November 11: Matthew (@MatthewBerryTMR), Jay (@croucherJD), and Connor (@ConnorJRogers) honor Veterans Day off the top of the show, then pivot to who they're targeting on the Waiver Wire for Week 11. Jacoby Brissett, Marcus Mariota, Tyjae Spears, Emari Demercado, Alec Pierce, Tez Johnson, and Cade Otton are among the players analyzed. The trio also touches on the lackluster performances from A.J. Brown and Jordan Love on Monday Night Football before wrapping up the show, highlighting Cowboys-Raiders, Chiefs-Broncos, and Commanders-Dolphins as games they’re betting this weekend.

To be fair, Matthew, as we covered with Magnolia yesterday, we talked about the film Magnolia for about four minutes on the show yesterday. Tom Cruise has never won an Oscar either. He's merely nominated like Connor. So Connor and Tom Cruise.
Jay Croucher
I think it's because he does crappy movies like Magnolia. Where are you on Magnolia?
Connor Rogers
I've never seen it.
Jay Croucher
Nor should you. By the way.
Matthew Berry
It's 82 on Rotten Tomatoes. You're acting like it's a bad movie. It's not a bad.
Connor Rogers
I'll watch it and give my take.
Jay Croucher
There are interesting moments in it. It's well acted. It's all well put together. Just the idea that it's your favorite movie is insane. That's the biggest. That's the problem I have with it. It's a ridiculous chase. You don't get to choose my favorite movie. I know I don't get to choose.
Matthew Berry
I'm the only one who lived my life.
Jay Croucher
I understand that.
Matthew Berry
Not saying it's the best movie. I think There Will Be Blood is a better movie than Magnolia. So I'm choosing it as my favorite movie.
Jay Croucher
I understand.
Matthew Berry
It's like yesterday there was this 25 yard run that I really liked from Jonathan Taylor. It was my favorite run of the day. You don't get to choose what my favorite Jonathan Taylor Run of the Day.
Connor Rogers
I think the 83 yard or better.
Jay Croucher
Fantasy football happy hour with Matthew Ber.
Connor Rogers
Welcome to the Fantasy Football Happy Hour. Connor Rogers, Matthew Berry and Mr. Magnolia. You know what?
Matthew Berry
I was thinking about it fellas. You know What Tom Cruise's best role actually is after Magnolia. Collateral, where he plays Vincent.
Jay Croucher
Collateral.
Matthew Berry
You would like Collateral.
Jay Croucher
Okay.
Matthew Berry
You know, I kind of like Magnolia. Everyone likes Magnolia except for me and Dev.
Jay Croucher
Which one's Collateral?
Matthew Berry
Collateral. Jamie Foxx, the Michael Mayer movie. Tom Cruise has.
Jay Croucher
Great. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. He's actually Vincent. He's actually very good in that. That one. I will give you, finally a movie take I can agree with one of.
Matthew Berry
The great movies of the past 25 years, at least in the top 75 or so.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, look, Tom, as long as Tom Cruise is running, he's always good here. But like, yeah, that's great. It's unbelievable. That's right.
Connor Rogers
Valiant, Vincent.
Jay Croucher
Valiant Vincent.
Connor Rogers
When Croucher says that Magnolia is his.
Jay Croucher
Favorite film, it's conceivable. Yeah, I don't think it means what you think it means. By the way, I look, unfortunately, a lot like Wallace Shawn these days. I'm just. I'm. I'm just looking at this and I just. I know what I look like, and it's just. I'm. It's. It's upsetting to me how close I look to Wallace Shawn. But yeah, I mean, Princess Bride does. I'm going to do 20 seconds here on Princess Bride, then we'll move on.
Matthew Berry
I'll take the over.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, of course. Now, the reason Princess Bride is such a brilliant movie is that again, as a screenwriter, I understand it is funny, it is heartwarming. It has legitimate action. It has suspension drama there. It's a zillion different genres, and yet it all mixes together and doesn't feel. It never feel. It never feels out of place. As opposed to, hey, this is a really good action movie. This is a really funny movie. This is a really sweet, romantic movie. It is all those things put together. Rob Reiner. It is a brilliant. Ryan Scott says, I watched Magnolia last night. It was better than Eagles patterns, but I'm not sure that's saying much. I agree with you, Ryan.
Connor Rogers
I wish I did what Ryan did.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, much more entertaining.
Connor Rogers
Got it out the game, but I.
Matthew Berry
Wish there was actually more offense in Magnolia. It was better passing game.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I actually love last night. I actually loved last night's game. And we'll get to that in a second. But before we do anything at all, the fact that I am on national TV arguing about Magnolia and talking about fake football while wearing makeup and the fact that you two jokers are getting to do the same thing is entirely because we live in a free country. And that is Entirely thanks to our veterans and their families, by the way. So thank you very much. Veterans drink free. They always drink free. Let's be very clear. But obviously today we take a moment to thank everyone that has served our country past, present and future and their families. I always feel like that never gets mentioned enough because the fam, like when soldiers are overseas fighting for our country, it is the families back home, it is the husbands and wives, it is the sons and the daughters that are staying at home. You know, like, it is the sacrifices of the families that allow them to do what they do. It's sacrifices across the board. And so I am a big believer that there is not nearly enough, you know, like you always say, the phrase is like, whatever we pay them, it's not enough. Like, whatever we can do for veterans, it is not enough.
Matthew Berry
Absolutely, completely agree.
Connor Rogers
Well said, Matthew. Thank you to all of the veterans, but especially the veterans that watch and listen to our show all the time, too. An extra appreciation for you today from the happy hour guest.
Jay Croucher
You know what, there is such a huge, huge contingent of people in the military that play fantasy football. It's a way to keep them together. I've heard of leagues of like, you know, former troops that they keep together. It's a way for people to keep in touch when they're overseas or whatever with people back home as well. I always, you know, if you ever need me to do something, ask me from a military address. And the answer is always yes. I did a, I did a zoom call last week with a bunch of people in the Navy, in the United States Navy. And I don't say that to like pat myself on the back, but just merely like it was an honor for me to do that. We did an hour long fantasy football talk where we just sort of went through, you know, kind of the season and Q and A. And it's just, it's a, it's an honor for me to get to do stuff like that. So thank you, thank you to all of our veterans. You guys drink free and hopefully we do an enjoyable show here. And no more bad Magnolia takes.
Connor Rogers
That's right. Because it's waiver wire day. A lot to get through for your top targets for week 11. Yes, we're going to somehow recap. Packers, Eagles, Monday night Football and our favorite early week bets on early line alert, which we had a clean sweep last week on early lineup. So we look to keep that going. I know you probably don't remember, you had the Thursday night football game, the Raiders covering. You had the commanders not covering. You're the Lions covering. And I had the Ravens, so. So a nice little queen sleep to the desk.
Matthew Berry
We won our bets last night. Saquon Bachelor.
Jay Croucher
We went 2 for 1. Jalen Hurts didn't score, but Barkley did not get to 17 and a half rushing yards. And Devonte Smith did go over 54.5 receivers.
Matthew Berry
I tell you what, those longest rush bets and the longest reception ones, they're kind of exhilarating because you don't know in real time at any moment. Like, Sagan had a 15 yarder early.
Jay Croucher
On, very early on, I thought, the bet's over because I. I tailed you on that one too.
Matthew Berry
I thought it was like, it's going to be close, but it was. It was okay. You got screwed on that with JSN on Sunday Night Football a couple weeks ago where I thought he had it like three times. I was like, oh, no, I took.
Jay Croucher
Over 28 and a half. He had like, he had like three different receptions of over 20 yards. I had JS 10. And anytime touchdown. Sam Darnold throws for four, they score five to everyone else. Elijah Arroyo should have taken Elijah Arroyo anytime touchdown. But why is it rolling? The positives are, is that I feel like I actually crush my bets on this show. Like, we had a guy last year that used to keep track of it and our winning percentage was really good. I don't know where he went, but if somebody wants to make the regular power rankings, that's a way to do it. Mid show keeps track of it for us. Medium Mid Show's a better name. It is what it is. No, it is what it is. We love him, but he's mid show. But I was gonna say it's like Sunday Night Football. It's just like, you know, we've had fluky things like on last Saturday, Sunday night. All I need is lad McConkey to keep running, right? Like even Torico's like, yeah. And then somehow he gets caught from behind and Justin Herbert doesn't get two touches.
Matthew Berry
A lot more people watch out show than Sunny Football.
Jay Croucher
To be fair, though, thank God, yes. I'd be worried if people saw those bets not cash on, you know, in front of 10 million people.
Connor Rogers
All right, Waiver wired quarterbacks. The quarterbacks on a by Daniel Jones and Tyler Schuck coming off a very, very strong week. Yes. The numbers per game are low because of, you know, not last week, everything before that and appearances. Filling in for Spencer Rattler. But go ahead, Matt.
Jay Croucher
I was just going to say, but we know Jaden Daniels isn't back. There's a chance we won't have Jackson Dart this week. There's a chance we won't have CJ Stroud again this week. I don't think he's in danger of missing, but Justin Herbert got pretty banged up on that Sunday night game. And that's one of the things you can see him being a little limited as well. And so anyway, there's a chance you might need more quarterback help than initially when you think, oh, it's only two guys on a buy.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, I think that, you know, it's safe to say Jackson Dart might miss a week here. Things look pretty rough there. So we start with Jacoby Brissette, where you look at Jacoby Brissette over his last four games.
Jay Croucher
I think we really start on third down.
Matthew Berry
I don't think we're really good on.
Jay Croucher
Third down where we've been excelling at.
Matthew Berry
To prolong drives and run a lot of play.
Jay Croucher
A lot of plays on our terms, I would say, you know, I think.
Matthew Berry
Really it was third down, you know.
Jay Croucher
And then you play against a team like that, you get behind the sticks and you kind of. You kind of got to play a.
Matthew Berry
Game early that you don't really come.
Jay Croucher
Into the game planning on playing. You know, I think that's where it really started. It was on third down. I think you got to, you know, find ways and to, you know, stay on the field. And I think the last three weeks we've been topped in the league on third downs. And today that was the difference, you know, third down and turnovers.
Connor Rogers
Jacoby Brissette. Matthew has brought some, at least some rhythm to this offense. I know a lot of it was garbage time last week, but before that, efficient. Getting the ball to Marvin Harrison and Trey McBride and doing more than enough in fantasy.
Jay Croucher
Understands the assignment, right, Joe? Kobe Brissette understands the assignment. Again, I've always said this.
Connor Rogers
Josie. Again, Josie.
Jay Croucher
That's right. It's the Josie theory. Get the ball to your best players. It's not hard. It's not that I'm a coaching genius, but that's what you do. That's what you do. The regulars know what I'm talking about. Like, I had. I coach girls basketball. I had one girl that was a foot taller than everyone else. Like, girls, we're getting the ball to Josie, you know, we won undefeated. We won the title, right? That's right. Because you know what I did? I followed the coaching axiom of get the ball in your best player's hands. Jacoby Brissette understands the assignment. He gets it to MHJ, he gets it to Trey McBride. And as you mentioned, he's been a top 12 quarterback in all four of his games that he started. He had at least 250 passing yards and multiple touchdown passes in all four. Doesn't give you a lot with his legs, but, Jay, I like this matchup against San Francisco. A defense that's just been decimated.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, they've just got no players left. No Nick Bosa, no Fred Warner, Michael Williams have been giving them something on the D line. He goes down as well. They just don't have the personnel. This is going to potentially be a shootout. You know, the funny thing is with Jacoby just watching these games, it's like the Cardinals have been like de angst ified. There's no angst. Like, every Kyler Murray start feels like an existential crisis. Oh, is he the future? Is he not the future? Oh, he's spent the number one pick on him. Oh, he's not that good.
Connor Rogers
Is it Marvin's fault?
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Why isn't McBride catching touchdowns? Yeah, just bizarre storylines.
Matthew Berry
Why is it Marvin Harrison f. And now it's just like. It's just like a normal offense. It's like Jacoby Brissette's running it and throwing it to Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison, and it's just normal again and it's effective.
Jay Croucher
So Mike Florio, over a week ago on Football Night in America, not this past Sunday, but a week prior, said that, don't be surprised. This is before Murray was on ir, said, you know, my sources are telling me Kyler Murray might be on the move over the weekend. Week later, suddenly everyone else has this news, you know, so shout out to Florida. I want to give credit to Florida because no one gave credit to Mike on sort of breaking that news. But then he gets put on IR and then you're hearing all this chatter around this, and it's like a bear writer. Are you kidding me? Oh, no, no, no. He's got New York Jet written all over Conor Rogers. Go ahead and say, like, for Kyler. Go ahead, practice that. That's. That's the kind of phrase you'll say sny. Next year.
Matthew Berry
The jets are going to get like.
Connor Rogers
Ty Simps right now, actually draft a quarterback.
Jay Croucher
No, they will. Kyler Murray's coming.
Matthew Berry
Let's have a million picks now. They don't go in the Kyla Murray thing.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, Kyler Murray is like a desperation button of like, we don't. We don't have the Draft pick high enough and we have no other answer.
Jay Croucher
Raiders might.
Connor Rogers
I think I'd rather just go into the year with Geno again.
Jay Croucher
That is a great. No. They'll do something. Kyler. Kyler will have a starting job next year. Do we agree with that?
Connor Rogers
I think I'll have to compete for one.
Jay Croucher
Really?
Connor Rogers
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Wow.
Connor Rogers
The problem. Unless it's just Arizona again. But I'm pretty sure he's going to be due a certain bonus. So they'll have to make a decision whether to keep him and pay that bonus or move on from him.
Jay Croucher
I'm trying to think of like where the open jobs will be next year.
Connor Rogers
Right. There's not.
Jay Croucher
It's not that I'm just. We're derailing it a little bit. But whatever.
Matthew Berry
Screw it.
Jay Croucher
It's a Tuesday. It's pack up. Producer Pete used to do Tuesdays so it's kind of in the theme.
Matthew Berry
But we moved him to Wednesday because there's too much to do on Tuesday.
Jay Croucher
Panthers. Potentially Miami. Yep. You mentioned the Raider. You mentioned the Raiders. The jets are going to need a quarterback. Obviously. Let's see.
Matthew Berry
Saints.
Jay Croucher
Saints. Potentially Rams. Potential. I bet Stafford hangs it up this year.
Connor Rogers
Wow.
Matthew Berry
You're forcing another great into retirement. He's called Stafford's retirement like three years ago.
Jay Croucher
You can't keep going back to the.
Connor Rogers
Three years he can win the MVP in the Super Bowl.
Jay Croucher
37.
Connor Rogers
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
He's the favorite to win the NFC and the favorite to win the Super Bowl.
Connor Rogers
Steelers.
Jay Croucher
Steelers.
Matthew Berry
He would not be. It doesn't feel like he'd be a great fit with Tom. No.
Jay Croucher
Oh my God. Kyler would be great. Arthur Smith, like I never have to pass with Kyler. Are you kidding me? I can run my running backs. I can run Kyler. He's perfect for Arthur Smith.
Matthew Berry
It's not going to be Aaron Rogers next year in Pittsburgh.
Jay Croucher
No, that's true. And I think the jury is still out on if Atlanta needs a quarterback next year.
Connor Rogers
You could say that though about a lot. You could say about Minnesota. You could say that about a million different teams.
Jay Croucher
Yeah. I wouldn't mind as somebody who has Kyler in Dynasty. Unfortunately I wouldn't mind Kyler in Minnesota with KFC.
Matthew Berry
He's the 1 seed right now. But Bonix is like a bad three week stretch from also being in that discussion.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Anyways, steer this thing back. Jacoby Brissette is 80% available and if you need a quarterback, he's been effective now for four straight weeks. He's got the Niners, Jacksonville, the Bucs. And then the Rams also available. Your Marcus Mariota at 86% available.
Jay Croucher
So many people mocked my Marcus Mariota take. He's fantasy wise. He's good. He's, you know, like, again, they've got a terrible defense. He's going to have to throw a bunch. It's kind of like the Joe Flacco theory here. He does run a little bit more than you think. He's had at least 16 fantasy points in three of the four starts so far this season. Two top 12 finishes. Gets a few points with his legs. I don't mind the matchup against the Dolphins, who allowed the six most yards per pass attempt so far this season. They've also given up four rushing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks. That's tied for the second most in the NFL. This game is in Spain, I believe, right?
Connor Rogers
It's Madrid.
Jay Croucher
Madrid game. Yes, I am. I'll do happy hour. I'll do pregame from Madrid.
Matthew Berry
Okay.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
Olay.
Connor Rogers
I don't think anybody would blame you if you did.
Matthew Berry
We can stop Madrid on the way to Philadelphia.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, maybe I'll do that. I'll do that. I could see George doing that Boondoggle George, which is.
Matthew Berry
I don't think George is allowed in Spain either. Not allowed in Pennsylvania or Spaniard.
Connor Rogers
What has he done?
Jay Croucher
George has a. He has a. It's a checkered past. That's all I want to say.
Matthew Berry
All I'm gonna say. We've done two. We're gonna do two shows in the space of a month in the state of Pennsylvania and George Taparikis won't be on either of them.
Jay Croucher
That's question.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. Suspicious.
Jay Croucher
On the advice of legal counsel, we can't say anything more, but merely, we will once again be in Pennsylvania without George Savarikis.
Connor Rogers
We have something special for you, courtesy of stupid Dev.
Jay Croucher
Okay.
Connor Rogers
By the way. Yes. He's cooked up a special gift for you.
Jay Croucher
I love stupid Deb. Yeah. I mean, it's unfortunate. That's Wallace, Sean and me. It's unfortunate. And honestly, that's an old pic. The picture he has right there of me.
Matthew Berry
You look good, Matthew. Yeah, that.
Jay Croucher
Well, that was in a suit jacket. Yeah. I did a. I know exactly what that picture is from. And that's. Honestly, it's too good a picture. Like, you should take a photo of me right now. Like, I. Because that's probably like five or six years ago. I did a. I did a campaign with David Yurman, the jeweler. And so I'm dead serious. That's what that photo is from.
Connor Rogers
Nice.
Jay Croucher
What were you pulling? The idea of it was. It was actually a pretty smart idea. And we did. Well, the idea of it was they wanted to appeal to men because it's a jewelry store. And so the idea was I did a bunch of appearances at various David Yurman stores. Men would come in for, like, fantasy little chalk talk, and they're like, oh, here's something to buy your wife, your girlfriend, your daughter, your mom, whatever. That kind of stuff comes out.
Connor Rogers
That's a house trap.
Jay Croucher
A little bit. A little bit of a honeycomb trap. Little man, little fantasy football handy trap. That's right, Aldo. It's again, it's very upsetting. Like, if you took a screenshot of me. Stupid Dev right now, I'll go on camera one. Here we go. Camera one. Like, look at this.
Matthew Berry
I. Camera one. Yeah, there you go.
Jay Croucher
Take a look at me now. And then put that next to all of shot and you'll see it's. It's incredibly unfortunate. And thank God my wife is constantly drunk and sort of looks me at me through, you know, hazy eyes.
Connor Rogers
Aloha Bricks asked how you aged backwards. So that's a nice compliment from Aloha Bricks. Trying to stay very relevant in the very.
Jay Croucher
Thank you. Definitely trying to be number one in the regular power rankings.
Matthew Berry
The Curious Case of Matthew Button. Dev likes Magnolia. He says it's a great film.
Jay Croucher
Stupid. Damn.
Connor Rogers
I'll be the tiebreak.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Whenever I have seven hours, I have.
Jay Croucher
To figure this out. We're gonna. We. We will have a watch party for Magnolia. I have to figure out when we're gonna do this, but we're all going to watch Magnolia together at the same time. And we will figure it out and we'll be able to talk it through. And everyone will see what I see, which is that being anyone's favorite movie is the most insane take of all time. It's your worst take in three and a half years. It's your worst take on this show.
Matthew Berry
It's been much worse. No giants to win the division last year.
Jay Croucher
Najee Harris, Michael Thomas. Yeah, yeah. Remember the Michael Thomas.
Connor Rogers
That was a good era. That was a really good era where people were tweeting at you every week about it.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
That's kind of how you got off to a big start.
Matthew Berry
Dad of my daughter's preschool come up to me and put his hand up. Michael Thomas. I don't know who you are.
Jay Croucher
That's right.
Connor Rogers
And I don't want to.
Jay Croucher
It's how America got to know you. That's how they first fell in love with you, Jay.
Matthew Berry
Unbelievable.
Connor Rogers
Anyways Marcus Mariota viable that's they're at.
Jay Croucher
Miami then a by home to Denver at Minnesota. But again I think just game script Dan Quinn taking over as defense coordinator. The commanders it's like it is literally rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. There's nothing to be done. We didn't have good talent to start the year and what talent we did have has all been beat up. Like it's just, it's just too tough here. You see some other names on the list there Tua. Actually you know again speaking of the commander's bad defense Tua Tunga Violoa gets them this week. Only one team is worse in the NFL and pass defense Aaron Rodgers. Speaking of the team that is worse, it's Cincinnati. Right. First matchup against the the Bengals. Aaron threw for 249 and four touchdowns. Geno gets Dallas. Seven of the nine quarterbacks to face the Cowboys this year scored at least 23 fantasy points. And again we'll wait to see on CJ Stroud with Davis Mills he's at Tennessee. We'll see about Brock Purdy but if those guys are out Mac Jones also has a decent match up here as well. So Mac Jones and Davis Mills.
Connor Rogers
Yeah and we got to mention Joe Burrows window opening up to return from ir. This is an interesting one.
Jay Croucher
He's available in over about he's rostered I think about 60% of league so he doesn't make our threshold but like he's out there in about 40% of leagues very much worth seeing if he's out there. Sounds like the reporting is that he expects to come back in week 13. So basically he gets team for two.
Connor Rogers
Weeks for the fantasy playoffs earliest end of the timeline by the way for this injury. I guess the question is and I don't think they'll go by this but if they're playing for nothing for a guy that has significant injuries every year do you put him out there?
Jay Croucher
So I would say no.
Connor Rogers
I think they do though.
Jay Croucher
I agree with you and I also think it's because Joe Burrow has this sort of injury prone tag and he wants to. I'll prove it to them but just.
Connor Rogers
Like be with this guy.
Matthew Berry
Is Zach Taylor getting fired if they go 4 on 13?
Jay Croucher
He's not. He's absolutely not. And I will tell you why. Because the Bengals owner, this is why I always feel bad for Bengals fans because you always get boned. Their owner is like the cheapest guy. I think he's the cheapest owner in the NFL. And I believe I. Damian, Producer Damian, correct me if I'm wrong on this fact check here, but Stop the draft, Damien. No, no. Yes. Stop the draft, Damien. No, I believe that the Bengals have never fired a coach under contract. They've let contracts expire out of contract. They never want to pay somebody not to coach for that. Like, that's an organizational thing. And I think Zach Taylor's got a couple more years. He signed an extension a couple of years ago, and someone can look that up. But I think there's no chance that Zach Taylor gets fired before his contract is up. So it's. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. I've had people say to me they think Joe Burrow gets traded, seeing what Joe Flacco has done with this offense and, you know, Chase and Higgins, everything like that.
Matthew Berry
And like, let's not get crazy.
Jay Croucher
I agree with you.
Connor Rogers
I was a historic decision.
Jay Croucher
I. But could you. If you. If you're like, we think this offensive system is good. We've got all this. We've got this offensive weapons. And if you have a competent quarterback here, could you trade Joe Burrow and get a bunch of number ones and just a boatload of draft picks because you've got to reload that defense.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I'm going to try. And Joe Bar.
Jay Croucher
I agree with you. I agree with you. But I'm not crazy.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
He's worth five ones.
Jay Croucher
I agree with you.
Connor Rogers
He's worth all five of the jets.
Jay Croucher
I 1000% agree. But somebody might do that. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
I just think the Bengals would be absolutely insane.
Jay Croucher
I agree with you.
Connor Rogers
Absolutely insane.
Jay Croucher
But what you and I and Jay think is rational doesn't necessarily compare to.
Connor Rogers
Mike Brown, who also employs the smallest scouting department in the NFL. They don't pay out coaching contracts. Yeah.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
So I think all that to say Joe Burrow probably comes back in place no matter what their.
Jay Croucher
Yes. And it's worth. Anyway, it is worth checking to see if he's available in your waiver wire. And I would say especially. Especially if you feel pretty good about your chances of making the playoffs. I would dump a reasonably usable player for the next couple weeks for Joe Burrow because. Yes. Is there a scenario where they just. They're out of it and they shut him down, But I don't think. I think he wants to play regardless. Agreed.
Connor Rogers
Let's go to the running backs here, guys. Notable ones on the bye. The biggest one, Jonathan Taylor. Jonathan Taylor's been carrying your team this week. Yes. You might Just have to take a dive here. Alvin Kamara, who had a good week last week, finally of course we basically wrote him off and then he finally had a week where he was solid.
Jay Croucher
I mean, yeah, I mean he was, he was like. Right. He wasn't terrible.
Connor Rogers
Right.
Jay Croucher
He was playable. He was. Yeah, there you go.
Matthew Berry
He was ambulant.
Jay Croucher
Ambulant. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
We've been waiting for playable. Yeah. So with that being said, this is not going to be pretty. This is the situation with running backs on the waiver wires. You top guys. Taje Spears, he's 64% available. Feels like he's always available on this segment. Like we did the title.
Jay Croucher
He's the Hunter Henry of running backs.
Connor Rogers
He really has become that way.
Matthew Berry
He's the spiritual success of the Kenyan Drake.
Connor Rogers
I mean the question is he. He's basically just a desperation flex, right Matthew?
Jay Croucher
He's played 50%. Yeah, I mean look, that's exactly where I am. Like you know, he's played 50% of the snaps over the last four games since Week 6. He's got a double digit target share. Again, the Titans aren't good. He's their passing down back.
Connor Rogers
He's there.
Jay Croucher
We're trailing running back as well. And so against a Texans defense that is likely going to be playing from ahead, they're going to be trailing this Texans defense. I don't think they're able to run effectively on Houston. So again like I think quick dump offs to Taje Spears out of the bye could be a way that they try to move the ball in this one. Not expecting great things here but since week eight, as you see there, he's been averaging 13 fantasy points per game. That is usable. That is how we're in. We're in Alvin Camara territory, right? That's exactly above Alvin Camara. Like Calvin Camara sort of.
Matthew Berry
The Mendoza line is the Mendoza Line. The Camaro line.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, the Camaro line.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. I think the hope is, is that if you're using Taj Spears, it's that Ken Ward is completely under siege of this Texans pass rush. They're not able to run the ball. Texans have an elite rush defense and that is dump off city. The concern about like his value in comeback mode is that like they're still facing, they might be facing Davis Mills. Like it might not actually be out of hand. Like the line is seven and a half, it's not 14 or something. But you still would expect them to be trailing. Again, Ty J. Spears is the embodiment of like you want eight and a half Points like, yeah, he's your guy.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I just, I will say just in that game, I think, I think regardless of whether it's Davis, Mills or C.J. stroud, I just, I have no confidence in that offense whatsoever. Interim head coach, bad offensive line. Cam Ward just seems, you know, in over his head. I don't think they've helped put him in a position to succeed. And so that Texans defense is legit.
Matthew Berry
I am like, so the Titans are two points worse than any other team in the NFL.
Jay Croucher
Right. So I just, I just think the Texas. I like, I could see a pick six. I could see, I think short field position for Houston. So I just think Tennessee is going to be trailing quickly and early says Nick Chubb or Tajie Spears rest of the season. Connor Rodgers, Tajie Spears. Yeah.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Nick Chubb was almost phased out last week.
Jay Croucher
Yeah. Woody Marks.
Connor Rogers
Woody Marks looks good, efficient, he's a good pass catching back. But now he's actually getting run down work.
Matthew Berry
I think the tell is as well as the Chubb. Chubb actually look good. Like, Chubb had 100% success rate on his runs last week. I think he only had five of five carries. But Woody Marks looks so good. The offensive line might be gelling out of the buy with Nick Kaley's new offense.
Connor Rogers
Better.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. So there's some, there's upside in Woody Marks. There's none in Nick Chubb and Ty J. Spears. You know, Pollard has been hurt in his career and Spears is the younger player, so maybe they give him some more look in the second half.
Jay Croucher
You know how like on. Are either you guys on Snapchat? Yeah. Okay. Are you.
Matthew Berry
I just use it for my daughter. Still use the filters?
Jay Croucher
Yeah, yeah. For. I mean, like, that's. I'm on Snapchat. It's literally how I communicate with my kids. Like, I don't, I don't publicly post or anything like that. But like, you know how like on Snapchat they have streaks? Like my daughter. My daughters do that all the time. All they do is they post. It's like, you know, 100 days, 300 days with all their little friends and like streaks. I feel like Aloha Bricks and Jonathan Medici have like a streak, the longest streak of the show of like a comment every single day that makes the show like, it'd be interesting to see, like what, like streaks. We should start a streak counter of like, who.
Connor Rogers
Aloha Bricks has the number two crown today.
Jay Croucher
There you go.
Connor Rogers
Oh, actually it's bumped up now to number one because he's been so active in this show.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, let's go.
Matthew Berry
The Cal Ripston Jr. Of our times.
Jay Croucher
Yes, he is. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Anyways, if you want to know the state of waivers on running backs this week, our number two running back is Mari D. Mercado, who is 63% available coming off of a week where he had four carries and four targets.
Jay Croucher
Can I tell you something? Like, everyone remembers the awful, ridiculous play where he cost the Cardinals a win and fumbled just before the goal line. But randomly, he's actually been pretty good. Right. That play obviously was a tough day at the office for him, but over the past two games, he's got 182 yards from scrimmage. He's averaging nine yards per carry this season. 23. You know, again, we saw that one big run, but 23% of his runs, Connor, have gained 10 or more yards. Bam. Knight got banged up last week. He's got that ankle injury. I don't know if Trey Benson's definitely coming back this week. And then we've talked about this 49ers defense, Jay. Since week six, San Francisco allowing the eighth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. I mean, Tajie Spears for the quote, rest of the season, if you just sort of need a guy, you know what I mean? But like, if you need somebody this week, Amari D. Micardo, like, actually is going to be viable.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Usable.
Matthew Berry
There's no prayer for the Titans offense. The Titans offense just isn't going to be good this year. The Cardinals offense can be functional and he can be the number one back in a functional offense that is going to play in some shootouts as well. Like the Cardinals secondaries really banged up. The total in this game is 48 and a half as well. So, yeah, you'd expect that to be scoring. And if there's one Cardinals running back that you want, it's Steamer. Cardinal.
Connor Rogers
All right, guys, deeper league targets. Tyler Algier, the touchdown merchant from Bijan Robinson, he's 67% available. Obviously you need the touchdown for him to be viable, but he's been pretty good in that regard.
Jay Croucher
Blake Corum, he scored in four of the last six.
Connor Rogers
Right. So if, if you're playing in a standard league out there and still logging the stats, he's probably one of the top players. Blake Corum is getting more work. It feels like they're trying to keep Kyron Williams healthy for the stretch run.
Jay Croucher
Three straight games with 12 or more touches, right?
Connor Rogers
Sean Tucker a favorite of yours, Matthew?
Jay Croucher
Yeah. 49% of the Buccaneers running back touches the last two weeks. He looks good when he gets an opportunity. And still no timetable for Bucky Irving to come back. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Bucky Irving. It will not be playing this week and without a timetable.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
So that's. It's just bizarre. At this point I understand why we.
Matthew Berry
Have so many players missing like two months and they don't go on ir.
Connor Rogers
It's super weird.
Matthew Berry
Godwin, Bucky Irving, Brock Soddy, Ricky Pearsall. Ricky Pearsall, like Pearson might be coming back.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
But they keep saying that.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Every week it's like, hey, you might do some stuff this week and then you get to Thursday. It's like questionable.
Matthew Berry
Every week. Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Devin Singletary's had back to back games with double digit touches as well. I feel like Ricky Pierce hall could literally retire and Kyle Shannon would say, like, we might get him back this week. We don't know. We're going to see. You know it does.
Connor Rogers
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
He literally just retired a week ago. No, no. You know, there's a chance he'll be out there. We'll see.
Connor Rogers
And then it's just Juwan Jennings on one leg, no shoulders.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
He's just hobbling around one day.
Matthew Berry
It's like Gustavo Fring's final scene and Breaking Bad. Spoiler for people because that was in the past 20.
Connor Rogers
You'll get it when you watch it.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, Yeah. I don't. I'm not trying to make fun of the actual injury, but Ricky Piersall last year was shot and came back quicker than he is now. Again, I'm not trying to make fun of like, that was a serious thing. I'm not trying to make light of that, but I'm just like.
Connor Rogers
Right.
Jay Croucher
That's crazy.
Matthew Berry
But he was like a degenerative Nathan. Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
It's like, I mean, it just. Anyway, again, I'm not trying. I, you know, I'm not trying to make fun of that at all, but I just think that is sort of insane when you think about. Yeah. Why he missed time at the beginning of the year last year and then how much time he's missed this year.
Matthew Berry
The, the thing too is that when he's out there, he looks fantastic.
Connor Rogers
Oh, he's a great player.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
So he's perfect for the offense.
Matthew Berry
Hopefully he can get a healthy stretch to win the season.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Well, speaking of wide receivers, here's the notable ones and tight ends on a. Buy a lot of Colts here. Jay Michael Pittman Jr. Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, Tyler Warren, and then obviously the Saints with Alave and Juwan Johnson. Who? Tyler Schuck. Really might be able to keep those guys afloat for significant numbers down the stretch now after what we saw last week.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, Tyler Schuck is kind of. Exciting is a very strong word, but he's in the neighborhood of exciting. Just being able to chalk it up and then all of my cold superstars on a buy. Pittman, Alec Pierce.
Jay Croucher
I just feel like I. And, and I'm waiting for the memo from the NBC brass, but I just feel like we haven't had nearly enough fun with Tyler Schuck's last name.
Connor Rogers
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Well, I just feel like there's a. I just. Yeah, I just. I just think we should shuck around and find out. You understand what I'm talking about. I just think there's a lot of opportunity there. That's something to think about for the regular.
Matthew Berry
There's a lot you can do with the shucky child's play elements. Yeah. My three year old, my five year old daughter yesterday asked me if we get a Chucky doll.
Connor Rogers
That's terrifying.
Matthew Berry
One, absolutely not. Two, how do you even know Chucky?
Jay Croucher
Is this. I can answer the second question. I can answer the second question because I've had this conversation with her and she's like, when daddy is betting and not paying attention to me, then I just flip through the channels and I watch a lot of, I watch a lot of, you know, inappropriate content. And it's weird that she said the phrase inappropriate content for a young lady. She's got a terrific vocabulary. Terrific vocabulary.
Matthew Berry
Midsummer Friday.
Jay Croucher
Yeah. When she was here visiting last week. Exactly. We had this whole conversation.
Connor Rogers
Anyway, somehow Alec Pierce is still available in 57%.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, beats me.
Jay Croucher
I've said that it is your best call of the week. Again, not available this week. But just he's going to be a bigger part of this Colts offense. Down the stretch since Week 7, he's a top 20 fantasy wide receiver on a points per game basis. He's got a 26% target share during that stretch again. And I think the most impressive thing here about Pierce is like we've always known about the deep threadability, but his route tree, as you sort of see it there on the next gen stats, his route tree is expanding. They're using him in a bunch of different ways. Connor.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, because he's a great athlete. He's got good size and the fact is when you show teams that you can get over the top of them, it's going to create more space underneath and now he's taking advantage of that. So Pierce is Going to be paid a enormous amount of money in a couple months. I don't think the Colts even let him out to the door. But the most important thing is he is consistent in fantasy week in and week out and available in a lot of places.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
The thing here is too is like the Titans, that was a fake game. Like they're up by a million points. They never need to throw. But like Chargers 10 targets, Steelers 13 targets, Falcons 7 targets. Just with his average depth of target despite the expanded route tree like he still does get a lot of work deep. So yeah, he's. He's a legitimate wide receiver one for the Colts in real life and I think a wide receiver two type in fantasy.
Jay Croucher
I think it's on that. Yeah. That wide receiver two, three border just because the touchdown equity is a little tough with Jonathan Taylor going nuts, obviously Warren and Pittman being around the goal line. But when he's a free agent this year, do you think Alec Pierce will earn shuck you money?
Connor Rogers
Oh, yeah.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Okay, what's the barometer for shuck yu money?
Matthew Berry
What would be Charles playoffs?
Jay Croucher
25 million a year? Yeah, something like that.
Connor Rogers
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. It's so funny. I was thinking about watching Alec Pierce on Sunday if you're like a kid in Germany because last year you got Bryce Young against Daniel Jones. Sunday he got Daniel Jones. Pennings was fine, but Daniel Jones not his fine. So you must be growing up as a kid in general. Geez, quarterback's easy to play in America. Maybe I can do that when I'm older.
Jay Croucher
I thought what you were going to say is like, there's a kid in Germany saying like, Alec Pierce is the greatest. Thinks of Alec Pierce the way you think of like Randy Moss.
Connor Rogers
Randy Moss. That's exactly what came to my mind. Like, whoa, this guy's big. He can fly.
Matthew Berry
Tyler Pierre, Ladanian Tomlinson.
Jay Croucher
He's the greatest running back of all time. Yeah. There's a bunch of kids in overseas wearing Tyler Alger jerseys.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Running around.
Connor Rogers
Be unbelievable.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
Oh, man. All right. Parker Washington is available this week unlike Alpier Susan.
Jay Croucher
Not in our league.
Connor Rogers
59% available. He's got the Chargers seven targets last week. Matthew, the punt return. Touchdown. He caught a touchdown. Parker Washington is just a consistent part of this offense.
Jay Croucher
Yeah. I mean in terms of utilization score among all wide receivers in Week 7. Since Week 7, he's wide receiver 15. In terms of utilization score, he's got a utilization score of 79. Again, it's on a scale of 1 to 100. Shout out to Dwayne McFarland of FantasyLife.com who puts those utilization scores together, but it's a really easy number to sort of let you know. Like is this a part time player that just got lucky in a couple of plays or is he out there a ton and he's out there a ton. 79 as a, as a utilization score. Again, top 15 wide receiver in that he got 75% of the Jaguars red zone targets last week. 75% like Parker Washington who's like your size. I mean like they're doing it, but they are.
Connor Rogers
Don't overlook us smaller people.
Jay Croucher
Jacoby Myers will ramp up a little bit here and we don't know the status of btj, but he is clearly. They clearly like him and he has carved out a role in this Jacksonville offense.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, we'll see the continued health of Brian Thomas Jr. Ved Parker or Trey Tucker this week.
Connor Rogers
That's a good one.
Jay Croucher
It is a good one because Trey Tucker of course plays the Cowboys who allow the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. I think here's what I would answer and I'm sort of sitting on the fence here. If I needed floor, the answer is Parker Washington. If I want to swing for the fences, it's Trey Tucker. I feel like there's a. If you're telling me one of these guys gets 25 points, I think it's Trey Tucker. If you're telling me one of them gets 12 and one of them has zero, I think it's Parker Washington. Like I just. I agree with that much wider range of outcomes for Trey Tucker.
Matthew Berry
Yep. Two guys who have Geno Smith as their quarterback.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, basically. That's right. Yeah. I mean Parker, Trevor Lawrence is Geno Smith with better hair.
Connor Rogers
We've said this before, it'll catch on eventually. Tez Johnson, 67% available. Some are calling him a touchdown merchant. Tess Johnson, which is speaking of small guys shocking at 160 pounds, he's got the Bills. He had five targets, four catches, 42 yards and two touchdowns last week. But yeah, I think it's more so just that he has to be a part of this offense with all of the injuries, the pass catchers they have, it's not like he's going anywhere.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. Right now it helps as well that Luke Gettyke is back to give a bit more protection for deeper shots down the field. Run game hasn't been what it was last year with Liam Cohen out, the interior offensive line banged up and no Bucky Irving. So yeah, this is a passing attack and it runs through a mechareg Buuka primarily. But Tez Johnson has a material role in this offense. You can see the targets are the key thing because of how deep he gets. Nine, six, five. That's all you want from Tez Johnson. That's perfectly served. So I think that he is a viable flex guy. The touchdowns are going to regress, but, you know, I would expect him to get 5, 6 targets and be a 40 to 50 receiving yards per game guy who has a chance at a touchdown.
Jay Croucher
They play the Bills this week in Buffalo. 49 and a half is the current over under. It's a game that you want to target here. Two good offenses as well. No Godwin, no Evans. Like, you'll see some KDOT and we'll talk about him in a second. But you know, Sterling Shepherd's not doing anything. And every once in a while they'll throw Cameron Johnson out there. But it has. It's a pretty good passing offense. Baker is one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and it literally is a mecca. Buka and then Tez Johnson.
Matthew Berry
Can you explain this Bill's defense to me about why they looked amazing against Patrick Mahomes and then got torched by Tuatagovailloa?
Connor Rogers
Well, with Mahomes, they did a really good job of playing coverage and making him hold the ball. And there was just nowhere to go where. With the Dolphins, it's the exact opposite everything. Number one, Mike McDaniel is still one of the best running game coordinators in football. We can laugh at him, we can make jokes about him, people talking about him potentially being fired. He's one of the brightest minds in orchestrating a run game in football. Devon Hn went nuts against them. And the Bills are not good at the second level tackling. But the pass game for the Dolphins is. The ball's just immediately out and then you have to tackle, make the Bills tackle. And with Mahomes, who has been really good in the quick game this year, that game just got away from them where it was drop back, deep drop and trying to get it all. And the Bills offense was so much better in that game that they dictated the pace of play.
Jay Croucher
They also. Bill, sorry to interrupt you. No, but I was just saying, like, also, I mean, like, Bill's had some bad turnovers, so shorter field position for the Dolphins. It was. I feel like it was raining a little bit in there. There too. It was like. It just didn't feel like great. And then. And then the other thing is, is that again, like the Dolphins, for all their challenges, they do have speed right between H.N. waddle. Malik Washington, I know he's not a huge part and a touchdown but. Right. But they have to deal with him. And so like you're just suddenly you're just on your heels. Like you especially if it's like slippery grass or whatever, they take one cut and you're just, you're done. Like they just, they do have world class speed on that team. So that's maybe one thought there as well.
Connor Rogers
Deeper league targets.
Matthew Berry
Who knows?
Jay Croucher
But who knows? I mean like two thoughts next time. Yeah, just you know. Yeah. Proud fantasy life investor Josh Allen deserves better.
Connor Rogers
Deeper league targets donTavion Wicks Week 11 against the Giants, who they've been. Their secondary has been awful since balls in the debo went down. It's just not been pretty. And Romeo Dobbs got banged up.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, we'll talk about that game next segment. But yeah, he left with a chest injury. Matthew golden was inactive in that game as well. Obviously. Still no Jaden Reed. So Dontavin Wicks, who had a 24% target share last week, you know, he's out there along with Christian Watson. It doesn't, you know, you see with Christian Watson there as well, I like, you know, I also like Watson from a talent perspective. Some other guys here. DJ Moore got banged up. Luther Burden, 49% of the routes last week. That was a season high. Jaden Higgins randomly has scored two touchdowns in the past three weeks. He's gotten multiple end zone targets in a couple of games here.
Connor Rogers
That's what he has to do though. That's his game. Big bodied possession, red zone kind of player. So good to see him getting more work. They're trusting their young wide receivers more.
Jay Croucher
And we talked about Tucker a little bit earlier off of the question. But again, playing the Cowboys, good matchup for offense. That needs some answers.
Connor Rogers
Matthew, I know you love Tyler Schuck. Content.
Jay Croucher
Sure.
Connor Rogers
So we're going to keep it rolling. Let's listen to Juwan Johnson on the Schuckmeister.
Jay Croucher
I'm shucking interested. When you feel like your quarterback is confident, that gives a lot of other people confidence. And so, you know, just knowing that he's going out there playing with a lot of confidence, playing with a lot of swagger, playing with a lot of moxie, I feel like that's kind of the biggest thing and what, you know, propels an offense. I think, you know, when you have someone who is, you know, not as sure and really just making the decisive things, I feel like that's kind of hard. And you know, I feel like we've kind of embodied that. I mean, I feel like we've had that all year. But you know, it's just, you know, obviously, you know, when Tyler's in there, you know, he's just out there. He's just going to play some ball.
Connor Rogers
Number one is Joanne Johnson.
Jay Croucher
Okay, it's fine.
Connor Rogers
I think that was shot on a potato in a white room.
Jay Croucher
It does look like it's a hostage video. Yeah, like, you know, he's just like a plain white room. He's in sunglasses. But you know what, listen, I will hear no Juwan Johnson slander on this show. He's shucking. Awesome, right? He won me a title in year one, obviously against Stupid Dev. The first of my back to back titles.
Connor Rogers
By the way, little Marvin Harrison, Jacobi Brissette vibes in that presser, when he's talking about Chuck, he's like, oh man, this guy. It's like faces lighting up.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, exactly.
Connor Rogers
When guys do that, believe them.
Jay Croucher
Oh yeah, that's a little Des Bryanty.
Connor Rogers
That's my quarterback is very excited about Tyler Schuck.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, the poor rat man getting directly on the bus.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, it is what it is. Tough scene for him. But Juwan Johnson plays, plays tight end. He's, you know, he's been a part of this now. He's going to be on a buy this week as well. So some other tight ends that are available include Kate Otten, who we just.
Connor Rogers
Talked about 12 targets in week 10 for Kate Otten who is prone to having weeks like this. When all else fails in their pass catching group, Baker will lock on to him. It's just a matter of Jay, if you believe in the consistency of it, but maybe a shootout script here, that.
Matthew Berry
Would be the hope is that Josh Allen coming off that rough week should be able to move the ball against the Bucks secondary and the Baker's gonna have to be able to keep up. And so Kate on It's just he has these stretches, they just disappears in and out. It's just he can't do what's coming.
Jay Croucher
Week to week over the last two years. If you look at his numbers without Mike Evans. I know, which is weird because they're obviously such different types of players. But just for whatever reason, when Mike Evans is out, Kate Otten is somebody that Baker looks to. He's five straight games now with at least five targets. He had a 28% target share last week, believe it or not. Again, it's a, you know, low Bar to clear because of the tight end position. But since week five he's a top ten fantasy tight end on a points per game basis. He's had double digit fantasy points in four of the past five. Again he's more of a floor than a ceiling guy but just you know at the tight end position that's all you're hoping for. Another more floor than ceiling guy is Dalton Schultz.
Connor Rogers
Conner target share is ridiculous. They throw him the ball in the flats. If you're in ppr, he's going to get his. You always have a chance for a touchdown with Dalton Schultz. But what I like about him is we talk about all these touchdown dependent tight ends. That is not necessarily him. As you look at two of the four of these he had double digit points without a touchdown. So this is somebody that could just chew up a lot of catches and yards. Jay, in a Texans passing attack that there hasn't been a lot of consistency but he's been consistent.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. And the good thing is that he's been able to do this with both Stroud and Davis Mills. He had the big game against the Seahawks then do much against the Niners. For the Texans they had. They had the running the ball the entire game and they were playing with the lead there. Probably only playing with the lead against Tennessee but they're gonna have to throw for some stretch and whether it is Stroud or Davis Mills, Davis Mills isn't very good and he wasn't great against the Jags but he showed that he could get the ball to Dalton Schultz.
Connor Rogers
Theo Johnson also on this list. Matthew 58% available. He's coming off a week with eight targets. The only thing with this one is I almost games of the packers for fantasy have just been gross year wide and then also what is this quarterback situation going to look like?
Jay Croucher
That's the problem is do we expect Jackson Dart to play this week under a new coaching staff or at least a new interim head coach for the New York Giants. The other thing is he's sort of been. He's been very touchdown dependent with Dart. Like they use him a lot on the goal line. All that said 25% target share last week season highs in receptions and receiving yards since Dart became the starter. He's averaging basically 12 fantasy points per game, has a 20% target share and is also a top 10 fantasy tight end on a points per game basis. I'm with you. The reason why we have him below Kate Ottner Dalton Schultz is we don't know what the quarterback situation is going to Be we don't love the matchup at home against the packers this week, which are all just sort of these ugly slogs. But I do think Theo Johnson has some talent. I liked him out of Penn State. Connor, second year, seems to be developing. He's somebody we talked about in the preseason as a guy that. That the. What we knew the Giants liked a lot.
Connor Rogers
Right. And he's a pass catcher, first at tight end that's developing the rest of his game. And he's. He's got good size and athleticism in the middle of the field. It's just this one feels like to me, if the Giants came out today or tomorrow, like we're going to give Jameis a look. I'm like, maybe with Russ. Yeah, there's just better options.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. No, I agree. Fantasy wise, real life wise, Jameis is just a lot more exciting. Jameis going up against Micah Parsons head to head.
Jay Croucher
Why not right now?
Matthew Berry
Yeah, we've seen Russ. We've seen enough of Russ. Russ had the one game against Dallas in battle defense. Outside of that, it's really been a mess.
Jay Croucher
The other thing that's so weird is that it's just been such a terrible season for the Giants. They just fired their head coach. Like, the fan base is angry once again. And I mean, like, it seems like the reporting is that, you know, Joe Shane is going to lead.
Connor Rogers
He's leading the coaching.
Jay Croucher
The coaching search. So they're like, apparently they're not fully cleaning house. And so the fan base is like, what the. What is going on with this? Why wouldn't you start? Jameis Wilson, who the fan base loves, who everyone loves. Yeah, it doesn't. At this point, it doesn't matter. You're not going anywhere this year. So, like, why not give Jameis a start and just have some fun with it?
Connor Rogers
Yeah, maybe it gives a little bump for the locker room that, you know, Russ just doesn't have right now. Dart gave that to the locker room. They looked different when Dart started to play. That's going to be up to interim coach Mike Kafka. So we will see.
Jay Croucher
I like Matt Kafka, by the way.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, I want to see what he can do. Yeah, let's see what he could do. Colson Loveland, also on our list at 54 available. Jay. Obviously we were expecting a little bit of regression week, but still, four catches for 55 yards.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I think that's kind of all you need and what you would expect. So Colson Loveland has turned the corner. Kyler Williams, I think gets looking progressively better and better as well more comfortable in this offense. Minnesota is a difficult matchup but it should be there should be game script enough for Colson Loveland to be starter worthy.
Connor Rogers
To recap the top tight end targets Dawson Knox also on our list Matthew just because of the status of Dalton Kincaid.
Jay Croucher
Yeah he might be banged up now. They use multiple tight ends. They use Jackson Dawes as well but we do like Dawson Knox played 70 had was had a 77% route participation in week six once Dalton Kincaid went out. So you see it there on your screen. So Juwan Johnson, he's not playing this week but he's available in over 50% of league. He's our top pick. If you don't need somebody this week then you've got Otten and Schultz, Theo Johnson, as we just mentioned coast and Loveland who over the last four games has had a higher route participation than Cole Komet. So even when Komet's been healthy it's been more to the Loveland show lately.
Connor Rogers
If you need a defense the Falcons against the Panthers 89% available the Falcons defense and fantasy has been pretty solid this year with all their young talent. The Cowboys which defense defense hasn't been very good.
Matthew Berry
Could be better now though you have.
Connor Rogers
Quinn and Williams debut. That should help a lot against the Raiders offense which has had their struggles. And then the Bears against the Vikings after McCarthy threw a couple picks last week 71% available.
Jay Croucher
He does not. He does not look ready for prime time.
Connor Rogers
We're going to take our first break when we're back. Has DeVonta Smith overtaken AJ Brown as the top wide receiver with the Eagles? We're recapping Monday Night Football after this. See what a beautiful side by side.
Jay Croucher

Monday Night Football the notable fantasy performances Josh Jacobs at the top. Devonta Smith Good call. Matthew clears the 54 and a half receiving yard. Last night especially, he had the only real big play in this game which was the only play felt like the only play where you actually stepped and went like, oh, I'm awake. I guess. I mean the real question, all seriousness with the way he's been consistent the last couple weeks now. Devontae Smith or AJ Brown the rest of the season?
Jay Croucher
I'd say devontae Smith. I think it's close. I mean that last play down at the end of the game where like they're on fourth down which is crazy.
Connor Rogers
The stupidity that they went back.
Jay Croucher
Well understand that I'm playing Jay in our league and I'm up and I just, I need Jalen Hurts to be under 14 and a half fantasy points. And I'm like, I'm like right there. He's like at 11 hertz has like 11 or 12 fantasy points. I'm like oh no, what are you doing? And I'm sitting there, jump off. I'm sitting there watching it with my wife and I'm like no, no, no, the packers can't score because I need the Eagles to run the ball. And she's like what is this for? I said, well I'm playing Jay. She's like aren't you like in last place in that league? And I'm like no, no. But you need it. But there you have it. Live at noon in the tube. We are now three and seven brothers. Read it and weep. The chubby leather daddies talked a lot of trash.
Connor Rogers
They really did.
Jay Croucher
But they came into Pete Cockfield and you know. And we got Cox. Yeah, they got. You guys got caught. Yeah, you did.
Matthew Berry
I just want to thank DJ Moore. Thanks a lot of Brock Bowers. Quinton Judkins apparently can't run for more than three yards of carry in this Dylan Gabriel offense. That's okay. It reminds me Matthew. It reminds me. You remember when Lamar Jackson won MVP a couple years ago in like week two as a year they were like the. The favorites once do well then week two they lost to the Garden of Minshew Raiders. That's what like this was that blip on the radio, blip on the radar missing.
Jay Croucher
And just in case you're saying like again you see how ugly my team is how I pieced it together to defeat Jay, my score was so low by the only team I could have beaten you was you in our league by the way. But I have Stafford as my second quarterback there as well. I think it's Devontae Smith though. Six of the eight games they played together this year. Devonte Smith and A.J. brown. Smith has outscored him like again he just for people forget this guy was considered like one of the great wide receivers out of Alabama Roll Tide. Heisman won the Heisman. That's right. And everyone's like again, he's a smaller guy. Yeah, he's just, he's a smaller guy. The slim reaper. But like it's not like he's just like, you know what I mean? Like I just like he's a Dotson. Right? Exactly. Like he's a legit great wide receiver and so like they'll be ranked closer together. But yes, I think, I think moving forward I would rather I will rank DeVontae Smith higher than A.J. brown this week on the Eagles.
Matthew Berry
Yep. Agreed. Time to drop Jordan Love.
Connor Rogers
Yeah, I mean in our two quarterback league I'll hold onto him but I won't start him over. My other options, there's just no consistency in this team. They're big play hunting or they just run the ball in between the tackles.
Jay Croucher
There's nothing else on the season he's quarterback 16 on a points per game basis. He's been under 16 points in six of his nine games. He's finished higher than QB 16 only once in the last five games. Jay, I know you once attached your previously good name to Jordan Love, but I think he's a better real life quarterback than fantasy option.
Matthew Berry
I think that they've just reached critical mass with the lack of weapon like Tucker Craft going down as a killer like Jaden Reed coming back will help eventually. Matthew golden, like it'll get better, I think. But the offensive line as well, he's under siege. It's just, it's not a great ecosystem at the moment and Love is not, you know, he's not a top five quarterback in football to be able to overcome that.
Jay Croucher
If I was, if I was in elite in a one quarterback league and Jordan Love was on the waiver wire, I would not pick him up. So issue in a one quarterback league to drop him as well. Tough game, you know, whatever. Herz was brutal. Barkley was brutal, but it was a low scoring game. It is what it is, you know, just, you know.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Connor Rogers
We're taking our last break. When we're back, our favorite early week bets on sides and totals. Last call right after.
Jay Croucher

Oh, the crown is yours.
Matthew Berry
Crown is yours.
Connor Rogers
The crown will be ours. It's time for last call early line of alert as you see the opening spreads and totals. Jay, what do you got this week?
Matthew Berry
Think Cowboys minus three and a half in Vegas. Don't know if you've seen the Vegas offensive line lately, Connor, but it's basically the three of us, Stone Forsyth and DJ Gladys Quinn Williams. Yeah, against Quinn Williams. Donovan as Rock who's playing great as well. I think this Cowboys defense is going to look more confident the rest of the way.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, by the way, 15 and a half is the. I would take the under on that. I think both these defenses.
Matthew Berry
I don't think Gino can participate in a 51 point game at the moment only against Chapstick.
Jay Croucher
Absolutely not. I'll take the Chiefs minus three and a half. Andy Reid off the bye against Denver again. This fraudulent Broncos team again. Andy Reid off a buy is one of the surest things and yeah, so I'll take the three and a half. I know that key number but whatever I think, I think Mahomes, I think they kill him.
Matthew Berry
If the Chiefs lose this they might miss the playoffs.
Jay Croucher
Yeah for real.
Matthew Berry
They're going to win.
Connor Rogers
I'm going to take a page out of your playbook and bet against the Commanders. The Dolphins are two and a half point favorites. It's in Madrid. I don't love international games, but the Dolphins offense, it can still be really good. The Commander's defense is not competitive.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, they were the best run defense in football the past month, the Dolphins, which is baffling.
Connor Rogers
Very quiet.
Jay Croucher
It is baffling.
Connor Rogers
All right.
Jay Croucher
It's closing time, which means you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. For Jay Croucher and Connor Rogers, I'm Matthew Berry. Good luck in waivers tonight. We'll see you tomorrow. Peace out. Tis the season of gifting and holes to deck.
Matthew Berry
And the who's in Whoville were in.
Jay Croucher
Love with new tech. Where can we find Sonos and Samsung and Nintendo? They shouted. Would they find it in one place? Alec Pierce (Colts) – CONSISTENT, but on bye. Worth a roster spot.

Trey Tucker (Raiders)
Tez Johnson (Bucs)
Deeper WRs: DonTavion Wicks, Luther Burden, Jaden Higgins
