September 19: Matthew (@MatthewBerryTMR), Jay (@croucherJD), and Connor (@ConnorJRogers) look back on another big game from James Cook and Dalton Kincaid leading the Bills receivers in their win over the Dolphins, then discuss injury updates for Jayden Daniels, Brian Thomas Jr., and Emeka Egbuka. Denny Carter also stops by to highlight “Flexual Frustrations” with Dontayvion Wicks, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Troy Franklin. The trio then analyzes matchups for Chuba Hubbard, George Pickens, and Jameson Williams this week before Jay and Connor pitch Matthew on Jonathan Taylor and Garrett Wilson prop bets.

Matthew Berry
Yeah, but he could be talking about anyone.

Dungeon. Dragon. Come on, Dragon. Come on, dragon. Where'd we go? I thought we had something, you and I. Come on, somebody give us some hope here. Come on, Mr. Dragon. Fantasy football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry.
Connor Rogers
Happy Friday. Welcome to the Fantasy Football Happy Hour. Connor Rogers. Matthew Berry. Jay Croucher. Fellas, we are that close to another weekend of NFL football.
Jay Croucher
It was a tough day for Matthew yesterday. He was right on air.
Matthew Berry
Maybe I'll bounce back.
Connor Rogers
I take the day off. So you do too?
Jay Croucher
Yeah, basically comeback player of the week over here.
Matthew Berry
I think a lot of people think I basically take every day off. I have to address why I'm wearing Josh Jacobs in a Green Bay packers uniform. Before we get started here, I'd love to know Dina. Who? The amazing Dina who works on our wardrobe department. And I told her, like, hey, I'M not going to wear what you. What you put out for me today because I got to wear this. And she goes, why did you lose a bet? And the answer is, yes, I did. The answer is, yes, I did. And so my friend, Leslie Serro. So Leslie and I have been in fantasy leagues for a long time, and she's an avid fantasy player. She's also a die hard packers fan, and she also happens to run marketing for a company called Kellanova, which, among other things, has Pop Tarts and Rice Krispie treats and all sorts of wonderful things. And you have no idea.
Jay Croucher
Rice Krispies.
Matthew Berry
And so. And so we were texting back and forth before the commander's packers game, and she actually went to the game. And. And so, you know, we're like, can we. Should we have a bet here? And she goes, sure. And she goes, I'll give you the three. Remember, the commanders were generous, right? Commanders were three point dogs. And I said, okay, what's the bet? And she says, if the packers win, you have to wear a Packers jersey of my choosing on air. And I'm like, fine, what do I get if I win? And she goes, how about a lifetime supply of Pop Tarts?
Connor Rogers
Oh, you had to take this bet?
Matthew Berry
Of course I had to take the bet. Are you kidding me? I'm like, all my commanders do have to cover the three, and I get Pop Tarts for the rest of my life. Are you kidding me?
Jay Croucher
You should have put 20 grand on the other.
Matthew Berry
I know.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Matthew Berry
That's what I screwed up. That's right. That's a smart bet.
Connor Rogers
That's an elite hedge opportunity.
Matthew Berry
Yes. I screwed that all up. And so anyway, that's what happened.
Connor Rogers
And here's what you are.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
And here's Stuntman Chuck. Too bad that bet didn't include wearing socks. Very good, Chuck.
Matthew Berry
America loves the ankles. But anyway, so congratulations to Leslie and the Packers. I will have to continue to buy my own Pop Tarts. I'm a. I'm a brown sugar cinnamon man. That is. That's my jam. That's the one that I. That's my. That's my go to flavor. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
And now you get to pay for them.
Matthew Berry
Yes, I have to. Exactly. I have to pay for them.
Connor Rogers
Y. I mean, in a Josh Jacobs jersey.
Matthew Berry
In a Josh Jacobs jersey, I may go.
Jay Croucher
There are many worse jerseys that you could cop than Josh Jacobs. Josh Jacobs is a great player. They should have given you the jersey. Who was the packers player who fumbled the kick against the Seahawks like, 11 years ago?
Matthew Berry
It was. It's a tight end. Not your Michael Finley. It was. Oh, God, it's a.
Connor Rogers
It's gonna drive me nuts.
Matthew Berry
This will figure it out. As soon as I hear it, I'll be like, yes, that was the guy. It's a Brandon Bostic. Brandon Bostic. That's Brandon Bostic. Exactly. Yes. They should have got me Brandon Bostic or just like, you know, Don Majowski. You know, like Jeff Janis. Yeah. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
We could have done a lot with this.
Jay Croucher
Oh, Jimmy Graham.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Get weird.
Matthew Berry
Mark Chamurra. Like, you know, packers that have been, you know, in. That have been putting gloves, you know, in ign. You know, ignanimous nanomy. What's the word? Anyway, just, you know. Yeah, just, you know, that have run a fault.
Jay Croucher
Name a cycle.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. So it could have been. Yeah, exactly. Whether it's an obscure Packer, whether it's a bad packer, whether it's a scummy Packer. Like, they could have done like a. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Instead you get Josh Jacobs, which.
Matthew Berry
We like Josh Jacobs, by the way. Players, Josh Jacobs has been on our podcast multiple times. We like Josh Jacobs. We are a pro Josh Jacobs company Show fan group. And yes, we are. Yes. Who at NBC doesn't like Josh?
Connor Rogers
I don't know, but I'm not going to ask everyone.
Matthew Berry
Producers. Steven, get on that. Make sure I can back that statement up. As far as I know, everyone at NBC loves Josh Jacobs. But the other. At least the one other benefit of wearing this jersey, and then we'll move on. Is that because Josh Jacobs is a legitimate fantasy star. Sure. He can go up on the wall. He is wall worthy. He is absolutely wall worthy.
Jay Croucher
Again, like, if we loses Brian Robinson Jr. I don't like B.
Connor Rogers
Rob, but he's in with CJ Stroud down in the basement.
Jay Croucher
Oh, yeah. CJ Stroud might actually have CJ Stroud, too.
Matthew Berry
We got CJ Stroud, Mark Andrews down there. Mark Andrews, Brian Robinson, CJ Stroud. We may have to put up who loses their spot on the wall. We also have. We also have two Kelsey's. As much as we love Kelsey, we may not need to go double Kelsey.
Jay Croucher
Travis Hunter might be in a bit of a. Stop it.
Matthew Berry
Stop it. Not before C.J. stroud, Brian Robinson. Brian Robinson's backing up McCaffrey. That's what we should do. We have a McCaffrey jersey. We should put Brian Robinson, like, just.
Connor Rogers
Behind the jersey because you know it's coming.
Matthew Berry
It's an insurance. It's an insurance jersey. Basically, it's a backup jersey. That's what we'll do with Brian Robinson. So maybe Jacobs will replace CJ Stroud or Mark Andrews. But anyway, congratulations, Leslie. I'm honoring my bet. Let's get to week three.
Connor Rogers
Saved her a lot of shipping, too, on Pop Tarts. Let's get to week three.
Matthew Berry
But I, like, every six weeks, a new shipment.
Connor Rogers
I'm more curious of the process. Like, do you fill out a Google form each week and then it shows up at your house? I think it's maybe one strawberry this week.
Jay Croucher
I think it's like how Kramer gets the lifetime supply of coffee and then he has to go into the store with the paper and no one actually believes.
Connor Rogers
Right?
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I think it's like that kind of operation.
Matthew Berry
No, I. I've gotten this deal with an energy drink. I will say, but, like, no, like, this is a true story. Like, five or six years ago, there was a fan of mine that was the, like the vice president of marketing at a very well known energy drink, Mr. Bull. And I'm not gonna say who it is, but you may or may not. You're probably pretty close. The Bull is yours at any rate. And he just said, do you want me to send you some? And I said, yeah, sure, man. You know, happy to. And somehow I got on this list and like, literally every six weeks, three cases would show up for years.
Connor Rogers
Eventually you run out of storage for years.
Matthew Berry
Eventually he left it.
Connor Rogers
You're a Diet Coke, man.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, some. Somewhere. Somewhere along discovered it and like the list. But literally, like four years where like every three weeks I would get, like, case upon case of this energy drink.
Connor Rogers
I'm laughing because in the back, Stephen is just losing hope in the show. He's asked for us to recap Thursday Night football, you know, 20 different times. So let's get right into it. We did have a good game last night. Despite a 12 and a half point spread, the Dolphins did their best to really keep things interesting into the fourth quarter. Plenty of notable fantasy point scorers, including Dalton Kincaid's best fantasy performance of his career with 17.6 points. Josh Allen does what Josh Allen does after a slow week two for Josh Allen in fantasy, James Cook keeps this going. Before we get to any of these, any of this guys, we got to hear from Josh Allen on James Cook's success so far this season after a great 2024 season. I mean, to me, it's the same James Cook.
Jay Croucher
The guy just attacks every time he touches the ball.
Connor Rogers
He looks like he's been shy out of a cannon every time he touches it, you know, he's so fun to play with once the ball ultimate competitor. You know, there's times where I'm, you know, I toss it to him, hand.
Jay Croucher
It off to him and I'm just.
Connor Rogers
Already put my hands up because I.
Jay Croucher
Feel like he's, he's about to crib it.
Connor Rogers
And there's two that were real close tonight. Real close. And he'll tell you that too. But you know, he's, he's been such.
Jay Croucher
A catalyst for, for our offense. Special player.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, he. They are letting James Cook the shocking thing to me, the concern in the preseason, does he get enough work? Well, he's now had 22 touches in back to back games. It's the first time in consecutive games in his career that he's had at least 22 touches, seven consecutive games now with at least one rushing touchdown dating back to last season. He's also had 10 in the last 11. That was the concern coming in the preseason and I will raise my hand. Through three games I have completely whipped. James Cook is my biggest whiff of the preseason. Like just didn't think he would get all the touchdown equity that he's getting right now. Didn't think he would get the usage that he's getting. He's just getting massive workload. And for a guy that held out most at camp, like we usually see them ramp up slow and sometimes they have injuries like Connor, he looks better than I've ever seen him look before. Again, mea culpa on this one.
Connor Rogers
I think he's running harder than he ever has before. Coming out of college he was kind of this outside zone. You look at him as more of, maybe even a different version, but kind of similar to his brother as well. And now he's kind of looked at the Bills. The Bills could play volleyball like when their offensive line is rolling and Jackson Hawes is now the blocking tight end. But they use him as their sixth offensive lineman that they used to do last year with actually six offensive linemen. He can get downhill and run through contact. So James Cook looks better than ever in my opinion.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I mean when the Bills transitioned to this strobe ready offense, the big change was like no more superhero cape for Josh Allen. Play in, play out. They are, they are a run the football type of team. They sit in the middle of the pack in terms of pass rate over expectation, which is a rarity when you have a quarterback as good as Josh Allen. But they want to be able to protect Josh and get him in advantageous situations. And so to me, one of the strangest quirks about this season is that the Bills schedule is just comically easy. Like they are going to be at least five point favorites in every single game until week 17 home to the Eagles. Outside of they play Kansas City at home, that's the only one three point favorite. Even like the next hardest game for them in the next four months is like at Houston. Like, like five point favorites there. The detections aren't good at the moment.
Connor Rogers
Go to a touchdown.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
So yeah, I think that they're just going to be in these game scripts. They're also like this team is playing for the Super Bowl. Like Josh Allen doesn't need to put up big stats passing wise in the regular season. I think James Cook is going to keep doing this.
Matthew Berry
He won his. He won his mvp. Right now he's the second best running back in fantasy. Only Chris McCaffrey is averaging more fantasy points per game. Would you try to sell high? Do you think this is sustainable throughout the season for James Cook? I think given the schedule and their, the run balance nature of their team, I think it kind of is. Yeah, it's part of the. I've done a 180 on James Cook, man. I was, I was. You know, I just kind of own it. You, you see that schedule there? I don't think we need to talk about anything with Josh Allen. He's a stud. You know it. The only thing that's notable here is that he attempted 28 pass attempts which is under 29 and a half. So that cash is my bet from last night.
Connor Rogers
Jay, your.
Matthew Berry
Your bet cashed as well.
Jay Croucher
Did HN get there?
Matthew Berry
I thought he did. No, HN got there.
Jay Croucher
Did he?
Matthew Berry
Yes, HN got there on your bet. Lawrence's bet of 70 yards for Tyreek Hill at plus money that did not cash. So we were two for three last night.
Connor Rogers
Shout out to Fantasy Life. One bet that I did place before because of them. Ray Davis became a popular prop throughout the week because of the script. Everyone's like, the Bills are going to be blowing him out. He'll get carries. They liked him under 26 and a half. I followed that one. He wasn't involved at all because they just keep handing the ball to James Cook and Ty Johnson gets a little involvement. So shout out to Fantasy Life for a great projection on that one.
Matthew Berry
Fantasy Life has a tool that if you bet on sports, Fantasy Life has a tool where they take our projections. We have great projections from Duane McFarland and, and basically looks through every prop from every book. You know, we default to DraftKings because we're a DraftKings company. But, you know, whatever book you like to play at it all, you can. You can choose your book, you can choose your game, you can choose your player. Just like, hey, here's all the. Here's all the projections and here's where we bet over or under. Here's what we think the biggest edge is. Here's what we think the biggest opportunity is. Dalton Kincaid, we have to talk about here, guys. For the second straight game, he leads the team in targets. He now has three end zone targets of the season, which is a team high. So fix it. Fire wants to know. All right, I have cooked Genty Taylor and Connor at running back. I need a wide receiver. Who would you trade? Who would you target? I think I would trade James Conner and I think I would rank those guys. Cook, Taylor, Genty, Carner.
Jay Croucher
I'd have Tyler one.
Connor Rogers
I have Taylor one as well.
Jay Croucher
Tyler doesn't come off the field.
Matthew Berry
I know he does. I know he doesn't. But Daniel Jones sort of sneaks and there's like more, a little bit more injury risk with him that I feel.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I think Jonathan Taylor, the thing is, with his injury history, he got his like, leg caught twice for two high ankle sprains in separate years and then he tore a ligament in his thumb. So was he actually that injury prone or did he just get just unlucky? And there was one year like he held out coming into the season. People like think like, oh, he was. No, he held out for a month. So I don't know Jonathan Taylor until, I mean, his entire career till that the first injury, he was very healthy. I just think with like, Taylor has the highest rushing prop of any player in the NFL this week.
Connor Rogers
So the line looks good too. Yeah.
Jay Croucher
And Jonathan at the highest speed that anyone has hit in the history of the NFL in the next gen stats era on the weekend. So I don't know. I think that Taylor has a chance to be like RB1 for the season. So I think that Cook, I mean, yes, he's been amazing and I think it's going to continue to some extent, but I still think like it's three weeks. I still think you need to regress a little bit to preseason expectations just a little bit. Whereas with Taylor, I'm just fully bought in there. I wonder with Genti, I think a.
Matthew Berry
Top 20, by the way, it depends on. It's all about how you market it. Fix it, Fire. But just answer you, like, hard to say, like, who would you who would you. I would trade Connor. Of those four running backs, Connor is the one that I would trade and you know, try to get the best wide receiver you can. I don't know if it's a 10 team league, 12 team league. You're playing three wide receivers, two wide receivers. I don't know the, the value of a wide receiver in your league, in your format, is it ppr, half ppr, et cetera. But Connor is who you should trade.
Jay Croucher
And would you trade if like given he's so loaded at running back, would you trade if like a Devonte Smith type of. That type of player?
Matthew Berry
I think it's a, I think It's a top 20 guy. By the way, if you can get a superstar for one of. Because you're so loaded at running back, you can. I don't mind trading any one of those guys to get the best player available as well. I want to get back to Dalton Kincaid, Howe the only concern here. So my question is how much do we buy? This Dalton Kincaid is somebody that I talked about in the offseason. I spoke with a Bills offensive coaching staff member at the combine where I said what happened to Dalton Kincaid last year? Like dude, he was hurt the entire year. This year he's going to be fully healthy. Watch out for Dalton Kincaid. And I wrote that on my combine column and talked about in the preseason. On the season, He's a top six fantasy tight end. He's averaging over 13 fantasy points per game. But there's one concern here, guys. His route participation is just 60% which is 27th at the position. Like among all tight ends, he is 27th in route participation. That said, when he's out there, it seems like Josh Allen is looking for him. Second straight game, as I said, second straight game for Duncan Cade where he led the Bills and targets.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I think the good thing with Kincaidis o' Connor is that he just looks more explosive, he looks more spry. Last year he looked frankly more like a tight end. Whereas in his rookie year, you know, this guy is more like a effectively a receiver at tight end with that type. They spent a first round pick on him and he's looking like it so far in terms of the talent.
Matthew Berry
And you like that.
Connor Rogers
They threw him a screen that worked out really well. So there's design touches for him. I think the counter is. They love their other two tight ends as blockers in Jackson Hawes and Dalton Knox where that takes Dalton Kincaid off the field at times. So you like the Bills. The thing is the Bills are going to be in high scoring games. So he's going to have the opportunity where you don't really worry about it too much.
Matthew Berry
Let's move over to the Dolphins now and just. It was talk to me in my ear, by the way. HN actually did not get there, so I apologize.
Jay Croucher
I saw that he had nine targets and wasn't tracked, so I was very upset.
Matthew Berry
The weird part is just usually what happens is just behind the scenes here after we do our bets. Like on any primetime game, I always feel like I should bet. Like I'm not a guy that, like, you know, gives it out. I always bet whatever I say and I try to then, like, I'll individual. I usually individually bet when we do. Like, for what? For Monday night or for anything. So I put money on your. On yours, on Lawrence's, and then I threw them all into a parlay and at least I did. So my H and bet on DraftKings cash last. So I must have said, yeah, he went over.
Jay Croucher
He had seven catches.
Matthew Berry
Right. So I must. Yeah. So maybe I misunderstood what your bet was. But hopefully my H hand bet cash.
Connor Rogers
Talking up is a win.
Matthew Berry
So it's just right. So anyway, there you go. So anyway, apologies there. So let's move on to the Dolphins. Connor, take control of the show, please.
Connor Rogers
I mean, a little news or noise here. Ali Gordon, kind of the story for the Dolphins last night in terms of involvement, just a totally different runner than Achan. I think the question here is Matthew, if he's going to continue to get more involved in this offense. We got to hear from Gordon after the game on just the amount of touches he got against the Bills. It felt really good, honestly, just to show my teammates, my coaches, that, you know, they could trust me whenever we in the heat of the moment and, you know, when stuff gets serious. So, you know, it felt good getting in there, being able to play with them. You know, it was really just making them stop the run.
Matthew Berry
You know, our linemen were getting on.
Connor Rogers
Their blocks, our running backs were getting downhill, and that's. That's really what it takes, you know, and once they try to stop the run, everything else opens up. So I feel like that's what helped us a lot. Ali Gordon gets the touchdown last night. Obviously a much bigger back. And we laughed when Tyreek Hill kind of said this about them being in third and short in the goal line and take a chan off the field. Well, I get the snap rate is low there, Matthew, but Gordon's role to me is very, very clear when they Need a hard in between the tackles runner.
Matthew Berry
There's no question about it. He got 60% of the red zone rushes, 67% of their goal to go opportunities and I think, I think that will only continue. He converts the touchdown early in the game. I think the challenge here though is do I think the role increases, do I think he's special, do I think everyone that he needs to be 100% rostered? Yes, because if you have HN, you need Ollie Gordon. I just don't know that he has a lot of standalone value because he's going to be if he doesn't score a touchdown, he's not involved in the passing game. I don't know if he's getting enough work in the run game where you feel good about it. So he's very touchdown dependent. And honestly, like, look, the Dolphins were better last night than they have been, but how much do you feel like the Dolphins this year are going to be in neutral or positive games where they're able to run? And I just don't have a great sense of that.
Jay Croucher
To me, Ollie Gordon, he's Braylon Allen. Like he's stuck behind a number one guy who gets a lot of pass catching work as well. And I just don't think you're ever going to start Ollie Gordon unless Devon Hn is hurt.
Matthew Berry
Yep.
Connor Rogers
Does A Chan's receiving involvement keep him viable? Even if Gordon ramps up, that's from Joseph Fiskel for sure. Yeah, of course. I mean you're not. This is no way a panic mode about A Chan.
Matthew Berry
I mean again, so far on the season, Devon HN has a 27% target share. Like that's an elite wide receiver kind of target share for a running back. That's Alvin Kamara Ash.
Jay Croucher
Well, that's what I was going to say, like the past decade, like he was set at. He ended up closing at 42 and a half receiving yards. Devon HN, which is like the same range as like Travis Hunter said. So I just think that like outside of Kamara, I can't remember running back Even like Christian McCaffrey doesn't get set that high even at his peak. So yeah, I think A Chan, like he's just locked in RB1 until further notice or if he gets hurt.
Matthew Berry
75% of Achan's points this year have come as a receiver. So absolutely, I'm not worried about that role moving away.
Connor Rogers
Let's get into some injuries we're tracking going into the weekend because there's a lot to get through here. Guys. Jaden Daniels with that knee not spotted at practice today. Brock Purdy more notably is the toe injury. He was limited on Thursday. His receiver Juwan Jennings, by the way, did not practice on Thursday. Jennings is banged up ankle and shoulder right now. So Josh Jacobs shows up with the ankle. Zach Charbonnet with a foot he could potentially miss this week. Jacksonville dealing with a couple injuries at the skill group.
Matthew Berry
Space.
Connor Rogers
Shaw Toon with his shoulder. Ryan Thomas with the run wrist injury. Xavier Worthy, we know he's trying to come back with his upper body injuries. Well, Emeka Ebuka is back at practice today. He did not practice Wednesday. He did not practice Thursday. So that is a very positive sign for the bucs. They have 95 different injuries. Tucker Kraft, we had a little bit of a scare there yesterday, but it sounds like everything has come back clean. So a lot here, I think. Matthew, we start with Jaden Daniels, of course. Yeah. And you know, we got to hear from Cliff Kingsbury just on his status this week. Keep in mind this was before he was not spotted at practice today.
Matthew Berry
He's just preparing mentally. You know, Marcus is getting the reps physically. Jaden preparing mentally and we'll take it from there.
Connor Rogers
You know, if Marcus does is able to play or is the one that you have to start this week, what gives you confidence in him and his.
Matthew Berry
Ability to execute your offense? Yeah, last year, just being around him for a year, when we signed him back, we felt like we have two starters in the building, which is rare in this league. So anytime he's asked to play or practice or even on scout team, he's been phenomenal. So treats like a pro as a leader on the team despite, you know, not being the starter, which is hard to do and can't say enough good things about him.
Connor Rogers
So if he has to go, I'm.
Matthew Berry
Sure he'll be ready.
Connor Rogers
This is from Adam Schefter. Commander's quarterback Jaden Daniel has not been spotted at practice today, signaling that it's unlikely he'll be recovered from his knee sprain in time to start Sunday's game versus the Raiders. Marcus Mariota is in line to start versus former team Cliff Kingsbury, a very.
Jay Croucher
Kotow type of vibe where he spent his kind of year off after the Cardinals very laid back. I like as well his phrasing where mentally it's Jayn Daniels, but physically it's Marcus Mariota. The physical vessel of Marcus Mariota is taking the steps physically, but mentally it's the brain of Jayden Daniels. This is interesting.
Matthew Berry
I actually forgot Marcus Mariota played for the Raiders revenge game.
Connor Rogers
He's had a few stops.
Matthew Berry
He's had a few stops. Yeah.
Jay Croucher
How are you feeling, Matthew?
Matthew Berry
I feel okay, honestly. The fact of the matter is Marcus Martiota played for Jaden Daniels two different times last year. Right. Week seven against Carolina, week 18 at Dallas when the team had sort of clenched and he was good in both games. Right. So the Panthers game over 200 passing yards, two touchdowns, 34 rushing yards. He finished his QB8 that week with over 19 fantasy points. That game against Dallas in week 18, again it's a week 18 game, but still 161. Two touchdowns, 56 rushing yards and a touchdown. I believe Daniels played like the first series maybe in that game, I could be wrong on that one. But he finished that week as QB6. So he's got. He started twice last year in this offense and he was a top eight quarterback each week. Again, I do think the Raiders are tougher to run against than they are to throw against. Commanders have had since last Thursday against the packers when they lost. They've had 10 days to prepare for a home game against the Raiders. Whereas the Raiders were the late game on Monday night. So they're traveling on a short week. I think that of the, of the quarterbacks of the. Of the Mac Jones and the Tyrod Taylors, of the, of the Carson Wentz's, of the world of the replacement quarterbacks out there, I think Marcus Mariota is the number one guy.
Jay Croucher
You take over Jake Browning, huh?
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I would take him over Jake Browning just because the matchup like Minnesota is a little tougher long. If I don't want to put this into the universe over a longer stretch of period, I would, I think I would prefer Mariota to. I'm sorry, I would prefer Browning to Mariota just because the weapons Browning have. But this week I prefer Mariota and the matchup to Browning against the Vikings because I, I think Brian Flores brings the heat on, you know.
Connor Rogers
Yeah. I mean his pressure schemes are unbelievable. They are a very aggressive defense and the schedule's not going to get any easier after that. We got a question here. This one from Craig Gainier. Hello. The jailer, the conler and the ankler.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, the anchor is pretty good. Ankler is pretty good.
Connor Rogers
Craig, if Daniels stick is out, how does that affect Bill start JCM or Trayvon Henderson in that? I don't know. It's tough to start Travion this week.
Matthew Berry
Exactly. That's the point. I mean you had, you had me at. Or Henderson. So the Answer here is Jaqui Crosby merit. I don't think it affects Bill at all. They're still going to run the offense they run now. It's a tough matchup. Again we've talked about this, the Raiders top five run defense so far in the season and he's not going to get the majority of the work like he's going to get. I think he gets more work than Jeremy McNichols or Chris Rodriguez, but he's not going to get all of the work is probably a better way to say it. It is going to be a three headed committee that JCM will be at the head of. But I, you know, so I mean he's a, he's a low end Flex play for me, Crosky, Merritt, but I do have him ranked higher than Travian Henderson and going from Daniels to Mariota does not change that for me. Maybe they lean on him a little bit more but they have full confidence in Mariota there as we mentioned.
Connor Rogers
Guys, keep an eye on the Niners today. We're going to find out more on this Friday session. Brock Purdy Ltd. On Thursday, maybe you can give it a go. Juwan Jennings would be great to see him get a practice in on Friday. Jacksonville is a very interesting situation right now because Brian Thomas Jr. Was downgraded on Thursday. You never like to see the late week downgrade. He was downgraded to limited. This is a wrist injury. Trevor Lawrence spoke on the slow start between him and the superstar wide receiver.
Jay Croucher
It just, it doesn't always go perfect. You know, obviously we would have loved.
Connor Rogers
To start off hot these first two games and our connection be, you know, ripping and me finding him everywhere and him having a great year and all those things. But I mean we're in week two.
Jay Croucher
Everybody, so I think we can all just take a deep breath, give BT a little space. You know he's going to be just fine.
Connor Rogers
Not worried about him at all. Just something we got to continue to work at and you know we're going.
Jay Croucher
To have a good plan for him each week to be involved and he's too good of a player to not, you know, be involved and make those plays down the field that we all know he can make.
Connor Rogers
Not a great start for Brian Thomas Jr. Who had massive expectations. And the craziest part is here, Jay, that targets are there, the production is not.
Jay Croucher
This offense. Just even though they put up some volume numbers against the Bengals, it just doesn't feel like it's clicking at the moment, which is okay. It's like week Two in a new system, new offensive play caller and Liam Cohen. But Trevor Lawrence hasn't looked good so far and he's missed Brian Thomas jr. He's missed Travis Hunter on a lot of balls, too. I think this is going to get better. I would buy the dip on Brian Thomas Jr. For sure, but it's. It's not something you can really count on for now. I think if he plays, you still have to start it. That's what else you do.
Matthew Berry
I mean. Right. Exactly. And they're playing Houston, which you don't love the matchup there. Texans a very good defense. But still, I agree with you.
Jay Croucher
Like spend a second round pick on Brian Thomas. Week three. You got to.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. I mean, depending on what your options are. I can't. I can't imagine a scenario where you're Benching Brian Thomas Jr. Real quickly. Bleacher Nation app just throws a couple of quick alerts. Commander's head coach Dan Quinn says quarterback Jaden Daniels was limited today. So they're going to start Marcus Moriota against. Against the Raiders. And Jaden Daniels officially will be out on Sunday. So that has happened. Chris Godwin, Tristan Wurfs officially ruled out by Todd Bowles and Emeka Bucha will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. So there you go. Officially, there's official designations as to what we thought was going to happen, but we're saying those are now official designations.
Connor Rogers
Another one that we did just get some more news on as we have a question here before we move to Tucker Kraft. This one is from J. Stabs. Is Brian Thomas still a buy while he's struggling? This is always relative.
Matthew Berry
Just her Jay say buy the dip. Yes.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Right.
Jay Croucher
So it depends obviously what you're trading for.
Connor Rogers
I'm trading Jonathan Taylor for him.
Jay Croucher
Yes. I'd be trade. Like we got a question before about like James Connor. Like I would trade James Connor for Brian Thompson. I'd rather have Brian Thomas Jr. Because of the upside. They still have to regress the talent. Guy was like third in the NFL and receiving yards last year as a rookie. Like I think that there is. It's going to be okay. Brian Thomas jr. Might just be some growing pines in this new skin.
Connor Rogers
Let me throw a wild one at you. Trade Ashton Genty for Brian Thomas Jr.
Matthew Berry
I would not.
Jay Croucher
I'd rather Genti Genti.
Connor Rogers
Me too. The Raiders are. They're going to get the run going.
Matthew Berry
They will.
Jay Croucher
And the running back I might like. I mean, I was probably going to get going, but. And people, everyone will be like, don't trade Ash and Genti now. The value can only go up. There's still some shine on Ashton. We immediately was like, no, you can't trade him for Brian Thomas Jr. Like, I don't know, like, if I could.
Matthew Berry
Trade, it's not a crazy question for sure.
Jay Croucher
I think I'd rather have James Cook than Ashton Genty for sure and rather have Jonathan Taylor than Ashton Genty.
Matthew Berry
But the way I always, when you get questions like that, the way I just, just a quick sort of mental exercise is I was like, okay, if we were drafting today, if we had to draft for the rest of the season, who goes first, Genti or Thomas? And I would argue that Genti, if we, if we literally did a draft today for the rest of the season, you can do that on guillotineleagues.com by the way, like they're drafted every single week. You know, in a draft today you would draft Genty over Brian Thomas Jr. But you would also draft Jonathan Taylor and James Cook over Genty. So yeah, it's just like where, just in your mind, like, who would you rather have for the rest of the season? So there you go.
Connor Rogers
Bit of a Tucker Kraft roller coaster the last 24 hours. He injured his knee in Thursday's practice.
Matthew Berry
The Craftler.
Connor Rogers
The Craftler. The Tuckler.
Jay Croucher
Tuck Daddy.
Matthew Berry
That too.
Connor Rogers
Ian Rapoport said it's not believed to be a long term issue. Adam Schefter reported that he's believed to be all good. We got to hear from Matt Lafleur. Actually just a couple minutes ago he said he, he doesn't believe he'll go on IR after suffering a knee injury. His game status against the Browns, he's got to feel confident and be cleared at the same time. He didn't do anything at practice today. I would have a backup plan for Tucker Craft this week. I think you'll be okay after this weekend, but I would. It doesn't. It seems like a longer shot at the moment. And why push it?
Matthew Berry
Why push it? You don't need to.
Connor Rogers
You're too.
Matthew Berry
What's the game that you're playing?
Jay Croucher
Jeff Flacco.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Automatic win.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. I mean you feel good if you're the packers in Matt LaFleur. You feel good about where you are and given the long term aspirations of Green Bay, you expect them. They're going to be, you know, very careful with Tucker Graft. This is a team that wants to be playing in San Francisco in the super bowl at the end of the year. The last thing I'll just say here is that fantasy football. Fantasy football Pregame, Sunday morning, 11am Eastern, all the way until kickoff right here on Peacock and YouTube. We will get you set. We will give you all the tight ends that are out there. We'll have all the latest injury updates.
Connor Rogers
So the Harlem Globetrotters of words.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I mean, like, it's been a long week. I really missed a Packers jersey. Yeah. For those have no pop Tarts. It's like, whatever.
Jay Croucher
Life's tough for the regulars as well. When Matthew said, oh, great. In response to the Matt LaFleur, speaking of tok Groff, Matthew thought there was sound.
Matthew Berry
Yes. I thought we had. There is no thought.
Jay Croucher
There is no sound.
Matthew Berry
That's true. I thought producer Steven had been Johnny on the sp and like, that'd be a quick turnaround.
Connor Rogers
I'll give Stephen that.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, you. You said, oh, we just heard from Matt LaFleur. And I'm like, oh, that must mean we have sound.
Connor Rogers
When I say we have heard, it's me on Twitter watching his press conference.
Matthew Berry
Okay, got it.
Connor Rogers
So we brought up a mecca of.
Matthew Berry
Connor watching the press conference.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, it's right here.
Jay Croucher
Scrolling Twitter during the show.
Connor Rogers
Keeping you two idiots up to date on everything.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, that's fair.
Connor Rogers
All right. Michael Buca. He did get some work in today after missing two practices. He will be questionable. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports. A week four return for Chris Godwin feels like a real possibility. Godwin and Tristan Wurfs have been doing some stuff at practice. They're not going to play this week, but it's good to see them back out on the field. And back to Ashton Gente here, guys. Pete Carroll did comment on Genti. He said he would like to get him around 20 carries a game. And Ashton Gente said he's very aware that the Raiders are going to get him going and get him the ball more.
Matthew Berry
Oh, now we have Sam.
Connor Rogers
I don't think you draft a guy like me tonight. Give me, you know, carries and touches and, you know, I'm ready for the responsibility. And, you know, like I said, you know, it's going to start with me and, you know, in the run game and I got to continue to get better. There's a learning curve to the NFL for, you know, every single rookie that comes in. I mean, I think it's really rare that a guy comes in and just flat out balling off the rip. So I'm not, you know, feeling no.
Jay Croucher
Type of way towards it.
Connor Rogers
I just, like I said, I need to get better and you know, the big time performances that, you know, everybody might be expecting, I mean, those will come, but, you know, it's just about consistency. Ash and Genty through two weeks. Not what fantasy managers were hoping for, but keep the faith. He's too good.
Matthew Berry
I completely agree. Also, it's just, it's too early to bail on somebody that you spent that much draft capital on. Is healthy. Was healthy. And so, yeah, I mean, just weird game against the Chargers, but they're going to get that fixed out fixed. And by the way, we've seen this before. Rookie running backs sometimes take a little while to get going. We talked earlier in the week about Amar' E and Hampton as well. Like, I would buy low, I would buy the dip on Ashton Gente, and I'm still hanging tough with Amarian Hampton.
Connor Rogers
Think of every single rookie running back right now because Hampton and Gentee get a lot of the spotlight. R.J. harvey, Treveon Henderson. Oh, I mean, it's been, it's been rough for the most part.
Matthew Berry
The only one that's actually working is Jakkori Krosky.
Connor Rogers
Merritt. Right.
Jay Croucher
Which is Quinton Judkins was better. Last of us.
Connor Rogers
Judkins is coming. Yeah, he's coming.
Matthew Berry
Caleb Johnson.
Connor Rogers
I mean, he's on kick return team.
Matthew Berry
It's ridiculous, right? Exactly.
Jay Croucher
Now, to be fair, Caleb Johnson did determine the outcome of that game by not understanding the rules in the end zone. Literally cost them all.
Matthew Berry
He did. It just, it takes a little bit time. It'll, it'll get there.
Connor Rogers
A lot of frustrations in the fantasy world right now, but as we do every Friday, we bring on a doctor to solve them.
Matthew Berry
Yes, he writes, dear Matthew, my girlfriend wants me to try booty this weekend. I've seen and heard good things about booty, but I'm nervous. So, Dr. Carter, how experimental should I be this week with booty? That's Keyshawn Booty.
Jay Croucher
Of course.
Connor Rogers
That's right.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Look, I know many of you out there in the listening audience and the viewing audience are booty curious after, you know, last week's performance from Keisha Booty, where he caught six of eight targets for 103 yards against the Raiders. If you're gonna commit to booty, you gotta commit to booty. You know what I mean?
Matthew Berry
Fair enough.
Connor Rogers
Frustrations with Dr. Denny Carter. Hello, Dr. Denny. Welcome back.
Matthew Berry
Hey, guys.
Connor Rogers
You know you committed to booty and you got a touchdown out of it. I don't want to hear any complaining about that.
Matthew Berry
No, no, no. I, I, I got a note saying thank you. Their first experience with booty was. Was pleasant.
Connor Rogers
You got a score.
Matthew Berry
They've added it to their repertoire.
Connor Rogers
That's right.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
No, you're in the.
Matthew Berry
Am I starting it up?
Connor Rogers
I thought the man in the packers jersey would have some. Don t. The hell's wrong with you today? Thank you for saying, honestly, I can't do everything.
Matthew Berry
I can't. I apologize. I keep forgetting. Keep forgetting, Denny, that I'm supposed to carry this whole damn thing. All right, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's quite all right. I did get another email. It says, dear Matthew, my girlfriend and I. This girl and I have just started dating. We have just started dating and things are progressing nicely. But the other night she asked me. She asked me if she could look at my Wicks. At my Dontavian Wicks. He wasn't on my roster. And so my question is, is that. Should I. Should I. Should I do that? Should I go get Dontavian and show my girlfriend my Wicks?
Connor Rogers
Should you show the Wicks?
Matthew Berry
Yeah, in my lineup? Of course.
Connor Rogers
I think you should. We're talking about, you know, a guy in Wix who's going to see a lot more opportunity with Jaden Reed out of the lineup. Look, I just want to be clear with folks here. Some folks like to be humiliated. And that's okay. That's okay. And that's why you go get the drop prone, mistake prone, Don Tavian Wicks and you plug him into your flex because he could have a big day with Jaden Reed out. Okay. Humiliation is okay sometimes. Last week against Washington, after Reed left the game, he ran 70% of the routes. He saw 30% of the team's air yards, 20% of the targets. Against Washington, he was targeted on a team high, 27% of his past routes. I liked Antavian Wicks as a high variance play. You need to get the Wicks. Get the Wicks into your lineup and show it to everybody.
Matthew Berry
Honestly.
Jay Croucher
Okay. Yeah, that makes sense. All right, Danny, back in week one, I spoke to you about my performance issues with Wondale Robinson with the lights on. Because it was absolutely terrifying back in week one. But having seen him up close in Dallas on the weekend, Denny, he looked real and he looked spectacular. You starting Wondell Robinson this week.
Connor Rogers
He did. Jay, listen, I want to issue an apology to you and the listening audience for shaming you about Wandell Robinson. Listen, since that time, since week one, I've gone back to school, I've earned another degree. And I've learned. I've learned that I was Wrong. And I was, I was wrong and I'm sorry. You know, last week against Dallas, he goes eight for 10. Eight. I'm sorry, eight catches on 10 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown. He. He now ranks seventh guys in both wide out receiving yards and wide out receptions. I don't really understand what's going on. But no one, no one should have shame about playing Wanda Robinson in week three against Kansas City. I don't understand what's going on. It's a great, great quote for your real Denny. You know, it's not often recommended.
Matthew Berry
Do you have a flexible frustration as well?
Connor Rogers
Yeah, I have one for him right now. I'm teeing up. Yeah, I got one for you started.
Jay Croucher
Going into it before you cut it off.
Connor Rogers
Denny, it's not recommended to, you know, rekindle things with a college fling, but it seems like Troy Franklin and Bo Nix are doing that. Do you recommend this? Should they keep it going or leave the good times behind? You know what, Connor, that's a much better angle than I had. So let's go with it. Yes, sometimes, sometimes it's good to connect with, with an old college flame, with the whole old high school flame, whatever it is, and, and get back with them and see if you can work it out. And you know what? Also folks, you gotta, you gotta remember we gotta be vulnerable. We gotta put our hearts on the line. And that's what we're doing this week with the, the usage rug for, for Troy Franklin that could be yanked out from under us at any moment by Sean Payton who uses his receivers in weird ways. But yes, he had a great game against the Colts last week. A touchdown and 89 yards. He has 15 targets through two games. He's running about 75% of the routes in this offense. I think he is worthy of a flex spot in 12 team leagues at worst. Do you have more flexual frustrations for Denny? He will be doing a Q and A right after our show. That is 1:00pm, of course, on the NFL NBC YouTube channel. Denny, thank you as always. Thanks guys.
Matthew Berry
Thanks, Dr. Cotter.
Jay Croucher
Unbelievable hair in this photo. Yeah, troubling. Looks like a wig. To be honest.
Connor Rogers
It looks a little fake.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I don't know what that is at all.
Connor Rogers
We're taking our first break. When we're back, you guys continue to ask the big questions. We hopefully deliver the right answers. What's on tap for the weekend right after this?
Matthew Berry

Contiguous U.S. only Sunday night, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs take a road trip to New York, where they face the Giants in a primetime showdown Sunday 70 on NBC. And Peacock.
Matthew Berry
Somebody has to win and somebody will. Now I want a lot of people wondering, hey, who drinks free today? And we are a show, Jay. We are a show. Connor, you know this as well. We are a show that celebrates champions. You think about me and in the league of assholes, back to back champions as well. So I just want to take a moment here to let everyone know very excitingly that Todd Zeal won an Emmy last night for his second congrats.
Jay Croucher
I'm going to stand back to back.
Matthew Berry
Two time emmy winner Todd Zeal.
Jay Croucher
Todd Zeal, one of the greats for free.
Matthew Berry
One of the greats.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, One of the greats.
Matthew Berry
One of the all time greats.
Jay Croucher
It's like watching Brady in his prime.
Matthew Berry
Yes.
Connor Rogers
Just sweeping the Emmys every year.
Matthew Berry
We love you, Todd Zeal. You're a legend. It's worth noting that our own Connor Rodgers is a back to back loser.
Connor Rogers
That's right. No, I'm not. I wasn't nominated last year. Don't give me that much credit.
Matthew Berry
It's tough.
Connor Rogers
So once again, yes, I've lost the Todd twice now.
Matthew Berry
Yes, exactly.
Connor Rogers
I am officially. I'm officially Josh Allen.
Matthew Berry
Can't get over the hump. He's your Mahomes.
Connor Rogers
He is officially my Patrick Mahomes.
Jay Croucher
It's difficult because when I think of baseball, I think Ohtani, Judge Zeal. Yeah, those are three. It's very hard to crack. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
What are you going to do? The good thing is this year I didn't go and sit through 10 hours.
Matthew Berry
I'm going to find out I lost. Do you think at some point, I don't know, this might be too old a reference for you, but there was an old show on NBC called Night Court and there was an actor on the show called John named John Larroquette. Not called named John Larroquette. And he was. Hang on, I'm going somewhere with this. He was brilliant in the role. He was kind of this very fam. He was a defense attorney. Anyway, point of the story is, is that he won the Emmy so many years for outstanding comedy, you know, outstanding like supporting comedy actor for Night Court that eventually like after four or five years of winning in a row, he eventually took himself out of the running. Just said, I want somebody else to win. And so John Larraquet just said, I will no longer run in this category. I don't know if Todd's gonna do that. And so that's my question.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, I don't think so. At some point, I think Smy likes all of their Mets nominees winning. It's very Good for the network. That is the official home.
Matthew Berry
So if he wins two more, if he becomes the John Larroquette of sports Emmys, you still don't think he'll let you in?
Connor Rogers
I hope he doesn't. Yeah, I want to beat at this point, do you think Josh Allen, just like I hope Mahomes is retires.
Matthew Berry
Retires or misses. Yeah, you gotta beat him.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, you gotta beat him.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I know, but like, Josh Allen has a shot. I mean, come on, he's Todd Zeal. He's Emmy award winning Todd Zeal. Like, come on now. All right.
Jay Croucher
Just such a ridiculous setup with the John Larroquette thing. There was a player on the Ravens name called Lamar Jackson. Well, actually, it was his real name. It was his name, Lamar Jackson.
Matthew Berry
It was the first example I could think of. It was the first example I could. It's been a long week, America. It's been. Stop it. Nobody's gonna watch this. It's been a long, long week. Honestly, it's been a long month. I'm not lying here, guys.
Connor Rogers
Craig V in the chat said, night Court, great show.
Matthew Berry
Yes, Night Court was a great show. By the way, you can probably watch reruns of it on Peacock. There you go.
Connor Rogers
What's on Tag?
Jay Croucher
Polly Chaplin in It is brought to.
Connor Rogers
You by Bud Light, the official beer sponsor of the NFL. Sundays are easy to enjoy when they are full of football and the fridge is filled with beer. We're gonna make it even easier for you by getting to these questions. The first one from Kyle Cabrario, flex question. Chuba Hubbard or George Pickens, defensive opposition makes me question Chuba A. Pretty appreciate all of you. Hashtag, show them ankles.
Matthew Berry
Show them ankles.
Connor Rogers
I thought he was calling them man. Ankles.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. No, show them ankles. Todd Zeal would have read that correctly. I get the question. I get the question. Because Hubber Hubbard has a high floor.
Connor Rogers
Oh, man.
Matthew Berry
And it's true, though. Josh Allen does have a chance. Look, I'm going with Pickens. The answer is I'm going with Pickens here. Look, I get the question, I get the concern. Hubbard is the floor play, but the concern is the Panthers, the Panthers offense line. You know, both Hunt and Corbett went on IR this year, so it's a banged up offensive line. Falcons been a top 10 run defense so far this year. And then you think about George Pickens going against this Bears defense that, you know, through two games they've allowed the most touchdowns to wide receivers. Jalen Johnson, the Bears top corner, he's going to miss this game. This Is one of the highest over unders on the slate. I think Dak Prescott has a monster game. I actually think it's a shootout between the two teams. And so I think Pickens gets deep for one. He's my wide receiver, 22 this week. I just. It's more of a riskier play. It's more risk reward than Hubbard, who has a floor. But I think in that particular case, I would go with George Pickens. And as requested, they're the Mankles. I actually hang on my socks a little too high.
Connor Rogers
Jay give a comment on George Pickens.
Jay Croucher
There you go.
Matthew Berry
That's for you, baby.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, well, it's particularly after that. I disagree. I'm going chew bar. But Chubb Luck, he's been down 23 at halftime his first two games. I think the Falcons are gonna definitely do that. The thing is with Pickens is that game total starts with a five, which is good. That's what you like.
Matthew Berry
Yep.
Jay Croucher
There will be explosives down the field available against the pretty barren Bears secondary. There's not a lot going on there. They were absolutely roasted by the Lions. I think with Chuba Hubbard, it's just. How much do you believe that the Panthers are actually this bad? Are they actually like the worst team?
Connor Rogers
They might be. Dave Canales could not be the guy.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I kind of leaned towards him not being the guy. I thought that Tampa's offense got better when he left, but yeah, Chuba Hubbard still going to get a lot of work. But I think to your point, if you want ceiling Pickens, if you want.
Connor Rogers
Floor Chubbler regular number two on our list here as we get through. More questions from the regular. This is Oscar asking for half ppr. Elikayo Manor, of course, Jameson Williams, Romeo Dobbs or Trevion Henderson. Got a lot of Trayvon Henderson questions.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I'm going with Jameson Williams here. We've talked a lot about that Detroit Ravens game on Monday night. 52 and a half over under. We expect a ton of fantasy points Ravens have struggled against. I mean, again, it's skewed. It's only two games and it's skewed by that Bills, that crazy Bills game in week one. But still only one team's giving it more points passing yards this season than the Baltimore Ravens. I thought Jameson Williams looked good last week. I thought the Lions offense came back. So of all those other guys, I just feel like to me, Jameson Williams is the guy that would play there, you know, it's interesting though, you said regular number two, which I thought that was the, that was the name of like the guy. Nope. I like the idea of ranking the regulars though. I like, I like the regulars, you know, giving themselves a number and ranking themselves. Or, or we should do it on a, on a, on a weekly basis.
Connor Rogers
The chat kind of does it. Based on your activity, there'll be like a little crown that says number one. Number two. Oh wow. Yeah. So they get, they get like a little, a nice little logo next to their username in the chat. The more they interact with the chat.
Matthew Berry
Steven, let's, let's, let's do a leaderboard next week. Let's go through, figure out who's got.
Connor Rogers
The, you know, couple jump to mind. We had Stuntman Chuck at the top of the show. Julio Think youk are.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Johnny Dangerly.
Matthew Berry
Johnny Dangerly.
Connor Rogers
The names are starting to really.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Tej, Tej is always in there. Yep.
Matthew Berry
Tej is in there. Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Yep.
Matthew Berry
So, all right.
Jay Croucher
I agree on Jameson Williams. I do think though that the best wide receiver in Tennessee so far has been Elik IO Manor.
Matthew Berry
Yep.
Jay Croucher
Calvin Ridley does not look at the races at all. And I think that eventually that will become, he will become the lead guy in that passing game as Connor has said previously.
Matthew Berry
I do agree, but for this week I'm going with Jameson Williams.
Jay Croucher
Yep.
Matthew Berry
But I, but you, you've said I am minor needs to be picked up in all leagues and you've been saying that for weeks and weeks and weeks.
Jay Croucher
Yep.
Connor Rogers
Our last question from Jillian Flores. Need a flex in ppr. Isaiah Pacheco, Tyrone Tracy or Juwan Johnson?
Jay Croucher
We're gonna stop with all the Juwan Johnson questions. I feel like this is basic.
Matthew Berry
It's, it's, it's crazy. I, I think Pacheco again, it's sort of like the Hubbard Pickens question. Pacheco has the best chance at a touchdown. Pacheco. I, I, it definitely not Tyrone Tracy. No. But I just want to say Pacheco has the best got a chance at touchdown. I think Pacheco is probably your floor play, but I kind of like Juwan Constant on this one. I mean like, honestly, seriously, he's been a top three fantasy tight end. The Saints are chucking it all over. They're at Seattle. They're going to be down.
Jay Croucher
Was he a member of Live in on the Cock two years ago?
Matthew Berry
Yes, he was. He has a title. He's part of a back to back championship the same way that Todd Zeal is. So yeah, Pacheco is the floor play. Juwan Johnson is the, you know, risk, reward play. So it sort of depends on what you're looking for from that spot.
Jay Croucher
Who'd rather have Joann Johnson or T.J. hawkinson Rest of the season? Honestly, Scary.
Connor Rogers
It's a real question.
Matthew Berry
It's a legit question. I'm probably still going Hawkinson, but man, it's Saints. You got the better quarterback so far at the moment.
Connor Rogers
Carson Wentz is going to bring Hawk back to life.
Matthew Berry
I agree with that.
Connor Rogers
McCarthy sunk a lot of that offense more than people even realize somehow.
Matthew Berry
Yes sir.
Connor Rogers
That'll do it for what's on tap. Presented by Bud Light. Easy to drink, easy to enjoy. We're taking one more break when we're back. You know what time of the week it is. Jay and I have our pickup lines for Matthew.
Matthew Berry
By the way, no team's allowed more fantasy points to tight ends than the Seattle Seahawks, giving more credence to my Juwan Johnson call. Avoiding your unfinished home projects because you're.
Jay Croucher
Not sure where to start. Thumbtack knows homes, so you don't have.
Connor Rogers
To don't know the difference between matte.
Matthew Berry
Paint finish and satin or what that.
Jay Croucher
Clunking sound from your dryer is. With thumbtack, you don't have to be.
Matthew Berry
A home pro, you just have to hire one.

Jay Croucher
Your crown, Matthew.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Connor Rogers
Last call pick up lines effectiveness. We are being tracked. Matthew has picked Jay twice and they are both losers like me against Todd Zeal.
Matthew Berry
Yes, you are the Connor Rogers of pickup line's effectiveness.
Connor Rogers
I'm trying to be the Todd Zeal. I am. 1.
Matthew Berry
1.
Connor Rogers
Although Matthew never picks up.
Matthew Berry
What do you got for him?
Connor Rogers
This kind of looks like he's six.
Jay Croucher
Years old in that photo.
Matthew Berry
Never.
Jay Croucher
So it'll be nice. Cold lately. Very cold cold Palmer. But here's the way to heat up. Jonathan Taylor talked about him earlier in the show. Very good football player taking him over 13 and a half receiving yards. And here's why. There's a few things. One, he's not coming off the field. He came off the field a ton in previous years because he wasn't there on passing downs. But here's the reason why he's on the field. Matthew. I've been doing a deep dive on Colts film room Twitter which is a very strange place. But I've done it. I've done it for everyone so you don't have to so they got a lot of money on the Colts this year in lots of ways. Here's the thing with Jonathan Taylor. He's learned how to pass block. He was never a good pass blocker in his career. He had never topped a 57 PFF grade in pass blocking. This year 79. I watched the tape on Twitter via these strange accounts. He is pass blocking like a madman. It's allowing him to stay out there on the field. He's had 50 and 27 receiving yards his first two games. He's averaging 27 routes per game after 21 last year. He's just out there as on also the screen pass that he took 43 yards last week. That was the fastest speed that anyone has ever hit in the NFL since. Speed has been recorded in the NFL. So maybe throw the ball to that guy. Jonathan Taylor gets 14 receiving yards.
Matthew Berry
It's a good one. You should follow again. Let's see. Yeah, let's see.
Connor Rogers
All right, I got one for you here, Matthew. A little homer action here. Garrett Wilson over 64 and a half receiving yards. And listen to this. Tyrod Taylor, four full games he played in 20, 23 averaged 274 passing yards. He was throwing the ghost of Darren Waller, Wandell Robinson. It was not pretty but Tyrod was putting up big number in those four full games. There's no one else to throw to in the jets offense. It's Garrett Wilson, Breece hall, they have no. 2 wide receiver. They have a rookie tight end and Jeremy Rucker. And Fantasy Life's projection for Garrett Wilson, this is the biggest disparity of the weekend. They're projecting him to have 83 receiving yards. The line is 64 and a half. Once again, it's their biggest difference of numbers.
Matthew Berry
I like both of these. I like both these bets. I'm going to make both these bets. But unlike mama Emmy, I will choose you, Connor.
Connor Rogers
Wow.
Matthew Berry
Yes. Wow.
Connor Rogers
Mama Emmy.
Matthew Berry
Yes.
Connor Rogers
Never liked that woman.
Matthew Berry
Unlike her. Unlike Ms. Emmy. Whatever it is, whatever you want to say. Unlike lady Emmy, I will Queen Emmy. I will bring you home with me. That's a bigger win for me. Exactly 100%.
Connor Rogers
I feel so much better.
Matthew Berry
I may come through.
Connor Rogers
What a nice console.
Matthew Berry
Fantasy pregame is on Sunday morning at 11am Eastern on Peacock and YouTube. My 10 Facts column is now available on Rotterworld.com and NBC Sports. It's closing time. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. For Jay and Connor, I'm Matthew. We'll see you on Sunday. Good luck. Peace out. What does possibility mean to you?
Connor Rogers
That's a hard question. Something that you can strive for, that I'm able to do.
Matthew Berry
Everything.
Connor Rogers
Anything I set my mind to. You're confident in yourself and you believe in yourself. Stuff that you could achieve.
Matthew Berry
I feel excited.
Jay Croucher
Anything is possible when you're more confident.
Connor Rogers
Shoes are a huge part of that. They are the most important part of my style. You can like express yourself in the right shoes. Anything is possible. Dsw, countless shoes at brag worthy prices. Imagine the possibilities.

This episode dives into reactions from the Dolphins-Bills Thursday Night Football game, with particular fantasy attention on James Cook’s breakout, Dalton Kincaid’s emergence, and the Dolphins’ backfield split. The crew also explores injury updates (notably Jayden Daniels and Brock Purdy), debates start/sit and trade questions, and delivers signature comedic banter, including fan mail “Dear Doctor” segments and some Emmy-related fun. The friendly, informally roasty tone anchors the show in both deep fantasy analysis and good humor.
Knee injury in Thursday’s practice. “Not believed to be a long term issue…could miss this weekend.” [30:02–30:32]
Humorous fan mail about “booty” (Keyshon Boutte), “Wicks” (Dontavian Wicks), Wandale Robinson, and more.
This episode balances actionable fantasy football insights (waiver targets, start/sit, trade, injury news) with the show’s trademark humor and inside jokes. If you want to keep up with the latest developments on key fantasy players like James Cook, Dalton Kincaid, and A Chan, make savvy waiver and trade decisions, and enjoy a good laugh with banter and bits (“Commit to Booty!”), this is a must-listen. The dialogue stays playful yet focused on giving an edge to fantasy managers heading into the weekend.
