Running an Airbnb for a while now, and it's been a great way to make use of my extra space, especially when I'm traveling. And I've got some great trips coming up. First, I'm heading to Pinehurst, North Carolina for an annual golf trip with the crew. Always a blast. Then I'm swinging down to my old stomping grounds in Gainesville, Florida to catch a Gators game and slide into my favorite Mexican spot, La Tienda, for some steak tacos. What I love is that with the Airbnb Co host network, I don't have to think twice about what's happening back home. I found a local pro who handles everything, creating the listing, managing bookings, messaging guests, even being there in person if anything comes up. I get to enjoy the trip, be in the moment and know everything's running smoothly. So whether you already host like I do or you've got a space just sitting empty while you're away, this is a total game changer. Find a co host@airbnb.com host this is.

Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play. Can you believe this? No, I can't. It's time. Time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays on his feet.
Jamie
This is going to go the distance.
Adam
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath. It's mail. It's not really mailbag time, but it feels like it's mailbag time because it's Adam, Jamie and Dan today. And Dan, your refrigerator is behind you. We already know what's in there, so we won't be talking about that today. But we got a fun show. Listen beginning tomorrow. It's a very business like week and a half of fantasy football. Today we've got quarterback and tight end previews Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Mailbag, paid mailbag. And your questions and comments on Friday and then Monday and Tuesday. Next week, running backs part one and two, Wednesday and Thursday. Next week, wide receivers part one and two. So I might have mixed up the dates on that. But anyway, position preview is coming up in the next week and a half, so. So today we're gonna have a little fun. You excited for this game show, Schneier?
Jamie
Well, given my history on the show of game shows mostly being matched up against Heath who's just dominant at these things. Not excited, but cautiously optimistic that maybe I'll have a shot against Jamie.
Adam
Jamie, what's going on? You ready, Dan? Exactly. Yes. We will be playing the feud. We will be playing fantasy Jeopardy.
Jamie
Just to make it clear. I don't have to say Dan before I answer.
Adam
Not on the feud.
Jamie
No.
Adam
We'll be playing a couple of other games that might be new to some people. Might be new to some people. But we're going to cover fantasy football stuff first. Including just, just based on what we've been seeing, some reports from training camp, a couple of players that I wonder if they are on the rise.
Heath
Jamie.
Adam
And let's start with Tank Bigsby in Jacksonville because he's been a pretty integral part of the run game. It's according to all reports so far, whereas ETN may be seeing more of a pass catching role. And Chase Brown, I feel like I've, I've sort of skipped over this. Just what the, the Bengals are saying, what their offensive coordinator is saying that he's going to be that Chase Brown's going to be a household name by the end of the year. Makes me very exciting for excited for a guy who was a top six running back after the Zach Moss injury. So your thoughts on Tank Bigsby and Chase Brown and then we could talk about some other players that might be on the rise for you.
Heath
I think in the case of Chase Brown, it's sort of, you know, whatever side of the fence you were on with him, this just Pushed you, you know, probably to the positive side if, if you weren't there. It's, it's, it's kind of what I expected. I mean, you know, coming off the year that he had and, and the guys that they brought in, you know, Zach Moss is still hurt. Samajp Ryan, more of a, you know, pass catching, special teams type of player that wasn't going to challenge him for featured work, but maybe take him off the field in the past situation, then Taj Brooks, I think is more of a play for the future as opposed to play for the now. So I was, I was, you know, encouraged by this, you know, more so than surprised by it in the case of Tank Bigsby. So if you've been reading our content, I've been trying to keep up with a lot of these, you know, news stories and things that are relevant to our audience. I was going to write it something on Bigsby yesterday. I've been kind of following Pete Prisco's training camp tour because he's been getting good interviews and just kind of playing off of the interviews that he's gotten. So he's in Jacksonville today and I'm sure he'll get some stuff there and just waiting to hear what he's gonna report. So I'll write something on that today. Dan, get ready. But yeah, Bigsby is somebody that I think he's definitely been a riser for me in my rankings. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm thinking right now especially, you know, we talked about this a little bit. Maybe I referenced it, I mentioned it to you with the network show. Tootin Vishal, Michelle Tootin. I was butcher's right. Bashel Tootin mispractice through the hamstring injury and with the, the fumble issues that sort of resurfaced in minicamp and OTAs missing time. Now it feels like we're going to see the top two guys at the start of the season be BigSby and ETN in some way shape or form. And Bigsby right now is. Somebody asked me this yesterday. I said if you had done a, any best ball drafts prior to this week, he would have been one of the best steals you can get because he was going so late. Still may be a great steal, but it feels as if like the momentum is building for him that we may see him pass ETN in average app position within a week or two.
Adam
Would that be a mistake though, in ppr, you know, down the stretch, Bigsby, like the last five games of the year, he missed the Game he came back in week 12 or 13 and and I think he was a little bit limited there. But then the last five weeks of the season he out carried etn.
Heath
He.
Adam
They both were actually pretty horrible in terms of yards per carry in that stretch. But he had 66 carries. ETN had had 55 but he had only three catches. This is a guy that they basically did not throw to at all. Less than once a game, one catch a game when when he was on the field with ETN down the stretch and for the season, seven catches in 16 games for Tank Bigsby. So I could see it in non ppr. I could see it in half ppr Dan. But would that be a mistake to draft him ahead of Travis ETN in full ppr?
Jamie
Depends who you ask. If you ask me someone who does put faith on the changes in coaching staff and what that means for players and players capabilities, the answer is no. Tank biggest he caught 30 passes his final year at Auburn, 21 year before. That's nothing crazy, but it's something that shows that he's capable. And the way that Liam Cohen uses.
Heath
Running backs in the passing game, it's.
Jamie
More design touches, more design screens. And that to me does not require some kind of unbelievable route running like from an Alvin Camara type. It just requires a running back to be in sync with the offense and on time with the screen game. And I think Bigsby can be that in space. I still think he's their best player behind the T between the tackles. I still think he's their best running back. So to me he should be moving ahead of ETN at this point and I will be on that train as we kind of work through training camp. And I think Jamie's right. We will see that ADP flip.
Heath
Do you remember kind of the Ken Walker narrative? It kind of feels the same.
Jamie
Yeah, he couldn't catch passes right.
Heath
Until I forget the Washington coach that went there then got fired right before office coordinator.
Adam
Yeah. Well and with I don't know if we've mentioned the goal line work, but I think that's definitely a strength of Bigsby's. Not necessarily a vtns. In those last five games, those two combined for five carries inside the three yard line or the three yard line or closer. Bigsby had four of them. So I do think he could be deployed in that role certainly over etn. A lot to think about. We'll keep an eye on it. By the way, update on Basil Tutin. He is dressed and has a helm. This is from about an hour ago dressed and has a helmet working off to the side with trainers and the players on the PUP list. So I guess that's, you know, not. Not a bad thing. Doesn't seem like it's too big of an injury. Okay, I have a cool stat I was trying to work on just before the show. I got it at the buzzer.
Jamie
So that or normal stat.
Adam
No, I think this is a normal stat. Okay, I'm calling this segment Cool stat. Hansel. Thanks.
Jamie
Is that. What's that movie again called? Yes, it is that Stiller.
Adam
Yes, it is that movie that you should definitely not be struggling to think of what is. Oh wow, something just fell. This is disaster. I don't know what movie. What movie? Zoolander. Thank you. Just think about Baker Mayfield. We have our quarterbacks preview tomorrow, so we'll talk about it more. But just ignore Baker Mayfield averaged 26.2 fantasy points per game in 6 point per passing touchdown leagues last year. That is a tremendous season. So I was thinking how many quarterbacks have averaged 26 or more fantasy points per game and really struggled the next year? So I looked at the last 10 seasons. We go back to 2013 because you need, you need the season in the season. I can't look at 2024 obviously, because I don't know what they did in 2025, but if we start in 2013 over. Since then there have been 30 quarterbacks who have averaged 26 or more fantasy points per game in six point per passing touchdown leagues and only seven of them averaged fewer than 22 fantasy points per game the following season. So that's pretty good. I was hoping for Mayfield's sake that would be a little bit lower of a number because you did have some guys who just had pretty bad seasons. The year after Cam Newton went from QB1 to QB17 per game, Matt Ryan went from top three if not number one per game to QB21 per game. Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz it was interesting. It's a little bit like Mayfield. He had a huge year in 2017, 2018, he averaged 21.1 points per game. He was only QB15 per game. He actually had a better passer rating, get a great year passing, but his rushing totals came way down. He also played about half a season. So there have been Tom Brady later in his career. Actually, I think his first year with Tampa bay he was QB 16 per game after a big year in 2021. Justin Herbert had a big 2021, dropped to QB 17 per game the following year. So it has happened there have been some cases, but typically players who average 26 or more fantasy points per game, they at least were top 10 the next year. So just something to think about. We can talk about it tomorrow on the show.
Heath
But are you, are you back on the bus train or off the bus train?
Adam
I think his ADP is pretty good. I think if you get Baker Mayfield in the seventh round, you're giving yourself a shot at at his upside, which if we love a Buka so much and still have Evans at God, when I'm really nervous about Godwin, I think his ADP is pretty good. But there's so many things that could go wrong for him, especially the rushing quarterbacks.
Jamie
You can get so much later that have probably just as much upside in my mind at least just as much Theoretical Jordan love Brock Purdy, among others. But maybe great may if he runs, there's plenty of options out.
Adam
There's theoretical upside with some of those guys, but they haven't actually scored 26 fantasy points per game.
Jamie
That's true. They will be playing. I mean, like the difference to me between what you're missing out in round seven at wide receiver and running back versus what you're getting the round you're getting these quarterbacks. That's where it becomes a tough sell for me.
Adam
Well, I think I took him, Jamie, in round eight in our pick by pick and it was just at that point.
Jamie
Yeah. I think if you're not scrambling, it's going to be tough for me to take you as a quarterback in that round six through eight range. And he's not going to run much.
Heath
Yes. But I, I guess at the same time we talked about this yesterday. Like, can you really, really, really at this point justify Patrick Mahomes in round six?
Jamie
That's a good, that's an interesting comment, right, that it's like the two stationary quarterbacks, one's actually producing the other just as the name brand.
Adam
I would not call them stationary. Baker Mayfield ran for 378 yards and three touchdowns last year. This is part of my bus case. I don't think he can come even close to that the year before he.
Jamie
When has he done that in this, in the past?
Adam
Yeah, he really has. And he ran for 163 yards the year before that. So he was at 6.3 yards per carry in 2024, 2.6 yards per carry in 2023. But he's a career 3.9. So I'm thinking he could get you in the 2.25ish range. Mahomes, though, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I feel like he regularly, regularly rushes for more than 300 yards. He ran for 307 yards in 16 games last year. I just got the numbers. So he's not stationary. He's a 300 plus yard rusher. But you know what? I'm going to pause and I'm going to continue this conversation tomorrow on our Quarterbacks Preview. Right now I'm going to tell you there are still some spots available available in the FFT open at tinyurl.com 2025fft tinyurl.com 2025fft let's sell out the FFT open. We got a little bit more time to do that. If you've already joined the FFT Open, I'm aiming for Friday invitations to your league. So I'm sorry it's taking a little while. I want to get past the two position previews. Then I'll have a little bit of time on Thursday to set up the league and hopefully send out the invites. But they are coming, I promise. Thank you for your patience. We have a live stream tonight. Sorry dan livestream tonight, 7pm eastern@YouTube.com fantasy football today we're going to be doing a live mock draft, talking about it. Our listeners are in this. They paid $50 to be in this. We thank you for your donation and looking forward to hanging out with all of you tonight at 7pm Eastern. YouTube.com fantasy football today. What's up?
Jamie
And I have had some and you may not know. This may have been a better question asked off air, but we'll ask it anyway. I have had some people ask how they can get involved and donate for the match part two, which is you versus me, second match in tennis. Remember for those who weren't there, didn't remember last year I won 6260 against Adam.
Adam
How could they forget dad?
Jamie
And but let's see, is there anything open yet for people to donate to that? Not yet. Okay. So just keep an eye on them for that. We're still two weeks away, I think from that.
Adam
It's yeah, a little bit two weeks from Thursday. So it's gonna be Thursday, August 14th from 4 to 6pm I don't know what time we'll start. Probably start around 4:15, maybe a little bit in that range. It's gonna, we're gonna stream it live on YouTube. It's gonna be really cool. We're gonna have guys commenting from home. Jamie, Dave, Heath, hopefully all of them are available to Give live commentary while we are playing and of course get donations. Gonna be a big fundraiser. But what we did last year was we put spots in the Fantasy Football Today league, not the FFT open, just, you know, CBS League Fantasy Football Today to be co managers with me and Dan. Anyway, I'll tell you more about that some other time. News and notes. Justin Fields practiced. That's great news. No timetable for Kenny Pickett to return from his hamstring injury. Joe Flacco is going to get most of the first team reps. So I think that's probably what we're rooting for. But I also. Jamie, just correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think anyone should go into this year thinking that Cleveland's not going to have multiple quarterbacks over under two and a half starting quarterbacks for Cleveland this year.
Heath
I'll take the under. I think it's gonna be two.
Adam
Okay. Yeah. Who are your two?
Heath
Go to Shador Flacco and Gabriel and let's see.
Adam
Denver signed Cortland Sutton to a four year, $92 million extension, 41 million guaranteed for Cortland Sutton. Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez, terrific young player. He left practice with an injury. Terry McLaurin does not seem close to an agreement on a contract according to Adam Schefter. Jordan Schultz reports that Kansas City rookie Josh Simmons is on track to start at left tackle for them. That's a big, big role for that young player. All right, Dan, Jamie, let's talk about the Cowboys offensive line. Robert Jones is out two to three months. He was on the Dolphins last year, is on the Cowboys now. Is that two to three months with a broken bone in his neck. But more importantly. Well, I don't want to trivialize that. That's obviously hopeful hope for the best with him. But Tyler Guyton, their left tackle, is out four to six weeks. I guess it's a good time to be out four to six weeks but still going to miss all of preseason. So Dan, is this concerning you at all from a Cowboys perspective?
Jamie
Jones not as much. I think he was depth piece for them and they drafted Tyler Booker so I think he would be the option for they need to go there. But Guyton is definitely a tricky one because he's a player who hasn't been exactly as well. He was drafted high but always in my mind and anyone who studied him always was known as developmental player. But he was supposed to take that jump from this last year to this year. And there were some positive signs before this injury. This is the type of Thing that can set you back as a player. But they originally feel feared it was ACL and now it's going to be four to six weeks. So it's actually ultimately good news for them. I think he'll play probably as early as week two, week three range. Until then, I think the Cowboys will lean more on their run game. That's the best way to protect injuries on your offensive line is just running the football, not putting your offensive line in pass pass protection sets.
Adam
And Jamie, I'm looking at three different websites right now and where they're ranking offensive lines and Pro Football Network has them 17th, but the other two have the Cowboys 23rd or lower. So could just be a different era of Cowboys football. Your thoughts on that?
Heath
I mean, look, they, they've been retooling this on the fly, you know, with the left tackle that left Tyrone Smith. Tyrone Smith and then Zach Martin's retirement, you know, so they've had to replace two hall of Famers in the last, you know, three seasons and clearly making it a focal point. We've seen what their drafts have been. So it's not ideal. But I think to Dan's point, you know, the fact that he's not lost for the season is encouraging and just, you know, sort of looking at something that Todd Bowles said yesterday just watching his interview with the Tristan worse injury. When it happens at this point in the season, you have time to adjust versus when it happens week to week, you know, in, in the NFL season. So they'll have, you know, clearly some sort of contingent plan in place whether it's whoever's on the roster or bringing somebody in, then you hope that you get Guyton back and he's, you know, good to go. So clearly not ideal. But I think, you know, if there is a silver lining to this, not acl, not lost for the season and could be back at least within the first month of the year.
Adam
All right, some more news items here we'll fly through. The Colts sign left tackle Bernard ryman to a four year, $100 million extension the Titans waived, trailing Burks. And another Baker Mayfield note, He just got $30 million guaranteed next season. They restructured his contract. He previously had no money guaranteed in 2026. Baker Mayfield gets $30 million guaranteed next season. So he's going to be on the team most likely.
Heath
He said that on on HQ during the interview.
Adam
Oh, excellent. Very cool. I'm going to take a break. When we come back, let's have some fun. Play some games on fantasy football today as a young adult. It is time for America's 26 favorite fantasy football related game show. It is time for who has More? This is a game that we play on CBS Sports Network during the season, but right now it's going to be who had More? We're going to be looking back into the past and yeah, I'm going to let you guys buzz in by saying your name. So we're definitely going to get some Dan's here. I hope. Anyway, who had more completions of 20 or more yards last season? The Kansas City Chiefs or the Tennessee Titans?
Jamie
The Tennessee Titans.
Adam
Oh my.
Jamie
Say your name. It's ridiculous.
Adam
Hold on one second. That's for Dan. You gotta be kidding. I just told you to say your name to buzz in. I just told you that.
Jamie
Ridiculous. I got criticized all last year for the Dans and now the game is you say Dan.
Adam
Yeah, I just told you that. And I even said we're definitely gonna have some dance and you messed it up right away.
Jamie
I was thinking about the game. I was too locked in trying to not have such a poor performance. You have to understand I'm a little shell shocked. All these times I've been on the game show, I've gotten my butt kicked by Heath. So I'm trying.
Adam
He's not even here. He's in your head. He's in your head. All right, Jamie, you get to guess who had more completions of 20 or more yards, Kansas City or Tennessee.
Heath
Tennessee.
Adam
Tennessee is the correct answer. If only you had just buzzed in properly, dad. But it was very close. Tennessee 2043 Kansas City 42, which ranked 27th in the NFL. All right, who had more catches last year, Jacoby Myers or Devon Hn?
Jamie
Dan.
Adam
Dan.
Jamie
Devon Hn.
Adam
Jamie. You got a guess?
Heath
I hope it's Myers.
Adam
It is. Myers 87.
Jamie
Jamie. He didn't say Jamie.
Adam
To 78.
Heath
He didn't say Jamie. You just happened to get it first.
Adam
Who has. See, there's a little bit of a strategy here. Do you want to buzz in first or do you want to let the other guy guess wrong? Potentially wrong.
Heath
Well, if you know, you buzz in first.
Adam
I know, but he was so confident. He really thought he knew that it was a chat and it wasn't.
Jamie
Oh, man, this scoreboard's starting to feel like another Adam Dan tennis match.
Adam
Who had more yards per route run last season? Marvin Mims Jr. Or Justin Jefferson?
Jamie
Dan.
Adam
Dan.
Jamie
Oh, Marvin.
Adam
I'm just gonna go. Oh, is that your answer? Yeah, it is correct. Here, I'm gonna give you a list.
Jamie
He was like an 80 yard bomb.
Adam
Yeah, he was fifth and Justin Jefferson was sixth. I'm gonna give you a list of players over the last three seasons who have averaged 2.5 or more yards per route run with a minimum of 50 targets in a season. Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Jalen Waddle, Stefan Diggs, Nico Collins, Brandon Ayuk, CD Lamb, Amanra St Brown, Pukinakua, and Marvin Mims.
Jamie
It's pretty good list. Mims, breakout season four years ago.
Heath
Interesting player.
Adam
He is, right?
Heath
Yeah, because, you know, you saw the connection at the end of the season and, and the big plays were there and they bring in two guys that clearly are going to get some targets in some way, shape or form. Ingram's easy to see the path to him getting production. Pat Bryant's the other one, and we'll see how much work he gets and what role he'll play. They still have Devon Vale, who I, I think will be part of the, you know, wide receiver rotation. And the positive reports on Troy Franklin, who we thought was going to be the, you know, rookie or the, the second receiver last year, you know, with his connection from, from college with, with Bo Nix. He's had from all accounts a good off season. So we'll see how this all sort of puzzle comes together. But, you know, Courtland Sutton, I don't think you mentioned in the notes, Courtland sudden got a pretty big extension. Yeah, I'm sorry. Okay.
Adam
Jerk.
Heath
And. And the way that he finished last year was awesome. And so, you know, we'll see if he continues to be One of the better buys on. On draft day based on his average opposition, which getting kind of closer to I think where he should be going late, early around five at this point, but I think he's around four.
Adam
Pick Cortland Sutton. Okay, who had more carries of 20 or more yards last season? Bucky Irving or Devon Achan and Jonathan Taylor combined? Dan, I think that was a. Dan. Dan, go ahead. Was it Bucky irving or Devon HN and Jonathan Taylor combined?
Jamie
Von HN and Jonathan Taylor combined.
Adam
Correct. We are tied at 2. It was 8 to 7.
Jamie
Actually my best version of any of our games because I get to just. It's essentially just read Azer and how he's framing each question and kind of read through which. Because like that one, it's like, oh, you think it's gonna be Bucky Irving? You're giving the two. It's obvious. No, go with the obvious answer. I know you played these questions, so getting better.
Adam
All right. Bucky Irving had eight. I know. Bucky Irving had seven carries of 20 or more yards, which is pretty incredible on something like 205 carries. And Achan and Taylor combined for eight carries of 20 or more yards. I think they each had four. Last one for all the marbles. Do they want to buzz in first or do they want to let the other guy decide the fate? Who had more carries from the 3 yard line or closer? Chuba Hubbard or Derrick Henry?
Jamie
Dan, go ahead.
Adam
For the win. Go ahead. Read me, dad, Read me.
Jamie
Cuba Hubbard.
Adam
You suck at reading me. It is Derek Henry doubling back. They were both among the leaders. Derek Henry, 15 to 14. Congratulations, JB. You are the winner of who had More. I'm gonna put a little J next to who had More. It's time for our next game. It is the Fantasy Feud. Dan. This is another one where you have to buzz it.
Jamie
We have to say Dan.
Adam
Just for the first one, though.
Heath
This was the infamous Dan.
Adam
Yeah. So this is when he. He was. This is what happened. Like we played the initial round, you know, where you determine who has. Who's gonna compete. And Dan was gonna compete. And I asked him. Okay, it's just you now, like give me the top five answers, whatever. And he goes, Dan. Anyway, it's time for Fantasy Feud. The top five answers are on the board. You have to say your name to buzz in here. Okay. After the first five quarterbacks are off the board. Allen, Jackson, Daniels, Hertz Burrow. Who are the next five quarterbacks in Fantasy Pros? Adp.
Heath
Jamie.
Adam
Jamie.
Heath
We have to get all five or just one.
Adam
All five. Well, right now, you need to get the highest one.
Heath
Patrick Mahomes.
Adam
Okay? He is the number one answer, AKA number six. Pass or play.
Heath
Oh, pass is much more fun.
Adam
It's kind of an easy one. I thought you'd play. All right, Dan, you are up. So Mahomes is off the board. What we're looking for now are QBs 7 through 10 in average draft position on fantasy pros. Oh, and by the way, I think this is mostly 4 point per passing. Touchdown. All right, you said Baker Mayfield. That is correct. He's number seven.
Heath
Okay.
Jamie
Pass. Is that how it works? Pass or play or.
Heath
No, that's it.
Jamie
I mean, Jamie just got a peasant.
Adam
Okay. Have you ever seen this show? I don't get it.
Jamie
Of course I haven't seen this show. Why do you think I made the mistake last year? I've watched the show and I'm still making the mistake. No, I've never seen Family Feud. Not one time have I seen.
Adam
You're a jab dude. I just love it. Okay, here's how it works.
Jamie
I have to play it out. All right, I'll play it out. I'll play it out.
Adam
You have to play out. But just so everyone knows that you play the. You play at first, you ask the question, and both of you are competing, and one of you buzzes in, and whoever gets that right gets to choose if they want to pass or play. So Jamie chose pass. So now you have to answer the rest, and you get three strikes. If you don't get all of the names before you get three strikes, Jamie has a chance to steal. He just has to name one. Okay. All right. So Mahomes and Mayfield are off the board. We need three more. Bo Nicks is correct. Two more.
Jamie
Give me Jared Goff.
Adam
Jared Goff. Nice. He's number 10. So all we're missing is number nine. It's Mahomes, Mayfield, Nicks. Blank nine. You have three or blank at golf. You have three wrong guesses left. Jamie, you need to be thinking about who. Who you're gonna play to steal here.
Heath
Okay?
Jamie
Okay, let's. This one's not gonna work. So I don't think I want to go with it, but I'm gonna try it anyway. Justin Herbert. Yeah, that didn't feel good from the start.
Adam
Oh, wait a second. Wait a second.
Jamie
What is he.
Adam
I made a mistake.
Jamie
Oh.
Adam
Jared Goff was wrong. Sorry. Jared Goff was.
Jamie
And I don't think that I'm taking back. I get two wrong.
Adam
All right, that's Fine. Jared Goff was.
Jamie
I wouldn't have played as Willy Nilly. Okay, let's go.
Adam
You have one strike. Two answers on the board.
Jamie
Brock Purdy should be. But he should be.
Adam
Okay, well, I'll count him then.
Jamie
No, we don't count him. Then who else is there? Like, how is this possible? Who am I missing? How about what else is in that NFC West? Oh, math. No, no, no.
Adam
You have five seconds.
Jamie
I think of good quarterbacks. Justin Fields. Is he in there?
Adam
He is number 10.
Jamie
Yeah. Okay, so I bought myself a little bit of time to filibuster. Who else would be in there?
Adam
Four, three.
Jamie
Trevor Lawrence. It's not right.
Adam
All right, Jamie, you get a chance to steal here. All you need is number nine in adp. Who is it?
Heath
Give me the guy's he said please.
Adam
Okay, we have Mahomes Mayfield, Bo Nicks, and Justin Fields off the board. We need number nine. I don't think I should tell you who he guessed. That's up to you to listen at all.
Heath
No, I would have seen it on the board.
Adam
No, you wouldn't have seen the wrong answers on the board. You would have seen just the right.
Heath
I don't want the wrong answers. I don't want the wrong answers.
Adam
Yeah, I gave you the right answers. Mahomes Mayfield, Nixon Fields.
Heath
Yeah, I'll say. Kyler Murray.
Adam
Hey, it's so funny because he's like, who in the NFC West?
Jamie
And then he skipped over, still drafting KYLER MURRAY. Top 10 based on four points for passing touchdowns.
Heath
He gave you the clue.
Jamie
No, it's still not. I still wouldn't take Kyler Murray over the guys, I guess.
Adam
All right, next category. This is the Face Off. Somebody told me to call this the Face Off. So for the Face off, you both.
Jamie
I mean, I get the trade faces with Jamie and.
Adam
Yeah. And voices and all that.
Jamie
And voices and everything.
Adam
Okay. And then your voice will turn back to your normal voice just at the right time when someone in your family is in danger. What a ridiculous movie.
Jamie
Epic. Epic concept.
Adam
Okay, so top six answers are on the board. Remember, you have to say your name here to buzz in. Top six answers are on the board. Running back, receiving yards last season.
Heath
Jamie.
Adam
Jamie Devon.
Heath
Hn.
Adam
He's the number one answer. Pass or play, please go.
Heath
Pass.
Jamie
This is no good. Nobody catches passes anymore. But I know one person who's in there. Breeze Hall's in there.
Adam
I think Bruce hall is number four. We have HN1 and hall four.
Jamie
Breeze Hall's in there. Bijan Robinson's in there.
Adam
Number five.
Jamie
Yeah. We're doing six.
Adam
Yeah.
Jamie
So I have four, five, and. And one. Jamie got with a chan. So we got Bijan. We've got Breeze Hall, Breece Hall. I want to say this player, but I don't think he's in there. Do I want to say Jim? Jameer Gibbs.
Adam
Jameer Gibbs is correct. He's number three.
Jamie
Okay, so I just need two and six. Honestly, quite frankly, I'm doing pretty good on both of these just to get four or five and maybe three or five.
Adam
You're the best, man.
Jamie
Let's see if I can finish the job, though. Let's see if I can finish the job is the real key here as I work in my mind. James Cook. All right, I get two more wrong guesses, right?
Adam
Yep.
Jamie
Okay, That's Ken Walker.
Adam
Good guess. But not. Not correct.
Jamie
That was a good guess. This is a nightmare. Josh Jacobs. No, that's stupid. I didn't even mean to guess that.
Adam
I can't. I can't give that one back to you there.
Jamie
Yeah, yeah.
Adam
Walker only played 11 games or he would have been on there. All right, we got two guys missing here. Number two and number six. Jamie, you need to get one of them. Just one of them.
Heath
Most receiving yards.
Adam
Yeah.
Heath
Alvin Khmer.
Adam
Correct.
Jamie
Oh, yeah, Obviously, Alvin Khmer.
Adam
Number two.
Jamie
Gotta get one more.
Adam
Number six was the reason I even put this on here because I was surprised. James Connor.
Heath
What?
Jamie
I thought Jamie had to guess that.
Adam
No, he only has to get one.
Jamie
Oh, yeah.
Adam
414 yards for James Connor. Okay, Jamie has won the feud. Although this last one is triple the points.
Jamie
Let's go.
Adam
Still alive. Top five answers are on the board. You have to say your name here to buzz in. Highest. This is in honor of happy Gilmore. 2 highest grossing non animated Adam Sandler movies.
Heath
Jamie.
Adam
Jamie.
Heath
Non animated.
Adam
Non animated. Because the top three are all Hotel Transylvania.
Heath
Oh, Waterboy. It's not on the list.
Adam
No, not in the top five. Dan, you got a guess?
Jamie
Oh, it goes to me now.
Adam
Yeah.
Jamie
And Happy Gilmore Daddy.
Adam
All right, I'll allow it. That's number five. Pass or play?
Jamie
Pass.
Adam
Okay, Jamie, you got to name the top five highest grossing Adam Sandler live action movies. Big daddy's number five. That's tough.
Jamie
Especially Wasn't Happy.
Heath
It wasn't?
Jamie
Yeah.
Heath
Water boy. Wow.
Jamie
All these, like, Kevin Hart movies. He does five Grown Ups.
Adam
Grown Ups is the number one answer.
Jamie
Fortunately, I gave that away by saying.
Adam
The wrong Kevin, too. Because it's Kevin James. But, yeah, Grown Ups is number one.
Jamie
Jamie was in those movies, too.
Heath
I wonder how much the Netflix stuff. Uncut Gems.
Jamie
One straight movie, though.
Heath
How many more do I have?
Adam
One. Two more strikes. Five.
Jamie
What? He's getting made like three wrong guesses.
Heath
Grown Ups 2.
Adam
Oh, sorry, no. Grown Ups 2 is number two. Correct. They're the highest grossing Adam Sandler non animated booties.
Heath
More.
Adam
You need two more. We have Big Daddy at number five. We have Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 at the top of the list.
Jamie
Five.
Heath
Oh, Billy Madison. What? This is ridiculous.
Adam
I know. They didn't make that much money back then. Like they, you know. Okay, here we go. Five needs. What? Deeds, you're not up right now. Jamie's got one more guess. 5.
Heath
50. First date.
Adam
All right, Dan, you got a chance to steal here for triple the points. Top five highest grossing Adam Sandler live action movie. Okay, it's Mr. Deeds. You can't just abbreviate everything.
Jamie
People call it Deeds.
Adam
People don't call it Deeds. That's incorrect. We're looking for pixels and click.
Jamie
Would have never said pixels. Click. I'm surprised by.
Heath
Wait, is it Pixels Animation?
Adam
I don't. Is it.
Heath
Oh, you ruined this so badly.
Adam
Is Pixels animated?
Heath
Yes.
Adam
I thought it was.
Jamie
The whole question's fugazi. No.
Adam
No, it's not. That's not a.
Dan
That's not an animated movie.
Adam
It's got some animation in it. In Azer.
Dan
You probably should have adjusted these for inflation.
Adam
Oh, sorry.
Jamie
Wow. Good point, Thomas.
Heath
This. That was terrible.
Adam
Okay, whatever. All right, we're gonna play one more game before our break. This one's a little more fantasy relevant. It's called when he was Healthy. Let me explain it to you.
Jamie
This is basically Azer stat turned into a game.
Adam
This is. So I'm going to give you. All right, so the first one is when he was. When David Montgomery was healthy, who averaged more PPR fantasy points per game? I'm going to give you a player. You know what? I'll explain it as we go. When he was healthy, when David Montgomery was healthy, who averaged more PPR fantasy points per game? David Montgomery or Ken Walker? But this is full season. Ken Walker, not just when David Montgomery was healthy, if that makes sense. So, Jamie, it's Basically Dave Montgomery vs. Ken Walker. Who averaged more fantasy points per game?
Heath
Jamie Walker.
Adam
That is correct. 16.5 to 15.7.
Heath
Very good.
Adam
When David Montgomery was healthy, who averaged more PPR fantasy points per game? Full season, Alvin Camara or Jameer Gibbs? When Montgomery was healthy?
Heath
Jamie.
Adam
Jamie Camara. Camara by 0.1 19 points per game compared to 18.9 and he's going four rounds later. When Rasheed Rice and Isaiah likely were both healthy, who averaged more targets per game? Mark Andrews or Travis Kelsey? Dan, you buzzing in?
Jamie
Yeah, I'm buzzing in.
Adam
All right, Travis Kelsey Kelsey, four targets per game. Mark Andrews, 3.9 targets per game. Dan is correct, two to one. Jamie, when Isaiah Pacheco was healthy, which is just weeks 1 and 2, I'm not counting his crap. After just weeks 1 and 2, who average more touches per game? Pacheco in weeks 1 and 2 or full season? Kyron Williams.
Heath
Jamie.
Adam
Jamie.
Heath
Kyren Williams.
Adam
Kyren Williams by 1/10 of a touch, 20.6 to 20.5. But just think about that. Pacheco is why I like him a lot. Weeks 1 and 2, 20.5 touches per game. Jamie wins this round. By the way, when Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were Both healthy weeks one through six, who averaged more PPR fantasy fantasy points per game? Evans in weeks one through six or full season. DJ Moore.
Jamie
Dan.
Adam
Dan Evans in weeks one through six by 0.3. 14.3 PPR fantasy points per game compared to 14.0 for DJ Moore. Congratulations, guys. Jamie, you have won all three. I do have Fantasy Jeopardy. If you want to play that after the break, you can decide or we can move on. We'll be right back on fantasy football today after this. Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile. With the price of just about everything going up, we thought we'd bring our prices down. So to help us, we brought in a reverse auctioneer, which is apparently a thing Mint Mobile unlimited premium wireless.
Heath
30, 30. Better get 30. Better get 20. 20, 20. Better get 20. 20, better get 15.
Adam
15, 15, 15.
Heath
Just 15 bucks a month.
Adam

Fantasy Jeopardy or Fantasy Cops. What's that?
Heath
I didn't think Dan could be surpassed, but pass may have moved ahead of.
Adam
Damn, that was really funny.
Jamie
I don't know the game. Never watched it. But we're gonna pass on the final game after I got Scott whooped. 3 0.
Heath
No, I think we play Schaefer.
Adam
You're the producer. What do you think? Keep the fun going or move on? Keep it going. All right, here we go. Fantasy Jeopardy. Quarterbacks, pass catchers, and famous Dan's or Daniels are our three, three categories today.
Jamie
Oh, I like the last one.
Heath
I.
Adam
Although I want to, you know, can we do something here? Can we save this to the end? Because I want to get into some emails with a little bit more fantasy relevance and then we'll play Fantasy Jeopardy to end the end the show. Sound good?
Heath
Yeah.
Adam
And we'll do Fantasy Cops also. All right. Emails at fantasy football cbsi.com so Pete from Seattle wants to know basically why Drake May is so much higher than Bryce Young in the rankings when Bryce Young also finished the season strong. And, and he can run to Pete's point, not like Drake May. But he also says one plays for an offensive coach, the other for a defensive coach. One team's defense is projected to be much better than the other. Carolina drafted a wide receiver in the top 10 and has, in my opinion, better overall talent as pass catchers than New England. So I don't know that he's saying that May should be. That Young should be higher than May, but maybe the gap should be a little bit closer. Jamie, your thoughts?
Heath
I think he alluded to it, the running Young can run, May will run. And that's a big difference for me, you know. So, yes, the talent around at least going into the season potentially favors Bryce Young because McMillan has got so much upside. You know, the, the difference between him and Kyle Williams should be glaring. I don't know if it will be, but it should be in terms of the rookie receivers that were added. I do think the addition of Travion Henderson from a pass catching standpoint is going to really elevate Drake May and to say one place for an offensive coach and a defensive coach. Josh McDaniels is running that offense. Mike Vrabel is running that defense and is the head coach. But he is deferring everything to McDaniels to run that system. And so I think that's, that's a plus for May. So if they weren't both going to be, if May was not going to run to the extent that I think he's going to, then yes, it would be closer. And I would not have as much optimism for Drake May, but I think the addition of Stefan Diggs, the addition of Kyle Williams, the addition of Travion Henderson, the addition of Josh McDaniels I think far outweighs what Bryce Young got this off season even looking at the way that he played at the end of last year and I think the Patriots are going to be one of the biggest surprise teams of the of the season.
Jamie
I I like Jamie's take on that and I share optimism on the Drake May front but I'll take a little bit of a different opinion on this because I do think it does bring to the surface how underrated Bryce Young is this draft season because if you look at and Jacob and I did the quarterback tier ranking so it forced me to kind of watch a lot of tape of these quarterbacks and look into things a little more in depth. If you look at that second half with Young it was a lot better than people realize. Like first of all he was maneuvering in the pocket in a way similar like when you watch it on tape it had a little bit of Joe Burrow ask to him the way he manipul pockets got himself in and out between the tackles and around and at times he would run and the running did go up and I think that's going to be just part of his career moving forward. He's figured out a way to navigate the pocket but also the anticipation and his accuracy numbers on the 20 plus and the 10 to 19 he just became a much better quarterback. Now you add McMillan to that mix. Year two in Dave Canal system I think Bryce Young is a very underrated fantasy play for this season. So I think ultimately you may is the one where we're all kind of hyped about him so we've seen our ourselves kind of move him up the rankings. Young still sits and falls deep into drafts, especially these two quarterback super flex drafts to a point where I think.
Adam
He'S a super value I yeah I right. I haven't found any cause to draft Bryce Young in a 1 QB league but man in those last 10 starts after he got the job back he was on pace for 375 rushing yards which is a lot. I wouldn't really expect that. Or 379. I sold them short. I wouldn't expect I am expecting 379 is a lot. That's a lot. But maybe he could get you 300. Maybe he can be like Mahomes in that regard. So that's actually pretty interesting. With Bryce Young definitely in those super flex leagues. Take take notice.
Heath
All right, this one got some bad news. Hopefully not awful news. Oh no. Malik Neighbors was slow to get up after getting tangled on a running play. He went to the sideline and stayed there before walking inside the field house with head trainer Ronnie Barnes. That's from Art Stapleton, who covers the team for North Jersey and USA Today.
Adam
All right, we'll keep an eye on it.
Jamie
All right, great. That was not what I wanted to hear in the middle of the show.
Heath
No, no, no, no.
Adam
The Big Blue Banter podcast just.
Jamie
Just lost when he said that, Jamie, I was like, just don't be any. Be anyone but the Giants. Be anyone about anyone but the Giants. And it's like Malik Neighbors, the most important player on your team.
Heath
Well, July 20th, he actually was. He was with K. Adams yesterday and he said he's not opposed to leading the NFL in targets and said he may have gotten there last year if he had not missed the two games.
Adam
He's not opposed to leading the NFL in targets.
Heath
Well, I don't know the best way to frame it.
Adam
Yeah, no, he's going to get a lot of targets. All right. From Jake. I have noticed that it's the third or fourth year in a row that we have a wide receiver who closes out the prior year as the top receiver and is the automatic consensus number one across the board only to disappoint or at least not live up to the hype. I know Chase is amazing and you can't go wrong with him or the others, but I think there will be another receiver that will be number one. If that's the case, who do you think will or has the potential to take this top spot, including the previous consensus number ones? Who do you guys think could take that number one wide receiver spot?
Jamie
I think there are a lot of options. I went over on a show last week or week, two weeks before that CD Lamb to me, I'm toying with the idea of just putting him wide receiver one. We've had a lot like. Like the listener mentioned, we've had a lot of times it didn't carry over. So he's one who just dominated targets with Dak, dominated receptions with Dak, dominated touchdowns and dominated yards with Dak and Dax back. That one's easy to me. Neighbors is another one to me. Just given the difference. The unrealized air yards last year for neighbors, fourth most in the NFL, and Russell Wilson completing almost 50 of his 20 plus yard air throws last year. One of the more efficient air yard deep throwers in the NFL. It's a match made in heaven and they've been connecting. Half of Russell Wilson's target so far in camp have gone to neighbors. So that target thing is real. Like we're looking at maybe 160170 he's another one that comes to mind Brian Thomas, a player who is going to benefit from Liam Cohen using him on more slant routes and in breaking routes. He's going to get that reception totals up. He's going to be another player who could be dominant for fantasy football purposes. All of those players are in the short list for me. Nico Collins is another one that I think I would consider for that and obviously you can never rule out Justin Jefferson.
Adam
Yeah, I don't, I don't think Amon Ross St. Brown could finish his wide receiver one personally either and I don't anybody drafted after that. I don't think A.J. brown can do it. The only one drafted after that that I could see doing it is Tyreek Hill.
Jamie
Oh that's a good one.
Heath
I like that. Drake London if Penix is referred is legit and the touchdown spike I don't.
Adam
Agree with you on Neighbors. I actually went back yesterday. I don't think I said this Research on the air since 2016 so I looked at the last nine seasons and the wide receivers who finished top five per game with a minimum of eight games in full PPR and if we just want to look at who finished number one this is where their offense is ranked in scoring since 2016. Number one wide receiver in PPR per game where their offense is ranked in scoring. 9th, 5th, 15th. That was Devonte Adams in 2018. In 2018, 3rd, 1st, 5th, 26th, 4th and 8th. So over the last nine years there's only been one wide receiver who's been on a bad offense or an offense ranked lower than 15th in scoring that's finished as wide receiver one per game. It was Cooper cup in nine games in 2022. So I do think you need to be on a better offense. Maybe. Maybe Malik Neighbors is just going to be so good that he will elevate their offense to the top 15. However I brought this up to you before and I don't want you to forget it Dan. That completion percentage on 20 plus air yard throws that you keep citing for Russell Wilson, second highest of his career. Okay it was 46.7%. Where was it the previous four years? 34.4% 37.8% 36.3% 32.3% it just.
Jamie
I don't see that would still be better than anything Daniel Jones gave him.
Adam
Agreed, agreed. But it's, you know, I don't know, just.
Jamie
A big jump in quarterback play.
Adam
It's not that good though.
Jamie
Hard to understate. It's hard to Overstate how bad Daniel Jones was on tape, as was Drew Locke.
Heath
Look, there's also the, the unknown of maybe Jackson Dart is going to be great. And, and that's the hope, you know, for. Huh?
Adam
I'd be stunned if he's great this year.
Heath
Well, I mean, it's, it's a hard buy, but I think the best thing that could happen to this team for everything, Russell Wilson, league neighbors. If this offensive line stays healthy, it's going to surprise a lot of people, you know, so if they can keep the tackles on the field and 100, they'll protect Wilson enough that he'll be able to hit some of these throws downfield. And then maybe Dark comes in at some point and, and opens up everything if he's, if he's that good. But I think the, and this is where I think we, we kind of trip up a little bit. Adam sometimes is. I don't think neighbors may get their points per game, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's the total point leader at the position because of how much volume he's going to get.
Adam
I love Mali Neighbors. It really sucks that I have to keep arguing against him. I just. With these elite options in round one. He just, he scares me the most, especially with that toe injury.
Jamie
That's an update on what happened today. He walked off the field with trainers Ronnie Barnes, who's the head trainer for the Giants, went in the building, met with him, came back out to Dable and Shane and, and the beat reporter says it looks like he's pointing toward his shoulder. So apparently it's a shoulder injury for neighbors. Hopefully not a broken clavica. Anything like serious.
Heath
All right, if he walked out to what, Barnes that walked out or neighbors walked out?
Jamie
Barnes walked out. Neighbors is done for the day.
Adam
All right. This is from Doug. Actually, Douglas, I'm sorry, I was going to try to read this email yesterday when Dave was on the show, but said how big of a difference on the trade chart should constitute a veto worthy trade. And I, I don't have an answer for you. I was gonna let Dave handle that. I'm sorry about that. This is from Adam Plank and he says he's from the most boring town I've lived in, which was to him, southern Missouri, very boring. He says hi, Plo, Faramir, Remus and Bruce.
Jamie
No idea.
Adam
Is PLO from Star wars or am I saying that wrong shot?
Jamie
Maybe.
Adam
I don't know because he is his favorite character from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and his favorite superhero it looks like plo.
Jamie
I'm sure I've heard of any of those people.
Adam
I've heard of Faramir. How do you change your drill? What's that? PLO Looks that way. Could be an eye.
Heath
Well, PO was like the one of the main characters in the final three.
Adam
I copied and pasted it looks. Certainly looks like a plo.
Jamie
I don't know plo I know is.
Adam
Okay. How do you change your draft strategy for deep drafts? Specifically guillotine drafts. I'm in two guillotine leagues. 18 teams and 32 teams.
Heath
I mean I've done one every year for like the last five years. And the, the teams that have lasted the longest for me have been the ones where you look at. This is where I, I look at schedule the most early season schedule and trying to avoid injury prone guys if you can, you know, so not taking a lot of risk, I guess would be the, the, you know, when you're debating, let's say Neighbors or Puka vs. Amanra St. Brown, like I would go St. Brown early because what you find is the waiver wire is so much different in guillotine leagues because of when a team gets eliminated, all of their players become available to you. So it's not like you're picking up four spring running backs. You have a chance to maybe get a CD Lamb or Justin Jefferson and one of those elite receivers or whatever position you may be looking at. So I always look at like, this is not a, a league where you have to win the week. This is a league where you just want to not finish last. So I try to, as. As best I can, sort of navigate the middle until you get to like the middle of the season. And then you start to spend your fab where, where it matters, where you're finding some holes and eventually you want to save for the end that you can, you know, sort of control the board because then you get to, you know, basically have your. It. It's like, it's like playing daily fantasy leagues. You just get whoever you want for whatever price you want.
Jamie
Big thing for me is the opposite. I'm not a big waiter. I, I like the idea, obviously, in a perfect world of waiting. So I can do what you just said, Jamie, but I like to spend early, get my team winning early and not take the chance of having a off week. Personally, I also prioritize quarterbacks in these drafts. Big time. I draft a quarterback in the first few rounds because I'm looking for guaranteed points. That's to me, is the most Important thing, less so, trying to get value based drafting picks and things like that. I can wait on quarterback. No, I want somebody who's going to score points for me right away. And that's the quarterback position.
Adam
Yeah.
Heath
The problem with that though is just it's one guy specifically like the Mahomes purchase or draft has hurt a lot of people because of how he struggled.
Adam
But isn't that the truth with every bust at any position?
Heath
Right, but he goes early is what the last two years he goes early at that position, you know, so if you're going to buy into that position, you think you got to make sure that it's going to be somebody's going to get you guaranteed production, you know, so draft Lamar, draft Alan early and then don't worry about it.
Adam
All right. By the way, Plo Koon was a force sensitive Kel Dor Jedi Master who served as a noble member of the Jedi High Council during the last years of the Galactic Republic. According to Star Wars.
Jamie
Favorite character.
Adam
I guess.
Heath
So when you're into Star wars or.
Jamie
No, I know, I'm totally kidding. And I'm a narrative.
Heath
They go down the rabbit hole. I couldn't do.
Jamie
I totally.
Adam
Unbelievable. Dan, just go put some ice cold peanut butter on your sandwich.
Jamie
Was a joke. And by the way, the peanut butter is great. Out of the fridge. Just had some last night.
Adam
This is from Blaze. Not a question, but a comment on something.
Jamie
I have one thing to say by the way, about that peanut butter. Quick thing. I saw the comments the other day. People like, oh, Dan, you're. You're not accomplishing anything by getting the organic peanut butter. Listen, it's not about the fact that it's organic. It's the fact that when you look on the back of the peanut butter jar, there's two ingredients, salt and the organic Valencia peanuts, all these jiffies and that. That's when you're looking at 17 different ingredients. Just need two ingredients. It's peanut butter, it's simple and it's definitely healthier for you when there's 2 versus 17 ingredients. Rant over, Go back to this, by the way.
Adam
So member of my tennis team, I did not know, listens to the podcast and he sent me a picture kind of randomly of his peanut butter jar in the fridge.
Jamie
There we go. I'm not the only one.
Adam
Peanut butter is good cold.
Jamie
It really is.
Adam
All right, this is from Blaze.
Jamie
Now go on.
Adam
Sorry, Blaze says not a question, but a comment on something I find myself doing. You do a bunch of mock drafts in the offseason and you trick yourself into thinking certain guys will be there at certain spots. Even if it's a range of four to five players, you expect to take one of them. There's always spots where it doesn't happen in the real draft. So when you're doing mocks, draft different players, mix it up. You need to see how the board shakes out in a variety of ways when you give different input because that's what will happen in real life. And I would just. Yeah, I think we agree, just be experimental in mock drafts. Not all of them, but definitely don't just fall into the same habits because if something goes awry on draft day, you want to be able to prepare for it.
Heath
And finally, I do think just in regards to that, like you're now finding out with a lot of your leagues where your draft spot is.
Adam
Yeah.
Heath
So do 10 different mock drafts and do 10 different things.
Adam
Okay, here we go. From Niall from Connecticut has all of the Ninja Turtle comps for us. Leonardo Leonardo is Adam. Adam is running the show. He is the leader trying to keep everyone in line and moving smoothly, doing the right thing. I say trying because even the Ninja Turtles find Leo to be a pain in the butt often. And that rings true with Adam. Raphael is Jamie, more the early cartoon Raphael and not film Raphael as we don't see the anger issues that come with that version of. That's good point. Jamie is second in command when Adam is out. Jamie typically is leading the show with cartoon Raphael. He always had one liners or snarky comments and a lot of them at Leonardo. Jamie is very quick witted and hits Adam with a lot of great lines. Donatello is Heath. Heath is much like Donatello who is the super smart turtle also making inventions. Heath is in the lab perfecting projections as well as inventing a spin off Dynasty show. Michelangelo is Dave, the party dude wants nothing more than to have some fun, eat some pies and go on cheapskate. Go on his cheapskate. The easiest comp there is. I like that. I think that's pretty true. Casey Jones is Dan. He's not there every day, but he's an athletic, sarcastic fan favorite. His hockey stick is a tennis racket. His hockey mask is his toilet, sitting, looking, setting up, set up on a zoom call. And Splinter is Jacob because that voice is eerily similar. And Mondo Gecko, who I have no idea who that is, is Chris Towers, friend of the turtles, contributor to the show. And Shredder is Ben Gretsch because if he can rhyme catch With Gretch. Then I can rhyme Shred with Gretch. Very good, Niall from Connecticut. Thank you very much.
Heath
Shredder is Thomas.
Adam
Shredder's Thomas? Why? He's our bad guy.
Heath
No splinters.
Adam
Yeah. All right. Fantasy Jeopardy time. Here we go. Quarterbacks pass catchers and famous Danzer Daniels for 200. 400 and 600. And I'm just going to give Jamie the board. Jamie, what do you want?
Heath
Oh, Dan for 200.
Adam
All right. He drinks your milkshake.
Jamie
Oh, so easy.
Heath
Jamie, who is Daniel?
Jamie
Said my name. After that. What the heck? I thought once he calls it, he calls it.
Adam
Okay. You've seen Jeopardy. Right?
Jamie
Not really. Not much.
Adam
Oh, my gosh. Yes. You have to buzz in. It's not just his to answer. Points to jb.
Jamie
Such an easy one.
Adam
Board's but still yours.
Heath
Dance for 400.
Jamie
Wait, wait, no, he didn't answer that yet.
Adam
Yes, he did. What'd you say?
Heath
Daniel Day Lewis.
Jamie
Yeah, you got it.
Adam
What?
Jamie
That is Daniel Day Lewis.
Adam
Who is Daniel?
Heath
I said who is there?
Adam
Okay, okay, okay.
Jamie
Wow. He's gonna get technical on us.
Adam
Yes. I'm sorry. I'm gonna play the game.
Jamie
Do they not get it right if they mess up and say who is correct? Wow.
Adam
Okay. Famous Dan's or Daniels for 400? A famous quarterback and broadcaster, but not Marino.
Jamie
Dan.
Adam
Dan.
Jamie
Dan who? Who is Dan Fouts.
Adam
We'll give it to you. Yep. Okay. Board is yours.
Heath
Been another one, too.
Adam
Who?
Jamie
Famous Dan and Daniels for 600. Who's the other one?
Heath
You said quarterback or player?
Adam
Quarterback.
Jamie
Quarterback.
Heath
Oh, sorry. No, never mind.
Adam
We've seen this famous Dan in many great comedies, but his only Oscar nomination was at Best Supporting Actor in Driving Miss Daisy.
Jamie
Never seen it. Yeah.
Adam
I had no idea that Dan Aykroyd was in Driving Miss Daisy.
Heath
Oh, wow. Yeah.
Jamie
Dan Aykroyd. Lieutenant. No, no. Who's Dan Aykroyd again?
Adam
He's. He's. He's Ray in Ghostbusters. Yeah, it's Gary Sinise. Oh.
Jamie
He's red in. In.
Adam
In Ray in Ghostbusters.
Jamie
Never seen it.
Adam
You ever seen My Girl?
Jamie
Never seen my Girl? Never seen. Go Busters. Go on.
Heath
Go Busters.
Adam
He's in Blues Brothers. He's in Trading Places.
Heath
Driving Miss Daisy for Dan Aykroyd.
Jamie
I mean, that's terrible.
Adam
No, I'm just saying that that was his only Oscar nomination.
Heath
You could have gone Coneheads. You could have gone SNL.
Adam
It was for 600. Yeah, he used Beldar Conehead.
Jamie
Let's move on.
Adam
You have Never seen a single Dan Aykroyd movie. That is disgraceful.
Jamie
It's crazy. I somehow haven't.
Adam
All right, the board is yours. Quarterbacks or pass catch?
Heath
I don't know. He was good in Go Busters, though.
Adam
Go buster.
Jamie
Quarterbacks for 200.
Heath
I saw the sequel Dustbusters.
Adam
One of my favorite Arrested Development lines. By the way, about Dustbusters, he led the NFL in yards per attempt last year.
Heath
Last year. Jamie.
Adam
Jamie.
Jamie
Oh, I. I know this.
Heath
Who is Joe Burrow?
Jamie
Dan?
Adam
Yeah.
Jamie
Who is Anthony Richardson?
Adam
That can't be right. It's. Who is Lamar Jackson?
Jamie
Oh, wow.
Adam
I mean, Richardson I don't think was qualified, but, like, he could not have possibly led the NFL in your sp.
Jamie
All he did was throw bombs.
Adam
All right, let's stick with quarterbacks for 400. Only Caleb Williams was sacked more than this quarterback in 2024.
Jamie
Dan.
Adam
Dan.
Jamie
Who is Joe Burrow?
Adam
He was up there.
Heath
I thought I saw this the other day.
Jamie
Buzz him out. It's taking too long.
Adam
Who is C.J. stroud?
Jamie
Yeah, that makes sense.
Adam
Quarterbacks for 600. This now backup quarterback had the lowest off target rate, which is good. In the NFL in 2024. According to True media, this now backup quarterback had the lowest off target rate last year.
Heath
So he was a starter last year.
Adam
That's how I would deal with that, Dan.
Jamie
Who's Andy Dalton?
Adam
Good guess.
Heath
Who is Kirk Cousins?
Adam
Hey, nice one.
Jamie
Nice. Nice one. That was nice.
Adam
If Kirk Cousins ever gets a starting job this year, I'm going to tell you why. He wasn't nearly as bad as you think.
Jamie
He wasn't as bad as people think. I agree with that.
Heath
Oh, until the injury.
Adam
Until the injury, Exactly. He played with shoulder injury the last three games of the season. He was dreadful his last three games. All right, pass Catchers for 2, 4 and 600. Jamie. Well, whatever. Here we go. Only Jamar Chase caught more passes than this stud wide receiver. And who is. Nope. Who is Amanra St. Brown.
Heath
He caught more passes than.
Adam
Only Jamar Chase caught more passes than. I'm on Ross St. Oh, then I'm. Yeah, for 400. This wide receiver. Sorry. This wide receiver caught all eight of his green zone targets and turned those into seven touchdowns. And that is eight for eight in green zone targets. Is unbelievable. And he had seven touchdowns. Yes. Stanford.
Jamie
Who is Drake London.
Adam
Great guest.
Heath
He only had seven touchdowns.
Adam
No, he had seven touchdowns on eight green zone targets. He had more.
Heath
Jamie T. Higgins. Who is T. Higgins?
Adam
Another good guess. Who is Terry McLaurin? Yeah, that some of this touchdown stuff with Terry McClure and so not repeatable.
Jamie
It is scary. Yeah.
Adam
All right. Pass catchers for 600. He was. This is funny because this is actually inspired by that email I read earlier. He was the last wide receiver to Finish as wide receiver 1 overall in PPR in consecutive seasons.
Jamie
Dan.
Adam
Dan.
Jamie
Who is Cooper cup per game?
Adam
Yes. Not overall.
Jamie
Oh, great. That's. That's a good guess. And I don't even get any credit for it overall if I azer stat my way. That's a right answer.
Heath
Who is Antonio Brown?
Adam
DeAndre Hopkins 2017-2018. That's the last time a wide receiver has finished number one overall in consecutive seasons. Now, one last thing here we got the fantasy cops. We got some good ones. This one's from Edison. Says I have a dilemma. I quit my league after 13 years and I gave up my commissioner rights. And I will be honest, I care for this league the most, especially for the draft party and seeing childhood friends. The thing is that they kept voting on my trades. Last year my fourth best wide receiver, Jameson Williams for someone's fourth best running back, Tony Pollard, got vetoed. The amount of crying and collusion to vote on my trade was ridiculous. And it's like this every year. Most people only vote on my trades, so I don't win. Everyone's trades go through without a comment even when they are bad trades. For example, Mahomes for Jonathan Taylor two years ago. Devonte Adams for Kittle last year. That wasn't a bad trade. When I trade, you will literally see over 200 messages in the morning and reminders for everyone to vote on my trade. I. I got tired of it. Since this is an ongoing thing every year everyone wants me back. But I will leave it up to the majority here. Should I come back? Your comments and votes will be appreciated. Votes over 50% will win the outcome for me to return. All right, what are we saying? Does this guy go back into the league that keeps vetoing his trades and pretty much only his trades?
Heath
And he's the commissioner, right?
Adam
He was. I don't think he's going to be this time, but he was.
Heath
I mean, it sounds like he wants to go back. Why else would you spend the time to write us and like he, he wants to go back. Yes, go back.
Jamie
Go back to the league. But you know, you've set this awful precedent in your league where the league is allowed to vote down trades. That's just something that just can't be in fantasy football anymore. It's just terrible way to play this game. No vetoes unless there's proven collusion is the way to play fantasy football. And as I've said before, if it leads to a situation where you have a league where people are making horrible trades, the only real option is to just kick out the bad players. They're not fit to play in that league. It depends what you want. If you want a competitive league. Yes. Stand by this, Adam.
Adam
You are back in the league. Congratulations. This is from Case. Scott, my league needs your help. 12 Team Dynasty League in the worst possible. Worst possible situation has occurred. We had to remove a manager for not making their buy in payment and ghosting the commissioner. Now the team is orphaned, but we have found a new manager for the team. The problem is that this team is now a shell of its former self and is missing its 2026 and 2027 first round picks. I am trying to say that the new manager should not have to pay for their first year in the league. Another suggestion was to give them 113 as a draft pick in the first year. We're leaving this matter up to the professionals. Please help Fantasy cops. Thanks for what you guys do in the community you have built. I listen every day and love the show. Thank you so much. You're a part of the community big time. All right, so this is a. An orphan team with no first, which not good. And has no first round picks in 2026 or 2027. I almost think no, no league fee for the first year is not enough. I would say maybe for the first two years. What do you guys think? I think suggestions.
Jamie
No league fee for sure. And then I like the idea of 113 in the first two years, both years, giving him back his first round picks. Because the assumption here is not only does he not have those first round picks, but he doesn't have any good players to show for it. So this is almost an impossible situation given dynasty. When you look, there's times when you have your first round picks, you still can't rebuild fast. And dynasty. So I would give 113 in each of the next few seasons and no buy in for the first year.
Adam
And no buy in for just one year.
Jamie
Just one year.
Adam
Okay. Jamie, your thoughts?
Heath
I mean, I. So they have somebody filling the spot. Yeah. With the understanding of what it is.
Adam
Yeah.
Heath
I don't know. I mean, I think that's the challenge of it. Right?
Jamie
No, it's too much though. It's too much. The team's buried. He has nothing to show for it. And no picks for the next few years.
Heath
And there. So there's no. It's. It's just picking up a team. Right. It's not adding a team. Correct. It's not like expansion draft.
Adam
No.
Heath
I don't know. I mean, I don't like the idea of waiving the fees because I think that creates too much headache.
Adam
All right, so then what do we just did pick 113 for the first two years?
Heath
I don't. I mean, if you're taking the team, you're taking with the understanding of you got to rebuild the thing.
Adam
All right, You've heard some different. Jamie has no sympathy for this new manager. You've heard some different takes there. I'm sorry we weren't more helpful.
Heath
I mean, unless it's been like, you know, a struggle to get somebody to do it. And like you're. You're begging somebody with the idea of, okay, we'll help you in some way, shape or form. Like, I don't. I don't really love the idea of that. I think maybe it's. You give. You give everybody almost like an expansion draft. You know, you take the three worst players on everybody's roster and you give the guy the opportunity to take from that player pool or something to that degree.
Adam
All right, there's some ideas for you. Thank you so much, by the way.
Heath
Like changing the draft or changing the. The buy ins.

Podcast Summary: Fantasy Football Today – "Camp Risers, Potential WR1s, Fun and Games!" (Released July 29, 2025)
Hosted by Adam Aizer and featuring analysts Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg, Heath Cummings, and Dan, Fantasy Football Today delves deep into strategies, player analyses, and engaging fan interactions to help listeners dominate their fantasy leagues.
The episode kicks off with a comprehensive analysis of two emerging running backs: Tank Bigsby of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Travis Etienne (ETN) of the Carolina Panthers. The hosts discuss their roles in their respective teams’ offenses and their potential impact on fantasy football rankings.
Heath Cummings (04:39): "Bigsby is somebody that I think he's definitely been a riser for me in my rankings." He highlights Bigsby's integral role in the run game and his increasing usage, potentially overtaking ETN in average draft positions (ADP) within a few weeks.
Adam Aizer (07:06): "They both were actually pretty horrible in terms of yards per carry in that stretch." He weighs the pros and cons of drafting Bigsby over ETN, especially in full PPR leagues where ETN's involvement in the passing game might make him a safer pick.
Jamey Eisenberg (07:55): Emphasizes Bigsby's capabilities in the passing game and his reliability in the red zone, making him a valuable asset in various scoring formats.
The consensus leans towards Bigsby climbing in rankings due to his increased workload and potential offensive schemes favoring his involvement.
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to quarterback performance and projections, focusing on Baker Mayfield and Bryce Young.
Adam Aizer (09:28): Introduces a "Cool Stat" segment analyzing quarterbacks who had impressive fantasy performances but struggled the following season. He notes that of 30 QBs averaging 26+ fantasy points per game over the last decade, only seven dipped below 22 the next year, offering a silver lining for consistent performers.
Heath Cummings (12:04): "I think his ADP is pretty good. I think if you get Baker Mayfield in the seventh round, you're giving yourself a shot at his upside." Discusses Mayfield's potential upside despite concerns over his rushing capabilities and consistency.
Jamey Eisenberg (12:37): Highlights the value of Mayfield due to his dual-threat ability, suggesting that his rushing yards can provide significant fantasy points even if his passing numbers are inconsistent.
Adam Aizer (13:23): Raises the debate on whether elite quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes should still be considered essential early-round picks or if the market has shifted due to performance variability.
Discussion on Bryce Young (42:25 - 45:21): Both Heath and Jamey present differing perspectives on Bryce Young, with Jamey advocating for his underrated status based on his improved second-half performance and surrounding offensive talent. Heath, on the other hand, emphasizes the importance of surrounding support and coaching, believing that Drake May's additions to the Patriots' offense could sway rankings in Mayfield's favor.
The hosts evaluate emerging wide receivers who could challenge the status quo of top-ranked WRs in fantasy leagues.
Listener Mail from Jake (50:39): Discusses trends in top wide receiver performances, noting that most elite WR1s come from high-scoring offenses. Adam analyzes data from the past nine seasons, reinforcing the necessity of offensive strength for WR1 success.
Heath Cummings (46:53): Advocates for Malik Henry as a potential top receiver, citing his high target volume and efficient air yards, especially with Russell Wilson’s improved passing mechanics.
Jamey Eisenberg (46:53): Suggests several candidates, including CD Lamb, Malik Henry, and Nico Collins, who have shown consistent target growth and synergy with their quarterbacks.
Adam Aizer (48:10): Emphasizes the importance of offensive lines and quarterback protection in elevating WR performances, particularly highlighting the potential of Malik Henry despite recent injuries.
To add a fun twist, the podcast features interactive game segments among the hosts, fostering camaraderie and light-hearted competition.
