.
B
This is it. This is the other big.
A
It's late here, folks.
C
We're.
A
We're burning midnight oil.
B
Keep going, Daniel.
D
Kada gets bullied by the sleep.
C
If we weren't talking about Love island right now, I would be so zoned out in bed.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
Mask on.
B
K and Zach go exclusive.
C
Yeah.
B
And then Kada tells the girls and they go, oh, so you're in a situationship.
D
Yeah.
B
And then some of the most overreaction reactions of all time happen.
D
Instead of. Instead of, like, well, get getting upset at her, man, for not, like, for
B
not wanting to date her.
A
Okay, listen, we can tease the whole. The emphasis on being boyfriend girlfriend after knowing each other for six weeks. We can do that all we want but this is a game people remember. This is a game show.
D
Yep.
A
They are trying to win money. People who come on the show have seen the show. They know that you have a better chance of winning if you make the effort to go, we are boyfriend and girlfriend.
D
So I did. Shouldn't they.
A
So I cannot believe how much of a clown Zach looks like with that whole stance.
D
I know.
A
The whole. I want to close things up. First of all, uttering close things off in this villa at this juncture is so common. I'm like, oh, any. You guys are gonna explore now.
B
Yeah.
C
He's like, like, as if there's more bombshells coming in.
A
Or like, Zach's like, you know what? I'm gonna pull an eye out for
B
a chat real quick.
A
Like, give me a break. Closed off. No Sherlock. But on top of that, sitting there and going, we're closed off. We're exclusive. But, like, the term girlfriends are super important.
B
That's a big deal to me.
A
It's a big deal to me.
B
You're on Love Island.
D
That.
A
That. Yeah. That is said to sound so deep and mature. And I'm like, you sound so. You. You sound like a clown. You're a bozo the clown. So I think the overreactions, Please get into them, I agree with. But at the same time, I'm like, I hear that. And I'm like, what are you talking about?
D
Yeah, well, it's just the language. The language this year is boyfriend and girlfriend. Like, his whole thing was like, well, this is Love Island. Like, I, you know, girlfriend's a big deal, but like. And maybe that works last season or the season before, because that girlfriend and boyfriend wasn't getting used. It was just like, hey, we're closed off. Like, we're exclusive, but when two couples do it, it right? And then, like, you're about, like. And also, too. It wasn't like she didn't want to do it. She, like, agreed with him. She's like, oh, I want to. You know, I want to be exclusive, too. And then she just took as much as he would give her, because her first interview after she was like. Or when she was talking with Trinity about it, she's like, we're not boyfriend and girlfriend, but I'm a BS Girlfriend. Soon, like, like, she would. She would have said yes to being boyfriend and girlfriend right there. But of course, wouldn't do.
B
Danny. This is my biggest point, Kada. If Zach had said, do you want to be my girlfriend? She would have said overwhelmingly yes. Instead, he said, I'm not Ready for you to be my girlfriend. I'd like to be exclusive. That's what I want. And she went, that's what I want too. Which is a lie. She wanted to be his girlfriend. And then when the girls were like, why won't he date you? She was like, this is what we want. Respect what we want. And I was like, you want to be his girlfriend?
A
Hey, hey, hey, hey, listen.
D
She blows up on the girls and
B
then started bawling, crying.
D
Why not blow up on Zach?
A
Okay, but don't. We're not going to. I know that you're kind of out on Kate of both of you now.
D
No, no, no. It's not like a fuck kata thing. It's a genuine question. Why is it fuck you to your best friends, but your man who's put you in this situation? Yeah, why not fuck him? Because he's giving you absolutely nothing. And then he spent the next two days moping around. I don't think he had a fucking line. He went into bed and was laying on the bed by himself. And Bryce comes up and he's like, hey, bro, you okay? So to be honest, no, like, bro, do something.
A
Like, okay, you're, you're, you're getting. Which where I wanted to veer you. I agree with you. It should be blow up at Zach. But I'm not going to fault Kada for Zach's fuck up. I think we all.
B
I'm only faulting her for balling.
A
Respectfully, I think we need to shift this anger towards Zach because.
D
Towards Zach.
A
We know exactly why Kate is blowing up on the girls. Because she is upset that Zach isn't willing to just fudgeing. Say a word.
B
Yeah.
A
And instead of being like, hey, man, that's ridiculous. This is a situationship. I would like to have that label. She feels scared to say that. So instead she's going, going, yeah, okay, that works. Hoping that he'll eventually get there. And then when she immediately gets called out by her friends, that struck a nerve with her. She wasn't mad at the friends. She was mad that they were right. Yeah, that's what happened. Okay, exactly.
D
And she. But like, she plays this tough guy role and she's like, she's beautiful. All power to her. She should be. But like, you can't claim that on one side and then completely fold. I mean, she rewarded Zach for literally telling her, I'm not ready to be your boyfriend. And she literally, like, was up in arms about it. She's like, oh, my gosh, I'm so happy. Wait I'm so happy.
B
Like, do you think they're dead?
A
I think she's just trying to convince herself. I think she's trying to convince herself that, like, she's like, no, this is cool. This is what I want.
C
I have such, like an, A different opinion on this.
D
Good.
A
We need that.
C
And not that, not that I don't disagree with you all, but I am someone who, like, not that the title matters so much, but, but I would rather not get into a relationship with someone that I'm not like 100% about. And it seems with the two of them that because of the distance, et cetera, they're not 100% sure if it's going to work. So maybe they, in that sense of the word, like, take it a little bit more seriously. However, as you said, Dan, like, like, there is no reason for them to have a sit down conversation of, I would like to be exclusive and close off if this were a normal scenario. And like, like, if this, if this were a normal scenario, what would happen is they'd be like, laying down somewhere being like. Like, we're exclusive, right? Yeah, obviously. But like, let's, let's figure this out and see if we can make this work on the outside in order to like, see if we should make things boyfriend and girlfriend. But obviously we're not really hooking up with other people. That's the only way this should go. There shouldn't not be like a, will
A
you be my exclusive?
D
Yeah.
B
I also don't. I've been. You guys have cheered me on.
A
That's a great take. And I, and I also really appreciate that perspective of like, sometimes he made a meal out. Even us. Well, also, like, even us watching this show, when we see how ridiculous stuff gets, it's easy to be like, I'm considering this in the real world versus I'm considering this show.
B
Yeah.
A
Because, like, looking at that, I'm thinking like, Zach, you're on a TV show. Just say boyfriend, girlfriend. But Emily, you make a great point. Like, if they were in the real world, I would be like, I totally hear Zach. Like, it's. You don't need the label yet. Like, you're, you're exclusive. It just sounds funny in the show because I'm like, there's no one else here.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, you're not hooking. There's no way to hook up with someone else because there's no one else here.
B
Yeah.
D
The issue is, it's one side. It. So, like, she would so be his girlfriend. That's the issue that's why Zach's in the wrong.
B
That's what I was saying.
D
Way of thinking. But if they're both thinking that way, that's fine. But Zach, like, Kada, clearly would be right now if a ring was put on her finger.
A
That's a great point.
D
Oh, my gosh. Yeah. So that's why, that's why it's like, like, it's like, that was a stupid thing to do. And then he moped around. Like, and then, I don't know. Like, and then she sat there and talked about she doesn't have a stand fan base. There's only three girls on the show that do. Well, you can't say a thing about that because they will vote you out of the fucking villa. They have before, like, Anaya, Melanie and Trinity have the biggest fucking fanbase. Like, there are little Twitter accounts that are named after them that will fight to the death. So Kada getting saying they're like, after they get in the bottom vote. And then she went and talked shit about all the other couples. Like, like, literally everybody. And I and Carl caught a bullet. And it's like, well, you can't do that. So she did that. And then Zach being a fucking doofus. Like, not, I mean, like, it's okay to have that thinking, but not when your girl is clearly on the different pages. You. And then, and then again, you're in. You help. You help Casey give a proper proposal to another girl. Like, I know, I know. Cato was sitting there like, oh, yeah,
A
that must have been torture. I, I don't think we can fault Zach for feeling the way he feels, but.
D
No, we can. He's treated her like they went to the hideaway. And, and then he immediately goes, would you be mad if I pursued a bombshell, though?
B
He literally, dude, that was crazy.
C
We saw Kate. His mom called him out.
A
The is wrong with instant.
B
She goes, that wasn't a funny joke. I was like, he wasn't joking.
A
I think Zach has said so many stupid things. Also. The, like, I love you in bed. And then that's a joke. It was a joke. I'm like, what are you. If he didn't have an accent, it's crazy.
C
That's not a funny joke.
A
And I love that his siblings called him out. Like, his sister was like, this. You said that. I don't think you were joking. And he's like, no, no, no. I, I, I really do like her, though. I'm honestly, like, I'm obsessed with that. And it's like, dude, what, what's what's happening here?
C
If you're obsessed, you wouldn't pull her aside to ask to be exclusive.
D
I've never seen this man get more jittery and have his eyes light up than when he was asked to come meet Bryce's parents. Yeah, Grandma and Mom. Like, he was like.
A
He was, like, literally holding his hand,
B
and he was like, I'm nervous.
D
It was like Christmas morning for this kid.
A
Also, it's like, oh, my gosh.
B
We're.
A
When he does these things that he does to Kada. And then it's like, Kenzie's family comes in, and Kenzie was like, to her brother, who's your crush? And he was like, kada. And, like, Zach's like, he is. He is good looking. I'm like, are you jealous of this kid, too?
D
No, Literally.
A
Calm down.
D
I also think it was grandma and mom that kind of initiated him pulling Kada over because it was like, what the are you doing? Like, yeah, he, like, goes over and is nervous and, like, expects them to get up and hug him and realizes they're not because, like, they. Please stay away from my son. And then he sits down.
A
Stop trying to break up.
D
He sits down, and it's almost like he, like, remembers. Oh, shit. Like, oh, yeah, Kata. You want to come and you want to be. Finally remembers. He's, you know, oh, I'm gone.
B
I was in a couple, bro.
D
Oh, my gosh. It's. He's special.
B
We also. You called out in text. The. The Casey asked girlfriend, I thought was pretty fun. That scavenger hunt with the boys.
D
That's what Love Island's supposed to be about. Their whole mentality where it's like, we don't give a fuck about anybody else in this villa. We are just set on each other. That's what a connection is. And it's. It's become just this friendship thing where it's all, like. There's all these clicks the court four. All this, like, no lunch table. All this. It's supposed to just be about you and the other opposite sex on the island. And then when you got that, when you get that connection, it's everything else. It's me and you, baby. And they are the only ones doing that, dude.
B
Everybody else is considering everybody else with jealousy. Was Anaya watching Casey put on?
D
Well, dude, there was a great still shot of Trinity, Anaya and Cata all looking a little kind of, like, gagged. Melanie was honestly pretty. Pretty stoked.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
D
Those three were kind of just like, oh, do you know why? It's because their relationships all blow. They do.
B
I know. Not Price and Trinity.
A
Some good friendship.
D
Yeah, some good friendship brewing. But this is Love island. Not hating.
A
No, no, no, I know. I. I mean, like, I think a lot of the drama has. Has simmered down. I think people are being nice and friendly with each other, which I like to see.
D
Everybody needs to, you know, production probably shuts down something.
B
Yeah.
A
Keeping things cute again.
B
Totally. Okay, let me give you my highlights and we'll do the awards.
A
Yes.
B
The. I cannot believe they sent Melanie and Sincere to the hideaway.
A
Well, we know Emily called that out too. Like, that was in like. Trinity and Bryce are the number one couple in America and they have not been. Also, how crazy was that when Bryce's grandma came in and the first thing she said, she was like, why haven't you guys gone to the hideaway?
B
Dude, that was one of my next highlights.
A
Dan, the girl grandma's being like this. You guys need to start clapping cheeks.
D
The girls got to decide is going on. The girls got to decide. Anaya spoke up and said, please, ladies, please, for the love of. Do not put me in there with Carl. Yeah, I don't like no physical attraction. Ladies, please. I'll get exposed. Kenzie wasn't even allowed to speak.
B
Yeah, correct, Kenzie.
D
The adults are talking. And then Trinity and Bryce already had a date, right?
B
Yeah.
C
The date is so different than the hideaway that like, the hideaway.
D
True.
A
I couldn't stop laughing whenever they showed clips of that date. Bryce and Trinity on that little catamaran. They're just laughing at the fact that there is a cameraman. Yeah, yeah. Like, they're showing the drone shot when the cameraman's off, like, probably on a little dinghy. But I'm like, all those like, close up shots. I'm like, there's just a cameraman right next to that.
D
Everybody eats in the Core 4, though. That's like their main rules. So, like, all the girls had eaten besides their girl Mel.
B
Yeah.
D
Even though it makes zero sense.
A
When the first screamed out Melanie insincere. My jaw hit the floor.
B
Yeah, yeah. It was also. I don't know if you noticed this when that they were like, who should we send? Dylan, like, looks at Kenzie and he just. Did you see this?
C
No. Wait, what did he say?
B
He goes, should we make our argument?
C
Yeah.
B
She goes like. She goes like.
A
And also that was.
C
What is your argument? Let's hear it.
A
That was right after they had like their. They were essentially. They. He was like, you are awful. And I don't feel safe with you at all. I don't trust too. I got a text hideaway and he goes, should we make our argument? I was like, me too.
B
She literally goes like, oh, she was disgusting.
A
That was actually like one of the few times recently I've been on her side because she was like, dude, like,
B
couldn't even give him the laugh.
C
The dirtiest.
A
She was like, bro.
D
She was like, shut up, Dylan. I tried. Like, they don't trust me. I tried. They hate you and they hate me.
B
Oh, they hate us, Dylan. They hate us. They quiet.
C
Oh, the. Should we make our argument was so brief.
B
That was crazy.
A
Insane.
D
He's the best.
B
This. I noticed this in an episode earlier, but they called it out this week. Carl being a mouth tape guy when he sleeps is so perfect.
A
What is this? Oh, I thought you were. I was like, that is the most Carl in the world.
B
Sleeping alone is Carl. I cannot.
A
Again, there's no disrespect because, Emily, I said this last week. I. I will continuously applaud the people who go on this show. It takes so much mental and emotional fortitude to go on a show like this. I can't even fathom it. I will. I. I cannot figure out why Carl is on this show. Same, like everything about Carl, then meeting his incredible, gorgeous mother and sister. They are like a perfect family. And I'm like, why are you. What are you doing, Carl? Well, like Carl, in my mind, Carl is a doctor. Carl is a pediatric surgeon. And I'm like, you're. What is happening here.
B
Y.
D
In reality, he's a Love island contestant.
A
I know.
D
And we don't know Carl because if we did know Carl, we know exactly why he's on the show. This guy. You know, I love Carl. Body counts probably out the roof, no doubt. But like on this, you know, on the surface, some guys are really good at that.
B
Yep.
A
You know, he's ripped and he speaks Mandarin.
B
He most not makes perfect sense. The most jealous I've been of any moment of this show was when the girls got a rented out water park to themselves. That was pretty cool.
A
I was like, and I've done that before.
B
I'd never seen that, obviously. And then my biggest note was I. I wrote. I was like, damn, the guys. I can't believe gave this to the girls. The guys would have lit.
C
That was weird.
A
And then Zach, like, that felt like something. The guys, the girlies should be going to the spot.
B
And then when they got back, when they got back, they go. We went. We had A whole water park to ourself. And Zach goes, that is like. He was so pissed. And I was like, I hear you, bro.
A
Zach is. I think Zach is like 14 years old.
B
And yeah, I love that take, dude. I love that take you have you right?
A
Seriously, it's like so many of the things that he does and says is the behavior of like my 14 year old homie. And I'm like, yeah, it's Zachary.
D
Did we do we think?
B
I feel like Mel, Melanie and Sincere did smash in the hideaway and they're just lying. Like they keep telling everyone they didn't do anything.
A
Oh, I. I don't know. I don't think I had a gra. I actually think Mel probably was like, nah, bro, you're not.
D
Yeah, Melanie wouldn't lie.
B
Do the way they were talking about
D
it after, Melanie wouldn't lie about it.
A
See the crazy cut and like when they're in there, like it cuts and it. It put up subtitles. I. I got subtitles on because yeah,
D
it's like, don't stop.
B
Yeah, I was think they smashed dude and then French fry. But I like how Bryce after. Because Bryce always does this. He goes, so what'd you end up doing in there? Like his Bryce is always like, was it butt stuff?
D
It's like, dude, Bryce is clearly into button feet, man.
A
We don't.
D
Dude, I love butts, especially big ones.
A
We don't, we don't kink shame here.
B
And then last highlights Bryce's grandma. You already said the hideaway thing. But she also goes. She goes like, it's no good being underserved in a three way. And Bryce goes, she's speaking from experience. And I was like, God, dude, she was incredible.
A
Who? There was another. I think it was Kada. When their family members came, like the first thing out of K's mouth was like, did you like the hideaway scene?
B
Yeah, it was K. I remember like,
A
what the fuck are we doing?
B
I would be legitimately uncomfortable coming there. If I was a few of their parents, like Anaya's parents after she, like, what has gone happened to her? I'd be like, yeah, this. This sucks.
A
All right, keep going.
B
And then I thought Dylan's best friend coming was gas.
D
That was awesome.
B
Like, he was like, bro, like, that
D
is what is more Dylan.
B
Thank you.
A
Danny said before that one of these cast members is going to have their best friend show up with their mom. We would have been like this Dylan, why? Just such Dylan energy. Like it's like, yeah, like Dylan's buddy is Going to show up.
B
That.
A
That made so much sense to me.
B
That was great. Great. Okay, Emily, we do awards at the end. The first award is your best friend in the villa right now. And you don't have to start. Danny, you wanna start? Or Dan Powers, you start
A
hands down, easily. No question. Melanie's sister.
B
That's what I wrote. Incredible. I was like, this is such a loophole. Let's go. Dude, thank you for finally someone saying something.
A
Dude. Like, it was that she. She a. She was brave enough to call sincere out. Like instantly she was like, dude, you're a rat.
B
Yeah.
A
And then what? There was no. Well, you know, we'll see. She was like, this is playing you. You are better than this. You're stronger than this. Get the out now.
B
I love playing you.
D
I'm gonna do a double.
B
Okay.
D
This is okay. But I really liked There are no rules. Casey and TT's both their. Both their moms. The way they were talking about the two of them, very. To me it was the realest out of all the parents because they didn't like, like love bomb the other partner. Casey's mom was like, I like her.
B
Yeah.
D
And TT's mom was like, I like him.
B
It wasn't like a nice guy.
D
He's the one for you. She's the one for you.
B
Yeah.
A
It's always that dude.
D
And that's what all the other ones did. Besides obviously Melanie sincere. And obviously Kenzie and Dylan had a weird dynamic that only got shown for 30 seconds because that was probably a disaster. But like the rest of that, like the rest of the parents was very weird. You could tell. It was like, we are trying like, I hope our cup my son's couple wins or I hope my daughter's to couple wins. They came on to me and gave like kind of a real like, I like her. I've only known her for two weeks.
A
Yeah.
D
And I like him. I've only known him for two weeks. But like I, you know, does he make. And it wasn't like, I can tell you he makes you happy. It's like, does he make you happy? Yeah, you know, very like a conservative way to look at it.
A
I also felt like the way TT was like, so what do you think about Casey felt. Didn't feel like a leading question. It genuinely felt like she was asking them what they think.
D
Exactly. Which was pretty cool. Which is like, okay, that you guys seem to have a real family dynamic. And also I think they're kind of understood like, like, if we win the show, it's Going to be a miracle. My Lord.
B
Would it be beautiful? Would it be awesome? Great answer. Okay. Best friend in the villa right now. And it can be an actual cast member. We all went.
C
Yeah, but that's where I was struggling is like, I don't.
D
I couldn't find.
C
I couldn't. Yeah, same. So I'm going to go. I'm going to go. Kenzie's brother.
A
Yeah.
C
Just for, like, admitting his crush in the villa.
B
Like, yeah, I was.
D
He was.
C
I like, k. But I. But I. If I, like, if I was not trying to be original, I would go. Go with Dan's.
D
Yeah, I was. I was trying to think outside the box.
A
Everyone was thinking that. Like, yeah, Melanie, you're so right. Kenzie's brother did, like. He was like, 20, and it did feel like he was there.
C
Cute. I could see him going on in a couple years.
A
He was like, bouncing around. He's kind of, like, sick.
D
He probably kind of without will to Zach, and he probably will be a contestant.
A
That would actually be numbies. I wouldn't lie. I won't lie. If, like, next year or in two years, we find out Kenzie's brother's on the show.
D
Like, yeah, that's a great way to get anybody to watch.
B
Okay, I'm gonna say start villain. Now we do villain. Your biggest villain in the villa. I've been waiting all episode to say this.
A
Wow.
B
Sincere's dad.
D
Yes.
B
Because, dude, I got two things for you. Number one, he literally is sincere. He's just regurgitating lines he knows you want to hear. Back home. He's not like that at all. You trust me, I raised him. Like, all he's doing. I see exactly why sincere is the way he is. Because all that man did is lie to Melanie's whole family's face. And then that's why. That's where Sincere got it. And that's what he does. And all the posturing to Sincere, one on one, was for the camera. I bet. I bet that dude has cheated on every woman he's ever been.
D
Sincere dad is a great talker.
B
And then, dude, this is my favorite thing. Sincere's dad. I don't know why this going to be laugh. I don't know how old he is, but him to him going, we don't move. That's not how we move. And then he goes, we stand on 10 toes from. I was like, brother, are you still clubbing? Did you just say 10 toes? What are you.
A
I. I had the same feeling listening to him talk. I. I was like, how old is this? And listen, there's a chance that he's like, 45.
B
Yeah, yeah, bro.
A
But, like, I. I agree. I was like, this dude's talking to Sincere like it's his boy. He's not talking like a dad.
D
He did a good job. Because you could tell when he started speaking on his son's behalf, Melanie's sister and mom completely kind of, like, postured down a little bit, kind of let their guard, because it was like, okay, I'm gonna listen to the grown man here speak on his dumb sons, because he was literally belittling his, like, but just to.
B
He made the nose perfect. He played it perfect.
C
Perfect.
B
Played it perfect.
D
It worked because it worked on Melanie, too. Like, like, now Sincere has one more chance because his dad went like, that's not my son.
B
That's not how we move.
D
Yeah, but he knows exactly 100.
B
He knows exactly what he want to hear, dude. And then that's how we're Sincere. God.
D
His first one on one interview, I was like, yo, that's Sincere. Yes, dude. I was so good.
B
Okay, Villain, Anyone?
C
Looks like a baby in, like, a old man's body. Like, he had a baby face, but then he had, like, no hair.
A
That's what it is.
B
Maybe he's young. That's why he's saying, like, 10.
C
You know what he looks like? He looks like Sincere. If Sincere got, like, Yaga'd so hard that his hair came out.
D
Yeah.
C
You know when you, like, pull someone's ponytail? Like, Yaga.
A
That's what Yaga.
B
Is that.
C
Oh, you're so.
B
Is that what you said?
C
So, like, millennial.
D
You know what it is when you don't possess, you don't.
C
Remember, like on vine when they used to pull you.
B
Grant knows that.
C
Did you catch that one?
A
Well, I was gonna say the other thing, too. I. I heard once when.
D
When you laugh while we're living, God
B
gives you a toupee.
A
That was the saying that I heard growing up.
B
Okay. And I think that's what happened to Sincere's dad.
D
Yeah, it's definitely because somebody on his mom's side is balding. I have an opposite take. I have an opposite take. I think. I think he looks so young, because when you have. When you possess no empathy and you lie for a living, you do not stress at all. All, like, you have no real feelings. So he just, like, looks like a baby. That's why Sincere looks so good.
B
They have great skin.
D
Yeah, great skin.
B
Great.
D
Be like, I'm. You know, I'm. People who care More age a little bit quicker.
B
Yeah, I love that dude. Okay. Villain either.
C
While we are on the topic of sincere villains, I will say that his brother was my villain just because. Oh. Like, he really just irritated me. He. He looks like he says six, seven every other minute of the day and does. And does Fortnite dances in the corner and throws, like, fucking paper balls at his teacher. Like, I don't fuck with him. I think he was only going along with what his dad was saying because he's on television.
D
Yeah.
C
I think when he's in private with Sincere, he's gonna be like, yo.
D
Yeah.
B
Oh, yeah.
D
All three of them.
B
All three of them, Dude, Danny, Danny, you know what I want,
C
dude.
B
You know what I wanted so badly?
A
Hold on, hold on, hold on. We need to take a moment and appreciate everything Emily just said, because that is so true.
B
Correct.
A
I. I was looking at that kid and I was like, you are a snake.
B
Oh, yeah, yeah.
A
He wasn't saying anything, and I was like, I know that you've been like this.
C
I love what.
B
Since you're this. We have jokes many times. Like, I'm gonna get so much clout when I go back to high school.
D
Yeah, yeah. He probably talks back, and he's probably just the worst dude.
B
We have. We have said many times in the show, like, oh, God, if that had happened, it would have been cinema.
C
This.
B
Truly. I had this thought watching this, and I was like, this will be the greatest moment in television history. And it did not happen. Melanie's family and Sincere's family meet the women are like, that was fucked up. You've been fucked up. Sincere's like, I've been acting, right? I'm learning by myself. Sincere's dad goes, that's not the boy I raised. That's not Sincere at home. Like, they do that whole thing and then they break off to the one on ones. If Sincere had sat down with his dad and brother and they'd been like, got her, bro. Like, I was ready for them to be like, bro, you brought Got her. I thought literally, they were gonna be
A
like, we didn't see the goodbye.
B
Yeah, yeah, dude, rinsed her dog. Keep it up. I was like, this is gonna be the greatest moment in television history.
D
If they're like, so bad for that girl. She's not completely innocent herself.
A
Who's your villain?
D
Am I the last to go?
A
No, no.
B
Dan and Emily. Unless you. Oh, no. She said, since he's brother. Yeah.
D
What are you talking about? Let me go last. I need to think. I was thinking.
A
I Mine is the correct. Pick this.
B
Oh, fraud.
A
You know what? I'm going say, Kenzie.
B
No, dude, wait, wait.
A
You will never get it, but when I say it, you're going to go,
B
oh, my God, they are a fraud.
A
Kenzie's dad. Oh, thank you, Zach.
B
Wait. Cuz if Grant knows, you might be on to something.
A
Kenzie's dad. They. They go, your dad. Like that. Kenzie goes, oh, I got a text.
B
Oh, that was the.
A
And there's a video from her dad that is the most overproduced, fraudulent I have ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if that dude's accent is fake.
B
Yeah.
A
But this man from Boston, this man was reading off a teleprompter a speech that the producers wrote for him. And it cuts to her mom crying. Listen to it. And Kenzie's completely unmoved by it. Like, it ends. And she's like, oh, that was so cute. And I'm like, this is a script, A literal script to read. I was like that. And also, why is Kenzie getting a video from her dad? Yeah. Where's everyone else?
B
Such a good point, actually.
C
Yeah. Also the way that she explains and speaks about her parents and how in love they are, like, why aren't. Why aren't her parents, like, in Fiji? I mean, granted, he might have work, but like. Like the way she talks about that he plans dates for every week. It's like, honey, then taking her to Fiji, the most romantic that you did.
A
Then playing that music and trying to play off, like, that was a little. Little line by him off the cuff. It was a literally performed read and performed speech fraud.
D
I find it insane that the only father that came was Sincere's dad.
A
Agree.
D
It was probably because the mom was like, I cannot lie.
C
I didn't. That's such a good.
D
I cannot go on the show and lie.
A
Danny pointed out at the beginning, he was like, we're going to see maybe one dad here.
D
Yeah. None of the dads come on. Because they're either like, you know, it's either like, with your son, you're like, hey, dude, I'm proud of you.
B
And the girl dads must be like, this is disgusting.
D
Yeah, you have, you know, you've been tongued by.
B
Yeah. And you. You were wearing a thong literally 24, 7 for 6.
D
Like, but both ways. I'm not trying to, like, shame either side, but no, of course not. It's not like there's no even the mom. The moms are always going to show up because they're the ones that Carried that kid. Like moms, no matter. Even if the moms disagree, they're going to show up, they're going to put on a face, they're going to be on the side. Dads can kind of do that thing where it's like, hey buddy, good luck. Yeah, but your brother's going to go represent me.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
I would feel weird. I, I think I totally would understand if any parent would feel weird watching a show where their kid was on here and they're talking about. Think of popping each other's ass.
D
Here's the hot dog eating challenge.
A
It's insane. God love all of these parents for being willing to come on this show
B
when they're like this.
A
They're talking about French fries.
D
That would be my mom's first question. So. So French frying.
B
Yeah, yeah.
D
What do you guys mean by that? And I, you know, it's like, that gets cut obviously.
B
Yeah.
D
I gotta explain to mom, hey, like,
B
yeah, I was, I was finger popping her ass.
A
Someone's ass.
D
I can point at the girls I french fried.
A
Yeah, it's off.
D
Is awful.
B
And would it be weird? I had this thought today. Would it be weird? And I know it's all like accelerated and shit, but to meet the parents of a guy you, you like and have been kind of like dating on a show while you were literally in a.
D
Wearing no pants like you.
B
That must be the weirdest experience of all.
C
This is where I, this is where Melanie becomes my mvp because that girl put her shorts on.
B
Yeah.
C
Pop off queen. No, but Kada's Kada running over. I was like, scenario. Like I would feel. Unless the producers make them do this.
D
No.
C
Then I just, there's no.
A
I would come out in a Michael Jordan sweatsuit.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
D
I didn't want to say it first, but Kada was butt naked during family day today. And, and she's like, you know her, her bikinis have been skimpier. This definitely. They've been on the skimpier side, which is fine. Great body. Okay. Do you.
A
Again, the producers know what they're doing? But the sheets are talking.
D
She chose the skimpiest one for. To meet his mom that I've. I have not seen.
A
Well, luckily his siblings.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
D
But she didn't know she could have worn one of those little lace pieces.
C
Like, I don't even wear that in front of my own bear.
B
Yeah.
A
Do you have a villain or.
D
I'm just, I'm going to go with Sincere's dad too.
A
Yeah.
D
Okay. It's a good pick I have a real pick, but I'd get just torn apart by all you fake.
B
All right, you tell me after that.
A
I love that.
B
Okay. The quick quotes of the week award.
A
Wait, can Emily and I go, oh, yeah.
B
Do you have quotes? Yeah.
A
Do you do.
C
Can you recite?
B
Yeah.
A
But do we agree that's it?
C
Yes, absolutely.
A
When Melanie's family was there, we were sitting and watching her sister absolutely spit roast, sincere, like a pig, which he is. And I looked at Emily and Danny, and I was like, I feel like we haven't heard. Like, does Melanie's mom speak very good English? And then she then speaks the most beautiful Spanish we've ever heard. And I was like, oh, yeah.
B
Okay.
C
The fact that it was in Spanish, too. Just made.
A
Agree, agree. So Melanie's mom is just, like. She finally comes in with the haymaker. Parental advice. And it's after her sister has been like, stop. Like, can letting this guy come back to the plate? Like, what are we doing here? And Melanie's mom goes, why would you give him a second chance when there are so many people out there waiting for the first?
D
Like, straight out of a Disney movie?
A
Like, we stood. I was like, chill.
B
That is chills, dude. Oh, dude, we were.
A
I, Like, I. I almost left the room.
B
Yeah.
A
I was like, that is a haymaker from.
B
She's a poet. She's a poet laureate.
D
It's, like, bittersweet for me, because that's such good advice. And it's the most gorgeous. Like, some people aren't even lucky enough to hear one line like that for the them. And Melanie's going to go back to sincere, and she already did. And it's going to make her look. So I know you literally heard that line.
A
And then it just. Melanie dressed up going like this. I'm going to gamble.
B
And I was like, I believe in this connection so much.
D
Internet's going to go, how can you have a sister and a mom like that but still be such a dumb bitch? And it's like, her friends are actually
A
going to say that.
B
Yes, yes, yes.
D
Oh, well, maybe I need to get off the wrong side of Twitter. But, like, she, like, yeah, like, it always is her fault first, instead of it. Like, we need to hold the other girls accountable. Because, yes, Melanie is just as guilty like, she is her own person, but when everybody on the island is telling you one thing, you're gonna feel isolated and, like, she would feel alone and isolated, and that's the worst feeling. A human being can feel awful. It's in our DNA. So, like, she feels isolated. Like, if she doesn't agree with everybody and then does this thing where she does not pursue sincere, she understands that's death. Like, she's done, she's off the show. So she has no other option. And like, nobody sees that. They just see, like, oh, this dumb bitch keeps going back. She cannot do anything else.
B
That's fair. Actually. She has nowhere else to go at this point. She's trapped.
A
We've talked about that.
B
Is.
A
He is a dark wizard and he's the best spell on earth.
D
He's pass Voldemort.
C
He's.
D
So yeah.
C
I will say though, there. This is like something I've always emphasized to my friends who complain about, like, our other friends going back to guys and blah, blah, blah, blah. Like, at the end of the day. And I've been through this personally, someone can. Multiple people can tell you how much they don't like the guy you're with. But no matter what, like, internally, you know that. But you. There is no point of wasting your breath sharing that information with your friend, because your friend is. Despite how good your advice is every single time, they are going to need to figure it out themselves. They need to let it get to the point where they can no longer look at that man in the face because they're so disgusted on their own, not because everyone else around them is disgusted. Like, yes, a man can have shitty behaviors, but you still like them because, like, for some ungodly reason, you need to figure it out yourself. Like, I've always trusted myself that I'm gonna figure it out myself. Like, I've seen plenty of guys where my parents, my friends, family have not approved. And I knew that internally. And I was like, you know what? I agree, but I need to see this through until I get to where they're at. Like, that's just what happens. And like, it always does happen. There's never gonna. They're not gonna get married, they're gonna break up soon, but she's gotta figure it out herself. She's gotta get the ick so hard to where she can't even look at him in the eye anymore.
D
Exactly. That's how it should work. But it's the opposite on the show. She's not getting that advice from her. It'd be different if like, like her friends were saying, hey, you're a piece of sincere. Like, get rid of sincere. Get rid. And if she had still kept going
C
back then it's like real friends, when she gets outside of this villa, she's going, that's true to turn.
D
But that's all she has right now.
B
Yeah, yeah, you're both right.
A
Well, I think you're both right. That's a good point. But that is so true. It has to come because it's also like, I mean, we've all felt this in certain ways. It's like, even when you. The alarm bells are ringing and you do hear your. Your friends who've. You've known way fucking longer than these people, it is, I think, the other version or the next level of the figure it out myself that you're saying is the. I need to go through the proper emotions to get there. Because you sometimes can't just. You can't just cut it off because you're like, listen, I'm emotionally invested to a way that all of you aren't.
B
Yeah.
A
So I can't just cut it. I know in the back of my mind you're right. But I need to go through those proper emotions before I can cut it. Otherwise it won't be real. It won't be an actual cut cut. That's what you need to do. And that.
B
So she just has to get burned in real life by him.
A
And then that's like.
C
Or no, just he needs to up enough times to where she is. Like, now you're grossing me out. And it's like, you know how what people always say, like, about other people's friends, like, I don't like that girl. She me over, so you shouldn't be friends with her either. And that person will go, well, she never did anything to me. And then they do something to her, and then they're like, yeah, you were right. You were right. It's always, you were right. But they need to figure it out themselves. Like, there is just no way that not a lot of people, unless you are, have the most 1 million percent self respect, which nobody really has. Everyone has 199 self respect. You got. It's just like, you got to figure it out yourself. Like, like. Or else it doesn't feel like you've closed the chapter properly. Like, you need. Need. You need to see it through. Yeah. Until it's dead. Yeah.
D
You can, like, understand, but you don't understand it until you, like, really understand it and go through it. And like, yeah, that's. I guess that that is what's gonna have to happen. She's gonna get outside of the villa and have to get actual good advice and then keep going back to finally be embarrassed.
C
It's.
D
It's been the opposite on this show. And I'd love if it was vice, like, because then you could hold her more accountable if she was getting that advice from her friends. Like, bitch, that. Like, fuck that guy.
C
Guy.
D
You need to get away from him. Instead, it's been like, no, he's the. He's the man. Yeah, like, what?
C
What?
A
But it's been very.
D
Yeah, like, yeah, 100.
B
Rounding out quote of the week.
A
I know you got some quotes for
B
us, K. Like, she got a text. You know, I think it was the water park or something. Kate goes, I got a text. And Trinity goes, my heart is beating
A
out of my ass.
C
I love her.
B
Me too.
A
I love her so much. Every quote, quote, every time Trinity has, like, one of those little asides, they
B
are so hard creeping out of my ass. This one maybe is the first time I've ever been rattled about Carl. I couldn't tell if it was real or not, but him and an I are having a moment. And he goes, I'll come up to Nantucket. That's close to Georgia, right? And she goes, tough to hear. She was really tough to hear from me.
A
Did you catch that?
B
And I was like, that was tough.
C
That was giving.
B
Is close to Georgia.
C
That was giving the 2013 eyesight situation.
B
I was like, yes, 100%. I was like, like, And. And me and you are going, carl's a. A doctor. How could he be on Love Island? And Danny's going, because he doesn't know where Nantucket is. I'm like, you're surprised?
A
Surprise.
B
Danny's right. You're right.
C
By the way, nothing made me happier when Caleb got out of the villa and saw that he was right.
B
Yeah. God, that was awesome.
A
And then the eyesight thing.
B
Yeah.
A
Yes, correct.
B
And then this. Oh, he did on an after sun. They were like, by the way.
D
Oh, really?
B
Yeah.
D
Good for him.
C
He was like, I knew it.
D
Yeah, that's awesome.
B
And this was just. I would love to. I need to go back in time and experience this. Bryce and And Sincere are playing catch with a tennis ball. Does anyone remember this? And Sincere goes, what's the difference between this and a tennis ball? And Bryce goes, this is harder. And Sincere goes, what makes it harder? And Bryce goes, a tennis ball is empty inside. And Sincere goes, oh. And I was like, what is in that tennis ball? Like, I can picture Sincere throwing, like, a baseball around, basically. And he's like, what's the difference between this and Bryce? Is like, tennis balls are hollow, dude. What are you talking about?
A
It's probably a paddle tennis ball. Aren't those. Those really thick or something.
B
Those are, like, deflated. I think actually, like, I think there was a tennis ball with, like, sand
A
in it or something, because I've actually seen people, like, pop.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do paddle.
A
Yeah.
B
But I just pictured, like, Sincere's never
A
held a tennis ball. It's like when you're playing paddle or Padel, you literally have to, like, pop the ball so it's. It's not as.
B
So it doesn't go as hard.
D
Yeah, yeah.
A
It's like dead weight.
B
Yeah, exactly. And I just pictures, like, Sincere throwing this rock back and forth, and he's like, what? What is this? What is this? And Bryce is like, not a tennis ball, you psychopath. Okay, top two couples from everybody, and then instead of bottom two couples, I want. I want the two couples you think are getting voted out.
A
Okay, let's speed round this and do you want to start us?
C
I top. I don't have a top two, but top has to be Bryce and Trinity. I know nobody agrees with that.
D
I agree. No, yeah, they're in first place.
B
They're my lock one.
D
But, like, I think they're. Fake it. But, like, they're in first place.
C
I don't. I actually. I actually think they like each other.
A
I think they're like, best friends. I genuinely do think that they're not romantic, though. No, I'm not. I'm just. I'm not sure. Like, I think. But I dig them.
B
Yeah.
A
I think they're so funny.
D
Yeah. I'm a fan of them.
B
I'm being T and Casey and TT Is my two.
C
Okay.
A
I am B and T as they're calling it.
D
Oh, nice.
B
I haven't heard that.
C
Yeah. If I had to pick it and be kct.
A
Yeah, kctt. Me too.
D
Retweet.
B
Retweet. Okay. Who is getting got.
A
I mean, Kenzie and Dylan are.
D
And Kate is.
C
Is the ending. I know they do this differently in the uk.
A
We always do this. If Melanie and Sincere do not get voted off this.
B
No, but I think Danny's right, dude. I think they're not going to get voted.
A
Exactly. Please.
C
Okay.
D
My theory. Yeah.
B
My theory is that the Melanie and Sincere thing came out of left field
D
so that Kenzie can continue to stay on the show.
A
And then she will be right there again.
B
Kenzie gets away and then.
A
You know what? You know what?
C
Wait, how many more are getting?
A
Only one, so.
B
No, there's only four left. They keep four.
D
This one's up to an actual vote of the people. So they'd have. Yeah, this is America, they'd have to pull a second string, and if they do, like, good for them.
B
But that.
D
That would be the show basically admitting to the fans, like, we're rigging this. Yeah.
B
We don't.
D
If they do it twice in a row.
A
But, like, my pick can't include my top couple because she has alligator blood.
D
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
Her ability to stay alive is like nothing I've ever seen. Well, also the other thing, too, is if, like, that's the reason I think
B
they didn't vote off tonight. I think they needed one more episode to, like.
C
Yeah.
B
I thought they were going to Mel
A
on sincere, and then that's when America's like, sincere, and I just can't. I, I. I cannot fathom that could happen. Regardless of our love for Melanie, which is stratospheric, we are voting for couples. Voting for those two is. That's looney tune.
D
Everybody does.
B
They're going to vote for that.
A
That's looney tune behavior.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah, it is.
A
Like, I'm telling. I'm telling everyone watching, like, voting for. For. But you were, Danny.
D
No, no, I'm not.
A
Every vote for them is literally going. It's also poison in Melanie's brain.
D
I didn't mean to say, but I don't know.
C
Yeah.
A
I don't know what that.
D
Sorry. I. I was.
C
I was saying I think the votes, like, generically, like, are rigged.
D
Do you know they can't rig them, though. The votes are real. But then the producers can do a thing where they, like, may leave it up to a vote of the cast. They can easily rig them. No, it's like a rule. Like, I thought I was talking to Andrew about it. Nelse, like, if you. If you have like, like, like American Idol, like, these public votes, like, they ha. Like, if they do a ranking. Oh.
A
Like, legally.
D
Legally, they have to respect the vote. So, like, when they rank these couples, though, that is real. But they can always do the thing where it's like, okay, now the fellow islanders are gonna vote. That's how they do it. So that's how the. They actually control it. But the voting's real.
A
I think we're gonna see some FIFA level corruption.
B
Yeah. Maybe coming out one.
D
That would have to happen. It would have to be very corrupt for Kenzie to leave. For Kenzie to stay because Melanie's fan, like, Melanie will get the votes she needs to be safe. And if she's not, then voted.
A
Can we vote now?
D
No, you have to register. I vote.
C
Yeah, I did last year.
A
Is it. Is there A vote available right now?
D
No, the voting. And it closes, like, really quick.
B
Yeah. Closes so fast.
D
There'll be. There'll be one more, I think.
C
Oh, yeah, I think. I think. I'm sorry. This might be a hot take. I think Carl and Anaya have to go.
B
Me too.
C
I don't think they're the worst couple. I don't think they're actually into each other. They won't go.
B
But I'm with you.
A
I respect what they did. Bringing him back for like a lovely moment for her, which I think led to the really nice peacemaking moment. But I really don't think that there's chemistry there.
D
These three girls will not go. Trinity, Melanie and Anaya will be safe every time because they have the three biggest fan bases I've ever fucking seen
B
for this show ever.
A
Okay.
D
Everybody else is at risk.
B
Kenzie's out now, so it's one side. So it's either.
D
But they could do some rigging where Kenzie gets saved again and then it is up to the island to be like, okay, do we want to keep Kada and Zach or Melanie and sincere? And they might. If. If Kate and Zach are in the bottom two, they will win the vote every time.
C
Yeah.
B
Oh, right.
D
But that's what I mean. If. If they are up, if it leaves up to the islanders, they're going to choose Kaden, Zach to stay because Kate and Zach are mommy and dad.
B
But America might vote them out 100%.
D
They're gone. Like ka it up because she talks about the.
B
About all the girls. Yeah.
D
And then nobody likes Zachary because he's just not like, she's worth more than Zach.
B
Yeah.
D
At this point.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
All right.
D
But I think those will be my bottom two. Kenzie, Dylan, Kate is act well.
B
Yes. Yes.
C
Kenzie, Dylan, are my confident bottom. Yeah.
D
Yeah. Voting wise, they're not going to get any smoked. But the show could again. They could pull some voodoo, but they
B
did that last time. Yeah, right. How many times you're gonna call me an asshole?
D
I dare you.
B
Love island.
A
Family day was crazy. This was an awesome time. Emily, thank you so much for joining us.
C
I loved being here. I would love to. Yeah. Yes. I would love to come back for the finale.
A
You are.
C
I think you need to live stream the finale.
B
It's a good idea. We should just go live right now.
A
Oh, we absolutely should.
B
Yeah.
D
I love that you're going to replace me. M. Yep.
A
Emily, you're in.
C
I don't know how I ever will. Yeah.
A
We're going to scream we're going to. I can video you in live. Yeah, it's going to be great.
D
Down.
C
No one, no one could ever replace you.
A
Dude, we are going to wrap this up. What an amazing, amazing week so far. We can't wait for the weekend. We'll see you on Sunday.
B
See you Sunday.
C
Bye.
On this special “emergency” episode, the Empty Netters crew (Danny, Dan, Chris, and guest/producer Emily Binder) dives into the insanity and chaos of Week 6 of Love Island USA, Season 8. With family visits taking over the villa, shocking eliminations, and some of the most transparently produced moments yet, the group provides razor-sharp analysis, hilarious banter, and unfiltered opinions on all the drama. This episode highlights family dynamics, production meddling, relationship rollercoasters, and the essential role of the show's “villains.” As always, they give their own “awards” for Best Friend, Villain, and Quotes of the Week at the end.
Emily [01:40]: “Il tupen piccolo.”
Dan [01:48]: “You have a small penis. Yes. Wow. Really good.”
Danny [08:44]: “Danny last or two weeks ago called out that Kenzie has been dead in the water for weeks and production is just doing everything they can to keep her alive because she's good tv.”
Hosts are frustrated by the elimination of Corbin and Parmita, suggesting social alliances and production favoritism rescued Zach & Kada.
Danny [10:05]: “She’s the boss girl around other girls but around men, she just falls right back into Zach every time. It’s the worst kind of girl to be around.”
Discussion of “coordinator” jokes about Corbin, his Miami connections, and critique of “bro” culture in the villa.
Sincere’s manipulative behavior is called out repeatedly.
Emily [23:28]: “I have two things to say… when someone says ‘I can see you as my wife,’—like, we all have imaginations. Also, I don’t know if it’s because enough of this wasn’t captured, but where did this strong Bonnie and Clyde connection come from between them? ... There’s no way this woman could keep going back to him unless there’s something we’re not seeing.”
Melanie’s isolation is blamed in part on Trinity, Anaya, Kada, and her “friends,” who fail to support her and instead “gaslight” her back to Sincere.
Dan [24:26]: “She’s being abused not just by him, but also by Trinity, Anaya, Cada, and all her close friends on the show. None of them are honest with her, and they continue to choose Sincere over her.”
The family visit provides the only honest support Melanie receives, particularly from her sister and mom.
Melanie’s Mom [61:09]: “Why would you give him a second chance when there are so many people out there waiting for the first?” (translated from Spanish)
Dan [33:33]: “‘We’re closed off. We’re exclusive. But the term girlfriend’s super important.’ That is said to sound so deep and mature. And I’m like, you sound like a clown.”
Emily [36:41]: “I am someone who, like, not that the title matters so much, but I would rather not get into a relationship with someone that I'm not like 100% about.”
Bryce [47:20]: “So what’d you end up doing in there? ... Was it butt stuff?”
Chris [51:19]: “Sincere's dad ... all he's doing is regurgitating lines he knows you want to hear. ... That's where Sincere got it.”
Emily [17:07]: “Someone said the reason that girls say like so much is because they’re so used to being interrupted ... instead of pausing, they are still speaking ... less likely to be interrupted.”

In classic Empty Netters style, the episode moves at a rapid clip—tone is loose, at times biting, but never mean-spirited. The group loves the absurdities of Love Island as much as they mock them, offering humor, sharp analysis, and frequent pop culture analogies. Emily’s perspective as the “resident woman” is given a platform, shifting softboy/softgirl discourse into insightful territory. Every participant gets their moment of witty banter as well as thoughtful empathy when it comes to relationship talk.

The panel agrees that this is shaping up to be one of the most transparently “engineered” seasons yet—but that’s exactly what makes it fun to analyze. With the finale approaching, everyone’s rooting for Bryce & Trinity as a couple, Melanie as an individual, and the hope that Melanie gains enough self-respect to leave Sincere for good. Emily promises to return for the finale, with expectations high for more chaos, more production meddling, and one last round of callouts.
