I remember that because I remember at the time, it was like, right around Christmas. And I was like, I think I'm gonna go for it. My wife was like. She was very supportive, gung ho, all about it. Chapin loves the idea of long hair. And then it kept going and going and going. I got wings. Like, I'm telling you. I had wings.

I had wings, and I was loving it. And I went in to get, like, a little bit of a trim, and then it was like, you know, you got a lot of debt here there. You got to cut some of that off. I'm learning all about the hair stuff throughout the process, but to Stefania's point, if I take a kicker in the third round today, it's because I've lost my.

That's why. Again, winged Field would take something smart. Would probably draft, like, you know, I don't know, maybe like a top 12 wide receiver in the third round, for what it's worth. Might take a kicker in the third round.

But for what it's worth right now, let's get started with our very first mock draft of 2025 Ayo. All right, the three of us are here. I have the first overall pick. Field has the fifth overall pick. Stefania is picking from 10. So we are at three different spots. We are at our producers doing all of the other spots in our draft. So we will note out where they are going. For what it's worth, though, I just want to say this. I pick 1.01.

[Stefania Bell]

Did you. Did you assign yourself the pick?

[Daniel Dopp]

I didn't. I didn't. But I'm happy because of the criteria went with today.

[Field Yates]

Like, it's not beauty.

No. We'll have certainly have some thoughtful conversations about 101 throughout the year. But, Stefan, you would be going a different direction if this was you.

I would. If I was not picking 1 01, I probably would have taken a running back. But if I'm picking in that very first pick. I do not think you can go wrong with Jamar Chase in any way, shape or form. He is the guy that I think is the best player in the NFL.

[Field Yates]

Yeah.

[Daniel Dopp]

So that's where I went. Bijan comes off the board at number two, then Justin Jefferson, and Saquon comes off the board at 4.

[Stefania Bell]

Just, you know, I value the running backs. This is where I. This is where I heard. That is why this debate. And in a lot of our mock drafts, we did see Bijan go first.

[Daniel Dopp]

Yep.

[Field Yates]

And. And we'll have, again, a million conversations throughout, not just the preseason, but obviously the regular season as well. But we've seen a lot of five players at the top in a lot of the mock drafts. We did. We did that mock draft project again this year where what, 10 of us, 12 of us all picked from each spot in the order at least twice. So you got like. It's like muscle memory. You now know what to expect when you have pick seven. I'm biding my time here just to make some points here, but I picked number five in this mock draft we're doing, and it turns out the fifth of those five players that we are often talking about at the top is still available. There's some other names. I'm taking Jameer Gibbs fifth overall here. Gibbs, who absolutely exploded down the stretch last year when David Montgomery got hurt. I'll say this, and of course, this is not how things stand, but. And every player, there is a possibility of someone getting banged up if David Montgomery were not in the Detroit Lions. I think Jameer Gibbs is going one on one.

At worst, he's going like 103. Right. Because we saw what it looked like last year when Jameer Games got a ton of work. He was the scariest player in the fantasy playoffs to either face or he. I guess he was scared for your opponent when you had him like that game against the 49ers. Sorry, Stefania, but it was good for the draft pick. It was good for the draft pick. Week 17, Monday Night Football, when Dan Campbell was like, we're playing our guys. I don't recall too many experiences like watching Jameer Gibbs playing at a literal different speed than everybody else. So I end up taking Jameer Gibbs number five. I actually thought that the player who. Well, what. Number eight, Ashton Genti, might go six. But just to keep up, keep people up to speed here. Jameer Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey, CD Lamb.

[Stefania Bell]

I'm watching this carefully because these running backs at the top, I wanted one of them I wanted Bijan, who I didn't think I would get. I wanted. I knew Jameer Gibbs was probably going to go to you. And then Christian McCaffrey, Ashton Genty.

[Daniel Dopp]

Are those like the four first round running backs?

[Stefania Bell]

Those that to me, that's at least for me, that's my tier and then it changes. So now here I am on the clock at pick 10, thinking I want to take a run back first. And because I have the luxury of having the tier, I don't have to. I can, I can do it either way that I want.

[Field Yates]

Question for you though.

[Stefania Bell]

Yes.

[Field Yates]

Do you do it for the locker room vibes? Like when you have the 10, 11.

[Daniel Dopp]

Turn, you let them.

[Field Yates]

You think about like which player is more prideful in being a first round pick versus which one would be motivated, like Puka Nukua, who's the top ranked player available in the projections right now, was a fifth round pick. It served him really well to be a bit overlooked. So if you're thinking about Puka here, do you take him with that second round pick because you know he responds well when disrespected.

[Daniel Dopp]

Plus you love running backs and you want to let your locker room know that.

[Stefania Bell]

I do love running backs, but again, I have this tier thing. So now that none of my first tier wins are available, I think I'm going to the wide receivers in my first tier. However, I'm also. You talk about the locker room vibes, I'm talking about the Mike Clay vibes because you know I'm going to get a grade at the end of this year.

[Daniel Dopp]

Oh, you will.

[Field Yates]

That guy's great.

[Stefania Bell]

You know the entire mock draft series, by the way, I wanted to get one A. Just one?

[Field Yates]

Yeah.

None. Mike Clay got one at one point. You might have gotten. Might have gotten one.

[Field Yates]

I think grades are a combination of Mike Clay and AI, which some people are like. I thought Mike Clay was AI. That's true. However, it is very difficult to get an A from Mike. I think it's basically like, do you somehow in a 13, a 14 land Jamar chase and Jameer Gibbs and Saquon Barkley, you don't get Justin Jefferson, but if you get the other three guys, you get an A. Yeah. Otherwise it isn't one.

[Daniel Dopp]

Otherwise you don't get one. All right, so Stefania, you ended up going with Pukinakua and then did you go back up? Did you go wide receiver or do you think you're close enough to grab.

[Stefania Bell]

Running back and with Devon Achan. Okay, okay, now here's the Thing, I really didn't have this situation in the mock drafts. It never felt like this. So this is a first for me. And I love Derrick Henry. I mean, Devon H. And Derrick Henry, for me, totally different players and I'm sort of of a different mindset. Derrick Henry, to me, just the durability and his role in the Ravens, like, I think he's a little bit undervalued. Got it. Devon Achan. I worry a little bit about the durability because if the workload is what we hope and expect it to be, just not totally sure he stands up to it. But remember, in these early rounds, anybody can get hurt.

[Daniel Dopp]

So last year was a weird year for the Dolphins from a fantasy perspective, but Devon Achan showed us some unbelievable pass catching ability. It was like CMC Light out there.

[Field Yates]

Totally. Yeah. We'll talk about this more because we are actually getting some tears to find you. We're doing our tiers shows throughout the week. So starting tomorrow, quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end. And I think there is at least a conversation about if Devon Achan can sneak into that back end of tier 1 tiers. Very subjective. So I could have 30 tiers and Daniel could have 4 and Stefan could have 15. We'll dive into that more throughout the week. Hn the passing volume was insane. Insane last year.

Yes, it was. All right, so HN comes off the board two 1. Then Derrick Henry, A.J. brown and Bucky Irving. Another running back field.

[Field Yates]

So where are you looking at them? Yeah, I'm a pick away. I would have loved Bucky Irving. Here. Here's what I'm going to say. Compared to prior years, I think the first two rounds of fantasy this year loaded. There are some targets in here and I'm going to hold my. My thoughts here for just one moment until player six. Sorry, that was unnecessary to have my computer sound on classic espn. Yeah. So anyways, there's some incredible targets right now. Nico Collins versus Brian Thomas Jr. Is just like an absolutely arm. That's like an arm wrestle to the bitter end match right there. Jonathan Taylor, who exploded in the fantasy playoffs. There are some reservations there. Josh Jacobs, how great was that guy last year for the Packers? So I don't think there's a wrong answer for me, but a player that I probably drafted close to one of my highest shares of in the mock.

Draft project, I think.

[Field Yates]

Okay, It's Brian Thomas Jr. In there.

Yeah, man. So this guy was just exceptional last year. Came down the stretch and was the only part of the Jacksonville offense That was actually fun to watch as we know the team did draft Travis Hunter number two overall. We're going to have. Travis Hunter is going to be the hardest player I think that I've ever ranked in my time at ESPN because I don't think anybody, including Liam Cohen, James Gladstone, who are the Jaguars new head coach and gm. Jaguars offensive coordinator, Jaguars wide receiver coach, Jaguar secondary coach. Anybody knows how much Travis Hunter is going to play. Anyways, long winded way of saying that while Brian Thomas Jr. Could be threatened, he will be threatened some by this incredible prodigious talent in Travis hunter. Brian Thomas Jr. Is a beast. He is a beast and is going to be one of the best downfield threats in the entire league again this year.

Travis Hunter could play 50% of the offensive snaps but he could be targeted 80% of the time he's on the field for those 50% of the offensive snaps and be just as valuable.

And 60% of the time that would work every time.

I need like a deep dive. I want to read like an athletic like you know, 4,000 word piece on what happened with the Texans offense last year. Yeah, we're doing quarterback tears tomorrow. CJ Stroud had one one game with 20 or more fantasy points until Jaden Daniels. CJ Stroud had one of the, you know, at least on the short list for best rookie seasons ever by a quarterback. And you're like that's going to be a monster in fantasy the following year. Not quite. It's really close between Nico Collins and Brian Thomas Jr. I don't think that There's a wrong answer there. I leaned on Brian Thomas Jr. Because I felt like it.

I'm just curious because we have a Joe Mixon injury now that could lead into the start of the season. We have an offensive line that I still think is shaky, and so I'm just feeling a little ambivalent about Texans offense. And I wondered if that was a decision.

Nico should still feast. But, yeah, these are. Again, these are the.

These are the kind of questions.

What I should do is like, we should just take this clip, cut it, and then run it again before tomorrow's show. Because the truth is that so much of what we're doing is we're putting guys into tears. Right. Like, the difference between Nico Collins And Brian Thomas Jr. Is like, you know, we're talking about a Razor's Edge worth of difference. So I don't bog myself down personally too much with like, hey, you know, I got to go. This guy or that guy. I think of them in a very, very similar sort of value range, and they're in the same tier for me. So I went with Brian Thomas Jr. Could have easily gone. Nico Daniel, you have now have two picks.

Yeah. So field after you going with Brian Thomas, Nico comes off the board with the very next pick, for what it's worth. Then Drake London, then Trey McBride, and everything worked out exactly as I wanted. After taking a wide receiver in the first round, I got Jonathan Taylor falling to me here at the end of the second round to pair with Jamar Chase. And after this. After this, I'm not sure that you do. Stefania. I'm going a ways down this list. Normally I would take my guy. I got another wide receiver that I really like here, but I got another guy that I really love that I believe. And we're going to talk about this when we get into the. Into the conversation. It feels like an Austin Eckler light to me.

We'll talk about it more tomorrow. So certainly quarterback is appealing here. That being said, I mentioned like I kind of liked Josh Jacobs in my last pick. So I'm going to take it with my next pick here. Josh Jacobs, who was exceptional for Green Bay last year. They did not heavily address the running back room themselves this offseason. He just was such a good bet to score touchdowns last year, perhaps at the cost of Jordan Love and some of his fantasy value. But the Packers, I still don't believe, even with the addition of Matthew golden, have a guy who's going to threaten Josh Jacobs in the red zone or the goal line. So I have two running backs and a wide receiver with Jameer Gibbs, Josh Jacobs and Brian Thomas jr. And we.

It's like maybe he's at 30% and then, you know, Jaden Daniels is at 28 and Jalen Hurts is at 25 and Josh Allen's also at 25. Right. Like you have to think of it. If you go look at my.

Listen, I'm not a math major, people. Okay. I was a. I'm going with this. My point is that like it's not like, like they're so closely.

Joe Burrow to me feels like that. Well again, we'll talk about this tomorrow. But it feels like he's the one that, like he either is the, he's in that tier or he's just below. He sort of teeters. Boy, it's interesting, you know who's gotten a lot of love but I see has moved up through mock drafts and now just got drafted with the eighth pick, young Vlad McConkey. I mean he was great last year and obviously people think he will continue to move up being the number one target in that, in that offense and.

Coming after field just to make sure. I'll set the table really quickly. Stefania, while you think about this, Jaden Daniels, then Brock Bowers comes off with the seventh pick of the third round. You know, things are changing when I, when I hit this point I'm like, okay, I have to set the table for my team with this. I, I'm actually going pretty chalk compared to our rankings here. And I'm going to take T. Higgins because why not take someone in a high powered, high octane offense who's going to score? I've done that points and we just said that there's only so many quarterbacks who are in this top tier and I feel like I either wait on the quarterbacks, like I'm going to wait much longer or I'm going to take a guy who could potentially be a league winner and I'm going to do that. I'm going to take Lamar Jackson, I spec right there.

Yeah, I mean you're getting Lamar again, I mean also similar, but you're getting him a half round later than Jaden Daniels. Lamar could easily be quarterback one overall.

And in other drafts I've seen him go in the second round technically because I'm on the turn. You know, I put him in the Fourth round. But round four for Lamar Jackson is a good value.

That feels great. And because all four of these, five of these, I. I believe in Joe Burrow as well have finishing as QB1 easily in their game. Right. They can. They can absolutely do that. Oh, I was just going to say it was interesting. Terry McLaurin went pretty close to his draft position despite some of the concerns. Well, and who is to know, right? Because he did show up after a few days of the draft dispute, but he is on the PUP list because of an ankle injury. That ankle injury was. It's not like this is. Oh, I developed an ankle injury recently. That is something that he had prior that he will work through.

So I took James cook with my fourth round pick there. James Cook, like Tara McLaurin, currently holding in. Actually, James. James is practicing too, a little bit. He, of course, Bill's running back going into the final year of his rookie contract wants a new deal. He's one on one for the entirety of the offseason. The Bills have basically extended everybody else who needed a new deal, whether it was Josh Allen or Khalil Shakir or some of their defensive cornerstones, Christian Benford and Terrell Bernard, they have not yet got a deal done for James Cook. That being said, the fact that he's practicing and players don't care about my advice and my advice, I think hold ins are far more effective than holdouts. First of all, you're not costing yourself 50 grand a day not being there, which is. Is insane to me.

But second of all, Terry McLaurin lost 200 grand and then, and then he showed up four days later. You either gotta do it or don't do it.

And by the way, the next running back to go off the board and I don't know who's controlling player four is Breece hall, who like the difference between James Cook paid versus what Breece hall feels like right now, not in terms of talent, but in terms of certainty about role. It's way different. I mean, James Cook had what, 15 rushing touchdowns last season. I have no idea what Breece Hall's outlook is. He is on the list and we'll do the show at some point of hardest players to rank this season Breece hall might be the jets runaway running back. He also might be part of a three man committee because they have been I would say the opposite of committal towards him as their guy new regime. They've got some other backs in the backfield that are running Justin Fields running quarterbacks. So yeah, Daniel on the clock now as we had a little bit of a running back run five straight. Marion Hampton, James Cook, Breeze Hall, Kenneth Walker III who I like a lot this year and two behavard Daniel onto you.

Like he has been so good but I don't know what he's going to be like in this new jets offense. I still think he's going to be the de facto wide receiver one obviously but I'm curious what that's going to look like and when I pair that next to if Marv takes the step in his second year that we kind of expected to see more in his first year. Like if we see more of that game, do I think that there's just a higher potential ceiling with Marvin Harrison in a offense that would maybe throw the ball to him a little bit more and with a quarterback that is just I think a better thrower than.

Justin Fields, I would agree on that. I am getting way ahead of myself on this and I hope like what I'm saying, I'm saying I'm using this take right now because I want like I'm trying to make this a thing that never happens. Kyle Pitts went fourth overall, promising rookie season. It Kind of hasn't been the same since. And of course it's July and soon to be August. So now there's Kyle Pitts hype going field.

He's running with the wide receivers. He's not even running with tight ends now. Right. New lease on life.

It's way too soon to be said to yourself. But like, please, Please, Marvin Harrison Jr. Don't be the next Kyle Pitts. I keep asking for it to happen. He so can't miss that. All of a sudden you miss on him, right?

Way too soon for that to happen. I've got way too much investment in Marvin Harrison Jr. For that to happen. I just, I'm saying that so that I can put out like the fantasy gods can hear it and not let it happen.

And this will be the end of the week. The last guy in like this top ish tier at a position and that's George Kittle. If I want to run with a guy as a top tier tight end, I feel like this is like the end of those guys for me. There's definitely a fall between him and Sam Lapora in that next group. So I think I am definitely going to take George Kittle for locker room vibes. I'm going to grab him in the fourth to let the tight ends know they're valuable to the squad. And then Marvin Harrison Jr. Garrett Wilson. I'm going to go Garrett Wilson.

And then there's still the return to performance once he comes back, right?

Exactly. And when you are coming off acl, that's hard enough. When you're coming off acl, mcl, Meniscus and other stuff, it's a lot harder. And then you've got Joann Jennings, who is there. We all know what's been going on with that. Even Jacob Cowing, who is a wide receiver who plays a lot of special teams. But you use him for practice. Hamstring issue for him. Like there's I love me some Ricky.

Also just coming off a hamstring injury that he had during OTAs. So I'm just saying George Kittle, if you're and who do you trust for your Brock you trust George. George Kittle is a value pick at tight end because I think his value is going to be very close to Bowers and Trey McBride, but you can get him in the fourth or fifth round. Exhibit A right here.

If you look at that wide receiver depth chart beyond DK Metcalf, no one really is scaring you, right? I mean it's pretty thin behind DK. It's a major, major investment. They made a second round pick plus a five year what, $150 million contract to DK. The kind of investment that ostensibly you make because you plan to throw the crap out of the ball to that guy. Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf if you want some vibes, Daniel, they are roommates because the Steelers go old school and they have training camp in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

But there's a chance we have a suspension for Rasheed Rice. We have. I have no idea if it's going to happen before the season, sometime during the season, perhaps even after the season. But the NFL, what they do is they allow the legal process to run its course before they make their own decision. The legal process has run its course with Rasheed Rice, so you can Google what took place there as far as the punishment he has to face, which includes some probation. But we expect now the NFL to make its ruling if he's out for six games to begin the year. I mean, you can't draft them in the back end of the fifth round here. No, but it would dramatically increase.

[Stefania Bell]

How do you approach it?

[Field Yates]

I approach it like a suspension is likely.

How many games are you thinking when.

You think about the start of the season?

Yes. I think it's. I think that, like, it behooves all parties to make a decision here. Yep. Most importantly, the NFL should, like, there's. There's some clarity here. Like, they should treat these matters seriously and make a decision. I understand it takes them time, but still, it's a very objectively terrible situation. There's a lot of coverage of it, and he's shown contrition. He's not like, hey, I didn't do anything. Rasheed Rice did something wrong. He knows it. I suspect a suspension could come soon if he's unavailable. And not to make football conversation out of a legal situation, but obviously if he's unavailable, Xavier Worthy is going to be way busier for the entirety of the season. But until we have that clarity, VK felt like a slightly cleaner fit on.

The roster after DK. James Connor, Alvin Kamara, DeAndre Swift, a little running back run comes off the.

[Field Yates]

Board, makes you think of a tier right there.

Then Cortland Sutton, last wide receiver Stefania back on the clock. As a reminder, with Stefania's team, she's got Lamar Jackson, Devon Achan, Puka Nakua and T. Higgins looking for that second running back, a tight end and maybe a flex option here.

Yeah, so here is where this is interesting conversation because I'm really thinking about Rasheed Rice here. So I'm confident in him despite the injury. He had an LCL injury. You can see a little bit about what we talked about when we did the One on One podcast. If you go back and look at that one, I think it's still available on YouTube. Talked about why an isolated LCL injury doesn't give me as much concern as something like an acl. And if you've seen video of how he's moving, he looks really good. So I am not really concerned about Rasheed Rice from the injury standpoint. I am concerned about not having him for the first four to six weeks. Weeks, which then makes a pick at this point a heavy investment. Here's the problem. I'm at the turn. If I don't take him now, I or, or somebody, you know, who's. Who's comparable at that level. So if you look at the running backs available, it's like him and Joe Mixon.

[Field Yates]

This is your now or never opportunity. Right.

[Stefania Bell]

So, and Joe Mixon, I am not really comfortable drafting him right now because this ankle foot injury, which by the way, depending on the reporting that you see, a little bit of some is ankle, some its foot. Remember the ankle injuries that were problematic for him last season? And now we're starting with this being a problem and they're saying he should be available by week one, but they don't know when he'll practice. Well, where have we heard that before?

[Daniel Dopp]

Yeah, I don't know.

[Stefania Bell]

Back to last year. And I don't love that because I'm not comfortable with knowing without knowing more about what the injury really is.

[Daniel Dopp]

I don't want to be Mike Clay here. But Joe Mixon, I think is 29, right. So he's like starting to get to that point.

[Field Yates]

Yeah, I mean they wore him out last year, right? I mean he had more 30 plus carry games last season than any year in his career.

[Stefania Bell]

He was having career year and then a little bit derailed by the foot. So with all that in mind, I am, I'm. I'm makes me nervous but I am going to ultimately go with Rishi Rice because I don't want to wait until we get down into. He's not going to be talking about tears, right. Because I will have to figure out another way to supplement my running back rotation in the first few weeks and I will do that. I'll figure that out later now until 70. So you're so now my, my question is do I see Sam laporta on the board? Do I want a tight end up at this level or do I want to continue to build out my other pass catchers not at that position. Maybe wait on tight end.

[Daniel Dopp]

I took your tight end if you want to take my tight end. You know what I mean? I got Kittle, you can take Laporta.

[Field Yates]

I know I honestly Daniel, what are you trying to disrupt me now? You know what who I'm going to take. I'm going to take Calvin Ridley. So I'm going to take Calvin Ridley there. I did not want to go. Also with Xavier Worthy. I actually have mixed feelings on what the Chiefs receiver room is going to end up, how that's going to end up playing out. I'm not as big of a fan of DJ Moore as where he is ranked. I actually think I like Roma Dunze better in that offense and I would rather wait and get him a little bit later.

[Daniel Dopp]

Like it early vibes out of Chicago's practices have been all over the place. It feels like.

[Field Yates]

Yeah, you know I'm. I'm trying to pay less attention to training camp updates this year. There's been a lot of discourse on this recently where it's like you know, one day a guy like has like one drop and it's like oh my God. Or like Aaron Rodgers like didn't target DK Metcalf and 7 on 7 and it's right he must hate him the next day he has like nine straight completions of DK and it's like he loves them. So I think water will find its level. Like my, my, my general feeling on the Bears offense is that it will be much improved with an incredible new head coach slash offensive coordinator. Caleb Williams is super talented. It just may take some time compared like it may not be week One, but it'll get rolling and we've got choice.

[Stefania Bell]

There are still a lot of mouths and they have a new tight end added into as another potential pass catcher. But I, I still, I, I think I like the rising star of Roma Dunes and I think that he and Caleb have a good thing going. So that was.

[Field Yates]

Well, too bad he just went.

[Stefania Bell]

I'm going to stop talking about who I like in case anyone's listening. But what I will say is I just decided I wanted to wait on the tight end instead of putting that money into San La Porta.

[Field Yates]

So we are going to try to do three bench picks. We are bypass kickers and defenses. Sorry, I just took Xavier Worthy. We were just talking about that Chiefs wide receiver room because even, even if Rasheed Rice is not suspended to begin the season, it does feel like the Chiefs offense this year will be built around Xavier Worthy and Rasheed Rice. Yep. Worthy was so interesting down the stretch last year because he played great and he had big numbers. Obviously they got whooped in the super bowl, but the numbers were huge for Worthy. A lot of it in garbage time, but he was utilized. Sort of like how Rasheed Rice was last year before he got hurt. It was like dump the football off, let him do the big work for you. As we know, Xavier Worthy is famously the fastest player in the history of the combine. So I think the Chiefs would like a whole lot more explosive plays this year, which would bode well for Xavier Worthy, but they're still going to dump the football off to each of these guys because they are legit run after catch players. Offense is a big, big storyline going into this season. Who did you just pump your fist for?

[Daniel Dopp]

I was so. I'm mad is what it is. All right, so after Stefania turn took Calvin Ridley, Sam Laporta, George Pickens, Roman Dun, DJ Moore, you took Xavier Worthy. Then Zay Flowers. It was a great pick. Then Zay Flowers and Jaylen Waddle. I wanted Jaylen Waddle to fall to me so badly.

[Field Yates]

I thought about Waddle myself too. Yeah, it's the. There's. I mean there's probably 32 of these but the Dolphins really fascinating offense as well. Like the Chiefs teams that have super explosive players but didn't have explosive plays last year. The Dolphins are talking about being tougher and establishing more of an identity to line a scrimmage and running the football whole lot more. To me the trickle down impact of that and not to get too far into the weeds is that if you run the football really well, it makes Defenses pay more attention. They can't play as much. Too high safety. Everybody loves talking about too high safety. Right. When you have two high safeties, you're protecting against super explosive plays. So if they end up running the football well and teams have to drag an extra safety down, it might mean more explosive play. So it may take. It's like baking in the oven. May take a little time to eventually get those Jalen Waddle and Tyreek Hill explosive plays back. But if they can run the football better, it gives them a chance. Yeah.

[Stefania Bell]

All right, well, you're on the clock.

[Daniel Dopp]

Yeah. Travis Hunter just came off the board. I got to be honest, I wasn't. I'm probably going to pass on Travis Hunter most everywhere in drafts. I just have. I feel like he's that guy. I don't know how to like fully evaluate and so when, unless it'll get to a point where it's like, wow, he's clearly the best player on the board. But unless that happens, I feel like there's other guys that I just know more about. I feel more, more, you know, confident in what I know about how these players are going to be on the field than I do.

[Field Yates]

He's a high variance player, right? Very much so. The best case scenario for Travis Hunter is they say, you know what, we're holding it down on defense. We'll play on third and got to have it red zone situations. But you're mostly a wide receiver. 75%, 80%. Yeah. If he's playing 80 to 85% of the offensive snaps, there's a world in which he's top 15 wide receiver, but there's also a world in which they need him more on defense and offense. And he's finishes with 60 catches this year, which by the way, if you have 60 catches while also having like six interceptions, that's nuclear. Insane. Ridiculous. Almost unprecedented stuff.

[Daniel Dopp]

The franchise.

[Field Yates]

Brian Thomas, if he, if he plays 85% of the snaps. Yeah, it probably means Brian Thomas should be more like wide receiver 15 as opposed to wide receiver. Like eight or nine. Nine, probably.

[Stefania Bell]

But it, it's, it's interesting because you have to invest a lot to get Maria Thomas right now.

[Daniel Dopp]

That new Liam Conlet offense is going to be interesting to see. All right, so I am on the board.

Yeah. Oh, we definitely can. For what it's worth, I got Jonathan Taylor, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, Garrett Wilson and George Kittle. Wow, that's a good looking team. All right, I'm probably.

No, no, go ahead. I'm probably compliment yourself.

Gonna go with a guy that I think is a really good wide receiver here. I wish there was a little bit more passing volume in this offense, but devonte Smith I was. I thought about. But the difference is if I'm going to take another guy on that team, I don't want to double up on Lions potentially. So I go with devonte Smith there back on the clock. That gives me my third wide receiver. So Jamar Chase, Garrett Wilson, devonte Smith, my two running backs, Chase Brown, Jonathan Taylor and I'm going to take David Montgomery as my third run.

[Field Yates]

Joe Mixon's still hanging on by.

[Daniel Dopp]

I am not Joe Mixon scared.

[Field Yates]

At some point he's got to go though, right? I mean you're talking about a player who if he's healthy for week one, which hasn't been been ruled out.

The rest of the backfield stinks.

I hate the thought though. I hate the thought of a team saying we think he'll be ready for week one.

[Field Yates]

Oh, so then where did that come from?

No, there's reporting that, that they haven't said they had.

Okay. So like we think. Okay, so that's including no setbacks. That's like best case scenario for a guy.

That is their goal. You know, here's what happens, right. With these veterans, especially if they come in with injury or something that's lingering, carrying over the look, we don't need you out there all the time practice in camp. We would rather save you towards week one. The problem is it's very hard to read on the outside. Are they really in a situation where they wouldn't be ready until Week one or are they really like they could play now and they're saying, you know what, we're just going to hold you up. And that's what's hard to judge from the outside. The team doesn't tell you.

[Daniel Dopp]

Well, I decided to go with David Montgomery. For what it's worth, I wanted to grab a third running back. I think that was valuable to me. Then Joe Mixon, then TJ Hawkinson and then Patrick Mahomes.

[Field Yates]

Yeah, that actually worked out well for me. I'm taking Baker Mayfield here, who I think might be gone by the time I pick next round. If Patrick Mahomes was still on the clock, I was taking Baker Mayfield.

[Daniel Dopp]

Really?

[Field Yates]

Yeah. I just think Patrick Mahomes will probably be on the short list for most discussed players in fantasy this preseason. Not just because he's Patrick bleeping Mahomes, but like If I told you that over the past two seasons, Patrick Mahomes has exactly four games in each of those seasons with 20 or more fantasy points, you'd be like, oh, that's not very good, right?

[Daniel Dopp]

Sounds like Justin Fields.

[Field Yates]

It's not very good. Justin Fields has six and then two last year, and he started six games. Third. Baker Mayfield had ten 20 point fantasy games just last year.

[Daniel Dopp]

10 of them.

[Field Yates]

Baker absolutely cooked last year. He baked. Baker baked. But in this offense, he doesn't run. Mahomes runs a little bit, not as much as the elite guys, but he runs enough that that's a factor for his game. It's harder to like sustain 4,000 plus passing yards and 30 plus passing touchdowns. But damn it, that offense, on paper in Tampa, looks legit. Mahomes the idea, the optimism is of course baked in the fact that he's still Patrick Mahomes. And the pass catchers, when they're all available, do look much better this year compared to last year. Hollywood Brown also back in the mix, healthy right now for Kansas City. But I do have Baker Mayfield as quarterback, six in my rankings.

[Stefania Bell]

Kristen Wurf's injury give you pauses.

[Field Yates]

You know, it's one of those where it's like, he's an amazing player, but not enough offensive tackle. Like, he gets the ball so fast as Baker Mayfield that I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm confident in Baker Mayfield keeping.

[Stefania Bell]

He's also pretty good at executing when harassed under pressure.

[Field Yates]

Remember that Nick Bosa play last year? You were thinking it, wasn't it? 49ers fans are like, dude, can you just let us get one week of all right?

[Daniel Dopp]

Coming out of Baker Mayfield, we had Jameson Williams and then like a barrage of rookie running backs. Trayveon Henderson, then R.J. harvey, then Caleb Johnson. R.J. harvey was going so much earlier in this off season before the Denver Broncos signed J.K. dobbins. And that definitely tanked his draft stock just a little bit.

[Field Yates]

I mean, how could it not, right? Dobbins was excellent last year when healthy for the Chargers. That's when healthy are always the two most important words for J.K. dobbins. I was doing the back together weekend over the weekend. Yes, you were our crew, obviously. The incomparable Laura Rutledge hosting it with Shefty, Dan Orlovsky, Tim Hasselbeck and Louis Riddick. And Shefty said that really the Broncos were not trying or expecting to sign J.K. dobbins. It just got to some date on the calendar, July 1 or something, and they're like, so this guy who's really good is still available, and he's available for a moderate cost, which to me can be taken two ways. One, the objective way is he's there and he's really good. And RJ Harvey's rule did change, but it's also a sign of how they felt about RG Harvey that they really weren't planning on adding somebody else. It just was opportunity knocked. Harvey will discuss plenty. I actually thought there was a chance that Caleb Johnson would go the highest out of those three running backs, because out of Henderson, Harvey, and Caleb Johnson, there's a reasonable case to believe that Johnson's the best bet to take his team's first carry this year.

[Daniel Dopp]

Caleb Johnson was the other guy I was going to consider taking rather than David Montgomery. It was the one that I was thinking about. For what it's worth, while you were doing that NFL weekend that you were talking about, Mike Stefania and I went putt putt golfing this week. And we really wanted you to be there, but obviously you're doing television. Yeah. And while we were there, a gentleman came up to us. He was putt putt golfing. And he said, hey, can I bother you for one second? Are you Daniel Dopp? And I said, I am. I said, what's up, man? How you doing? And he was very excited. And he turned, he looked at Mike and he was like, and you're Field Yates? And Mike said, yep, yep. And I was like, no, this is Mike Clay. Mike Clay.

[Stefania Bell]

To which Mike and I immediately responded, why did you do.

Why did we not just let it go? Why did I say no? We should have said this was field. I should have let it roll. It's my fault. Party foul.

Yep. Annette se. This is what draft with your friends. They know where you're gonna go. So I'm gonna take Aaron Jones because, listen, he's still the starting running back in that offense. And by the way, Aaron Jones was. Was having a very productive year last year, so he really. He really likes it there. And if I have somebody else I have to put into the starting blocks, then I've got Aaron Jones. The question is, what do I do? Who's my next wide receiver? So Jerry Judy is, like, separated from in our rankings. He's at 59 in the overall ranks. And then Ted McMillan comes next at 71. People are very nervous about Jerry Judy because they're nervous about the quarterback situation. Where do you guys stand on that?

[Field Yates]

I believe, and this is my July 28th stance is I think the Browns will lean towards. I think it's Joe Flacco or Dylan Gabriel who starts week one. I just.

[Daniel Dopp]

The idea that, like what you've got, I don't. I just don't want there to be like, boy, I wonder who's going to start at quarterback for us in a month.

[Field Yates]

I think the door opened up yesterday a bit for the rookies. For those that missed it, Kenny's got hamstring injuries and a miss. Sometimes I think the Browns, when they're splitting reps between four quarterbacks, that's not very many reps for any individual player. So still learning the playbook. Rookies less likely to start week one.

[Stefania Bell]

Don't forget Joe Flacco.

[Field Yates]

Flacco's been there, done that.

[Stefania Bell]

Ben there, done that. Yeah.

[Field Yates]

So much easier to roll out the veteran and if he struggles, pull the plug and turn it over to a rookie and then kind of go through the rotation. If you throw Dylan Gabriel, the highest drafted of their two rookie quarterbacks, into, you know, the pack of wolves in week one, and he struggles and then troubles again in week two, it's like, all right, who's coming in and did we take a third round pick and make no use of it, because, of course, they took Dylan Gabriel at the end of the third round. So if I had to make a guess, it would be Joe Flacco, which I think would be fine for Jerry Judy. Jerry Judy was awesome.

[Daniel Dopp]

I want Joe Flacco for all of my Browns pass catchers. If I'm drafting David and Joku, I'd rather have Joe Flacco be my starting quarterback.

[Field Yates]

Exactly. I love this next pick. Love this next pick right there after Jerry Judy. Play by Team 9. Isaiah Pacheco, man, just like slept on. I mean just. He's a really good player. Really good player who obviously last year came back from that foot injury not too early, but it was a reminder. That foot injury clearly hampered him. Like he looked like a shell of himself. The team had no running game last year. They still somehow made the super bowl, but they had no running game last year. Pacheco should look much more like the player that was going like 15th overall last year.

[Daniel Dopp]

I was. So I've had this conversation this offseason where it's what's changed other than Pacheco getting hurt last year? What's changed in this backfield for the Chiefs? Did they add anybody super interesting?

[Stefania Bell]

That's really going to make you nervous, I think. Here's what I think part of the problem is on Pacheco. I think people think that he didn't look great when he came back. Remember he was hurt last year but.

[Daniel Dopp]

Came back from injury.

[Stefania Bell]

Yes, I know, but I'm saying he didn't look quite the same. He had a. He had a really nasty injury and it was impressive that he came back. And also when you, when you're a team that's making a run in the playoffs, in a Super bowl run, you have a player who can potentially be out there to help you. Even if he might not be at his pre injury self yet, you want to activate him. But I think if people saw that, they're like, ah, I don't know. I don't know. I didn't see the Isaiah Pacheco I knew from before. I think that that's where maybe some of the interest has leveled off. But I think he will surprise people when he comes back this year. Now he's had the off season in that offense.

[Daniel Dopp]

This is a great value for him literally. He was running back 12 to 15 last year. He's coming off the board as running back. The team has not added anyone else at the running backs. A seventh rounder right pick who was.

[Field Yates]

A wide receiver Miami who became a running back at smu. Good player but okay.

[Daniel Dopp]

And are you worried about the ghost of Kareem Hunt and the lack of efficiency that exists there?

[Field Yates]

I am not. I'm in on Isaiah Pacheco.

I understand that he is a lot. I'm just saying like he's not a guy that like I think is going to steal carries. I I am with you field if Pacheco, it didn't work for me in ADP, but I think he's great value.

He's like, okay, he's an ascending player. Justin Jefferson, who will command much of the attention. Jefferson, by the way, going to be reevaluated later this week by now. Yeah, later this week now. But a hamstring injury that we're monitoring. Addison was arrested, I believe, for DUI or something on the road. Sorry for not having that fresh right now, but he may be suspended to begin the season. But again, as my fourth wide receiver, I do not need him out of the shoots here, so I will take him, understanding that I will probably not have him on my. In my week one lineup.

But you won't need him in week one with where you got, like, that's why he's so great.

Brian Thomas Jr. DK Metcalf, Xavier Worthy or James Cook in the flex, have me accounted for. So I do not need Addison in week one.

It was definitely that. That switch, right. The elevation of Puka Nakua. Who. Look at the difference. Puka Nakua at the very tippy top of our wide receivers and Cooper cup, my, how the mighty have fallen.

So I think that the reality for these guys is for Cooper cup is that the Seahawks have a great belief in him. He's also wide receiver, too, for Seattle in what should be a run heavy scheme. But that's why Cooper cup is going what, round nine right now, end of round eight.

[Daniel Dopp]

So after Cooper cup comes off, Jacoby Myers, I was hoping he was going to last. I wanted Jacoby Myers. He's one of those guys that I feel like always lasts longer than he should.

[Field Yates]

He's just a good football player.

[Stefania Bell]

I debated between him actually when I was looking at Jerry Judy, I was.

[Daniel Dopp]

Thinking about Jacoby, those two. And then Chris Olave. I ended up going I need another wide receiver here. I only have three. And Jamar Chase, Garrett Wilson and Devonte Smith. I ended up going with the rookie Matthew Golden. Seeing what this guy could bring to the table here in a Jordan Love led offense. Packers are looking for a true wide receiver one.

[Field Yates]

That's the question.

[Daniel Dopp]

Is he going to be that guy?

[Stefania Bell]

I don't know because they seem to.

[Field Yates]

Be like they are.

[Daniel Dopp]

They should look for one. If they're not, they seem to be.

[Field Yates]

Suggesting they need one. I just, I don't know if like I like the talent of other wide receivers. Like I think Jada Reed's fire and Watson one healthy is obviously a useful player. Well, they told this. I mean Josh Jacobs came out in September at the beginning of the off season. He was like we need a wide receiver one. It was like did he just say that about his teammates? And he was like, yes, I did. So I think the packers have told us they believe they need a wide receiver one which they got in Matthew Golden. The question is, does he emerge as that right away? Because we haven't really seen with Jordan Love like what it looks like to have a one wide receiver offense. It's been like everybody gets their plates and we feast. So yeah, where we are at round nine of the draft, totally reasonable.

[Daniel Dopp]

Wide receiver four for me. Yeah.

[Field Yates]

Yeah. He could also be the third packers wide receiver.

[Daniel Dopp]

Absolutely.

Would it surprise us?

I'm going to grab a quarterback here now that I've waited this long. Yeah, I do need one. But there's so many good ones on the board.

Bonus Nicks, Kyler Murray, Brock Purdy, Justin Herbert. I love Dak Prescott again this year. Justin Fields. If, if we weren't wrapping up this draft, I probably would wait another round or two before I grab a quarterback with all the names that are still available. But I'm going to go with the guy that I love the most and that is Brock. Bo Nicks. Excuse me. Excited about the second year. Not Brock Nicks second year in Denver.

[Stefania Bell]

Excited to see how that offense is going to continue to flourish. Watch him. I mean he looked so good the second half of his rookie season. Knows how to utilize his legs over under carries. I mean I am pumped to see what he can do here in the Sean Payton offense in year two. Easy for me to be able to grab him in the ninth round. He's not going to be a guy that I think has a chance to finish as QB1 in fantasy football, but given all the other values that I got on my team, I'm happy with him here.

[Field Yates]

After Bo Nix, Cam Scatterbo came off the board. Then Stefan Diggs. Stefan Diggs, another wide receiver that has just continued to fall his adp.

[Field Yates]

Oh, I think his ADP will actually play back up.

I think it's going to rise now that he's, now that he's not on practice.

[Field Yates]

So he did not end up on the PDP list at all for the Patriots. I was going to say by all accounts he's had a great rehab. Like I know crap about rehab processes. That being said, the fact that he's on the field for the start of training camp is at least an indication that there is some optimism about where he stands at the moment. And if he's the clear cut best receiver by a mile on his own team with an ascending quarterback and a good offense, very strong value there in round nine. Travis Kelsey goes. I'm on the clock. I have just one bench player and then a tight end to grab here. I'm going to take our friend Mark Andrews choosing basically between him and Evan Ingram. Kind of the final two tight ends in this tier. What broke that tie for you truthfully? Maybe like the devil you don't the do know versus devil you don't know yet like Evan Ingram.

[Daniel Dopp]

New offense should be, should be very.

[Field Yates]

Good in that offense is is Evan Ingram now at the point where it's like 70 like you know, 70 to 80 catches for like 750 to 850 yards and a handful of touchdowns. Whereas I'm not banking on Mark Andrews getting 10 touchdowns this year. I think there's like a non zero chance that Isaiah likely explodes this season but Andrews, because his quarterback is Lamar Bleeping Jackson could catch 10 passes, 10 touchdown passes this year. It's close. Very close.

[Daniel Dopp]

Very close. There I was, I was a little bit concerned about Isaiah likely potentially coming on this year. He's not someone that we ranked.

[Field Yates]

May not be likely but it's possible.

[Daniel Dopp]

All right. After Mark Andrews, Ricky Piersol comes off the board and then Juwan, Jenny's back to back.

I know the Niners wide receivers. Yeah.

Ricky Piersol first, Joanne Jennings.

I think if you could get from Ricky Piersol what you were getting from Juwan Jennings last year, you'd be like, oh, that looks pretty good. Like, look at some of these games here.

Seven catches for on 10 targets. Seven catches on 10 targets. Four catches on six targets, seven on eight targets, five on seven. Like we've seen. Like there's some evidence here.

What was the big game? How many fantasy points did he score in that. In the. In the.

11 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns in one game.

[Daniel Dopp]

So maybe I'm just the guy. Maybe I'm the bad guy here.

I just feel like that's what sticks in everyone's mind and they don't think about the fact that in the rest of his career he's had four games where he's hit 20 fantasy points.

[Field Yates]

Yeah. I think the big thing for Jennings is we're projecting that he's going to play a decidedly different role than he's played throughout his career. I look at it as like when he's been available. We're picking in the ninth round. Correct. 20 plus upside is a little bit less likely. Like I think Juwan Jennings can be like Jacoby Myers if he gets a chance to play substantial snaps all season. And there's.

[Stefania Bell]

I think he will.

[Field Yates]

Oh, Deebo Samuel. Brandon Aiyuk is a moving target at best.

[Stefania Bell]

And it's a moving target who will be coming off a multi ligament knee injury. And I think if you are the 49ers who paid heftily. If you remember last year with no Brandon Aiyuk at the start of camp because there was contract dispute, they ended up paying him pretty handsomely. That was all part of the issue. If you invest that much and then you have somebody coming off that kind of injury, you are not going to A, rush them back or B, expect them to overproduce.

[Field Yates]

Bad for Bad there too, between the player and the team.

[Stefania Bell]

Yeah, well, that also. But Juwan Jennings proved. I think. I think Juwan Jennings showed the 49ers something that they didn't necessarily expect when he performed the way he did last year. And then he developed this strong rapport with Brock Purdy. Ricky Piersol is on the ascent, without a doubt. And I love Ricky Pearsall. What's not to love? The guy got shot.

[Daniel Dopp]

Don't say that.

[Stefania Bell]

And was.

[Daniel Dopp]

I love Ricky Pierce. All you like Ricky Piersol. Okay.

[Stefania Bell]

But Juwan Jennings, I think is going to step right back into the role that he did last year. So I don't think that was a fluke is my point. And he becomes the de facto wide receiver one right now for them.

[Daniel Dopp]

And this is what's great about being here, is you guys are allowed to have your own opinion whether it's right or wrong. You know what I mean? I feel like Ricky Pearsall, former first round pick, a guy that had three games with at least 17 fantasy points in his rookie season in which he got shot to start the year. I think the upside is just he.

[Field Yates]

Was a higher rated prospect coming at him of high school.

[Daniel Dopp]

Okay, you know what?

[Field Yates]

Go back and check this. I think Juan Jennings was ranked ahead of like Justin Fields coming out of high school.

[Daniel Dopp]

He went to Tennessee, became a wide receiver. I think he's an underrated, mind you.

For what it's worth, we're arguing about wide receivers. I think both are great value here in the ninth round.

I was looking at Mark Andrews, Evan Ingram, and to me, they're right next to each other just because of what we've seen. Like a couple years ago, Mark Andrews would have been so much higher. Right. And Evan Ingram was injured last year, healthy. Now, I like him in this Denver offense a lot and I know we haven't seen it yet, but I think this is good value for tight end if you're not getting one of the ones at the top. I wanted Scatterbo. That was my running back choice that I was going to get here. And I'm surprised. I feel like he's going a little bit earlier. Like the vibe of Tyrone Tracy. Yeah, by a decent amount, which I think people like him. So if I was picking next, are We. Are we done? Are we going?

[Daniel Dopp]

No, you got another one.

[Stefania Bell]

You got one more, then that is where I'm going. I'm going to go with Tyrone Tracy. Yep.

[Field Yates]

I like that. Stefania, he probably, if they play the game tomorrow, is the starting running back.

[Daniel Dopp]

Now, it may be the most likely outcome is these guys just kind of shooting. But I don't think this is like Najee Harris, Jalen Warren, where it's like one plays very specific style, the other plays a very specific style. Tracy's a better straight line athlete than Scattaboo. They're both very, very good pass catchers. Tracy, you guys may recall, played wide receiver for the first four years of his college career. Scatabu is a great pass catcher. He became the first FBS running back since Christian McCaffrey, who had at least 1500 rushing yards and 500.

And if you remember that bowl game, I mean, it just sticks in your memory because he was such a beast in that game. But Tyrone Tracy, I just got him. What pick was that?

While you look at that. Tyrone Tracy came off the board as Stefania, then Brian Robinson, Kyle Pitts at the tight end spot. There's been some buzz about him. Jordan Mason and then Rashad White. We're looking at a lot of backup running backs here. Field some like, I'm taking Debo.

[Stefania Bell]

Getting depth.

[Field Yates]

I'm taking Debo. We'll see. We'll see. I think there's.

[Stefania Bell]

You guys love him now. He's not.

[Field Yates]

No. You know, but I think there's. I think there's some. There's definitely a wider range of outcomes here. Like, there's questions about how effective of a player Debo Samuels is. One thing I will say, if ever there was a time for Debo Samuel to be very motivated, it would be right now. Right? He's going into a contract.

[Stefania Bell]

Adam Peters knew what he was getting, right. He goes. It's a very friendly landing spot for him. And with Jaden Daniels being Jaden Daniels, those opportunities for Debo, I mean, I love Deebo in this offense. With this quarterback.

[Field Yates]

It's wide receiver, too, with an elite quarterback and an offense that really needed that second Wide receiver option. They'll scheme some plays up for him as basically an extension of the running game. So I'm in on Debo here. My team is done. By the way. You want me to read my team?

[Daniel Dopp]

Almost in one second. I'll let you do it. Okay, I'll do that. We got Debo, then Javante Williams, then J.K. dobbins, then Brock Purdy. I'm the last pick of the draft.

I thought like you had said, like he's a guy. There's some volatility there, especially within that offense. But Khalil Shakir could easily catch 100 balls.

This could get close to it.

He might not have a 1200 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, but he is going to be a guy that continues to be a person in this offense that is going to be targeted heavily. I'm going to grab him as my wide receiver. Five I could and that's going to wrap it up for this draft. Let's take a quick look at the at the rosters that we have and pick who we think the best team is. Stefania, we'll start with you. Let's throw your team up on the board. Why?

Hindsight because I'm full transparency. Right. This is my ideal team. Look, I've got one of the best quarterbacks in the league. I do love that. And I've got one of the top tier running backs. So I do love that. And I've got maybe the wide receiver who can up as wide receiver one for all of fantasy. So not a bad start. Decent at the tight end position. Don't love all my running back depth. It's not not it didn't fall to me the way I wanted it so that I kept waiting. You know I went with a. I took a little bit of a gamble putting Rishi Rice on my bench. I will say this, this conversation, I've heard it in listening. I like to listen to a variety of of podcasts. I read a lot of people just try to get sort of what is the brain think out there and there's a reminder and I would say the year I won the war room league, this was very true. You don't necessarily win it in the first few weeks. A lot of what you win is what you win at the end. And so if Rasheed Rice is suspended early on but he comes back and does Rashi Rice things late, then I've got the boost in my bench depth for taking that gamble early. So that was some of the rationale going through my head. But I didn't really end up with all the running back depth.

[Field Yates]

Should we flash it one more time and just read it to people? Read the script.

[Daniel Dopp]

I think that's a great idea. So when you look at Stefania's. Stefania, Puka Nakua. Oh, let's start as well. Lamar Jackson, Devon Achan, Aaron Jones, Puka Nakua, T. Higgins, Evan Ingram and Rasheed Rice. That is the starting lineup. Top three bench players are Calvin Ridley, Jerry Judy and Tyrone Tracy Jr.

[Field Yates]

Okay. And again, I had picked five so I was smack dab in the middle. My quarterback is Baker Mayfield, Jameer Gibbs, Josh Jacobs, Brian Thomas Jr. DK Metcalf, Mark Andrews, James Cook. So strong running back trio with wide receiver option on the bench and Xavier Worthy wide receiver.

So can this be my war room league team? Tabira Gibbs was my first round pick. I mentioned again, we'll talk about this plenty of times. There's sort of five players that are generally going with the first. First five picks in draft in some order of Jamar Chase, Bijan Robinson, Justin Jefferson, Saquon Barkley, Jameer Gibbs. I think there's a chance with a little bit of preseason flashing that we'll see Ashton Genti into that mix. I think Christian McCaffrey at least belongs in that conversation. There are, you know, I think CD Lamb and Puka Nukua could make a case. That's why I like those values for them later in first round. But that's my team. I feel feel good about it.

My picks, I started with Jamar Chase and it's just so easy when you're at one on one. I feel like you have to go with that route. So that means I'm hoping that running backs made it down to me and they did. At the quarterback spot, Bonix. Then Jonathan Taylor, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, Garrett Wilson, George Kittle at the tight end spot and Devonte Smith rounds out my starting lineup. My bench is David Montgomery. Matthew golden and Khalil Shakir probably would have done those wide receivers off opposite. Like I could have. I could have potentially. Honestly, I like Khalil more than everyone else. If you look at my rankings, I'm way higher than you guys are on Khalil Shakir this year.
