It is Monday, July 14, and it is time to talk fantasy football. Of course. I mean this is fantasy football today and we are fired up because training camps are opening up. Rookies are reporting this week most weeks. Most veterans will report next week. So it is that time of year. It is football season. And guys, there's going to be a phrase that we hear a lot over the next few weeks. I'm Adam Azer with Jamie Eisenberg and Dan Schneier. What is that phrase? The best shape of his life. A lot of players are going to be in the best shape of their life. I'm gonna ask you, Jamie and then Dan, are you in the best shape of your life right now?
Jamie Eisenberg
No, you don't. You don't get to be my age and are in the best shape of your life. But I'm pretty close though, so hopefully getting better. Like wine.
Dan Schneier
Dan I would say I'm in the mix for the best shape of my life. I lost about 20 pounds since last since February when that infamous picture that you posted to our group chat of me accepting Danny's Football Today award at the fsga looking a little bit bloated, circulated the Internet. So I had to take some action after that.
Adam Azer
Oh really? Was the picture inspired you?
Dan Schneier
It did inspire me. Well, mostly it was actually walking by the Heart Attack Grill in downtown Vegas, stepping on that scale and seeing a number that I never thought was even possible.
Adam Azer
Well, I'm glad you were inspired. I knew Dan was going to say he was in the best shape of his life. I knew it. Let's get to our five best matches coming up.
Jamie Eisenberg
What do you expect?
Adam Azer
Yeah, I know Today we're going to talk about a draft that we did last week. We're going to talk about sleepers, breakouts, busts. But first let's get to our five big topics and how to approach the Browns backfield. Right now as rookie running back Quinshawn Judkins was arrested on domestic violence and battery charges and Judson's Judkins was the fourth pick of the second round of the NFL Draft. The Browns also drafted Dylan Sampson. In the fourth round. They returned Jerome Ford, who averaged 5.4 yards per carry on one hundred and four carries last season. Jamie, right now, what are your thoughts on Cleveland's backfield for fantasy purposes until.
Jamie Eisenberg
We have an idea of what potential punishment Judkin's going to get from either the Browns of the NFL or both, I think you approach it as he's still the best running back for the Browns this season. He's also unsigned. As we see a lot of second round picks right now are dealing with contract situations, so that's something to keep an eye on. But assuming that there's no suspension, I expect him to lead the Browns in almost every category from a running back perspective. I mean they drafted him to be sort of their Nick Chubb replacement. We know this team really struggled to run the ball last year. That's sort of been a Kevin Stefanski, their head coach. It's been a staple of their offense. If Judkins is going to miss any time, then I think that's where Jerome Ford steps in. And we got the report that he was going to be the starter whether it was going into camp or in week one. That remains to be seen. But that makes sense that the veteran gets an opportunity to be the starter, at least getting the first carry on training camp or first practice rep in the with the starting group. I think Dylan Sampson is more of a secondary option and and I don't think that matters who the starter is. I think he's going to be a guy that plays on passes down situations and somebody that I think has some upside in his role. More of a pass catcher, change of pace type of option. So if Judkins misses time, then Jerome Ford's value skyrockets. If Judkins is not going to be suspended and does have the opportunity to start week one, then I think he's worth drafting as a low end starter. High end flex.
Adam Azer
Dan, let me ask you this because you studied the prospects so much going into the NFL draft, you watch so much tape. Let's say Judkins were to miss some time. Do you think Dylan Sampson is the kind of player that could step into something resembling a workhorse role?
Dan Schneier
No, but I think he's the type of player can step into something resembling the Bucky Irving role of last year. Obviously that's a different situation and that's what propelled Irving to fantasy success. But Samson was one of the players in that Jacob and I discussed and we're like, this guy is so good in any other class. He might be in the mix for top 10, but very small sample size. He was working with and running in that scheme that he ran in. It's very difficult, just like with Jaylen Wright, to kind of figure things out because you're running into a lot of six man boxes which you're not going to see in the NFL level. So it's a lot of projection with Samson. So for that reason, based on the talent, I don't want to rule him out as someone who could take over big role.
Adam Azer
All right, Jamie, let's go to our second big topic. It's about the 49ers and another player who wants a new contract. It's Juwan Jennings. According to Adam Schefter, Juwan Jennings wants either a trade or a new contract. Right now on CBS, average draft position. He's wide receiver 41. This is before this news, 93rd overall. We looked at him as a great value. Meanwhile, Ricky Piersoll, 82nd overall, it's going about a round ahead of Juwan Jennings. And what's your take on the 49ers wide receiving core right now?
Jamie Eisenberg
I think that's what we're going to see because I don't think this is going to go away anytime soon. You know, the 49ers have an opportunity here to sort of make a stand on either they're in the Jennings camp or they're not in the Jennings camp. And we know right now it feels like they need him, you know, so ayuk probably going to miss the beginning part of the season. They move on. From Debo Samuel, you have Ricky Piersoll coming off a very incomplete rookie season. We know why after the gunshot wound that he suffered last August. So it feels Like Jennings has got an opportunity here with some leverage. That said, they've dealt with this each of the last two seasons. Debo had contract issues two years ago, UK contract situations last year. They're able to get those guys on the same page and. And hopefully the same thing happens with Jennings. But I don't think it's going to take much from financial standpoint to make Jennings happy. That being said, he does have an opportunity here to sort of push this as long as he wants to. I still think that he's the more talented of the two receivers and given the fact that Ayuka is coming off the injury, talented of all three receivers. But if this is going to play out, I had these guys so close in terms of Jennings and Pearsall. I'm just going to move Pearsall ahead of Jennings. And I think the way the ADP is going right now is probably going to be something reflective if this lingers into the middle of August.
Adam Azer
All right, would you guys rather have a 49ers wide receiver or let's say Jordan Addison?
Dan Schneier
Addison for me, for sure.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah. Probably not the best comp because Addison's got a trial situation looming tomorrow that could lead to a suspension as well from a DUI charge from a year ago. So we'll find out more about his status on July 15. I believe it is. So I don't know if I want to answer that until we get that answer.
Adam Azer
Okay, I'll give you a different one. How about Juwan Jennings or Roma Dunze or. Or Ricky Pearsall?
Jamie Eisenberg
I'll take Pierce all over Jennings right now and I will take with Dunes over both if this is going to play out for a long situation for. For Jennings.
Dan Schneier
Yeah. Dunes a year to break out. I like it.
Adam Azer
All right, let's go to our third big topics. Really topics three through five. So training camp is opening up. I'm going to ask you for a position battle that you're looking at at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver. Let's start with Dan. I'll throw it to you first. A quarterback battle to watch in training camp.
Dan Schneier
Well, this one's going to be on it. I guess you're going to be able to guess this one, but I do think there's a possibility that I really do believe that Jackson Dart could push Russell Wilson in camp this year. And I say that because I look at the history of Josh Allen. No, I'm kidding. It's not. It's. It's. It's. It's not this battle. Russell Wilson's gonna win the job. To start the year, I was sifting through the quarterback battles, and the obvious one for fantasy is Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson. I think ultimately health will play a big factor, but what scares me about that situation is we've heard Shane Steichen say it's gonna come down to consistency. And in practice, Daniel Jones can find a way to be consistent, but that's never been his issue. It's when the bullets start flying. So I'm just worried for the health of that offense. If they give the majority of the first team reps to Jones, where will that leave Richardson at when he does have to ultimately replace Jones in season? And that is what's going to happen here. Richardson may be able to keep the job, but Jones won't be able to.
Adam Azer
Okay, Jamie, quarterback battle you're looking at.
Jamie Eisenberg
It's definitely the Colts and it's. It's one of those split situations where Richardson is better on his own. For fantasy, I think the receivers and everybody in the offense benefits if Jones is a starter. So it depends on what side of this you're looking at. The other one clearly is New Orleans because they have the worst quarterback maybe battle in NFL history going on here with Tyler Shuck and Spencer Rattler and whoever else is going to compete for that job with Derek Carr, now retired. And again, this really has nothing to do with the quarterbacks. This has to do with Chris Olave and Alvin Camara and you know, Joanne Johnson to an extent, Rashid Shahid, Brandon Cooks, you know, all these guys that will hopefully benefit by some competent quarterback play. The hope is that Kellen Moore's offense, similar to like Kevin OConnell's offense, will allow the quarterback, whoever it is, to allow these players to make plays. And then we get some maybe quarterback play that helps us in super flex and two quarterback leagues. But the Colts is number one and the Saints are not far behind simply because of what this offense in New Orleans could be. If Kellen Moore's offense is going to be good. Yeah.
Adam Azer
And Cleveland also is one that we're going to be keeping an eye on. Let's go to the running back battles. Jamie, give me a running back battle that you're looking at.
Jamie Eisenberg
See this? You should have saved for Dan because the Giants is actually a very good one to keep an eye on here because of what's going on there with Tyrone Tracy and Cam Scatter. Boo. You have the situation in Dallas with who's going to be the starter there, Jamaica Devonte Williams, maybe one of the rookies in Jaden Blue or Phil Mafa. Miles Sanders obviously a big part of this, but I think the Giants one is the one that I struggle with a lot because you look at the situation here, aside from like, you know, some of the rookies and how they're competing, because I think Omarion Hampton is going to separate himself from Najee Harris and Treveon Henderson should separate himself from Ramondre Stevenson. I really don't know what the Giants are going to do because Tyrone Tracy had a good finish to the season, but he did not have the type of performance I think that is going to allow him to withstand somebody coming in and taking the job. And we saw what Scatterbu was able to do at Arizona State and did everything that you could ask for in the passing game, you know, was a physical runner, so he could be a starter there. Whether that means he's going to be a standout fantasy option remains to be seen, but I'm curious to see what the Giants do and how that sort of unfolds.
Adam Azer
Man, he took the job from you, Dan. That is so cold. That is ice cold. Now what else you got?
Dan Schneier
I got a better one. I got a better one. I'm still waiting on this year three breakout. So, you know, it's always good to be ahead of time on this one, on this call. Finally, it'll pay off this year. But the Jaguars backfield is what's most interesting to me. You bring in Liam Cohen, who designed what I would consider, at least from watching a lot of tape last year, the best and most well run and diverse. Definitely the most diverse run game last year. He had a lot of great offensive linemen to work with, but if he can bring that same magic to Jacksonville, we're looking at a very effective run game moving forward. Now, who is going to be the lead back there? Dig behind the numbers. And Tank Bigsby was a better runner last year than Travis etn almost across the board. So that's the one I'm keeping my eye on. I've loved Tank Bigsby since I watched his tape at Auburn. I feel like you're getting really late in drafts. I just picked him up super late in Scott Fishbowl, so I just, I want to see what happens there. And obviously Baal Tudin comes in to the mix as well with 4, 3, 5 speed.
Adam Azer
Yeah, I'm gonna throw out a sleeper running back battle to watch and it's in the in Houston and I want to see what Nick Chubb has because Joe Mixon. I looked at three different sources of Average draft position. Joe Mixon is not going in the top 44 in any of them. At CBS Football guys fantasy pros, he's a deal if Nick Chubb is not doing anything, if he's just kind of a nothing. Joe Mixon is an absolute steal in round four. But Nick Chubb is going to be now two years removed from the knee injury, which was a torn acl, mcl, meniscus and medial capsule last year. He broke his foot. But if he's healthy from the knee injury, he might be able to really take some work away from Joe Mixon. And Mixon couldn't end up being a bust in that scenario. So that's what I'm looking at. All right, Jamie, is there a wide receiver or tight end battle that you're keeping an eye on?
Jamie Eisenberg
The tight end battle for the Chargers is very intriguing to me because we know that this is something that we saw Justin Herbert lean on last year. You know, Will Disley had some very, very good games, and now they bring in Tyler Conklin and Arande Gadsden Jr. And I think both those guys have more upside than this lead. The way that Conklin closed the season last year for the Jets, I think is something worth noting. He was good in Minnesota as well. And then Gadsden's got a lot of, you know, preseason hype, you know, for. For a position that's really somewhat wide open. And we know they brought in a lot of bodies this year, you know, to compete with Quinton Johnston for really who's going to be second on the team in target. So Trey Harris hopefully will be that guy. Mike Williams could easily be that guy, but I think the tight ends are worth keeping eye on there. And then following the trade in Pittsburgh, which is another running back battle to watch as well, between Caleb Johnson and Jalen Warren, you have now John who Smith and Pat Friarmouth and how those targets are going to be sort of, you know, split between those two guys for a team that doesn't really have a quality number two wide receiver right now opposite DK Metcalf. So I think most expect, and I do as well, John De Smith to have more targets than Pat Friarmouth, but another guy that closed the season on a very, very high note and a guy that's already played with Arthur Smith at least once. So while John, who does have the familiarity there of being with him now for the third time, Friarmouth may be somebody that Rogers prefers, maybe more so than Arthur Smith does.
Adam Azer
All right, Dan, how about you?
Dan Schneier
The one that really stands out for me if you believe that the improvements they tried to make on the interior offensive line are for real and that Ben Johnson can be what he proved to be in in Detroit. It's that wide receiver battle in Chicago because we there is a lot of untapped fantasy potential. Is it going to be Roma Dunes? Is it going to be Deja Moore? Is it going to be Luther Burden who was drafted reason? And when you kind of watch him at Missouri, you're like, I can kind of see some of the things that Ben Johnson with Jameson, I can also kind of see some of the things he did with a Monroe St. Brown. So I just think that entire group is really interesting to watch and someone is going to come out of that as a really good fantasy value.
Adam Azer
All right, those are five big topics to get this show started. Up next, some of our favorite breakouts for 2025 why Drake may and Xavier Worthy could be league winners for you.

Breakouts very exciting topic. These are players that we're expecting a lot from. They're going to outperform their adp. They could be really, really good this year. And you know what? I personally do not think rookies can be breakouts because you know you're supposed to be having your best season yet, coming into your own. You've got Dan, you've got three rookies on your list. Okay.
Dan Schneier
Brian Thomas, some league neighbors weren't breakouts last year according to you.
Adam Azer
No, they just had great rookie.
Dan Schneier
I'm gonna nip this in the bud and I'm gonna cut off this breakout debate before it gets a little too heated. Because if anybody remembers the breakout discussion of May 2024 between Adam and Heath, we're not going to go back down that path. We're just going to accept what a breakout is. Whatever Adam tells me, it's new Adam, new commissioner Adam, you decide what a breakout is. You want me to rewrite them?
Adam Azer
I did a an X poll. Can you be a breakout as a rookie? And 62% of the responses said yes. So I will take the L on this one. Jamie, let's take a look at five breakout candidates for you. You do have one rookie on there, but Drake May is the quarterback. You got Travion Henderson and DeAndre Swift, Marvin Harrison. Oh, you have two rookies on there. Pardon me, Henderson, Travis hunter. Both rookies. DeAndre Swift, Marvin Harrison Jr. And Drake May. All right, take us through your list.
Jamie Eisenberg
I'll start with the Patriots. I like the setup for Drake May a lot. We spent some time on our Fantasy Football Today podcast on Monday discussing this with Jake Seeley that May could be one of the better running quarterbacks. He was on pace in his 10 healthy games last year for 630 rushing yards, which would have been if everybody else did not have their best numbers, but it would have been the third best rushing performance of quarterbacks last season. So he's got that on his resume that he can be a good rusher and I think just this offense as a whole is going to be better because of the addition of guys like Henderson and Stefan Diggs and Kyle Williams, but mostly with Josh McDaniels as the play caller. So I think we'll see Mays quarter. May's passing numbers will definitely improve. I think he'll still be north of 500 rushing yards, probably get a couple rushing touchdowns on top of what he did last year and then his passing numbers improve. So one of the best values that you'll find in terms of Henderson, I think it's not going to take long before he's much better than Ramon Dre Stevenson. Stevenson's got a fumble issue, so while he may be the starter and get those first and second down opportunities early in the season, I think Henderson will prove to be a little bit more productive than he was in college when he shared with Quintean Judkins. He's definitely going to be one of these pass catching running backs that Josh McDaniels will use and certainly that Drake May will lean on because his receiving core while is getting an upgrade, still is not the most diverse and robust receiving core. So I think Henderson's targets will definitely be there. So love the opportunity to draft him as the third best rookie running back behind Genti and Amari Hampton. Travis Hunter is going to be obviously a wild card, but we just expect at this point that he should play enough offensively that he's going to benefit from Liam Cohen as his play caller, from a better Trevor Lawrence this year because of Liam Cohen and just getting targets funneled in his direction because it's going to be Brian Thomas and it's going to be Hunter just getting as much opportunities they could possibly handle from Trevor Lawrence. DeAndre Swift's the Tough one to buy, I guess. Marvin Harrison as well. Swift has never been the. The running back that a lot of people have hoped for him to be, but he hasn't been as bad, I think, as people have sort of forecasted. You know, he wasn't awful in Philadelphia, just didn't have the touchdowns because of Jalen Hurts. He wasn't bad his last couple of years in Detroit and he certainly wasn't awful last year in Chicago despite the fact that everything around him was terrible. Well, Dan just got finished telling you how much things are going to improve in Chicago with the receiving core there. The offensive line will be better, the play caller will be better, and right now there's nobody that I think is a huge threat to him. Maybe the seventh round rookie, maybe Roshan Johnson. I just think DeAndre Swift has an opportunity here to be the best running back in a very good offensive system and I like that setup for him. I think Harrison scoring eight touchdowns gets overlooked in his rookie campaign. Everything else was kind of a disaster. If he can get to 10 touchdowns and see a big boost in targets and opportunities, which I think he will, he's going to be a guy that in the round four range you're going to be happy about. Obviously disappointing last year in the round two range.
Adam Azer
Yeah. Dan, any reaction to Jamie's list of breakouts? We got Drake May, Travion Henderson, DeAndre Swift, Marvin Harrison Jr. And Travis Hunter.
Dan Schneier
I mean I really the case I like the best was From Marvin Harrison Jr. Just looking at it like that, you would think all he has to really do is get more targets and more involved in the red zone to really pay back that adp. So I love that. As far as the Swift one goes, that's the only one that I don't want to say confuses me, just brings caution. I'm a little more cautious about, I should say, just because this late into his career, the breakout, I understand the situation is great, but whenever we start to go down this path of just building up the situation, I, I start to get a little bit worried because I've fallen into a lot of traps that way as a fantasy manager.
Adam Azer
All right, let's take a look at Dan's breakouts here. Justin Fields and bunch of rookies. RJ Harvey, Omarion Hampton, not all rookies. And Xavier Worthy as well. I guess you like the rookie running backs, huh?
Dan Schneier
Well, yeah. Let's start with RJ Harvey. RJ Harvey. If you take a look behind the hood at the advanced analytics with with Harvey yards after contact per attempt, contact balance, it's the second best in the class after Ash and Jenny Force miss tackle right. All of those are just elite. You watch the tape it all lines. Maybe he doesn't have the Chris Johnson esque straight line speed. I don't think it's going to matter with all the 20 plus plays he's going to rack up in that Sean Payton offense. The history of running backs in a Sean Payton offense also adds this. The offensive line returning being super strong, another tick in his favor and then finally it's like we're all worried because J.K. dobbins signed. J.K. dobbins has never stayed healthy except for last year where he wasn't healthy for the full year. So I think that's a really underrated factor in all this. If Dobbins gets hurt again, where does that leave Harvey? To me it's the obvious league winner of all this of this entire group moving on to the other two running backs. And Marion Hampton was a guy who was going to draft in fantasy the minute he got drafted. I love the fact that Najee Harris signed there. Naji Harris will be no threat to Hampton. Hampton was unbelievable at the collegiate level. Reminded me of Jonathan Taylor with a little bit better contact balance and a much better receiving back than Taylor. Ran a lot of routes. Only had two drops on 80 targets last year over the last two years I believe. So really strong numbers there. Finally Justin Fields. That's just like the easy free play to me this year. Unless you think Fields to get bench for Tyrod Taylor. There's just no way he won't return value on that ADP given his rushing floor. And that's just proven over time. Looking at Justin Fields very rarely has he not returned fantasy value. There was a small stretch with the Bears for like a six game stretch start season. Even in that season he bounced back and had a really strong second half. Finally Caleb Johnson. This was my Jordan Howard of a few of what is that now? Six, seven years ago. I really feel dated now and older bringing up Jordan Howard. But Jordan Howard at Indiana ran outside zone scheme, was drafted to the Bears to run in an outside zone scheme in on day three. Broke out immediately as a rookie. Caleb Johnson outside zone scheme at Iowa was drafted towards Arthur Smith's outside zone scheme. This is the perfect schematic fit and I love the fit from every other standpoint. Red zone should be good for him. He should score a lot of touchdowns this year as a rookie and Rack up over a thousand yards of rushing.
Adam Azer
Jamie, what do you think about Dan's list?
Jamie Eisenberg
I like the list. And you didn't even get into Xavier. Worthy, who's got an opportunity here with the Chiefs to clearly be a standout sophomore. It's just a matter of how many targets will he get and which kind of role will he play. So where he breaks out, too, is hard to sort of, I think, put a, you know, finger on. But there's a huge upside potential here if Mahomes is better and they start to throw the ball downfield a lot more. You do see some flaws, though, with, with the running backs. Obviously, if Dobbins is to the level that he was last year, and yes, he did miss four games with another injury, it's going to impact Harvey's upside. Clearly, you know, Dobbins was so talented, is still so talented. And, and clearly the Brown. The Broncos felt that they were missing something by adding him so late in the process. But I love RJ Harvey. I think he's going to be the best Broncos running back and certainly has a chance for a standout rookie campaign. I. I would. Najee Harris. You know, clearly his, his July 4th situation. As long as he's okay. He just does these things that we see all the time with veteran running backs where they just become a problem for what we like to do in fantasy, where you see the upside for Hampton and he's having, by all accounts, an amazing rookie camp so far before the veterans show up. But he doesn't fumble, he never gets hurt. And if he's going to stay on the field, I think it does impact. Again, Hampton ceiling. So while these guys should be the best running backs on their team in terms of Harvey in Hampton and even Caleb Johnson, like, Jalen Warren's not going away. He's going to have a role in passing down situation. So I think just the ceiling is where these guys get to. And that's what has me concerned about how. How soon you draft them. But you can see the upside and, and if an injury occurs, there's. There's top 10 potential for all three of those guys.
Adam Azer
All right, well, listen, I'm going to just piggyback off what you guys are doing. Here's another breakout candidate. Let me know what you think. Ashton Genti.
Dan Schneier
I knew you were going down that path.
Adam Azer
I mean, come on, he's gonna have a great year. He's a rookie.
Dan Schneier
The difference is you'd have to draft Ash and Jenny in round one.
Adam Azer
Yeah, I get it. It's.
Jamie Eisenberg
But the thing about our audience hates you right now.
Adam Azer
No, they're like me 62 said it's okay to put a rookie.
Jamie Eisenberg
No, you're making fun of them.
Adam Azer
That's true. That is true. A little bit. Yeah, yeah. Forget it. Forget the thing about breakouts. Let's talk about the thing about busts. Coming up next, picks that we don't like so much, players who could be pretty bad for your fantasy team. We'll give you our bus list after this on fft.

You all know I've been running an Airbnb for a while now, and it's been a great way to make use of my extra space, especially when I'm traveling. And I've got some great trips coming up. First, I'm heading to Pinehurst, North Carolina, for an annual golf trip with the crew. Always a blast. Then I'm swinging down to my old stomping grounds in Gainesville, Florida, to catch a Gators game and slide into my favorite Mexican spot, La Tienda, for some steak tacos. What I love is that with the Airbnb co host network, I don't have to think twice about what's happening back home. I found a local pro who handles everything. Creating the listing, managing bookings, messaging guests, even being there in person. If anything comes up, I get to enjoy the trip, be in the moment, and know everything's running smoothly. So whether you already host like I do or you've got a space just sitting empty while you're away, this is a total game changer. Find a co host@airbnb.com host welcome back.

To fantasy Football Today. Looking at busts here. So during the break, I did a little Google search. Jamie Eisenberg, 2024 bust 3.0. See what I could find. See who did he have in his last bus column? Look at the first four names on this list. Christian McCaffrey, CD Lamb, Tyreek Hill, Breeze Hall. I'm going, man, this is the greatest article ever written. Then I look at the headline. Jamie looks at the bust case for every player ranked 1 through 12. So it was.
Jamie Eisenberg
Going through.
Dan Schneier
You got got, basically.
Jamie Eisenberg
What's that?
Dan Schneier
That's a. You got God.
Adam Azer
Well, a little bit, but, I mean, it's amazing. The first four players are all busts, but. All right, Jamie, let's take a look at your bus list. Early bus list here. Five players and some big names here. Lamar Jackson. Actually, no more than four syllables, I guess, but. But big names in terms of fantasy. Lamar Jackson, Saquon Barkley, Joe Mixon, Mike Evans, Brock Bowers. So yeah, this is a pretty sexy list here. Go, let's take it, take us through it and then Dan, jump in and let us know what you think.
Jamie Eisenberg
Some of it is based on adp, some of it is based on just concerns. And so Lamar Jackson is solely ADP based right now. So on our average draft position he's going in the second round and he's almost like 10 picks ahead of Josh Allen and I do not think that should be the case case on either Cord. I think you should start looking at these quarterbacks in round three and you can make a case that Josh Allen, based on his track record is just as good is not better than Lamar Jackson. Another discussion that we had on our podcast this morning, so I just don't think there should be that much separation. I would not take Jackson in round two. I also would not take Brock Bowers at 15th overall and he's going about eight spots ahead of Trey McBride and significantly ahead of George Kittle. And I also don't think that should be the case. Bowers was amazing last year year but you think about what the changes have happened to Las Vegas. The run game will definitely be better with Ashton Jensen joining the Raiders. You look at the receiving core around him. It's going to be better with Thornton and best as two rookies that are going to command targets along with Jacoby Myers. Now Geno Smith is going to be a better quarterback than what they had last year and I think the system is going to be better but I just don't think Bowers gets as many targets. So he is my tight end too. You should be drafting him in round three, but I think 15th overall is too high. So those two guys is basically an average draft position conversation. Saquon Barkley scares the hell out of me. He's the first round pick that I do not want to draft this year. I made the case for it early in February. I'll continue to say the same thing. What we saw from him from a workload standpoint is just too hard for him to replicate that type of production. And then you look at the history of 2,000 yard rushers. It's a very small sample size, only eight of them. All eight saw a decline of 500 yards rushing or more. Two of them got hurt the following season and you're just going to see a big a different Philadelphia offense I think this year because it's a coordinator change. So a 28 year old running back coming off all that work and the history of guys that have accomplished what he Accomplished. I think he's still worth drafting in the first round, but he's not someone that should go in the first five overall picks. And as we've seen in some drafts, he goes number one overall. I think Bijan's the best running back. I think Jamar Chase is the number one overall pick. I would not take Saquon Barkley in the first five picks. When it comes to Joe Mixon, you made the case that he's a great pick in round four. I don't want to draft him until round five. We see an offensive line that's going through a significant change. It might be better. I think it's going to be worse. We see a significant upgrade in terms of the talent behind him. It's not just Nick Chubb. They drafted a rookie running back that I think is going to get some work and I think both those guys are going to take mixing off the field just enough. Last year he was number seven in terms of touches per game. That we're going to see that number come down a little bit behind a worse offensive line and what should be a better passing game if the guys that they brought in are at least healthy because Diggs mishap the season. Nico Collins missed four games last year and Tankdale didn't finish the year, although it was at the end of the season. So we have guys coming in to hopefully improve the passing game, compete with Joe Mixon in an offensive line that he's going to struggle. So these are guys that I'm probably going to avoid based on cost. Mike Evans, 32 years old. Last year in the first seven games with Chris Godwin, 14.3 PPR points per game. That is not a top 20 wide receiver. He should still be a top 24 guy based on how he's drafted. I'm not taking him though until round five with earliest.
Adam Azer
Yeah, you know, let me jump in and then. Dan, we can throw up your list so you can talk about this, but Mixon has pretty much never had a good offensive line. If you look at Pro Football Ref or Pro Football Focus and and ESPN.com and their Run block rankings they had the Texans already last year is one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. So it probably will be worse. But the Bengals never had a good line. Texas didn't have a good line. Joe Mixon has been a top 12 running back per game in six of the last seven seasons. Chubb is the only guy that really worries me there. Otherwise I think he's going to be more or less a workhorse. He's going to catch his 40 to 50 passes on in 17 games. So I'm not really too concerned about any of the other guys. I'm not concerned about the passing game being better. The passing game is being better. I think that could benefit Joe Mixon because it just make the offense better. Yeah. And so Dan, where are you on mixing? Because right now he's going about 45th to 48th.
Dan Schneier
I'm probably a little bit lower on mix and I discussed this on one of the FFTs or actually I think I discussed this with Jacob Gibbs on Beyond the Box Score Shameless plug. Real quick, Jacob Gibbs and I are starting a new beyond the Boss Score show. It's a little bit of a addition to what we've done with Adam over the years. You can find it over on YouTube and anywhere you find FFT. Check it out for advanced stats data, deep dives and film analysis. But with that said, when it comes to mixing, one thing that bothers me is that they're moving off of the blocking scheme last year, that outside zone scheme that worked for him and two what I expect to be power gap taking some of the Patriots roots that I don't think fits him as well as it might fit Nick Chubb. So that one scares me the most. As far as the rest of these guys go, I understand where I'm at odds with with Jamie and it's always going to be this way when it comes to players like Saquon Barkley because he's my RB1 and I totally understand Jamie's case. It's a historical base case and I think when it happens, if it happens and he does get hurt, it's easy to point back to look, we, we could, we had all these signs that prove this, but if he stays on the field, there's just no way in my mind that anyone but Christian McCaffrey can outscore him this year at fantasy football in any position and the one that really stands out the most to me, I think we're different on Bowers too. I'm much higher but Lamar, we're good on I think that a touchdown regression, the red zone is almost a guarantee. But Evans is the one that I'm at odds with all fantasy analysts, I think because when I looked into the data on him, he was still really elite when it came to separation score last year. Mike Evans was one of the best route running receivers in the NFL and I don't really know why, you know, why he's going as late as he's going and why he's projected in here here to be a bus, other than his age being that factor. But that's the case for Devonte Adams and plenty of players who are drafting ahead of him. Evans, if he stays healthy, is still an elite wide rece with a great quarterback at this point and a great offensive function. So I really like Evans this year.
Adam Azer
Okay. All right, let's see who you don't like. Let's take a look at Dan's bus list here. Five players that Dan is probably not going to be drafting much. James Cook. Disagree. Kyron Williams. Disagree. Ken Walker, Alvin Camara, Chris Goblin. I mean, I love this. You've got this tier of running back here that's going between rounds three and four. Kyron Williams for us, he goes in the second round when we do our drafts, but ADPs got him in the third round. But no, I love this. It's very bold and you have Chris Godwin as a bust. So take us through your bus list.
Dan Schneier
Yeah. So obviously it seems like I'm just avoiding what used to be called the running back dead zone and that's not the case here. I've made it clear that I think the running back dead zone of old is not the same now that the NFL has moved to a lot of Vic Fangio style defenses where there's a lot of too high safeties, a lot of debt from the safeties daring you to run. But these are not the guys that I want invested for. Start with James Cook. For James Cook, if he doesn't score all those touchdowns, I'm a little bit worried about how he's getting his fantasy points. And Ray Davis was more effective in some metrics than James Cook was as a rusher. Now less volume, it makes it easier to be more effective. But Ray Davis was good when you watch the tape. So it just scares me a little bit there. It feels like a little bit fickle. Plus the contract situation you add to that, which gets me a little bit scared. Kyron is another player who I've unfortunately never been able to get on board with from a fantasy standpoint point. Still just feel like a player if he's talented enough can carve out a role in that offense. I believe in Jerkbas Hunter. I thought he was unbelievable. I'd like this tape a lot better than Blake Corum when he came out, especially his projection in the NFL. So I think Hunter takes a sizable chunk of that role this year and that just makes Williams disappointing. He needs the role to really be fantasy drafted. Where he's at Ken Walker. To me, look, I get it. He flashes, the big plays are outstanding. He looks electric. He looks like one of the best athletes NFL. But how many years in a row are we going to do this with Ken Walker? Walker. And it doesn't seem like the ADP has fallen that much. I'm still making this massive investment in a player like Walker and it just hasn't paid off all that much. With the exception of a stretch last year where he seemed to get a lot of targets. That to me feels very fluky. The target stretch. I do not expect that to continue moving forward. Then Alvin Camara, this is another one I've been off on in recent years and it's burned me. I've been out on him. But this is like we're getting to a point here where the ADP hasn't really dropped all that much. And yet we have what Jamie described earlier as maybe the worst quarterback situation we've ever seen in the NFL. The offensive line is not getting any better. I don't think it helps to lose Clint Kubiak and go to Kellen Moore from a target volume standpoint. I don't think it helps to lose Derek Carr specifically from a target volume stand. I think Derek Carr may have been the, the, you know, the straws that held together. This Alvin Camara fantasy guy, you want a draft situation was basically all PPR based, so I'm very out on him. And then Godwin, to me, the price just isn't low enough considering what he went through, the injuries coming off of and the added target competition there. I just don't, I don't like. Look, if all things work out well for Godwin, from a health standpoint, he's going to be a value at that pick. But that's not the point. The point is he's coming off the injury and they added a Buka in round one. So that's just a player I'm not going to be drafting much of.
Adam Azer
I think you're going to get a lot of disagreement from Jamie.
Jamie Eisenberg
Jamie Walker's actually my favorite player on this list. You know, just based on I think where we're still seeing him get drafted and the upside. I don't think the reception total was necessarily a flu, Luke. And we'll see how much the quarterback change though is. Is a problem for that. But you just referenced Kubiak and the system there. That was a, a guy even in San Francisco that throws to his running backs. In Minnesota, he throws to his running backs. You know, when he's had an opportunity to be involved in play calling. He's going to get Ken Walker the ball and I think that's the best part of Walker. Can he stay healthy is the biggest issue. Missed five games last year, only played one in the final four games down the stretch last year. So I think that's going to leave a little sour taste in some people's mouth. But it was a career high points per game for him. A lot of that was early in the season comparatively to late. So did he wear down a little bit? We'll find out. Out has a talented guy behind him, Zach Charbonnet. But I like Walker at his cost and I think the cost that we'll see for James Cook and Kyron Williams, again, depending on where you look, Cook is basically going the end of Round three. At this point, it's hard to overlook finding a player that's going to have a role in an offense like he's in for Buffalo. And yes, Ray Davis should have an opportunity to get more touches, but James Cook's value I think in that spot is pretty good. And Kyron Williams also should lose some touches this year to Hunter or Corum or both. But again, if you're getting him in round three, we know Sean McVeigh's track record and clearly despite the flaws for Kyron Williams, I agree with you, Dan. It's been hard to sort of buy why this has worked last two years, but it's still Sean McVeigh in this offense and it's worked. I am concerned about Alaric Jackson and the blood clots there for one of their best offensive linemen. Godwin, to me is an easy buy just because if he's going to continue to fall. We saw what the upside was last year. Yes, he's coming off a significant injury, but it's not an ACL like we saw three years ago. It's a. It's an injury that I think he can overcome. Can he overcome Abuka's targets? This kind of plays into Mike Evans as well. Like there's just so many mouths to feed in this offense. And I think it's not just necessarily an age thing for Evans. It's just the competition that we're going to see for both of these guys. So I think they both lose with the Buca there and especially Jalen McMillan the way that he finished. But if Baker's going to throw the ball to the same level that he did and have the same efficiency, then obviously everybody should benefit. It's just a matter of where you're buying in on the Bucs receivers. So if Godwin's at the right price, he's certainly not going to be a bust. Evans, even at his cost right now, not necessarily a bus. He's just a player for me that I'm going to probably be out on and I guess the same things for Dan with Chris Godwin.
Adam Azer
All right, so we're going to take a break here. A week ago we did a 12 team PPR mock draft. Who had the best team. We will compare them and you can decide at home. We'll be right back. On fantasy football today.

All right, it's mock draft season here on fantasy football today. So a week ago we completed a 12 team 3 wide receiver, PPR, mock draft, draft. Dan had the second pick, I had the sixth pick, and Jamie had the 12th pick. So you can see how we built our rosters from different spots in the draft. Let's take a look at the teams and while we do that, I'm going to try to come up with clever team names based on the players on the roster. We'll see how I do there. But Dan, since you had the second pick, let's take a look at your team. First team, honey. Bijan, dressing. Thank you. Bijan Robinson was your first pick, but I gotta say, before we even show the other ones, I think we all have did a very nice job. I really like all the teams. I love your team. It's just I don't really see a big weakness here. You know, you've got Colson Loveland at tight end, but you know, whatever, I, I think you did great. So are you happy with it?
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I was thrilled with this. I think in a full PPR league you get a really big advantage drafting at two because most of the time you're going to see Chase go one. So you get to start your draft with Bijan Robinson who should have good involvement in the passing game. And then you can kind of build out your lineup through that and really go heavy in full PPR on wide receiver. And that's what I did. You can see Wide receivers one through three, I'm all pretty confident in. I feel good about Ridley as my flex personally with the quarterback upgrade and just given what we saw. And then I got my biggest breakout, RJ Harvey. So I just love what happened here. Loveland's the one area where I'm a little stressed about because I see big upside with him, but I also see a player who I could be looking at like, wow, he's least getting one to two targets a game for the first five, six weeks. So I drafted alongside him. Doesn't show in that graphic. Jake Ferguson, who to me is the single best value at the tight end position by far in fantasy this year.
Adam Azer
Jake Ferguson. Interesting.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I don't think it's close.
Adam Azer
How much of a priority? Oh, I think it's close. How much of a priority was it?
Dan Schneier
Who's the best valued fantasy tight end for you?
Adam Azer
Well, I think Jake Ferguson could be useless if George picks thinking because he wasn't very good last year and you've got cd.
Dan Schneier
Scott's always used his Titan. He wasn't very good last year without that Prescott.
Adam Azer
Okay, but he's, he wasn't. Well, he didn't score touchdowns last year. I thought he was going to be a great value before the Pickens trade. Now I don't know what those targets look like, but how important was it for you to have an elite quarterback because you have Jalen Hurts?
Dan Schneier
Not important at all. I very rarely in these one quarterback leagues draft a quarterback anywhere near the range of Hertz. It was a situation where, and I know Jamie talked about this earlier in the show, Hertz just fell to a point where I, it didn't make sense to let him keep falling. I thought he was going to give me a much bigger advantage than whatever running back or receiver I would be considering at that point.
Adam Azer
All right, let's take a look at my team here. We can either go with Hampton in or keep running up that hill. Since I am such a Tyreek Hill fan and I love stranger things, it's Jaden Daniels.
Dan Schneier
Another hill for Adam to die on.
Adam Azer
Very good. A little, little wordy, but I like it. Jaden Daniels, Christian McCaffrey, Omarion Hampton, Tyreek Hill. Tyree Kill is my third round pick. AJ Brown, my second round pick, Ricky Piersol, Tyler Warren and Isaiah Pacheco. Now look, I think there's a flaw on this team. It's a three receiver PPR league and I just don't have great receiver depth. I have Christian Kirk on the bench, but I'm only Starting three receivers and one of them is Ricky Pearsall. So I'd like ideally in this type of format, I'd like my flex to be a wide receiver. The draft kind of fell to me in a way that I just couldn't pass up on Pacheco. I'm taking a shot on Tyler Warren, but I do think I've got a lot of high end talent that can make up for it. I'm a big believer in Jayn Daniels. Obviously I'm the high guy in Christian McCaffrey. I'm the high guy on Tyree Kill. AJ Brown is awesome. So I need my stars to be stars and I think I'll be okay. Jamie, what'd you think of the team?
Jamie Eisenberg
I think the thing that broke well for both of you guys is what you did early in the draft because for you it was AJ Brown falling to the middle of round two and for Dan it was getting the combination of Ladd McConkey and T. Higgins end of round two. Beginning agree. Because if you get one of those receivers it probably looks a little bit different. I think those guys can arguably be taken in the second round in most cases. I think Marone Berkson, if not mistaken, was picking one and started Jamar Chase and went running back. Running back. If McConkey or Higgins or potentially both go there, it probably changes how your draft unfolds. And then the same thing. Adam, if you're taking, I don't know if Drake London was still available, but if you're taking not one of those two guys and you're taking let's say T. Higgins in that spot, it looks a little bit different as well as your number one wide receiver there. But I think both you guys did fantastic. You know, taking advantage of the board, Ford and Adam, in terms of your team, I, I, I love the, the type of aggressiveness which I don't usually see from you in taking guys that have just such high end potential like what McCaffrey has and you took him ahead of Barkley which I think is, is not, not exactly as risky as it sounds. And then you know, taking Tyree Kill and taking even Isaiah Pacheco for example, I know you like and, and the Pierce all move was done before the Jennings news. So you ended up I think benefiting with that situation as well.
Adam Azer
All right, thanks. I really wanted to just talk about my team but fine, you can talk about dance too. Let's see. Jamie's team picking from the 12th spot where he started with Amon Rossane Brown and Ashton Genty with his first two picks. All three of us have top five quarterbacks, which is interesting as we don't go into drafts looking for that necessarily. But it did work out that way. Jackson, Genti, Judkins. Now this pick was done before the news of the arrest, so we'll grade your team accordingly. I'm on Ross, St. Brown, Darnell Mooney, Travis Hunter, George Kittle and Stefan Diggs. Are you happy with this team?
Jamie Eisenberg
I am, but not for the reasons that typically are used. You know, anybody that's followed me for a long time knows that I'm not usually the person that takes a quarterback early and I was the first person to take a quarterback. So the way that the draft unfolded, I was just playing the board, you know, so picking 12th, I started like you said, with St. Brown and Genti at the, you know, 12 and 13 picks and then when it came back to me at the 3, 4 turn, there just wasn't a wide receiver running back that I thought was worth taking there. So I said, you know, I'm going to do something different. I took the number one tight end on the board that there who was the number one tight end last year in George Kittle, and I took Lamar Jackson who was the number one quarterback. And so if those guys are in a similar range to what they were a year ago, I think both your teams from a running back and wide receiver perspective look better. I think from a roster perspective though, I may score as many points as you guys because of what Jackson and Kittle do, especially at the tight end spot where you guys are starting rookies and again could have the best tight end in fantasy based on a point per game basis who might just benefit because of the receiving core being as decimated as it is. So he could be closer to McBride and Bowers than I think a lot of people realize. But look, it a lot depends on, on the Judkin situation. Like you saw, I did take Dylan Sampson, so I do have at least one piece of the Browns backfield if judging is going to miss any time. And I like the wide receiver depth that I have. You also don't see the bench which has Keon Coleman. I believe in Cedric Tillman as well. So some guys that I like that I think have the potential to be in that flex play conversation. So I like the way that the team worked out. Again, not the, the usual, you know, roster construction that I'm used to putting together. But, but sometimes you got to be a little bit different depending on where you draft and how the board Falls to you.
Adam Azer
I've got nothing for team names. Nothing here. I used to do Stefan or Kel for the Stefan Diggs, but he's just not relevant enough. I mean, your flex. I got nothing. Jamie, you have a very boring team with no good team names. I'm going to give myself the title of best team picked last week. All right, we're going to be back with your questions. Ask fft after this on fantasy football today.

Adam Azer
Here we go. I'm keeping neighbors in the 5th and Bucky in the 14th. I can go anywhere in the draft. Should I get the number one pick to get Chase or Bijan or pick elsewhere? Fair.
Jamie Eisenberg
Jamie, take number one and get one of the best players, if not the best player in chase.
Adam Azer
All right, next question. Yeah, we're good. Dan. Yeah, you can get this one. You can get this one for the 20 team league that needs deep sleepers.
Dan Schneier
What do you think? Ranked after between 200, 300. All right, here we go. Let's do a quick one that I love. Eli Moore on the Bills. That's my favorite favorite. Let's see who else we can throw out. Jalen Noel. The Texans think he has a really good shot to make a run this year. Let's. Let's stick with those two as my two main targets.
Adam Azer
All right, next question. Nico in the fourth or Daniels and. Well, if I'm going Daniels, Jamie, I.
Jamie Eisenberg
Would go Daniels as well, but it's hard to throw back. Nico.
Adam Azer
Nico. Okay, we have time for one more. Are we done? We got. Would you take. Would you trade 1.1 in a keeper draft for 1.2 and 5? Oh, but Kyren would be the next. No, I wouldn't do it.
Dan Schneier
No, I would.
Jamie Eisenberg
But I would take Amari Hampton as one of those picks.
Adam Azer

Fantasy Football Today: Episode Summary - "FFT on CBSSN: Jauan Jennings Drama, Quinshon Judkins Fallout + Breakouts and Busts!!" (Released July 15, 2025)
In this engaging episode of Fantasy Football Today, hosted by Adam Azer with analysts Jamie Eisenberg and Dan Schneier, the team delves deep into the latest developments affecting fantasy football enthusiasts. Covering critical team dynamics, player performances, breakout candidates, and potential busts, this episode equips listeners with the insights needed to dominate their fantasy leagues.
[01:31] The episode kicks off with Adam Azer setting an enthusiastic tone for the fantasy football season, highlighting the onset of training camps and the influx of rookie reports. He emphasizes the phrase "the best shape of his life" as a recurring theme for many players entering the season.
Adam Azer: "A lot of players are going to be in the best shape of their life."
A significant portion of the discussion centers on the Cleveland Browns’ running back situation, particularly focusing on rookie Quinshon Judkins and his recent legal issues.
[03:30] Jamie Eisenberg: Discusses Judkins as the Browns' primary running back for fantasy purposes, assuming no suspension. She notes, "If Judkins is not going to be suspended and does have the opportunity to start week one, then I think he's worth drafting as a low end starter. High end flex."
Dan Schneier: Adds perspective on Judkins' backup, Dylan Sampson, indicating potential but also highlighting the challenges Sampson might face in stepping into a larger role.
The analysts shift focus to the San Francisco 49ers, specifically the contract demands of wide receiver Juwan Jennings and how it affects his fantasy value.
[05:57] Jamie Eisenberg: Highlights the dilemma of choosing between Ricky Pearsall and Juwan Jennings, ultimately favoring Pearsall if Jennings' contract issues persist. She states, "I had these guys so close in terms of Jennings and Pearsall. I'm just going to move Pearsall ahead of Jennings."
[07:07] Dan Schneier: Weighs in by expressing a preference for other receivers over Jennings, emphasizing the uncertainty surrounding Jennings' availability.
The team examines pivotal position battles in training camps that could influence fantasy outcomes:
Quarterbacks:
Dan Schneier: Discusses the potential of Jackson Dart challenging Russell Wilson, though he ultimately believes Wilson will secure the starting role. He raises concerns about the New York Jets’ quarterback consistency.
Jamie Eisenberg: Points to the Indianapolis Colts as a primary quarterback battle to watch, stressing the impact of this contest on the overall offensive performance.
Running Backs:
Jamie Eisenberg: Highlights the New York Giants’ running back battle between Tyrone Tracy and Cam Scatter, expressing uncertainty about their roles and impact on fantasy value.
Dan Schneier: Focuses on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ backfield, particularly the potential of Tank Bigsby becoming a standout running back in the upcoming season.
Wide Receivers and Tight Ends:
Jamie Eisenberg: Analyzes the Los Angeles Chargers’ tight end competition, particularly between Tyler Conklin and Arande Gadsden Jr., and its implications for their receiving corps.
Dan Schneier: Examines the Chicago Bears’ wide receiver depth, considering options like Roma Dunze, Deja Moore, and Luther Burden, anticipating breakout performances from these players.
A substantial segment is dedicated to identifying players poised to exceed their Average Draft Position (ADP), offering fantasy managers potential league-winning assets.
Jamie Eisenberg: Presents a list including Drake May, Travion Henderson, DeAndre Swift, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Travis Hunter. She elaborates on each player's opportunity and potential impact:
Drake May: Expected to excel as a dual-threat quarterback with improved passing numbers and continued rushing prowess.
Travion Henderson: Anticipated to outshine Ramondre Stevenson with his pass-catching abilities in a revamped offensive setup.
DeAndre Swift: Offers a cautious optimism, highlighting his fit in a better system but noting previous inconsistencies.
Marvin Harrison Jr.: Focused on his receiving potential, especially with an expected uptick in targets and red-zone opportunities.
Travis Hunter: Viewed as a wild card with potential to secure significant offensive roles under a competent quarterback.
Dan Schneier: Supports the breakout list, particularly emphasizing Marvin Harrison Jr. and expressing reservations about DeAndre Swift, while adding his own contenders like RJ Harvey, Omarion Hampton, Justin Fields, and Caleb Johnson.
The discussion transitions to players who may underperform relative to their draft positions, warning fantasy managers to exercise caution.
Jamie Eisenberg: Lists high-profile names such as Lamar Jackson, Saquon Barkley, Joe Mixon, Mike Evans, and Brock Bowers, providing reasons for their potential underperformance based on ADP, injury risks, offensive changes, and competition for targets.
Dan Schneier: Offers a contrasting view, particularly disagreeing with Jamie’s assessment of Joe Mixon, Saquon Barkley, and Mike Evans, and presents his own bust list including James Cook, Kyron Williams, Ken Walker, Alvin Kamara, and Chris Godwin. He explains his rationale based on offensive schemes, injury histories, and past performance inconsistencies.
The podcast includes a segment reviewing a recent 12-team PPR mock draft, comparing the drafting strategies of Dan, Adam, and Jamie.
Dan’s Team: Opens with Bijan Robinson, followed by strong WR selections and a strategic approach to tight ends with Jake Ferguson.
Adam’s Team: Prioritizes star players like Christian McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill, and AJ Brown, balancing high-end talent with potential flex options.
Jamie’s Team: Starts with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Ashton Gentry, later adding elite QB Lamar Jackson and TE George Kittle, showcasing a blend of solid WR depth and premium positions.
[39:12] Dan Schneier: Praises his own team’s balance and depth, particularly highlighting his WR core and the addition of breakout potential with RJ Harvey.
Jamie Eisenberg: Commends the aggressive early picks of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Ashton Gentry, and the strategic selection of George Kittle and Lamar Jackson, optimizing her roster for high-scoring potential despite unconventional drafting choices.
