His autoclave system made the aerogel that successfully captured and returned to the Earth, those cometary dust particles. Which first confirmed that some of life's building blocks could be found in space. In the area of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), he is a board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU) (explorescu.org) and frequently gives talks at their conference on his current research.
