We're starting a new series, Fallout 3's Cultural References. We're investigating how Fallout references other media (movies, games, books, etc) and if the references we find online are actually in the games. This week, 1984. George Orwell's extremely accurate warning about how totalitarian governments abuse and influence their people to maintain control. That sounds very "Fallout" but are the references real?
