Fantasy Focus. Hello and welcome into Fantasy Focus Football presented by Little Caesars. My name is Daniel do. Joined alongside Field Yates here, Mike Clay as well. But he's gonna die at the end of this one.
C
No, he. He might not make it.
A
Might make it to the end of this one.
B
A whole show, guys.
A
Oh, let's hope not. At Mike, right now, today you should be watching the YouTube stream because we are in some costumes and if you are just listening, it is not going to be as fun. Why don't we start with Mike Clay? Mike, do you want to describe to the good people at home what you are?
B
Mine's very simple.
A
6, 7 Mike has a hat that says 67 on it. He's got a pair of balloons that say 67 on it. Underneath that he's got a shirt that says 67. And taking names.
B
Yep. I could see save this for myself.
A
This is incredible that you found all these things.
B
Amazon. I got a chain. Six, seven, chain.
A
Oh, I didn't even see the chain, Mike.
B
It's from my playing days. I was off guard. Guard. Yeah.
C
I wonder if the. Was that chain already in circulation prior to the 6, 7 fat.
B
I mean you can get basically any number. You can get goods in any number. But 667 is a popular one right now.
A
Okay. All right. I'm just general.
B
Just general concept of 6, 7.
A
You're the general 6, 7. Yeah.
B
This is funny. Or it's just going to help ruin it for kids.
C
It's already been ruined. Congratulations on that.
A
Thank you.
B
Mission accomplished.
A
If your daughter saw you right now, would they be like, oh my gosh, dad. No, no.
B
They were heavily invested in this.
A
Are you serious? Oh, I love that.
B
So excited.
C
They're such little angels. Don't infest their brain with this crap.
B
No, I'm. I'm going to.
A
Oh, that's amazing. All right.
B
Tonight for trick or treat, were your.
A
Daughters into your costume as well then, Field?
C
I don't know. Maybe. I'm actually. For those that aren't, that can't see, that are only listening, I'm dressed up as Kenneth Walker iii right now, half of a bell cow running back.
A
Half of a bell cow running back.
B
Which means you're useless.
A
I love it.
C
Correct. Yes. I'm half of a bell cow.
A
We were trying to figure out what field was. Cause I was like, fields, you look like a bell cow running back. And that's something that you were last year.
C
Right. So I'm just half of one this year.
B
Okay.
C
So next year I'm just gonna take the top of this off and just wear a black tee like Mike, Listen, in this economy buying costumes, you're not wrong. What are you, Daniel?
A
I am the statapillar. The statapillar from the fantasy show with Matthew Berry. We actually had a bunch of different statopillars throughout the of the show. I believe this first one was the Damian Dabrowski iteration of it. However, we also had Kevin. James Pulsifer was the stat a pillar.
C
Kevin Durant. James Pulsar.
A
Yeah, that's right. That's right. Kevin from Home Alone. James Pulsifer, and then Mackenzie Kramer. Still researches. Yes, still research here at espn, helping out on ebl. So big shout out to Mackenzie and Kevin and Damian because I get to be them. Whenever we did this stupid show, which was so much fun to be able to do, I never had to wear this. And they would complain about it because. Because this thing has, like eight arms.
C
It's also currently I had to pull.
A
Part of it from the air infested. Yeah. Well, it's been sitting in an attic for a couple years right now. So we're gonna dive in. We'll have a lot of fun with this, though. Great that you guys dressed up. Hopefully you guys have a lot of fun as well on Halloween. We want to wish you the best. Having a good time tonight with your families. But let's talk about some football.
C
Okay, let's do it.
A
Let's dive in. We got a Thursday night football recap, and we're gonna have some fun Halloween themed segments throughout the show. But let's start with a recap of last night's game where we saw the Ravens and the Dolphins field Yates.
C
Four players mattered from that game.
B
Yes, four total.
A
We can keep it tight.
C
Yeah, we can.
B
Be quick.
C
Yeah. So Lamar Jackson is back. Thank you, Lamar. We love you. It was amazing. Four passing touchdowns. Flat out ridiculous, including two to Mark Henry. Mark Andrews, of course, Henry. Mark Andrews had two catches for 22 yards and two touchdowns. But for the Ravens guys, it's all about two players. Lamar Jackson.
B
Yep.
C
And Derrick Henry, who now has back to back to back solid games. 13.1 is not dominant by any stretch, but he had 119 rushing yards so that's not terrible from Derrick Henry. And don't you feel like Zay Flowers is starting to become the Zay Flowers of old?
A
Yes.
B
Yeah, he's been really good. He only had 11.4 points in this game, but played well. And he had 14 plus fantasy points in each of Lamar's first four games. So he's been really good. When Lamar has been on the feet, he's been good overall this season. So he's fine. Just one of them solid starters. By the way, I will say this about Mark Andrews. Score two touchdowns, get three targets and that's, I mean we're right back to 20, 24. Same old Mark Andrews. You're not going to get a lot of volume. You're just going to hope that he finds the end zone. And one more note here. Ravens, four or more touchdowns in every game Lamar has played in full this season. That seems good. They are cruising off four for four and scoring four plus touchdowns. So that's legit.
A
Love that.
B
Yeah.
A
And Derrick Henry had. He just found the end zone. This is one of the things talking.
C
About it differently, right?
A
I mean 13.1 fantasy points with passing game usage and no like no touchdowns means that King Henry still did King Henry.
B
So I don't know if he had more than one, but he had that catch on. It was just like you were the ninth read. He was looking at some linemen first and then he dumped it off to Henry and he got about throwing it.
A
Away to a player in the stand, a fan in the stands and then decided to come back to Derrick Henry.
C
Can we just shout out Dolphins fans right now? And here's why I want to shout them out. It's a tough year and the fact that you guys continue to ride with this team shout out to you, that is loyalty. Watching this team last night was so frustrating. Not that we don't watch them every week, but man, they are a tough like the two players that matter in fantasy for this team are obvious. Devon Hn is just an absolute phenom. The guy is catching a zillion passes. Even if he has poor rushing efficiency, it doesn't matter because he has legitimate wide receiver two receiving work like the guy's going to catch 90 balls this year, right? He's ridiculous. And Jalen Waddle had 6 for 82. He had another gigantic play that was taken off the board because of an iffy at best, just a terrible Call. That was the tripping on Ollie Gordon.
A
That was not trippy.
C
That was not tripping. Guy wasn't a trip. Waddle's a stud. 14 plus fantasy points once again. But this team, man, is so frustrating. TUA is obviously very frustrating to watch. But the stuff that also grinds my gears from watching Miami is I was watching a couple of sequences last night where they were in Baltimore territory or at least in a spot where four downs is possible, right? Third and 10. It's like run the football or throw the football short of the sticks and you're like, okay, like if you're going to throw the ball 4 yards on 3rd and 10, it must be setting up 4th and 6. We're going to go for it. And then it's like third and ten, I'm sorry, third and ten becomes fourth and six and let's punt it. Like, what are you doing here?
A
The only way I feel like you're throwing the ball short of the sticks like that is if it's just a designed screen where you're going to put some big guys in front of the person with the football.
C
This is like Devon HN's like out in the flat with nobody besides defensive players anywhere near him. And it's like, congratulations, you advanced the ball 40% of how far you need to go and now you have to punt.
A
Now you gotta punt.
C
They're frustrating.
B
Yeah. Not to mention the end zone fade on fourth down. That was to no one. I mean there was so many. I remember last week in primetime we were talking about this kind of the same thing with the commanders and Chiefs. You're like, if you're gonna upset a team like this as a heavy underdog, you get down the field early in the game, get some points. You know, stop, stop with these self inflicted wounds. And that's what Miami did. They were getting down the field often. They had they way out yardage. Out, out yardage, out yard.
A
We'll make that a word.
B
Yeah, there's out gained. There's the word out. Baltimore in the first half, but they just kept making mistakes.
C
Just like they were averaging like between six, seven yards of play. Well, take advantage of. Well done.
B
I got to find my windows here. I did do research to try to find six, seven stats and there's just not that many of them.
A
How many windows you think you're going to have in the show to be able to get that joke in?
C
Six or seven?
B
I don't know.
A
Thank you. Field. Dang it. Come on, Mike.
B
You just want to join?
A
I Put on a platter for you even.
B
This is.
C
This is lob city. This is craz. Chris Paul throwing Ali Griffin.
B
Okay, okay. It's my first day.
C
How many points this is. Okay, how many trivia here? How many points did Chris Paul average as a rookie?
B
6, 67, 6.7, 6.7, whatever.
C
The answer is probably more like 20, but just every time.
B
You just make it to me every stat.
A
Hey, how many points do you guys expect the Dolphins to score every week? Because I'm thinking somewhere in the six to seven range. Right. And is there anything else left to even say about the Miami Dolphins?
C
Honestly, two guys for them. It's three guys for the Ravens.
A
All right, let's talk about some lineup locks. We call this segment the Lockening.
C
The Lockening. You gotta use your scariest voice on Halloween.
A
Is this player, in a world of players that can't be locked in as lineup locks, an actual lineup lock? All right, field, we're gonna go with you first.
C
All righty, Daniel. Thank you. I'm gonna stop using this.
A
No, I like your low, grovelly voice. Come on.
C
Low grovelly voice. Brock Purdy might or might not return the 49ers.
A
Is he gonna play this week? What do we got?
C
I lean no on Brock Purdy. That being said, let' if he does return. I don't feel I felt confident in Lamar last week not playing. I don't feel quite as strongly about Brock Purdy sitting. But let's just talk about what Brock has done. It's been a small sample size this season. He's played two games, 17.7 and 16.8 fantasy points. So he's yet to reach 18, which is a number that you and I have identified as like, we take that out of our quarterback and we largely feel, okay, maybe not as much if it's Lamar or course one of those guys, but generally speaking, you know, a mid tier starting quarterback, which Brock Purdy is in general, 18 is a solid start with 277 passing yards plus 309 passing yards. He has two passing touchdowns in each of those games. He threw two interceptions in each of those games, he rushed for a total of 30 yards. So everything is pretty good for Brock Purdy. The thing that gives you confidence this weekend if he does play, is what a matchup it is the Giants who've allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing starting quarterback. So if Brock Purdy is out, then yes, I do believe is in. I do believe Brock Purdy should be in your lineup.
A
We got a banged up cornerback as well. In the Giants secondary as well.
B
Yeah.
C
And the Debo. I mean, they're all banged up.
A
Everyone is. Yeah.
C
Holland's been banged up recently.
A
We're all day to day, I believe, as you are.
B
Yes.
C
Good opportunity here for Brock if he returns. If not, then obviously Mac Jones comes back on the radar. And Mac has been rock steady. The fantasy outlook would not be quite as strong. Sure as it was or as it is for Brock Purdy. That being said, kind of quietly, Mac Jones put up 18 against the Texans last weekend, which is the second highest total of any quarterback this season.
A
Doesn't feel like. Are you guys planning on seeing Ricky Pierce all this week or does it feel like we're going to have another week?
B
It doesn't look good.
A
Yeah, it doesn't.
B
Now Juwan Jennings.
C
Talk about that later. Yeah.
B
Okay. Joanne Jennings ascent continues.
A
All right.
C
Yeah. Love that. Someone called him a stock up player a couple days.
B
They did. Yeah. That was you?
A
Yeah.
B
That's why that was a callback.
A
I like that. All right.
C
All right. You're redeemed.
A
All right, Go ahead, Mike.
B
My turn, guys. I'm going to go with Daniel Jones.
C
Speaking of quarterbacks year, six or seven for Jones, in the end it's. I don't know.
B
I'd say six or seven. It's hard to say.
A
One of those.
B
One of those. Two. But one weekly finish better than tenth in his last six games.
C
Seven.
B
It is seven. Yeah. One weekly finished better than tenth in his last six. Only one hand. Six.
C
Six games.
B
But he's had a solid floor. 22 plus points and three straight now. Multiple touchdown passes in four consecutive games. He's fourth in the NFL in passing yards and they're playing the Steelers this week, which for calling him a borderline QB. 1. We like to match up Steelers most completions and passing yards plus the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Jordan Love have reached 26 fantasy points against the Steelers over the last two weeks and now Daniel Jones steps in against this defense. So yeah, I mean, look, he's generally a borderline guy, but this week he's a lineup.
C
So when you recalibrate that stat, one elite quarterback and also Jordan Love reached 26.
A
That's right.
B
Exactly.
A
That's it.
C
That's pretty crazy.
B
Yeah, it is.
C
That's. That's impressive for Jordan Luff.
B
Yeah, it is.
A
All right. I like it.
B
I like it.
C
Dimes. Yeah.
A
Joe, so are you saying is. So he is or is not a lineup block for you this week? He is this week he is a lineup block. He is.
B
All right, lock him in.
A
I say lock him in. I'm going to talk about Wondale Robinson. I figured it was worth a conversation.
B
Whoa. Yeah.
C
Did not expect that one there. Fire away.
A
Taking on the 49ers weeks one through three before Malik neighbors got hurt, played 75% of the snaps. Since Malik Neighbors went down, he's played 95% of the snaps. He just literally does not come off the field. 25% target share. Since taking over as the wide receiver, one of this crew. And now the 49ers have given up the 12th most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position. They have allowed seven passing touchdowns to wide receivers in seven games so far this year. So my question, I have him as a flex lock for me. He's not a wide receiver too. I've got him as a lineup block as wide receiver. 24 for me here in week nine. That's fair. So I was going to ask you guys, do you think now, I mean, we've just unfortunately seen this entire Giants offense just ravaged. It's basically Jackson Dart and Wandale Robinson and I guess Tyrone Tracy now coming in as the next man up there. But it feels like he's worked his way because there's not another pass catcher into a trusted flex position here for you.
C
That's about right.
A
And that's sort of where he lands for me. So he is a flex lock for me.
C
The only time that Wanda Robinson wins you your week is when Mike and I are in person to watch him do it against Mike.
A
That's right. That's right.
C
Other than that, it's just like a series of like, you know, 8 to 12 point performances from Wendell Robinson. Yep.
B
Yeah, yeah, I'm starting him if I have them, most likely. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
He's.
B
He's been really good this week.
C
All right, next up here is a player that I don't believe is a lineup lock this week. All right, going back to the. Well here it's Bo Nicks.
B
Field hates Bill Bo Nicks, uh oh.
C
We'Ve been saying for a long time.
A
Incredible back to back games though field.
C
He has however, the matchup this week. This is why he's a potential sid as the Texans have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
A
Seems not good.
C
No quarterback has reached even 20 fantasy points so far this season against the Houston Texans and they are one of four teams allowing under 180 passing yards per game this season. They're awesome. The Broncos are a Very talented offense. They've got a great offensive line, so perhaps they can neutralize that rush a little bit for Houston. I was looking back at last week's game for Mac Jones and like he did have what Mack did well last week is he had two passing touchdowns. He did not turn the ball over. Like that's how you get to 18 fantasy points. That's going to have to be the key here for Beau to have similar success. Obviously, Bo runs the football a whole lot more than Mac Jones does. But if you have Bo on your roster this week, this might be a week where you consider somebody else. What do you got?
A
I'm raising one of the eight hands that I have hit me.
C
What do you got?
A
I just wanted to say this. Since week five, Houston Texans are allowing quarterbacks to average 9.2 fantasy points per game. Quarterbacks are averaging under 10 fantasy points for a straight month against the Houston Texans.
C
They are elite defensively. They're obviously a gigantic work in progress on offense. That being said, defensively they are awesome. So Bo, if you have him and there aren't a ton of amazing streaming options this week. Right. But if you grabbed a Matthew Stafford early in the season, Sam Darnold against Washington, against Washington, maybe you have some confidence in players along those lines. Flacco opportunities year.
A
Would you do Joe Flacco against the Chicago Bears over Bo?
C
Nick Close. It's close, but I think I'd probably still lean towards Bo. You go Bo.
B
I'd go bow there. Okay.
C
But both quarterbacks in this game face a difficult challenge.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
So you stroud against the Broncos too, even without Satan?
B
Yeah, I've nicked just at a Stroud. Both would be not line on blocks for me. I'm sitting both if I can.
A
Okay.
B
Yeah.
C
Who do you got?
B
My turn.
A
Next one up.
B
This is a guy I've ranked ahead of both of those guys, but is also not a lineup block. Jordan Love. And he's notable coming off a big game, fellas. 28.3 fantasy points last week. That's the most he's delivered since he had a career high 28.4 in week 17 back in 2023. So we haven't seen a big game like that for from Jordan Love in a long time. He has two top five fantasy outings this season, but there's only finishes better than 11th. So he said the two big games. Otherwise he has not been a a very good starter. In fact, he's been 16th or lower four times. He is playing good football, which is the trend for him. He played well last year too. He just didn't run the ball very much. But his passing numbers this year are all over the map. And I did point this out the other week. He is running the ball more last season. He already has more rushing yards this year than he had all of last season, but he still only has 109 yards and has no rushing touchdown. So he's not really moving the needle here. The Panthers have kind of fallen off against quarterbacks. It's the only kind of saving grace. It's why I have him ahead of some of the other guys we talked about at 13th in my rankings. The Panthers have allowed 22 plus fantasy points to the opposing quarterback and for their last five.
A
Wow.
B
So he's not again, as far as these guys go. We're ranking his QB2s. He's a good one, but he's not.
C
A lineup block for sure. Into Love is the classic, like, just really good real life quarterback, sometimes really good fantasy quarterback. Like, just better. The Philip Rivers and him don't have a lot in common, but Philip Rivers was always a better real life quarterback than fantasy quarterback. That's the only parallel I'm drawing between.
B
The two of them.
C
But Jordan Love is a baller who just has a little bit less upside because of two things. He doesn't run that much, as Mike just alluded to. And Josh Jacobs scores like a thousand touchdowns a year.
B
He's so good. Yeah, he does.
A
I think he's. He kind of reminds me of in a different way. Jared Goff.
B
They're all in that same category. Yeah.
C
Yep.
A
There's a good one too where it's like he's a. He's a better real life quarterback than he is a fantasy quarterback. You'll have games where it's really nice games. And you had mentioned this last year. I think this was a really good call even though it didn't materialize last year. I still want to give you credit for this. I like, I think the right way to look at Jordan Love right now with the way that the Green Bay packers run their offense is I don't need to be in on one of the wide receivers. Like, if I want to be in on the passing game, I'll just be in on Jordan Love as a streamer when I need it. Because, like, I'd rather throw a dart at Jordan Love as a streamer on a bye week than feel like I'm going to trust one of the pass catchers. Because they don't. They just spread the ball around Everybody.
C
Five, one and one. They don't need these guys.
B
Yeah.

A
All right, I'm gonna talk about another guy. I cannot believe this, but I don't think he is a lineup lock here.
B
All right.
C
Wow. Why do you.
A
Since his explosive 121 yard return in week four.
B
Oh, I know where you're going.
A
Xavier Worthy has not topped more than 53 receiving yards in a game. 53 receiving yards last four games. So over a month he had six catches, two catches, three catches, five catches. Just nothing consistent. Doesn't feel like there's even that big playability that his game is supposed to be predicated on. We have not seen it. Two of his last three games under a 15% target share. And as a part of that, two of those games were without. Sorry. One of those games was without Rishi Rice. So he was doing that without Rice even being on the field. Hasn't topped 11 fantasy points 11.1. Excuse me. In any of his last four games. Two of those games, as we know, were without Rasheed Rice. And the Bills are allowing the ninth fewest fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position. And it's gotten to the point where we know that Rashee Rice is going to eat, period. End of story. Rashee Rice is going to. So is Xavier Worthy now in what looks to be a tough matchup still considered a lineup lockdown. If I don't think he's a lock, he's a flex dependent big play upside guy that I think that you can throw in at the running. Excuse me, wide receiver, 25 to 30 range.
C
You know, he reminds me of right now, Jameson Williams. He's better than Jamo jmo actually never sees the ball.
A
Now he doesn't even get it at all.
C
DJ Moore right now where it's like he hangs around and you're like, man, like he's really such a good player. And it's offense, it's a great matchup for Chicago. The Chiefs offense is just great. And you're like, man, like doesn't this guy have like 3 or 4 boom games in him? Like at some point. Right. Like at some point these guys have got a hit for 25 fantasy points in a week.
B
Yep.
C
And we're now almost halfway through the season and obviously Worthy was hurt for some time, but more it hasn't happened yet. It hasn't happened with Worthy yet. So I feel you like it's probably like good enough to still be in lineups.
A
He's a flex ish.
C
But a guy who you thought coming into the season might be a weak winner. Not so fast, my friend.
A
Yeah.
B
I wonder if at some point maybe teams find ways to prioritize Rasheed Rice in that. Free some up for some plays. But through two games. Yeah.
A
Also I want him just to be the, like I don't want him to take over Tyquan Thornton's role but like give me some deep shots. Like I want him to be that guy in this offense. Let Rashi Rice be the guy over the middle. Let TK continue to be the classic Travis Kelce and then you be that guy to take the top off the defense.
B
Yeah.
C
I mean I don't think that's a crazy ask for the fastest player to.
A
Ever attend the combat.
C
Let's go. The last one here for me is a lineup lock and truthfully when you hear the name, you're going to be like, yeah, no kidding. And what I did yesterday, I did some inventory And I was just thinking about players that we haven't talked about that much since the preseason. And Mike was all over this guy in the preseason. So Mike might be like, well, duh, obviously. But we haven't talked a lot about Michael Pittman Jr. Just during the regular season.
B
Yeah, good call.
C
Who faces the Pittsburgh Steelers this week? He's a lineup block for me. Steelers are bottom five in fantasy points per game allowed to opposing wide receivers. Despite all that secondary talent, they can't slow these receivers down. And while Pittman only has four games with eight or more targets, part of the secret sauce for him, and this applies to a guy like Stefan Diggs. Puka Nuku is in a different stratosphere, but it also happens to apply to Puka, is that if they get six targets, there's a pretty good chance they're catching five of those six targets. Right. Whereas you've got other receivers like Brian Thomas. Shinger to get to 8 catches, needs 31 targets.
A
Feels that way.
C
It's not quite that many, but Michael Batman Jr. Is catching 77% of his targets. So if he gets eight targets, that's going to be good for six plus, six catches, plus. And for a guy that's going to average probably 1314 yards of catch, like eight targets is in most weeks going to equate to probably 13, 14 fantasy points. And this year, touchdown opportunity.
A
Like, we've seen him become a touchdown guy for the first time ever in his career. Like, he's fine in the end zone. I think he has seven touchdowns. Since you're six or seven.
B
Yeah, it's hard not to. In this offense. I mean, they're. Yeah. Scoring four or five touchdowns.
A
They're being great.
B
Ridiculous.
A
Absolutely.
C
How many touchdowns?
B
No, four or five. So I know I can't. I can't lie.
A
How many does. How many touchdowns does Michael Pittman Jr. Have this year?
B
That is six or seven.
A
It is six or seven. That is, I think. Right.
B
I think it's probably a little high. Is it six?
C
Anyways, I. More so than I think, I wanted to give out some love to Michael Pittman Jr. Who's been awesome. The entire Colts offense has been awesome. Sheffield said this in his podcast a couple of days ago when I was sort of like. At first I was like, what? But then I was like, oh, maybe could this team have the coach of the year, the rookie of the year on offense, and Tyler Warren, the offensive player of the year and the MVP on their team? Which is interesting because Shefty said, could they have the offensive Player of the year in Daniel Jones and the MVP and Jonathan Taylor, I probably would have flipped it. Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Because quarterbacks always win that award.
A
Sure.
C
But either way, this way, I mean, to this point of the season, they're.
B
All top five in all categories.
A
Absolutely.
B
Or the heavy favorite.
C
Pretty crazy. Yeah. Good job by them.
A
Michael Pittman also, I think, is one of those guys that we don't talk about enough because he's just like. It's unsexy still for people. He's not like him. Yeah, no, it's not like a name that you're like, oh, my gosh. I think I said this earlier this season, but like, when you get a trade offer for Michael Pittman, you're like, I got to drop everything because I might be able to get Michael Pittman on my squad. But he has been unbelievably consistent for your team.
B
Yeah, he's been great.
C
All right, Mike, what do you got?
B
Next one for me. This is a guy who. He's borderline. This is a tricky one. I'm curious where you fall on Khalil Shakir, who last week. Guys, ready for this? Caught six of his seven targets. There we go. 88 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers. That was 20.8 fantasy points, his most since week 14 of last season. So it's been a minute. The key here is out of the gate this year. They were spreading the ball around a little bit more and he ju. He had a 15.5% target share during weeks one through three his last four games. That's back closer to where it was last year at 26.7%. Last year it was 23.3 and he was 35th at fantasy points per game despite only scoring four touchdowns. Not used a lot near the goal line. He does already have three touchdowns this year. He's been a little lucky in that department. He only has one end zone target. His expected total is 1.1. So he's still not getting the goal line work.
A
Last touchdown he scored was a 50 yard scamper, right? Was it not? Yeah, he's doesn't get like end zone work. It's.
B
Yeah, yeah. So that's not really sustainable. So the good news is you have a very high target share and a good offense with Josh Allen. You're not going to score touchdowns. It's a negative. And other negative is the Chiefs this week who have allowed the second fewest yards and six views fantasy points to receivers. But also, you know, they're going to be very heavily motivated. Josh Allen's going to be scrambling more, they're going to be throwing more, they're going to have to keep up. So it's a tough one for me to sort through. I have him 26, so yeah, I think in a 12 team league he's a lineup block and a 10 team league of flex option.
A
I like it.
C
Good answer.
A
I got one more here for the locking and I already talked about this player once this week, but I wanted to bring it back because I've been so negative about this player throughout his career and I think that he's a lineup block this week.
B
Wow.
A
Kyle Pitts.
B
Oh, okay.
A
Taking on the New England Patriots. If you're at the point where you're just like, guys, I've, I've already decided I'm out on Kyle Pitts. Right. It's like it might, it might be time for you to reconsider though. I understand. I don't blame you, but it might be time for you to reconsider. Three of the last four weeks had over 13 fantasy points, which is pretty good. Last two games, seven for 62 on 10 targets and nine for 95. Excuse me, nine for 59 on nine targets over 13 fantasy points in both of those games. I told you guys how forgiving the Patriots have been against the tight ends tight end position so far this year, six tight ends have scored at least 11 fantasy points. Only the Bengals have allowed more games of eleven or more fantasy points. I believe he is a lineup lock at the tight end position here in week nine. I've got him as after pulling guys out from the by which there weren't anybody out there was any football, I didn't have Mark Andrews ahead of it. He is still inside my top 10 at the position and I would be rolling with him. This week does look like we're going to have Darnell Mooney. He's been fine to practice and it looks like right now with Drake London he has been limited to practice for two days with his hip. Seems like with them being limited practices we think he's going to go but continue to monitor that just to be safe. Yeah, I'm expecting him to be there. But Kyle Pitts has still been doing well even with both those guys out there on the field.
B
Yeah, he has and people like it's hard to believe he's still only 19 years old. People don't realize that, you know, he.
C
Is seven years and he's still 19.
A
What is he seriously? He's probably still like 23.
C
He came in, he got drafted at 20 years old.
A
This is fifth year, so he might be 24. That's incredible. All right, well then let's dive into a couple of questions before we move on from our YouTube chat. This one comes from Sam Cook, tuned in for six, seven, Mike. And now Daniel has no arms. I have nothing but arms, actually.
C
Yeah, I was gonna say I got a big. I see. I count at least six arms.
A
I got a stumpy body. Well, maybe it's cuz I'm sitting. You can't really tell them all. Maybe that's what it is. All right, next one we have comes from Scott A no costume will beat when DOP was the tackling dummy.
C
That's interesting, Scott. Yeah, it will.
A
I appreciate that.
B
Scott.
C
What's so funny about that costume?
A
No idea. It was just a classic. Another question that we have. This is less of a question, more of just a solid statement. And by the way, we love Scott A here at the podcast. Another one that we have here comes from Daniel out of NowHere Flex spot, PPR scoring Christian Watson or Troy Franklin. Mike, you want to weigh in on a Packers wide receiver?
B
Troy Franklin. I gotta go. Franklin here, he's actually getting the playing time. I'll get the targets. Even if he's been inefficient, I know it's not a good matchup, but not there yet on Watson. We're just not. He's playing, but he's still being ramped up. He had a couple targets, had a couple of big plays last week, but he's not all the way back. And we know they like to spread it around.
C
Spread, spread.
B
They like to spread around to six or seven. You know what might be low actually?
C
Hey, like if this is our lowest listened to slash viewed show of the season, we know who to blame.
A
Yeah, that's right.
B
I run this bit into the ground for a reason.
A
Okay, speaking of spreading it around, let's go to our next segment called the curse of carries. Running backs which are cursed either with a bad matchup or a situation in which they have another running back to spread the ball around to in the backfield.
C
Or sometimes it's both.
A
A little bit of both.
C
Yeah.
A
Sometimes it's either one of those. How about we start with Mike for this one?
B
Okay.
A
Started with field for the last segment. Mike, I'm going to start with you for this one. Who is your first curse of the carries player?
B
Well, I'll do mine together because they're on the same team. Yeah. Okay. It's Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, my guys here. And this, it's tricky for both because there was times this year where we thought maybe both will be startable. Maybe Aaron Jones is a back end. RB2 Jordan Mason a flex option because they'll get the carries and the goal line work. But we saw Aaron Jones return last week, guys. He played 25 snaps, had five carries and four targets. Jordan Mason, 16 snaps, four carries, one target. Game script, obviously, was a big problem for Jordan Mason, and the offensive struggles were a big problem for both because they only had what they were on, 47 snaps in that game. It was a very low number. League average is around 63 or 64 plays. Jordan Mason now under 13 fantasy points in six of seven games, and that's without Aaron Jones for a majority of that. So he is like one of the.
C
First authentic uses of it. And you missed it.
B
Oh, my goodness.
A
I did. You've got a great costume for Halloween.
C
How many. How many games is Aaron Jones?
B
Six out of seven. That's. Oh, man. I can't believe I missed that. See, sometimes they just get too in the zone.
A
Yeah. You're like. You're locked in.
B
I was locked in on the numbers. I can't believe that was. You're right. That was the perfect.
A
That was so good.
C
Yeah.
B
Oh, God. Yeah. This is. I can't.
C
Oh, Michael.
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
A
You got this little.
B
Anyway, Mason game scripted out last week, and now they face your Detroit Lions. Obviously, Vikings are major underdogs in this game. Yeah. They're gonna try to get Mason involved early, and that's your opportunity. If they get an early drive and score a touchdown, maybe he gets there. But this is. It's tough to justify him. You're probably going to see a lot of Aaron Jones against a team that also has been. It's not just game script. The lines have been dominant against running backs. The fewest yards allowed to that position. So Jones, for me, is 26. Like, I don't even. I don't really even want to start him, but if I choose one of the two Vikings running backs, it would be Aaron Jones.
C
If Jordan Mason scores an opening drive touchdown, I would try to orchestrate a trade of him like, the minute, just, like immediately during the game. But this. This gives me big time. Bill Crosby merit vibes from this past week where you're nervous about the rushing efficiency, the fact that he had going into that game, seven total catches. He still has seven total catches for the season.
B
So.
C
Yep.
A
Field, I'm going to come out of that one with a running back in the same game. If you don't mind. And then we'll pivot to you.
B
Go for it.
C
Yeah.
A
Because David Montgomery is on the wrong side of the committee this year, unfortunately. And it's not that he's on the wrong side of the committee. It's just that Jameer Gibbs is that guy.
C
Yeah.
A
You know how, like there's that meme. It's like, you're just not that guy, pal. You're not that guy, pal. Jameer Gibbs is that guy, pal. Like, that's the thing. David Montgomery.
B
This is interesting before you go on. Just because I have. I have Montgomery ranked probably higher than I have all season, so.
A
Me too. I. I do as well. But that doesn't mean I feel good about it. I mean, he's still fine.
B
Decent amount of run. He's been involved a bit in passing situations. And also running back is gross.
A
So running back is gross. And I will say this. If you are going to give me a running back that I've seen be successful on a team that scores, it's either them or the Colts that leads the league in points scored this year. Like, he has an opportunity to fall in the end zone and give you 18 fantasies. He can be a two touchdown guy and give you a good game. However, he can also kind of get game scripted out a little bit based on what the Lions are doing. I want to run you through the last month.
C
Okay.
A
Week four against the Browns, nine carries for 12 yards.
C
Not good.
A
Week five against the Bengals, this was great. Bengals, we know, was really good. 18 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. Had over 18 fantasy points.
C
That wasn't the one I was thinking of. Yeah.
A
Then week six against the Chiefs, four carries for 24 yards. And week seven against the Bucks, 13 carries for 21 yards. So three of his last four games he's had under 25 yards rushing. And we already know he's not involved in the passing game very much. He'll get a catch or two a game, but he's not going to be doing much more than that. And the Vikings have allowed the ninth fewest fantasy points per game to running backs over the last month. The one thing about this running back room is when it's been a difficult matchup, Jameer Gibbs is the one that can clearly play through tough matchups. David Montgomery is more impacted by the middle of that offensive line taking a step back this year from where they were with Gibbs being able to play better. So after removing players from Monday night, excuse me, Thursday Night Football, David Montgomery actually checks in for me as running back 19 however, he's just not looked at as nicely as he was in the past with the way that the Lions have run their commit error.
B
I have a question, and based on how I asked, you're going to know the answer because it's not the obvious answer, but who has more targets over the last two weeks, David Montgomery or Jameer Gibbs?
C
I'm going to go with Craig Reynolds.
A
I was going to say Craig Reynolds too.
B
It's not gummery. Yeah, I mean, I think this says more about Gibbs than Montgomery because Gibbs target shares over the last four weeks are 8%. 8%, 4%, 11%. I mean, we.
C
He's just afraid.
B
14 or 15%. Like they're using him more as a rusher, less as a receiver. And Montgomery is kind of playing like the backup role to that, like the complimentary role and also involved in as a rusher and passer, which we almost want. Like, I almost want them to revert.
A
Back a little back the way it.
B
Was, like, even out the carries a little and get Gibbs more involved in the passing game. But whatever. As long as we're getting our fantasy points from Gibbs, I guess he's the.
A
Change of pace back now. It's just that his pace is slower than the other guy opposite.
B
But it's also weird because he's like, even. He's like. It's just like sub in and out. It doesn't matter. Like, he's not. It's not like a specific role. He's getting a similar involvement in the passing game to Gibbs right now, which is different.
C
Crazy change up.
A
I decided, by the way, the change rather than the change of pace, the.
C
Change up, the change up takes the pace off it.
A
Right?
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah, I like that. I like that.
C
You keep getting this thing stuck in your beard. You got a big, bushy beard. You know that?
A
Well, that's what they've been saying.
C
Field my turn or your turn?
A
I'm a man.
C
I'm 40. Are you?
A
That's why I have a big beard.
C
Looking 40.
A
Thank you, buddy. Oh, yeah. Now it's your turn. Go ahead.
C
All right, I'm gonna follow the mic model and do two running backs at one time. Dang it. Quote Dave Canales, Panthers head coach. Chuba has meant a lot to this organization, certainly to the identity that we wanted to build our team on.
A
Don't like this.
C
Wanted to give Chuba the opportunity to go out and continue to impact our team in a positive way. No, we cannot ignore that Rico has been exceptional in a couple of games and then in the opportunity she's had over the last two weeks.
B
It sounds like a quote you make after you trade or cut something.
A
That's exactly what it sounds like.
C
So Chuba, Rico Dowdle certainly feels like a little bit of a tide has been turned here now. We'll see. It's a tough matchup. Daniel, reminders of that last week in advance of the Steelers packers game on Sunday Night Football. But it does feel like Rico Dowdle is going to have the chance to be the man up there in Green Bay on Sunday. Does that mean he is a guaranteed top 15 or 20 play? It does not, because Chuba Hubbard will still play a role. It's also possible that Chuba will soaks up the passing game opportunities because Rico has been so brilliant just as just a pure runner between the tackles.
B
Yeah.
C
That being said, we kind of got stuck in the mud past two weeks and maybe there's a chance that Dowdle emerges as like a really strong flex consideration. Chuba kind of falls off the radar as opposed to where we've been over the past couple of weeks, which is both guys like barely clinging on to the flex consideration, especially in a week last week when there were six teams on a buy. So I do believe that Rico Dowdle will lead the team in carries. He might even start the game. He did not the past two weeks. I think Rico Doddle kind of takes over this backfield.
B
Agree.
C
He's been too good.
B
Yep. Yeah. Agree it was a pretty wide gap last week in usage, but in favor of Hubbard. But I think that's gone.
A
But you reading that made me think of the Texans head coach reading a statement about Nick Chubb this off season where it was like we love the veteran, the presence he brings to the locker room. And it was like you're saying all the things that isn't anything about how good he can be on the field. It just felt like it always feels weird whenever one of those.
C
The Texans, by the way, all sorts of talk about, you know, teams that are looking to buy at running back before the trade deadline on Tuesday, which if there's a lot of buyers, like we're going to have to find sellers too. The Texans are one of the few teams that might actually be able to sell a running back. Like, what is Damian Pierce for this Houston team? He's just sitting there collecting dust as.
B
An acting conditional seventh sort of deal.
C
Somebody needs a backup Claire Herbert deal a year ago.
B
Yeah, exactly. Right. Yeah, you're right. Sometimes it's like, okay, yeah, I thought of this yesterday too Because I heard David and Joku's name floated and I was like, oh, where could we put him? And I looked through all the teams and I'm like, I don't have a destination.
A
Really.
B
Like, the good teams are in pretty good shape. I don't know, like what team? Like, maybe the Giants, but are they buying a tight? Like, I don't know. It's hard. You have to find. You need two to tango. Right. And you need both sides. So, yeah, we'll see.
C
That's all I had on the running back. So I don't know if either one of you has another one.
A
Well, I guess since we're doing it, I'll just do another one because I've got a running back tandem that I brought to the table as well. I wish you guys had told me I would have done my running back tandem first because you guys both did running back tandems.
C
I don't know who it is.
A
Kareem Hunt and Brashard Smith.
B
Yeah. Assuming no Kansas City Chiefs.
A
And that's the thing. Did not practice either Wednesday or Thursday with a knee injury. My question is, do you think if we don't have Isaiah Pacheco that maybe one of these guys, because we have a condensed touch tree, becomes an option for us here this week?
C
I am going to forecast something. I'm going to forecast that some number of insiders on Sunday morning have a note about how the Chiefs are expected to expand the role of Brashard Smith today.
B
So the same as the last six weeks.
C
The thing is that, like, it's also like, yeah, well, when you go from three to two running backs, like, that's generally what happens, how it works. Everybody has to expand.
B
I'm going to give a warning here too, which it would not surprise me if a guy that's been a healthy scratch all season long has. Has eight carries in this game. And that's Elijah Mitchell. Yep. There's a reason they've kept him on the active roster. They've kind of kept him on ice. But you do that and you don't, you know, he's not a special teamer. Like, why is he on the roster? He's on the roster because he's a somewhat effective rusher, not a, not even a pass catcher. He's not going to help you there. Like, he's going to come in if he's active. And the reason you hold him is for these opportunities to earn the ball. So I would not. He'll be active. I would not be surprised if he.
C
Has some carries Let me guess, we're all more optimistic. If he had to start a Chiefs running back, it'd be Kareem Hunt.
B
Yes.
C
Especially because he's got the likeliest chance of a goal line carry.
B
That's it.
C
I would describe myself as more curious about Burchard Smith than ready to do something with him this weekend. Like, we also don't know if Pacheco is going to miss more than one game. The Chiefs have a buy next week, by the way. I might start Patrick Mahomes out of respect next Sunday. Like he's been that good of late. But if they don't like, if we don't see Pacheco in Week 11 and Rashard Smith plays for 50% of the snaps this weekend, then maybe we have something there that we can utilize in week 11.
B
Yeah. The one thing is he should be the clear passing down option, which is not. Not that they target the running backs a lot, but you're not turning to Kareem Hunt for much of that and you're certainly not turning to Elijah Mitchell for that.
C
So it should be maybe the Bills are in top on top of this game, by the way.
B
Yeah, that's a good point.
C
It's possible.
A
This is what I do want to say. Bills, it's a great matchup for these guys, which is part of why I want to mention Kareem Hunt at least. Bills are allowing almost 25 fantasy points per game to the running back position. They have that six most and they've given up nine touchdowns to running back. So like Kareem Hunt has a chance to fall in the end zone, be a touchdown dependent flex play if you need him this week.
B
By the way, really quick chief spills.
C
Yeah.
B
Let's go, let's go.
A
Let's do it.
B
I know best matchups you could possibly get in love.
C
Yeah. Are you doing the injury thing?
A
Not today.
C
Okay, let's do something then really quickly because I think it's important. It's sort of in the vein of the curse of carries.
A

He dropped it at the one yard line.
A
Chad Powers has arrived on Hulu. If I can't play as Russ, I'll play as someone else. My name's Chad and last name Lieutenant.
B
From executive producers Eli and Peyton Manning. Remember, you're wearing a prosthetic mask.
A
This is acting and starring Glen Powell.
C
He thinks you're a rubber chew toy.
A
Not rubber. I'm a man made of flesh.
C
The Hulu Original series Chad Powers is now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney plus for bundle subscribers terms apply. New episodes Tuesdays from Andre Stevenson's out. Yeah, are we auto starting Travion Henderson? I don't think I'm auto.
B
I mean I'm not auto starting but.
C
We'Re, we're bumping them on him.
B
I mean he's in the RB2 conversation.
C
Yeah. Yeah. So I. So Ramandre Stevenson has missed back to back practices because of a toe injury.
B
Yep.
C
I would say that Mike Raybould is definitely in that class of coaches where you can miss Wednesday, Thursday, limited Friday and still play. So if Ramondra is back today, I think there's a really solid chance he plays on Sunday. But if he is out today and we think there's a chance he's out on Sunday, this is like we've been waiting nine weeks to see more of Henderson. I'm going to temper expectations.
B
Yes.
C
Because I like if it was so obvious that he was this super dynamic player, which he is, but also ready to do it right now, then he would be playing more than he has been so far. I will be excited. I think he will float somewhere around like RB 20 to 22 my rankings if Stevenson is out. But I'd be surprised if it's like Trayvon Henderson starts on Sunday against a tough defense, the Falcons, and has like 106 rushing yards, a touchdown and five catches.
B
Yeah, I mean they have been bad against running backs over the past month or so. So maybe there's some silver or you know, some hope. There's. And also he played well last week. They gave him some opportunities and he was clearly outperforming Ramandre Stevenson. But then again, you know, as we've talked about, they clearly don't trust him as particularly as a pass blocker and Ramandre Stevenson could be ruled out and still out touch him. Like I, I mean that's how much they seem to like Ramon Stevenson. Yes. Yeah.
C
But they, by the way, they did.
B
Add Terrell Jennings to the active roster officially this week. So he's there. Added a couple guys to the practice squad, like someone like Jones. Johnson could be promoted. So we're going to learn some things. But obviously they are planning, you know, they're trying to look for running back depth and options.
C
Trying to think of his other notable injuries.
A
I got two more.
C
Okay, go.
A
I got two more. So DeAndre Swift has not practiced either day.
C
That's the same thing.
A
You think it's the same thing?
C
It's.
B
Yeah.
A
Because the other day, the other last couple of weeks he's, he's had one DNP and one limited practice. This week has just been two straight DNPs. So it's. I feel like he's been trending towards it.
C
I would guess this is more of the same deal. Okay, so.
A
Well, yeah, yeah, we'll just keep watching that just to make sure. Hopefully DeAndre Swift does good. No Terry McLaurin this week. He has already been ruled out. Even though you saw him last week. He left the game in the fourth quarter, so he's definitely out for that one. I'm trying to think if there was anybody else that was really looking for.
C
All the teams right now of guys that are.
A
I don't think there was any other big, big ones.
B
Probably no Ricky Pierce.
C
All we talked about for a minute.
B
Yeah, we're prepared here, guys. We're too busy. Worried about our costumes.
C
Puka Nakua says he's back.
B
That's it.
C
We're good. The other big ones. Come on now. Kyler Murray.
B
Oh yeah. Respected him back.
C
Right you are.
B
Yeah. You're not.
C
I don't know about that. I don't know about that is what I'll say.
B
Okay.
C
I have, I have, I have iffy confidence. Yesterday it was supposed to be Kyler speaking and they're like, actually we're going to update it. It's going to be Arizona quarterback talking to the media today.
B
Oh, okay.
C
Two things.
B
Generic, like old school Madden, like Arizona ARZ, QB7.
C
So I'll just say this. I, I'm not certain that Kyler starts on Monday night. On top of that, guys like, like. And maybe I'm getting it over my skis. Like is it possible it could be performance related and not injury related?
B
You know, that's occurred to me because sometimes we see that where. And that's been speculated a little bit with like the 49ers and certainly the Vikings. Like is car is. Are they nursing, whether you believe it or not.
C
I don't believe.
B
I feel like it's. It's easier for a team. It's common sense. Like, it's easier to say, let's give them one more a week because, you know, like, the backup's doing pretty well. So. So, yeah, no doubt about it. I think there's something. There could be something there.
C
All right. So if he's out, Kyler being out, I think we feel like everybody else's value is the same. But if you have Kyler, better grab Berset more than a football game. And by the way, Cowboys, the thing is slinging that thing, though. No doubt.
B
Yeah, it's a great matchup. You probably. I mean, you've had a replacement for him the last few weeks, so that you might want to, if you have a similar Sunday option, go that direction. I have that exact scenario where I have Kyler and a very similar back in QB1, and I would go that direct. Yeah.
C
Probably some clarity by tomorrow, by Saturday.
A
Yeah, I hope so.
B
I hope so.
A
All right, two more segments here. We're gonna dive into a little trick or target. Trick or target wide receivers who will either snag you fantasy points or potentially be a targetless trick. I'm gonna start with the person I think is the embodiment of this episode.
C
Okay.
A
I already mentioned him once.
B
All right.
A
But I think Jameson Williams this year is trick or target. Literally could not be a better definition bad one.
B
Because he's that one. That's.
A
Yes, he is. He has two games with 18 or more fantasy points. Every other game, he's been under seven fantasy points, including the idea that he has only had two catches in two. Sorry. He has had two catches in five of his seven games. Has not topped it. So he's had one or fewer. Two or fewer catches in five of his seven games. He is that big play waiting to happen. Because when you look back at it, two for 108 and a touchdown can get you 18 fantasy points in a hurry. That can be the treat. But the trick is everything else. Now, I came into the season saying they've talked about how they want to get him involved. Just this week, John Morton again doubled down and said, guys, that's all me. I haven't been getting Jameson Williams involved, and I need to find a way to get him more involved in this offense. Yeah, doesn't feel good. Vikings have been pretty good against wide receivers. But the thing about Jamo is he's that. Got that, like, that speed to take the top off a defense that literally, it's just he's that one play guy. However, he is outside my top 30 at the position because of the lack of consistency that we have seen. Love hearing what John Morton is saying, but I need to see with my eyes before I trust it with my decision to put him in my fantasy lineup.
B
So first snap this week, bubble screen.
A
To Jameson and he takes it to the house.
B
Yeah, maybe. Yeah. Yeah. Although we've seen those Minnesota perimeter corner struggling a little bit. We saw both Philly receivers just crush them. So you know, I could see him getting by Isaiah Rogers or something coming.
A
Off a bye with a offensive coordinator talking about how I need to get a guy involved. Maybe they have a few things planned so we'll see. But right now I just felt like Jameson Williams was the perfect trick or treat target. Sorry. Yeah, trick or target player.
C
By the way, the Vikings defense, I'm convinced some of the fall off they've had some personnel change over. They obviously signed too big to finish. They lost Cam Bynum in free agency to the Colts, et cetera. I wonder the pressure of having to be perfect when your offense is not good really taxes a defense. You guys have mentioned him like three times and I keep being like stop saying his name. But when is Ricky Pierce all going to play again?
A
Great question.
B
That is a huge Halloween mystery for sure. Yeah.
C
So Ricky Piersoll, man, like it just sucks. John lynch, the GM of the 49ers was on radio talking about how these PCL injuries can just be a little bit tricky. I'm not Stefania, so I'm not going to elaborate on that any further. But man, disappointing because what an opportunity this weekend against the Giants for whoever plays wide receiver for the 49ers.
B
Yep, he's.
A
I feel like he is. There's a handful of these injuries this year where I just feel like these people, to use the Halloween theme, have just like disappeared into the upside down and we just haven't heard from them. Bucky Irving is another one where it's just like what's going on with Bucky? We just haven't heard anything for some.
C
Clarity on Bucky after this week because it was almost sort of. It got to the point where it felt like we're going to get him through the buy. Yeah, we'll see though on the other.
A
Side it didn't feel though even with Ricky Pierceall when we talked about this injury, it didn't feel like it was going to be like a three to four week injury when it first.
B
Well, I didn't go on IR so No. Yeah. If a guy's not placed on ir, you assume he'll be back before four weeks. It doesn't always work out that way, but it almost always works out that way. Right, Right.
A
All right, Mike, what about you? Who's your trick or target?
B
Talk about a guy that's kind of been, like, certainly over the last month. You could say, like the good version of Jameson Williams when he's on. Let me see. Maybe it's low volume, but he's hitting for the big touchdown.
A
Okay, I know who that is.
B
Okay.
A
That is K Sean Booty.
B
That is correct.
C
Wow. That call.
A
That's right.
B
Done. Four touchdowns in his last three games. He had four in his first 25 NFL games. So it's kind of come out of nowhere, guys. He's been over five targets one time this season. That was week one, right. Out of the eight, he had nine. Yeah, great. Very unsustainable. He is fifth among receivers and touchdowns with five. But. But he is. Get ready for this. 58th in targets, 49th in catches, and 22nd in yardage. So the yardage is higher, but that's because he's hit for these long touchdowns that have converted as good of a deep ball thrower as Drake May is.
A
Yes, he is.
B
He is one of the best in the business. This is not sustainable. They're playing Atlanta, fifth fewest fantasy points to receivers this season. So Booty's just one of them guys. It's gonna. He's gonna catch the random touchdown here or there. But you, he. I'm not nowhere near my lineup. No, no. Where I. You just can't trust him. You're very much in jeopardy of getting two points from him.
A
Checks out. All right. You want to do another one and then I'll come back this way. Well, let's do a train. We went this way. We'll come back this way.
C
Snake draft.
B
Yeah, don't. I go again, then?
C
Yeah, you go.
A
Oh, technically, that is. You're right. That is a snake trap.
B
Modified traffic.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
No.
A
Okay. Third round reversal, Mike. All right.
B
I'll come to my last one because my first one was a trick. This one is a target. We've talked about them throughout the week. We're going to talk about them more on Sunday. It's Travis Hunter. Yeah. Talked about him at Sports center yesterday. This guy is.
C
We're ready for Mike Lang.
B
I don't know about you guys. Do you do any shows? Do you do any other shows?
C
I do fantasy Focus. All I care about.
B
Listen to this guy. 13 targets eight catches, 101 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 last week. All four numbers are career highs. I got it in there. That was good.
A
That was.
B
Yeah, it was his first big game of the season. He has double digit fantasy points one time in non IDP leagues. It was 24.1, but he played again. I keep hammering this, but he played eight. Oh, hold on.
A
All right. Our producer just got in our ear. I don't think it is a trick, but she just said.
B
Do we just get.
A
We got an update injury.
B
Hold on.
A
I'm gonna let field handle this field. Go ahead and handle the breaking news for us.
C
Liam Cohen, Jaguars coach just announced that Liam is going to the injured reserve.
A
All right. Travis Hunter.
C
Mike was going to be. Hey, man, like he did get a. He did have an injury that kept him limited yesterday. Wow.
A
Dang it.
B
No.
A
Okay.
B
Travis Hunter didn't seem that concerned.
C
No, I know. This is one of those. You never know though, right? Because when a guy goes. Sometimes with load management these days.
B
Yep.
C
And especially now, you figure teams are going to err very much on the side of caution here. But no, that is.
B
I kind of wish this is a Halloween joke, but I don't think it is.
A
Yeah.
C
Yeah. Right From Mike Durocco right there.
A
That is a bummer. All right, well, let me ask you this question, Diamond Brown, does he get an uptick here? Brian Thomas Jr. Who are you looking at?
B
Good for Brian Thomas. They get Brinton Strange back after this week. Oh, yeah.
A
This is good for your Hunter. Long, long shot.
B
Yeah, it is.
A
Look at that, Mike.
B
Man, that is such a buzzkill. But I mean. So anyway, trick.
A
All right, take back everything, Mike. Zero out Travis Hunter.
C
The projections, by the way, four weeks minimum for Hunter, which means he's out for 9, 10, 11, 12. But it could be more than that. Right. We'll just remind people it's four at minimum on Travis Hunter here.
B
All right, that came out of nowhere.
C
I did. Let's try to make things a little bit more pleasant right now.
A
Yes, yes.
C
Gut call here. Don't have like. There's not a lot of great recent evidence to suggest this is possible. Could we get the Raiders offense clicking a little bit this weekend?
A
Yes, please.
C
And Jacoi Myers bouncing back.
B
Yeah, I would like to see that. This could be a big pretty.
C
This is either. Right. This is either as I described my note, this is either a showcase game for teams that want to trade for me by Tuesday or I'm not going anywhere. We have mended the fences and here's a reminder that you better pay me my money this offseason in Las Vegas.
A
Give me my moneys.
C
So positive side, he's fully healthy, no longer dealing with the foot, ankle, knee, whatever it was. He had 21 targets in weeks one and two. Like after week two, it was like fantasy community did it again. We totally overlooked Jacoby Myers in pre draft and preseason discourse and he's just a boring rock solid wide receiver too. Not the case, but I'm hoping that can take place against the Jaguars, who are now down at least one of their top three corners. And Travis Hunter.
B
Yeah, well, I would say he's fourth now, but anyway. By the way, I want to correct something. Brenton Strange. Two more weeks on our. He's only missed two games.
C
You know what, Mike? That's disgusting by Hugh. You're never allowed back.
B
Well, it's. Want to make sure everyone's, you know, everyone's on the right. I'll take the L right.
A
I wish the.
B
You just have to say you're sorry. You know, you have to. You have to. You have to be okay. Apologize.
C
Dude, that is such a bummer. On. I know.
A
That really sucks.
B
I was so pumped to put him in some lineups this week where all systems go, but here we are.
C
All right, Daniel.
A
Well, if you've got Travis Hunter and you need to replace him in your lineup this week, you need to throw a dart.
B
Well done.
A
This guy may be out there on waivers for you to grab back to back games with 16 or more fantasy points. That is Chimeray Dkimarayan.
B
I thought it was gonna be a Giant. I was like, what Giant? Because you said a dart variant. I was like, what giant? Well, he already did Wondale. There's some other giants.
A
Yeah, Chimeray DK has been really good the last two weeks. 4 for 70 and a touchdown two weeks ago for 16.9 fantasy points. Last week, 7 for 93. 16.4 fantasy points. You're seeing that chemistry build with Cam coming out of the bye week where they had obviously the coaching change and trying to figure things out. The hard part with Chimera DK is he basically didn't exist for us in fantasy like prior to the last three weeks. So the sample size is just really small.
C
Yeah, but who else are they throwing the football?
A
And that is the whole thing. So Calvin Ridley did not practice either Wednesday or Thursday.
C
Just counting on him being out. Right.
A
Just going to continue to count on that.
B
I hope, I hope he gets traded, but we'll see. Yeah.
C
And that could Be the thing too, by the way, is like why are we going to put you out there on the field if you're going to get traded?
B
Yeah.
A
He plays in a bad offense which in our scenario is meant to be a good thing. Game script means they should have to throw the ball a ton. He's going to be out there on the field. Field a bunch. So Shimmery DK doesn't feel great because he's in a lower end offense with a not great quarterback. However, last couple weeks have been not too bad. Even though it's a tough matchup against the Chargers, I still think if you needed to throw a dart, he's someone you could throw a dart at.
B
And by the way, he was drafted a few picks before Alec Ao Manor. So they were both fourth round picks this year. And by and Chico Conqua. We didn't mention him. Oh, yeah, he's missing practice. We don't know if he's gonna go. If not, Gunner Helm becomes a name.
C
He does it.
B
Could be a streamer Titan. He's probably the better player there. Very kind of fascinating dynasty tight end right there. Maybe a little bit of a Brenton strange feel to it. Like some. Maybe next year makes a leap forward.
C
So I like Gunner.
B
Don't. Yeah, he is. Oftentimes when those mid round guys start making an impact right away, that's usually a good sign. And they're trying to get him involved for sure.
A
Love that. All right, my friends, let's get into starts of the week where Mike is actually going to bring an accent. Not me. Mike, what accent are you bringing to the table?
B
I thought you guys were going to decide for me.
A
Oh, which accent do we want Mike to be able to do here?
B
Oh, oh, boy. They're whispering. I'm a little concerned about this.
A
We might want it. Yeah, they're.
B
Going to be canceled. This is not good.
A
We have decided.
C
Yeah, we don't want you to get canceled.
A
Yes, we don't want you to cancel. We would like you to do a poor British, potentially Australian, potentially Irish. Just like one of those generic.
B
What?
A
I don't even.
B
What.
A
They're all the same.
C
British slash Australian. If it fades towards Australian, then.
B
Oh my.
C
Would you like a cup of tea?
A
Put another shrimp on the barbie.
B
This is all different things. What am I doing?
C
That was more Australian. Like, would you like. Fancy yourself a cup of tea, Mike? Have you thought about tea, Mike?
A
Do you like gold?
C
One of the finest young lads in all of Atlanta is your starting quarterback this week.
B
Okay. My starting. No, I Can't.
A
You're doing it. You can't say I can't.
B
No, I will do it, but it's gonna be terrible.
C
It's okay, Mike. We're not judging your performance.
B
All right, I would like at the quarterback position. I would love some Jordan Love this week. Okay? I would love Jordan Love, who we talked about earlier in the program. Gentlemen, at the running back position, of course, the Jordan Love will be facing the Carolina Panthers. So I will take the Panthers running back and Rico Dowdle.
A
You're losing it a little bit.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
You gotta just reset.
C
Go off. Mike, it's okay.
A
Okay. Just use it.
C
Wide receiver.
B
Wide receiver.
A
Gentlemen, will be a little softer on the arm.
C
You sound like wide receiver.
B
Terrible.
A
Receive a gentleman.
B
D.J. moore will be.
A
Please, may I have some more?
B
Yeah, I would like a DJ Moore, please.
A
That's great.
B
And then a tight end, I will go with Travis Kelsey because his quarterback has a 6. 7 completion percentage this season.
A
I don't think you can only 67% for. Wait a second. Travis Kelsey's outside the top 10 at the tight end position.
C
I'm surprised by that.
B
Top. Oh, top eight. Isn't a top eight at tight end.
A
It's top ten at the tight end position.
B
I have top eight on the document.
C
Violation.
B
All right. Violation.
C
The code has been violated. You have to play. As a result of this, you now have to play Dallas Clark.
B
Dallas Clark.
A
Honestly, he might still score.
B
Tammy, please. And thanks. All right, I'll pivot to T.J. hawkinson.
C
Okay. Love it.
A
Good pivot.
C
Yeah.
B
The document said eight, so maybe we.
C
Just haven't updated what's rule number one of television.
B
Hawkinson.
C
Don't throw anybody else under the bus.
A
Exactly.
C
You just read the.
B
No, I wrote the document. I mean, I wrote what it said. Okay.
C
All right.
B
It also says, hey, outside the top two, running back. So I'm gonna take Javonte Williams.
A
I want to say that that was not too bad. Mike, you did not. You did a pretty good job of an accent. You really tried hard. You really gotta. You're very subtle.
C
You're.
A
You're a very soft British accent.
B
I couldn't get there.
C
I couldn't get Sam Donald, one of my quarterbacks in all of the NFL. This is more Australian than it is, but I don't have a terrible one, so run it. So my quarterback this week, he's not even punished.
B
He's just doing it. He's just doing it for fun.
C
I don't know. It's kind of fun, isn't it? You want me to stop doing it?
B
Oh, I don't care. I don't care. I'm just really bad.
C
Am I next or are you next?
A
No, you're next.
B
Go ahead.
C
Yeah, I am being told that's sort of Australia meets British. So at quarterback here this week in week nine, Sunday Night Football.
A
That's definitely Australian.
C
Yeah, it's a good clash between these two ferocious foes. Sam Donald, quarterback of the Seattle Whipper snapper Seahawks, is my quarterback. Ed's running back, we talked about him several times throughout this very program. Here, Kareem Hunt, presumptive starting running back for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Buffalo Bills. What a wagon they are at wide receiver. Nice pick there, Mike Clay. DJ Moore. The D stands for definitely going to score some touchdowns. The J stands for I'm not quite sure. More. And a tight end. Fellow teammate, fellow bear. Their ferocious beasts, aren't they? Hey, those Bears, they got them big old paws. Give me tight end. Coast and Loveland. What a matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Some might say they are the pits against tight ends, including when they play Kyle and the Falcons. Cole Comet's probably going to play, but everybody ignore that part.
B
Well done. Good job.
C
Thank you.
B
Way to serve your punishment. Good job. You nailed it.
C
I want to lose again next week.
A
That's not a lineup. This is a lineup. I can't do that very well. All right, so are you ready for this?
C
Yeah. You can do it. Everyone accent wise.
A
By the way, I have one accent and it is an old timey prospector and I apologize for that, guys. So sorry. All right, my start of the week at the quarterback spot field minister Yates is Sam Darnold. My running back is Aaron Jones. And my wide receiver and tight end is both D.J. moore and Colston Loveland Field. And I have three of the four players there. Say that again.
C
It says Quinton Johnston. Did you pivot?
A
Oh, I did pivot.
B
Yes.
A
It is DJ Moore. It is DJ Moore.
C
Oh, okay.
B
We all have DJ Moore.
A
So we all have DJ Moore. I pulled out Quinton Johnston because once I pulled out Thursday night players, he became under the 30% spot.
C
That's integrity.
A
Yeah, that's the thing. I look at the numbers, I read the note, I make sure that I follow the rules. Everyone knows that about me. As a veteran, I like to think that I do have integrity.
C
All right, well done right there.
A
Yes. Great show, guys.
C
Happy Halloween.
A
This was fun. Hey, this is a really good time. Are you guys Using these for your costumes tonight when you go out and do trick or treating when it's 45 degrees.
B
It's gonna be windy, though, so I'm probably not gonna lose these. But the rest, I'll. I'll float away if I.
A
You probably.
B
The rest of it will be worn.
A
I love it.
B
That's a cozy one, though. You have a good one.
C
Yeah. I don't know what I'm gonna do tonight.
A
What time do you usually go out?
C
My kids are getting picked up at 4:00 today.
A
We're going right out.
B
No way. Early on. I don't know.
C
My kids are three and two.
B
Oh, that's a good point.
A
It's like, yeah, you can be done tricking.
C
They're not open. We just go up there and show up. And they're like, oh, at least your kids are cute. You can have some candy.
A
There's nothing wrong with that. Nothing Wr. All right. Today's show was presented by Little Caesars. Thank you so much for hanging out with us. Make sure you come back on Sunday. Watch us on fantasy football, my friends. That's right. We'll see you next week.
C
An entire show next week in this here accent.
A
Don't forget to love each other. Be kind to yourself. We'll see you guys on Sunday. Later. Let us see.
C
For God.
