Cooper Dean
BG is back, baby.
Reed Blankenship
Back in action. 16 years is insane. And his locker is open. So yeah, all you got to do is just go right to it.
Cooper Dean
He just got to get his. Get all his stuff and put it back in there.
Reed Blankenship
But see him today.
Cooper Dean
Or did see him. Yeah, I did see him.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, he's.
Cooper Dean
He's always a fun guy to see around the building. Know we got a young defense still. So having, you know, BG back and his.
Reed Blankenship
I have a guy that's been in there for 16 years.
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
And all the trash talk he does and the energy that he brings, it's just. It's what you need.
Cooper Dean
Welcome back to Exciting Mics presented by citizens. I'm Cooper Dean.
Reed Blankenship
And I'm Reed Blankenship. And we're back after the win in Minnesota. Looking forward to another great episode.
Cooper Dean
Remember to follow Exciting Mics on all platforms like comment, share and subscribe on YouTube or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Let's get it started. We're going to start this episode off with how we do every single week with what is exciting us this week. Mr. Blankenship, got a dub skis, man. Obviously win. Yeah, really exciting, boys. Got back in the wincom, that's big time against a really good opponent. So it's always good to win in this. In this league. You know, we. We know how hard it is to. To win, and especially on the road. Especially on the road.
Reed Blankenship
Stadium like that, man, it's.
Cooper Dean
Yep. But my little, little brother Jax made his first start at quarterback. He's been playing receiver this year, but he made his first start at quarterback, put up four touchdowns.
Reed Blankenship
You play quarterback too, right?
Cooper Dean
I did play quarterback in my back, in my high school days. The offense looked a little different when I was playing quarterback.
Reed Blankenship
No, you can't be saying that.
Cooper Dean
It didn't look different. Just the way I play quarterback is different than the way Jax plays quarterback.
Reed Blankenship
Why? Why is it different? How's it different?
Cooper Dean
I mean, I. I think I threw the ball a little bit more than he did. He. They use him more as a runner, but he still does throw it before touchdowns. Pretty solid start. I think there was a couple times we caught him reaching for the end zone. So we're gonna have to get him out of that habit.
Reed Blankenship
What not to do. Tape.
Cooper Dean
Yep. So we're gonna have to get him out of that habit. But they start the playoffs this week. So crazy.
Reed Blankenship
I forgot how fast high school ball goes by.
Cooper Dean
I know. Eight games, I think. And then they're.
Reed Blankenship
That was 10.
Cooper Dean
It's eight for us. Eight. And then the playoffs.
Reed Blankenship
Wow.
Cooper Dean
So they start the playoffs this week. So see what happens. We'll be watching.
Reed Blankenship
I think he might be a little bit better than you, though.
Cooper Dean
All right, buddy. Relax.
Reed Blankenship
Bro. How much taller is he than you?
Cooper Dean
He's like six. Five, Six. Six.
Reed Blankenship
That's insane.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, he looks.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, he's towering over you, dude.
Cooper Dean
Relax, buddy.
Reed Blankenship
All right. Sorry. Give your dude some credit, man.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I am back in the win column, baby. Let's go. Week seven came away with a win in Minnesota.
Reed Blankenship
I'll say. The atmosphere in Minnesota was pretty. It's pretty sick.
Cooper Dean
It's pretty cool. It was sick. It was pretty. Pretty cool. The way I started off. Start off the game with that. They blow that.
Reed Blankenship
The horn.
Cooper Dean
Well, Viking horn.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
That's pretty sweet. And then everybody starts doing the skull chant together.
Reed Blankenship
Was that the first time you've been there, or have you been there before?
Cooper Dean
No. So I actually. I grew up a Vikings fan, but I never been one to a game until, like, it was a couple months before the draft, actually. I was back home, and I had went up to Minnesota to go to the Vikings Lions game. So that was my first time in. In that stadium. And watching a Vikings game live, it's pretty sweet.
Reed Blankenship
That was the first time I was ever in that I didn't even know the windows could open like that.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, they have, like, these big.
Reed Blankenship
I mean, you can kind of see in the picture.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, the picture back there, they're like big revolving doors that open up in. In the end zones, which. Which is pretty sweet. It's probably one of the best stadiums I've. I've played in.
Reed Blankenship
I'm. I would. I would have to agree to that. This definitely my top stadium I've ever been in and played. Yeah.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, it was really nice stadium. Really good atmosphere. A lot of Eagles fans.
Reed Blankenship
A lot of Eagles fans.
Cooper Dean
A lot of Eagles fans, which is cool to see.
Reed Blankenship
You can kind of tell. You can kind of tell how the game's going to be. Like, when we run out, you hear more chance than booze. So you're like, okay, the fam's all here.
Cooper Dean
And, and even pregame, like, all the Eagles fans are aligned along the. The railing in. In the end zone and stuff where we were warmed up. So that was cool. But they. Yeah, it was good game for the boys. Came away with a win, obviously led by Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz, Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
How much did you know about him coming in, though?
Cooper Dean
I actually remember watching him when he was in. In college.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, really?
Cooper Dean
At North Dakota State. Remember watching him play. And then obviously, you know, he went to the Eagles and everything, and then now he's kind of bounced around and now he's been. Been with the Vikings this. This year, so. But yeah, he's. I mean, he's a playmaker. Makes plays with his feet.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, he's underrated. He's underrated scrambler, in my opinion.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I think so, too. Veteran. Veteran quarterback, obviously. So he's been. He's been around the game a little bit, but Art, I thought our defense did a good job of, you know, getting. Putting pressure on him. There's times we. We gave us some scramble lanes, allowed him to scramble for some yards, but, you know, for the most part, our. Our guys up front were putting a lot of pressure on him, which was. Which was huge for. For us in the back end, especially with the guys that they have caused the pick six. Yep.
Reed Blankenship
I mean, JC just wrecked that play.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, JC with the pressure on the quarterback, and then Jalex, you know, dropping out right into the window where he wanted to throw it and threw it right to him. And a few plays later got a touchdown. And then a few plays later, Drew's.
Reed Blankenship
Just in the right spot, man.
Cooper Dean
Andrew Makuba getting his second pick of the season for the rook. How about it?
Reed Blankenship
Dude, I didn't. I thought Q hit him. That's why I was like, so freaked out. Like, get up, get up, get up.
Cooper Dean
Oh, yeah.
Reed Blankenship
From my point of view, I thought Q hit him instead of whoever it was. Yeah.
Cooper Dean
I was hoping we get a return, but I really thought he was going to throw it back across the field to me, but shoot, me too. He. He took, took the deep shot and Drew made a good play.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
They'Re. I mean, they had six red zone trips and only one touchdown. It's huge. It's good red zone defense.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
Says a lot, but know it'd be better if we. If we could just not let them down there and.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, that's the best reds on defense.
Cooper Dean
That is the best reds on defense when we don't let them down there.
Reed Blankenship
But when you let them down there and it's time to. To nut up and don't. Don't give them anything.
Cooper Dean
Yep, we. We did that. You know, we did that. And like I said, the pass rush helped us out a lot in the back end. Obviously they had, you know, Jefferson and Jordan Addison and T.J. hockinson.
Reed Blankenship
Those.
Cooper Dean
Those guys, you know, so when you don't give. When you give the. When you don't give the quarterback enough time to read the whole field and, you know, find his guys, you know, that's. It's always, always good and always helps, you know, us in the back end.
Reed Blankenship
Helps everybody.
Cooper Dean
Helps everybody. Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. And Jay Hurts coming in.
Cooper Dean
Yep.
Reed Blankenship
Jay Hurts having a perfect passer rating to the, to the boys.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, the boys were. Boys were hooping on. On offense. Jay Hertz with the perfect passer rating. 300 yards passing.
Reed Blankenship
Over 300 yards passing. Yeah.
Cooper Dean
That is insane.
Reed Blankenship
Both AJ and Smitty had. Well, Smitty had what, 183. AJ had what, 1, 120, 130.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, something like that.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, it's. It's a good day in the office.
Cooper Dean
Smitty had. I think it was Smitty's career high. It was in yards in a. In a game which was huge. Obviously, that, that deep ball, that deep post that he caught, you know, for. For a touchdown. He had a lot of touchdown that, bro.
Reed Blankenship
You love seeing that on the sideline.
Cooper Dean
Ball go up and drop right in.
Reed Blankenship
The bucket for a T. Oh, so nice.
Cooper Dean
Then AJ he found AJ A couple times, obviously on the first drive of the game where he was in a scramble drill, AJ Turns it up. Field on a linebacker and gets loose for a TUD and. And then.
Reed Blankenship
Different, bro.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, it's crazy the way those guys can catch the ball, you know, especially in. In traffic is. Is huge different man, for our offense.
Reed Blankenship
Some things, man, they're just freaks.
Cooper Dean
Freaks.
Reed Blankenship
Can't ask too many questions, man. This is a family show. C.
Cooper Dean
It is time for the Citizens play that mattered most this past Sunday in Minnesota. Mr. Blankenship, what is the citizens play that mattered most?
Reed Blankenship
I believe the play that mattered most would be the pick six.
Cooper Dean
I believe so also.
Reed Blankenship
I mean, just because it was a huge momentum swing and you score on the defensive side of the ball. I mean, that's huge.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I think any, anytime you score on, on defense, it's. It's huge for a momentum swing in the game for, for any team, you know, and that was a huge. Obviously with JC getting the pressure and good hit on the quarterback. Jalex catching the ball and running into the end zone was, was huge for us. I think you could also throw in AJ's third down deep ball at the end of the game to kind of, kind of seal the game. The slant and go, I think was another. Was another big play. But you know, those two plays were huge for us in, in that game. To help us come out the win.
Reed Blankenship
That's the citizens play that mattered most. Visit citizens online@citizens bank.com madeready and make sense of your money with Citizens member FDIC. So I didn't.
Cooper Dean
I didn't even realize walking out that this dude had said this until after the game.
Reed Blankenship
Shout out, that guy, man.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, shout out. I guess he named his dog after me. I don't know why I didn't. I must have been too locked in to even realize what he said, but it's pretty crazy.
Reed Blankenship
Do you always do that pre game before you step on the field?
Cooper Dean
Yeah, take the cleats in, you know, get locked in. But have you. Have people told you that they, that they named stuff after you, like their dogs?
Reed Blankenship
I've heard. I've heard more. I've heard kids, like people say, like we've named our kid Cooper Reed before.
Cooper Dean
Cooper Reed?
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. There's no way I. I've seen it, bro. I don't know if there's any truth to that, but I don't know.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I've seen people naming their kids Cooper. They say it's after me, but I don't. Like. I find that. I find that really hard to believe.
Reed Blankenship
I mean, in the Philly area. I don't know. I definitely believe it.
Jamie (Philly Fantasy Expert)
100.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I guess. I guess. But that was. That was kind of crazy just to. Just to yell out. Right. Right as I walk out on the field. That's the first thing I. I hear. But that's.
Reed Blankenship
Well, at least it was positive.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's cool, I guess.
Reed Blankenship
Hey, nobody tell you to go off the field or anything, you know?
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
No, no, you suck.
Cooper Dean
If someone was talking. Talking shit to me, I definitely would have noticed.
Reed Blankenship
Would you turn around and say something?
Cooper Dean
I mean. Yeah, there's like, four people in the stands. I would have been able to pick them out and go have a conversation with them, see what they had to say. Yeah. Civil conversation, you know, let's get to some game balls. Mr. Blankenship.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. Can I give out one?
Cooper Dean
Yeah, give out one.
Reed Blankenship
I think. I think you deserve one, dude.
Cooper Dean
Me?
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
What do you think?
Reed Blankenship
I think you deserve one. I just feel like the way you've been playing, especially. And plus, you know, switching from nickel to corner in different packages, man, that's tough. That's tough. And I feel like you did a great job. I know you're not going to say it yourself, so I'm gonna say it. I'll be the guy to say that.
Cooper Dean
I appreciate it, brother.
Reed Blankenship
The game ball.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I appreciate that.
Reed Blankenship
Of course.
Cooper Dean
Couldn't do without you, though, man. Oh, man.
Reed Blankenship
Come on, you can.
Cooper Dean
You running the defense back there?
Reed Blankenship
No, I'm trying.
Cooper Dean
But I feel like. I feel like we got to give one to Jayla Hunt.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. That pick six was sick not to.
Cooper Dean
I feel like that was a big swing in the game, and if people remember.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, he'd had a chance last. What? Yeah, the Thursday game.
Cooper Dean
Thursday night game, he dropped it.
Reed Blankenship
And then Sirianni said that they need to join the catch circuit, and they did. And the first time they joined the catch circuit, that happen. So.
Cooper Dean
Yep.
Reed Blankenship
The little things in life, man.
Cooper Dean
With the assist from Jaylen Carter also getting that pressure on.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, my gosh. Quarterback.
Cooper Dean
It's great to have him back. Back out there, obviously.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. I think we should give one to. To Jay Herz and Smitty.
Cooper Dean
You know, Jay Herz, AJ And Smitty in that O line up front.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. I mean, there's times that Jay hurts.
Cooper Dean
Take one stepping in there. All the pressures that they have.
Reed Blankenship
There was times, man, that he had time back there just to read.
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
And just let stuff develop. I mean, that's what you love to.
Cooper Dean
See, being able to. To make plays when. Especially when we need it. You know, they were. They were able to to put points up on the board, which was. Was huge. And it was obviously a big day for. For Jalen and AJ And Smitty. Absolutely getting those guys the ball. Smitty made a lot of tough catches. Yeah, you know, that's. That's just what they. What they do. They're. That's why they're. They're the best in the league. Yeah. I guess that. That was more on him than it was me. Me covering him, but, I mean, you finished.
Reed Blankenship
You finished, bro. I mean, that's.
Cooper Dean
I don't know. Yeah, I mean, you're always taught to. When your backs turn, you can't find. Can't see the ball, just to play through the hands as a. As a defender, you know, and that's what. That's what I tried to do. You know, the play's not over until the ref blows the whistle. And, you know, I just tried to. Tried to keep fighting to get the ball out of his hands, and I think my. When I swung my right arm in there, hit the ball and knocked the ball out.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. That's a hell of a play, though, honestly.
Cooper Dean
I guess. He says it was a drop, but I don't know. Every. Everybody sees it different. He's. Shoot. He's a tough receiver to go up against. Good player, obviously, you know, but I'm just trying to. Trying to do what I was taught, and I was able to knock the ball. Knock the ball out.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. And then after you did a little. What they call it, a little aura farming, dude. What's that about, bro?
Cooper Dean
I don't. That wasn't. So after I made the play.
Reed Blankenship
Do you want to just keep. Wait, before you say it, do you want to keep it how it looks?
Cooper Dean
Oh, no, no. Okay.
Reed Blankenship
Okay.
Cooper Dean
So after the play, I obviously did the. Did the celebration and everything, and as I'm looking in the stands, I see one of my high school teachers and. And her husband, who I know.
Reed Blankenship
So you know they were going to be there.
Cooper Dean
No, I didn't.
Reed Blankenship
Wow.
Cooper Dean
I literally looked in the stands and. And saw them, so I. I just gave him a little. Little head nod.
Reed Blankenship
That's funny, dude. I didn't. The camera's right in your face. You just did one of those, like.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I didn't even know that was on. I was on camera, but it was. It's kind of sick. Kind of sick, bro. It seemed like everywhere I looked in the stands, there was someone I knew, which was. Which was kind of sweet.
Reed Blankenship
That is sick, though.
Cooper Dean
Only like four hours from home, so a lot of people were able to to come watch, which was probably not.
Reed Blankenship
As much as Dallas Goddard's fam.
Cooper Dean
Oh, yeah.
Reed Blankenship
Dallas had like, he had a crew. He like a school.
Cooper Dean
How many? Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
That's sick though. That's cool to see. Very cool to see.
Cooper Dean
Always fun to go back to the Midwest, you know.
Reed Blankenship
Sure.
Cooper Dean
There's one thing on everyone's mind.
Reed Blankenship
Football.
Cooper Dean
No money. And not just money.
Reed Blankenship

Reed Blankenship

Reed Blankenship
Then when you open your pack, you get the excitement of seeing what you pulled instantly. Each slab is added to your showroom and available for listing in auction, trading, selling, taking an instant cash offer, or simply showcasing.

Brandon Graham
Man, we coming back, baby.
Cooper Dean
Give it up, give it up.
Brandon Graham
Coming back one time. I'm excited, man. I am, I am. No expectations, just excited. Just to, you know, get after it. Of course, I believe in the team because that's a big part of it, too. And I know that they got everything that they need, you know, and just can't wait to just add some a little more value.
Cooper Dean
BG is back, baby.
Reed Blankenship
Back in action.
Cooper Dean
Mr. Brandon Graham has announced that he is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles for his 16th season.
Reed Blankenship
16 years is insane. And his locker is open so, yeah, all you got to do is just go right to it. Right back to his locker, right back to it.
Cooper Dean
He just got to get. Get all his stuff and put it back in there. Um, but see him today or did you see him? Yeah, I did see him.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, he's.
Cooper Dean
He's always a fun guy to see around. Around the building. I think everybody's excited about it, too.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
Having a veteran guy for our, you know, we got a young defense still, so having, you know, BG back and his.
Reed Blankenship
I have a guy that's been in there for 16 years.
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
And all the trash talk he does.
Cooper Dean
And energy that he brings, it's just.
Reed Blankenship
It's what you need. Regardless of how old or how young your defense is, you need somebody like that. He's.
Cooper Dean
He brings the energy. That's.
Reed Blankenship
He does.
Cooper Dean
That's something that everybody appreciates. I don't know if he's playing this week.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. I don't know.
Cooper Dean
Or if he's coming back after the buy, but I know, you know, he'll be. He'll be ready to go. Obviously, having. Having watched us for seven weeks now, is it. I know he's excited.
Reed Blankenship
I'm sure he wasn't one of those. I'm sure it wasn't one of those right off the couch. I'm fisting to start planning. And I'm sure he's been trying to get acclimated to. To things and continued to work out. So I. I don't think he's not in shape. Like. He's for sure in shape.
Cooper Dean
I think. I think from a leadership standpoint, you know, you being a captain and then, you know, obviously having him back, you know, along with you on our defense is. Is huge, you know, for us just to have another vocal guy and. And voice in. In our room, you know?
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. Because, I mean, I still have questions. You know, I'm. I'm new to this.
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
New to this Captain Rose. So I'm sure he'll help me out a lot or I know it'll help me out a lot. And having somebody to go to like that, you know, it's. It's going to be sick.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, no doubt. I think, obviously, you know, he's. I believe he's been training for. For a little bit now.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
He has to be, you know, so I'm excited. I know he's excited to get back out there and hit somebody. For sure. He's got to be and. And talk trash.
Reed Blankenship
That's the first thing he's gonna do.
Cooper Dean
Man, I can't wait for that.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
I can't wait to be out there on. On the field and just listen to him talking trash to. To every single buddy on.
Reed Blankenship
It doesn't matter who it is.
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
You don't even have to go against. Go against them at all. Like, he's going to talk trash if it's a receiver or anybody. Like, he don't care.
Cooper Dean
I'd be doing it in practice, too.
Reed Blankenship
That is true.
Cooper Dean
So that'll be. That'll be. That'll be fun. I'm. I'm sure he's. He's been training, getting in shape. There's. It might. It might take him a little bit to, you know, get into game shape. It's a little. I mean, it's a little different going from practice to, you know, playing however many snaps in. In a game, but you think?
Reed Blankenship
I've been doing box drills, bro.
Cooper Dean
I bet he's been doing box drill.
Reed Blankenship
He's got to be doing box drills, bro.
Cooper Dean
He's got to be doing box drill. But even that. That's. That's different than going.
Reed Blankenship
But it's a start. Yeah.
Cooper Dean
We got adept. We got a lot of depth. A lot of depth for. On our defensive. Defensive line. All right. And at the end position, really. Especially once we get Nolan back, too. So y. I don't know when they'll be ready, if it's this week or if it's after the bye week, but I know he wants to get out there as soon as possible.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, it's gonna be fun to see.
Cooper Dean
All right, here we go. Getting into Reed's favorite segment, the exciting fit. Exciting fit segment. Let's see. Let's see what we got from. From this week.
Reed Blankenship
I even see a lot of guys fits.
Cooper Dean
Oh, starting off. Look who it is, bro.
Reed Blankenship
I need a goyard, bro.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, you do. Got to get you one. Christmas coming up. Get yourself a Christmas gift. Maybe I'll get.
Reed Blankenship
No, I've heard that story before. I don't believe that.
Cooper Dean
What. What are you wearing here? Let's.
Reed Blankenship
I don't know. I had some Abrombie trousers on. An Abercrombie black shirt.
Cooper Dean
Shout out.
Reed Blankenship
Shoes. Yeah, out of the shoes. I don't know. I have no idea. What are you.
Cooper Dean
What are they? Like loafers.
Reed Blankenship
Like a black loafer. Like I said, I. Whatever is laid out on the bed from the stylist I wear. And so this puffer green, puffy jacket was part of it. Had a tag on it, too. I had a cut off at breakfast, bro. Thank God. Like you.
Cooper Dean
That's Bro, I think you gotta. I think you gotta lose the backpack, though.
Reed Blankenship
I do.
Cooper Dean
I think you just walk in with the Duffy. I like the Duffy bag.
Reed Blankenship
I think that's the transition I'm gonna do.
Cooper Dean
It's like a. It's like a leather duffel bag.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, it's a To cova. Leather duffel bag.
Cooper Dean
It's a nice duffel.
Reed Blankenship
Thanks.
Cooper Dean
I think you. I think if you. It'll look. It looks. It looks good, but I think if you lose the backpack, it'll look better. Yeah, even. Even better. Yeah, but I. I was wearing a little. What do you call it?
Reed Blankenship
Cardigan.
Cooper Dean
Cardigan.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. Is it a cardigan?
Cooper Dean
I think it is. I think that's what it's called. Little fuzzy little cardigan.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
With like a white tank top underneath and some. Some brown trouser pants with some throwback Nike. Nike shoes. They're a little different.
Reed Blankenship
You got that go yard packed full, though.
Cooper Dean
Oh, yeah. You know me. You know me. I ain't trying to bring two bags. I don't wanna. I don't wanna be wearing a backpack.
Sponsor/Advertiser
Right.
Reed Blankenship
You're right.
Cooper Dean
My fault.
Reed Blankenship
I threw out a stray. That's on me. That's on me. All right, all right.
Cooper Dean
I got home at the Go Yard, too. All Abercrombie, obviously. You know what it is with the Nike sneaks? Some. Some calm.
Reed Blankenship
Some slight.
Cooper Dean
Something calm.
Reed Blankenship
Look, I like it, dude.
Cooper Dean
I like it.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, zb. Oh, a little ZB apzv.
Cooper Dean
The Midwestern swag with the jeans and the hoodie with the hat on. Didn't want to show off his. His fresh bald face.
Reed Blankenship
Come on, bro. Why you go down that road?
Cooper Dean
What? I'm just saying there's.
Reed Blankenship
Zach hadn't done anything wrong. She just threw out a straight. Quit throwing strays, bro.
Cooper Dean
That's on me. That's on me. But he's got a. What is he wearing? Adidas shoes? Nice little fit. I mean, it's nothing crazy.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, it's just crazy.
Cooper Dean
I feel like it fits a vibe.
Reed Blankenship
I feel like that's like the retro type jean, too. Like a retro straight jean.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I like them jeans. Yeah. Something calm.
Reed Blankenship
Nothing too crazy, man. I like it. Zach.
Cooper Dean
Smitty. No, no suit this week from Smitty. Looks like. Looks like he went all black. I don't know.
Reed Blankenship
He's a little comfortable.
Cooper Dean
Got some J's on his cross compared.
Reed Blankenship
To my cross is different, man.
Cooper Dean
A little different. Yeah. A little different there. He's got the fitted hat on. I don't know. Looks like a baseball. Fitted hat with the Louis V luggage. I like the all black look.
Reed Blankenship
I do too.
Cooper Dean
Do you?
Reed Blankenship
Looks like. Looks like his friend behind him is all black too.
Cooper Dean
I like. I like how the. The hat matches the shoes.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, it is tough.
Cooper Dean
You see that?
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, that is tough. The details, man.
Cooper Dean
The details. It's a small. Another solid fit from. From Smitty. Seems like, seems like almost everybody was going with the comfy fits this week. Arthur Brown.
Reed Blankenship
Arthur all black.
Cooper Dean
I think that's his new. That's his new.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, that's it.
Cooper Dean
That is the Peace Collective thing.
Reed Blankenship
The Peace Collective.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I think is what it is. But yeah, rocking the olive.
Reed Blankenship
They got some cool stuff too.
Cooper Dean
I think he's got the. The gallery A6 on. Yeah, the A6 and a go yard. Go yard bag in the goyard sidebag. He's go yarded out.
Reed Blankenship
Go yarded out, bro.
Cooper Dean
Come on now. Come on now.
Reed Blankenship
And the cross too. Yeah, untucked.
Cooper Dean
Calm. Calm. Everybody's. Everybody's going comfy. No one did.
Reed Blankenship
I guess it's too early. I guess it's too early in the morning.
Cooper Dean
It was 12 o' clock in the morning. It was. What time did we leave? 8:30 in the morning.
Reed Blankenship
8:40.
Cooper Dean
8:40 bus left. Who was her up early?
Reed Blankenship

Taking care of my health so I can perform on the field is my top priority, and that includes my oral health. I want to introduce you to my other favorite team, the Dudat Dental Group. They make sure I have the most advanced dental care and of course, a great smile.
Cooper Dean
Whether it's general dentistry or something bigger. I I'm telling you, this is the team you want caring for you and your family. Locally owned and operated by Dr. D. A graduate of North Penn High School and Temple Dental School. They do it all. Robotic implant, surgery, emergencies, invisalign and so much more. I trust them and so can you.

When I was younger, I was in an accident that severely damaged the front tooth. Before my wedding, I wanted to look and feel my best, so I went to the center seat city location, Walnut Street Smiles and the team took great care of me thanks to the Do Dat Dental Group. My smile looked amazing for my wedding and it still does every day on and off the field. Visit my dentist@philadelphiaeaglesdentist.com and see what they can do for you. Smile like the birds.
Cooper Dean
Welcome back to Exciting Mics presented by citizens. Here we go. Week eight division opponent, the New York Giants. We just played them a couple weeks ago. It's a little different.
Reed Blankenship
Is it a couple weeks though, or like 10 days? Shoot, it probably is a couple weeks. You're right. Yeah.
Cooper Dean
I mean, it'll be two weeks on Thursday, right?
Reed Blankenship
That's on me.
Cooper Dean
But it will be 10. No, no, it'll be 17 days by Sunday. 17 days by Sunday. But yeah, it's a little different. I've never. I've never played an opponent. Last year was my first time playing the same opponent twice in a season. But two times in three weeks is a little. It's a little different.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, because last year we played them. We played them, played somebody else and played them again that last game. So we didn't end up playing, though.
Cooper Dean
Oh, yeah, we didn't play. Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, I forgot. I think I'd done this before. Yeah, I definitely have. Four years.
Cooper Dean
I don't know.
Reed Blankenship
I don't Know who, though?
Cooper Dean
I mean, obviously there's some new things sprinkled in obviously from that they've mixed in this week, but it's.
Reed Blankenship
Because it's different because you're. Last time we played when we prepared a Thursday night game, so obviously you're not going to get too. Too crazy, but now you have a full week to prepare for them and, you know, a game under their belt in between us to, to kind of see what they've changed or. Or what. But I mean, they're coming off a tough. A tough loss to the Broncos. That was.
Cooper Dean
That was.
Reed Blankenship
That was a crazy game, bro.
Cooper Dean
That was a crazy game. I think a couple Broncos passes and.
Reed Blankenship
Stuff here and there and.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I mean, the Giants played well, too. Yeah, they just. I mean, 33 points in the fourth quarter, that's tough. And the ending too, was. Was even crazier, you know, but they've been. They've been playing well.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, they're playing confident.
Cooper Dean
I'll say that Their quarterback and running back have given them a good spark on. On offense. Obviously, you know, we're going to. We're going to have to stop the run game and you know, obviously their quarterback got out a lot.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah.
Cooper Dean
You know, last. Last game. So we're going to try and keep him in the pocket, keep him from scrambling and he'll be able to make tackles in the open field as well.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. And we're wearing Kelly green, too.
Cooper Dean
Kelly green. That's. Those are my. That's my favorite uniform.
Reed Blankenship
So nice. It's a nice touch, dude. It's so clean. Just a little throwback, man. Do we. What, what. What are you going to say?
Cooper Dean
Do we only wear Kelly green against division opponents?
Reed Blankenship
No, because we. We wore Kelly Green in 2023 against the Bills when they came here.
Cooper Dean
But this year it's all division opponents, right?
Reed Blankenship
Yeah, because we wear them against the Giants and then the cow Cowboys, I think, right?
Cooper Dean
Yeah, we're wearing them on the road. On the road is the first time against the Cowboys. And then.
Reed Blankenship
That's gonna be sick. That's gonna be sick, too.
Cooper Dean
The Commanders, I think, as well.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. I mean, Kelly Green in general is just so dope.
Cooper Dean
Yeah. It's so sick. I wonder if.
Reed Blankenship
I don't know.
Cooper Dean
We're gonna have to see if BG's coming back for, for the home game this week.
Reed Blankenship
I know.
Cooper Dean
I already know. If he comes back and they do defensive starting lineups, that stadium's gonna go insane.
Reed Blankenship
Insane, dude. I don't think. I don't think we're up, though. I think the offense.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I think it is the offense. But Kelly Grain, my by far my favorite uniform that. That we have.
Reed Blankenship
Not even biased about it.
Cooper Dean
I think that's pretty sick. I think a lot of people would say the same as well. We're back with another fan Q and A. Today we have KC joining us on the pod.
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
Hi, everybody.
Cooper Dean
How we doing?
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
Good. How are you guys?
Cooper Dean
Great, Great. Where. Where are you from?
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
I'm from Philly, but I'm actually stationed out at Tampa right now.
Cooper Dean
Okay.
Reed Blankenship
Oh, you're stationed. So military.
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
Yep. Air Force.
Reed Blankenship
Nice. Well, we appreciate you.
Cooper Dean
Appreciate that.
Reed Blankenship
We appreciate that.
Cooper Dean
Absolutely. What, you got a question for us today?
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
I do. So what are your locker room pet peeves that you've experienced in college or in the pros?
Cooper Dean
Locker room pet peeves? Are we talking about. We talking about, like, game day or like our everyday.
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
No, like every day. You're with the bro.
Cooper Dean
All right. I'd say I'm next to Q in the locker room and he has all these boxes next to his locker that.
Reed Blankenship
Those are yours.
Cooper Dean
No, they just get into my space in my locker.
Reed Blankenship
I do agree. I agree with that, though. Having boxes next to your locker that's not yours.
Cooper Dean
Yeah.
Reed Blankenship
And just stays there.
Cooper Dean
And he also just steals my clothes out of my locker room whenever he needs clothes when he's got all these clothes hanging up in his locker.
Reed Blankenship
Well, he takes my speaker every day, too, so. Sorry, we just blasted you.
Cooper Dean
That's right, Mine.
Reed Blankenship
But yeah, I also think so how our locker room's set up is we have a bunch of chairs and, like, lockers, like mobile lockers down the middle. And I hate when the chairs are just all pushed out into the lane of traffic when I'm trying to go somewhere because I always hit one or trip over one of them. So. I mean, that's one of mine, if I'm nitpicking.
Cooper Dean
Other than that. Other than that, it's pretty good vibes in. In the locker room.
Reed Blankenship
I'd say that's the only thing if people are dope. So I ain't got a problem with the people.
Cooper Dean
Yeah. Yeah.
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
See, I definitely thought it was going to be something music related. Like, that's not mine.
Reed Blankenship
We're.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, we're always. We got a whole, like, surround system. So everybody's always playing some. Some type of music, which is. Which is cool. It keeps the vibes up.
Reed Blankenship
Yeah. I can vibe to anything. For real.
Cooper Dean
So. Yeah. We appreciate you. Appreciate you joining us.
Reed Blankenship
Yes.
Cooper Dean
Our next guest for the fan Q and A. We Have Brianna joining us. How we doing?
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
I'm good. How are you guys?
Cooper Dean
Great, thank you for. Thank you for joining us. You got a what's your hard hitting question for us today?
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
So I know a lot of people who are going to be you two for Halloween. So I was curious about what your guys costumes are going to be.
Reed Blankenship
I didn't even think about this, man.
Cooper Dean
Maybe, I don't know.
Reed Blankenship
I always like doing like a funny costume though.
Cooper Dean
Yeah. You know, can't do something too serious.
Reed Blankenship
No.
Cooper Dean
Even though, I don't know, I'd like to be the Joker.
Reed Blankenship
I could be Batman. You could be Robin.
Cooper Dean
No, you be Batman, I'll be Joker. How about that?
Reed Blankenship
That would be sick.
Cooper Dean
That would be sick. I don't know what I'm gonna be for Halloween.
Reed Blankenship
Or we could be step brothers.
Cooper Dean
We could be stepbrothers. Maybe next week we'll just pull up on the pod and in some and.
Reed Blankenship
Surprise everybody with some Halloween costumes.
Cooper Dean
What are you gonna be? What are you gonna be for Halloween though? Do you have an outfit?
Fan Caller/Brianna/KC
So I'm trying to top one from like two years ago. My friend and I were Frozone and Mr. Incredible and that went over really, really well. And I don't really know how to top it. So we're trying to figure it out.
Cooper Dean
I wore, I actually wore Mr. Incredible costume to high school back in the day.
Reed Blankenship
The fake muscles in there.
Cooper Dean
Yeah. When we had, I guess they let us dress up one year for, or maybe it was during homecoming week or something like that. It was like superhero day or something like that. So I wore Mr. Incredible.
Reed Blankenship
I wish I had any, an idea for you, but I'm sure there's plenty of them on TikTok.
Cooper Dean
Yeah, I'm sure you'll find something. But we, we appreciate you joining us today.
Reed Blankenship
Thank you.
Cooper Dean
