All those words probably run out of them because that was just I'm at all man. There's only one that can have it better than us. Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry. Happy Monday.
C
Welcome to the Fantasy Football Happy hour. That's right. We're back. And boy are the are the Los Angeles Chargers. That was a fired up Jim Harbaugh in the locker room after another victory, another division victory.
B
Yeah. Undertaker gift for the ride or die.
A
That's right. Yeah. That's right. Bolt up, baby. Bolt up. I'm representing my ride or die. Amarian Hampton. I said I would not die. I would continue to ride. People were questioning it in week one, they were questioning it in week number two. And yet in week three. 25 touches he had 26 total touches in the first two weeks, but 25 touches in week number three, a 15% target share. Connor Rodgers. Not bad. And 100% of the Chargers goal to go rushes so far this season, including 71% of their red zone rushes. As we get into the road to world player news, and that's the headline. Amarian Hampton, baby. Number eight on the field, number one in your hearts. Fantasy ride or die. Suck it, haters. Yeah, you heard me. You know what? No, in all seriousness, everyone was doubting it. Everyone was like, we did something last week on this show on Keep it open or close it out. I said, I am keeping it open on him. I understand. And people are like, you know, what about this guy? What about that? What about this guy? All the other people that people wanted me to suggest, and I said, no, no, no. I'm sticking with Omarion Hampton, who scores 24.9 fantasy points. You see it right there on your screen. As we head into Monday Night Football, Jay Croucher. And I understand you're always concerned about Keaton Mitchell going off, but as we head into Monday Night Football.
B
Wonderful pluck.
A
Yeah, exactly. He might be active. There's a chance he's active, Jay. But as we head into Monday Night Football, Omarion Hampton is the number two running back in fantasy for week number three. And nothing in this performance struck me as fluky. The thing that was most exciting to me, Connor, because he's always looked the part.
C
Yep.
A
But the thing that was most exciting to me is they were. They were able to create space for him and they were comfortable using him in the passing game. To me, that was the key. Yeah.
C
Finally they got him the ball in space a couple times. You know how good he is in the open field, how hard charging of a downhill runner he is. And then also we said all week, eventually the pendulum is going to have to swing back the other way. The Chargers were throwing at an alarming rate, not just by Greg Roman's standards, but by any team's standards. And then finally it opened up some space for them to run the ball and throw to the ball to their first round pick. And Jim Harbaugh talked about just how impressed he was with that performance against a good Broncos defense.
A
Yeah, Marion, man, what a game he had. How about that? What? I mean, he was. I mean, he had. That was gritty. I mean, there was, I mean, work. I mean, he put that work in today, and he was running with a purpose, you know, gritty performance by him. I was, I mean, just always lunging forward. Surging forward. I think he caught the ball five or six times too, out of the backfield and added 70 yards in the, in the run game. I mean he, he, he had a heck of a game.
B
Not really sure what. That was.
A
Amazing. I always feel like, like there was somebody in his ear saying, yeah, Hampton plays for us. Yeah, he's a running back. Jamari man. Oh yeah. It's like, it was like all processing.
B
It reminded me of my. I took my younger Australian brother to the Yankees game a couple weeks. It was like him watching baseball for the first time. Geez. Aaron Judge hits the ball far, doesn't he? Yeah.
A
Martin Hampton.
C
Yep.
B
Good running back.
A
Seven targets. Ultimately 6 for 59 in the passing game for Amari and Hampton. And look. Yes, thank you. Oh, vet FF happy hour. Regular vet. He, he might make the list. Later this week we are releasing the first set of fantasy people happy hour power.
B
The committee has to meet first.
A
Yeah, obviously the committee meets on Tuesday and then we'll release the power range.
C
Nice try.
A
Vid on Wednesday. I like it. Yes. Yeah. And here. And Daniel, Daniel Moultrie. The ankles will be sweating due to his multiple victory laps around Hampton. They won't be sweating. Oh no. These ankles are ready to run.
C
They're in good shape.
A
There's been no victory laps. They're fresh.
C
They are very fresh.
A
There's been no victory laps the first two weeks, so. Yeah, exactly.
B
So Hampton Fritt up borderline RB1 going forward, I think.
A
Yes, obviously. Look, take a moment here. Obviously his workload is going to massively incredible performance but one that was made possible by the unfortunate injury to Najee Harris. And again we're not going to celebrate Najee Harris injury. We've had some fun with Najee over the years, but you never want to see any player go down like that. It looked pretty serious, Connor.
C
Yeah, it did. Obviously we all know what that, you know, a potential Achilles looks like at this point. Unfortunately we're very exposed to what it looks like non contact wise. So that's a massive one because this backfield right now who's supposed to be Amarian Hampton, some Najee Harris after that it's Hassan Haskins. You look at their practice squad, Kamani Vidal, like there's not established guys they wanted a vet. They brought in Najee as a veteran for behind Hampton in case anything happens and now it's just clearly all Amari and Hampton.
A
They're going to. They'll sign a free agent. Like they, they'll need to add depth to that running back room but no one that's currently available. And even if they trade Jay, I don't know who, you know what I mean?
B
Like, I don't think it really matters that much.
C
I don't matter right now.
A
No, no, no. It is going to be all Omarion Hampton. And look at the upcoming schedule. They're at the Giants next week, home to Washington, at Miami, home to Indianapolis. Now, the Giants have a good defensive line. You know, my commanders aren't terrible. Colts are solid, but like, none of those defenses scare you the way some of the defenses they played in the first two week here. It should be smooth sailing, just massive workload. Yes. I think a clear cut RB1, Omarion Hampton. My fantasy Ride or Die will ride teams to the fantasy playoffs. Week eight, they play the Vikings on a short week. You don't love that matchup. But then at the Titans, home to the Steelers, you're not worried about that. At the Jaguars in week 11, then the fantasy playoffs. Okay. At the chiefs in week 15, that might be a tougher matchup. But at the Cowboys in week 16, who knows what the Texans are gonna look like in week 17. The way that seat.
B
Texans are back in October.
A
Exactly. Yeah, exactly. So I just, I think, you know, hopefully, you know, obviously assuming health RB1 the rest of the way. Ride or die. Looking great again. Number two running back in fantasy football as we head and football number eight on the field, but number one in your hearts, Omarion Hampton.
B
Yeah, I'm glad. I have a lot of charges exposure this year, a lot of positive charges, but otherwise this would be insufferable. But you on the Chargers bandwagon.
A
Bolt off.
B
I'm with you.
A
Bolt up. Yeah.
B
Bolt up. Yes.
A
Go Chargers, go.
B
Waiting for that. I think one reason you feel really good about Amarian Hampton, Matthew, is that his quarterback is just the boss. Justin Herbert's playing like a top three quarterback in the NFL through the first three weeks. But a little bit of uncertainty kind of around these pass catches where, you know, Keenan Allen's the guy who catches the touchdown and Quentin Johnson continues.
C
That's the craziest part.
B
He just looks the part as well. Qj, look, it looks suspiciously like a first round draft pick.
C
When they took Trey Harris on day two of the draft, you're like, oh, man, they. They want out of the QJ experience. Yeah, that's what it felt like.
A
And by the way, if you'd watch football each of the last two years, you're sort of like, I get it.
C
Yeah, totally in. And then Trey Harris had a Roller coaster. Summer didn't do enough to really establish himself and QJ's been better. There's no way denying it now. The ripple effect here. Matthew, is Keenan Allen having a really nice floor each week? QJ getting a good target share. Lad McConkey has been underwhelming by his standards in fantasy back to back games.
A
With under 50 receiving yards, just a 15% target share on Sunday. Connor, his target share has actually decreased every single week. It's heading in the wrong direction every single game. It's only been three. But every single game he's been outscored by both Kenan Allen and Quinton Johnson and he has zero, count them, zero end zone targets. So he's not getting the volume that we saw last year. They're not looking for him when he didn't get close. And one of the. Here's the weird part for me because I don't think he's a bad wide receiver. Like, I mean Connor, we talked about this like last year. We were like, well why is he getting all this work? Is he just, is it just. He's the only guy in town. He's always open and he's always open. We're like, no, we think this is a talented kid. This is somebody that showed this potential at Georgia. He was somewhat of a part time player for the Bulldogs, but still he was somebody that like he was a second round pick, right?
C
He didn't play inside, outside. I mean there wasn't really a lot of questions besides his size, but he was athletic enough that it didn't matter. So I think a little Omarion Hampton combo here though, where I keep saying the pendulum swing like teams are trying to make sure lad McConkey doesn't beat them.
B
I would make lad McConkey still a pretty heavy favorite to be wide receiver one for the Chargers from this point forward. He's just too good. The talent is there. He's their one guy who's going to beat man coverage because also he like his stats lie yesterday, like watch the game like he's drawing penalties, pass interference calls. I think that lad McConkey is the number one guy for the Chargers because.
A
You have to understand, think about if you're a defensive coordinator, right? And everyone that's playing the Chargers this year, they spent the off season, all the defensive coordinators in the defense of the teams that are playing LA this year, they looked at the schedule and they looked at this. All right, how we, how do we want to attack them? Well, we'll see what they get out of the running back. They don't know yet. You know they got a rookie in Najee Harris. Okay. And they're like, well, they just signed Kenan Allen. Does Keenan Allen have anything left? Like he was, he wasn't, you know, he was unsigned for a long time. He was out there for a while. Quinton Johnson, like, look at this tape from last year. Anyone worried about this guy dropping the ball? And so, and so I think teams probably said like let's, let's prove that Keenan Allen and QJ can beat us. And they are also expecting a run. First team, teams will now have to adjust. By the way, Johnny Dangerly says, I'm worried about my lad. He's a four beer play now. If you know, you know, I don't think he's a four beer play. I appreciate that. Johnny Dangerly. A reference to one of the segments we have on fantasy football. Pregame every Sunday morning at 11am you missed yesterday.
B
It's a tough show. Yeah, there's a lot of weird.
C
What were some of the low lights?
A
How long do you have?
B
There's a new nickname for Matthew. Hashtag Baby Oilberry.
C
I want nothing to do with Sunday.
B
A lot of talk about I'll still.
C
Choose the jets no matter how many times.
B
The baby oil stuff was tough.
A
Yeah. Yeah. It was a tough scene with the Flip club too.
B
Matthew disgraced himself on national television streaming services. Very tough scene. Again, flip a cup.
A
But, but all I just want to say is it's like the Keenan Allen thing was. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm like, I'm actually not panicking on lad. I actually still think he might be a little bit of a, of a buy low. Although weirdly, I don't think Allen or QJ are sell highs. I think this is somewhat legitimate. I mean Kenan Allen didn't do much in the first half of this game and then, then as they were starting to come back, he, he opened up and then, you know, the, the touchdown. It seemed like that was kind of a broken play. It did not seem like that was.
B
Where he does though.
A
I know, right?
B
QJ is a bit of a sell high. I don't think this is going to sustain. Like if Vlad has to go up, one of these guys has to go down and I feel like Quentin Johnson is going to go down. I feel like Ken Allen just kind of is what he is. Like they have the rapport. I feel like it's more likely like who's it more likely has like a 2 for 29 week. QJ or Keenan Allen.
A
I think it's QJ, of course, 100%. I guess I just think the Chargers are passing it so much so higher over expected. And Herbert, to your point, looks great. They're three and oh, and they've won three divisional games. So I don't know why the Chargers suddenly say like, hey, we need to go back to ground and pound, like it's working and so until somebody stops it. And so QJ gives him that deep threat. He, he's so big. Like the. I think about that pass down to the, on the right side of the sideline where basically Herbert threw a jump ball and just QJ went up, right, and just went up and got it.
B
And that was tight end day though.
A
Well, exactly. They don't have a tight end and like they don't have anyone that has that kind of, you know, 50, 50 ball winning skills like QJ does. And so Herbert, yes, it was a trust throw and more importantly, he came down with it. Like I don't know, I thought that was a big play. And the drops haven't been nearly as much of an issue for QJ this year as they, as they were in previous seasons. So I'm kind of, I'm kind of buying it. I don't think he continues this level of production, but he's absolutely a fantasy starter to me and needs to be rostered in any league that he's not for some reason.
C
Our next game, guys. Rams Eagles. I apologize if you had the Rams spread.
A
There's not worse. Yeah, I don't. Nothing to talk about with the Denver Broncos, by the way. I don't know.
C
No, we didn't. I mean fantasy wise, not really.
A
It was a return to normalcy for Cortland Sutton. J.K. dobbins. Nice game and a revenge loss. All right, now we can move on to a bad beat. This is. Yes. If you had Rams moneyline.
C
This is.
A
Yeah.
C
When you have like a 350 pound player returning a block kick to kill your spread.
A
But Jay, what are the odds? I mean this, like what do you think? In essence, Basically I brought this point up last night on the Football night in America pod. The play that everyone talks about, rightfully so is the block punt. Jordan Davis, £300, scoop and score. Yeah, the block of the field goal. I'm sorry, Blocks the field goal attempt. Scoop and score by a 300 pound defensive lineman. Crazy play. But to me that's not the play. Like to me, as, as you know, mind blowing as that play was, if they fall on the Ball, they still win the game. You know, just the fact that, you know, this 300 pound guy ran the whole way and outrun him. One touchdown. The craziest part is that was the second field goal in a row that they blocked. And so if I tell you with five minutes to go or whatever it is, that in order for the Rams to lose, they need to have two.
B
Field goals blocked from makeable range.
A
From makeable range. Like, what are the odds at that point?
B
I mean, I don't know what percentage of field goals get blocked. Off the top of my head, it would be like 3, 4%, like max. So you're basically 3% times 3%. So 30 to 1 times 30 to 1. So, yeah, 9001. Like it's, it's quite a lot.
C
Yesterday, five field goals were blocked. I think that's the most in a day. As long as they've been tracking it. I'll get more confirmation on that. But you had also just wild plays. Like, well, McDonald returns one, you had the Eagles blocking two you had just. It just was insane. Yeah, blocking.
B
I think it'd be around a thousand to one.
A
Yeah, yeah. That type of range, I mean, I mean just, you know, and you've got to be, I mean, like if you're Matthew Stafford, if you're Devonte Adams, like if you're Sean McVeigh, you're just like.
B
Hurts also had to convert fourth and goal. Like, game's over. If he doesn't convert that I will say, for all the criticism of Jalen Hurts, I do think there are some limitations to his game. That guy's heart rate is so steady in these big moments. He is as clutch as it gets. It just feels inevitable at this point, which is strange because he doesn't have like the aura of a Josh Allen or a Lamar Jackson or Patrick Mahomes. But in these moments when, when he has to have it, it just feels like he's going to deliver.
A
He's like this, he's just this, this silent assassin, this quiet killer, you know.
C
Even celebrate at the end, right.
A
He's not, he's not a guy that's like, oh, you know, and like in Josh Allen's jumping around and Baker Mayfield's, you know, chest bumping people, everything like that, you know, Jalen Hurts is sort of like, you know, on next week. Exactly. You know, quarterbacks. He really is.
C
That's what it reminds me of. You get nothing. The block kick. They had a camera on him on the sideline. Everyone's Nick Sirianni is running for his life. And Jalen Hurts is just walking straight with this deadpan face.
A
Got that?
B
He's playing into the bit a little bit.
A
Sure. Oh, no.
C
In his clothes. It's fine.
B
Yeah, I'm here for it.
A
Yeah, he's done.
B
Super bowl mvp. All he does is win.
A
Yeah, it is really fantastic. I mean, just so many clutch plays and it is, it feels a little bit like, you know, last year with the Chiefs, we sort of said this, you know, they can't keep getting away with this. How do they keep finding ways to win? This is ridiculous. You know, they also. The Chiefs last year, remember, they beat the Broncos on a blocked field goal. And so once again, the Eagles, I mean to get back to back block field goal field goals and also. Right. Converting the fourth down and getting the touchdown. Like it's.
B
The story to me though is that if the Eagles, whose offense looked terrible in the passing game the first two weeks, the way that the bottom would really fall out of them would be if A.J. brown had kind of turned into Alan Robinson. Like that was the fear. Allen Robinson fell off Clifford like 28 as well. And that's how old AJ Brown is. No, he's not. Alan Robson. AJ Brown, still, AJ Brown, he looked magnificent. He was the guy they went to repeatedly with the game on the line. Devonte Smith looked good as well. This looked very much Matthew, like the Eagles offense that we've seen the past couple of years.
A
Literally like 101 passing yards for Hertz last week, two weeks ago, it was 151. So yeah, when they needed to, they turned it on. 21 of 32, 226 and three touchdowns. Most of that in the second half. The three touchdowns definitely came in the second half, but the majority of the passing yards as well for, for, for Jalen hurts 32 pass attempts. The last time he had more than this was week four of last season. First game with three touchdown passes since week 17 of 2023. But it's just, it's nice to know that it's there. I don't know that we expect this every single time, but it's nice to know that like when they do need to turn that on, they can. I don't know that we're out of the woods fantasy wise though with AJ Brown again, they had. It was. They had to be down basically three scores to finally said, all right, screw it, we're going to. We're going to throw.
B
And they're picking on Emmanuel Forbes like it's not a great secondary.
C
Forbes always makes his Way back.
B
I know what's almost.
A
You know what? I said that in the, I said that in the screening room and Devin McCourtin was like, Forbes is playing well this year.
C
It's been better since he got out of Washington. Just got a fresh start. Yeah, better. Better since not first round pick.
A
Better since he got out from under Ron Rivera's coaching. We can say it.
B
What's wrong? Why, why can't they generate explosives with Saquon? His first three weeks. He hasn't had one long run in three weeks.
C
It is very weird. I mean, the line is now a little banged up. There's been. I know Lane Johnson was hurt at one point in this game as well, but it just doesn't feel like. I think number one teams are definitely bracing for it. Like we talked about that week one where they were like anyone else try to beat us.
B
It's only four games in a row.
A
So.
B
Because the super bowl, he didn't do anything either.
C
Right. I don't think it's anything to do with Saquon. Yeah, I think it's absolutely the way teams are loading up and playing against them. And back to your point, Matthew, just about. Do you like, do you believe this is actually sustainable for out of the woods? Yeah. A.J. brown had some really interesting thoughts on the offense in general after the game.
A
I truly believe, man, we got so many good players on this team, you.
C
Know, and, and at times, you know.
A
You can feel like we're being conservative and I don't think it should be like that. You know, I think it should, you know, let your, let your killers do their thing, you know, and play fast and play aggressive. I'm not saying that we haven't been, but you know, me personally, that's what I would like. You know, obviously we're going to run the ball and we're going to set up the run off the pass and the pass off the run. But you know, we have a lot of good players and we have. And I feel like you should just let us go, you know, so, you know, so it shouldn't be like that.
C
The translation of that to me is he's saying, I could do this every week. Yeah, we just have to try to play this way.
A
And we're not. And my expectation is we're not going to play like this every week. He's like, it just sort of, you know, like we have a lot, basically we have a lot of good players on this team and we got to spread the ball around. I actually think that if I had AJ Brown or Devonta Smith. I would look to try to sell high or sell close to market value that like a they're back everything like that. Because I don't. I think this is. Like I said, it had to be perfect game script for them to actually start throwing it. And like the first two weeks they didn't throw it at all and they win. You know what I mean? So it's just like. And then you look at their upcoming schedule. They're at Tampa Bay, home to Denver. You're going to be able to run on Denver at the Giants. Going to be able to run on the Giants and they're at Minnesota. Like I just, I don't know. I don't know that A.J. brown is going to return. Consistent top 10 fantasy wide receiver production week in, week out. Given the run heavy nature of this team. And that's where you drafted him as right. I would, if I could get more or less close to full market value for either Brown or Smith, I would take it.
C
Would you trade him for lad McConkey?
A
I don't think that's full market value because McConkey was a. Was a top. Was a wide receiver too.
C
Right.
A
But. And you're now. And I think at their value right now, McConkey is. So here's the. So that's a good question though because it's a value question versus a negotiation question. So the question is who would I rather have rest of the season, brown or McConkey? I think I'd rather have McConkey. But would I trade brown for McConkey? No, I think I could get more than McConkey. Does that make any sense? Yeah, makes a ton of sense, I don't think. Yeah, so that's what I would say there.
C
This one from httc. What RB one would you target with AJ Brown?
A
Hampton.
C
That's what comes to mind right away.
B
I'd rather have Marian Hampton than A.J. brown, but I think that most people would now and the cat might be out of the bag.
C
Kyron Williams.
A
Kyron Williams.
C
I mean even in this game you had Blake Corm getting more work again, but it doesn't feel like that's taking Kyron Williams.
A
I'd trade and you might be able to get this because the manager of him might be really frustrated. Now give me Chase Brown. How about A.J. brown for let's chay Browns? My brownler for your Brownler. Yeah. Come on.
C
Things are not going well most of the time for either of us. Yes, things are really not going well for Chase Brown.
A
I know, we're going to get to that for a second. But I'm just saying, like, I think Chase Brown has an unquestioned workload. I think that offense gets better. And so, yes, I would rather have Chase Brown rest of the season than A.J. brown. And I bet you that's a deal you could get done.
C
I would agree. I would think most people would. That have Chase Brown would take A.J. brown.
B
We'd rather have A.J. brown or Quinshon Judkins.
A
Quinshawn Judkins.
B
Yeah, me too. You probably get that trade as well.
A
Yeah, it's a good suggestion.
C
Oh, let's go to the Bengals.
A
I was going to say, do we want to talk about this Rams backfield here for a second?
C
A little bit. I mean, just is Blake Corum's getting more work, but it's not impacting. It's not like Kyron's falling off a cliff because of it. Look at the snap rates. I mean, Kyron, 74% still.
A
Yeah.
C
It's not like it's 60, 40.
A
Yeah. And by the way, 100% of the goal line rushes. He gets 22 touches in this game. And, you know, 116 total yards game script work in the Rams favor for much of the game. But I just think the point here is that. And we can talk about this a little bit more tomorrow, but Kyron Williams, when he's gotten out there. Blake. I'm sorry. Blake Corum, when he's gotten out there, looked really good. Eight for 53. He's averaging over six yards of carry. Look, honestly, to the eye test, Connor looked more explosive than Kyron Williams.
C
Yeah, he's. I mean, he has fresh legs. Right. This is somebody that coming out of college was banged up and really needed some time. But now you're kind of seeing him, you know, in year two look a little bit more fresh. And they probably want to keep Kyron fresh because he's got broken down every year.
A
He's missed games every year this season. Corum now averaging over seven yards per carry over the last two games. And just. I know there was a lot of preseason hype from some analysts around Jarquez Hunter and like, oh, people. I think people sort of left, like, because Blake Corum didn't do anything in his rookie year. They sort of. And the Rams go in and draft Jarquez Hunter there. Well, it's clear that the Rams are out on Corum and they want Hunter and Hunter's the guy. And the answer is like, nope, no. If Blake Corum needs to be rostered in 100% of the leagues because Kyron Williams is rostered in 100% of leagues. And if I had Kyron Williams, I would want to make sure I got Blake Corum. Or if I wanted to screw over the Kyron Williams manager in my league, I would also try to make sure I had Blake Corum because there's real upside there if he gets a significant role.
C
It's a good backfield to own our next game. Guys. The Massacre that was the Bengals against the Vikings. Good Lord. Here's the notable fantasy performances, which is not really much, to be honest with you. Jordan Mason, really good day. No Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason just gets more work now. TJ Hawkinson, as promised, did come back to life this week because a somewhat real quarterback was throwing him the ball and that helped a little bit. I mean Savage, he couldn't do anything with McCarthy and McHockinson's better than that. Not a great day for Jefferson based on expectations. But really, Matthew, I think the story is just, is it panic meter on the Cincinnati offense because this Jake. Jake Browning against Brian Flores sunk a lot of fantasy options.
A
Absolutely brutal. Jamar Chase, Chase Brown, T. Higgins, I think like less than 17 fantasy points combined. Like the three of them less than. Less than Jordan Mason significantly here. So a little bit, I'm a little bit nervous and I do think better days are ahead in this sense. Right. I don't think Jake Browning is as bad as he's seen enough to know that we've seen enough. Like again, this guy was a top 10 fantasy quarterback on a points per game basis in the seven games he played in 2023. And we've looked and so that's a decent sized sample. Same offense, same skill players for the most part. You know, substitute Joe Mixon for Chase Brown, which I'm not sure is a downgrade, honestly. And so even, you know, Joe Mixon two years ago versus Chase Brown, I think that's probably an even swap. But you know, listen, both T. Higgins and Jamar chase averaged under 14 fantasy points per game with Browning. Like their target share was a little bit lower and the offensive line is so brutal. Credit to Brian Flores, the Vikings defense coordinator who called a perfect game. Isaiah Rogers had little I saw this today shout out to Thor Nystrom from Fantasy Life who points this out. But Thor points out that PFF graded Isaiah Rogers 99.9 like a perfect game score like for the first time.
C
So hard to do.
A
Which is. I don't. I think I've ever seen that before saying that.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so.
A
And by the way, I don't disagree.
B
Yeah.
A
I can't say that I watched every single snap of Isaiah Rodgers the way that I'm sure pff did. But like, I mean, every time I looked up, that guy was doing something.
B
So here's the thing, I think with Browning. So in 2023, he struggled when he played really good defenses from memory. There were games against the Steelers. Defense was really good where he struggled. I think just with the infrastructure there, with how shaky the offensive line is, I think that he's going to struggle when he plays really good defenses and then when he has more time against the weaker defenses, it's going to look a lot better. And that's the same for a lot of quarterbacks. But you know, the great quarterbacks, they're able to overcome that. Jake Browning, probably not. Here's the problem at Denver, home, Detroit, at Green Bay over the next three weeks. So like he's starting T. Higgins against those.
A
And then by the way, home to Pittsburgh, whose defense isn't what it is before, but still you've got an off a sieve of an offensive line trying to, you know, block T.J. watt and company.
C
Right. You're hoping for a layup right now and it's just hard to find one. And it's never like you, the jets.
B
Jets and Bears, jets and Bears.
C
Jets and Bears. Secondaries are absolutely the fix. But I mean, you can't be waiting for that if you're starting the Brownler for the next couple weeks, right. And all these guys.
A
Brownie was pressured on 58% of those dropbacks. By the way. Viking vikings had a 40% blitz rate. I don't know that. If you're, if you're the Broncos and watching that, you're like, let's. We'll also send the house. Now I have to believe Zach Taylor is going to sit here and watch this tape and be like. And he's just going to be like, all right, we got to do mass protect. We're going to have to do some two tight end sets. We're going to have to chip a lot more. We're going to have to try to do short stuff to get the ball out quickly, try to figure out ways to like just dump offs to chase Brown as well. They will adjust. Right, but still, I think you're lowering expectations across the board for the entire Bengals offense. I still, I still maintain what I. Bad day at the office. Bad day at the office. I get it. But I still think Jamar Chase is a low end wide receiver. 1. I still think T. Higgins is a low end wide receiver. 2. I still think Chase Brown is kind of a borderline right running back. One, two, I get it. I mean like look, I got nothing.
B
To Higgins might have to be lower than that. If we're saying like coming to this week that DeVontae Smith is like a wide receiver. 3. I don't really see much of a difference between those guys.
A
That's fair. I mean in six career games with Browning as a starter, he's averaging 11.4 fantasy points per game. He's had only two games with double digit fantasy points. So probably more of a mid tier wide receiver. 3. Devontae Smith is probably a good. Yeah, it's probably a good comp. The only argument I would say is that I just, I feel better about the offense. I know that sounds insane given that Hertz versus Browning, but just I know the Bengals are always going to pass.
B
Yes.
A
Like. Like they're going to have to. And it is literally just those two guys. Like all due respect to Drew Sample, who had himself a nice game, Noah Fant had five targets in this one as well. But I just have to believe that, that you know it's ultimately going to be Higgins and Chase and that they're. That their talent and the offense. This is, this is one of the higher teams in terms of pass rate over expectations that'll throw just there's games where devonte Smith gets taken out of the game just by game plan has nothing to do with defense or a bad offensive line anyway. So I think slightly higher than devonte Smith. But I understand the concern either way. Last question here is if you have these guys, are you trading them or. Because right now it would be rock bottom like you are selling low.
C
I wouldn't trade Chase. Yeah, number one, this is as bad as it's going to look. As much as it's Browning, it's like Flores, right? Flores is great. There's no denying it. And credit to Minnesota for taking advantage of everything they could in this one. I just don't think you're going to get the value back on ja' Mar Chase, who we've seen him before be fine in these instances. So no. But T. Higgins, I just, I don't know what you're going to get like it's looking grim for T. Higgins right now.
B
Who'd rather have rest of the season Jamar Chase or jsn? I'd rather have jsn.
C
I'd still, I'd still rather Have Chase because I'm holding on hope if. If Browning has another week like this. I think Cincinnati makes a move.
B
Yeah, that's.
C
That's like, can you go get Jameis, do the Giants bench Russ? And then you get Russ.
A
I know this is.
C
This seems a little crazy, but I give you half. Cincinnati has too much invested into this year. This is what it is.
B
Cincinnati's 2 and 1 as well.
C
That further answers the point.
A
Yeah, exactly. They. They've got a.
B
You know, I would be tried. I would personally trade Chase for, like, J A Monroe, St. Brown. I like the floor, but I think they're in the same.
A
It's a. It's a real conversation for sure. But those are all wide receiver ones. Yeah, I mean, you know, that's the. That's the thing. And so it's just whether you. What you say, like, how you. How. How you sort of feel. I mean, I will say, by the way, if you're out there, you're thinking of trading for Jamar Chase. If you're like, I want to kind of vulture somebody that's struggling right now. Next week they play Denver, and you have to assume Pat Surtan is going to be on ja' Marr Chase. So it might be another bad week. Like, you know, like after week four, if you. If you're trying to acquire ja' Mar.
C
Chase at the lowest point.
A
At the lowest point. Feels like after next week would be the time to do it.
C
The Vikings side of this offensively, I mean, once again, the Bengals defense has really struggled. Wentz didn't have to do a lot, but Jordan Mason here. Jay. Jordan Mason, just the fact that he's getting the work. Aaron Jones is out looks effective. Credit to Minnesota's blocking in all of this. Jordan Mason looks good.
B
Yeah.
C
The reason they went out and traded for him.
B
Jordan Mason is going to be an RB1 until Aaron Jones comes back. And the only question is, is what does his role look like when Jones comes back in three, three or so weeks, four games. We'll see. I know they think they've got a buy coming up and Jones is on ir, so he's going to miss minimum three more games. But, I mean, Jordan Mason, we saw this last year when he's filling for Christian McCaffrey like he can handle a massive workload. He's going to score touchdowns and he'll get a little bit of work in the passing game. Not a ton, though. But yeah, I think Jordan Mason, you just ride it out while you can.
A
Yeah, I completely agree. By the way, one of the stats I gave in the preseason was last year, Jordan Mason, I believe, was like top five among running backs in terms of percentage of runs that go at least 10 yards. 25% of his runs in this game went 10 or more yards. So there's a big playability to Jordan Mason that I don't think people appreciate. And given the struggles of McCarthy or the. The Carson Wentz Ness of Carson Wentz, I think Kevin o' Connell is going to want to lean on the run game even more moving forward. Vikings play at Pittsburgh, at Cleveland, then have a buy before they're home to Philadelphia. So a bunch of. I mean, again, Pittsburgh is. But that's a. That's going to be a tough road game, right. Playing on the road at Pittsburgh and then Cleveland by Philadelphia. So it does not get easier for the Vikings, especially in the run game.
B
Moving forward just quickly before we move off the Vikings. So J.J. mcCarthy is supposedly going to come back week seven after that bye against Philadelphia. You think it's 100% chance he's the starter when he gets back?
C
I think they'll go back to him. I think that they're just hoping that this time and, you know, not only getting healthy, but getting mentally right and watching and I mean, Wentz isn't going to have, you know, cakewalks like this every week, too. But McCarthy, there's no doubt has to be better.
A
But I could see a scenario where it's not the Philadelphia game where they just like, he needs another week. Like, again, like your first game back.
C
That's a tough spot.
A
That's a tough spot.
B
My prediction would be that two weeks from now, Cleveland is going to destroy Carlson Wentz and then they go into the bay and then everyone's okay with Jake.
C
Yes. Like this will ride the wave. And right now we're at the easy point. I think McCarthy will be back.
A
Hey, Cleveland, what do you want for Joe Flacco?
C
There we go. The hot commodity that is always Joe Flacco.
A
Let's go, Flacco. Yeah.
C
Our next game, guys. Ugly game between Jacksonville and Houston. A 1710 yesterday was gross.
A
The whole day was gross. There were a couple of crazy finishes.
C
Pretty ugly, but the whole day was gross. The Texans just. Fans have to feel like every game they watch of their team. It's just ugly at this point. Good news on Nico Collins.
A
About time.
C
What you're hoping for. Finally. Yes. C.J. stroud. Still, things aren't going great there, but I think we have to start here, guys. And before we do, I want to Hear from Liam Cohen and Travis Hunter. But just on what's going on with this Jags passing game that can't get Brian Thomas Jr. Consistently going. Can't get Travis Hunter going. And a lot of guys from this team, notably the head coach, spoke on exactly that.
A
Early on.
C
He goes up on the fade and.
A
Makes a great effort and you're like, dang, okay.
B
He didn't come down with it, but man, like it looks like it's obviously trending.
A
It was like every time you had an opportunity to almost get things rolling, something negative occurred.
C
So, you know, just talk to him.
B
In the locker room and just, you know, really proud of the way that he finished.
C
You know, that was a huge play and a big time moment.
A
No, we see him as a leader. You know, he had a thousand yard receiver. We expected him to be on top of his game every game. And just to see him bounce back and block out all the noise and just go do his job and do what he's supposed to do, it means a lot to the younger guys in the room.
C
Well, you didn't really get that that.
A
Was Liam Cohen and then Travis Hunter.
C
Yeah, but Travis Hunter was kind of. I felt like he was speaking glowingly of btj. Wasn't a great game.
A
Travis Hunter seems like a nice kid.
C
Very nice. Yes. Yes.
A
That's what I'm just going to say. He just seems like a very nice kid.
C
Yeah, he's, you know, and they won the game. So you're not going to get on the podium.
A
That's what crazy. They're 2 and 1 and they should have beaten Cincinnati. This team should be three and as much of a disaster as the Jacksonville Jaguars are. Producer Steven.
C
They actually offensively. Yes.
B
So technically, literally they won the game. No one won this game. I watched this game. No one won this game. There was two losers and just The Texans lost more than the Jags. Yeah. At what point do we just. Do we sound the alarm on Trevor Lawrence, Connor?
C
Because I mean right now, because this isn't. You're not looking at it like JJ McCarthy I admittedly really rough on. I think over his career he should be fine. But right now he can sink in. Offense, Trevor Lawrence, this is years different coaches, different environments. Superstar wide receiver Travis Hunter. I. This is not me. Just like going back to draft evaluation. He's better than everything we're seeing right now. Brian Thomas Jr. We have all last year, especially when he played with Mac Jones is really good. Trevor Lawrence, he's not there right now.
B
What's the issue? Because I watched the Bucs offense last year and it was one of the most creative offenses in the NFL. They generated touches for their guy. They had the best screen, most creative screen game in the NFL. And Liam Cohen, who's now the coach of the Jags, think none of this. Like, it just seems broken.
A
Although. Although, in fairness though, Liam Cohen took over for Dave Canalis. That was Dave Canales offense in Tampa Bay that I'm sure Liam Cohen tweaked and everything like that, but Baker's the first Baker Sance was of many multiple iterations. You know, the renaissance of Baker Mayfield started with Dave Canales in that first year in Tampa Bay. And so. And then Canales goes to Carolina, Liam Cohen is elevated from that staff to the offense coordinator. And so, you know, Baker has an even better year, but partially you can say like, well, that was just, you know, second year in the system and everything like. And second leg like that. Whereas prior to that, Baker came from like bounce around Carolina. He's in. He's in. He's with the Rams for a cup of coffee. He's, you know.
C
Sean McVeigh internship.
A
Yeah, I mean, exactly. Like so. So again, I just, I don't know that it's a fair question to be like, why wait? Why isn't Jacksonville as good as. You know, it's more just a reflection.
B
On Trevor Lawrence is the thing is everything signals that because I mean, it's not just like the scheme. Things like he just doesn't look right. He's just.
C
I think he plays. I think he just plays slow. Yeah, I think there is. You know, you watch some of the top end quarterbacks of the league when everything's humming, there's so much rhythm.
A
Yeah.
C
I never watched Jacksonville's offense for all the talent they have, and I picked this team to win the division. Full, full transparency here. I never see the rhythm of the offense in him playing fast.
A
He's his only. Cam Ward has a lower completion rate this season than Trevor Lawrence. Through three weeks, he's cured back 27 on a points per game basis. He's not running. You know, that was one of the other things that we sort of. That was one of the pro. And I was pro. Trevor Lawrence as a sleeper this year. So not looking good so far for me on that. But one of the arguments I made was like, you know, Liam Cohen got Baker Mayfield on the move. Baker Mayfield had like a career high in rushing yards last year. And so Trevor Lawrence, who does have Justin Herbert esque mobility, like, he's not Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen. Good athlete though, but he's, he is somebody that similar to Herbert or Mahomes can get you 20, 30 yards a game. That is somewhat mobile and we're just not seeing it at all with Trevor Lawrence. He's averaging 5.9 yards per pass attempt. Like he's dinking and dunking. You've got Brian Thomas Jr. Yeah, you've got Brian Thomas Jr. And then you sit here and you look at it like, oh, Brenton Strange got seven targets. Now everyone knows I love me some Strange. But just at the end of the day when you've got Brian Thomas Jr. And Travis Hunter. So what are we doing?
B
So here's what I think we're doing. So the next four games, there's a reckoning coming at San Francisco. Purdy's probably back for that one. Kansas City, Seattle and the Rams are the next four. So that's a very tough schedule. I think what you're doing is, I think you're still starting Brian Thomas Jr. But he's like a low end wide receiver. Two flex guy. I think you're benching Travis Hunter and in two in super flex leagues, if you can afford to bench Trevor Lawrence, which you probably can't, but if you can, then you're probably benching him until you see something.
C
I would agree.
A
Yep.
C
There's. I mean think of all of the waiver wire quarterbacks this week that were better than him. Tyrod Taylor, Marcus, Mariota Carson Wentz. That's scary. Like the fact that I'm listing those three. That is very scary.
A
It is.
C
And eventually you'll be Jackson dart.
A
Yeah, you still gotta, you gotta still throw out Brian Thomas Jr. But I agree with you. I'm not, you know, and I do think actually Brenton Strange has some. All jokes aside, ETN.
C
He's thought ETN.
A
ETN. Bashal Tutin. Bashal Tutin, you know, 6 for 21. He scores. He. He scores the touchdown. He. Given how much this offense is struggling, I have to believe they find more ways to get Tutin the ball just because they need some offense. They need some offense.
C
The chat is just having a lot of fun right now. I'm not going to derail this segment. Our next, our, our next game here, Dallas against Chicago lived up to the. Almost lived up to the scoring hype. It did go slightly below the ridiculous 50 and a half total. But the Bears offense was absolutely humming in this one. Matthew Caleb Williams. I know Dallas defense cannot look worse at this point, but are you buying into this for the Bears offense because the Caleb Williams Roma Dunes connection is very, very real.
A
That's the thing that I'm buying into. Look, one of my shot for shots on fantasy pregame yesterday was that Caleb Williams would have over 20 fantasy points. As we head into Monday Night Football. He's the number one quarterback in fantasy for this week. Career high in fantasy points yards for passing passer rating against Dallas. He's currently QB4 on the season Again, it's still not a good defense with Chicago. So he's always going to be in positive game script for fantasy. He does get you points with his legs. Only 12 rushing yards in this one because he didn't need it. But the flea flicker to Luther Burton was a thing of beauty.
C
Funny flea flicker.
A
It was like what I would have done if I was in. You know, like. And he's sitting there, he's waiting, he's waiting. Okay. Finally comes down. But ultimately like that connected Adunze through three weeks. He's the fourth best wide receiver in fantasy football. He's averaging over 20 fantasy points per game. He scored in all three games. He's got four total touchdowns. It is, you know, it is Rome's world and we just live in it.
B
Yep. Dallas side of the ball. I'm not sure there are too many takeaways because CD Lamb came out of the game early. He says that he's going to play next week. We'll see.
C
I think it's a high ankle sprain.
B
Yeah, so we'll see. Players often say that they're going to play and then, you know, it swells.
C
And doctors weigh in.
B
Yeah, yeah, exactly. So we'll see. I mean it's a big game against the Packers Sunday football where we will be in Dallas.
A
We will be there live in Dallas. Fantasy pregame and football night in America from. From the stadium there, I guess, you know, as we know how, how, how much time, if any time Lamb misses, we do expect him to miss some time. We can talk more about that as going week. But it was nice to see Pickens and Ferguson. Those will be to the guys. Maybe some. We'll talk about Kevonte Turpin tomorrow or Jalen Tolbert, but Dunes is the number one guy. The only other thing I want to say about this game very quickly is, is that DJ Moore finally kind of gets off to Schneide, but similar to Smith and Brown. I kind of want out of the DJ Moore business. Like if you can take this game and sort of package it and try to get something for him.
C
Because Luther burton takes more 1,000%.
A
Luther burden is coming and it is clearly this is Roma Dunes is one and probably the second passing option for Caleb Williams.
C
All right, guys, some injuries we're tracking before we take a break here. The notable week three injuries. Unfortunately, we have to start with James Conner. James Conner drinks for free on the show today. We're a real man. It didn't look good. James Conner has been through a lot throughout his football life, through his actual life.
A
I mean his story is unbelievable. We've had him on this show before. He's an easy guy to root for. So friend of the podcast. He's a, he's a, he's been a stalwart in the world of fantasy football. It did not look good yesterday. We wish you a fast and speedy recovery. James, much love to you and everyone with the Cardinals family.
C
A lot of key injuries to keep an eye on throughout the week. Jay mentioned CD Lamb. We'll see how significant that is, how severe it is. Mike Evans, it was a hammy. He's had this in the past.
A
Getting an MRI tomorrow.
C
Severe, that is. It did not look good as well. Terry McLaurin with the quad. Diamond Brown with the shoulder. Alec Pierce with a concussion. We brought up James Conner. Tyrone Tracy was in a lot of pain with a shoulder injury. Najee Harrison, so unfortunate with that. Achilles injury, the non contact. Colson Loveland with the hip. Michael Meyer with a concert concussion as well. So a lot of key fantasy injuries. We'll have updates all throughout the week. Stick with us. We are going to take one more break here before we get to weekend warriors and Sunday scaries.
A
Yes, real quickly, Brianna Dix reporting that Todd Bowles confirms Mike Evans will have an MRI on his hamstring tomorrow. But as of now, Bowles says it seems low grade. Staff will know severity tomorrow if Evans will have to miss time. By the way, Tyrone Tracy dislocated his shoulder in the first half of Sunday's night game. He's expected to miss some time per sources. So Cam Scatterboo time in the Big Apple. You know, the best B2B marketing often gets wasted on the wrong people. I love the system and I really feel like I have a great connection with Cliff and Tabita and the rest of the offensive staff.

C
The most of it. Warriors headline by Marcus Mariota Can I give a clap? Nice start.
A
Let me tell you something, Connor. You know what happened yesterday on Fansville pregame? You were.
C
I've heard rumors.
A
Yeah, yeah. Sick Jalen is. Why are we talking about Marcus Mariota so much like he version Seven times he chastised me and I said, you know why? Because he's available in a ton of leagues and he's actually the best of the backup quarterbacks he's going to crush. And you actually said. He said to me, not only did he poo poo Marcus Mariota, but he also. And people, the regulars know this. He also said, I can't believe the I'm like raiders shouldn't even be two and a half pound underdogs. He's like, that's a perfect line. How much do you think it should be? I'm like five or six. He's like, what? That's crazy. He now owes me and George Savarikis dinner.
C
Ooh, what level of dinner are we talking?
A
Steak and lobster. Steak and lobster.
B
I was thinking Shake Shack. Yeah, no, I was fine with the Marcus Mariota point the first six times you raised this. The seventh time just got me thought it was overkill. But now, well done to you, Marcus Mariota. Good game.
A
Well, he's the fifth best quarterback in fantasy as we head into Monday football. Thank you, Marcus Mariota. Harold Commander's hail victory. It is a victory Monday and yes, hopefully Jayden Daniels doesn't miss any time, doesn't miss the game next week against the Falcons. But if he does, obviously Mariota once again proves that he can perform admirably. I will say one of the arguments that you made about why you thought the Raiders should should only be a two and a half point dog is because Geno Smith is playing well. I made the point well. He played well in week one but he looked terrible in week two. But in week three actually he was not the reason the Raiders lost.
B
No he wasn't. Some prevent defense and score got out of hand but still goes 19 for 29, 289, three TDs and the guy the real weekend Wario out of this game for me Trey Tucker goes 9 for 145 and three touchdowns outscores the entire Cincinnati Bengals team by himself basically. I don't think it's going to be repeated but quite a day for Mr. Tucker.
A
93% route participation end zone target every single game. He's obviously opposite Jacoby Myers. You've got Brock Bowers who still may not be 100% Connor but for people that may not be familiar with Trey Tucker's game this is somebody who had a nice camp like again we're not expecting 40 points every week but but is this legitimate at all?
C
He's got speed and we've seen that already in this offense and they have a lot of young receivers. They're trying to get involved between Thornton and ultimately down the road Besh but Tucker's already been there and Geno likes to throw the ball down the field especially if their secondary is as bad as this they will have to throw down the field a lot. By the way, splik McGriff in the comments said Jay's going to take them out for Vegemite.
B
Yeah, that's right. Vegemite at Shake Shack.
C
Yes, very nice. How about cam scataboo here Matthew 10 carries, 60 yards and a touchdown, six receptions in 61 yards through the air especially after Tyrone Tracy's injury.
A
Yeah played 70% of the snaps after Tyrone Tracy unfortunately left 75% of the running back touches. Jordan Renan who covers the Giants for the for ESPN reporting that it is. It is. It's a sprain that's going to. He's going to miss some time. So Cam Scatterboo will be the starter for the New York Giants moving forward. They play the Chargers next week. But the, the nice thing about Scatterboo is is that he actually I mean 50% avoided tackle rake like you know he looked like the guy we saw in college and they're also especially as long as they're with check down Charlie. Russell Wilson who did not get into the moon balls yesterday he actually led the moon punts. Yeah yeah, yeah, exactly. Moon punts. Yeah. But anyway, at the end of the day, Scatterboo actually led the team in receptions and receiving yards, which is sort of crazy to think about, but just.
C
The Wandell Robinson week was fun, believe me.
A
I did a parlay last night and one of my legs was Malik Neighbors because I always have to take a touchdown and the parlay is part of it. And so I'm like, okay, neighbors touchdown. Couldn't get him the ball. Chiefs to win Moneyline. But like my quote easy leg was Wandell Robinson. Three receptions. I was just like, you know, like alt lighting the crap out of that one.
C
Yep.
B
Wanda, I'll give us. Give us some tickets away.
A
Two.
B
Two wide receivers. So you can't.
A
Jackson Dart can't get here soon enough.
B
No, indeed. Ricky Pearsall is an absolute monster. He's a locked in wide receiver. Two, I think at worst until the Niners get some of their reinforcements back. He goes 8 receptions on 11 targets and 117 yards. EPIC 4th down reception as well to win the game. And then Michael, a bit of a.
A
Slow start, but by the way, I mean, Mac Jones did not look good, but he gutted it out, right? And they play Jacksonville at home next week. So Ricky Piersol, not a flute.
B
Daniel Jones also seems to have a rapport with Michael Pittman, who goes 6 for 73 and a touchdown. Looks like Michael Pittman of a couple years ago. Also quite sneaky. Alec Pierce got hurt in this game. I think he'll be okay. But Alec Pierce looks like a new player. By the way, Alec Pierce looks really, really good.
A
The Colts are one of the surprises of the season. They've been absolutely great. But Pittman with at least a 24% target share in two or three games, at least 19 fantasy points in both of those games. It is, I think this, we think this passing attack is pretty good under Daniel Jones and Shane Steichen. And it's going to be Michael Pittman and Tyler Warren. Tyler Warren and Michael Pittman, obviously with a great run game from Jonathan Taylor, who also had another massive game. Just, you know, friend of the podcast superstar.
C
Shout out to Hunter Henry, you have graduated from waiver wires. You're not eligible anymore because everybody has you after a monster 90 yard, two touchdown game Sunday. Scaries, on the other hand, not good in Raiderland right now for Ash and Genty. A lot of work, not a lot of production. Matthew, you.
A
It's been bad and I have to wonder if there's some pass protection issues here. We saw way too much Zemir White as well, but he's running back 34 on the season. He's got only three total receptions they're not using in the passing game, which is something we thought would happen coming out of Boise State home to Chicago. I think you have to keep starting him but he is not the RB one. You drafted it. He is now a shaky RB two until further notice. Alvin Camara has a tough game Outside the top 35 at running back, just not getting a lot of the dump offs that we expected a career low 8.6 target share so far this season. Marvin Harrison Jr. Who you talked about a lot on fantasy football game and you're like, why are you out on Marvin Harrison Jr. I'm like I'm out on Kyler a little bit.
B
And to be fair, if Marvin Harris Harrison Jr. Caught two passes that I generally had a pretty good chance to catch, he would have had 120 yards and multiple touchdowns. So it's tough. He seems to have the yips at the moment.
A
Something he's a shaky wide receiver 34 balance. Same with Calvin Ridley. Your guy Alec Ayemoner. We thought he'd take over at some point. Feels like it's happening.
C
It's epic. IO Manor time.
A
Yeah and Malik neighbors. Whatever. Just a bad day at the office for Russ. Get here. Jackson Dart. We need you.

Should be a pretty electric game between the Lions and the Ravens.
B
Zay Flower's longest reception over 26 and a half yards. He had 20 targets from Lamar Jackson. Now his first two weeks he's taken a big step up Detroit, new defensive coordinator, some breakdowns in the secondary thing. Zay takes advantage for a big one.
C
I'm looking at a Ravens wide receiver as well. DeAndre Hopkins, over 18 and a half receiving yards. He's done this in both games. He's going to play more. And the Lions run man coverage at one of the highest rates in the league. DeAndre Hopkins still incredibly effective against man coverage.
A
Like both those calls as well. I'm going to the other side of the ball in Detroit. Give me Jameer Gibbs over 27 and a half receiving yards. Look, he's got a 20% target share on the season. And the Ravens give the fifth most receiving yards to opposing running backs. He beat this number in week number one. We expect to track meet tonight. It's the highest over under the slate. So yes, we like overs tonight on Monday Night Football. Listen, it's closing time. You do not have to go home, but unfortunately you cannot stay here. This episode dives into pivotal Week 3 fantasy football developments, including the breakout of Omarion Hampton, a deep look at the Chargers offense, major injuries (James Conner, CeeDee Lamb, Najee Harris), and evolving roles for key fantasy players. Matthew Berry, joined by Connor Rodgers and Jay Croucher, unpacks performances, shifting workloads, and gives actionable trade and waiver advice with classic humor and candor.
Berry and crew’s analysis hits hard on the actionable: be aggressive piping hot on waivers (Scataboo, Corum, Tucker), consider selling high on Philadelphia pass-catchers, and don’t bail too soon on players like Jamar Chase. Injuries will shape the next waiver wave, so stay alert—especially at running back. The panel’s humor and conviction make the hour both informative and entertaining—a must-listen for any engaged fantasy manager.
