What's up and welcome to Fantasy Football Today presented by BetMGM, the sportsbook born in Vegas, hopefully last year you drafted Brian Thomas Jr. And Bucky Irving and Lad McConkey and Brock Bowers. Those are all late round rookies and they were league winners for you. But guess what? League winners are not just late round picks. You could argue Saquon Barkley was the MVP of Fantasy and he was a first round pick. So who are the players that are going to win you your league this year? Who are some good league winners? I've got two right here lol. Jamie Eisenberg and Heath Cummings. What an intro. Hey Jamie, quick question before before we get into the league winners I mentioned Labor Conkey but did you move him down after The Chargers signed 33 year old Keenan Allen?
Adam Azer
I did Adam just a few spots so he was wide receiver 13 for me. Now he's wide receiver 16. He was an early third round pick. Now he's a mid third round pick. I just put him behind guys like Devonte Adams, Jackson Smith Najigba and Garrett Wilson. You have to be a little bit concerned because of another mouth defeated in an offense that is still going to be predominantly run heavy. McConkey was awesome to close the season last year, averaging over 20 PPR points per game and in his last eight outings. But you also have to factor in that Keenan Allen has a strong history with Justin Herbert. He could be the primary slot receiver, which might be a problem for McConkey. And Greg Roman's track record does not suggest that two wide receivers can finish in the top 20. So I think Keenan Allen is going to be a little bit of a problem for all the receivers there. A slight downgrade for McConkey, an obvious downgrade for Trey Harris, Quinton Johnston and Lambert Smith. And we'll see if Kenan Allen at 33 still has something left to offer.
Heath Cummings
Heath, that was good question. You know, I think I have a better question for you. Let's, let's revisit my Quentin Johnston for your Isaiah likely in Dynasty. What do you think? Let's, let's do this trade.
Jamie Eisenberg
I didn't like that offer when you first made it. Both players have been downgraded now and so I still don't like that offer. I think I can hold Isaiah likely until he flashes again. I will say I didn't move McConkey. I did downgrade his projection. But I had such a big gap from wide receiver 13 to wide receiver 14. I've been fighting with myself all summer not being able to find anybody I want to rank at wide receiver 14. So I still left lad at wide receiver 13. Did bury all the rest of the guys.
Heath Cummings
Listen, guys, fantasy football is about trash talk, right? So I, you know, I haven't done this yet.
Jamie Eisenberg
Just wanted to.
Heath Cummings
Just wanted to show off some of my bling talking about league winners here.
Adam Azer
Look at that.
Heath Cummings
Look at that. This is not. What a way to celebrate anyway.
Adam Azer
I think there's also no. I was gonna say it's a great idea a to put the, put the trophy in front of your microphone so nobody hear you. Yeah, the, the, the, the. The necklace there. Whatever you got Trophy Smack. Unbelievable company that. That gives us these things. I have two of those myself. They do a great job. If you ever want to celebrate your league winners, you can, you can get the, the stuff from Trophy Smack, the products that they offer. Second of all, I highly encourage you to check out Adam Azer on X when he posted the picture of him wearing said belt necklace. Whatever. It looks like he's about to fall over.
Heath Cummings
Is that what I did? I didn't know what was so funny about that picture. We'll bring it up later. I'll set it to the producers. Heath, why don't we get into your league winning quarterbacks here. So you each gave me one early round pick and one guy, he's going 10 or later round 10 or later. About that. Anyway, so you've got Jaden Daniels who averaged 32 and a half fantasy points per game I think in his last eight games, including the playoffs. That's Insane. And you have Justin Fields as well. Take it away sir.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yes, this is my QB1 and he's almost never drafted as the QB1. And as we see ADP start to reflect more home league drafts, more normal people drafting, not just us, we're going to see Josh Allen and the Marge action both move up towards round two and move into round two. But I think you'll still see Jaden Daniels in round three. This is a guy who as a rookie three, 500 yards passing, 800 yard rushing, almost 900 and that doesn't tell the full story yet. I'm on with Adam Azer so let's Azer stat it just a little bit. He had one game in the middle of the year where he played fewer than 10 snaps. In week 18 he left early because the commanders didn't have anything to play for. And so if you just look at those 15 games that he played a full game, it's almost 4,000 yards passing for a guy who could run for 900 yards and produce 35 touchdowns. This is the guy who I think will be the number one quarterback this year and you get him at a discount.
Heath Cummings
What about McLaurin though?
Jamie Eisenberg
Terry McLaurin is currently a small concern. If we get to mid August it becomes a bigger concern. If we get to late August maybe I'll start freaking out a little bit. But I honestly still believe like as with most of these situations, not always but as with most of these situations this will be resolved and he will be a commander.
Heath Cummings
Justin Fields is the other guy you mentioned. Jamie's going to talk about a late round guy. Drake may, but Justin Fields, you don't really. You'll take him in the late rounds. That's where his ADP is going. You don't consider him a late round guy, right?
Jamie Eisenberg
I'd take him in round eight for sure. I'd take him in round seven if I had to. But you don't. Another guy who could run for 800 yards could, could challenge double digit rushing touchdowns. We haven't seen that from his career but you probably get six at least. I know there've been some bad reports and some training camp stats from the last week about Justin Fields as a passer. But if you look at when he's played in actual real NFL games, the interception rate has improved every year of his career. The completion percentage has improved every year of his career. Pass the rating as well. Even his sack rating has gone down each of the last three seasons. He has become a better quarterback. And if he's Even an average NFL passer paired with his former teammate Garrett Wilson. This is a guy whose rushing could make him a top five quarterback.
Heath Cummings
Okay, so before we get to Jamie, I'll give you guys a little trivia here. This is on the topic of Jaden Daniels. Jaden Daniels was number two in the NFL among quarterbacks in fantasy points scored per game based on just yards. Who is number one?
Adam Azer
Lamar Jackson.
Heath Cummings
Lamar Jackson. Now who is number three?
Jamie Eisenberg
No, just yard.
Heath Cummings
Burrow was number was fourth.
Adam Azer
Josh Allen, fifth. Just yards. Justin Fields.
Heath Cummings
No, I didn't. I don't know if he even qualified actually. I guess I could have looked at that, but I don't think it would.
Adam Azer
Have been, oh, yeah, I don't know.
Heath Cummings
Baker Mayfield. It's a little surprising. Baker.
Adam Azer
Oh, yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
Pretty impressive.
Heath Cummings
All right, Jake, let's look at the two guys you gave Joe Burrow. Did you know he was number four among quarterbacks in fantasy points per game on yards alone? And I heard that.
Adam Azer
That's, that's great.
Heath Cummings
Amazing. Go ahead, sir.
Adam Azer
I feel like, you know, Burrow, not that he's being treated as an afterthought. You know, some people call him a sleeper, but in the case of, you know, when you talk about the top three quarterbacks, he doesn't ever get mentioned. And last year he was number two in points per game and is coming off an amazing season. You like to reference the stats all the time about what he does when Jamar Chase and T. Higgins are both healthy. And he's basically a 5,000 yard passer, has the ability to be a 5,000 yard passer. And I think he's the most likely guy to get if we are talking about passing yards leader. So you look at the receiving core, you look at the defense that is once again most likely going to struggle. I think they're going to have to be one of the most prolific offensive teams, which they would be anyway, even with a good defense. But they're going to have to be to win games and be competitive. So Joe Burrow might be one of the best bargains at any position because you're getting him in some cases a round or two later than Lamar Jackson, who is going to hopefully be better based on what we saw last year and was better than Burrow last year. But when you compare him to Josh Allen and now Jaden Daniels, you might be getting the better quarterback at a discounted price. In some cases, he goes after Jalen Hurts as well. So I love the value for Joe Burrow. Anytime he falls into late round four. I Certainly be getting round five. I took him in round six or seven. I believe it was in a best ball draft the other night. That's four points for passing touchdown. So that changes some things a little bit. And if you want, and by the way, this is something that Adam Mazur is going to do. He's going to grade all of your drafts. You can reach out to him at 9 5, 4, 4. No, but Adam will grade all of your drafts. If you have Joe Burrow on your team, he will personally get you a trophy, smack trophy belt and give it to you because he loves Joe Burrow that much.
Jamie Eisenberg
I, I don't think I've said this this year yet, but Joe Burrow is actually number two in my quarterback projections in terms of fantasy points. So I agree with Jamie completely on this. I rank Omar Jackson and Josh Allen higher because I think the odds of them having a 30 fantasy point per game season are considerably higher than Joe Burrow. But if you're asking me who's going to score 26 this year, I think I dig Burrow.
Heath Cummings
That's sort of what I meant when I was joking, somewhat jokingly calling him a sleeper. So the last two of the last three.
Adam Azer
Oh, that was you?
Heath Cummings
Yeah. With Jamar Chase and just and T. Higgins healthy, we're talking 29.1 points per game and 28.2 points per game and 6 point per passing touchdown leagues. All right, let's get to your next guy. It's Drake maybe obviously a harder sell.
Adam Azer
You know, and a little bit different than Fields. I would also take Fields as a more of a league winner over Drake May but the concept is is somewhat the same. The theory is somewhat the same is that he's going to do a lot of things with his legs. At least that's the expectation. And so last year you take the 10 healthy games, we're going to azer stat. This one, you take the 10 healthy games, he was on pace for 630 rushing yards, 10 out the games that he played which would have been third among quarterbacks behind Lamar Jackson and Jay Daniels. Now I don't think he's going to be a 600 yard rusher. I'm hoping for 500 plus plus. What we did see with Josh McDaniels, the offense coordinator for the Patriots, he had Cam Newton who's a much different running quarterback than obviously Drake may but he had a lot of run concept designs, a lot of first option runs, not just running while scrambling. But while that's a big part of his game, I Think the additions in the receiving core are huge. So you bring in Stefan Diggs, you bring in Kyle Williams, you bring in Trevion Henderson and then you obviously add Josh McDaniel. So the system should be better, the weapons should be better. A guy that's going to take a leap in year two, I don't think he has the ceiling to be a top five guy, but top eight is certainly on the table if things go right again. It's a big ask, but the value is amazing. If you don't like Drake May as your only quarterback, you can pair him with a number of guys. Justin Herbert, Brock Purdy, Jared Goff, whatever the range of quarterbacks you're looking at. Easy to take a second quarterback with Drake May. We did a draft last night, Adam and I did to benefit St. Jude and I took Drake May in round 13, I believe or no, I'm sorry, round 11 as my only quarterback and we noted a lot of guys that were available on waivers. So you have to know your league and if Everybody's gonna take two quarterbacks. But as a one quarterback option I think there's top 10 potential and again maybe a little bit higher.
Jamie Eisenberg
I think I'm the low guy on Drake May definitely at cbs. I'm not sure about the industry because I've been more skeptical of the receiving core, but some of those questions are getting answered for me in training camp. I'm gonna move him up to QB19, which will still keep me as the low guy on Drake May. The the thing that I am worried about is repeating the rushing production from last year. He's a good running quarterback but he averaged an absolutely insane. I believe it was 7.8 yards per rush attempt which quarterbacks just do not repeat. And I think with Josh McDaniels offense, while he does have that Cam Newton experience which he'd probably like to have those couple years back of his life. Most of the time that Josh McDaniels has been calling plays, it's get the ball out quick, make the right read. If it's not there, throw it to the running back and I that's what it sounds like they're coaching Drake May to do. I wouldn't be surprised if we see both fewer rush attempts for May and a lower average.
Heath Cummings
Okay, well before you look at this picture or while you look at it, just I want everyone. I swear I have more than one T shirt but we're going to take a break with this. There he is. It is probably my favorite shirt. I just, I don't know it pops. But we'll we'll get some running back league winners when we come back on Fantasy football today.

Let me tell you if there's a sure fire way to wake up feeling fresh after drinks with friends, it is with Pre Alcohol zbiotics. Pre Alcohol Probiotic drink is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic. It was invented by PhD scientists to tackle rough mornings after drinking. Here's how it works. When you drink, alcohol gets converted into toxic byproduct in the gut. It's a buildup of this byproduct, not dehydration, that's to blame for those rough days after drinking. Pre alcohol produces an enzyme to break this byproduct down. Just remember to make pre alcohol your first drink of the night. Drink responsibly and you'll feel your best tomorrow. I first gave Zebiotics a try at my brother's wedding last weekend. I had a big night ahead. Dinner, dancing, drinks and a best man speech. So a little extra on the drinking front, but I did have a Zbiotics before it all started. Honestly, I was a little bit skeptical. But the next morning we were up and out the door for an 8:30 tea time, me and my brother.
Jamie Eisenberg
No problem.
Unknown Speaker
It was crazy. I felt sharp and ready for the day. Now it's something I reach for whenever I know the night might be going long. It's bioengineered to help you feel your best the next day. Have a pre Alcohol before your next big night. You'll be glad you did. Summer is here, which means more opportunity to celebrate the warm weather before that backyard barbecue, brew glass of Pino, watching the sunset at the beach or cocktail by the campfire. Don't forget your Zbiotics Pre Alcohol Drink one before drinking and wake up feeling great and ready to take on the next day and all that summer has to offer. League winning running backs from 2024 Saquon Barkley, Jameer Gibbs, Bucky Irving, Chase Brown. There are others. Let's talk about 2025 though. Who are going to be those guys that send you to a fantasy championship? Heath and Jamie have some names. Here is Heath's list of league winning running backs. Devon Achan, he's going at the 23 turn right now. Kyron Williams, I'm sorry at the 12 turn. Kyron Williams probably going at about the 23 turn. DeAndre Swift round 56 maybe and Travion Henderson not long after. DeAndre Swift heath take us through your list.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, a couple of these probably seem pretty obvious. I don't know how HN falls to round two in any drafts. He was over 20 fantasy points per game as a rookie in nine full games last year, almost 23 fantasy points per game. When Tuatanga Valeo healthy he was is the my favorite to lead running backs in targets, receptions and receiving yards this year. He was outstanding in that regard last year. Now John Oo Smith's gone. Now they're talking about how he's even improved more in the passing game. This is one of the few running backs that if their team gets worse he may actually get better for fantasy football purposes. Kyron Williams over 21 touches each of the past two seasons. I don't think Jarquez Hunter changes that. They just gave him a new deal. Obviously they like him. Expect double digit touchdowns. He should be an easy round two click. DeAndre Swift I've talked about all summer the lead back in a Ben Johnson offense was RB15 per game the last time he was paired up with Ben Johnson. Much improved offensive line and kind of a struggling pass game right now. So they may they run it a little more than they planned on. And then Travion Henderson was my second favorite running back in this draft class before the NFL draft. The guy in front of him maybe beside him now, Ramondre Stevenson has both a pass protection problem and a fumbling problem. Treveon Henderson doesn't do either one of those things. What he does do is he makes everybody who goes to Patriots training camp say wow, their offense looks different when the ball's in travy on Henderson's hands.
Heath Cummings
Yeah, Travion Henderson, super exciting player. Let me just focus on DeAndre Swift for a second here. Jamie, you said on our running backs preview show that you thought he might be top five at the position in receptions. I challenged you on that. But I want to give you a stat that surprised me a little bit. He had the fourth most routes run among running backs last year. Part of that is staying healthy but also it's just it's a really impressive number. He didn't have a high enough target per route run rate but that should give people hope I mean, he was running a ton of routes last year and no reason to think it won't be the same situation. The guys ahead of him were Devon Hn, Bijon Robinson and Breece Hall. And then number four was DeAndre Swift. Number five was Kyren Williams. Kyron Williams, another guy on Heath listed, I think, has a potential for a lot more catches. He's on the field all the time, just needs some more targets. But Jamie, I think it's easy to make the case for A Chan and Kyron and I would say even Henderson because he's so exciting. It does. Do you think DeAndre Swift has that type of upside, that league winning upside?
Adam Azer
Absolutely. You know, especially at his cost. You know, and I think that's a big part of this, is that you're getting. I don't know if he's going to be a top five running back, but I think top 10 is within the realm of possibilities because look, we are trying to attach a lot of the Detroit offense to the Chicago offense because of Ben Johnson, and right now we're seeing the path of maybe Swift becoming Jameer Gibbs. We don't necessarily have an easy target for who's going to be the David Montgomery. So Swift does find a way to get more touchdowns. We know he struggled at the goal line and that's sort of been a knock against him his entire career. If he could find a way to maybe get 10 plus rushing touchdowns or at least somewhere to 10 to 12 total touchdowns, I think there's 1500 total yards on his resume and north of probably 60 or maybe even 70 catches. If this offense works in his favor, which right now it seems like the MO is Caleb Williams. Get the ball out of your hands behind a better offensive line with a better system. So the guys behind him right now stink. The opportunity is fantastic. He's been very, I think, sort of underrated in terms of his performances. As you've noted time and time again, he's always been a top 24 running back, sort of hovering around that 24 number. But as he, as Heath alluded to last time, he's with Ben Johnson could be the number 15 running back and again, a few things break his way, maybe cracks the top 10. So absolutely league winning upside. And a lot of people just want to pass over him, understandably so. But I think Heath is targeting very aggressively. I'm going to target him not as aggressively, but I like to get a lot of shares of DeAndre Swift. I think he's going to be one of the better fantasy assets that you got, especially as a number two running back.
Heath Cummings
Do you guys prefer Swift or Henderson? Heath and Jamie?
Jamie Eisenberg
Swift.
Adam Azer
Swift for now.
Heath Cummings
Okay. All right, let's take a look at Jamie's list of potential league winners at the running back position. Christian McCaffrey, a round one pick. Chase Brown, 27th overall, an average draft position on fantasy Pros and full PPR. Omarion Hampton, we might see this ADP rise. He's currently around 4 pick and RJ Harvey is a round pick 6 pick. So you got McCaffrey, Brown, Hampton and.
Adam Azer
Harvey don't need to spend a lot of time on McCaffrey. Clearly the, the, the situation is if he's healthy, he's going to be in the mix for the top three. Maybe not just at running back, but overall. Last time we saw him over 23 PPR points per game. We know what he can be in the San Francisco offense. Last year was a disaster with the four missed games. So if he stays healthy, he's going to be one of the better values that you get in the back end of round one, depending on where his average draft position settles. You mentioned it. Chase Brown, 27th overall in the fantasy pros. ADP. I like him as almost a mid round two pick. So once you get past Josh Jacobs, I think he's in that conversation with Jonathan Taylor and Bucky Irving and Kyron Williams. There's just so much to love about the way that Chase Brown finished last year and you've already heard coaches on the Bengal staff saying that he's going to be a household name. So yes, they have Samajp Ryan to maybe steal some passing down work and maybe Taj Brooks will be an option that they used to supplement some of Chase Brown's workload last year, which was impressive down the stretch. Down the stretch once Zach Moss got injured. Well, Moss is already off the team. I think Chase Brown's going to be the guy. And as we talk about a lot, this Bengals offense could be the best in the NFL. So I want to get pieces of that offense and I will take Chase Brown certainly back into round two if he's there at 27th overall, that's an easy selection. Omarion Hampton's got this weird situation going on with his teammate with Najee Harris. We do not know when Harris is going to return. Still dealing with this eye injury that he suffered on the 4th of July, walking around the practice field, not even running yet. So you. It's going to seemingly take some time for Najee Harris to get back on the field and get in football shape and that's just making things great for Hampton, who's going to be on an offense I think going to be heavy running the ball. We saw last year J.K. dobbins was fantastic when he was featured for the Chargers and I think Hampton has a prospect right now better than what Dobbins was last year. So immense upside for him. Passing down work will be a problem, just reception totals will be a problem. But if he can get somewhere above 30 receptions, I think that'll be great for him. Then RJ Harvey's probably going to take a J.K. dobbins injury to happen. Oh, by the way, that happens almost all the time. Unfortunately for for Dobbins, but last year missed four games. We know he's had a hard time staying on the field. I think Harvey playing for Sean Payton, even with Dobbins on the field, he'll still be productive. But if there ever were a situation where he's the only running back there, or at least the featured running back, potential workhorse, he could be one of the better past catching running backs. Remember, Javante went to 50 catches last year for this Broncos offense and Harvey could be more explosive based on what we saw from Williams last year. So there's a lot of upside for RJ Harvey behind almost everybody we've mentioned. You know, the four guys that Heath said Harvey should go behind those guys as well, behind Trayvon Henderson, behind Omari Hampton as rookie running backs. But again, the upside is just immense. And I think, Adam, you would probably agree with this if they never signed JK Dobbins. We may have been talking about RJ Harvey as a third round pick right now based on all the expectations for him following the NFL draft.
Heath Cummings
Yeah, some people might have taken him seventh overall in a dynasty. In a dynasty rookie.
Adam Azer
That's not bad though. Stop bringing that up.
Heath Cummings
It was just disappointing. Heath, what is your hesitation with Omari and Hampton? You don't seem to be staying at the Hampton Inn like Dave and Jamie are.
Jamie Eisenberg
I. I think Jamie hit on it and it's just the history of Greg Roman's offenses are generally low pass volume and low target percentage for the running backs. The fact that they just added Keenan Allen already had lad McConkey. They're going to throw a little bit to the tight ends, probably more than they should based on who the tight ends currently are. I just don't know that he gets to the 30 receptions and then I haven't gotten to the point yet where I've just ruled out Naji Harris having a role early in the season, maybe all season, as the type of running back who's very good in pass protection and doesn't fumble. The opposite of Ramandre Stevenson. The longer we go though, without Harris really doing anything football related, the more I'll move Hampton up and Harris down. I just don't want to go too far too early and then have to switch it up again.
Heath Cummings
Man, Greg Roman. I think it's 11 seasons as a coordinator. Surprisingly, only one running back has finished higher than 10th per game. It was LaShawn McCoy. No, I'm sorry, it was Ingram was 10th per game. In 2019 with Baltimore, you had Ingram at 10, you had McCoy at 12th per game. In full PPR, you had McCoy at 4th per game. And those are the only three that I see that finished higher than 17th per game, which is really amazing because, you know, back in the day it was like Frank Gore, 17 catches, 28 catches, 16 catches, 11 catches in full seasons. I think we expect more than that from Hampton. Hampton, good passive catching profile coming into the NFL. However, it's a good point you make. I mean, there's not that history is not very encouraging for Greg Roman.
Adam Azer
It's also though, to be fair, a lot of Roman's history has been with running quarterbacks. And Justin Herbert is not necessarily a running quarterback.
Heath Cummings
Absolutely. And J.K. dobbins had 32 catches and 13 games last year on pace for 42 catches. He was RB18 per game last year for the Chargers. All right, so those are some running backs that could be league winners for you. You can get in different spots in your drafts. We'll talk about wide receivers when we come back. Travis Hunter is a fascinating player. First of all, if you can get IDP points, you might be or the second round pick. But even if you can't, Travis Hunter might be one of those league winning wide receivers. Who else makes the cut? We'll tell you after this.
Jamie Eisenberg
You all know I've been running an Airbnb for a while now, and it's been a great way to make use of my extra space and especially when I'm traveling. And I've got some great trips coming up. First, I'm heading to Pinehurst, North Carolina for an annual golf trip with the crew. Always a blast. Then I'm swinging down to my old stomping grounds in Gainesville, Florida to catch a Gators game and slide into my favorite Mexican spot, La Tienda, for some steak tacos. What I love is that with the Airbnb co host network, I don't have to think twice about what's happening back home. I found a local pro who handles everything, creating the listing, managing bookings, messaging guests, even being there in person if anything comes up. I get to enjoy the trip, be in the moment and know everything's running smoothly. So whether you already host like I do or you've got a space just sitting empty while you're away, this is a total game changer. Find a co host@airbnb.com host.
Heath Cummings
Let's talk about league winning wide receivers. You don't want the boring guys, the ones that will get you 12 PPR points per game. The Khalil Shakirzi might want them late enough in your draft, but right now we want guys that are going to smash their adp, win you your league. Who are those special someones at the wide receiver position? Here are four names from Heath and four names from Jamie Heath has Drake London, Jerry Judy, Travis Hunter and Teteroa McMillan. And three of these guys, Judy Hunter and McMillan, going in the same range in drafts. London a solid second round pick. Heath, tell us about your list.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, I think when we talk about like the top seven or eight wide receivers, you pretty much always hear the same name. Drake London's name is usually not a part of that, which means it's not early second round. Sometimes it's mid second round when his name goes off the board. He had 293 yards receiving in his last two games with Michael Penix last year. If Michael Pennix is a good NFL quarterback and Darnell Mooney is not 100 healthy, Drake London has a chance to be a top five wide receiver or better in the NFL. He needs somebody that can give him the ball down the field and then also somebody who can get him the ball in the end zone. But I certainly think that's a possibility. Jerry Judy was a top five wide receiver with Jameis Winston last year. Now he basically has the other version of Jameis Winston, Joe Flacco, who looks like he's going to be a starting quarterback. Joe Flacco's thrown for 4, 700 yards and 32 touchdowns in his last 17 NFL starts. Don't yell at me. I know he's not a good winning NFL quarterback, but he's a great fantasy quarterback, at least for his wide receivers. Travis Hunter and Tedro McMillan, the best two wide receivers in this rookie class. I know it wasn't a great wide receiver class and certainly maybe not a deep wide receiver class, but I think these two guys could be really special right away. Hunter has the target competition in Brian Thomas, but we're talking about probably the best player in college football last year, maybe the best football player on the Jacksonville Jaguars right now, and maybe somebody we're talking about as one of the best players in the NFL in the future. Every single day, no matter what position he's playing, he's making spectacular plays. His head coach recently said he'd like to See him play 80% of the snaps on offense. I've got him right now at wide receiver, 24, and that's basically with 75% of the snaps. If he's at 80% and exceeds my touchdown projection, the sky is absolutely the limit. And then McMillan just earning all of the targets in Carolina and apparently catching all of them as well. We've seen Bryce Young focus in on one target and Adam Thielen. Now, that was a low efficiency target. What if he throws the ball 140 times? To a guy like McMillan who can also go down the field and make big plays, he could be a huge surprise as a rookie.
Heath Cummings
So, first of all, before I throw it to Jamie Heath, how do you rank those last three on your list? Is it in order? Judy Hunter, McMillan?
Jamie Eisenberg
It is currently Judy Hunter, McMillan, but I'm like three more Travis Hunter highlights away from just moving him into the top 20.
Heath Cummings
And Jamie, how do you rank those three?
Adam Azer
I have it. McMillan, Jude McMillan, Judy Hunter. Right now, I do think that Hunter is so polarizing, and it's going to be fun to see how this all plays out. You know, I wonder if, you know, he said he's making players all over the field. I wonder just at some point if he's tired in a game or he starts as the season moves on to show that he's maybe better defensively than offensively and they need him more over there. You have to factor that in. You know, just in case he's not able to play 80% of the offensive snaps and 80% of the defensive snaps. And so it's a little bit concerning. You know, you've already heard a lot of current players say it's impossible for him to play both. And you've heard Travis Kelsey say, well, if. If I'm playing against him offensive, I'm just going to run him down the field all the time, just get him tired. And Devonte Adams came out recently and said it's impossible for him to do this. So clearly there's a reason why no one has done it before. So we're going to see how this all plays itself out. So I Would prefer to draft him as more of a high end, number three fantasy receiver as more than as compared to a starter. I feel like in, in case of McMillan, he's just somebody that continues to rise in my rankings and I think after I'm done today, I've already moved him this morning to 26. I believe it is. He's going to move into the top 24. Like there's just so much upside for this kid. And every draft we do it seems like we're behind consensus for where we are at cbs. Everybody else seems to be drafting him as a top 20 guy. Like the upside could be just amazing for him.
Heath Cummings
Okay, Jamie, let's take a look at your list here. You've got Tyreek Hill, Garrett Wilson, Jackson, Smith and Jigba. All three of those guys could, could be drafted in the third round. And Jameson Williams, more like a fifth round pick. So yeah, explain your list and why you have these four.
Adam Azer
Yeah, Tyree Kills sort of low hanging fruit. I mean obviously we saw what he was two years ago in terms of his production each of the first two years with the Dolphins. And then last year everything just fell apart. He had the wrist injury to a missed six games, the offensive scheme change where they were trying to get the ball out quick, which I don't think benefited him in terms of the routes that he runs and how he gets his production. The fact that he came into camp this year more dedicated to the team after everything that he said at the end of the season last year lost some weight. The loss of John New Smith I think will help both receivers in terms of Tyree Kill and Jalen Waddle. So if Tyreek is right, and I know he's getting to that age where he got to be a little bit concerned, you know, now he's 31, I still think there's one more potentially great season for him. So he's talked again about chasing 2,000 yards. I don't think that's realistic. But can he be north of 1500 yards? Can he get back to 10 plus touchdowns? Can he obviously be 100 yard catch, 100 catch guy? I think that's within the realm of possibilities. So I would actually take him in round two. Love getting him in round three. In the case of the other two receivers, JSN and Garrett Wilson, jsn we saw last year, you know, two games without DK Metcalf on the field. He was amazing from that point forward. It was like middle of the year. He finished the season on such a high note. They bring in Cooper Cup. They obviously change coordinators, change quarterback, a lot of things, moving parts there. But by all accounts, JSN's having a great camp and making plays in the slot and on the outside, which I think matters because he's going to move around a little bit more so than he did last year. He was primary the slot receiver. So lots of love about his situation. Heath alluded to this earlier when he's talking about Justin Fields. The Justin Fields, Garrett Wilson relationship will hopefully carry over from college at Ohio State to the NFL. And, and Wilson's obviously had disappointing quarterback play the majority of his career. I don't know if Justin Fields is the exact guy to elevate him to the status that maybe a lot of fantasy managers are expecting him to reach. But if you are looking at him as a potential top 10 guy and he's being drafted just outside that range, there are so many target opportunities for him. And I know Adam, you're going to say, well, he's had so many target opportunities each of the last two seasons, which is clearly the case. But as we saw last year, if Devonte Adams never joined the jets, we would be looking at Garrett Wilson potentially as a top 10 wide receiver without question because the amount of targets that he got, the production that he was starting to show with Rogers right before Adams joined the team, it was starting to look a little bit elite and I think he has a chance to get there. Obviously for the case of Jameson Williams, there's a bigger ask. Can he get more targets? Can he get more receptions? The yards and the touchdowns should be there for him because he's going to make some big plays, he's going to get some probably manufactured touches, whether it's jet screens, jet sweeps or bubble screens, because I think the Detroit offense will still do that even without Ben Johnson there. But all you've heard all offseason, the drumbeat has been pretty consistent. Jameson Williams breakout coming and so does that come at the expense of Alan Ross? St. Brown? Does it come at the expense of Sam Laporta? We saw laporta's numbers trend down last year because Williams was finally looking like the first round talent he was expected to be. Had the ACL tear, had the gambling situation, played a full season last year and looked like a future star. It could finally come together this year and you don't want to miss out on that.
Heath Cummings
Heath, any agreement disagreement on Jamie's list of Tyreek, Garrett, Wilson, jsn, Jameson Williams?
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, I, I pretty much agree that they could all be league winners. I have been a little bit more skeptical of Tyreek. Not because I don't think he has the upside, because I worry about the floor and the vibes in Miami are not exactly great right now. It doesn't seem like this offensive group or maybe even the coaching staff is all totally in agreement. And so I worry a little bit of that side of it. And with Garrett Wilson, I know I had Justin Fields as a league winner. The only thing really, I think that connection will be good and Fields will be better as a passer. It's just that a lot of times when we've seen Garrett Wilson have high target totals, it's been on a team that's throwing the ball 550, 600 times. I just worry that Justin Fields at his very best is leading an offense that's throwing 475 times. But no doubts at all about Garrett Wilson's talent.
Adam Azer
I, I totally agree with that. The 470 passes may all go to Garrett Wilson though, based on this receiving corner.
Heath Cummings
You mentioned what he did with Aaron Rodgers, but I think he was on pace for 200 targets with Aaron Rodgers. He's had over 140 in all three of his seasons. And Garrett Wilson's never finished higher than wide receiver. 19. I haven't pulled the trigger there on, on Wilson, you know, near the 3, 4 turn. I certainly prefer JSN. So who do you like better there, JSN or Wilson?
Adam Azer
JSN, but they're back to back for me. You know, I, I think again, they're. They're similar scenarios here, you know, in terms of maybe how they get the job done. But you know, you are talking about guys that could easily be the best receivers on their team. There's questions about their quarterbacks because I don't think Darnold does what he did last year in Seattle after leaving Kevin o' Connell system. But again, you know, you look at path to success, they both lost guys on their own roster. That would probably be roadblocks in terms of, you know, DK Metcalf being an impotent to what, what JSN ceiling can get to. And the same thing for Adams leaving the Jets. I think they're just going to get a lot of opportunities here. But I agree with you. I think JSN is just a little bit better place right now than Garrett Wilson because of where Wilson has been and just hasn't been able to produce that level yet. I just hope that he has at. At worst, and I know that's asking a lot, but at worst, the DJ Moore season with Justin Fields is what we saw in 2023 when Fields finally had a receiver get elevated to, you know, near elite status. I hope Garrett Wilson does that this year. If not better.
Heath Cummings
Oh, better is going to be tough. That was an amazing season for DJ Moore. That would be great. That would be great for Garrett Wilson and we'd love to see the production match the talent. All right, when we come back, we'll talk about league winning tight ends. Wait, wait until you see this list. I mean league winning tight ends, this is a harder list for sure. We'll be right back on Fantasy football today.

Visit roberthalf.com talent today. Welcome back to fantasy football today. League winning tight ends. Some league winning tight ends from last year. Brock Bowers, Trey McBride, George Kittle. Let's see what we've got for you this year. The names provided are brock Bowers, Trey McBride and George Kittle. Before we get into these, you know, fine, fine, let's get. After we get to these, we'll talk about some other possibilities of league winning tight ends. But you know, obviously they're going to have to be pretty great because Bowers is a second round pick. McBride's going at the 2, 3 turn, Kittle is kind of at the 3, 4 turn. Jamie, do you think these guys will outperform their draft position? Talk about them as, as league winners. They're sort of being drafted to be that.
Adam Azer
I think they will. I mean, you know, you look at the situation for all of them, you know, Bowers, I was a little hesitant just based on the addition of Genti and maybe being a little bit more run focused offense. I've since put bowers ahead of McBride. I've kind of gone back and forth all off season on these guys for a long time. I had McBride first but obviously looking at what Bowers did in his rookie season, I think the quarterback upgrade and just the system upgrade plus the opportunity to maybe just across the board score more points for the Raiders will help him. And the best part will be for both of these guys in terms of Bowers and McBride. Can they find the end zone more? And if they do and we're talking about eight plus touchdowns for both of them. It's a bigger ask for McBride based on his track record, but obviously if they can get somewhere close to double digits and touchdowns based on what they did last year, they're going to be in the 100 catch range. Like that's just amazing for tight end production. The fear for Bowers is we've seen two standout rookie tight ends in the last 10 years or so. Kyle Pitts had the thousand yard season and really fell off the following year. Had a quarterback change, which I think is just something to note. But I think in the case of Pitts that year, the quarterback change was a downgrade. This is, I think is an upgrade for Bowers. What we saw from Sam Laporta was obviously a lot of touchdowns. Well, Bowers isn't working on that same situation. Like he's going to have the opportunity to maybe increase that total as opposed to where laporta was coming off just an amazing touchdown season his rookie year two years ago. McBride, I love the way that they finished last season just specifically for him, focusing on trying to get him in the end zone. Surprisingly enough, despite the fact that he didn't score, he was in the top three in red zone targets. If he can ever find the end zone just more consistently, he's going to be an absolute monster. So I think almost he's the better bargain of the two top end guys. And then the situation in San Francisco is pretty clear right now. George Kittle was number one in terms of points per game last year in ppr. You have Brandon Ayuk on the PUP list. You have John Jennings dealing with a calf injury and Ricky Piersoll has yet to prove he can stay healthy. Forget about everything that happened with the gunshot wound. He had a injury situation last year and a hamstring injury already this year. So Kittle may be just the best bet of any of these three guys based on where he's going.
Heath Cummings
I never brought this up with you, Heath, but I was. You were not on the show when I, when I brought this up. But just thinking About Bowers and McBride, they averaged about 15 1/2 ppr fantasy points per game last year. So did George Kittle. They were all in the same range. So I thought can they get to 17? And I looked at the last, I want to say six or seven years. Go back to 2018 and all the tight ends who averaged 17 or more fantasy points per game. I think there were six of them and I think three of them were Travis Kelsey the other three were Mark Andrews in a year where the Ravens surprisingly threw the ball a lot. ZACH ERTZ In 2018, which I think was a very good year for the Eagles passing offense and and Aaron Waller one year all of those players were on offenses passing offenses that threw for more yards than what the Cardinals and the Raiders did last year. I just wonder if these are prolific enough passing offenses to give us a 17 fantasy point per game tight end. What do you think?
Jamie Eisenberg
Well, I think the fact that Brock Bowers just caught 112 passes for 1194 yards with Gardner Minshew and Aiden O' Connell as his quarterbacks when he was a rookie certainly indicates that if you and didn't have as good of offensive system that if you upgrade the offensive coordinator which they did, if you update upgrade the quarterback which they did, he has the ability, I wouldn't say 17. I think he has the ability to score 19 fantasy points per game. He's already got two touchdowns in one quarter of play. Right. What's that? That on pace 468 the hall of Fame game. Right. That counts. But no, I think you could double his touchdown total from this year if things go right. And there have been two of the last three seasons that Chip Kelly's been calling plays. His offenses have run at least 1100 plays and thrown at least 620 passes. Those were in 16 game seasons. If we get a fast paced Chip Kelly team with Geno Smith playing like he's played the last couple of years, Brock Bowers could absolutely just smash the tight end position.
Heath Cummings
Okay, do you guys see any other league winning potential players at this position?
Adam Azer
David Najoku, if Joe Flacco starts the majority of the season, I mean you go back to that 2023 year Nijoku in those six games that Flacco started five of them he was over 16 PPR points per game. And so there's so much upside for what we've seen from Najoku when it hasn't been desean Watson. Now there are a lot of things that are changing here. Most importantly, will Flacco start the majority of the season? You know that's the biggest question. He's also two years removed from playing at that level when he was coming off of his couch by the way. But can he still get the job done? He looked much better at the end of 2023 than he didn't when his opportunities with the Colts last year. I don't know if that was system everything around him. But Najoku has the ability. I think to potentially push these guys. And that's why I think we're a little bit higher on him than where you see him getting drafted. His average draft position is usually, you know, between tight end 9 and tight end 11. We have him I think across the board as a top five tight end. And then clearly Laporta, if he can get back to, you know, being the guy that we saw as rookie season, the guy that we saw at the end of last year, a lot of it is touchdowns, but if that can be a little bit more consistent, he was in the mix to be tight end 12 years ago, can get back to that level of production again. But he's probably gonna have to score, I think in the neighborhood of probably of 12 touchdowns.
Jamie Eisenberg
And if I was going to look for like who's being drafted in the double digit rounds that might turn in a top three, three or four season, which we've seen almost every year, it would have to be one of the rookies, Colston Loveland or Tyler Warren. There's so much mystery in that Target distribute distribution in Chicago. We don't know if it's going to be Luther Burden or D.J. moore or Roma Dunze. But if Colson Loveland can be second on that team in targets and Caleb Williams can be an adequate NFL quarterback, then Loveland has the skill set. If you don't believe it, just go check out Jacob Gibbs Twitter. I don't, I think he's contractually obligated to tweet about how good Colson Loveland could be every four to six hours. And then Tyler Warren, I don't, I. We hate the quarterback situation but he could be that safety valve in the passing game and maybe even do a little bit as a rusher. Those would be the two guys that come from the double digit rounds.
Heath Cummings

You guys just actually talked about him as a league winner at wide receiver. He's not going to play full time on off. You know what, I don't need to read this out loud. Everybody can read it for themselves. But Jamie, why is Travis Hunter ranked so high?
Adam Azer
I think as we just alluded to, you know, Heath said if his offensive snaps are as high as they potentially could be, he's got an opportunity to be a dominant force and maybe the best receiver for the Jaguars. I would still bet on Brian Thomas Jr. But a better system where he's going to get funnel targets from Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence and Sky's the limit for him if he's a full time offensive player.
Heath Cummings
Etha, you know, I'll let you weigh in on that too, just real quick.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, I mean his coach has said that he wants him to play percent of the snaps on offense. A lot of wide receivers are good and only play 65%. So very few wide receivers play 100%. I think he is going to play for the most part full time. His quarterback is probably an average NFL quarterback and we wouldn't view him so terribly if we hadn't tried to elevate him for so long.
Heath Cummings
All right, next question please. Mark, what's the main difference between an 8 team league and a 12 team league? 2. Running back to wide receiver, no flex. Are quarterback and tight end a higher priority in this eight team, no flex league? Heath, is this an easy.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yes, it's a much, much higher priority. Yes. The other difference is the agony of setting your lineup in an 18 league because you're gonna have 17 starters on your bench. But yes, I would prioritize the elite players at all positions.
Heath Cummings
Man, when would you take your number one tight end and your number one quarterback in this format?
Adam Azer
First two rounds if you wanted to.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, I might wait until like after the top three to five at each running back and wide receiver position are gone, but it wouldn't take long.
Heath Cummings
All right, let's go to our next one here. Give this one to Jamie. It's from Dean. In Keeper or Dynasty, how many games suspension is the cutoff to end ties with Rasheed Rice. What do you think? Jamie?
Adam Azer
I don't know about ending ties. You know, you're hopefully looking at it more than just the 2025 campaign. And rice could still be the best receiver with Patrick Mahomes for many years to come. Imagine once Travis Kelce retires, like we're expecting a lot from Xavier Worthy and they'll continue to add talent. But you know, Rice has just been so dominant for the Chiefs on the field and even in practice so far. So I would not be cutting ties no matter what the suspension is.
Heath Cummings
Next, our last questions from Brett. What are you doing in preparation for the big tennis match that is a week from tomorrow? I will be taking a couple of lessons next week. Hopefully. I have a doubles tournament this weekend. I am ready. I am fired up and way too optimistic. But you know what? You got to have confidence. You got to fake it. Tyreek Hill is recognized for his enduring elite performance and potential to rebound to top-tier fantasy status.
[38:52] Adam Azer:
"Brock Bowers has the ability to maybe just across the board score more points. If they can get somewhere close to double digits in touchdowns, they're going to be in the 100 catch range."

[47:43] Jamie Eisenberg:
"In an eight team, no flex league, quarterback and tight end are a much, much higher priority."
