What a play.

Can you believe this?
B
No, I can't. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays at his feet.
C
This is gonna go the distance.
B
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and he.

All right folks, we are recapping the NFL draft with our rankings risers and fallers and where the rookies have ended up in the rankings. Well, I shouldn't say ended up where they are right now in the rankings on Monday, April 27. An exciting time of year. We've got a mock draft tomorrow. We'll break it down for you on Wednesday Show Thursday. I think we're gonna have Jacob and Dan on for a little beyond the box score with the rookie gems. Got a couple of fantasy Analyst gems here, Jamie Eisenberg and Heath Cummings. Dave's gonna be joining us later, guys. Just kind of been reading on Reddit and all online, just different places. Saw it on the news. Apparently Saturday's show was one of the. People are saying it was the. One of the best we've ever had. So I just want you guys to be able to sort of pick up that momentum and kind of bring it today. All right. We good with that? You feeling good?
C
Yeah.
A
Okay, good.
C
I mean, listen, you are the male podcast host of the decade.
A
Yeah, yeah, they give that already for the 20s. They were like, we don't even need to go through the rest of the decade. We're just going to give it to them right now. Anyway, Saturday was crazy. We had real scheduling issues, so the best we could do is just me chatting for 12 minutes. Hope everybody was able to get something out of it. But I would love to know what you guys thought about day three. Were there any day three picks that stood out to you? Heath Cummings.
B
Well, it was nice to see some running backs drafted. Yeah, it would have been nice if some of them would have been drafted. At least the guys we liked. Two situations where they might start. But no, it was nice to see the running backs drafted.
A
Okay, so we had Jonah Coleman.
B
Like, there's some quarterbacks that I wasn't really that excited about that may have a chance to compete for a starting job.
A
All right, so we'll just take a look at all the quarterbacks we're taking. We have Mendoza and Simpson around one. Carson Beck to Arizona in round three. Drew Aller to the Steelers in round three. Cade Club Nick out of Clemson to the jets in round four. Cole Payton to the Eagles in round five. Taylor Green to the Browns. They have now four quarterbacks in round six. Ethan. Oh, man. Kaliakmanus. I can't remember how to say that. I was watching the highlights out of Rutgers going to Washington, Baron Morton to the Patriots, and Garrett Nussmeier to the Chiefs. So I'm. You're thinking club Nick and. And Peyton. Club Nick and.
B
And I forgot that Drew Aller was drafted on. On day two, but I was including him in that also.
A
Okay, Jamie, any. Any day three picks that stood out to you?
C
I think he said it best with the running backs. Like, it's just, you know, now we have at least a handcuff for Ashton Genti. We have a potential, you know, running back of the future. Maybe in Denver. You know, you started to talk about Jonah Coleman. I think we might have the handcuff for Kenneth Walker III in Kansas City, you know, so they weren't like, hey, look, these guys got chances. This crappy running back group, you know, it's like, how can we make this worse for fantasy football managers? And they found a way to make it worse, you know, so I'm curious, you know, I'm. I just saw the first pick in one of my Dynasty leagues. You know, the rookie draft started. I know we're going to have a couple of our drafts that were in together, you know, starting soon. It's going to be fascinating to see, really, back end of round one, beginning round two, and then obviously, once we get to August, when we have a little bit more clarity, when we start to do redrafts that matter, you know, we're going to. Like you said, we're going to start to do a lot of drafts on our end. But, you know, let's be honest, that's more for content purposes than it is for people that are playing. When people are doing this for real, you know, when are they going to start to dive into this, this rookie class and start drafting them? Heath, I know we're posting our rankings on the site this week. Like, you know, I was updating them throughout the week, and I'm sure you, you were as well, you know, doing projections. Like, it's. It's just like, so uninspiring. Like, usually we're like 30 rookies. 40, rook. You know, it's like, I think there was, like, there was five running backs and like 10 receivers and one tight end for me. Like, that's all I got.
B
Well, I think that's. That's the, like, because I'm going through doing the. Doing my rookie top 40 for Dynasty that I'm gonna publish probably in about 15 minutes after this podcast gets over. And like that group of Emmett Johnson, Mike Washington, Nick Singleton, Jonah Coleman, like, I really expected one or two of those guys were going to have a projectable role in 20, in 2026. And like, I. Those are kind of guys, like, we'll rank them as late draft picks as handcuffs, and maybe Joni Coleman's a little better than that, but they. They basically just have no projection for year one.
A
Well, all right, let me, Let me. Okay, so I talked about this on Saturday. I'm not going to just redo the show, but first of all, I just wanted to play this because kind of the vibe I'm getting right now. But let me just go through the day. Three running backs and what I thought some of them, not all of Them. And you guys give me a quick reaction. Jonah Coleman to the Broncos. Fourth running back off the board. First running back of round four. I think bad for R.J. harvey. I think if, if J.K. dobbins gets hurt, I think Coleman comes in and has a role there. There's a report in the Athletic that he's already going to have a short Y and that he'll compete for the third down role. But I think bad for RJ Harvey. Did you guys feel that way?
B
Slight downgrade for Harvey because of what you said. I don't think the upside is as big when Dobbins gets. If Dobbins gets injured, I don't know that I really think it will change things very much. While Dobbins and Harvey are both healthy, right?
A
Yeah. Well, unless he's taking goal line carries,
B
which, I mean, yeah, that would be weird. It's Sean Payton. So they're like somebody other running back was probably going to have 80 touches next year. It frustrated us whether it was Tyler bidet or Julio McLaughlin or like whoever. So Coleman's better than those guys. But there's always going to be our third running back.
A
Okay.
C
This is somebody that I'm very interested in for 2027.
A
Yeah. And as I mentioned on Saturday, this was the second pick they made in the draft. They didn't have a first or second round pick. So Coleman, second pick for the Broncos. Mike Washington to the Raiders, Emmett Johnson to the Chiefs. Those look like handcuffs right now. We don't even know that. But that's the possibility.
C
I think. Washington for sure. Johnson probably in a shared situation with Burchard Smith. But I would guess if something happens to Walker, like that's going to be the guy we're going to look at. And knowing Walker's injury history, it's, you know, easy late round pick, at least for me.
B
And I think there's a possibility. I hate to say this for the sake of Ashton Genti, but I think there's a possibility that Mike Washington could matter as the RB2 in the Kubiak offense. It might. It might be that he's getting 10 touches a game and he has enormous big play upside. So he actually, I have him projected for more points next year than Jonah Coleman or this year than Jonah Coleman.
C
I agree.
A
That's Mike Washington going to the Raiders. So Nicholas Singleton, I said Interesting. For 2027, Tony Pollard's in a contract year. Tajie Spears has had three games in his career with more than 10 carries, maybe four games. So we'll see as a former five star recruit Nicholas Singleton. I don't think I mentioned Adam Randall, but Adam Randall is really interesting. He looks good out there. He's a converted wide receiver. He's going to the Ravens. Obviously that's Derrick Henry's backfield, but look, round five running back. It's unlikely. But then Catron Allen. I mean, how can you guys not look at Katron Allen going to the commanders and think this guy's got a chance to be their starting running back?
C
That's.
A
I, I think that's the. I think that's the most interesting one. I probably should have put him number one on my most interesting list. But now that I think about it, like, he's got the best chance to be the starting running back of any of these guys, doesn't he?
B
I, I wish it would have been one of the first four guys we were talking about.
C
Yeah.
A
I just.
B
I don't think he's going to do anything on passing downs. And I don't think he's the one thing that Bill's good at is running the football. Like, I don't think. I don't think Catron Allen's a better rusher than, than Bill is.
A
So.
B
And he's probably not gonna put passing down. So it's.
A
Yeah.
C
Sorry.
A
Yeah. I don't, I don't. I mean.
C
Right.
A
Allen's not my, My favorite guy. He's.
C
You know.
A
But. Right. I wish it had been a running back, but opportunities there and then. I don't know if there's anyone else I talked about. No, I don't think so. I. We're good there. Although Damon Claiborne to Minnesota. We'll see. Maybe down the line.
B
Eli Heinrich.
A
Heidenreich's interesting. He's not really a running back. He's the leading.
B
But he was drafted as a running
A
back by name only. He's Navy's leading receiver. As a running back.
C
He could be the slot receiver for Pittsburgh.
A
He could be a running back too. He's a. He's an interesting player. I have no idea what to make of Eli Heidenreich. Okay. Yeah. Very cool. Those are your. Some day. Three picks that stood out. I talked about some wide receivers. Maybe we'll get to them today on this show as well. FFT Dynasty. Very important week for FFT Dynasty. Make sure you listen to that. Beyond the box Score. I mentioned we're gonna have Jacob and Dan on. On Thursday, but they've got their own show as well. They have their own YouTube channel. Look for beyond the Box Score on YouTube. They have their own podcast OB News and Notes. Mike Tomlin was asked who he thought Pittsburgh starting quarterback would be and he didn't. He didn't say it's going to be Aaron Rodgers. If you had to make me choose, I'd say it's going to be Aaron Rodgers. So that's I guess still we'll call him the clubhouse leader. And I mentioned that Nick Cosmetor of the Athletic thinks that Broncos running back Jonah Coleman, the rookie we just talked about, could be the short yardage back. But can he take over the third down role from Tyler Bidet? And just that was the question there. And he's got the skill set to do it but just so you know, he didn't but they didn't have the third down role to himself. He split it with RJ Harvey and continued to split it with RJ Harvey after Dobbins was injured. Just some offensive line notes. The teams just to recap that took offensive tackles in round one or Cleveland, technically the Giants but they're moving Maui Noah to guard. So Cleveland, Miami, Detroit. Those three teams took offensive lineman's that I assume will start hopefully immediately for them offensive tackles, Pittsburgh, New England and Carolina. Or it was actually in the order of Carolina, Pittsburgh, New England. Those three teams took offensive tackles that don't necessarily need to start right away.
C
Carolina will.
A
Well that depends on Ikea Kwanu. Right. And if he's back in time Ikea Quanu is recovering from a ruptured patellar patellar tendon that he suffered in the playoffs. So Carolina, maybe Pittsburgh and New England probably not going to start their left tackle offensive tackles in week one or maybe at any point this year. The Browns, by the way, they were the first team to select two offensive tackles. They took the first offensive tackle Spencer Fano in round one and they took the third rounder, Austin Barber. So they prioritize that position. The Cleveland Browns and and a really good draft. The team that took two or the team that took an interior offensive lineman early. Giants, Ravens, although the Ravens still don't have a center necessarily. And Houston. Those three teams took interior guys in the first round and the Cardinals took one in the with the 34th pick they might move him to tackle Chicago. And the Chargers also drafted interior offensive linemen in the second round. All right, let's take a break and when we come back where did you rank the rookies starting with Jeremiah Love after this on Fantasy Football Today, let's check in on the serta counting sheep.
C
Why aren't we counting anymore. Well, the all new Serta Perfect sleeper has the Q4 support system that helps relieve aches and back pain.
A
We'll never get counted again.
C
Uh, nope.

rookies and where we have them ranked. And let's start with Jeremiah, Love and Jamie. Where'd you go with Love and Heath? You follow up?
C
I put Love, I think originally when we had the Discussion following the first round, I think I said I had him at 15. I moved up to 14. So running back 14. That would put him in early round three. I don't know if he's going to get to round three. I think everybody gets excited about players like this. We know we've had that. We had the discussion Thursday night. Bijan Robinson, first running back off the board. He was around one pick in his rookie campaign. Ashton Genty was a round one pick or early round two. Whatever the I don't remember the ADP finished but he was in the top 15 overall picks. It's understandable to get excited about Love. He has that type of profile to be an elite playmaker. It's just on what could be a bad team, on what could be a crowded back in what could be a crowded backfield. So I'm a little bit concerned about Love just reaching that top end potential at least in his rookie campaign. So for me he's a early third round pick. Maybe he gets into the the 2, 3 turn. But for right now he's RB14.
B
I think I had him like three spots behind that. So RB17. And like I, I, everything Jamie said is right. Like he, he has the upside to make that look dumb and to be worth a first round pick. But I do think it's a bad offense. I think like when you compare his situation, I'm to somebody like Bruce Holes. I'm not sure that it's that much different except Bruce all might have a better quarterback. We'll see if Jacoby Brissette's willing to play on the contract he's on right now.
A
Okay, so would you go with Saquon Barkley or, or Jeremiah Love?
C
Barkley.
B
Barkley.
A
Ken Walker in that year ago. Ken. Ken Walker.
C
Love Walker.
B
For me I have Walker.
A
Full ppr. Derek Henry or Love?
C
Henry? Henry.
A
You know, it's a weird little aside here. So you kind of can split rookie running backs into the guys who were drafted in the top 10, right? Big pedigree. Barclays and Fournettes and Zekes and Loves and Bijan's genties of the world. And the guys who were taken, you know, like Omarion Hampton and Naji Harris and Josh Jacobs. There are so few rookie running backs who get drafted in the teens. Jameer Gibbs was the only one I could think of. He had a great rookie season, but not until Montgomery got hurt and Melvin Gordon also was drafted.
C
McCaffrey 11.
A
No, McCaffrey was 8. Gurley was 10. According to what I'm looking at now, I think it's right. Melvin Gordon, 15. There are. Ryan Matthews in 2010 was 12th. There are so few rookie running backs who fall in the teens. What's up with that? Interesting. By the way, can I consider 12th overall, the teens?
B
Of course.
A
You know exactly what I'm getting at. It's 11 through, I guess 11 through 20. All right, how about.
B
Are you saying 20s in the teens?
A
Well, that's the thing. I have to make a decision. I think you got to go 1 through 10, 11 through 20, and then 21. Really? 32.
B
What if you just went with the numbers that have teen in it?
C
I don't know. That doesn't make any sense to me.
A
All right, how about Jadarian Price? Heath, where do we go on on Price?
B
I am so conflicted on this one. As of right now, I've got him at RB 30.
A
Excuse me. RB 30, that's pretty low. Okay, Jamie, how about you?
C
23.
A
Oh, okay. Big difference. Heath, your thoughts?
B
I am just not sure that he's going to have a very big role once Zach Charbonnet is back. Like, I think he's probably ends up in a 50, 50 split. And listen, there's a benefit to drafting for a hot start, but I also don't know that he's going to go week one as a 18 touch per game guy. Like, I think it maybe takes him a little time to work into that role in Seattle and then he's also going to have Zach Charbonnet coming back. Maybe not early in the season, but I would think definitely by the time we get to the fantasy playoffs.
C
So I, I don't disagree with that. Obviously we have to see what the, the Charbonnet rehab and, and role will be when healthy. So that will probably, you know, change a little bit by the time we get to August. I think negatively for me and probably positively for Heath, depending on which way it goes. I look at the fact that they did not have a lot of draft capital and they spent one of their four picks, the first pick that they had. And I know, you know, you, you know how much I don't know how many people followed, you know, the intimate details of some of the draft picks, but Seattle was apparently trying to trade out. They had some things happen in front of them that, that failed to. Some of those trades materialized and so I don't think they panicked and took Price. I'm sure that this was a player that they were, you know, targeting and obviously makes a lot of sense for the roster. But, you know, you are talking about a, a running back in Charbonnet that suffered this injury in the divisional round of the playoffs. And to his point, we may not see him until the fantasy playoffs and, and the Seahawks, if they're making it a playoff run or super bowl run, obviously. But it feels as if Price has an opportunity here to just completely push aside two guys that have, you know, clearly been backups in, in George Holani, Emmanuel Wilson and step into, you know, nearly 400 total vacated targets touches. It's a great opportunity. So that running back group for me is very jumbled. He's mentioned Breeze Hall, Andre Swift, Facial Tutin, David Montgomery. You know, that there's that sort of tier of guys that should be featured options, could be featured options, could be in some good offenses, could be in some crappy offenses, you know, have touchdown potential, have receiving option, you know, receiving potential. I just look at the, the situation scenario and draft capital, I'm somewhat excited about Price and he may move up a spot or two, to be honest, is interesting.
A
The fact that he doesn't have that much work. 280 carries in three seasons is pretty low. Season high. Career high was 120 in a season that was 20, 24. Also 15 catches in his career. So. I don't know, Heath, I don't know if you. If you remember whatever, any scouting breakdown that you had on the Dynasty show on Price, but does he look like a guy that's going to catch passes?
B
I think there's a whole. A whole lot of. We think he has the skills to do a lot of things. We've not seen him do them. Yeah, and that goes for the past. Catching probably more than the rushing because his efficiency as a backup running back was good. It's just. Is that because he was seeing so little work and it's easier to be an efficient running back, but that's. That's part of the reason why he's so low. For me, just looking at, I think probably 28 or 29, I'll probably come up a couple of spots from 30 just because he is a young guy with upside, but there's just so much uncertainty over how big his role is going to be for a guy who's never really had a big role.
A
Right. All right, that's Jadarian Price. I'll give you some ors. Jadarian Price or a Patriots running back.
C
Price.
B
I'll go Traybillon.
A
Jadarian Price or David Montgomery, who, by the way, is on Houston, in case you've forgotten. We haven't spoken about him in a while. Price or Montgomery Price.
C
That.
B
That's the guy that I had one spot ahead of him.
C
I'll.
B
I'll probably have Price.
A
Okay. All right, let's go to the wide receivers here. I know what the answer was on Thursday. It was Lemon for Jamie, and it was Heath. Heath and Dave had Tate. Who's your highest ranked rookie wide receiver? Heath?
B
Tate.
A
Still Lemon? Jamie?
C
No, I moved Tate ahead of Lemon. Just, you know, taking a, you know, bigger, broader look at it. Obviously, Lemon could have a huge role. I think he's gonna have usually my second favorite receiver. But I moved Tate. So in Redraft, I moved in. In our Redraft rankings, I moved Tate one spot ahead of Lemon. So I think when I did it Thursday night, my rankings was Lemon, and then somebody was in between. I don't remember who it was. And then I had Tate, and I'm like, you know, I gotta give. Came more. A little bit more credit. Gotta give Brian Dable a little more credit. Gotta give the situation a Little bit more credit. You know, I think on Thursday I said wouldn't shock me if Wando's still too much too involved, you know, just from the, the connection there and maybe giving Lemon too much credit, you know, and not enough to devonte Smith as well. Plus the addition of Towers, you know, I think that factors and also, you know that they may do what everybody else is doing, especially Sean Manion. Now another new play caller coming in. You know, more two tight end sets. So it could take away some targets from Lemon as well. And I think also, you know, look, we're, we're all assuming A.J. brown is gone. There's a lot of bodies there now. You know, this is a team that had very concentrated targets to two wide receivers. And Marquis Brown is still a good player. He may not be the player that he was when he was in Baltimore, but he's still a good player and will get some opportunities. Don Tavian Wicks may still be an untapped guy that could get some chances to make some plays. So if they start to get a little bit more multiple with how they use their receivers and take away from even Devonte Smith and what the upside could be there and obviously the upside of what Lemon can be, there's just an easier path to success for, for Cardinal Tate, you know, so clearly Clavin, Calvin Ridley may have a role and the two rookies from a year ago now sophomore receivers and DK and
B
what's
C
the kid from Stanford, You know, they may have a role as well. But I just think Tate draft capital Match should matter. Eric, opportunity as well.
A
Yeah, I was trying to think of like the anatomy of a good rookie wide receiver and boy, it's really just looking at guys who got to a thousand yards. It's really unpredictable. Just over the last six years, right? No one could have seen it coming for Puka. Nakua, the fact that Cooper cup missed seven games. No, he. He played Cooper. He played 12 games. By the way, Jamie, not to be a jerk, but last week you. Sir, two weeks ago I think you said that Cooper cup was coming off his triple crown season as actually two years before they drafted Puka. He was coming off a nine game season where he averaged about 90 yards per game, but he was coming off an injured season. But no one could have seen Puka coming. Jamar Chase.
C
You're prickly.
A
Jamar Chase. I don't know who ends up winning that vote, by the way. I think probably Heath. Although when he made a subtle comment about how bad the Knicks were, it did make Me even more prickly. A couple.
B
Did I make a comment about how bad the Knicks?
A
Yeah, you made a comment about the NBA playoffs. I knew it was about the next.
B
I think it was a comment about how great the playoffs have been. And they. They've been fantastic. It's a great series. Well, only one team, very evenly matched teams.
A
Only one team. No, no, they're not. That's what pisses me off. They're not. Anyway, Jamar Chase was on a team that had a young quarterback and also had T. Higgins and only threw the ball 32.6 times per game. And yet Chase had an amazing year. Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen was coming off a terrible season. So maybe we should have seen like the changing of the guard there. But that was still tough. The Brian Thomas Jr. Thing was. Was very much like they didn't have a good passing offense. They threw for 3,700 yards and 19 touchdowns.
C
Backup quarterback.
A
Yeah, right. But obviously he benefited from Kirk and Ingram playing eight or nine games each. How about that? Would you have told. Would you have ever thought if I had told you the New York Giants in 2024, we're going to throw for 3,521 yards and 15 touchdowns and Wondale Robinson is going to have 140 targets. That's the scenario which Malik Neighbors was a fantasy stud. Isn't that wild? Yeah, lad McConi. I think looking back at that, we were excited about. Was it Josh Palmer we thought would be good? Quentin Johnston was there.
C
Wasn't that Dave's summer guy?
A
Maybe. And. And there was reason for it because Palmer in the past had. Had been good in little audition games where guys had been out. But maybe we should have thought, oh, McConkey's got a better chance here. Garrett Wilson, you know, dominated targets. I think Chris Olave dominated targets with bad receiving course Ted roll McMillan as well. I don't remember the exact circumstances for Jalen Waddle. They had Devonte Parker, but Micah Sicki. Jalen Waddle got a ton of the.
C
At the time, the NFL record for rookie receptions.
A
Yeah. So I guess my point is they come in different shapes and sizes. It's. Lemon is. Is the number two receiver on a team that doesn't throw much, but that doesn't mean he can't have a great season. But, you know, I guess you probably prefer a guy who's the number one receiver, which we think Tate is more likely to be the number one receiver than Wanda. I don't know who leads the team in targets.
C
I would think totality would be Wandale, but I think it's one of those where targets per game shifts in the middle of the season from Wandell to Tate.
B
Yeah, I have them like just about dead even.
C
Okay.
A
All right. Sorry for that detour. And did you guys want to know
B
where we were ranking those guys?
A
I was about to say. Did you say where you. Where you were ranking them? Not Wandale or you, but the rookies?
B
No. I've got Tate, I think at 33, Tyson at 34, and Lemon at like 38.
C
I have Tate at 31, Lemon at 32, Tyson at like 35.
A
Okay, who's in that range? Jamie, who are some other guys there?
C
It's in the same range as Christian Watson, Alec Pierce, Godwin. Wanda was not far behind those type of guys.
B
Jordan Addison for me.
A
What about a Jameson Williams?
C
Williams is ahead of those.
B
Yep.
C
Oh, Dunes ahead of those guys. Metcalf Sutton behind those guys.
A
Right. So, okay, Jaguars receivers,
C
they're all behind the rookies.
B
For me, I have Jacoby ahead.
A
Looking at this mock draft from a couple months ago, a month ago. How took Brian Thomas Jr. Round six. What an idiot. How about Chris Godwin or a rookie?
C
Again? Imagine saying that a year ago.
B
I'll take the rookies over Godwin.
C
I have the rookies over. I think I might have Godwin over Tyson, but I have Tate and Lemon over them. Over.
A
All right, how many.
C
How.
A
We've had at Last one top 24 wide receiver in 11 straights. At least 11 straight seasons at the end of the day. So that doesn't mean they're that much better than the guys who are 30 or whatever, but it does. Hopefully that'll continue. We'll get a top 24 guy. That's really. I think.
C
I think you will again. You know, you look at Tate's situation in Tennessee, it's. It's very ideal. If Cam Moore takes a step forward, which I think a lot of people saw toward the end of the season, him playing much better. I think you look at Lemon situation, he's stepping into a great role. If you just, you know, assign the AJ Brown targets to him. Forget about how it gets. How he gets it done, but, you know, he's a good playmaker, certainly with a ball in his hands. Jordan Tyson could be, you know, great in. In New Orleans if he can, you know, if Tyler Schuck takes a step forward and we can get two targets operating at a high level, and then there's going to be a surprise or two. I mean, look, you know, Concepcion, if he's that type of player that everybody thought he was coming out of Texas A M and the quarterback play in Cleveland, whoever the starter may be, can, can feature him, I don't think. You know, and, and he. Correct me if I'm wrong because I know you were very high on Harold Fanon going into the draft process, but I don't think anybody saw that level of fantasy production for him in his rookie campaign. You know, so it could happen. And then, you know, I, I think you look at some of these guys, like Douglas in Miami, for example, somewhat of an afterthought. Right. In, in the draft process, in the rankings, in, in you know, pre draft rankings in NFL and you know, fantasy and reality. Like he could, he could lead all rookie receivers targets. You know, I mean this, especially with Chris Bell coming back from ACL too. Like, you know, there's a huge opportunity there and then two guys that I, I'm, I'm excited about maybe more short term than long term just because of their, their chances. You know, we talked about this a little bit Friday night. Antonio Williams in Washington.
B
Yep.
C
And Zachariah Branch in Atlanta. Like they're stepping into essentially starting roles and they're smaller guys. Branch, when he gets the ball, he's electric. You know, like there's just a lot to like about him there. And so hopefully that's the second receiver. And Williams, I mean that receiving course, potentially terrible. It's just like who's been an afterthought in the NFL. Let's put them on Washington, you know, trailing Burks and Van Jefferson and all these guys that just, you know, have never really done much with some opportunities beforehand. Like those two guys can be very impactful right away.
A
Absolutely. That is Caleb Douglas going to the, to the Dolphins. And I mentioned it at the time, it was regarded by Mike Renner, who was doing all our draft grades as the. One of the biggest reaches of the draft so far, 75th overall. But it doesn't matter. You're 100, right? We don't know. Oh, I think there was a good report about Chris Bell. Right. I don't know if it was his doctor or whatever, but someone said he'll be ready for, for week one. Chris Bell, the other Dolphins receiver, now out of Louisville, torn acl.
B
And I'm much more excited about Bell for dynasty purposes than Douglas.
C
Same. Same. But again, this year, like Bell, who knows, may not play. This is clearly a team that is focused on 20, 27 and beyond, you know, so they, they may and they should take their time with him and not rush him back on the field.
A
Be so interested to see where these rookies go, where Tate, Tyson and Lemon go. Concepcion, did he crack your top 48?
C
Yes.
B
Yeah, I don't have a whole lot of separation between him and Boston. I, I think both of those guys are, are going to be worthy of draft picks at the end of the draft.
A
Okay.
C
And Cooper. Yep.
A
How about Jerry? You gonna draft Jerry Judy?
B
Was that. Are you trying to make up for the, for the Knicks Hawks thing now?
A
No, I was. I like Jerry Judy too. No, but he is going to be a starting wide receiver in all likelihood.
C
You know this. I, I think I mentioned this either Thursday or Friday night. Like, I'd like to see Calvin really traded. I'd like to see Jerry Judy traded. I'd like to see James Connor traded. I'd like to see Alvin Kamara traded. Like, let's give these guys opportunities to maybe get to still one year moment. Couple games. Like, I don't know, it just feels like they're just going to be buried in their current, current situations, current scenarios.
A
Well, I think you got to start thinking about. Let me just pull up the tight ends that were drafted here and see if Cleveland drafted one. Actually don't think they, they drafted. Yeah, they drafted Joe Royer in the fifth round and they drafted a guy in the seventh round. So my point would be this. If, if Jerry Judy is going to be a starting wide receiver, I don't see why I draft Denzel Boston. I just don't think because teams are going to start using tight ends more and maybe Todd Monk and we could project that he's going to do that a lot. I don't really see a reason to think about Denzel Boston right there. You've got to figure Concepcion is going to play ahead of Boston. So the number three receiver, he's not a slot guy. I don't think Denzel Boston, maybe Concepcion could be and they play boss on the outside, but you know what I'm saying, like that's a, that's a stretch. That's. That's a waiver wire pickup to me. You got to see something.
B
Well, I think, I think it's going to really like who's on the field in those two wide receiver sets. Yeah, Conception will be some of the time, but I'm not sure that he will be all. I think that's, that's one of the reasons that I kind of have those guys mixed. Yeah. If you're telling me that Casey Concepcion is going to be on the, on the field for 80 of targets, then he's probably ranked too low at around 48, but I just don't think that's a guarantee yet.
A
Okay, all right, Kenyan Sadiq and Fernando Mendoza. I will ask you about those guys when we come back after this quick break. And also, what about. What about Sugar Sanders, assuming he's going to be the starter, which we shouldn't necessarily assume. What about Tyler Shuck? An infusion of talent for Tyler Schuck. What about other players that could be on the rise or sinking in our rankings? We'll be right back on Fantasy football today.

A
Heath Given the fact that Kirk Cousins could easily start the season, I assume we don't have Fernando Mendoza ranked very high in our rookie rank in our 2026 rankings.
B
I don't think you're going to draft Fernando Mendoza unless you're playing in a super flex league. And if you draft him in a super flex league, he's probably going to be your QB. 3.
A
What do you think about Mendoza versus Cam Ward and Dynasty?
B
I prefer Mendoza, but not. Not by a lot. I think he came in at QB15 in my dynasty rankings. I've got Cam ward at like QB 1817, so they're only separated by a couple of spots. The thing that you like about Mendoza, I mean he's a couple years younger and Cam Ward could be one bad year away from getting replaced.
A
That's exactly what I was thinking it makes like nervous.
B
Ward might have more upside than Mendoza, especially now that he's got Carnell Tate. But I think the security of Mendoza, he's going to be a starting quarterback and he's not necessarily going to be a starting quarterback longer than Cam Ward, but he has a much longer leash at this point.
A
I was thinking the same thing because I have Ward in a dynasty league and I have the second overall pick and I'm not going to take Mendoza unless I can trade Ward. But I, I just, I am nervous about it because if you, if they both, let's say they both struggle this year, well, you're not going to get rid of Mendoza. I don't know. Maybe if he's terrible. You know, I think we saw that the Cardinals did that, right? They had Josh Rosen and one year later they took Kyler Murray. I think it can happen. But if Ward has two bad years because was he bad last year? Statistically, yes. Watch the tape. I don't know. A lot of drops, a lot of really encouraging moments, but he had the six lowest yards per attempt of any rookie since 2010.
C
And the guy, December was good, though.
A
It was good. You know, he stopped throwing interceptions. I was encouraged. But statistically he had a really bad year.
C
And it's not, I think just in the Arizona comparison, that was a quarterback that was selected 10th overall in Rosen and then they had the next year, the first overall pick. So.
A
Right. But. But if the Titans are terrible again and Arch Manning or another highly touted guy is available, then he's gone and then Ward's gonna get replaced. Right. So. All right, anywho, topic for Heath show? I guess Kenyan Sadiq. Jamie, where do you end up in your rankings? Jets tight end.
C
Kenyan Sadiq, tight end, 16. I basically all I did was bye bye Mason Taylor. This is now Sadiq spot. So it's, it's obviously not the most ideal landing spot. In my mind, there is opportunities here. I think we're going to see Frank Reich, the offense coordinator now for the jets, use a lot of two tight end sets. But the fact that they have Garrett Wilson, that they drafted Cooper, that they have Mason Taylor, that they drafted Sadiq, like there's not a clear path to a lot of targets. He's a very interesting playmaker, has a chance to be elite as a playmaker. You know, we saw certainly a lot of flashes of, of huge upside and potential. Oregon, as we talked about time and time again, the stats weren't there. I don't know if that's necessarily his fault. But you know, we're talking about a Geno Smith led offense that has four guys or at least three guys. I'll put Mason Taylor maybe a distant fourth at this point, but three guys that are, you know, of high end pedigree. The only thing that makes me a little bit leery of this is this is still the same regime that drafted Mason Taylor a year ago, you know, so it's not like oh yeah, Taylor was somebody that we inherited. Like they targeted Taylor and then they came out and they targeted Sadiq. So I'm gonna guess the Taylor's gonna have a little bit of a role. Plus this is also the team that you know, I know throw in but hey, can we get out And I Mitchell as well, you know, so there, there's some playmakers on this team and I just don't know if Sadiq's gonna get the amount of targets that we need for him to be anywhere in the level of, of Colston, Loveland, Tyler Warren, you know, Harold Fannin, the, the rookie tight ends from a year ago that were extremely successful. I think he, even with the draft capital has a long way to go.
B
Yeah, I think he's gonna be like 21 for me. I, I'm concerned that he's playing about half the snaps and that when he's on the field he's third at best in terms of target, the target tree and so that's a difficult combination.
C
You mentioned. I think one of you guys did Friday night or Thursday night. Dalton Kincaid, like this feels very much like Dalton King.
A
I forgot to ask you about Omar Cooper Jr. I think specifically so I'm going to look at some wide receivers that were drafted in our post free agency mock draft kind of late and tell me if you take Omar Cooper Jr. And anyone else. Boston, Concepcion, stribling, whatever it is ahead of Jaden Reed.
C
I'd rather have read.
B
I'll take one of the rookies. Three of the rookies.
C
The rookies are Cooper.
A
I'm sorry, no, not the top three rookies. I guess anyone other than Tate Lemon,
C
Tyson Concepcion, Reed, everybody else.
A
Okay, how about Khalil, Shakira,
C
Concepcion and Cooper over secure.
B
I'll take Shakira with those guys.
A
Last one, Quentin Johnston.
B
I've got gents Johnston one spot ahead of Shakir Concepcion.
C
Johnston rest of class.
A
Okay, so how about rankings risers and fallers? I don't know if there are many. This was not the most impactful fantasy draft, at least on its on, on the surface. Hopefully we're, we'll have Some pleasant surprises. But Heath, were there any players that moved up or down in your rankings?
B
Tyler Shuck moved up. Fantastic situation for him. I think he's a top 15 quarterback for me now. Wow.
A
Okay, Tyler Shuck, who's in that range?
B
Baker Mayfield, Bo Nicks, Jordan Love, Malik Willis.
A
Man. Okay. He had a. He had a nice rookie year for sure. Shook. Let's see here. This was his last six games. 21.4, 21.3, 20.1, 19.1, 25.9, 23.8. That's incredible. That's a great finish. That's six point per pass in touchdown leagues, by the way. He had three rushing touchdowns in that stretch, but really good stuff.
B
That offense could just be flat out great.
A
Yeah.
C
Like Travis playmakers.
A
Yeah.
C
Well, you better run game though. That's the one thing that could be a little bit of a hindrance is you know they're going to run the ball better this year than they did last year. But I mean look, everything that they've done, they added a pass catching running back. I know Kellen Moore doesn't wrestle feature that in his offense as much, but I mean, look, if Olave stays healthy and builds off what he did and then you add Jordan Tyson, you add a tight end, you add some offensive line pieces. You know, like this is. This is a lot to like Oscar at an Oscar.
A
Dope.
C
That's right. Yeah.
A
Wait, did I already make a joke about that horrible Sylvester Stallone movie you
C
did to me on the phone when I asked you? We were talking about the Saints and I couldn't remember his name. Remember?
A
Oh, what a horrible movie. Geez. He doesn't. He doesn't beat up anyone in that. He might actually. I don't remember, but it's not. I finished what's Eating Gilbert Grape, by the way. It's very good. Okay. Tyler shucks the riser for Heath. Jamie, anyone for you?
C
Veteran riser. Trying to think anybody that like made a big leap. Cam Ward moved up. Tyler Stock moved up. Pollard a couple of spots.
A
I made the case for Scatter Boo on on Thursday, but go ahead. Yeah. Heath, I was.
B
I was gonna say Tootin.
C
Tootin moved up. Yep.
A
The.
B
The Colts wide receivers moved up. Yeah.
A
Okay.
C
Just.
A
You were. You were expecting some target competition that didn't come.
B
Yeah.
A
What about. Did anyone like. We've got Geno Smith and Shadur Sanders who have. It's the Tyler Shuck kind of situation. They just haven't played well. But any thoughts on those guys?
C
I think Shador has to Win the job first. But the position is so loaded. Like, just think about the names that he, he throttled off that are quarterbacks. I don't know where, where the starting point was.
B
13 through 17.
C
Yeah, but you know, like you, I mean, for me in, in the teens, which starts after 12, but in the teens, you know, you have Baker and golf and Nicks and you know, for me right now at least Mahomes is 14. You know, like there's just a lot of great quarterbacks. It's, it's hard to say, like, who in their right mind would go into it in a one quarterback league thinking I need to draft Geno Smith or
A
shoulder Sanders and I'm going to throw out one more name as a potential riser who inspired by an email from Richard. Thank you, Richard. Our email address, by the way, is fantasy footballbsi.com if you have any thoughts on the draft class, fire away. But Richard was talking about the Raiders wide receivers and he wants to criticize them for not addressing their wide receiver room. And he's right. I mean, they have pretty bad wide receiver room. But I did think about Jalen Naylor here, who is done very little. He's 27 years old. He had 444 yards last year, which was career high. But fun fact, he ranks. Since entering the NFL in 2022, Jalen Naylor ranks 16th in yards per target and eighth in yards per catch among 129 wide receivers with 100 or more targets. That's eighth in yards per catch. And a lot of the yards per catch leaders are high adot guys, the Justin Watsons and Darius Slayton's and Alec Pierces of the world. And, and that's not Jalen Naylor. So I think he's, I remember you mentioning that when, that, that he was kind of like that stats guy just on a very small sample size.
B
But I mean it's, it's, it is a little bit easier to be an efficient wide receiver when you have Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison on the field as opposed to when you' running routes next to Trey Tucker. I, I still prefer Tucker to Naylor for now.
A
All right.
B
But he was a riser.
C
I, I do, I do think when you look at the Dolphins receiving core, the Raiders receiving core, even though the Browns spent capital on their two rookies, that receiving core, to a lesser extent, like someone is going to emerge from those teams as fantasy viable. Whether fantasy starter is a different question. But like we had moments, especially early in the season, pick up Trey Tucker. Star Trey Tucker like that was, that was a thing, you know, last year it was Jamari DK as, you know, some, some good moments like, you know, you see this happen and so can, can they, can they find someone, can somebody step forward? And I, I think when you look at it like, you know, you put Jack Besh in that conversation too. For the Raiders, like Naylor, Tucker, Bash, like they're going to get chances, but
B
there's still so many veteran.
A
Yes.
B
Wide receivers that are free agents that are better than the number one wide receiver on the Dolphins and the Raiders. Those guys are probably gonna, I, I don't know if either one of those teams want to add them, though you
C
could see, I mean, you know, based on at least the, the narrative when he was cut. But like Tyree Kill is probably waiting for a contender to give him an opportunity and obviously contract is going to matter there. The Juwan Jennings one is weird to me because like Stefan Diggs is, you know, got, got baggage, you know, and, and is older like the Jennings one. I don't understand. Like I, I would have expected him to have signed in the starter. Free agency or at least you know, the early part or the free agency period, you know, just based on what the conversations were surrounding him. The one that's interesting right now is, is obviously Brandon Iuk still too. You know, so does he end up in a situation where like, you know, you mentioned the Colts, like the Colts took a big swing at the trade deadline last year with, you know, acquiring Sauce Gardner giving up two first round picks. Like, is that a Tyree Kill spot? Is that a Joanne Jennings spot? Is that a Stevon Dig spot? You know, like we're, we're looking at Pittsburgh, for example, and that's, you know, kind of been a destination for Brandon Ayuk for over a year. You know, are they still interested in trying to acquire him? Washington, you know, you heard me say Antonio Williams, like that gets crushed quickly, you know, so this is one of those things that, and Keith, I'm curious how you, you know, navigate this like with these rookie only drafts and telling people what to do with these wide receivers. Like one or two of these guys could get crushed in a month by a vet, at least for 20, 26, you know, could get crushed in a month. You know, like Bernard, for example, if they trade for Ayuk, and now you're looking at Pittman locked in, Metcalf locked in, and whatever they do with Ayuk's contract, like those three guys could be in Pittsburgh for a while. And Bernard just Doesn't matter. And he could be a late first round pick and rookie only drives.
B
I. I think the problem is that because they could get crushed. The. The value could change. The thing is running back already got crushed. So you're gonna. I think you mostly just draft those wide receivers based on how you had them evaluated beforehand and the draft capital. But there's a couple of guys like Antonio Williams is one that I've. I've boosted up a little bit because of the landing spot.
A
Iukas. People must just not think he's healthy because he went about his knee injury rehab in a very strange way, I guess. And he's a contract. He's 28 years old. I think I feel like the contract thing, we've seen teams be like, oh, we're going to pay off some of the contract. Right. That's an obstacle that I feel like can be. Get gotten around. But he's 28 years old with 2, 000 yard seasons under his belt. A 1300 yard season. This is a guy in Brandon Iuk that a lot of people feel like is an elite wide receiver that never really got to prove it because he didn't get a ton of targets. But Debo Sammy was doing all this cute little gimmicky stuff and Brandon Ayuk was running the really, you know, the good. The real routes downfield. Like he's.
C
He's awesome at the good routes.
A
Yeah, well, the non gimmicky stuff and he's. He's potentially a fantastic player when he's healthy. I just don't know how healthy he is but boy is boy is that interesting. The. You're right, Heath. I was gonna say that the. The. You. It's been one of those.
B
Adam, you were right.
A
But I didn't even get a chance to say it because you keep saying the things that I'm going to say.
B
So you would like credit for thinking the thing that I said?
A
Yes, I was gonna say about such a nice guy that I let you say it first. Yeah.
B
I would think if I was thinking something and you said it, I would just say, Adam, you were right.
C
All right. So we. We just got screwed by the draft. Where. Where does. Where do those four guys, Tyreek, Diggs, Jennings and Iuk go that helps them, helps their team and doesn't ruin somebody else.
A
Yeah, that's Juan. Anyone to the Dolphins.
B
Two of them to the Dolphins. Two of them to the Raiders.
A
No, one of them to the Dolphins.
C
But we know Tyreek's not going to the Dolphins.
A
Yeah. Jennings to the Dolphins.
C
And this is assuming. This is. This is obviously assuming that AJ Brown goes to the Patriots. Yeah.
A
Jennings to the Dolphins. Where do we want Tyreek to go? We think we're gonna give him to his contender and Diggs too. The digs and they're going to contenders.
C
I can see Tyreek to the Colts.
A
Could we see a Stefan Diggs Houston Texans reunion? That wouldn't bother me at all. I don't think he would really take away from Nico.
C
A wild card you take away from Higgins. The thing that kind of scares me a little bit, but I could see happening is one of those guys, not tyreek because of McDaniel, but going to the Chargers. I mean, they made the, you know, play for Keenan Allen late in the process last year.
A
Yeah, it's a good call. Keenan Allen, by the way, didn't even mention him.
C
Well,
A
all right. Let's talk about some losers or fallers, if there are any. I wanted to share this tweet. How do you feel about Garrett Wilson's fantasy value after tonight? This was on Thursday. Jets selected Kenyan Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr. 47% said unchanged, 25 a little worse, 19 better and 10% said a lot worse. So most people, about half people thought unchanged and then 25 thought a little worse for Garrett Wilson. Heath, how do you feel about Garrett Wilson? Were there any other players that you thought this isn't great for their fantasy value?
B
Garrett Wilson was a small follower for me. Chris Olave was a small follower for me. I think Harold Fannon was a bigger follower than both of those guys.
A
Okay. Is that your biggest faller?
B
I mean, the biggest faller is probably Tyler Algier.
A
All right, well, other than that, it was fan and fan in a significant follower for you. Where is he now?
B
Well, he is because I. And we've talked about this a lot already this year, but I'm. I'm higher on Pitts and Laporta and likely than most. And I don't. I can't make the argument for fan and over those guys right now. So he's tied in nine.
A
I can make the argument over Pitts very easily. It's the same thing. He has not done well at all. When Drake London was on the field, everything he did was with Drake London off the field. It's just.
C
It's really that simple. Die without Kevin Stefanski.
A
Yeah, but he. And I mean, the Darnell Mooney thing, I know you guys didn't bring that up, but Mooney was doing nothing last year. It's like this Whole career has been disappointing for Kyle Pitts, except his rookie year. But.
C
Well, I mean, to be fair, every time Matt Ryan has been a member of the Falcons, he's had a thousand yard season.
A
So I don't really know how much target competition there is with for the Browns. He's still, you know, he's still going to be their primary tight end. He's not losing snaps to Conception in Boston, so that's good. And then I have a hard time seeing both Concepcion and Boston being good this year.
C
And it's possible to be good though.
A
Neither is, it's possible that neither is
C
good, obviously, but they don't have to be good though. They just have to be better than Jerry Judy and Cedric Tillman.
A
No, that's not the only factor here because the Browns passing game could be better too.
C
Yeah, if you want to put, you know, stock in, in Sanders or a rejuvenated, healthy Sean Watson, I mean, those are two things that for me are hard to necessarily get behind. But I think in terms of Fanon, he's, he's not going to run away with targets like he had the potential to. And so that's, I think the biggest difference is if he falls to second on the team in targets, then he warrants falling down the fantasy rankings. If he falls to potentially third on the team of targets, then he may not be a top 12 titan. I don't think that's the case because I, I love his talent, I love his potential and I think he has the chance to still lead the team in targets, you know, maybe get better in year two. But you're talking about a tight end guru leaving in the coach, you're talking about target competition being added. And so now when you start to compare him to laporta who got a tight end guru as a offense coordinator, to Pitts, who got, you know, arguably the guy that started that tree in Stefanski and, you know, likely getting this opportunity. I, I still have fan ahead of likely, but that's the range, you know, so Fannin fell behind LaPorta craft for me as well and, and Pitts because Kraft, you know, his off season couldn't go any better if he's healthy. You know, losing Romeo Dobbs and losing Don, Tavian Wicks, you know, just getting, you know, more target potential. I think that's great for him. So, you know, all those guys in that mix, you know, I, I think it's kind of easy to say whatever order you have them, there's, there's a clear now top four, you Know where Fannin was was in that conversation probably when the season ended. You know you have McBride, Bowers, Loveland and Warren. I don't know if anybody's going to crack that top four from an ADP standpoint.
A
Ride Bowers, Loveland, Warren. I really like Bowers. I think that's the guy I'm targeting. Or Kelsey. Great or late? Great.
B
Great or late? I did just want to say like last year Jerry Judy led Brown's wide receivers with 602 receiving yards. That was their, their hot. Isaiah Bond was. And it wasn't like there were five guys over 500. Isaiah Bond was second at 338 receiving yards. Like it's a massive difference.
A
Well, but they Also, they were 31st in scoring. They were 31st in gross passing yards per game. So that's, that's the argument is that they just, they get better. Everybody gets pulled up, I guess.
C
Do we have any, do they want to get better though?
A
The thing is, you look at Kyle Pitts, I'm. This is off the top of my head. Why was his second year so disappointing? One of it was the bad quarterback play. The other was they brought in Drake London. Right. I think London, he also got hurt.
B
Yeah, he, he suffered a pretty significant
A
injury, didn't he, in his second year? Yeah, at some point, I can't remember. But they brought in second and third year.
C
He was battling through that knee injury.
A
Okay. I guess I'm just trying to.
C
Yeah, they brought in London, you're right.
A
No, I'm just thinking, I'm thinking they also changed coaches second year tight ends coming.

Like, I mean, listen, I'll, I'll just tell you, you know, I spoke to Arthur Smith going into year three for Kyle Pitts and that was after acquiring Bijan Robinson. So it was Pitts, London Robinson, three years in a row. And I said to him this was after, you know, year two for, for Pitts. Like what was the difference between Kyle Pitts year one, year two and he said having a veteran quarterback and Matt Ryan giving him chances to make plays his rookie season. So does TUA help that? Does a more seasoned Michael Pennix if he's healthy, help that we know Pennix is very high on him last year in terms of pits in the, in the training camp process. So I mean you heard me say I like Zachariah Branch. I, I don't think there's a significant chance that Branch cracks the top two targets spots for the Falcons if everybody's healthy. I think it's clearly London one and Pits too.
A
Okay. I think the last point I'll make if you want to be optimistic about fan and was Trey McBride. Now, Trey McBride broke out in his second year. Then they drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. And Trey McBride had had a great season and continued to do so. So, you know. All right. And that. That'll do it. Thank you all for watching and listening. We'll talk to you on Wednesday. We have a mock draft on Tuesday. We'll talk to you on Wednesday. Heath. FFD Dynasty is tomorrow.
B
Jacob Gibbs. We are kind of. It won't be a contentious debate, but kind of a little bit of a rankings debate with the rookies.
A
Nice. And I like this poll we have here on YouTube. Are you happy with the picks your team made? How many people think you said yes and how many said no? What percentage?
C
27 said yes. Whoa.
A
That was. Yeah. You guys basically said the same number. You are so wrong. 70 said yes. This is tis the season to be optimistic about our football teams.
C
I think the thing about it, like, when you look at the NFL draft in its entirety, forget about fantasy, like, there were some teams that did really well. Really well. Browns did well. Giants did well. Cowboys did well. Trying to think who else, like, well, the Giants.
A
Right, People. Oh, the Giants did well with their pick. Yes. I love who the Giants picked. I also was very happy when they drafted Kayvon. Kayvon Thibodeau and Evan Neal at 4 and 7 overall. 5 and 7 overall. Something like that. So it's. I have. I don't usually be like, oh, this team did well, because just. You just don't know. And the fact that 70% of our respondents are optimistic, a lot of people are going to be very disappointed in a couple of years. By the way, very 49ers fans. I'm sure you voted no. All right, thank you to Jamie and Heath. We'll be back on Wednesday with fantasy football today. See you.

In this post-NFL Draft episode of Fantasy Football Today, host Adam Aizer is joined by Jamie Eisenberg and Heath Cummings. Together they break down how the 2026 NFL Draft impacted player rankings—with emphasis on the rookie class, day three selections, and the biggest risers and fallers among veteran players. The team debates running back handcuffs, rookie wide receiver breakout odds, and the shifting landscape for tight ends. Notable player debates, strategic fantasy football insights, and open banter provide fantasy managers with an up-to-date roadmap for dynasty, redraft, and rookie-only leagues.

Running Backs on Day 3: Lots of RBs were drafted, but few landed in clear, high-impact situations. Most are best viewed as handcuff or long-term stashes rather than instant contributors. Both analysts agree this rookie RB class “just has no projection for year one.” (Heath, 06:10)
General Sentiment: Despite draft capital spent, situation trumps talent for fantasy purposes. “Just so uninspiring… like, I think there was five running backs and ten receivers and one tight end for me. That’s all I got.” (Jamie, 05:59)

Jeremiah Love (Lions)
Jadarian Price (Seahawks)
- Heath: Tate (33), Tyson (34), Lemon (38)
- Jamie: Tate (31), Lemon (32), Tyson (35)
- Both have rookies ranked near or ahead of names like Christian Watson, Alec Pierce, Godwin, Jacoby Myers.
Timestamps: 31:52–35:31
Jamie highlights Antonio Williams (Washington) and Zachariah Branch (Atlanta) as small, electrifying options with immediate paths to the field: “Branch, when he gets the ball, he's electric… Williams, that receiving corps is potentially terrible.” (31:53)
Also notes Caleb Douglas (Dolphins) as a sleeper due to a wide-open WR room with Bell recovering from a torn ACL.
Both Concepcion and Boston are worthy late-draft flyers (“worthy of draft picks at the end of the draft.” – Heath, 33:20).
Timestamps: 37:14–41:32
Fernando Mendoza (Falcons): Superflex leagues only, likely a low-end QB3, but has more security than Cam Ward.
Tyler Shuck (Saints): Big riser, now a top-15 QB in Heath’s rankings due to late-season explosion and improved receiving talent.
