Wife and I went out to dinner. We went out to dinner. We went at one of our favorite restaurants in Connecticut, Cafe Routier. Shout out to my friends over at Cafe Routier. And the manager, Randy, comes over to me and he goes, oh, and three. Huh? I swear to God. I swear to God. You know, listen, Randy, you drink for eight. Oh my God.
Jay Croucher
Regular Rudy in the chat says, call me champ. He screams as the boat sinks further. That's very good.
Matthew Berry
That's very good. Eventually it'll be all the way underwater. Yeah. Longest losing streak. That's pretty much what Le is that what Leo DiCaprio said on the Titanic? Winslet? Probably champ.

Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry.
Jay Croucher
Welcome to the Fantasy Football Happy Hour. I'm Jay Crouch of Matthew Barry Lawrence Jackson. Randy.
Matthew Berry
Randy Hodge over there at Cafe Routier in Westbrook, Connecticut. It's near the shoreline. It is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. He texted me last night. He watches the show every single day. He's a hardcore fan. He's a big fan of you, Jay.
Jay Croucher
Oh, thank you.
Matthew Berry
Never mentions his Lawrence. That is something. Randy never mentioned Lawrence or Connor.
Lawrence Jackson
I don't know if he should be drinking free D Randy. I don't know. You got to go 4 for 4.
Matthew Berry
He's a. But he's a die hard Falcons fan. I think you guys would get along.
Lawrence Jackson
That's even worse.
Matthew Berry
I know. It's all right. But at any Rate. Yeah, he texted me last night and he said thank you. He said thank you for the. Thank you for the shout out. Yeah, this is me, by the way. Yeah, call me champ as I'm riding.
Jay Croucher
The box from Jesus Mendoza.
Matthew Berry
So for those just listening, yeah, we got a tweet from Jesus Mendoza. It's just, it's. I think it's from how I stopped worrying to love the atomic. I think it's a screenshot. But anyway, it's. It's a cowboy riding up a bomb about ready to blow up. But call me champ, I'm right. I'm owing three. I faced George Savarikus this week. I just lost Mike Evans. I don't know if I get Xavier Worthy back. I don't know if I get Jayden Daniels back. We're taking on water, but, you know, and I play. I pay the Greek. I play George Savarikis to save off to save my season. No big deal. But try. Yeah, we're going to. We're going to try.
Jay Croucher
Look, it's been a real shocking start for the season for you. We got a few. One, you're owing three, which is bad. Two, when you were 02, you came on this show and you're like, well, we won the last two titles.
Matthew Berry
Yes.
Jay Croucher
A great championship mentality to have. We won two titles.
Matthew Berry
I'm just saying, some years, you know, it's like it ain't your year. Derrick Henry looks human. He's been bad. Like, again, like, I've had a lot of injuries and the players I have that are healthy have sucked. Chase Brown has been bad for two weeks. Derrick Henry's been bad for two weeks. Cortland Sutton's been good, but he wasn't. He was bad two weeks ago. Like, I mean, it's just. It's just sort of. Laporta has been very average. Kenny, our stage manager today, Kenny, Detroit Lions fan. What's going with La Porta? Kenny, I blame you.
Lawrence Jackson
He don't care about that. He's just happy they put a beat down on the Ravens.
Matthew Berry
This is true. Kenny does not care. No one cares.
Lawrence Jackson
I. I tell you what.
Matthew Berry
Care.
Lawrence Jackson
I tell you what, Matthew, this house.
Matthew Berry
This is how sad it was at Cafe Rudier Ran. Randy bought me and my wife round of drinks. So sad. He was for our own three start. Anyway, I'm sad for highly recommended Cafe Rudy.
Lawrence Jackson
Sound like a man who's in the trade market.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. What do you got?
Lawrence Jackson
I got it. I got pinnocks.
Matthew Berry
Oh, I got you, Bryce Young. Yeah.
Lawrence Jackson
Hey, I'm sitting at 2 in 1.
Jay Croucher
But also, don't you have Jonathan Taylor though?
Lawrence Jackson
Jimmy or Gibbs too?
Jay Croucher
Oh, wow. Okay.
Lawrence Jackson
James Cook.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, that'll do it. You know, that's helpful.
Lawrence Jackson
Rest don't matter.
Jay Croucher
Mentioned before, but my favorite part of Matthew's season so far is when he blamed his Week 1 loss on George Kittle getting hurt. Despite George Kittle not actually being on his team.
Matthew Berry
It threw off the equilibria. It threw off the equilibrium of my team. The truth is, is that I have no.
Jay Croucher
As someone else.
Matthew Berry
Let's stop it. It's Love Hate day. We're going to get to it in one second. Just to wrap. To put a wrap on this one. Just so people don't think I'm crazy. As anyone that listened to yesterday's show knows, I'm in. I started the season in 32 leagues. I have a significant amount of George Kittle, an amount similar to the amount of money that Jay put on the New Orleans Saints. Just to give you an idea of how big a stake I have in George Kittle. So George Kittle going down in week one was significantly bad for a lot of my teams. Not this particular team. This team I lost Xavier Worthy and, you know, and some of the other guys. Right. But. But yeah, whatever. I gotta say, it's a bad scene. I'm down. Bad.
Jay Croucher
I'm a little worried about the Saints making the playoffs, Murray. They might not do it, but someone I'm not worried about.
Matthew Berry
Yes, sir.
Jay Croucher
Marion Hampton. And he kicks off running back Love Hate. And we heard from Justin Herbert talking about Maureen Hampton's big Week three. Yeah, I'm not surprised. We knew how special he was as soon as he got here. And you know, running back is an incredibly tough position and the way he's fought and picked up the offense and we're asking a lot of them, you know, especially as a rookie, you know, he's handled it all. He's. He's picked it up and you know, he's taken it on his shoulders and we're really lucky to have him as well. Yeah, yeah. Superstar quarterback Justin Herbert on perhaps his emerging superstar running back Marion Hampton, who gets now a fairly favorable matchup as six, six and a half point favorites against the New York Giants. You want to continue the Ride or die victory lap?
Matthew Berry
I do because I don't have. I don't have. Apparently I don't have a lot of victory laps to take on this show, so I need to take that one when I can as well. Justin Herbert says we're lucky to have him. As our fantasy managers that managed to grab my ride or die this year. I do not have my ride or die in our league of assholes because you guys are in fact assholes, hence the name of the league. And you guys drafted them way ahead of ADP just to screw me out of them. All that said, whoever in our league does have them should enjoy a great matchup. You see it right there. I'm as a top 10 play this week he's going against the Giants who allowed the fourth most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. They've given up a running back rushing touchdown in every game this year averaging over five yards per carry. If you're telling me there's a that the Giants give up a rushing touchdown in every game this year and so somebody on the Chargers is going to get a running back rushing touchdown, I'm saying it's going to be Amarian Hampton and not Hassan Haskins or Kamani Vidal. So and I'll just say this, I think this is interesting. Amarion Hampton in week three had a 96 utilization score that was the third highest of any running back in the NFL. The utilization score is a proprietary metric that Duane McFarlane came up with on fantasy life.com that that takes in account to all underlying metrics that have that have produced future Fantasy Points since 2020. Like he did this insane amount of research and it's it is proven over multiple years to be more predictive than than air yards then targets than snapshare than any of the other using metrics that a lot of fantasy analysts use. And so typically players that have a utilization score from the 90 to 1000 to 100, 100 being the best and Hampton had a 96 last week. Players that have a utilization score of 90 or better average over 22 fantasy points per game are top five fantasy running backs. Give me all the Omari and Hampton. I understand that there are some scenarios because of the injury Najee Harris that we're not celebrating that that have opened up more of an opportunity. But the fact is the opportunity and talent are there Lawrence 100%.
Lawrence Jackson
The metrics I use Matthew is these right here, these glass and these eyes right here Lawrence's eyes and they telling me the same thing that what you telling these people and what's important about Amarian Hampton last week too right. We saw in week two they were trying to get him the goal line touchdown. They didn't. They didn't do it. But this game we saw those six receptions for 59 yards. That's what's big right here. And you know he's going to get that type of usage now because it's all on him now. Unfortunately, no more Najee Harris. You got Amari and Hampton. And if Najee Harris were to play the rest of the season, I think we still liked his prospects going forward.
Jay Croucher
Yeah. To give you context on that utilization score of 96 as well, Pukinakua is basically the highest usage wide receiver in the NFL. I believe his utilization score is 90 on the season. So Amirah Hampton off the charts there. Regular Joey. If Hampton finishes RB1, Matthews should get an ankle tat, I would say of Amarian Hampton's face.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. Skin number eight.
Lawrence Jackson
Just get like lightning bolt number eight.
Matthew Berry
Jersey in the back. Maybe I'll do that. Maybe I'll do that. But maybe I won't put it on my ankle. Maybe I'll put on my face right here. Mike Tyson like lightning bolt berry. Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Baby oil Barry. Lightning bolt berry.
Matthew Berry
Think about where I put the tattoo.
Jay Croucher
Big bolt Berry. What can't he do?
Matthew Berry
Yeah. All right.
Jay Croucher
Lawrence Briesel put on the back.
Matthew Berry
Maybe I'll get a back tattoo. I might get a little tramp stamp.
Jay Croucher
I don't think that'll be.
Lawrence Jackson
That's so 20 years ago, Matthew.
Jay Croucher
Tramp stamps are washed.
Matthew Berry
Any. Any idea how old I am? I mean, you know, just a 64 year old man.
Jay Croucher
All right, Breeze hall gets Miami.
Matthew Berry
I hate my life. All right, what are we doing?
Jay Croucher
What are we talking, Lawrence, about Bruce Hall. Oh, good bullish on this week.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Because it's a game the jets might actually have a positive game script in for once.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah. You saw him. The past two weeks has been tough for Breeze Hall. 19 carries, 50 yards in total in his last two games. We saw him and we won 19 carries, 107 yards. And we was like, oh, snap. Like Breece hall back. But not against Tampa Bay. Good team. Not against Buffalo. Great team. But now you're going up against these Dolphins who allow the fifth most fantasy points per game to running backs. You saw them in week three versus the Bills. James Cook went crazy. 19 carries, 108 yards and a touchdown versus them. You go back to week two. Ramondre Stevenson, 142 scrimmage yards versus these Miami Dolphins. And we saw what Ramondre Stevenson did in week three. So I like Breece hall to get back on track here against this Dolphins defense. Who is to say it in the nicest way is trying to figure it out for sure.
Matthew Berry
And whether it's Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields under Center the game. It's one of the Monday night doubleheaders this week. You know, you expect that running game there too. I am shocked by the way Dolphins are two and a half point favorites in this game. I do not get that at all. Dolphins have looked awful. I get it. They play, they. They showed up a little bit against Buffalo and they're off the mini buy. So they've had 10 days to prepare or even 11 because it's the Monday night game. But. But still, I mean, the jets were, you know, the jets almost took, almost beat Tampa Bay, which I think is one of the better teams in the NFL. The jets should have beaten Pittsburgh as well. I. Two and a half. I don't get that at all, Jay.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, I think it's just, it's. How much do you buy into Miami's offense looking better against Buffalo? Because they did play well offensively until that final pick at the end and Mike McDaniel was in his bag. The defense is not good though.
Lawrence Jackson
I think it's. If you take Miami versus Buffalo and versus New England, their offense in those two games have looked better than the jets offense this whole season is probably why it's like that.
Jay Croucher
But I'm with you. I think that that's implying that Miami's a better team than New York, New Trafford. I think they're the same level of team at worse. And, and the jets, if they can rediscover some of what they did in Week 1 against the Steelers, then. Then they might be the better team overall.
Matthew Berry
But. Right. This line should be one and a half or one. Pick them like it should. I don't know.
Jay Croucher
I'm with you.
Matthew Berry
Question from regular Rudy.
Jay Croucher
Are we higher on brace with Fields or Taylor at quarterback? Matthew?
Matthew Berry
I think we're higher with. I think we're higher with Fields. To be honest with you. I feel like Fields is more of a rushing threat and so I feel like you have to keep a spy on Fields in a way that you don't. Right, Exactly. If they execute the rpo, Taylor is more apt to throw. And you know, we talked with Connor about this last week when we knew Taylor was going to start. He's like, he thought the passing game and Garrett Wilson would get the bigger bump with Tyrod Taylor under center. I don't know that it totally matters and I don't think it matters at all for our purposes. If you have Breece hall, you're starting Breeze hall, whoever's playing quarterback. But just to answer regular Rudy's question, I feel like Fields is Slightly better for hall than Taylor.
Jay Croucher
Yep, I'm with you there. All right, let's jump to J.K. dobbins. Matthew gets a very favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals team that just got eviscerated by the Vikings. Thought this might be a timeshare with RJ Harvey coming into the season. Not so much, no.
Matthew Berry
I mean RJ Harvey has struggled using him a little bit in the passing game, but you know Dobbins has looked good. Obviously Dobbins is productive in pass production. And as Bo Nix has sort of struggled to get going, they've been leaning on J.K. dobbins. I thought Dobbins looked the best he has all season. Last week for the Broncos had the big run against the Chargers for a touchdown as well. Last week, 85% running back rush share. He had a 55% route participation, which I thought was also interesting to a team that has RJ Harvey and Jahliel McLaughlin. The fact that JK Dobbins had a 55% route participation in week three, super interesting. You mentioned the matchup with the Bengals. They've allowed 125 yards to opposing running backs in back to back weeks. Travis Etienne, Jordan Mason both had big games against the Bengals. So did Dylan Sampson in week one. You know what I mean? That was through the passing game, but still Dobbins, who's being used more in the passing game and we know he's going to be the running back when they get in close and they're in scoring position. I'm as a top 15 play this week.
Jay Croucher
Yep. Subjectively to the eye, Testament, he just looks a bit better and more explosive than last year. I'm saying he had a good year last year, but still like just another year removed off of all the injuries he's been dealing with. He does look a little bit better. I'll throw Josh Jacobs name out there. The packers are seven point favorites in Dallas and here's the thing is that if they don't, if they don't figure out their run game in this matchup, then when is it ever going to happen? Like they should have positive game script. It's a very weak Dallas defense. I know Zach Tom is missing with his oblique. I don't really care too much about that because of the other favorable aspects of the matchup. Josh Jacobs like this should be 100 yards in a touchdown.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah, I think this is one of those situations where we expect Green Bay's office no matter how they get down there. I think they could get down there inside the 10, inside the five. And that's Josh Jacobs season all right there. So just with Dallas's defense, overall, he'll get a number of opportunities, maybe for even some of them Green Bay receivers too.
Matthew Berry
It feels like Josh Jacobs scoring a touchdown just feels inevitable.
Lawrence Jackson
And then 100 battle though. Seven point favorites.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
Yeah. Few teams are going to have more to prove in a regular season game as well than the packers in this matchup between Parsons going back to Dallas, between. I don't think it was really focused on that much because so much of the wild stuff happened. The packers losing that game to Cleveland was like Baltimore blowing the game to Buffalo in week one. Completely insane that they lost that game from where they were up in the.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah, you know why it's worse? Because one is Buffalo and one is Cleveland.
Matthew Berry
Josh.
Jay Croucher
Josh Allen. One's Joe Flacco.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, yeah. And. But by the way, I feel like that given how much Dallas sort of got blown out by Chicago last week, that, that the packers might have. I don't want to say they would have taken it easy, you know what I mean? But they might have been like, ah, okay, we got this. But now I think that's a wake up call to lose to Cleveland. There's going to be a ton of emotions around this game, obviously with Micah Parsons returning to Dallas. And so I feel like the packers are going to be out for blood and it'll be, you know, Sunday Night Football, it's on NBC. And Peacock can be an amazing game, an amazing atmosphere, and I just do think that the packers are going to want to take the crowd out of it. The other weird part is, is that a lot of times when this happens, it's interesting and we'll talk about this, you know, as week goes on and we'll talk about the Sunday morning when we're there. There's going to be. The three of us will be in Dallas along with George Savarikis. Hopefully I can voodoo mind meld him into losing to me this week. But the four of us will be there live in Dallas because the entire Football Night America crew will be live in Dallas this week for the big game, packers at the Cowboys on NBC. And Peacock, I'm a company man. We hit the air at 11am Eastern on Peacock and of course YouTube. So check us out for fantasy football pregame live from Dallas on the field at Texas Stadium. But the one thing I want to say is I think a lot of times when a player returns, you know, when a big name player returns, and a lot of times it's usually like it's, you know, there's anger from the fans. Right? You know that, like that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. Usually it's like, ah, boo. You know this. I'm trying to think of a good example here. But like when a quarterback comes, you.
Jay Croucher
Know, Aaron Rodgers come back to New York.
Matthew Berry
Aaron Rodgers come back to New York. That's a great example. Exactly. Aaron Rodgers comes back to New York and Jets fans are like, boo, screw you dude. And everything like that. I think when Micah shows up, Cowboys friends are like, we miss you, we love you. We didn't want you to leave. No, they blame Jerry Jones. They don't blame Michael Parsons for how that went down.
Lawrence Jackson
And when you look at the Michael Parsons situation to Aaron Rodgers on the jets, like he was there for like a hop, skip and a jump. Like I can't remember what they did. I'm just saying in general when he went back, there was some booing.
Matthew Berry
There was some booing.
Lawrence Jackson
I just know he went off. So if Michael Parsons play anything like Barkley did when he went back to the New York.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, it's going to be crazy. If I was Brian Schottenheimer, I would call mass protect on every single play.
Jay Croucher
He burst through those triple teams these days. Micah. All right, let's get to all those receiving votes. A headline by Jordan Mason who all of a sudden with Aaron Jones on ir, Jordan Mason, his rushing prop is set around the same neighborhood as Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley which I get.
Matthew Berry
Look, Last week, first 3/4 of last week before it was just a complete blowout and they put in all the bench, the bench guys. Jordan Mason handled 76% of the running back rushes for the Vikings again in the first three quarters last week. Now this is the Dublin game. It's going to be 9:30 Sunday morning. Just so you know, Pittsburgh and the Vikings, but Steelers by the way are not the Steelers defensive old. They've allowed 100 running, 100 yards rushing to a running back in two or three games so far. This like you, you can run on the Pittsburgh Steelers and that's exactly what I think the Carson Wentz led Vikings will do. Jordan Mason Top 20 play for me this week. Real quickly, the other names you saw there, Cam Scatterboo. No Tyrone Tracy here. Devin Singletary will be the other running back. But scatterboo who played 70% of the snaps once Tracy went down last week. I expect the entire offense to get a boost from Jackson start being under center. They Play the Chargers. I think you can run on L. A. And then finally like, look, I know a lot of people have said, hey, Travion Henderson, man, those holding penalties are brutal. But you know what he didn't do with those holding penalties? Fumble the ball. He didn't fumble the ball. You know, so like if you're Mike V. You're like Ramandre. Oh, you fumble the ball. Oh, Antonio Gibson, you fumbled the ball. All right, Trayvon, I like, I can live with the holding penalties because at least you hang on to it.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
This is a confusing question for Baser Journey. I'm in a 35 year old TD only league. I thought it was only for 35 year olds going touchdowns, but it's been around for 35 years. Same rules we've had since 1991. Jordan Mason or Montgomery? The answer is Jordan Mason.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, it's the question what he's basically saying he's in on. He's a very old school league where they only do touchdowns, yards, receptions. None of that matters. It's just the only way you score points is through touchdowns. Who's got a better shot at a touchdown? It's Jordan Mason or David Montgomery. I like both these guys today. But the fact that Montgomery is going against the Cleveland Browns defense, which through three weeks is the number one rushing defense in the NFL. Give me Jordan Mason against an overrated Pittsburgh Steelers defense to score a score. A touchdown. By the way, Lawrence Ace degenerate. That's. If, if I didn't know better, I would say that is Jay Croucher's, you know, screen name. That's your Finster. That's your. That's your burner account.
Jay Croucher
Jay, what was the best movie of 1991? That's an easy one. Point Break. Point Break was the best movie of 1991. And everything else is playing for second.
Matthew Berry
And what?
Jay Croucher
Everything else is playing for second. Point breaks, a phenomenal place.
Lawrence Jackson
Honestly. Let me stop because I don't know.
Jay Croucher
Good fellas.
Lawrence Jackson
I was about to say good fellas. I don't know if New Jack City came out in 91. Somewhere around there, but Goodfellas, I thought.
Jay Croucher
About Silence of the Lambs.
Matthew Berry
Goodfellas is a great movie. Silence.
Jay Croucher
Point Break, I believe it was 91.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, probably is that. It has been a zillion years since I've seen Point Break. Was it set in Australia?
Jay Croucher
The final scene is in Bell's beach in Torquay, in Melbourne, which is about 90 minutes from where I grew up. But the problem is, is that the actor playing an allegedly Australian cop. Because Keanu Reeves. I'll spoil the end of Point Break. This is what I do. Keanu Reeves lets Patrick Swayze and go out into the ocean. He's like, what am I gonna do? Swim to New Zealand? And then Keanu Reeves comes back to the beach and the Australian cop. So I talk like an Australian. The cop in this film's like, why'd you let him go, mate?
Matthew Berry
It's not our Australian story.
Jay Croucher
Could you not have hired an Australian actor?
Lawrence Jackson
He just thought if he mate, he good. Let me talk like. Like I'm in London. Let me say mate.
Jay Croucher
Boys from Essex.
Matthew Berry
Unbelievable. All right, we missed him. Should we go get some shrimp on the Bobby? Right? It's just like that. It's atrocious.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Jay Croucher
I hated that part of Point Break. And we're gonna transition to the height list.
Matthew Berry
But still. But still the best movie of 1991, according to Jay Croucher. It's interesting Ace Degenerate that asked about Jordan Mason versus Dave Montgomery, because, honestly, Dave Montgomery leads the hate list here as well. I mentioned the matchup with the Browns just to go a little bit further. Week one, they face Chase Brown, 21 rushes for 43 yards. Week two, face Derrick Henry, 11 rushes for 23 yards. And week three, Josh Jacobs, 16 rushes for 30 yards. Dave Montgomery, I get it. He had the big run against the Ravens for a touchdown. Scored twice as well. But he's playing 36% of the snaps. This is Jameer Gibbs backfield. It is clearly Gibbs. And then Montgomery, He's. He's averaging 13 touches a game, which is a career low. So you're telling me that Dave Montgomery is getting probably 13 touches against the number one run defense in the NFL? I have him just barely inside my top 30. Dave Montgomery on the hate list.
Jay Croucher
Yep. Cleveland Browns may well have the best defense in football. Lawrence from Andre Stevenson, hate list against Carolina, favorable matchup. But his matchup right now is holding on to the football.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah, the matchup is good. And if not for him, you know, losing to see us. It's different when you fumble twice, when you lose it twice, that's like, coaches don't know about that. So that. I think that's a big reason why he was third on this team in carries last week, even behind Antonio Gibson when he started out as the starter in the regular season. Also, four carries for 18 yards last week, a big dip from what he had in week two. And I think it's over. Under for total yards from scrimmage was something like 59 last week on pregame and I was like no, no sir, that's going under because he's not going to catch another 55 yard pass. We like and for for what it's worth like Carolina just laid the smackdown on the on the Falcons, Dijon Robinson and them. So I don't think Ramon Dre Stevenson is any better than that. And so I like Trayvon Henderson like Matthew said earlier but I'm off Stephenson for this week.
Jay Croucher
Yep, I think that makes sense. I think more scope for that to trend down and towards Travion Henderson. Connor Rogers isn't here today. The Mets playoff race has absolutely broken him. I'm on a text thread with Connor talking about the Mets and this Pirates Red series reduced him to absolute rubble. So he needed the day off. But his franchise player in the league of assholes, Javante Williams I think is going to be in a tough spot against the Packers. As we mentioned, seven point Dogs, a late packers rush defense. Think about what the packers did to Jameer Gibbs and Dave Montgomery in Week one and then think about what those guys did to the Ravens defense on Monday night. So I think the packers and the Quinton Judgekin's got a little bit going on the ground against them still think this is an elite rushing defense and I wouldn't expect that Javante has game script either.
Matthew Berry
The other thing that's hurting Javante Williams in this particular game especially is that again we think the packers are going to explode offensively. And so I mean the Cowboys secondary has just been brutal. I mean they saw, they saw Luther Burton and Luther Burton and Roma Dunes a crystal Roma Dunes and Luther Burton get loose deep. So they're going to be. I think, I think this is a Matthew golden breakout game. I think Romeo Dobbs has a nice game here as well, especially with Tucker Craft potentially less than 100%. My point being is that they're going to have to be in throw script for a lot of this game and the way Javonte Williams pays off is if he falls into the end zone, which he could, he obviously always can. But I just don't know that they're going to be in scoring position that often against this packers defense as well. Very quickly, before we move on, I just want to point out I just quickly googled the best movies of 1991 according to IMDb. Number one is Terminator 2. Judgment Day. Terminator 2 is great.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, it's a good film.
Matthew Berry
Silence of the Lambs jfk. I could have done without jfk.
Jay Croucher
It's about an hour too Long.
Matthew Berry
Just a little bit. Some of the other ones. Cape Fear. Cape Fear was really a good film. Thelma and Louise. I like Thelma and Louise, but it was a little. It was a bit much just in the set, like all the. There was a bunch of think pieces around what going on. It was a. It was a buddy cop. It was a buddy movie that just happened to. Great. Unbelievable finish. But look who's number 10. Point Break. Point Break is number 10.
Jay Croucher
Absolutely sacrilegious that it's not in the top three at least, but I'm glad at least it snuck into the top 10.
Matthew Berry
I will say that subjectively it starts getting dicey. Number 15 was last boy Scout. That's a Bruce Willis movie. That was terrible.
Jay Croucher
That's not a good movie.
Matthew Berry
That is not a good movie as well. Robin Hood. Prince of thieves is number 16. The doors is 18. I like the doors. Oh, number 20. The commitments. The Commitments is actually a great movie. Do you ever see that one?
Jay Croucher
I didn't say that one.
Matthew Berry
But it's about a local band trying to. Trying to make it. Barton Fink at 21. I like Barton Fink.
Jay Croucher
Sleeping with the Enemy. There's some great. Yeah. Some strange New Jersey.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. Sorry, Lawrence. Maybe that was in 1991.
Lawrence Jackson
That's what I'm going to go with.
Jay Croucher
Regarding.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. All right, time for pass catcher Loves you. Look up more movies, Jay. I'll handle the hosting. I got it. And leading the pass catcher love list here is a guy that we talked about a little bit earlier in the show, and that's Garrett Wilson. As you see there on your screen, he comes in at number nine for me on the week in the rankings. Right. Every game so far this year. Doesn't matter if it's Justin Fields. Doesn't matter if it's Tyrod Taylor. Every game this year, Garrett Wilson's had at least a 37% target share. Not a typo, 37%. By the way, the Dolphins, as we talked about that defense, they allow the highest catch rate per game to opposing wide receivers. So you're telling me a team that's got. That's allowing the highest opposing catch rate to opposing wide receivers is suddenly going to face a wide receiver that's going to get a massive target target share, 37% at least in every single game. Oh, by the way, every game this year, the Dolphins have also allowed a touchdown to a wide receiver, giving Garrett Wilson all the. Garrett Wilson this week. Top nine play for me.
Jay Croucher
Yep. Garrett Wilson, he's very much. It's really him. And JSN are the two guys who are just like you're the entire passing. So guys, ironically Puka Nakur is also kind of there but he's got Devontae Adams as well and those are two of the top five guys by target in the NFL.
Matthew Berry
Yeah.
Lawrence Jackson
The difference is like you see Devonta Adams catch that 50 yard bomb that we haven't seen any signs of that.
Jay Croucher
On the J from Tyler Johnson.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jay Croucher
All right.
Lawrence Jackson
Garrett Wilson, baby.
Jay Croucher
We have seen that from Roma dunes A though who is my contribution to the love list. I know this is going to be DJ Moore's passing.
Matthew Berry
Sure.
Jay Croucher
Primarily to receiver. Not the case at all. Just have to concede the feed on that Roma dunes A this offense is running through him through the air and he gets a very favorable matchup against the Raiders secondary that does not look particularly good at the moment. So very high total matchup. That's pushing 50 as a total. So Roma Dunze I think Lawrence Caleb Williams he's shown big strides the past couple weeks. He looks much, much better than he did last year.
Lawrence Jackson
He's done it each each week he's gotten better. In the one consistent is Roman Duzay with him scoring every game. A dunze is so he's the one leading target. He's the guy now. So Caleb Williams knows that's getting Luther Burton involved. But even with all that it comes back to Roma Dunze and that's a big reason why Caleb Williams keep having his best game every week.
Matthew Berry
I overrun in this game is 47 and a half. I might even take the over here as well. I think, I think this is going to be a sneaky shootout game. Really fun. So yeah, love Caleb in this game. Love, love Roma Dunes as well I think actually you know, spoiler alert in terms of what's coming up here in quarterbacks. But like I think Gino has a nice game here as well. Like I think I think you've got two reasonably well functioning offenses against two bad defenses. I think this is going to be a fun one. The fantasy football show asks me true or false. A dunes 8 is better than Drake London all year long. You are the biggest Drake London fan I know. Lawrence Jackson. I put that to you Detective Drake London or Romo Dunes.
Lawrence Jackson
I'm one of them. Ah man, it is very easy to say Roma Dunesday as we sit here. Man.
Jay Croucher
I think Triclonom might be the better receiver but I think that's quarterback that.
Lawrence Jackson
That'S what it is that I don't question at all. Never questioned that. I'm gonna say it. Doomsday man. Yeah, I said, I get that making, making. He making too many in it. It's not fluky. He's getting the targets, he's getting the receptions, the yards, the touchdowns. So even when Caleb Williams doesn't have a great quote unquote passing game, Roma Dunze has still been a top 10 wide receiver.
Matthew Berry
We saw this in the preseason. We thought Odunze might break out this year. I don't think we expected what has happened so far, but you know, we saw the preseason usage and we liked a Dunze. But he is, he is this year becoming everything we thought he was going to be last year coming out of college where he was a top 10 overall pick. I will say that the other thing that's in the benefit on the side of the A Dunes A that's a benefit to Dunesay is that the Falcons. I'm sorry, not the Falcons. The Bears have a bad defense. They're going to constantly like and. And the more they get comfortable in Ben Johnson's offense, the more they're going to be able to exploit this. That's part of the problem here is that not only is Penix played bad, but the Falcons, other than last week, they got blown up by your Panthers. By the Panthers, Sorry, not your Panthers. Your Falcons got blown up.
Lawrence Jackson
No, they're my Panthers. They're my Panthers. No, you win 30 to 0, you're my team.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, you get. You now get Lawrence. Yeah. Not only do you get the win, you also get Lawrence. As a fan, but no, just Penix is. Penix has been bad and the Falcons defense I think is better than the Bears defense. So I don't know that the Falcons are going to get into kind of crazy again. They were down 30 points last week. But generally speaking, I don't think they're going to ask.
Lawrence Jackson
Because of the offense. Yeah, that was, that was the offense.
Jay Croucher
I'll tell you what, Michael Penix, he's young, he's started six games in the NFL. I'm not going to write him off yet. But if he's three more games like that, like Raheem Morris, those guys, they coach you for their jobs like they could be. I wouldn't rule out a change there if it continues to look like this.
Matthew Berry
We talked about this on Monday, which was that like Raheem Morris was asked, hey, are you thinking about going back to Kirk Cousins? And now he shut that down. He's like, no, this is Michael Penix's job. But the fact Is Penix was bad enough that somebody could ask that question legitimately because they weren't asked that question in the preseason. They didn't ask it after game one, but after game two they're like, are you thinking about it?
Lawrence Jackson
They.
Matthew Berry
It was a legit. It's a legit question.
Lawrence Jackson
I don't think it is because it's six games into his career. We, we get too quick.
Matthew Berry
This is a team that's expected to win the division Lawrence or at least make the playoffs. And the fact that they lose. It's not that they lost the Panthers, whatever. The packers lost the Browns.
Lawrence Jackson
They lost to the paper.
Matthew Berry
No, but. No, no, no, hang on. Yes, it's. That's, that's the point. It's not that they lost to the Panthers because any given Sunday you can have a bad loss. Like I said, Browns beat the Packers. It's the fact they lost 30 to nothing. It's how they looked. It's not they, it's not that they lost a squeaker and there was a fluke play and the guy hit a 60 yard field goal at the buzzer to win. Like you guys couldn't do anything against the worst defense in the NFL.
Lawrence Jackson
I wonder if Kirk Cousins wasn't the backup with the question be asked because when you got Kirk Cousins who was a 10 plus year starter, that kind of.
Jay Croucher
That's the problem.
Matthew Berry
I should have tried 10 plus years started that. They paid $100 million guaranteed to bring in.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
So no, I removed from the Achilles.
Lawrence Jackson
I get why.
Matthew Berry
And everyone likes him after quarterback.
Jay Croucher
The elbow thing last year. Yeah. I wouldn't be shocked. All right, let's stay in the NFC south. But pivot to. To my former flame, the New Orleans Saints have moved on. I'm a Coltsman now. But Chris Olave Matthew against the Buffalo Bills. The Saints are 16 point dogs in this one, so they're probably gonna need to throw.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. By the way, and even prior to, prior to this game where they heard more than two touchdown underdogs, they were third in the NFL in pass attempts. There's only two teams in the NFL that are throwing more than ratty ice himself, Spencer Rattler and the New Orleans Saints. And by the way, when he's throwing, he's throwing to Chris Olavi. It's one of the reasons why Kamara has struggled so much because he's not getting the passing game work. But Chris Olavi leads the NFL with 37 targets. No wide receiver, no player in the NFL has more targets this year than Chris Olavi. He's got a 32% target share and that includes at least one end zone target in every single game so far this season. So they're throwing, they're throwing a lot and when they throw they're looking at Chris Olavi. So on the road at Buffalo where they're double digit underdogs, more than two touchdown underdogs, they're going to be a negative game script to throw against Buffalo. I do think you can throw against Buffalo. I think there might be some junk time here. I have Chris Olavi at wide receiver 14 this week. It's a top 15 play.
Jay Croucher
Yep. It's always a question of health with Chris Olave when he's out there. His whole career he's been an absolute boss. We've mentioned Drizzy Drake London before Lawrence. He gets a very favorable matchup against. Well a favorable matchup against the Commanders don't have a lot of defence and if they don't fix it this week then you lose confidence that it's going to get fixed this season.
Lawrence Jackson
You got to see some here especially because these two teams played late in the season last year and they came down to the wire. This is one of those games where we saw Penix and was like oh he's he going to be the guy like you going toe to toe with a quarterback who bout to be rookie of the year. So now you run into the Commanders again who you know they're allowing the 8th most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. They just let the Las Vegas Raiders wide receivers go for 247 receiving yards in week three. This will be the thing for me right here with Drake London. Right. Week one Pennix through 42 passes. Week two he owned through 21 because they didn't have to do anything against the Vikings. Week three he threw it 36 times which we like that we dislike it when you throw to Drake London not to the other team.
Matthew Berry
So yes sir.
Lawrence Jackson
Drake London Week 115 targets. Week 2 only four again they didn't have to do none last week. Eight targets. So he's still getting the look. So against this defense got to step it up a little bit and I expect Drake London to.
Jay Croucher
Okay question from Aloha Bricks. It's a great name. Do you like long term London or Olave there? I'm going London London mainly because of the health concern. A lot of one big hit from.
Matthew Berry
Health and I you know, I mean Spencer Rattler has been better than expected.
Jay Croucher
Better than Michael Penix this year for sure.
Matthew Berry
But I'm just banking on Just banking on either Penix will figure it out or they will turn to Kirk Cousins who will be able to get the ball to Drake London. I'm curious here guys though this Atlanta Washington game is a really interesting one just because I feel like just talk to talking NFL for one quick second. This feels like a very big gut check game for both teams. Commanders two and one, Falcons are one and two.
Jay Croucher
Yeah.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. So Falcons are one and two, Commanders two and one. Commander's favored by one and a half. So basically saying this is a pick em Vegas is saying these two teams are basically equal and so Jay always says how home field is worth one and a half points. Right. And so I guess actually they're saying the Commanders are a point better but this is, this feels like this is an important game for the Commanders went fine. They beat the Raiders and they beat the Giants, whatever. But they got their ass kicked by the Packers. This is like the first like team that's comparable to them that they're going to be competing with for like a wild card spot potentially if they can't pass the Eagles in the east. And so and you know Falcons don't want to be 1 in 3 not with the Buccaneers off to a hot so this is like a very important game for both teams I think. Really interesting.
Jay Croucher
Yep, absolutely. All right, let's go back to Dallas. We will be on Sunday to Ferg Daddy. Yeah. Jake Ferguson. The Ferglar, the Ferglor. That's not bad. Fergalicious who has been peppered with targets.
Matthew Berry
22 receptions on 26 targets over the past two weeks. He's averaging 19 fantasy points per game. We've already talked about this game how we expect Dallas to be in games in passing game script for much much of the year. It's worth noting that the packers for all their defensive prowess they're actually bottom three in the NFL in receptions in yards allowed. Two opposing tight ends, Njoko and Fannin were decent last week in a low scoring game against them with Joe Flacco and so Dak Prescott who's always looked towards Jake Ferguson. Remember no Ceedee Lamb in this game. So it's going to be Pickens and some combination of Jalen Tolbert and Kavonte Turpin. So I do think Ferguson who they've looked to a lot again 26 targets just the last two weeks should get even more love in a favorable matchup against the packers as well. So the Furgler is a top five fantasy tight end for me this week.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah I didn't See Kyle Pitts on that top 10 list. Matthew, what's going on?
Matthew Berry
You know, I'll tell you what's going on, Lawrence. You can make your own top 10 list.
Lawrence Jackson
No, no, I'm not on my own show. I'm on your show. When I'm on your show, I want to see Kyle Pitts in top 10 regardless of if he puts.
Matthew Berry
I'm going to ask. I'm going to ask NBC Sports right now. Because they occasionally watch the show. It's clear that the Peacock.
Jay Croucher
Yeah, the peacock sits in his office.
Matthew Berry
Uncle Peacocky. I'm going to ask you right now, Uncle Peacocky, if you would in fact give my guy Lawrence Jackson a show. Let's, let's, let's debut the Lawrence Jackson show. Somewhere on. It's on Peacock. You know what I mean? Like, whatever we got, we got plenty of space.
Lawrence Jackson
With no name. Like, no Lawrence's football show. Just the Lawrence.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, the Lawrence Show.
Jay Croucher
The Lawrence Show. All right, let's get to all those receiving votes.
Matthew Berry
Oh, how about. I got it. I got. How about Lawrence Live with like a big, with sparkles and like a big exclamation point. It's Lawrence Live. I love this. And you're, you're, you're doing, you're doing like dancing and singing. You're telling jokes, magic tricks, and you're ranking Kyle Pitts number one every single week.
Jay Croucher
I love spot.
Lawrence Jackson
I'm good with the last part.
Matthew Berry
Yeah. All right.
Jay Croucher
Well, it's been the Quentin Johnson show in la, Matthew, and he headlines others receiving votes. Go take it away. Make some points.
Matthew Berry
Sure. Look, QJ has had at least seven targets in every single game this year over a 21% target share. And he's hanging on to the ball. We like this matchup against the Giants who've allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. I do think this is a game where McConkey gets off the schneide, but again, there's enough passing volume in this Chargers offense to support three guys. And QJ is a top 25 play for me this week. Let's talk about Ricky Piersol going against Jacksonville again. Juwan Jennings working his way back. But last week with Jennings out, 29% target share for Ricky Piersol, seventh among wide receivers in yards per route run through three weeks. Brock Purdy back at practice. Hopefully he can go this weekend. We'll see. But it's trending in the right direction. I already spoke about Matthew Goldman, that I think Matthew Goldman has a breakout game this week. 84% route participation last week 77% of the packers air yards last week and we know you can throw deep on the Cowboys so I think Romeo Dobbs as well. But this can be a Matthew golden breakout game again they've missed just a couple of times but I think against the Cowboys they connect. I'm as a top 40 play and kind of a deep sleeper. Two tight ends on the others receiving votes Hunter Henry against Carolina. No team is allowed more yards to tight ends than the Carolina Panthers. Henry of course coming off the big game I'm as a tight end 6 and how about TJ Hawkinson the Hockler?
Lawrence Jackson
The Hockler just Hawk to up.
Matthew Berry
Anyway the Hockler playing against Pittsburgh 25% target share with Carson Wentz under center last week. We expect Wentz to make another start this week and the Steelers last week gave up 90 yards and two touchdowns to Hunter Henry who we just talked about. Like again I think you can throw to the tight end against the Steelers and so Hawkinson the Hockler hock to a. Whatever you want to call him Hawk daddy. He gets. He gets a bump with Carson Wentz under center.
Jay Croucher
Yep. All right, let's stay in Dublin and go to the hate list. It hasn't really happened in North America for DK Metcalfe, Matthew. And you don't think it'll happen in Europe either.
Matthew Berry
No team has allowed fewer fantasy points to opposing wide receivers than the Minnesota Vikings. They've also given up the second fewest yards. DK Metcalf has scored two touchdowns this year.
Jay Croucher
Right.
Matthew Berry
And he scored in two of the last three games. And yet he's been under 12 and a half fantasy points as you see it there on your screen in every game. Like he's got two touchdowns in three games and yet he still can't crack 12 and a half fantasy points. So going against this Vikings defense where I think they're just going to blitz the hell out of Aaron Rodgers, who's not the most mobile guy in the world, DK Metcalf's not getting downfield. Just a 6.3 average depth of target this year. Only one of his 17 targets this season have been on a deep pass. So I have Metcalf just inside my top 30. I'm at wide receiver 29 and ideally I would have somebody in my lineup besides DK Metcalf Sunday in Dublin.
Jay Croucher
Question from Daniel S. Flex spot Scary Terry, DK or Trey Benson tonight against the Seahawks?
Matthew Berry
I'm going to go with Trey Benson just because Terry, we don't know if McLaurin is definitely playing like so the questions about his health. You just heard me talk about DK Metcalf. I don't like him. So Trey Benson, because you have to make that decision tonight. I know that it's Seattle, but I just think the workload there with Benson, I think he's got the best shot of a touchdown of those three guys. So, yeah, give me Trey Benson also, too.
Lawrence Jackson
That Stillers Minnesota game, that over, under 41.
Matthew Berry
Yes, sir.
Lawrence Jackson
And it's always low when they go over there and play.
Matthew Berry
All those international games are weird. Like they just.
Jay Croucher
It's.
Matthew Berry
Your timing is off and everything like that.
Jay Croucher
You're playing stadium Panthers from last year.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right.
Jay Croucher
Michael Pittman, Lawrence, who's had a very good start to the season, but perhaps a tough matchup against.
Lawrence Jackson
Yeah, pretty good wide receiver, 12 fantasy points per game. But these Rams, we know that Rams defense, we know what they can do, especially with the pass rush. Held Nico Collins to three catches for 25, Calvin Ridley three for 57 and A.J. brown, all zeros for the whole first half. Of course, A.J. brown can go off against anybody. Michael Pitt is not quite A.J. brown against this Rams defense that's only allowing 165 passing yards per game, the six fewest.
Jay Croucher
Yep. I'll add Keon Coleman's list of the hate list as well. Just because they're more than two touchdown favorites against the Saints. Coleman, he only has 46 yards in the past two games. He looks fine, looks like he's developing and playing well. But the issue is, is that outside of that crazy second half that Buffalo had against Baltimore in week one, where it's all off script and just throwing every down. He just hasn't really had to do much because this team's too good. And they're running the ball a ton with James Cook.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, and they got a lot of mouths to fetus as well. Like one week. It's Dalton Kincaid anyway, so I'm with you on that one.
Jay Croucher
Yep. All right. Sunday night, Michael Parsons heads back to Dallas to face the team that traded him away as the packers collide with the Cowboys in a rivalry renewed Sunday, 7 Eastern.bc and Peacock. Don't miss us live at Jerry World for fantasy football pregame Sunday at 11am Eastern on Peacock. Love Hate continues after the break with quarterbacks.

Ben Johnston
Through Caleb's performance.
Matthew Berry
And production from Sunday, what do you want him to carry forward with him.
Jay Croucher
From what he did on Sunday?
Ben Johnston
I think what I'm most impressed that with him and his process is the next day. He really locks everything in from the day before and we don't have to go back and revisit it again. So he's a quick study in that regard and because of that we can load up the game plan more each week. You know he won Offensive Player of the Week there for the NFC and he came in today and completely unfazed by it. You know, I tried to recognize him in front of the group and he wasn't having it, you know, very stoic and he's already on to the next game. He knows he needs to have an even better performance here this week to give us the best chance to win.
Jay Croucher
Kyle's Ben Johnston on Caleb Williams winning offensive player of the week, an award which unfortunately has been forever sullied by JJ McCarthy winning in week one. But that's okay. Caleb Williams comes in at number five on your quarterback rankings, Matthew.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, I mean, we talked about this game a little bit earlier, especially when we were talking about a dunes a. But. But I think this game has sneaky shootout potential. Raiders, Bears. And so so far this year, Caleb Williams is third in deep ball rate, which is obviously for a percentage of passes that go at least 15 air yards or more. He's third like he's chucking it deep in this Ben Johnson's offense. Oh, by the way, the Raiders, they're tied for the fifth most receptions allowed on deep passes. So you get a guy who's throwing it deep against a defense. Ipso facto, ergo, there you go. Obviously you got a guy throwing it deep against a defense that isn't good against the deep ball. By the way, they're also bottom eight in yards for completion and yards for passes. Temple out. These are the Raiders. I have Caleb Williams as a top five fantasy quarterback. Also making the love list. Jordan Love. See what I did there? There you go. Just. Yeah, you should just write that down. A little host hint for you. That's what's called the segue. Yeah, that's fine. Jordan Love is. I can't pass up the segue, Jay. Screw your rundown. Love a God. Here's the thing about Jordan love. Cowboys allow 27.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. That is the most in the NFL. Only three quarterbacks. In fact, all three quarterbacks that have faced the Cowboys so far this year have scored at least 24 fantasy points. There's no team that's worse in pass defense this year than the Cowboys. They're allowing 9.8 yards for pass attempts so far. And the packers, of course, have the second highest implied team total on the slate. Give me Jordan Love is a top 10 fantasy quarterback this week.
Jay Croucher
Yep. This weekend, Lawrence, there's a matchup in Baltimore with the best rushing quarterback back in the NFL. I speak not of Lamar Jackson. I speak of Patrick Mahomes.
Lawrence Jackson
I mean, where do I begin? The Baltimore defense ain't hitting on nothing. They're the worst defense, second worst pass defense, and they allow the fourth most fantasy points per games to quarterback. And Patrick Mahomes versus the Ravens is money. He's 4:1 versus them and he's thrown for at least 340 yards in four of those games. The other one was 291 and now Patrick Mahomes is running because they can't run the ball. And Xavier Worthy got a practice in this week. Like Patrick Mahomes a lot this week.
Jay Croucher
Yep, I like Matthew Stafford a lot. Against the Colts total and that one is 49 and a half juiced over. It might even close 50. The Colts are missing their star slot corner in Kenny Moore. It's a problem because Puka Nakura was playing over 40% of his snaps in the slots and Puka are going to go off. As we look at the matchups with the highest point totals you can see Colts, Rams stands alone, two elite offenses. Who'd have thought that the Indianapolis Colts would be in that discussion? But they are and I think that's.
Matthew Berry
A very real Jaguars 49ers. Having that high of a total is pretty interesting given two Dolphins, no Nick Bosa. No Nick Bosa. I get it. But neither those offenses have looked great as of right. And the Niners obviously banged up may fix that.
Jay Croucher
All right, let's get to some other receiving votes. Another guy who's not looked great so far, Matthew Bo Nix, he has not looked good.
Matthew Berry
But I think the Cincinnati Bengals defense cures all their 25th in pass defense. They've given up five touchdown passes in just the last two games. And the Broncos, surprisingly, despite Bo Nix's struggles, are fifth in pass rate over expected. So I do think at home against the Bengals, Knicks gets it going, gets off the Schneidads a top ten play this week. And I already talked about this a little bit, but how about Geno Smith against that Bears? We think Caleb Williams in Chicago moves the ball and so Gino's going to have to throw, by the way, quietly. This is one of the reasons why Ashton Genti has struggled. That's all Geno is doing. He's throwing. He's averaging over 35 pass attempts a game. That's a top eight in the NFL. And the Bears, for all their offensive success, have struggled defensively. Jalen Johnson, that's an injury. They miss him. Bears are bottom five in both touchdown rate and yards per pass attempt allowed. And so I just, I think this is a sneaky shootout, 47 and a half over under. I think Geno and Caleb go back and forth. I think you could do worse as a streamer this week than Geno Smith.
Jay Croucher
Feels like Geno's destiny is always to have these 320 pass yard games with two touchdowns, one interception and lose by a field goal.
Matthew Berry
Yes.
Lawrence Jackson
You ain't lying.
Jay Croucher
All right, let's jump to the hate list. Another guy who's not afraid of losing a close game, Matthew, is Kyler Murray who to be fair, I thought was actually pretty good against San Francisco. He just got completely screwed by his receivers. But he got gets a brutal matchup against the Seahawks tonight.
Matthew Berry
Yeah, he does. He's had two matchups last year against Mike McDonald's defense. He averaged 14 fantasy points per game in those two games. He also, he in those two games he had only 25 total rushing yards. He had more interceptions than touchdowns. It's a short week that they have to prepare for the Seahawks and you think about the two games that they played Seattle last year. They combined, they scored a combined 24 points. Just the Cardinals offense as well. So I just, I don't like quarterbacks on short weeks. I don't like teams on short weeks. This Seahawks defense is legit. They're the second best scoring defense in the NFL for the first three weeks of the season. So Kyler Murray outside my top 15 for the fantasy week. I am at 16. He's a QB on the hate list.
Jay Croucher
Yep. A lot of excitement for Jackson Dart this weekend making his debut against the Chargers. Lawrence, what you think might be a tough landing spot.
Lawrence Jackson
Congrats on your first start Jackson Dart. You have earned it. These chargers though, 11th fewest fantasy points per game. The quarterback including Patrick Mahomes, going to be a tough defense in your very first game game. So not this week for the rookie.
Jay Croucher
Yep. Jared Goff for me who I thought was really good against Baltimore when the money was on the table on that fourth and two. He delivered to him on R.A. that strike. He's playing really well the past two weeks, Jared Goff. But now he goes up against Cleveland defense which might be the best in football. We saw what they did to Joe Burrow in week one. We saw what they did to Jordan Love in Week 3 and the Browns are almost 10 point dogs in that one too. So the Lion's probably not going to have to throw a ton. And it's scary to go up against Myles Garrett for four quarters. So I like that car golf probably won't have to do a great deal. We have a big one in the Big Ten this weekend. Number eight, Oregon. Number three, Penn State. It's a wide out at Beaver Stadium this Saturday on NBC and Peacock Here comes Saturday Night presented by Discover Our full preview Thursday Night Football takes us home after the break. Let's take a look at the most bet props for Seattle against Arizona. Kyla Murray out rushing yards 25 plus little addition to the parley leg at minus 155 and then plenty of Jackson Smith in Jigba. I'm going to take Jackson Smith and Jigba's teammate Tori Hawk Horton to go over 26 and a half receiving yards. He's at 32 the past two weeks. I think all these Seattle stats are suppressed because they haven't needed to throw the ball. It's just they've been in weird run game scripts. I just have the ball in Week 1 against San Francisco either. I think Tori Horton goes over 26 and a half.
Matthew Berry
What do you like? I like that bet a lot. By the way, Horton continue to improve his usage.
Lawrence Jackson
Jackson Smith and jig business game. Trey McBride, Kenneth Walker. You know who has the best eyes to score a touchdown in this game? Trey Benson. Why? Because he's a running back. He's going to get the most touches and he's running quietly pretty efficient. So I'm going to go with Trey Benson to score at +110.
Matthew Berry
I like both those calls. I'm just taking the Seahawks to win this game and to cover they're minus one and a half. I don't think Arizona is that good. I think they're a fraudulent two and one. I've said that they barely beat, you know, the Panthers and the Saints. They did look better last week, but still traveling on a short week to this Mike McDonald offense. You just heard me talk about why Kyla Murray is on the hate list this week. I don't think he has success here. I think the Seahawks are actually a pretty good team and so especially given the I think they win. I think they win easily. Give me the Seahawks and minus one and a half. I think they, I think they easily cover the point and a half. They're, they're not only a point better than the Cardinals.
Jay Croucher
Cardinals very banged up as well at the moment. So I think Sam Donald's been quietly pretty good for the season.
Matthew Berry

Host: Matthew Berry (with Jay Croucher and Lawrence Jackson)
Main Theme:
Matthew Berry and his co-hosts break down their Week 4 “Love/Hate” list—focusing on fantasy players with the best and worst matchups and outlooks this week. They highlight key starts (Love) and sits (Hate), discuss strategy, and debate player situations including injury impact and trends. Segments also include lively banter, classic movie diversions, and audience Q&A.
This episode dives deep into Week 4 fantasy football, offering the signature blend of analysis and humor from Matthew Berry and his colleagues. Berry, facing a personal rough patch in his own main league, discusses which RBs and WRs he loves and hates this week—anchored by analysis on Breece Hall, Rome Odunze, and Patrick Mahomes—plus key quarterback, tight end, and sleeper options.
On Amarian Hampton (RB): “Players that have a utilization score of 90 or better average over 22 fantasy points per game, are top-five fantasy running backs. Give me all the Amarian Hampton.” —Matthew Berry, 07:52
Hampton tattoo bet:
On Rome Odunze (WR):
On David Montgomery’s tough matchup:
On Chris Olave’s target dominance:
Jordan Mason or David Montgomery, TD-only league?
Are we higher on Breece with Fields or Taylor at QB?
The show is conversational, witty, and insight-driven. Berry, Croucher, and Jackson openly rib each other, drop pop culture references, and blend stats with “eye test” scouting and strong opinions.
This episode is an essential listen for anyone making tough Week 4 lineup decisions. Berry & crew provide specific player calls, context on why, and timely guidance for RB, WR, TE, and QB—plus humor and perspective for those going through fantasy football misery, just like Matthew Berry himself.
