Adam
Hey.
Dave
Wow.
Adam
Welcome everybody. It's game show Wednesday here on Fantasy football Today. Not a lot of fantasy relevant stuff gonna be discussed, but we are gonna have some fun. Dave, Jamie Heath. Good morning everybody. Hello, Dave.
Dave
I just want to know if you're wearing the matching tuxedo pants with the tuxedo jacket, shirt and tie. Do you have a cummerbund on?
Adam
I don't, I didn't wear the vest. I have the bow tie. I was a little late because my wife got home like just in time to help me finish tying the bow tie. But yeah, I'm very uncomfortable. I also don't have cufflinks, so the shirt is a mess underneath this jacket. But I.
Jamie Heath
What the. What? The bottoms are stand up.
Adam
I just have sweatpants on.
Jamie Heath
No no, we got to see it stand up.
Adam
That's okay.
Dave
Jamie's asking to see your pants.
Adam
That's okay. But this is my wedding tux, which I still sort of fit in, so there we.
Jamie Heath
Oh, you can remember that tux, right?
Heath
Yeah, I heard all about it.
Adam
Anyway, we're getting, we're doing some games today.
Jamie Heath
That's where you are. Next to Nando walking down the aisle, right?
Adam
That's exactly right. Fantasy FootballBSI.com is our email address. Fantasy Football CBSI.com that's the letter. I. I should have asked you this before we started, but does anybody have any, Any fan. You know what? How about this? We've done some mock drafts. Just off the top of your head, give me a player that you find yourself drafting a lot. I'm only asking you this. I'm gonna give you time to think because we don't have a ton of fantasy analysis on today's show. So let's just give a little bit of that. Who's. Who's ready to tell me who they've been drafting a lot in our draft? Dave, go ahead.
Dave
Dak Prescott.
Adam
Okay. Why?
Dave
Love the value, love the opportunity cost of getting him with a mid round pick, maybe even like a little bit later. Because you know, in our drafts quarterbacks always go later on. But I love the receiving core. I still think Dallas is going to have to throw a lot. We know that. What is it? Three of his last five years he's been averaging around 24 fantasy points per game in six point. He just, he feels like an easy bargain that you can lock up in one QB leagues.
Adam
Who's next?
Heath
Sam laporta.
Adam
Okay. Why Heath
Heath
partially. He's been awesome since he came into the NFL. I think he is a top six tight end and he's the guy that always goes after the top six tight ends. I find him in round seven, I find him in round eight. While players that have fewer projected points for me get drafted in round four and five.
Adam
Okay, Jamie, you've had plenty of time to think.
Jamie Heath
I mean, since you went above and beyond. I'm gonna hopefully try and do the same. So I'll give you three. One is Christian Watson. Two is Marvin Harrison Jr. And three is a charger. So I find myself taking a charger in every draft because I'm just excited about Mike McDaniel being there and I think that the value on a lot of their players are. Is typically very good. So I take a charger in almost every draft. Christian Watson. I expect to have a big season if he stays healthy just because of the thinned out receiving core and what we saw from him last year. So they may have their actual number one wide receiver. And Marvin Harrison Jr. Just always falls to a spot where it feels like it's the right time to take him. Usually it's in that round six, seven range. No joke there. But I, I think just in the case of, of Harrison, you know, we saw a very, very small sample size of him with Jacoby Brissette and I think it would have been a, a great finish for him had he stayed healthy with Brissette. So hopefully Brissette is there and, and the starting quarterback for the majority of the season and we get to see a little bit of what Michael Wilson did for Marvin Harrison Jr. And I
Adam
glad you brought that up because I think 6, 7 is pretty much done right now.
Dave
Only the old heads are referring to it now. Like when my wife is a preschool teacher and when she starts coming home and doing the whole six, seven bit, that's when you know it's jump the shark. Yeah.
Adam
If anybody says it, it's almost ironic at this point. He's fft Dynasty. Give me a promo.
Heath
Yeah, we had a one man mailbag yesterday and people sent in some fantastic questions about the rookies, also about the veterans and about winning some Dynasty championships this year. Go check out the one man mailb from Tuesday.
Adam
We. And I bet you, I bet you some of the questions Heath read Tuesday are going to be read on today's show as well because we share an inbox, so we'll see. But anyway.
Heath
Well, you know, I mean, I. There's no way that you could have known that I would be answering the Dynasty questions that were in your inbox when I told you on Monday that we were doing a one man mailbank.
Adam
I do think it's okay to answer. To answer them on multiple shows, right? I think it's fine. I think get, get some other opinions on there. This is.
Jamie Heath
You share an inbox. Invitations can go back and forth.
Adam
What does that mean? Like for my wedding?
Dave
Yeah.
Adam
Okay, so today we have. I have four game shows planned. Two of them are old ones, two of them are new. That'd be new games for me to screw up.
Heath
Who has more game shows? Adam or the game show network or
Adam
cbs Forgot to do who has more. But let's do some news and notes real quick. Stefan Diggs, still unsigned. He was found not guilty of assaulting his private chef, the NFL and the NFL referee. Yeah. Well, it's good.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's gonna get signed now.
Adam
Yeah, I think it'll hopefully speed up the process. But he still could be disciplined by the NFL. But he was, he was found not guilty. The NFL and the referees are getting closer to an agreement. So right now it looks like we won't have replacement the replacement refs. The packers signed to Rod Taylor as their backup quarterback, but also they expect Tucker Kraft and Micah Parsons back early in the season. So that'd be great for Kraft and Parsons. Parsons towards ACL later in the year than Kraft. Kraft was week nine, I believe week ten somewhere around there.
Dave
So hold up a second. Does that mean that they might not participate in training camp and their, their return could be like week two or three. Maybe they don't start on the PUP list. But are we not getting it? Kind of makes me a little nervous. Who cares about Parsons unless you're in an IDP league and even then I guess it matters. But with, with Kraft, I don't want to take him too soon when I have to worry about him needing like a four week ramp up time just to get into football shape. And it might take him even longer with him coming back from the ACL injury. That makes me want to take Laporta for example, ahead of craft 10 times out of 10 on draft day.
Jamie Heath
Yeah, I'd be taking the port out of Craft already. But I think in the case of like Craft and Kittle for example, because there's sort of differing reports that came out on him as well. Like if you have IR spots and you could stash those two and even aside from that, if you have interest in some of these number two tight ends that maybe have some upsides, let's say it's a Kenyan Sadiq, for example. You know, I don't know if he's the ideal person you want to draft to start your season. But you know, if you're looking at, let's say what you did Adam in, in the last draft we did, we took Kittle and Travis Kelsey. So a little maybe uncertain about Kelsey. I'm not saying you but you know the, the market because he's tight end 12. I believe in fancy pros, ADP. You know, if you, if you look at that type of plan, you know you can easily execute it. If you can stash those guys on IR and then hope that by the end of the season they're playing like the cable plane.
Adam
Okay. And let's see Matt Ryan, who's now the president of football operations for the Falcons, he doesn't know if Michael Pennix Jr. Will be ready for the start of training camp. I don't think this is news. We kind of knew that, but worth repeating. The Seahawks signed edge Dante Fowler Jr. To a one year deal. And the Giants after trading Dexter Lawrence continue to sign veteran defensive tackles. They signed former lions defensive tackle D.J. reader to a two year deal. Now if you want to participate in a mock draft and help us out, build up our ADP on CBSSports.com Dave is doing a really cool thing. Our only fans mock drafts. This is only for fans. No, we're not in them. Dave, tell us about how to get in these, these drafts.
Dave
You have to go old school. You got to email me. D. Richard cbs.com and you will be put on a list. And when you're up on the list, I will email you back and let you know when the next mock draft is that you can participate in. Our first one is this week. Our second and third ones will be next week. So I need some warm bodies and people who want to draft and start figuring out their best draft plans for fantasy this year. D. Richard, cbs.com drop me a line.
Adam
And with that said, let's get it started.
Dave
Is this the throwjack, by the way?
Adam
It sounds just like that, doesn't it?
Dave
Yeah,
Adam
it's a game show, Jack. Now it's completely different.
Dave
Now it's not.
Adam
First game show is an oldie but goodie. Name that player. Oh, all right. I'll give you guys some hints and you go ahead and name that player. I got three of them.
Heath
Do we have to say our name to guess? No.
Adam
So we just say that.
Heath
Yell the player's name out.
Adam
Yeah. Now, do you want to play where you only get one guess? If you get it wrong, you're out.
Dave
I don't know. The game show host should.
Heath
Seems like the host would.
Adam
Yeah. All right. Well, you know, listen, I screwed up all the time, so I figured I'd. I'd get.
Jamie Heath
I think you do it where we get one guess and if we don't guess it, then we get to guess again. Everybody gets at least one guess before you can guess twice.
Adam
Yeah, I like that. Okay. I love that. You're good at this.
Heath
You should be the host.
Adam
All right, here we go. Get your tuxedo out. If you want to be the host, name that player. I lead all wide receivers or tight ends in yak per catch over the last three seasons.
Heath
Heath.
Adam
Yeah.
Heath
Who is Tucker Craft? Wow.
Adam
Yeah, it's tucker craft. Wow. Wow. 9.1 yards after catch per reception. Also in eight games in 2025, I led my team in receiving yards and touchdowns despite having only two end zone targets and I was a third round pick in 2023. So there you go. It is Tucker Kraft. Well done. Also the last clue. Heath, do you think you would have gotten this many people prefer me to my arch rival? Arch rival Tucker Velveeta?
Heath
Yeah, I think, I think, I think I would have gotten that one.
Adam
Okay, so wait, wait.
Jamie Heath
Do you think that the guy who got it right before you finished your first clue would have got it right on your last.
Adam
See, Heath is more likely to get a yak clue than a Tucker Velveeta clue? I think. But, but yeah, he is the all
Jamie Heath
time name that player champion.
Adam
He's, he's pretty damn good at all the game shows anyway. Heath, anything you want to say about Tucker?
Jamie Heath
Crappy competition was Pete Prisco, but it is the all time winner.
Heath
My favorite, my favorite was when I would get messages from Dave during or after the show that he would have got. He, he was like playing along.
Dave
Yeah, I would have beat your ass.
Heath
Yeah, I would. I would have got that one just like he did right there. No, I think we just talked about Tucker Kraft. If he's healthy, then he is in the competition to be one of the top six tight ends. But it's, it's, it's difficult competition. There's a lot of guys who could be in that group.
Jamie Heath
A good.
Heath
If he's healthy, a good pick in round six, round seven, if he's not, then he's probably following round eight around nine.
Jamie Heath
So since we're, since we're talking trash about each other. So Adam, as. As a former host of Name that player, when I would do the Name that player, the guys for Name that player, I would not choose guys that we already talked about for news and notes and not have redundancy.
Heath
Yeah.
Jamie Heath
In the conversation.
Adam
So I did, I did name that. I did all the game show stuff last night and I, I did the news and notes this morning. So I did not know that Tucker Craft was gonna be.
Jamie Heath
Just leave it out in the news and notes and just talk about it when we bring it up.
Adam
I could.
Dave
You gotta stop talking, Jamie. Otherwise you're gonna end game show host moving forward.
Adam
Well, once more work. One thing I want to point out about Tucker Kraft is that he, he doesn't get produced in a conventional way. I mean, he is the best yak guy. He's a low eight out guy, but he's unbelievable with his yak and he had four touchdowns or. Yeah. Four touchdowns of 15 or more yards last year, which is really high. Trey McBride had five, and McBride and Kraft only played nine games. So I just want. He doesn't get that many targets. Right. He wasn't even on pace for 100 targets, as I recall.
Dave
He's George Kittle.
Adam
Yeah. But. But he's coming off a torn acl. Right. So that's what I'm saying is, is he's George Kittle. Yeah. Yeah. Right.
Jamie Heath
The case of, of what the packers are looking at is there's. There's a little bit of an unknown. Right. Because they've gotten rid of some guys and, you know, hopefully Kraft is healthy and we see a little bit of a different passing game.
Adam
Looks like we're getting more fantasy analysis than I bargained for. Excellent. All right, we have two more. Name that players. We're going to do them after this commercial break. So everybody put on your fancy clothes and join us after this for more game shows on fantasy football today. We'll be right back.
Heath
This is fantastic.
Adam
Kraft Yak and Cheese. That's great. Yeah, Fantastic team name in the chat. Good job. All right, next up, I haven't missed a game in five seasons. I've had less than 1,000 receiving yards in three of my last four seasons. My target per out run rate has decreased in four straight seasons and was only 15.3% in 2025. Other people with my first name include Tanner, Reader and LeMayhue. Who said it first?
Jamie Heath
Me.
Dave
I answered it in the form of a question.
Heath
Dave said, who is. I said, DJ Moore. Jamie said Jamie.
Adam
Only Heath got it right. Heath wins again. Jamie, you don't have to say your name.
Jamie Heath
Oh, we don't? Okay. I'm sorry. Well, he did.
Dave
I said, who is DJ Moore?
Adam
Yeah, but I knew the player. He's definitely said the answer first. It's funny.
Dave
I'm on the wrong game. I'll give this one up to. To Heath.
Adam
There's only. It's. You look at DJ Moore's stats. It's just. It's a lot of negatives. You know, he's 29. Like I said, three of his last four years, he hasn't even reached a thousand yards. The other year, of course, was a 1300 yard season target per hour. Run rate keeps decreasing. So, Dave, why should I have confidence in who is DJ Moore?
Dave
Because you look at the other receivers that will be made available to you when you get to that group of. And like wide receiver 20 through 40, because they're all kind of the same and at least in DJ Moore's case, and this is a change for me from where I was after the Bills acquired him. At least you can see a pathway to him seeing seven plus targets per game. I love the fact that Joe Brady has already worked with him before and that he totally trusts him. I love the fact that Josh Allen needs a number one wide receiver. I also have to admit that Buffalo did nothing else other than draft Skyler Bell to improve their receiving core this off season. And I don't know if that defense is going to be dominant moving forward either in Buffalo, which might mean more throwing more high scoring games. And DJ Moore just might be in the right place at the right time to earn a lot of targets. I'm not saying he's going to be more efficient with them. I'm just saying he's going to have more opportunities and that makes me more interested in dj what's his last name?
Adam
Okay, let's go to our last one. Heath is already locked up. Name that player. Good job. I was going to triple the points, but I thought that'd be mean here. So let's go to our last one. I have the most passing yards and touchdowns in the NFL over the last four seasons. And over that span, I am ninth in fantasy points per game.
Dave
Matthew Stafford, you're out.
Adam
I have scored more than 30 fantasy points in five of my last six fantasy playoff games. Jared Goff, oh my goodness, we could have tripled the points. It wouldn't even matter. Heath is on fire. I've been top 10 per game two straight seasons, but only Heath has me ranked in the top 15. And I have my third new offensive coordinator in the last three seasons. Jamie, real quick, why don't you have Jared Goff in your top 15? He's been top 10 two straight seasons.
Jamie Heath
It's a great year for quarterbacks. You know, I think golf is one of the best fallback options or guys maybe you want to pair with someone who you have maybe some uncertainty with or one of the running quarterbacks that are coming off injuries. Jane Daniels, for example, or Jackson Dart who missed some time last year. Look, golf, you know what you're getting. You know, we, we kind of had the same conversation. You, you alluded to this, that he's maybe the new Matthew Stafford, just a guy that's going to give you quality production as a passer, no production as a rusher. And if you just like that type of profile, obviously it's much different in six points for passing touchdowns as opposed to four. Jared Goff is Just safe. And so, you know, again, if you. If you want to avoid the, hey, maybe Trevor Lawrence does this again, or, hey, maybe Caleb Williams can, you know, ascend to new heights. Or, hey, this. Or, you know, whatever the case may be, Jared Goff is the perfect quarterback for you.
Adam
Okay, next game. It's a new one, folks. A new game. Very easy game. Here it's called. This is what it's called. In our 2025 fantasy football today draft, blank picked blank instead of blank. Was it A blank, B blank, or C blank? Okay, so that's kind of how it goes here. So for this one, Heath is not allowed to answer. So first one, what draft? In our. Okay, the game is called. In our 2020 fantasy football today draft, blank pick blank instead of blank. Was it A blank, B blank, or C blank? So in our 2025 fantasy football today draft, Heath picked blank instead of Jameer Gibbs.
Jamie Heath
So can there be multiple answers or only one?
Adam
No, this is who Heath drafted. Only one. I'm giving you three choices. You have to tell me who Heath took instead of Jameer Gibbs. Was it A, Justin Jefferson, B, Jamar Chase, or C, CD Lamb?
Jamie Heath
So all three were on the board.
Adam
They were all around there.
Dave
This is who he took in a
Adam
draft instead of Jameer Gibbs and Jamie and Dave.
Dave
Whoever answers first, I'll say that he took Lamb.
Jamie Heath
Jamar Chase.
Adam
Dave is correct. He took CD Lamb over Justin Jefferson. All right.
Dave
No, he took. Well, he also took over Gibbs.
Adam
Oh, yeah. Over Jimmy Gribs. Took over Jimmy Gibbs. Thank you. Okay, next up in our 2025 fantasy football today draft, Adam picked blank instead of Bucky Irving. And you all three can answer. Did I take Chase Brown? This is you bragging Devon Achan or Pukinakua? Who did I take over?
Dave
You took Chase Brown.
Adam
Davis's Chase Brown.
Jamie Heath
You took Devon Hin.
Heath
I. I'm gonna go with Dave. I'm gonna say Chase Brown.
Adam
Jamie is correct. I took Devon A. Chan. What a great draft pick, Adam. All right. One for Dave, one for Jamie. I guess you all can guess.
Dave
Hang on, hold on. You're gonna do the same thing this year, because we're all starting to get cold feet on a chan over Bucky Irving.
Adam
Hell, yeah.
Dave
Okay, okay. I'm just trying.
Adam
I'm not getting that cold fantasy conversation. He's just so good. Yeah.
Jamie Heath
When you were thinking of this wonderful game, how much NyQuil had you taken at this point?
Adam
Next up in our 2025 fantasy football today draft, Jamie or no. Thomas, Tom. And all three of you can Answer. Thomas picked blank instead of Josh Allen.
Jamie Heath
Joe Burrow.
Adam
A, Lamar Jackson, B, Brock Bowers, C, Joe Burrow. Jamie thinks it's burrowing, Dave.
Dave
I'll say Bowers.
Heath
I'm gonna go with Bowers.
Adam
It was Joe Burrow.
Jamie Heath
Yeah. He went on. On the Bengals. He had Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow.
Adam
Now I remember who told him to do that. That's ridiculous. All right, next up, Dave and Heath. You can answer this one. In our 2025 fantasy football today draft, Jamie picked blank instead of Zay Flowers. Which chief did he pick? A, Pacheco, B, Mahomes or C, Rasheed Rice?
Heath
I'll go with Rice.
Dave
I'll say Pacheco.
Adam
It was Pacheco. And it was done completely out of spite because I was on deck. Isn't that right, Jamie? Did you learn a lesson? You took him just to piss me off.
Jamie Heath
I did, but it was worth it just for the reaction at the time.
Adam
It was great. It was a great moment. All right, last one. Jamie and Dave. Or Jamie and Heath can answer this one. In our 2025 fantasy football today draft, Dave picked blank instead of Keenan Allen. Was it A, Kia Coleman or C, Luther Burden?
Dave
Heath.
Adam
You said Coleman.
Heath
I did.
Jamie Heath
I'm gonna say Rashid because I think I had Coleman in that league.
Dave
Yeah. Yeah. There were a couple of drafts where you took Coleman.
Heath
Yep.
Adam
JB with the spite pick on Colby, it was Rashid Shahid. Good job. I think J. Did Jamie win that round? I'm giving it to Jamie. Well done, Jamie. All right.
Heath
It wasn't me.
Adam
That was our second. That was our second game. What'd you guys think?
Jamie Heath
I got three of those.
Adam
Yeah. Yeah. What'd you guys think of that game? Was it fun?
Heath
It was the worst game you've ever come up with. You had me pining for who has more.
Jamie Heath
What did you spend more time on thinking of that game or what's aware today?
Adam
I didn't think about putting this tuxedo on until 9:58am and we're supposed to.
Jamie Heath
Oh, that's why we were late.
Adam
Yeah.
Dave
Adam thought that game was blank, but he thought that game was blank.
Adam
All right, here's a new game. Let me tell you the how this game came about. I was thinking, how many of the NFL teams could I go through and name who led them in receiving last year? And then I was like, what if I wanted to stump someone? What would be the hardest one? Say, hey, tell me, who led this team in receiving? I thought about it and I said, let's make a game show out of it. So this game is. Who led his team in receiving in 2025? He.
Jamie Heath
He. What was the time when we thought that. Or maybe it was Dan, that we thought that Adam could name all the head coaches in the league?
Adam
Oh, that was a year ago.
Dave
He could definitely name every head coach in the league. I'd be shocked if he couldn't name one.
Heath
Well, it depends. Are we doing it live on the air and he has a clock? Because I think the answer is probably no.
Adam
Yeah, I actually really stumbled last month. I was talking football with somebody I couldn't remember. Jesse Minter. I was like, who did. The Ravens High cannot remember. So I would. I would draw a blank on someone. All right, here we go. Who led his team in rece receiving? And we're going to go. Dave, Jamie Heath for the first one, and we're just going to change the order. But Dave, Jamie Heath, who led his team in receiving? The New York Jets.
Heath
Receiving yards.
Adam
Yeah. Receiving yards.
Dave
Right.
Adam
Okay, Dave, Jamie Heath on this one. Who led the jets in receiving?
Dave
I'll say Mitchell
Jamie Heath
Mason. Taylor.
Heath
Mason Taylor.
Adam
You are all wrong. It was Garrett Wilson. This is fun. Yeah, not by much. All right, next is Jamie Heath. Dave, who led the Green Bay packers in receiving?
Jamie Heath
Romeo Dobbs.
Dave
Christian Watson.
Adam
No, Heath, you're next.
Heath
I'll go Romeo Dubs.
Jamie Heath
Dave.
Adam
You say Watson.
Dave
Yeah, Jamie.
Adam
And he's correct. It was romeo Dobbs with 724.
Dave
I'm too busy looking up the Jets. I don't believe you. That. That Garrett Wilson.
Adam
Okay, next up is Heath. Dave. Jamie. Who led the Los Angeles Chargers in receiving?
Jamie Heath
Heath.
Adam
Dave.
Heath
Quinton Johnston.
Adam
Quentin Johnston. Dave.
Dave
I will. I will say Quentin Johnston.
Jamie Heath
Keenan Allen.
Adam
It was Lad McConkey. He had 12 more yards than Keenan Allen. 54 more yards than Quentin Johnston.
Dave
So the problem with Mitchell is he also had yardage with the Colts, and I guess we're just not counting that.
Adam
Yeah, of course.
Dave
It's only with his team. Okay, fine.
Adam
All right, Dave, Jamie Heath again, who led the Jacksonville Jaguars in receiving. Dave, Jamie Heath.
Dave
Parker Washington.
Jamie Heath
Parker Washington.
Heath
Brian Thomas Jr.
Adam
It is Parker, Washington, David and Jamie. So right now I've got two for Jamie, one for Dave, one for Heath. All right, Is Jamie Heath. Dave, on this one, who.
Dave
I feel like this is. Like there's a little bit of pressure luck to this.
Adam
I don't know. Press your luck. Oh, God. How do you play?
Dave
How are you a game show host and you don't know pressure luck?
Heath
Does that mean not 50 before today, Dave, you'd never Heard of who drafted who over who?
Dave
Yeah, it's true.
Jamie Heath
You also. You also, you know, despite all of your winnings, couldn't get Flamingo, so.
Adam
Yeah, that's true.
Dave
At least I got the winnings.
Adam
You butchered the name of that game, by the way. You forgot the multiple choice part of it. All right, so it's Jamie Heath. Dave. Who led the Las Vegas Raiders in receiving?
Jamie Heath
Brock Bowers.
Adam
Heath.
Heath
I will also say Brock Bowers.
Jamie Heath
I will, too.
Adam
You are all wrong. It was Trey Tucker. 16 more yards than Brock,
Jamie Heath
though, so you lose.
Adam
Heath. Dave. Jamie. Who led the Chicago Bears in receiving?
Heath
Good grief.
Adam
This is terrible.
Heath
DJ Moore.
Adam
Dave.
Dave
I. I'm next. Yeah, I'll say a Dunesay.
Jamie Heath
DJ more.
Adam
It was Colson Loveland. 31 more than 31 more yards of DJ more. 52 more than Odunze. 61 more than Luther.
Jamie Heath
That really goes to show how bad DJ Moore was that he did not miss a game. And Colston Loveland missed about three.
Adam
Yeah, yeah, I know. And we have last one. Dave, Jamie Heath. Right now, Jamie's in the lead. So Dave and Heath, you need to get this right. Who led the Indianapolis Colts in receiving?
Dave
Alec Pierce.
Adam
Jamie.
Jamie Heath
Oh, Michael Pittman.
Heath
Alec Pierce.
Adam
Oh, Jamie, you totally choked. It was Alec Pierce. And now we have a three way tie. I got to do one more team here. See?
Dave
Do you have a tiebreaker question ready?
Adam
Not really.
Dave
Yeah. Bad game show hosts.
Jamie Heath
So you did an even number of questions and didn't have a tiebreaker. Got it.
Adam
How about, is there another team that's close here who led?
Dave
I know a team that would be perfect for this.
Adam
Who?
Dave
The Giants.
Adam
That's so easy.
Dave
Okay, fine. Well, at least I brought a tiebreaker to the table instead of standing here with my blank in my hand.
Adam
Okay.
Dave
All dressed up and nothing to show for it.
Adam
No, this isn't good either. All right, you know what? I'll just give you guys a tie. Congratulations.
Jamie Heath
All right.
Adam
All right. We've got one more. We've got one more game right now. Keith has two wins if we give him the tie. Jamie has two. No. Yeah. Jamie has two and Dave is one. Our last game is Fantasy Jeopardy. Can't screw this up. Oh, I find new ways every time. We have three categories.
Jamie Heath
Are we saying the answers? Are we saying our name?
Dave
Yeah. Yeah.
Adam
You have to see. You have to buzz in with your name, okay? And then say the in the form of a question. So help me, if you do not do it in the form of a question, I'll kick you out of the Show.
Dave
Oh, that's great.
Jamie Heath
We get to get kicked out.
Dave
Yeah, we're all about to get kicked out in about 30 seconds.
Adam
We have three categories for 200, 400, and $600. They are quarterbacks, pass catchers. And I always do a pop culture one that he doesn't know. So I'm doing barbecue is the last category. Barbecue.
Dave
Look at this graphic.
Heath
Make an idiot out of me again.
Adam
Dave, you're in last place. So you, sir, can have the board. Quarterbacks, pass catchers, or barbecue.
Dave
I'll have barbecue for lunch, please.
Adam
For 200, 400, or 6?
Dave
6.
Adam
Ooh. Okay. An exposed bone on a rack of ribs. Or in non barbecue terms, a black eye.
Heath
Heath.
Adam
Heath.
Heath
What is a shiner, heath?
Adam
600. Nice Schaefer, by the way, amazing work on these graphics. Like, this is phenomenal. All right, Heath, the board is yours.
Heath
We could stay here. Barbecue for 400.
Adam
A thick layer of fat covering the exterior of the meat.
Heath
Are we losing points for guesses?
Jamie Heath
No.
Heath
No, Heath.
Adam
No. Yes, Heath.
Heath
What is a cap?
Adam
Thomas, you don't have the answer, do you? I'm gonna give it to him. It was fat. A fat cap, I think. Yeah, Cap works. All right, Heath, the board is yours.
Heath
Barbecue for 200 category.
Jamie Heath
Heath won't know that. He's gonna sleep.
Adam
No, I thought he would know this one. I didn't want to give him, like, you know, famous Star wars characters or anything. No, no. Yeah. According to BurnPitBarbecue.com the most popular holidays for barbecuing are July 4th, Memorial Day, and this holiday.
Jamie Heath
Jamie. Jamie labored. What is Labor Day?
Adam
Yay. Good job. You did the question at 2. All right, JB200, and the board is Jamie's.
Jamie Heath
Let's go past catchers for 600.
Adam
Oh. This one could have been the tiebreaker for last game, I led the Tennessee Titans in receiving.
Jamie Heath
Jamie. Jamie, who is Mary Dicket?
Adam
Incorrect.
Dave
Dave. Dave, who is Elic IO Manor?
Adam
Alec is incorrect.
Dave
I had a 50. 50 shot. You got this one. This is easy.
Heath
Oh, I don't know. I don't. I don't at all.
Jamie Heath
Can we answer again or.
Heath
No, he. No, we can't, Heath.
Dave
He just makes the rule now.
Heath
No, you don't get two guesses.
Adam
Go ahead.
Heath
Heath, who is Van Jefferson?
Adam
Oh, wow. Who is Chigo conquo That's what I'm gonna say.
Dave
I was down to IO Manor and Okonkwo.
Adam
Jamie, the board is still yours. 600. 560 yards for Chico. Cockwell led the team. The board is yours.
Dave
He's a sleeper tight end, by the way. Like when we were talking about tight ends to take late and pair with Craft. He's one of them because he might be replacing Zach Ertz in that huggy bear role for Washington.
Jamie Heath
Pass casters for 400, please.
Adam
He finished as wide receiver 10 despite not scoring double digit PPR fantasy points in a game until week 11. Finished his wide receiver 10 but did not score double digit PPR.
Dave
Dave, who is Michael Wilson?
Adam
Hey, Dave. 400 for Dave. Michael Wilson, by the way, had more 100 yard games in 2025 than Marvin Harrison Jr. Has had in two seasons. Dave, the board is yours. We have pass catching 200 and we have all the quarterback questions.
Dave
Hoping the coaching staff notices pass catchers for 200. Alex.
Adam
All right. Christian McCaffrey's 924 receiving yards were the most by a running back since this guy had a thousand and five receiving yards way back in 2019 oh, 2019.
Dave
Heath.
Heath
Heath, who is Christian McCaffrey?
Adam
Correct. Very good.
Dave
That's great.
Adam
Christian McCaffrey. The last time a running back had that many receiving yards, it was McCaffrey. And actually one thing I noticed was we had two running backs with more than 800 yards last year. Bijan and McCaffrey. And that is very, very unusual. There are some years like 20, 24. I think Achan led the position and I don't think he even had 600. So I don't know if we're going to get some regression from McCaffrey and, and Bijan. I mean McCaffrey's been in that range three times in his career. But something to consider. They have tremendous past catching years. All right, Heath, you are in control here.
Heath
What do you want quarterbacks for 400, please.
Adam
He led all quarterbacks in pass attempts. Hint. He is an AFC quarterback who shares a last name with a basketball team.
Dave
Dave. Dave, who is Bo? Next.
Adam
Correct. And let's go Knicks. Dave, let's go. Nick, on the. On the board here or you can in control.
Dave
New York. Go, New York go. Let's have some drama. Quarterbacks for 200.
Adam
He averaged 288 passing yards per game in his first three seasons, but only 233 yards per game in his last three seasons.
Heath
Heath.
Adam
Heath.
Heath
Dave, who is Patrick Mahomes?
Adam
I was going to give the hint, but you guys got a little hasty. We don't do hints, Dave.
Heath
It's jeopardy.
Dave
No, Mahomes was going to be my guess.
Adam
Okay, Jamie, I think I want to give you the hint.
Dave
Wait a minute. I'm ineligible for the hint.
Adam
Yeah, you said Dave before I gave the hit. You buzzed in.
Dave
That doesn't mean that I. No, look at whatever.
Heath
No, this is ridiculous.
Adam
No, you know what? You don't make the rules.
Dave
You did terrorist game show host. That's what we've got.
Adam
You didn't listen. Okay, a hint. So first of all, he averaged 288 passing yards per game in his first three seasons, but only 233 in his last three seasons. Hint. He is an AFC quarterback and his last name is the first name of our 31st president.
Jamie Heath
Who is Justin Herbert.
Adam
Correct. Jamie is a history buff. He knows all the presidents by number. Justin Herbert. Yeah. Last three years, 233 passing yards per game. All right, so are we done? Man.
Dave
Quarterbacks for 600.
Adam
Oh, quarterbacks for 600. Wait, hold on. Can I tally up the points here?
Heath
I have 1200. Dave has 800, Jamie has 400.
Adam
Nah, really?
Heath
I've been keeping track.
Dave
You are a phenomenal game show host. I have to hand it.
Heath
Every time somebody gets one, I just add that to their total on this piece of paper in front of me and I just. Just write it down.
Adam
All right, So I mean, it's impeccable. If.
Dave
Do you own a tuxedo? Maybe you should be the next game
Adam
show host so Dave can win if he gets this right is what you're saying.
Jamie Heath
I think he should do a one man game show, Dynasty.
Adam
Then I'll use the same games on the next FFT episode. All right. There is a hint. This one.
Heath
Oh, wow.
Adam
But maybe I'll only give it.
Dave
You know what?
Adam
I'm only going to give the hint if nobody gets it right the first time around.
Jamie Heath
There's no daily double.
Adam
No. No Daily double for $600.
Dave
Daily double. Then we would all have a chance.
Adam
And no Final jeopardy. He led all quarterbacks in yards per carry at 6.9 yards per carry with a minimum of 30 carries.
Jamie Heath
Jamie.
Dave
Dave.
Adam
Jamie.
Jamie Heath
Who is Justin Fields?
Dave
Who is. Who is Trevor Lawrence?
Heath
Heath.
Adam
Heath.
Heath
Who is Jackson Dart?
Adam
Okay, here's the hint. He is an NFC quarterback and his last name is the same as the first name of former NFL player Steven. Oh, no, wait. His. His first name. His first name is the same as the last name of former NFL player Steven and former NBA player Vin Heath,
Heath
who is Baker Mayfield.
Adam
There it is. Congratulations. He. Hold on. Wait. Can you say something while I queue up some music?
Heath
Yeah. Final Tally, I had 1800. Dave had 800. Jamie had 400. Final tally, I had three wins. Jamie had two wins. Dave had one.
Adam
Heath, congratulations. Thank you. On winning this round of the Fantasy Football Today game show edition. When we come back, your emails at Fantasy Football@cbsi.com we'll be right back. He's a question for you. Would you have gotten the shiner thing just from the exposed bone on a rack of ribs or did you?
Heath
I would not.
Adam
Oh, really? You need the black eye hint?
Heath
I needed the black eye, yeah.
Adam
Okay. All right, well, I shouldn't. This is why we don't give hints.
Heath
I would have made all the difference.
Adam
All right, now we're going to do it. We're going to turn emails into a game show. Just, just with this simple way. I'm going to read an email and then Jamie and Dave, I want you to guess if Heath read it on his show yesterday or at any point. This email is from Aaron. And where's Aaron from, Dave?
Dave
Duluth, Minnesota.
Adam
Okay. Aaron says, I love listening to your show, walking my 6 year old lab and soon during summer fishing. And just a quick aside, if I had a dog, I think I'd go with a lab. They're very cute. All right, he's keeping Jaden Daniels and Jameer Gibbs and Colson Loveland and Rashi rice. He needs two more keepers. D.K. metcalf, David Montgomery, Rico Dowdle, Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr. Juwan Jennings, Zach Charbonnet and Rashad White. D.K. metcalf, David Montgomery, Rico dowdle, Parker Washington, Ryan Thomas Jr, Juwan Jennings x Charbonnet, Rashad White. Pick two.
Jamie Heath
No penalty.
Adam
I don't think so. It's a half PPR.
Jamie Heath
By the way, I think Montgomery is the easy one. You know, how many did he keep ready? Give me the list.
Adam
Jaden Daniels, Jameer Gibbs, Rashid Rice, Colson Loveland.
Jamie Heath
So I think the, the safe one is probably DK Metcalf, but if you want to maybe swing for the fences, it's Brian Thomas.
Adam
Yeah. Especially if you can keep for subsequent seasons. Right. Because what if he gets back to.
Jamie Heath
Or traded?
Adam
Yeah, what if he gets back to being good? So you're going Montgomery and Brian Thomas Jr.
Jamie Heath
I probably would. Just because he's got such a good base of players. Like that's a home run play.
Adam
We also have Zach Charbonnet on the list. Parker Washington, D.K. metcalf.
Dave
Okay, this was definitely right on Heath's show.
Adam
I don't think so. It's a keeper question. Not Dynasty.
Heath
I'm gonna say no, I did not read this question.
Adam
All right, how about that? This is from Maggie after watching Let Me introduce myself Tyron Montgomery on YouTube. I couldn't help but root for Montgomery to get drafted. He wasn't, but the Titans did pick him up as a UDFA undrafted free agent. That made me wonder are there any undrafted free agents who became integral parts of their NFL teams and or became fantasy relevant?
Dave
He's one of them. A tight end that I really liked a lot is Michael Trigg who got draft, who got signed, not drafted by the Cowboys. And we know Jake Ferguson's a little older, so maybe there's a chance for. For Trigg to get some opportunities. There might be one other. I gotta go to my list of undrafted players.
Adam
I do like that you're answering that, but she was actually asking about the best UDFAs in NFL history, so that would be. I just went to NFL.com and looked at their list. Kurt Warner, Antonio Gates, Priest Holmes, Walker, Warren Moon, Colston. Yeah, but Trig, I was very surprised that he didn't get drafted actually.
Dave
Me too. I wonder if it's attitude related, but
Adam
yeah, there you go. There have been some terrific UDFAs. Thank you, Maggie. All right, this is from Zach and I do believe Heath, read this one. Deep super flex tight end, premium IDP dynasty league. Did you read this one, Heath?
Heath
I don't think so.
Adam
Oh, my running backs are Breece hall and Braylon Allen, Travion Henderson and Malik Davis. I have Joe Burrow, Joe Flacco, Trevor Lawrence, Kyler Murray and Jacoby Brissette. It's a super flex league, remember? Should I trade Jacoby Brissette for Javante Williams?
Dave
Yes, absolutely. You. You ran through.
Adam
It's Burrow, Trevor, Trevor and Kyler and Flacco.
Dave
Yeah, you're good at quarterback and Brissette's a clearly like a band aid option at best.
Jamie Heath
Yeah, I think that's an easy trade to make. I. I wonder like if you want a shot percent maybe you can do a little better. Not that that's not bad, but quarterbacks and some super flex leagues are very much high in demand, so you never know.
Adam
Okay. From Jake, subject Dynasty Startup 101 and this is pick 101, not rules 101. Did you read this one, Heath?
Heath
I don't think so. I think you're reading emails from the main FFT and email and when I did my last mailbag, they were all from the FFT dynastyaramount.com.
Adam
oh great. Oh, okay. That's wonderful.
Jamie Heath
Oh, so Adam sent your wedding invitation to the wrong event.
Adam
All right. It's a Dynasty Startup. I. It is super flex two running backs, two wide receivers, two flexes, 10 teams. Jake has the first pick. Should he take Josh Allen, Drake May or Bijan Robinson or feel free to put your own answer in. Basically, who's the first pick of a 10 team super flex League?
Heath
Josh Allen.
Jamie Heath
Josh Allen.
Dave
Agreed.
Adam
Okay. From Michael Subject. Rogue One. Thank you. It is the best Star wars movie. Totally underrated. Glad you guys are on board. That's the whole email.
Dave
It's not to say that the other Star wars movies just aren't as good. They're all very good. But Rogue One is the one that I like best.
Jamie Heath
I saw our former colleague Nick Costas do a top five ranking of Star wars movies on his. I think it might have been Instagram account, but also Twitter. I think he had Empire Strikes Back as one.
Adam
Did he have Rogue One as two?
Jamie Heath
I think that was his third. I don't remember what was second.
Adam
That's got to be a new hope.
Jamie Heath
Oh, he might have done TV shows also. He did andor that's what he did. He did Star wars movies. So he went. He went Empire Strikes Back and. Or Rogue One.
Heath
Really glad you put barbecue in the jeopardy game
Adam
opposed to this. It was a good show, guys. Thank you very much. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
Dave
Jamari Taylor and Le'Veon Moss. Taylor went to the Jaguars. Levy on Moss of the Dolphins. That's like last round rookie only Dynasty picks. Udfa.
Heath
Also, Thomas wanted to make sure that you know that you forgot Victor Cruz and Adam Thielen.
Adam
Oh, yeah. Good, good. UDFAs. I have. I don't know if you saw this. Heath, you're on the chat. I think I have six of the top 20 picks in our upcoming Dynasty draft. Isn't that exciting?
Heath
It's.
Adam
It's very.
Heath
I mean this is the year that you want to stockpile. This is going to turn your franchise 360 degrees.
Jamie Heath
Oh, man, I can't believe I have a trivia question. I looked. I looked this up this morning when I was doing some Makai Lemon research because he's the Blitnikov winner. The award has been in place since 1994, so keep that in mind. How many hall of Famers have won the Blitnikov?
Adam
2. 2.
Jamie Heath
Technically. I think you're correct because the third one has not officially been inducted yet.
Adam
Okay, let's see. I'm going to go Calvin Johnson, Tim.
Dave
Larry win it?
Heath
Larry is what I was thinking.
Adam
Yeah.
Jamie Heath
Larry's not officially inducted yet. Right. He's just been.
Adam
Right. So who's the other. I'm going to say Andre Johnson.
Jamie Heath
No.
Adam
Yeah. I didn't think he won it. It was a. It was a shot in the dark there. Who else? 1994. Let's go to the 90s. Marvin Harrison. No, no, no, no.
Dave
He was. He wasn't the best.
Adam
Reggie Wayne.
Jamie Heath
Nope, Nope.
Heath
I have no idea.
Adam
That wasn't Randy Moss.
Jamie Heath
It was Randy Moss.
Adam
Oh, it was.
Dave
Oh, makes sense.
Jamie Heath
And probably at least one. One more on the way.
Dave
Who to?
Jamie Heath
March 8th.
Adam
Okay.
Jamie Heath
But others are still eligible.
Adam
All right. Hey, thanks, everybody.
Dave
Do you happen to have a couple of names that won the Bulletnikov Award and then sucked in the NFL?
Jamie Heath
There's a lot. Yes, unfortunately, there's a lot. I don't have the list in front of me, but there were more, more failures than success stories.
Adam
Really?
Jamie Heath
Yeah. I mean, like, there, there's a lot of, like, very good players like Brandon Cooks won. Michael Crabtree won.
Adam
Jordan Addison win.
Jamie Heath
Huh?
Adam
Jordan, Addison.
Jamie Heath
Jordan Addison won. That's a good call. Trying to think like the bad ones. Like there were some that were, like, you know, overhyped. Justin Blackman, for example.
Dave
Corey Coleman.
Jamie Heath
Yep.
Dave
I love Mike Haas from Oregon State. Charles Rogers. Josh Reed. Troy Walters. Troy Edwards.
Adam
Well, Marquis Lee, I think we've reached the end of the show.
Dave
Dee Dee Westbrook. Actually, I'm going to play some music to James Washington. Jalen Hyatt. Oh, a cornerback won this award. Travis Hunter.
Adam
Thank you, everybody for watching and listening. We'll talk to you tomorrow with a live mock draft with industry guests. It's going to be a much better show show than what you just watched and listened to. Talk to you then on fantasy football today, New CBS Wednesday.
Dave
This game is going to be the greatest challenge. And let's face it, this truly is my last shot.
Jamie Heath
Welcome to Survivor 50.
Dave
For me to be here, 450, the biggest season they ever had. It's like the super bowl. For me.
Adam
A CBS milestone event. It's my 20th anniversary.
Dave
If I win, I want to win against the best of the best.
Adam
You never want Survivor. This is the season to start. Let's get excited.
Jamie Heath
Be there.
Adam
Season 50 terrifies me. The vibe is intense. Make history. That is why you never give up in this game. Light your torch.
Dave
I'm out here looking at these guys
Adam
thinking like, oh, I'm in good shape. And then I'm like, yeah, never mind. Survivor 50 new milestone season begins CBS Wednesday and streaming on Paramount.
Heath
Plus.

Barbecue Jeopardy answer (Heath):
This episode of Fantasy Football Today is both a playful celebration of NFL/fantasy arcana and a subtle reinforcement of draft strategies—drafting for value, trending toward certain late-round tight ends or QBs, and maintaining flexibility as training camp news emerges. While primarily for entertainment and engagement, the expert banter and rapid-fire analysis ensure fantasy fans walk away with some useful nuggets—even if they're just a new favorite team name like "Kraft Yak and Cheese."
